Harvard law graduate for those. Who don't know rick went to law school with chief justice roberts. I believe they even were roommates at one time. And rick. thank you for joining us. Enlighten us What's give us the lowdown on what you picked up from yesterday's hearing we were both chicago bear fan. It was abysmal. It was a terrible time. Oh not not the way. We roomed in went to talk about. Nfl stuff so you know. Look the bottom line is there is much more these days than we've had before the nfl. Name image likeness ruling. The allston case will Way to decide how far the ncaa gets to govern this. And ironically when you talk to some of the big time athletic directors all over college Sports they've been trying to figure out how to govern power five as you know versus everybody else versus division two in three verses the other sports versus title nine. They're all bunch of level of financial commitment. And you gotta cover all of them the name image likeness stuff doesn't just involve the top marketable player in college football or basketball. Every year trickle down to all five hundred thousand student athletes in the ncaa men and women so it is not an easy decision. Remember the ncaa. Mark everett last year said. We're going to do it. We both knew the devil was in the details. And it's a big devil.

"The problem. That's insanity of all this is that you're talking about a guy who for the next three or four years will keep your team competitive if not playing in super bowls. But you've got to get guys around him and help him in everything you're showing. Him is the way to the door. I mean that's insanity from the packers. I don't care how good jordan love is going to be and the next two years or possibly three years. He won't be as good as aaron rodgers without a catastrophic injury. Rogers go beat this level for quite some time. I just don't understand why green bay but they have done it to themselves greenie. They have put themselves this situation. They've gotta figure their way out and get him signed to an extent when you draft his replacement. You're telling him it's not your team anymore. You're telling him that your long. We're loaning you this but we're not selling it to you. It's not your team. I got to leave it there. You go through the weekend super-quick go ahead go ahead. Not just keep playing in my mind. Do you guys remember where. Kaiser came in against chicago. Bears when aaron rodgers had the injury and aaron rodgers came back with the knee and showed us the value degree. Former Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky Signs One-Year Deal With Bills

"Announced earlier today former bears quarterback mitch trubisky signing a one year deal with the buffalo bills presumably to backup josh allen. There it is a two and a half million dollar deal with some incentives tied into it. That's injury presumably would be the other scenario. He gets beat out for the backup and he's the third. Is that one. maybe it gets cut. It's a there's a chance he'll be the backup. Let me ask you this question though. Because it's easy and it's if we're making fun of mitchell way or mitchell and that's worthy of being made fun of i think but not this. He's okay right you know. He's making more than a lot of hardworking people. You know literally do in a lifetime in this bad year but they are in the end of these players these reaching the pinnacle of their profession. And it's a billion dollar profession. They make money. They're supposed to make. I mean to me. The beauty of the nfl's rev share agreement. Is they're saying okay. The players contribute fifty percent the infrastructure. The all legacy to have the trademarks team. You know however you want to think about that fifty percent we take the money in. We divvied up and go. I mean to me that means that you can't even debate if collectively that you were jones but collectively with the players deserve their millions and millions and billions ultimately. They do that said we can. Because they're making so much money. We can have some fun with it. But i gotta be honest. I think that trubisky getting resigned by the bears was closer than we thought. Because i would make the following case. Let me ask you joan. What you would have made the odds. I don't we didn't do it at the time but right when this season let's say the regular season ended and those that remember obviously foles got her trubisky came back in play statistically significantly. Better at that point. I would have guessed about thirty percent chance. The trubisky would've had been rinse we signed in some significant way. Not like a five hundred million dollar deal but a real deal. I think the odds weren't worse than thirty percent. What would you have guessed. The is debate. I yeah i would have said probably about the same because that was a lot of the discussions i know in and around chicago that day. Did he play himself back into consideration for the twenty twenty one quarterback job and when i see him getting beat out for the job. I don't mean that. As a slight m i actually think. He's a much better quarterback than people give him credit for. I think for that kind of money if somebody comes in and outplays him buffalo's not gonna be tied to that contract like if he would have signed for seven or eight million

Chicago Bears get under cap while keeping Fuller

"Improved today. Free agency her I come. That's from Jared. Thank you, Jared. Then how did the bears keep Kyle Fuller today? How did they get under the cap is a good question because it was floated out earlier this morning that Kyle Fuller might all of a sudden become available on my goodness. I would do some backflips here in the studio. Not that I could. And not that I would really try. But mentally, you know, figuratively. Metaphorically. I would do backflips if the Broncos somehow could pull off a trade. Or acquisition of Kyle Fuller. It was floated out there that he might even become available for, like, 1/4 round pick. That was this morning. Of course, the new league here has started. Every team needs to be underneath the salary cap so somehow The Bears were able to get in there. But that does not mean he's not Possible to become available. There's there's still potential there, because again, the Bears might see some other players they want to get. They still have some roster holes. Call four based on where's contract situation is is that could save 11 million to the cap? If they moved on from Kyle Fuller? If they could somehow find a trade partner right there reconfigured that kind of stuff. You know that a leak that out that came out from the Chicago side of the house to get Kyle Fuller to take the team to take the The restructure. That's exactly what it was. It's negotiating through the media s O. That was. I don't know if that was a surprise to people or what? I've seen that tactic to play before, so I knew what itwas on def he had had been Let go. Yes, the Broncos would have been very interested. They would been all over that, however, you know, I mean, that's that's just It's Organization. Negotiating to the meeting happens all the time you get the leak. Well, I think I had to let him go. And that that make sure that the player gets the message like, Hey, we're cutting you if you don't You don't get your cap number down. We need it s It's really wanna call Fuller here. It's strong arming people. Yeah, I know. You know, I hear you. Um, Yeah, I would like you to butt on. That would've made a nice a nice trio corners. But, you know, I think they're looking for lower tier veteran guy to be some beam or death, like the dime corner. On. I think their top three this year is just probably going to be, uh, Darby Callahan. And he's saying Bassi question

NFL Franchise Tag: What it is and how it works

NFL Franchise Tag: What it is and how it works

"What is a franchise tax. So you hear this word a lot. I always used to think franchise tag means. We're just gonna see that player on that specific team for the remaining of the season but there or for the next year but they're a little more complicated in that so every offseason teams have a two week window to plot to a one year franchise tag so once the player gets tagged they can either sign that contract or a long term extension. Which is the more i think. That's the more popular use of the franchise tag because a of teams don't want their their coveted players to hit free agency and they don't want another to swoop them without getting being able to offer them. I so these salaries for for each tag varies by position and the price is set by either adding the top five paid players from each position or it can be one hundred percent of a player's previous year's salary so twenty percent Increase in that salary so by position quarterback at least twenty six million a year with the franchise tag water. She was get seventeen million defensive ends get around seventeen million but less than receivers linebackers get fifteen million and so on and so forth. I think running backs get around ten million so it all depends on how guys are being being paid at that specific position so teams only can use this once a year and they can only use it on one player you can use it on the same player different years but yeah you can only had us one tag per year. There's different types of tags. There's an exclusive franchise tag which means players can't negotiate it all with other teams. There's a non exclusive franchise tag where other teams can make an offer and then The the team that has that player can match that offered and take the player And then there's a tradition. Tax tradition tags are similar to non-exclusive but players get an average of top ten position salaries instead of top five. So there's a little bit of a my discrepancy there and once the tag is applied teams have until mid july to renegotiate the contract. So like i said most common use for these franchise tag is not let a player. They want hit free agency. They wanna keep them around and then negotiate a more long-term deal to save some money and get under the cap for the foreseeable future so these somewhat can be slightly unfair A lot of players disliked the franchise tag for example on robinson is voiced his opinions against the franchise tag because it plays a lot of restrictions on upper-echelon players. So when a player like allen robinson gets franchise tagged they can't really find the real market value because they have that set price on them and if they wanted to go explore free agency then they could go interview with a bunch of teams test the waters and see what their actual worth is rather than getting a set number Just put on them so that's somewhat unfair This makes them have no financial security past one season. So if there's an injury then you know they just their value could just completely plummet. Under the franchise tag now players can hold out. That's really the only leverage they have in the su- situation but you know that's asking a lot of a player to put their public. Perception line put their reputation with the fans on the line and so most players don't do that but it has gotten to that point before so most cases players work at a deal for the tag comes into place in july which is the deadline for them to restructure. Or make that deal. So now i'm gonna get into what players have got tagged so far and What does that mean for. These teams moving forward. I player i wanted to discuss. Is alan robinson so. This one was obvious when it had to be done. Bears have a lot of uncertainty at the at the quarterback situation. So i don't think they wanted to make a long term deal without knowing where what direction they were gonna go with the quarterback. But you couldn't let player of this caliber and a player. This talented gopher nothing in return so in twenty twenty roms a career. High one hundred two passes for twelve hundred fifty yards. And he's only twenty seven which is pretty remarkable considering everything he's been through he had a tornado in two thousand seventeen with jacksonville. And he's really played with really bad quarterbacks over the years he's had blake bortles who's a backup slash bouncing around the league and he's played with mitch trubisky. Who's a failed first round pick for the chicago bears. And he's still been that he's had that production there no matter what. So i really wanna see robinson play with upper echelon quarterback and i just think if you give him a russell wilson someone who's above slightly above average maybe even just average than his numbers will go up. Even more is ridiculous so like i said he's a true number one receiver. I would argue top five in the league. He's either gonna play for seventeen million in two thousand twenty which is what his franchise tag number. I think he's looking for more around twenty million and easier gonna play under that contract or he can hold out. Which i think is definitely a possibility with this player just because of the displeasure. He's voiced on social media and kind of how players of rallied. His teammates have rallied rallied around him and they really want to see him get paid but when you look at the market value so he's gonna get paid seventeen million the tag next year.

How 9/11 Set Robert Saleh on the Path to Coaching the New York Jets

"And how many years have you been covering this franchise. Pablo f govern the jets for thirty two years. Which is longer than any person in history that's deserves a purple heart or you know a trip to the insane asylum but yes. It's thirty two years. And so how. Many coaches coaches have you seen. Come through the new york jets in that time. Yeah it's funny because the other day w- before they introduced roberts sala. I went back and checked because we need covered. That long. And the jets chains coaches so often you lose track over over time. He ends well. Total man okay. So you're the perfect person to talk to today. Your latest piece rich is about number twelve robert sala and his decidedly unique journey to new york city and the nfl coaching ranks. So before we get into all of the football and there is so much there. Tell me a little bit about robert. Saleh's background where did he grow up in. What was his upbringing like. Robert grew up in dearborn michigan which is just outside of detroit. Most people know it as a home of ford motor company but it's also the largest percentage of arab americans in the country. He is the grandson of lebanese immigrant. Muslim neighborhood a very strong and closely knit neighborhood and football was a big part of it. At robert really has football in his family. His dad played at eastern michigan university. He was. I'm told a very good middle linebacker. In fact he had a tryout with the chicago bears uncles who played cousins. Who played his older brother. David played all at ford's in high school. You mentioned the solid name at forts in high school and there is a strong tradition. Some of the best players in the schools history are members of the family from an early age. When robert was a seven year old waterboy for his older brother's football team. Football has been a huge part of his life. The family's life very much part of his upbringing in dearborn michigan so robert is growing up in this lebanese-american muslim family in dearborn a football family. What kind of player was robert himself. Yeah very good player. A captain in highschool played two ways. He was a linebacker in a tight end and really good. I talked to his high school coach. Jeff sturdiness in. I asked him. I said what kind of player was robert. He said he was like all the other solids he can really hit. You actually wears a bracelet to this day on his on his wrist during games. It says extreme violence. So i guess we could describe him as a very physical player who was good enough to get a scholarship in northern michigan and he went on to become an all conference. Tight end in northern michigan fell was ever a serious option for him. But i would say you know a really good ice school football player who enjoyed a solid career. So if you're a football player with that decidedly unsubtle mission statement rich. What do you do after college. Robert went to the exact opposite spectrum of what that mission statement would be. I mean he goes to work behind a desk working a nine to five job in a very stuffy. Corporate office building in downtown detroit is a credit analyst for america bank putting his finance degree work. His brother david is in the financial world is well you know. He graduated with a finance degree. So this is just following in the footsteps of his family. You know his dad had some done. Some business work. His grandfather was actually owned his own furniture store in dearborn. So he's really robert. Sala is point in his life in the year. Two thousand just anna colleges just following in the footsteps of some of his other relatives.

Watson Wants Houston Texans Trade - No Matter The New Coach

"Be enemy. Who watson apparently liked and wanted at the beginning the talk. Now there's nothing better talk narrows it. The shaun watson is doesn't care who the head coaches that he's going to ask out and he wants to be traded now. This is the fact that i've tried to say speculation until he says something. But there's enough insight from these people who do their job morton schefter and and rappaport and all the people that it's this is not fake. It's obviously real people. Think laking this to these. I don't have any idea. But all of them have their sources. It's definitely there's there's no way it's anybody. But sean somebody connected to sean agent. A a buddy whatever it is we everybody has somebody that go to for this. And this is obviously real. The question is how real is the trade. How real would it be. And sean again. The texans on a on a give him all that money which he deserved. But putting a no trade clause in for twenty five year old and an and now if he decides to drop the no-trade clause he can decide where he goes. So let's say it was the pittsburgh steelers who wanted offer but it was less offer than the. Let's say the chicago bears and he says i'm not going to either one and i'm not going to be here so now you've been he'd that the only thing he does control about this he can hold out but he can also pigeonhole you into who you're going to trade with which may cost you less. Because they know the sean while you may get less for him because shawn watson can lead you down all six different teams and lead you down to. Here's the to. it's either here. i'm not going. And i'm not showing up now. You can call the bluff and say we're not trading you there for that and cause they're not we're not we're going to get somewhat close to equal value which is going to be impossible. But then you're going to have to hold out if you wanna play that kind of hard ball or less. Just gonna go in and say you know what we'll give you away for a cheaper price. Let the fact that he's unhappy as obviously real so. It's something that has to be discussed now. I'm not going to sit here and speculate will go into the jetsons you i don't know and none of us do and i don't know i still think it'd be stupid to trade him. But if you play hardball you and you're playing that okay. Are you going to hold out. You're not call the bluff.

"Apparently matt nagy is going to make it to next year. The bears are gonna keep him the head coach. The general manager ryan pays. Who may have been more maligned than nagy. Decline the fifth year option trubisky. But it's still an option to bring him back in some way our jeff dickerson who covers the bears is essentially reporting. Nagy and pace will be back. Our dan orlovsky is voicing his opposition. What has matt nagy done as for his a an organizer as far as a leader as far as a person with foresight within their organization to say yes in that head coaching role. We love them. Now we're going to allocate some of the play calling responsibilities or the offensive viewpoint. Who are we going to give that to. And what has matt nagy done within. That building approve on great in this role. I understand what dan is coming from. But i think in this situation. He has a winning record. Chuck pagano is retiring as a defense coordinator so he's got to his staff and his thought process in his thinking. Maybe there's a guy or two out there that is really good at calling. Plays really good at putting a system in place to make. Whoever the quarterback is going to be in the future for them successful. So i'm okay with them taking a look see. They just went to the playoffs. So you take a look in just poo. poo it. because you've got to restart things all over again when you completely blow everything up so give it a shot in twenty twenty one see where it's at. He's going to be before you make that decision and that move now mr bisky mitch. Trubisky is jockeying for position to come back and be the chicago. Bears starting quarterback again. Now maybe there's a small deal there because they didn't pick up the fifth year option. There's a small little deal. Maybe there's a two year deal. That is a proven deal that he can now show with a new office coordinator his abilities that he showed in north carolina and made them take him as a number two pick overall.

Chicago Bears Lose To Green Bay Packers, But Are Headed To Playoffs

"Patriots aren't even that. Close the steelers at thirty two. The forty niners next. I'll then the cowboys and only then do we get to new england and a few spots down from that we get to the green bay packers and the frozen tundra of lambeau field which is where they could clinch the number one seed through these playoffs if they were to take care of business in chicago. Yesterday dan aaron rodgers putting on a show green that throws out sleep ridiculous finding all the way on the backside and just that flick of the wrist on love. This play realizes pressure doesn't want to get the motion offbeat that blitzing nickelback. I've gotten nbs on a linebacker down the middle feel. That's an easy touchdown. For the greatest quarterbacks ever look at them just a flick of the wrist right up where that trailing the linebacker beautiful play by rodgers and ensuing drive because they were hanging around for much of this this mitch trubisky. This is cole. Command this ball is coming out. And that's the last thing in the world you need to do as the packer defense will celebrate is give more chances because dan you know he knows what to do. Exactly greenwich see the empty. I'm going to scan. I'm going to scan them skin. I got protection that i'm gonna get trailing linebacker. That lime tight end. Linebacker doesn't do his job carrying vertical touchdown green bay rogers in the first half ten of ten. The one fifty five and three touchdowns is that good jones taking it in for score. Twenty eight sixteen bears trying to hang in there and then they're not you got. That seem route your tight end and the safe the amos cla- classes on it. You got across his face. Mitchell trubisky doesn't see the same way as the tight end turnover chicago the packers after the pick. There's devante that's the fourth touchdown of the day for aaron rodgers who puts the finishing touches on. Here's mvp resume and the road to the nfc or through the nfc. We'll go through lambeau field. You don't see the packers on the screen. Because they get the by the wildcard next saturday. You got the rams at seattle. Then later that night it's washington hosting tom brady and the bucks and then sunday. The bears will visit drew. Brees and the saints. That is the way this whole thing shaped up and

"They also have the coach of the year. We noted the standard is the standard. We know that excuses built monuments of nothingness in twos of the incompetent. We also know no matter. What is the next man up. But the next man up is going to be the kansas city chiefs. I see it there. Seventy-one are see. They lost to the raiders. I don't give a thing. They got patrick mahomes as long as they got patrick mahomes they will probably be my number one. He is the best doing it. Defense coming around turn into football over. They got the landlord on the other side. That's right tyrod. Matthew you know you call it when you go from the honey badger who has to live outside and fend for himself and now your landlord. Union gospel rich became so big time. You own the dang build it. And that's the kansas city. She saw they build it. It's the kansas city chiefs against the field. Not just the field in the afc. The entire field. But when you got a quarterback decade throw the whole field you ain't even trip rc outstanding with your top five but before we go earlier today doing explain your tweets. You said quote. I'm a firm believer. That specialists are not football players. Even pat mcafee. Oh well pat. Mcafee has responded. Okay south is he's looking for you. He sees. Hey i'm still here. "Great so i mean they're playing competitive ballgames. You see losing extremely close week after week so yeah. The jaguars are a professional. And james robinson if you're not watching him by the way fantasy people i know. Pay attention to this more. But he's put up big numbers. He's breaking tackles. He's catching the ball. The backfield he wears them or thirty eight. The best look at running back is nice in the steelers would be ready are so you're sitting at early every now and again when there's a team that's really bad like let's use the jets this year. They're the worst team in the nfl. People will say well. How did it go if they played alabama. How would that go are see. They would still alabama out you know why because we are looking at alabama and we you know they have all of these five stars all of these four stars. Well you know what the jets have. They have fifty three professionals. And i think we start to miss that you know because everybody who people who don't play people who sit on the outside or people who critique it wanna talk about how bad certain dudes are yes but they better than you they were. They were drafted. They were kept like i. I it almost pisses me off when we start to have these conversations because you undermine what these men truly are what. These men have accomplished what they've gone through. And when you look at the jacksonville jaguars it's a team of professional. Football players is not a team. Maybes is not a team. Let me valuate this guy and scott him and maybe we could drive them. It's a team of due to made it and when you do that you have a certain level of pride you have a certain level of skill and you will show up to try to win every week and some weeks is your week. Unless you're the jets. That hasn't been there week in a very long time. David has handed. Go ahead greenie..

"Wait any those those things as a competition. He sees those things as complete excellence. And also what. I think you guys missed that i i don i. I hope he got mad at me for saying this is like he doesn't really give a lot of credence to what we say he doesn't and i'm not talking about just players with media members like i don't think you'll understand it. He doesn't feel like y'all can get it. that's why he said you write the stories. You want to write because in his mind. He's like y'all ain't been through this. Y'all ain't seen this. Y'all know what this is. You have to be set up a certain way to do this year in year out day in day out for fourteen years and not lose and not be a loser ever demands. Never been a loser. He's the never had a losing season. And that's because he approaches every day the same way so the. Jags go get the same treatment to kansas city chiefs. Go get from mike tomlin. He is located the best coach in the nfl. Actually if you look at what he has accomplished in the last few years what would you give. What would you like to underline. I would like to sit there. And i admire mike tomlin. I'm happy. His son is maryland terrapin. Because i think that maybe that will bleed into the organization. They're even will get better. I love the standard at a standard is my favorite. This morning. when. I woke up my four year old. Woke her up before she had to go to prekindergarten on. I'll say look today. The standard is trying to raise my kid. Mike tomlin raised that team because it is incredible. I told her that peanut butter and jelly loses a meat on that sandwich. Got standard is the standard little girl. You know what she's going to have an excellent day to be the best. She can be today so david pollack let me come like in college football. We do talk about trap games right. There are teams that thirty point favorites. Forty point favorites. Seems that literally don't belong on the same field that doesn't exist in the nfl. Does it like the jacksonville. Jaguars they can beat the steelers. If the steelers don't show up right. I mean absolutely and the jaguars if you're watching them by the way it's not it's not the mac but they got an fcs running back james robinson that's ballin j. takeover for gardner minshew with the quarterback spot and he's playing.

"Test man over there and the scantron there. Abc anyway when you when you look the titans man defense has been bad. It's been really special. Teams are a hot mess. I mean it's all putting the ball missing field goals getting punched blocked. I just don't trust them. And when you look at their wins by the way six of the seven wins seven points or less. And you're talking about the vikings about one the broncos by the jags by three the texans by five. I don't trust the titans i know. They had a good run a year ago. I don't think that the same team from a year ago i just. I can't buy into the tennessee. Titans and what i've seen from them. Grazziano six thirteen. That's gonna miss. Yeah i'm with david here on the titans i look. There's a lot working against them. Brian mentions the game against cleveland. That game is in tennessee. That's unusual of their remaining. Seven games. five are on the road including one in green bay late december. They gotta go a bunch of places in the point that david just made about the special teams is not to be underestimated. Mike vrabel is sticking with stephen gostkowski as kicker former teammates. Even though staus continues to miss kicks the situation is a problem. Those are the things that can make a big difference when the margins are as small as they are in the nfl and talking about a crowded afc playoff race. Like this. if you can't count on your kicking game you've got a big problem. They still have to play to your point at baltimore at indian dan and at green bay. They have all those games on the road. The only thing they have in their favor is they could still win their division. They have ways to get in the teams in the other divisions generally speaking only one way to try to get it and they still have two ways. They could possibly indi who they're tied with. They have those but they get the chance to avenge those teams again. That one's in indianapolis so that's that playoff picture now. It is time for dominique to answer a whole bunch of questions. Climate question about next next. Mike liden such.

"May have to decide going into the final part of this season. What gives us the best chance to win. Now is interested as the coach said. We will do self scouting during this by week. So dominic foxworth when they do their self scouting. What are they going to see. I mean he said he's going to try to figure out the wears in the wise. The problem isn't that the problem is the who's like they don't have the guys that they have to make these plays. I don't care how many places you go things you figure out if you ain't got them boys you ain't got boys and they don't have it. As far as the coaching staff. Point is concerned. They don't have it and the quarterback position it seems like they had they might have some receiving playmakers. But if you can't get the ball to that you can't get the ball tomb. So they're going to have to be one of these teams that find really creative ways to come up with trick. Plays fleet flickers double reverses. Whatever you gotta do to score points and it gives them support to that defense because the defense under chuck pagano and what those playmakers. They're going to be fine. You just gotta find a way to manufacture enough points. Be at seventeen twenty whatever you can get to give that defense some support and stop worrying about being too complex to figure things out run trick plays this put it. A bunch of trick plays gets you some one in a regular stuff. Ain't working double reverses bleep liquors whatever you gotta do hook and ladder put it. All in halfback passes quarterback passes whatever you gotta do. Fake punts onside. Kids do it all because your offense as it is set is not working. And you're not bringing in a new quarterback the two you have don't seem to be the answer or the other side of that is hundred and eighty degrees away from that ryan clark witches. You take the quarterback you have who can run with the ball. You play a very conservative offense. You try as hard as you can not to turn the ball over which they've been doing not to make mistakes on offense and let your defense try and win these games. Seventeen thirteen does that make more sense but the fact that they when they were winning. That's what they were doing with trubisky two years ago and they've gone away from it and i've never fully understood it. Yeah i think it makes total sense. Listen when i listen to matt nagy feels like frankie lymon is talking. And he's trying to pick between his three wives. You might as well throw tyler break in there to let him try to get some playing time. But you make you bring up a great point greenie like you winning with mitchell trubisky. You had a formula when he used his legs when he used his athleticism. we saw the chicago. Bears able to eke out games have a great season and they were doing doing away from moving on to the next round of the playoffs. What's wrong with that. You don't have to be this offensive. Jeez you don't have to show us. Oh what you can do with your offense this where the league is moving if you have. An athletic quarterback put an assistant that allows him to do those things allow allow him to have run pass options and believe in the guy that your gm moved up to number two to take. Because you wh- it didn't work. You thought you were going to be this quarterback guru and show us all how smart you are now except that take the pride and the ego out and try to find a way to help this team win and i think that would be going back to mitchell trubisky and doing some things differently as a coach. The skepticism is oozing from the face of dominic foxworth. And i don't disagree with with your skepticism. But it feels like the best chance they have i. We'll take a break on that thought. We'll come back.

"I'll tell you what Olin is really becoming a very good analyst. He's got great eyes on the game great personality that it's always a joy to talk to him. Let's see Jason time for your predictions. What are you got? All right Peggy. I just I don't know when I'll be free agency is going to start but I will say that the White Sox are designed Trevor Bauer's are going to break the bank first hundred million dollar cost deal in team history to me often and not just come inside my second prediction that they are not going to hire Tony larussa. I don't know where that came from the hiring a 76 year old to manage. One of the youngest teams in baseball just sounds really counterintuitive me. My third prediction is that the bowls when the NBA draft comes I believe there's a few weeks to three weeks. They're going to draft lamelo ball. So lots of exciting name can be coming to Chicago. No, lots of lots of turnover between the Blackhawks and bowls and the White Sox. It'll be very interesting winter. You can know we're really not going to see Chicago Sports except for the Bears over the winter months. I loved it. Hey, it seems like it's been forever since we all faced the first shutdowns of our cities due to the coronavirus Pandora if you have your second not looking too beautiful, Austin, Texas, and we don't have to worry about a thing. Oh, come on. What here's my final thoughts that was back in March for all of us and Jason you sound like a whole different person you were down in the dumps. You were depressed that there was no Sports. No college basketball tournament. All the games were put on hold opening day for baseball was ruined everything now. It's seven months later and not facing what they are calling the second wave here in the Midwest and just like the squirrels and all the other animals. We too are starting to hunker down for a Long Winter. It's not going to be easy because Have to tell you something. I had a great summer. Honestly, I cannot remember the last time I truly truly enjoyed being outside whenever I could I played a ton of money. Yes. I played a ton of golf. I played a ton of golf had the best year of my life. I was down to a what was I down to a 13 handicap which was way too low for me, but let me let me just interject. Really. I remember three four times a week over the summer coming down stairs like 11:30 being like, where's where I thought it was listen. We were we were given the opportunity to be outdoors and some fashion playing golf being on an outdoor patio eating at a restaurant that had outdoor seating. It's one thing that the pandemic has done and it's made all of us grateful for what we do have. I truly appreciate the restaurant industry workers who are still hanging on by a thread. Our businesses but became really creative and worked tirelessly to give us all a place to be friends and to be social to the golf courses that changed how they did business again. I could enjoy things outside. I don't know what the next few months are going to bring but it feels an awful lot like it did a few months ago a bit helpless until as Mike Ditka said after he was fired in nineteen, ninety three this too shall pass. "Not going to break two or three tackles and go to the house. So the birth Are missing that kind of player. I'd like to see them improve their with their running game and their offensive line working together. Cuz look at here's the here's the honest truth about the Bears to be honest with you. I'm an expert on it. There's not a lot of talent there and they have to they have to get in a room somewhere and they have to admit that to themselves. So when you don't have to have a lot of talent you you have to be all in by that I mean, you have to contract your details, you have to give maximum effort on every play. You have to be better than the sum of your cock. So when you asked me where they have to approve by position-wise, what they have to do is they have to improve all eleven guys have to be a well-oiled machine artists authors really doesn't have a chance so they have to go in every time thinking this is a gang fight. It's also 11:00 working together to pull this boat on a field do everything right. For example. You cannot on 34 come across the middle and a crossroad like Miller did and then run backwards you can do that. Okay, the offensive line has to be able to recognize run flip pick em up and give their running back or Kris and only way you pick a run place up is you all work together really really? Well. What do you think it's going to take because clearly no matter how many times you win like, you said earlier like all the matters at the end of the day just wait in the Bears have done that so far with the exception of the game against the against the cold. So what do you think of Acres have to do other than judge when to finally make the fans happy because although I'm not in Chicago from what my mom and some of my friends and saying it seems like people still can't like can't just be a happy with a good start off. Well, yeah, that's just a Bears fan, right? I paid her for thirteen years and I you know, you understand that and sometimes these new guys coming from out of town like a big bows and they can understand it. But yep. Is this the way it is right in when they're going to you know, what the what the Chicago fans want to see obviously is an offense that puts up 24 to 30 points a game. Like everybody else is in the back and then if he has dominated like they have them but my guess is you're only going to get that if you get a bunch of turnovers in a bowl starts popping out, but the problem is that happened last week and the Bergen it still didn't look really good. So if you're waiting for the offense to look really good looking play some really bad defenses and still haven't put the bone in don't still have it moved the ball consistently on the field. So I think we're pretty much looking at identity wise of what this team is for the rest of the season. I love the Spurs defense. I think everybody loves us. Friends there is I don't know what you can complain about with this Bears defense. They've only given up eight touchdowns and 19 points a game. I mean, that's nine touchdowns 18 field goals. This is them Numbers are amazing. And I almost look at it. Like the first couple of games. They felt like they were in preseason mode. They they were kind of getting into shape especially Robert Quinn, but now between Quincy and Hakeem Hicks and Khalil Mack the pressure that they're getting up front allowing the guys in the back to make the plays and they're making the plays. This is like old bear football that everybody loves but I want to ask you cuz I know we only have a minute or two left. I want to ask you this Olan the penalties. I have a different. I have kind of a boxing mentality when it comes to penalties like yes, they can be stupid. And yes, the Bears are like tied for last or tied for the top with the most penalties. Whatever in the NFL they can be stupid too many men in the Huddle stupid stupid stupid. We know that Nagy isn't trying to you know, pull something over in a Bill Belichick kind of weigh. Those are just stupid penalties on defense. Well, this is how I feel like late hits roughing-the-passer. Unnecessary roughness, I know we're trying to protect the safety of the players, you know Olin sometimes those are wake-up calls that you kind of need to put in the head of an offensive player that holyshit. These guys can hit and and almost to the point where they're going to start hearing footsteps. And and it doesn't bother me as much what's happening with Kyle Fuller off. The only thing you don't want to happen is for the refs to start labeling you as one of those guys and now they start looking for it, right? But but the good thing is if the refs break down film like Thursday, we know they do they'll see that that he's not being dirt. He's actually trying to hit them with perfect fundamentals which his shoulder you guys head out of there. So hopefully the Reps Thursday that they're making a mistake and you're you're totally correct about this defense man. They are fun to watch their defensive line. You know, we all know the names Khalil Mack Hakeem Nicks and Robert Quinn, but this Mario game Words, I watch the game with the Panthers. He beat the left guard three times in a row. So they're going to win if guys like Mario Edwards are Roy robertson-harris are Brett Urban are going to win there was a guy on match up. This deal is going to be unstoppable pay going to be honest with you. So yes, you wanted to defense plan on the edge a little bit and honestly, I'd like to see a personal fall from an offensive lineman eventually at this month. They get that kind of mentality to where they're hustling down the field cleaning off the pile of giving Max effort. I definitely I am not worried about Kyle Fuller actually. I mean, he's got a very high level he's very he's smart you take advantage of he knows how good that decrease the line is. So he takes calculated chances on this shooting on Route, you know that the receiver and have a lot of time to run double move. So he took his own he knows the balls got to come out and then he just hunts the guys crossing over the middle and push very good hits on them. You know, you could say he was there a little early in that. You know the one yep. Action picked it off and went to the end zone but you could also argue that that doesn't get called very often in the NFL. So I'm hoping this a little bit of a bad luck there on the calls from the referees because they could have gone either way but this defense I don't think you worry about it. I think they just keep playing exactly the way they've been played and a guy that that needs to be mentioned besides Jalen Johnson. We played really well for a rookie. It's tashaun gipson the added him to the secondary with Eddie Jackson and those two guys wouldn't be surprised if the secondary expert guys suck at bowling or these guys who work for ESPN. I wouldn't be surprised if they say that Gibson and Jackson or the best safety combination in the league by the end of the year. Wow. Hey, I think you're right to I think they're missing a Kyle long little scruff, you know that kind of that fire on the offensive line of times. All right, we're just about out of time, but I just have one comment to say and log All in the Bears signed Manti Te'o this past week and I just gotta say that fifteen years ago you and your teammates would have had a field day and in the locker room with a man title. That's all I'm going to say. You know, I would.

"They gave Robert Quinn 70 million additives. Okay, the Bears offensive line, we all know needed help so they went on and got Germain ifedi for league minimum. So now now we're not very confused why the Bears all kind is not plain great football game right now, right and it's just even when I when I used to play for the Bears for years people would ask me that question what's wrong with the Bears offensive line and and trying to be a good teammate, I wouldn't say a word but my what I wanted to say, I have you looked at the draft pick since we got here right? Have you have you looked at who we've signed? I remembered 2009 the offensive line was terrible and and I had a conversation with some of the month. We gotta we really need to improve our offense right? We're going to get get color killed here. And so what they did is around the side Julius Peppers, they put another Hall of Famer on a defense of Brian Urlacher and in the club. Discontinue the next year why is your offensive line so bad and I just keep looking at the people would ask the question that they man. I mean, all you have to do is look at draft picks and look at who we sign is free agent and you figure out why we don't play very often decided the line. Yeah, they're buying Toyota's on the offensive line and Porsches on defense. So it's a little it's a little different. Sorry about that chase of go ahead with the exception of the offensive line. Which what other unit on the entire team. Do you think needs improve the most in order for the Bears to validate their their Good Start? You know, what I what I'd like to see an improvement on is David Montgomery just or somebody. I don't know who they'll get artavis Pierce or or Cordarrelle Patterson or so. You know, what I'm getting to is when when all Chris lines does give me your whole you have to hit it right and and here's a problem with David Montgomery, even if you know, I love the way he played he's not going to break two or three tackles and go to the house. So the birth Are missing that kind of player. I'd like to see them improve their with their running game and their offensive line working together. "I watch Nick Foles press conference. And he you know, he got he got emotional over being questioned them about them not being very good. And I think coach Nagy was irritated to kind of like, you know Peggy my my answer was a welcome to Chicago and you play off with a really good defense, right? So, they'll get used to it, you know, as long as you win games nothing else really does matter. I mean, obviously when you look at them from an analyst standpoint, you're wondering when they get into that wage work or if an office desk or twenty one point early or three touchdowns. Can we score 28 to 30 points which they have? I think they get the bulk. Is it put up 30 points or the phone number? To go to Indiana fell but like you said pay you and you watch that defense, they're extremely good and they got one thing that a lot of good teams and teams that have good success with the formula of the defense wins games. They create chaos with a quarterback and they speed up the offense is clogged which creates turnovers. So that defense to me on film look up to dominate not only been six weeks, but that's secondary to find the involved the defense side how good they've been playing is that secondary is playing really well also, so so, you know and thought we'd love to say there's no pictures on the scorecard. I don't care how you got that birdie. "Their quarterback is not the guy that you could just strap everything onto his back and say win me these games but their system and how they're doing things and the talent overall that they have. There is good enough to win Games especially with the coaching that they're getting. So I like the browns. Let me just tell you this about your defense. Okay. So far this season by my metrics, you'll played the second toughest schedule of opposing offenses that any team. Has played this year and over the rest of the season, you're about to tie for the second. Sorry for the easiest schedule of opposing offenses the rest of the way. So your defense has played very tough offenses and there are about to play offenses that struggle a lot more the rest of the season. So Hara I think that there is a silver lining into what your defense is going to look like down the road here and I don't think you should give up hope or fire your defense coordinator right now if there is a better answer on the staff. They know the staff better than I do I'm sure there. They might be thinking about him but. I don't know that the better answer is right there. In the building we'll see I mean look Dan Queen gave up play calling duties mid season last year, and the defense got a lot better so I'm I'm hoping that they are open minded and trying to think of creative ways to improve their coaching. Every team should be doing a lot of self scouting every single week of the season. All right. Let me ask you a spread question before we hit this Thursday night game. So I read this fact the other day about over unders and how it's playing out so. Far. Through three four weeks of the season. Now, typically with anything whether it against the spread home road, we look up at the end and it's not a massive difference be off a fifty percent they usually all kind of even out but there's GonNa be a Lotta unders that hit on early games for this thing to even out because it has started off blazing it is twenty, eight and seven the overs have hit in the noon games so far this season is there anything to that in your mind and my second question is knowing that it does always kind of even out. Do I star slamming early game under Snell because the lines are going to become inflated 'cause there it's twenty, eight and seven. You almost never see that in a in. With any kind of various terms of win-loss were one side hitting that more money off than the other? What do we make of this? Well so a couple of things number one where we go and isolate out like just the noon games or just the Thursday night games and things of that nature like I think you've definitely increase the level of variance there and there's different patterns that. You'll have benchley be able to spot in any type of you sample size of games, and so you stripping those out like there's no rhyme or reason why? Though one o'clock games would go over more than a four o'clock game right? Like you could make logical reasons why maybe Thursday night game we'll go over more because a shorter prep time for a defense to prepare for the offense or things of. That nature but you can't make logical reasons to that. Are that are fact based and sound to say why? More one? PM Games going over then four PM game. So to me that's just pure variants and there's nothing nothing further than that. I agree that it has been at a high rate but to your bigger point and your broader point of you know maybe you just bang the unders because. It's got to even out the the response to that is we have seen adjustments made in the betting market this week to account for that, and I'm going to talk a lot more about this on the Friday show. So if you're really interested in hearing how this is factoring in than I, highly encourage you turn on tune into the Friday show with house, but certainly big just big picture statement What was the main theme of last week during the week? It was tons of people from all walks of life whether you're just ESPN. You're talking about things or your. More local reporters or anything. The points are up has been an all time high wise. The reason for that and everybody's conjecturing theorizing as to why the reason is a lot of them aren't entirely correct about that. But that's fine. Everybody is basically talking about the big thing that scoring his up. So what are the odds makers do this week? They're going to inflate the lines knowing that even you know mom and pop who want to place a bet on the game of read the newspaper and turn on the news and seeing the mainstream media talking about points being high and overs cashing, and so they're just going to start betting these and so yes, absolutely looking to. Fade that at some point like if you bet every if you chose to bet every single game under the total, like would you actually make money this week because you haven't in prior week but would this be the week that you could make money? It is possible I will say that based upon my modeling. Books definitely have made a massive adjustment from last week to week. All right. Last thing what are you looking forward to most in bucks bears which is the best Thursday night game we've had so far for sure. Yeah. Look the Chicago bears they've played a lot of offenses that have struggled. I think every single one of the offenses that the Chicago Bears Defense has played has ranked twenty first or worst. With three of the four ranking bottom ten in the NFL now, they have to go and play the Tampa Bay buccaneers. Now, I still don't know as of this point in time who actually is going to be available for them from a wide receiver perspective. So what what the skill players that Tom Brady is going to have to to access I? Know that OJ Howard tore his Achilles, I believe in. That last game, and so he's out for the season but you know you've got other wide receivers that are there that are key contributors that aren't quite at one hundred percent and we also know that we saw Justin Herbert have some success going deep on these guys in attacking them aggressively down the field. But what is the Chicago Bears Mindset from a coaching perspective so I think the biggest thing that. You can look forward to in terms of my take on this game is if you're analyzing it study what the Chicago bears do on first downs in the first half, you can just I mean I do it. When I'm watching these games, you can also look at statistics you can go to websites and look at like the play by play on your apps on your phone and you can see. What the total number of Ron's versus passes are But if you want if you want to chart it, you can just take a little notepad and wait for the bears Davos I down and tick off whether they ran or pass the ball and how many yards they get, and you can find out for yourself. Is this team passing the ball more than fifty percent of the time because they barely did that last week and they haven't done it year today but now they've got a quarterback. Who's more capable of doing that and one thing that we know is it's Tampa Bay buccaneers are very good with the run defense. They have the seventh best run defense in the NFL despite playing the fifth toughest schedule of opposing rushing offenses. This has been a run defense that has been very strong. Actually I'm sorry they have the second best schedule of run defense. They've been very good for years under Todd Bowles the last couple of years having strong run defense and we know that the. CHICAGO BEARS RUN offense does rank bottom ten in the NFL. So what I want to see out of the bears offense is a more aggressive pass for strategy on first downs in the first half to try to keep this game close I can tell you that this line opened with the Chicago bears catching around five points at some spots when when it reopened after last week's games and it is down to the bears catching three three and a half points so the early money is coming in. On the Chicago bears with their defense to try to help slow down the Tampa Bay buccaneers offense, I did mention that the Chicago bears have played very easy offenses. Today.

"So it's another week where Cam Fleming has a very, very difficult match up to deal with. But if he's not fully healthy, he'll be a little bit slower. You probably won't be as productive that key key matchup that needs to be discussed here is Fleming versus Khalil. Mack yeah absolutely, you know fortunately for Fleming like you said Khalil Mack is not TJ wide. He can be when he's healthy but is not healthy right now we don't know just how beat up that Ne- was. We don't know how much of a toll week one put on his knee. You know he's going to do everything. He can to be as close to a hundred percent as he can be for this game because that's just the kind of. Player, that Khalil Mack is now hopefully, he is still injured enough yet. He's he doesn't have that. Ridiculous explosiveness we have come to expect from his game that Fleming won't be caught flat-footed nearly as often. You also have to bring up with strengths their secondary they have one of the best ball hawking turnover creating safeties in the NFL with Jackson. And also, Kyle Fuller very, very good corner and behind him buster screen those three guys are playmakers. They're very, very good defensive backs Eddie Jackson especially. If you think you might have a guy open eighty. Jackson is the type of player that will find a way to make a play on the football Daniel Jones threw two interceptions last week one of them because of a freak play the other one because of a dumb decision. If if Daniel Jones makes dumb decisions Eddie Jackson. Is the type of player that will make them pay a little bit similar to how we talked about Meka Fitz Patrick being able to make Daniel Jones pay for his mistakes Fitzpatrick didn't end up picking off Daniel Jones but at the same level of concern has to be engaged Jones head for this upcoming game yet. Is incredibly opportunistic those play towards the end of the bears game against the Lions where I blew kyle fuller broke up a pass. And any Jackson came down with the interception fuller is still a good cornerback buster screen is still a good cornerback. We should probably also. Be Aware of. The bear. Second Round Pick Jalen Johnson out of. UTAH. He is. He has. has good size good athleticism and yet he didn't get picked on like you would expect a rookie to. He was in good coverage. He came up with I believe six tackles with rookie. There isn't that tape on them. So you don't quite know what their tendencies will be especially in a defense you've never really seen them in. So you have to at least be prepared for him to. Potentially make a play that Jackson can capitalize on before transitioning to weaknesses. Surprisingly, the biggest issue for this bears team in week one in this is gonNA sound. Pretty shocking to hear their run defense was terrible in week one, they allowed Adrian Peterson to have a productive day and also the Andrea Swift had had some pretty good yardages well. To give up a good day. Adrian Peterson who is well over the age of thirty playing the running back position. Is Not very good when you're supposed to be boasting a good run defense, they allowed the lions to bully them on the ground. That is something that the giants need to be paying attention to. They can't allow the same issues in week one to hinder them from running the ball if the lines were able to do well with Adrian. Peterson they should be able to do even better with Saquon? Barkley and I know that's a little bit crazy to throw out there right now but it just has to be in their mindset coming into this game. Yet I think that will be an interesting storyline to follow with this game is which unit Has the bounceback perhaps the bigger bounceback the giants are going to want to run the ball. That's that's just in their the DNA of. The Front Office the coaching staff, they want to run the ball, but they had a terrible night running the ball against the steelers but also the bears they want to stop the run their their pride had to be hurt by Adrian Peterson y'all all time freak running back that he is. You know. Despite the fact that he is approximately seventy years old by now. He still had that huge game against them so They're run defense or defensive front is going to want to have a bounceback game in run defense it will be. Interesting to see a match up between what was in week one, a very resistible force against a very movable object and which one kind of correct course or corrects course than most the odd thing with the rushing numbers from last week Adrian Peterson had six point, six yards per carry going for ninety three yards. But if you look at the other guys Carrie Johnson two point. Oh, yards per carry in the Andrea Swift two point seven. So depending on. Early success with sake wine, they could have a pretty good productive day like Adrian Peterson ad or things could get slowed down. Very, quickly, like we saw things happen against the Pittsburgh steelers the other thing that goes in line with issues defending the run it was noticeable last week that they gave up a lot of big passing plays on play action passes. Now that goes a little bit against what we talked about. On the last show that we did that these deeply passes might not work very well. Well, this week is an exception the bears got burned because they were really desperately trying to stop Adrian Peterson after allowing them to beat them him to beat them up. Early and often in the game. So they were trying to whatever they could stop them that open things up on play action. That is something that giants should also be paying attention to if they're selling out to slow down saquon Barkley the giants did make good use of play action in week one, they have gotten good at selling it. You know they might not have been run blocking particularly well, but their offensive line was really good at selling the run block for play action. Given how the steelers were really selling out to attack their offense of line that created some pretty big voids for the giants in the passing game off of play action and I think we should expect to see the bears tried to attack the giants offensive line in that same manner, which will really make it. So play action passes are going to be there the giants really just need to take advantage of that. Well. That is the full outline of everything you need to know about the Chicago bears. This weekend game is one PM ON CBS.

"And if if you were taking it for granted, and you're lazy and your position was poor. You had a coach they're calling you out and saying what kind of stances that gotta have a nice balance stance. We got three points ready to move either forward or left or right, depending upon where you're going. It all has to look the same that way the offensive lineman. Doesn't know what I'm gonna do. I don't tell them. Exactly give them. No tau. All gotta look the same. It's gotta be the same every single time. Now getting to second eight plus you get in the third day. Plus is going to be a pass. You can go ahead and pin years back and come after the quarterback, we all know the boss going be passed while they're going to throw the damn thing. So we all know that. But that's the first thing you do. So he's basically saying take nothing for granted. Whatever you thought you knew make sure you know, when you come in every single year you also this season was fantastic for the Chicago Bears. There's no guarantee next year is going to be fantastic for the Chicago Bears. So you've got to come in with the same sort of hunger. Right. You can't come in with any satisfaction of what you did last year. And you've got to reestablish a Mojo, you got to reestablish a new dynamic because what happened last year is gone. This is a new team with the new dynamic going and trying to get things done this year. So that's that's what he's talking about. There's always some regression, or at least they're normally is the takeaway thing is the one that jumps out to us more than any other. That doesn't mean they still can't be a completely dominant defense. You're probably not going to have what did they have thirty twenty eight interceptions, and they had like thirty three hundred thirty six thirty six eight fumble recoveries, you're not going to have thirty six takeaways next year. And I gave you that stat that I did the I look back the last ten seasons the team that led the league in takeaways never in any of the last ten seasons had more takeaways the next year, they all regress. That's what it shows you, right? That that that that's inevitable. Now, you could still be very good at it. You can force a lot of takeaways. You could still be a very good defense without all that. But that's the interesting mentality is taking nothing for granted. And we're starting over again next year. We didn't even win a playoff game guys. Unfortunately. So we got to go back to work and do it again. This was Chuck. Pagon how he would describe his defensive style. Wreak havoc. And be calculated want to be aggressive. Want to dictate the temple? Premium on fundamentals and techniques put a premium on the ball. Like, we talked about before taking the thing away. Nobody did it better than the bears. You know last year with thirty six twenty seven interceptions. Quarterback stopping the run getting them in third long. So we can so we can be creative, and we can be aggressive, and you know..

I hope in the future. Chicago could mean stores listening play the whole quarter. Because if you don't the spirit of the game. Thank you. Thank you. Well, the integrity of the game is on the line here too. It is it is. So I will say before we got our next contestant into speaking of integrity of the game. I did not get an answer either on which supreme court Justice. If you had to you hook up with now to explain my reasoning on our BG for a second. How did this discussion having if I might be that? That's not a question you want again. Okay. Explain my reasoning to go with Ginsberg. And I think you eliminate to me I looked at pictures of both Elena Kagan suicide marks. Don't even notice her name in this country, Ruth, Bader Ginsburg. You've got a fantastic story. They made a movie out of you hooking up with Ruth, Bader Ginsburg. That's true. Now want to see that it's hopefully not a documentary, but I feel like the notoriety that gets I think that's the direction you go. And I would love to get your thoughts on the aren't at my mouth is full with cereal, and it would be for me to talk to your hand. Full. Okay. Offer full. No. I'm looking at pictures of later Kagan right down, I'm thinking, and then I then I looked at pictures of Sonia. Soto my or and. I don't know. Again. I think you might I gotta go. There is an argument. I think John Roberts Roberts. Roberts is the best. Like, I don't know Princeton Gorsuch, and if I'm going, but might go with with Roberts on this one though, I will say the brick Cavanaugh thing is an interesting play real, right? The rumor is he's very experienced. He's fun. He likes beer. Right. He's he's the youngest one, right? He's the youngest guys. Probably you know it. All right, shake plenty. He's a basketball coach probably get chocolate. I mean, you could talk yourself into it. That might angle Ruth Bader Ginsburg compelling. That's she's a gym rat. But you saying that's how much I support him or how much I think about him that even if it was something as gruesome as a public hanging. I'd be there. The equivalent to me saying, you know, what you're saying if invited me to a curling match, I would be there because it's a quivalent there because you hate it so much, but there's not a lot of racial under.
