She's gonna jump in a little bit and join us if you ever have questions about the the comments at mynorthwest dot com because they're always pleasant. Nice to read very well thought out you can Texas at nine eight nine seven three let's start here. There was a lots of arrests on stone day yesterday and a little bit of a bump up on this. So sooner day what they was still today was Sunday or Saturday that sooner day for twenty Saturday Saturday. Okay. So still today was Easter. And then this is Monday. Thank you very much. So almost three dozen drivers arrested on Saturday for impaired driving to be fair. We don't know if that was because they were stoned. They were drinking the alcohol trooper Chelsea Hodgson said one driver was honest when he was pulled over on the Olympic peninsula. He was arrested at around four twenty on four twenty heated. But into the trooper that he allegedly have had marijuana about an hour prior to the traffic stop. Is that an admission you make right off the bat decided to get stoned at three twenty hoping to get Bulbul at four twenty. Is that an admission you wanna make I know the police they kind of appreciate the truth. When people get pulled over. But is that we didn't expect when we started promoting stone today that people would drive or go out in their beaten increase in this stuff. Now, it's not an increase. It's just your polling them over now. And you are saying they are intoxicated. And it is marijuana. It's said they saw a bump in this. I thought they said that they saw an increase see the totals are slightly up from the ten arrests made last year so slightly up maybe not indicative of a trend, but we're not expecting this. I think we're promoting an intoxicant. That's all when we name a day after an intoxicant. I mean, you know, Saint Patrick's Day would thinking why? Yeah. New our right? Those days are Valentine's Day bottles of wine. And you know, and yeah, we yeah. We do promote these sort of things from time to time. And I think most the time when we talk about it. We say have your fun. Don't drive can you please stop adding context things and and and messing with my -bility to just divide the audiences. I try to create some division in the audience, Mike and you come in with his beautiful context. And you come down to switch your mouth plan to addition to the audience rather than division within the got it. I like that. Washington state patrol, especially especially the credit when they ran a whole campaign the week leading up to it saying, we know, hey, if you are going to partake in this holiday, you're going to have a good time similar to what we do see New Year's Eve it's going to be an enforcement patrol. We know you are going to be trying to go out on the street. Don't do it. It's dump stay home. So speaking of enforcement. There's some crazy crazy things airlines are doing in one of them is the weight limit on your bag. I get it. They've got to be able to predict what's you know, what's going to cost them for fuel. What did we talk about last week there surreptitiously wanting the way customers a couple of different companies are see if they can put him pressure sensor bads on where you drop off your bags? So they could way use. And then they can know if they need x amount of fuel or not. Yeah. And then we were talking about getting into the airports, and that's what we got into the conversation about wrestling and being able to gain twelve pounds back pretty quick. Terrible advice. Two people go. I didn't. I didn't say do that that I didn't say that. I said back in the day before there was sanity in the wrestling world. That's what we used to do a woman in the UK. Well, she's okay. Wait a minute. She's from Manchester, the affair story, we know about Manchester. Her name is Natalie win, she decided to wear everything she owned. Oh, yeah. I've seen this before not seat it personally. I really hope. So if you're planning on going seatac anytime soon, let me know when you're gonna go. So she's in the line. Did you read the number thing she's wearing seven dresses. Two pairs of shoes. Two pairs of shorts skirt and a cardigan standing in line in security. How do you wear? I in spirit air, we don't really fly spirit air as much as you are contained in spirit air. No. She was see a Thomas. Cook airlines flight that set famous famous Thomas Cook airlines question about the two pairs of shoes. That's what I was asking about. How do you wear two pairs of shoes? Exactly. This whole story wasn't explained terribly. Well, far as I was concerned. In addition to the fact that that she said she was boiling. So that would I've assuming that means she's sweating like crazy at least in the bottom two layers. Cliven what are you gaining here? What was that? What was that baggage fee after all fifty dollars yet? No, I I should've taken the FIA there that didn't occur to me. How much it was? But you're right. I was on. It was sixty five dollars for a bad sixty five bucks. People pay that. Oh, yeah. Why waited on the tarmac because one guy that other guy in his party couldn't get on the plane because he didn't have the sixty five dollars cash to pay for the bag and his bag was too big to carry on. It was a whole thing. And then finally a woman the front goes why are we waiting because you can't plan yet off the play? So this lady the person with the two shoes the seven dresses. What else it say of know, what they let her do take her bag through empty, and then put pack the stuff back in the bag. So she gets on the plane, and then she's peeling off the close at what she's boiled were strip tease ever. Worst..

"Make sure you're listening to the entire top five at five further. Details coming near the end of the hour. So we're number one. Ron and don's top five. Number one. I'll admit as we were prepping the show today or really any day. Here in Seattle. I didn't expect us to be talking about a tornado. But we are because tornado rolled through Kitsap county today. Clipping orchard, ripping the roof off a home tearing down trees, it's really pretty striking. When you see? Some of the visual visual images that go with Stacey. It is a legitimate damage done following a tornado something you would expect to see in Oklahoma or somewhere in the middle of the country. And instead you're seeing it not too far from Seattle and port orchard. Yeah. We were just talking about the use of the word clipping here being pretty like a mundane way to explain what it looks like when you look at the damage if that was your home. It didn't get clipped your roof is off of your home. That's your home. Your home has been destroyed by tornado. And Heather this is not common. No, it is not five to eight homes possibly damaged right now. Fire crews are really trying to assess the damage they're going door to door in south port orchard that was the area. Hardest hit they wanna make sure everybody's okay right now. The priority is people. So once we can be confident that we've checked every house every nook and cranny to make sure everybody's okay, then we can worry about damage to buildings because at the end of the day. Those can be fixed. People are more important right now. Yes. State patrol trooper trooper Chelsea Hodgson says a whole bunch of folks have come together in one of those hard hit neighborhoods to help right now. dR can I can hear chainsaw. So we have folks that are here. Trying to cut the trees in the all of that that is blocking the roadway with your PD out here. Trying to work on the wines and get them out of the road and be get power back to the area. We do have power restored to the schools for the students who are still there waiting for their parents to pick them up, and they have school administrators there to make sure everyone is being looked after you know, this area has been hammered by storm after a winter storm said they're spread a bit thin, but they're doing. Okay. You always try to plan for these things. But you know, you you gotta do the best. You can we're just trying to make sure we can get everybody that's involved. We don't want somebody who's injured or anything like that not to have contact or be overlooked. Like, I said we got boots on the ground going door to door making. Sure, everybody's okay. And so far, this is great news. No injuries reported. But as we were talking about earlier some of the damage looks just so violent it does tariff. I it's again, not what you would expect to see here in the in this area. You know, power lines down gas lines being checked for leaks. No injuries. As you mentioned. The epicenter was near the intersection of Bethel road, south east and southeast salmon berry road just outside of port orchard a few blocks away from a WalMart supercenters. If you know that area, you may know that area you mentioned the word warning. There's no warning system set up. I mean, we don't have like a tortoise, this, isn't Missouri. Yeah. The really, and these are so small what we have here, generally. There was no warning. There was no way to tell that this was coming in. It was such a small cell, and it just hit sort of hit the right way at the right time to cause a twister. Was it? Just so quick. Like it just arrived. So quickly or doubt. Morgan Palmer are a smeeting allergists over a Cairo seventy said look this just kind of came out of the blue occasionally, especially with those bigger significant cells that hit. The midwest. They can say, hey heads up. This is happening. I was in Joplin after the huge huge tornado many years ago. And they were calling us all night saying, hey, there's another sister coming in get down in the basement in this case, no warrant well. They know the conditions right in studying tornadoes forever in the mid west and across the south. They know when a tornado or at least not necessarily when and where it's gonna strike, but where the conditions are going to be right. Yeah. Today, they were not expecting any tornado activity. Completely catches them by surprise. Look some of that is the way weather can change quickly in north west. That is not like it is in the midwest. Where over the course of the day, you can sort of predict how is a it's really muggy. And then all of a sudden that night thunderstorms. Come like, you've got a pretty good sense. When you're in that part of the of the country, what weather is going to look like even in the summer in the northeast muggy day. You know, it's often gonna get cooled off at night with some kind of a big thunderstorm. The smell like that here where the weather can change twelve times in a couple of hours. Makes it tricky to certainly there's nobody who can tell you. Hey. This is on the way to you. When you talk to your beat urologist friends. They'll talk about how our weather is meteorologist Frank. We are very out here. Sports. We hang out exclusively with meteorologist whack meterologist fans. But would they will tell you? We're very terrain driven out here. No. At least a little all right with that. Thank you. How there will be checking this throughout the afternoon and keeping you guys updated as we get more information in.
