"All right pleased to welcome in a special edition of the Pod this week and we're going high school. We're going with the top high school players in the country and who better to talk the number one player Chet Holmgren and Paolo banchero two guys that I've seen love your games love how hard you play your very different in your games off, but I don't how many times you guys faced each other how many times you guys come up against each other? I think we played against each other at this All-Star game type thing down in Atlanta wage. Um, I don't think we played at MVP a did we know I think yeah, just All-Star Game Atlanta, but at least 100 Mbps I think our teams even played so well, how cool is it to watch each other? Cuz your games are so different but you're both the thing. I love about both of you guys is how hard you both play. I mean that that to me is something that can be taught. I think that's hold both of you that that I just respect you guys, especially the high school level for how hard you guys play but you have such different games such different body builds everything like that. How much do you guys follow? What do you like about Jets game? Yeah, I love chess game, you know just being able to be as tall he is. He's the tallest person. I mean every court and just being able to be so skinny and then being able to change shots the way you do, know, and you go into pain you see check, know, you definitely second-guess what you should go up or not. So just those two days and then here that like you said how hard you play faith in him not ever being scared for you know, every time I see him play, you know, he's talking mess. He's he's you know in the game, so that's probably my favorite thing. Check what he respect. I mean when you see Paulo and and he's big he's strong. He's athletic you're both versatile. But what is it that stands out the most? Yeah, a lot of things. He just said about me the same for him. And then like you just said the versatility of being able to especially move at his size and have have the whole package. Hi po may ipost bring outside the jump shot. Pretty much can do it all I want to know what it's been like guys. I mean for me this past summer has been brutal in a lot of ways like the rest of us off. I mean, I'm usually at the peach jam, I'm usually in Vegas I go out as much I can in the summer to see as many of you guys as I can and get to know you guys before you get out of college and in the NBA, but what is it been like for you guys not getting that opportunity to be on the circuit again in the biggest summer really of your of your high school careers? Go, I mean it was a bummer. You know before I was committed. I was looking forward to playing in front of coaches one last time and then it's just the fact that you know, I thought we had a really good team this year. I've.

Knows the answer that and right now. I think athletic directors are putting out a lot of. Guidance but since they don't know the answer. I think it's difficult for them to determine and also thinking about it depends on where you are in Alabama. It may be difference in another state. I have a hard time. Believing the governor of Alabama is going to tell the president at Auburn or Alabama not to allow fans in the stands to you. Know don't but I think that's only the fear of repercussions. I think they're going to be attacked again for a limiting individuals, freedoms and speaking of freedoms. I'm wondering if you think with the see the coaches situation Lane Kiffin Mike Leach. Is this going to affect their approach? It all because I think I saw. Mike Leach driving a Fedex truck I'm not sure about it. Thought it was fedex. UPS But you could be right. Hold on that that was. SMART ON. That was mark Richt who lost. That game wasn't Kirby Smart. It wasn't. It was that game was. Maybe fifteen. It was marks last year I believe. Okay. Warne. Okay But I probably shouldn't respond the Matt and San Antonio Buddy. He said that Lsu beat the crap out of Texas last year. He have the Texas and Texas Im's game with lsu mixed up. I think so because the the Texas game was a really tight game. Yeah, and I still watch it still of course unfortunately for Texas. That and the game was the. The Best Games they play. And we lost to what I couldn't figure out a Texas Fan. This hour all Yvonne. Held up pretty well against Lsu. and. Your get sacked nine times against Oklahoma. But. He put all play the same. You know three or four weeks later and so. He just. they game between Alabama and and Georgia was was two thousand fifteen And It was an absolute destruction that was. I think that was mark ricks final year. Okay well I got part of it, but I that probably didn't help him. I was always a Mark Rick. Fan But I do believe pervy smart upgrade. I don't think there's any doubt. That, he is th. That was also a thirty eight to ten Alabama win. in Athens and I think I think after that game. That game was in late, September early October, Reveille It was really the. I think it was a Florida gain that that was somewhat of the last straw for Mark Richt And, but but that was the beginning of the end Georgia was expected to have a really really good team. They will tell I'm what I'm really surprised that it took A. It took twenty two hours for somebody to correct me on that, but I'm glad you did. I'm very excited about what this could mean in terms of jobs and job creation, especially in rural, Iowa and rural America. He says expanding wind-power created jobs, not only on wind farms, but also in manufacturing, we can do the same thing on the energy efficiency side of the equation. Someone needs to make the installation that we're going to put into buildings to make them more efficient. The windows the citing. Saving energy can also provide much-needed cost savings for cities and towns, and for individual households. There are customers in America right now. You can basically decide okay. I'm going to try to work with these people reach out to these people and you're going to leverage the audience that they already have to help you get to where you WANNA go. That's number one. The second thing that I would do is go look at your competitors and see which one is running a continuing modifying. Their design built with is a website. That tells you if someone's using AB testing software alike optimize VW or hot jar. Crazy or anything like that and what you want to end up doing is seeing what changes are making because almost continue making changes and they're using these softwares that means tracking to make sure that the changes they're making in their design and copy is boosting sales revenue conversions. So I like doing is using way back. Machine Way. Back machine shows me the variations of their pages that they've been using and how their design and copy has evolved over time. And then what I like doing is learning from that. Because if they're using the conversion software you know that the changes that are making tend to be increasing conversions so learned from that and I should give you on what direction you should be going with your business to start getting more sales more conversions faster versus having to do all the learnings that they already did the third one. This seems like a dust. Amen but facebook Ad Library has been great. I mean to be able to see when your competitors are putting up new ads and how long they been running those ads for what type of ad copy they're using chances are if they've been running ads for a very long time there either a stupid or be. They has been working really well right. It's it's was the time it's one or the other and they're probably not number one if they've concept been spending a ton of money and so facebook our library. I like to use it. Not only look a competitor's withdrawn stations that I could potentially swipe because when you're writing copy or when you're writing at any type of advertising you ultimately looking for copy you're looking for some type of structure that you can pull from and then ultimately make it your own number four look one thing that all your competition's doing online and I don't understand. Why people do this people go on. Podcast interviews and talk about their business the revenue. What's causing it to grow failures. They had and they're spilling all their beans like one podcast that I listen to a lot on the enough is leveling up another one Nathan Laco and when you look at these podcast you know? I'm not mentioning Eric's leveling up because he's my Kohl's marketing school. It honestly is good and a lot of my competitors have been on his podcast or people in similar industries. They talk about what's working for them. What's failed and their strategies? And they're spilling their beans and a lot of them do brag. And what's cool about for me as a marketer is I'm able to learn from it and avoid their pitfalls and failures so that way I can grow faster so make sure you search for your competitors and add the word revenue at the end or podcasts at the end. And you'll find that the reveal a lot of articles or podcast episodes breaking down how they're doing on what you can learn from them to grow faster. Yeah Nathan. Lack has podcast Larry's because he forces the revenue out of them and if they don't give the revenue he basically like extrapolates to math which is pretty simple. I usually they're like. Oh yeah you know. It's roughly that anyway. I digress so number five. Last Finale Hillary to my last recommendation so last one was phased out library. But most people don't know that you can use software such as at beat and you can look at what type of ads people running on Google for example Google display network. You can look at how they're spend his trending over time. What their top. Ads are and again as a advertiser as a copywriter. Your job is to have a swipe file like a library of ad copy or adds that you like and then from there you just restructure to whatever you're trying to do because if the ad worked on you then you should be thinking about okay. Why did that work me and how it might potentially work if you basically restructured a little bit and tailored it towards your audience right

"Kyle Guts lert talking about one of the seven things. He did to double his sales in one year in this presentation at the twenty eighteen sales success summit so I'm crushing the phones left and right and I'm like she. Oh Gosh is is not working you know. I have to find more meaning. Full Way to engage people so you know mastering that. Cold call process is huge. The deal process definitely showed Goto to chet. He's a sales engineer with the organization been helps in just a variety of areas but the guy is just like a tech nerd like no other. He's a numbers. Burs guy just totally brilliant together. We work together. You know setting up that hub spot pipeline that deal process and it grew so so much over the years to where you know. We don't believe in we'll never send a quota without having zoom presentation right so that's part of that deal process says we don't want to send that quote to what we call quote abyss where you never hear back or do you just don't know what happened right so it having that deal process in being able able to march down those stages are so important. So that's pretty much you know. I think what really again helps me see success in. It gets to the top and stay. There was making sure that we have the right processes place awesome. It sounds like as as you built those processes. There's there's just a lot of evolution ocean and learning and then realizing hey when when we just send a quote without presenting it somebody. That goes nowhere in so now. There's there's a an enforced step in the process of you. Do it right every time. Totally Scott it's always changing. It's always improving. So you're exactly right

I think that's the best way to put it. That's the best way to put it. It's the worst thing he's ever done as any Tom Hanks fan longtime hang longtime Tom. Hanks Fan knows Chad. Hayes is the kind of loose puzzle piece in the whole thing of it all yet. He's the son of Tom and Rita. They have their oldest son sons. He's a rapper slash actor slash instagram user and people often he comes up sometimes and then he goes away and then he comes up then he goes away and he's currently coming up because he was at the golden goal to this parents he also like recently in the past four years got sober and had a kid so like his life was just very drama and now it's a little bit less drama. He's wingless academian more less wrapping and more acting and he sort of quieted down down. Yeah everyone could see less of him but that sort of a good thing whatever right but everyone forgot about him and then he was front and center at the Golden Globes last night. Everybody I was like. Oh yeah remember like Tom. Hanks son who's like a little bit yeow unexpectedly Tom. Hey brought the whole. They brought the whole all clan there today all the kids. They brought the kids with Tom. Tom Hanks's other kids. His his non-readers children his children. Even his non on reader children are invited. Children were on. Hank's is a Non Rita Child. It's only they're not talked about over for to their their Colin Hanks as an unruly child. Elizabeth is a Non Rita Child and Truman and chat are Rita Children. But we only read our about chat chester as we really only care about him. Jim Collins Boring Elizabeth is an actor the end. Truman is just to Truman's a little too young to have actually had his coming out party. You know we focus on the real like relevant Tom. Hanks news is aiming to say. Rita Wilson commented on this video of chat doing his thing and he said maybe the best laugh of the night crying laughing. I'm Oh boy it's like. She's so supportive. Wilson is Rita. Don't comment directly about what Chet Hayes is doing like they're really not like getting they're not really we see their pr person is like just. Don't just don't talk about it. It's fine Rita's. Night was not without drama of her own. She she needed a laugh. She tweeted around God win was. When did she tweet this around the Golden Globes the Golden Globes start at noon? La Time so this was probably around six am she between my hair and makeup is person is one hour and twenty minutes late next week hair and makeup is still not here trying to be then next week booked this person in September hair and makeup. Still not here. And if that's like not bad. She went over to instagram because the woman loves to cross platform tweeted a instagram picture of herself with like her hair. That looked slightly curly. Not Not blown out not done up and said we're I don't even have the link but like the version of those tweets again. My hair and makeup person is late. I this is about one thirty. La Time is when she tweeted and she said what you look like when your hair and makeup person for the Golden Globes as one and a half hours late even though you booked him in September will leave one hour to do hair and makeup. What the only leave him what she's like? How will I do this? One in one hour. Will you know when I saw that night. And she figured it out she looked great loved. Always pulls is through. Julianne Moore commented. Oh my God I feel you. Michelle pfeiffer commented heart. Kate Bosworth commented. Peace sign for ransom. Wow that's really funny Roseanne Arquett. What's happening Rita Wilson? And I'm not saying this about evidence like Bu- via unnamed sources but also also these tweets themselves like she's kind of a monster I mean. Come on no. I feel feel like celebrities like love her but Jesus Christ yeah I mean. The rumor mill is grinding out. News that she's a bit of a monster but that's okay not not everyone I mean especially. You're a monster. When you're married to Tom Hanks just by comparison? Let's juxtaposed these two people. You come across across as a little more monstrous whenever your husband is saying. It's true like the sacrifice you make by being married to Tom. Hanks that you come off as a monster. Because it's like Mr Rogers is why people are like you know. I Love Fred but his wife was a bitch Da. She was a baby. She was slightly mean. Once you know but I I do feel like looking at read those tweets. I'm just like what is hurt. What's your damage? He takes me how house bring them into take any Cabernet. Nobody can take any better than this guy. While they're in victory nation. Why victory for Mason you plan you play the national national groups and while he's not for me play because you win again back to your point about college football which I think will show itself in the coming year? Korea is eighteen playoff Michigan. First of all yeah. I think you'll get to an agent Michigan. This whole argument about Michigan. Where's their deficit in relation to a house? State I I don't think there is nearly as big as people are saying. And here's why kids are ah more emotional in some ways than they used to be And they don't give a crap about blowouts because they play video games every day where they get slaughtered the the player and they just go all right. Let's play after lunch and see what happens. They don't care fifty nine. Nothing does twenty seven part of the part the game damn emotional component inside a game. Michigan holds underpass. Doesn't show ashamed guy. Ah they don't jump off sides. I mean we're talking about every mistake and that can matter especially when you are playing a team like stay Eh. I I don't think there's as big apple people think there is between the top four five teams in the country and the next ten there you go and I think you'll see a house we saw. Ah last thing I'll say about the NBA. Let's just one last thing. NBA We don't know who's GonNa win. two thousand eighteen springer published his book Hinrikus Martell Asus World Map at Yale fourteen ninety-one multispectral imaging sources and influence his current project is a book about cartographic cartoons and without any further ado Let's get right into the interview about see monsters Chad Van doozer welcome to the show it's a pleasure to have you here to talk about sea monsters and apps of the Medieval and renaissance period would you start just by introducing yourself maybe talk a little bit about your background and what got you interested in maps yes well Joe first thanks for having me it's a pleasure to be here and as far as my background with maps I'd studied mathematics and English literature and ancient Greek and Latin at Berkeley and it took me a while to find maps as it were and it was at a very specific Lindau is at the Vatican museums as a tourist and they had a a manuscript of ptolemies geography on display and the manuscript. from the middle of the fifteenth century but it had a map added to it at another map painted blank pages in about fifteen thirty it had a very very interesting totally hypothetical southern continent and even though it was labeled Tara and cognitive was full of is names and also had very unusual shape and so I wanted to learn more about that where this train shape point of come from where all these places MHM sleight of come from and so that was when I got interested in maps and it was in another institution in Europe where I got into it didn't see monsters and in fact it was another manuscript of ptolemies geography I was at the National Library of Spain and they have I knew they had a manuscript of told me geography and I wanted to see it and when I opened the manuscript I saw that all of the maps had monsters on them lots and lots of monsters in fact more than any other manuscript since encountered and I I thought and these these monsters were not mentioned in the literature about this manuscript so I thought I should write an article about the monsters in Hispania script and the article kept growing and growing growing an finally colleague Catherine Smith pointed out that it would make more sense as a book and she was we'll be right well I just wanted to say I've really loved this book it's full of fascinating stuff before we get directly into the sea monsters I wonder if you might WanNa talk a little bit more generally about historical cartography what is it that you can learn about a group of people from the pass from another time and place by looking at the maps they made that you might not learn by looking at other things yes well all too often an historical maps are just used as illustrations for books for historical books for example but others as well where is in fact maps historical maps often contain historical evidence that is not preserved in other sources this be for any number of reasons but just to mention one example the earliest surviving European illustration of possum occurs on Martin Vaulting Lurs Carta Marina of fifteen sixteen and there certainly were or no doubt earlier European depictions of the apostle which was regarded as marvel because it was the first marsupials Europeans had encountered there's only were earlier depictions but as it happened they don't survive and us as it happens the earliest surviving depiction on a map and this happens look more frequently than one might suspect in a large detailed the Matt can have a little bit of a encyclopedias encyclopedic character to it and thus preserves information of both texts elaine graphical from various sources and and sometimes considering the historical evidence offered by maps Israelis essential in constructing historical argument does looking at ancient maps also give you a better idea of the kind of the texture are of the world view of ancient people like what they felt about the the broader world especially places far away from them it does ah it can be difficult to try to go from a map to what the cartography was thinking but in some cases nicking that that that jump is possible and in fact monsters play into precisely that aspect maps in the sense that it was generally thought that the most distant parts of the world were the parts filled with monsters and the fact that that's often the case on maps is very clear graphic evidence of that that thought the sort of structure of the world. I think maybe we should get into our discussion of Simone stirs just by having you describe a couple of your favorite examples so when you think of at your favorite medieval or renaissance maps with sea monsters on them what do they show and what do we know about the circumstances under which these maps were made yes one of them One of my favorite maps or in this case an atlas involving see monstrous precisely that manuscript of ptolemies geography in and the library of Spain and as is often the case we we know we we don't have textual evidence about the corporation that manuscript we don't have document that that goes through what the person who commissioned the script wanted from it vote if one looks a variety of manuscripts of told me is geography and one can do the same thing with nautical charts one begins to get the impression that in commissioning the creation of a work like this that wealthy person had many different options and many of those options related into the decoration up maps and we do have one contract for the creation of medieval maps and it does talk specifically about the decoration in even the exact number of trees that were to be painted on the map and I think we have to imagine something similar happening with sea monsters that this was an optional decorative element one could have a very plain manuscript ptolemies geography or nautical chart or one could have a more elaborately decorated can the sea monsters were one of those optional elements so when we see see Monsters Onondaga Shar or manuscript of ptolemies geography we know that the person commissioning map was someone who wanted more they wanted more more of the options available war decoration immoral manuscript so that's certainly part of what's happening with that specific manuscript of toll geography but I I I have a feeling there's more and again we don't have textual evidence to support this so it is speculation but it seems said whoever whoever was painting the monsters in The seas of that manuscript took a particularly strong interest in the subject because the varieties so remarkable it does not just sirens there's multiple different types of sirens their sirens was one on sirens with two tales sirens wearing European clothing so it really feels like in this case it was a specialist in musters paint involvement someone who had a very strong interest in the subject so what do you think creates a passion for sea monster is in that kind of period yes to a question is it the same thing that make somebody interested in horror movies today it'd be a different kind of interest I think I think it was a different interest so one of the the things that came out in my research for this book was to looking at the sea monsters on medieval maps the they often look fantastical they look like one thinks surely the cartographer just to this on the spot but in fact I was able defines the sources for a number of the C- monsters on medieval ONS maps which is to say the cartographers were not stint inventing them on the spot they were copied from sources that the cartographer would have had reason to try I like an illustrated encyclopedia so I think seamaster amount serve multiple functions in one of them definitely decoration but also there was a desire to convey information and I know that can sound a little ridiculous when when we look at some of these monsters and they do seem utterly fantastical some of the ones that seem the most fantastic were in fact copied from sources that dicara talker would've fought reliable so he asked as a decorative element but at the same time there's a desire to convey information about what is in the other a number of examples I was looking at in your book where it really does seem like that it's a specific practice Michael Warning One that comes to mind is I believe you have an example of a thirteen sixty seven nautical chart by the Mother's Pizza Ghani that shows was to ships in the North Atlantic nearer the supposed mythical of Brazil I think being attacked by dragon and a giant octopus so you could look at that and say well that just looks like maybe they're trying to live in up some blank space on the map but it comes with a warning it says while these ships are going to port dragons and octopuses care three all of the crew members off and leave the ships empty and seems to be warning people who are approaching this poor though I think the port is entirely mythical is that correct he is that is in fact a great example and it's it's worth emphasising that that image of the Flying Dragon the giant octopus attacking the ships is right near the edge of the map out in the Atlantic right near the as far out in the Atlantic as the cartographers depiction goat and I think that's an important element here that again the the aware there's a limit of knowledge is where monsters tend to be located so on that same map the cartographer does show ships regaining evidently safely in the Atlantic but closer to the European mainland there three shifts that come out of the street the Tigers knowledge we have as you say warning about monsters attacking ships is it also an important distinction that this is on a nod Nicole Chart as opposed to just two decorative map that that's a good question so very unsurprising thing about nautical charts is that the makers were really serving two very different audiences the cartographer could make an undecorated nautical chart without the the sea monster is the facilities the images of sovereigns the animals have the mountain ranges and it was that type of undecorated chart that would be it actually used in navigation so if a if a chart was decorated with all these images it would be expensive they might have used expensive pigments that type of chart would never have been taken to see for one thing the should captain couldn't have afforded it and then even if he could he wouldn't want subject it's such a valuable math to the salt air of course if you're taking charge you probably want to use it to indicate of course so the same Acres of nautical charts were on the one hand serving a practical market that is people who actually use the charts navigate and those would have been the undecorated charts and at the same time they were serving this market of nobles Nobles who who wanted the very elaborately decorated charts for collection and display as as symbols of their worldly knowledge in power and so maybe we should talk about the definition of a what what makes see Monster you know what we know that there are many natural life forms such as Wales that have commonly been interpreted as sea monsters throughout history in fact one of my favorite parts of your book was just got a a spread over a couple of pages that's the illustrations of Walruses as C. Monsters they're just they look amazing So how does that sort of that natural life form Category Blur with mythological terrors like you know like the cracking or Leviathan or the sirens yes defining defining the word monsters problematic and Nevil and renaissance authors who I to define the word disagreed so some held that a monster with something against nature in some way whereas others held that a monster was as a fearsome as it was nonetheless of a part of God's plan monsters differed in in very fundamental ways and it remains a word is difficult to define today I think and then also there's the fact that as you as you were hinting at that the the definition of monster changes over time so as you said orb throughout the Middle Ages and much of the renaissance regarded as monsters and in in that that spread the two pages you mentioned with the walruses there's a map from I believe it's sixty ninety five that at explicit identifies the Walrus as a.
Bra Fitting with Kimmay Caldwell
"Past thirteen years I have been officer I have fit people say women usually but it's people really need for a Bra Sizes Double H U N Cup I've seen a lot of naked people and I honestly the reason I stayed in it so long because it changed my life and then I realized I could change other people's lives doing stuff so for example I just like Gabriel was an actress when I was going to school I had a really bad image of my body I was like welcome to the club yeah I think that for me for me personally I don't really healthy able bodied but I was just like comparing it to like perfect looking images in magazines like airbrushed so I was so you know going through school and needed to get some money so this my friend was like Oh there's this bra shop opening up and I'll pay more than the eight dollars an hour that are making four selling shoes and she said skipped his ten and I was like I'm going to be rich this is our the American dream is alive this is also a million years ago but either way my first week is abroad oh I saw actual naked human bodies and I saw stretch marks in late just like my body and I also saw people after mastectomies in surgery I saw people pregnant I saw people after pregnancy is all supermodels I saw old women young women like everything you can imagine I was like Oh this is what bodies look like God it so I started being more thankful for my own body and you anymore four but that's a semi new development in my adult life and it comes it's party adulthood nobody tells you you're going to throw your shit out yeah we're taught to be consumed immersed and be superficial and care about material objects so you buy things and then they don't serve you anymore and you don't want to get rid of them because of guilt I don't know what but I had a woman come whatever I sort of think of people who hold onto bad ause as like a bad boyfriend so it's like you know he was he used to be real cute and super supportive yeah and now like we're just not a good fit anymore and he's a little worn out and I'm not really supportive anymore and I lost you anymore I have yet he and you're not serving you're not worth it for me anymore and I feel about bras feel about men like I want a really supportive and attractive looking Bra I wanted to support an attractive looking man so like I don't WanNa man that's like really good looking but not very supportive and he also don't want to really support Brosnan last as long as men so I think you gotta you gotTa get rid of them every once in a while because baby now we got bad bras that's what we need to do for the intro this baby now back anyway I just make everything song Well where should we start so where should we start okay you're the profession another disclaimer that like this we would this is happening live I've not I know I know nothing about your boss is what you've been wearing nothing about your I n people can you kind of take a guess just checking out my flat chest I can but we discuss that the jumps that you're wearing right now is like you know oversize of the tops look I don't know but for some double ds under your so I was Gonna say I I have a game for US play okay what and I have a new bra it's amazing size do you think I'm wearing and I know the view is at home can't see me but you can go to my site and you can see me and guests to okay a safe thirty four C Gabby doing take a guess Boura little bit I just remember what I thought was extremely off so I use myself as an example all the time this is a thirty two double D look if I was a betting woman I don't really but if I was a betting woman every in the thousands of people that I fit for bras when they come in there wearing a cup size too small in a band is too big almost every time and believe it or not because of how sister sizing works a thirty four sees the same cup size volume which was your guest as a thirty two D. and so if we I was off I have I have a very sneaking suspicion that mine is Brown okay so the thing is here so what we're GonNa today I'm going to go through the war without you for civil talk about duty styles fit you anymore the good match for you still is he still like part of your life you want him in it and will also measure you and kind of see what you're starting point bra sizes with me and discuss what the heck that even means for the viewers readers list listeners hey yeah baby for all three for you people listening to us right now I'll give you some information like how you can find your own and then I don't have any new bras for you try and because I didn't know what size rights but we were going have you would be in information we go we go to macy's or something and then I try them on look at me and poke me and Chet yeah well get real fussy in there with you yeah basically I semi recently went through I think even this is probably after the first time you were in la I went through and got rid of and Ghassem New Bras and got some fancy like Ikea's little sectional thing so it won't be as bad as it would have been a few months ago radio there's this one bra that I wear and it does not fit me hasn't lie get it I get it listen datings hard I get it is worth only Kathy does she knows the transformative power getting a Bra that fits ditching the bad brush she gets that she knows she's been there she's a transformed woman I also like really appreciate you using the under neutral pronouns I feel like I should on that up of the top reason I was thinking women bras but you're right everyone needs and bras don't care who you are Oh they're just trying to help yeah so yes to that feeling is if you like the whole reason I even work with bras now is because this is a huge disclaimer I don't actually care era yeah whoa it's really because this part of the body is where your heart is right so if this if there's any kind of discomfort like bronchials me or shame the other two bigger to smaller copier whatever or my husband hates them or there's any confusion like what burroughs is do I even wear this I hope you at home can understand what's going on here I'm like caving because there's all this sort of shame and confusion and discomfort in lifted and understood and oh my goodness even loved and adored if you love and Adore yourself like heart

Some towns have had to change their zoning laws laws so amish people can bring things like horses along with them. Rachel McDevitt of member station W. I t. f. has a story kids. There feeding chickens and goats outside of busy bees farm market in Lancaster county a Little Open Air Red Barn traditional amish farm stand stocked with fresh produce soft pretzels and handmade crafts every few minutes a horse and buggy passes by Kissel ESPINEL is visiting reading from New York City with her parents had just really fascinated dommage community and how they live my parents grew up in a farm obviously wait different from this but very very similar vibe but most amish people in Lancaster County are no longer working on farms. The price of farmland has risen from about eight thousand dollars an Acre acre a few decades ago to twenty thousand dollars today and fewer and fewer amish farming the majority were outside the home in businesses and construction and so they're moving into towns Strasburg Township Supervisor Michael Weaver is driving a black jeep wrangler on whiny back roads past farms and small clusters of homes spaced well apart. This is a prime example right here. He stops outside one fairly modest beige ranch house with what appears to be a large garage or a small barn. It's a carriage house with room for two horses and a buggy plot of ground butts no more than a half. Acre it used to be needed one acre of land per horse to keep the animal on your property but township zoning board was getting inundated with requests for exceptions from Amish moving onto smaller lots so the supervisors voted to allow up to two horses for the purpose of transportation to be kept on a half Acre Weaver says the rule change was made as a compromise between the Amish and who they call the English or non Amish. I have seen a cultural clash between between the Amish community and the English the religious group nearly doubles in size every two decades and it's starting to feel a little crowded in Lancaster county where Amish are about seven percent of the population to chat lap who has amish changes in township rules aren't enough to help his people continue. Can you their lifestyle. There's just so much more late. The focus is on on okay now. We did half Acre for two horses good for you. It's not gonNA last long. As my point lap describes himself as a mad visionary he got his real estate agents license several Oh years ago and he's been helping families move out of Lancaster County as they look for more space and affordable farmland now. He's actively scouting neighboring counties for new settlements. Let's and finding people interested in moving. He says it's a matter of identity. He wants to see more of his people moving to protect their faith and culture from the mainstream name. That influence comes back into the period. You can't change that but many are tied to the land. A local amish man says though he's had family members move. He's never considered leaving. We're not naming him because most amish don't allow recordings of themselves or religious reasons. This man fears backlash clash from his community if they knew he had allowed it as he sits at the end of his driveway his big white farmhouse just out of view. He says his ancestors have been in the county thiessen eighteen hundred he started this farm in nineteen seventy five richer here. Our ancestors are buried here. We feel attached this. It's part of our heritage but the realtor. Talking Tech with Richard Smith
"Tech today with my all time favorite guitar player. Richard Smith to just happens to be in California and really interesting guy because he travels seventy percent of the time and believe it or not have guitar will travel in his car from Nashville, and I'm talking to now in California. And the big question is how does one live with technology in the car? And I think it's called an iphone six fund six or whatever the latest one. I've gone. I find six I means everything only I can pretty much do everything on that. There's a certain there's a few things that having a laptop is is beneficial. I can pretty much do everything including Eddie, my website for the most. Adding certain photographs and send things make it a little easier on the laptop but seven probably seventy percent, sixty seventy or eighty percent of the stuff. I can do there's no laptop in your car. There is one in the back of my guitar case. Most of the time. Yeah. But there's not. Yeah. Yeah. That's always laptop in my car. It's too cumbersome to be traveling. Yeah, I find it so easy to do everything on while you're going down the road while my wife is driving not one I'm driving when she's with me. I can work in the cost. She's not, you know, it's just a heavy just playing YouTube on going through the the motion going through the motions of YouTube or I've got music on it. And so it just makes life easy. I've also go XM serious as well. That's that's a must for the car. You realize that I think so. Yeah, I mean, but sometimes I just don't want to hear anything sometimes. I just want to think my own stuff. What a think for myself instead of listening to somebody else coast. The news list of all of the news channels. Gotta gotta listen to all sides of all of that. And let's paint a picture for people because you're in California right now, you'll be leaving here and driving to Utah, New Mexico and Colorado to give gigs. Okay. So you really are the guy in the car what kind of car is this. We have a Toyota RAV four an icy drove out. I started in Nashville we played the Jerry re tribute show on September fifth went up the car. It's you your tar amp iphone six fund San. And and Mike's sim Mike, see, I may be a PI system. If I think I'm going to need it. Suitcase full of clothes cigar box. Those times off to the gate when you just want to just relax and may be has ago. If that's you'll think handle your bookings on the iphone six everything is done by Email for much. Yeah. Everything done by Email of everyone's oh it pretty much everyone's number eight mile or messenger Facebook messenger. I always a little people on social media that just. It's just so it's such a great time. It's such a great time. Every basically if people know you to the whole house concert thing is a big thing. These days is a lot of people doing that. You didn't have to be venue. You just need a roof and some power, and you do a lot of you do a lot of house concerts. I would say maybe forty percent of the gigs. I mean, I'm doing music shops smoke theaters festivals house, concerts. Workshops like this. Go f- clubs functions on it's just knowing. It's no in people, the the mortgage, you do the more people that know, you the more people, you know, in a certain area where you can just say, hey, any chance of a gig on this date. And if that person count, do you call someone else, the more people, you know, the more full your calendar becomes and then you can be the only reason I'm not working all the time is because I've got dogs at home. I'd never see them on. My wife is on on the road with me some of the time. I'd never say Hillary the so it's you just have to make a balance, and I've got a studio back in Nashville as well fifteen years ago when you were making the drive in driving all over the country compare what it's like today with keeping in touch with you versus what it was like back that didn't have a web. So you just have to know you had to know people you had to send out packages of with physical product and physical print. Just you don't need any of that stuff. These days not need any physical stuff. It's it's information that sent and then people could see you on YouTube, Facebook, all kinds of social media. It's just a much easier a much more independent world. The I think there are a lot more independent more independent artists than ever before. They don't even need independent labels fail. The label that just going to people like disk makers imprinting up CDs or even doing that. Just even those that that's outdated. These days people are just doing everything online. Downloads youtube. I mean, it's you need anything. You just need to know people in one gig leads to another to describe yourself. Now, I'm I guess I come from the Chet Atkins. Jerry Reed mull Travis and then kind of studied went down the Django Reinhardt off a little bit of what Brent's doing Oviously a big influence, the bluegrass guys. I'll I'll play Joplin rags skull Jobling, piano, rags on the guitar a place embark, and I'll play some standards. I gave some Beatles some Beatles and some Sousa marches, and you know, throw a little bit of fun comedy sewn. Then a little bit of blue. I try to mix it up anything from Mozart and Chopin to to the Beatles to two old southern fiddle tunes. Tell everybody had to hear you and see you on YouTube. Oh, they got you just such Richard Smith guitar, and I should come up check this. There's two or three Richard Smith's, make sure it's the right me by by going to Richard Smith music dot com to start with there'll be pages of maize, you know, which one it is on YouTube, and I've got the coast that will have got the YouTube channel WWW dot YouTube dot com slash Richard Smith music
Police decrypt 258000 messages after breaking pricey IronChat crypto app
"Police in the Netherlands claimed have decrypted more than two hundred fifty eight thousand messages sent using the app iron chat, which is an end to end encrypted chat service. In fact, the two men who ran blackbox security who operated iron shed have been arrested on charges of money laundering. Please have taken down the server used to send messages they've also taken down the website server, those might be the same servers. But they've they're both off line. It's an unknown. How the police were able to read the messages, but the best guesses involves some kind of weakness in how the iron chat app handled encryption the Netherlands police are not claiming to have broken. The encryption an article published by Dutch public broadcaster NAS detailed several weaknesses in iron chat, like easy to miss notifications of a change in key, which could be an indication of an attempted man in the middle attack or failure to check if the server sending the messages is the correct ones he could spoof things. So Dutch police might have used any number of methods to trick themselves into being able to get the messages without breaking the. Decryption iron Chet claimed to be a choice of Edward Snowden. Although that is not verified is something. They just put up on their website.
