Obviously, a pretty crazy off season for the warriors. They lose some key members of the title team, namely auto Porter, Gary Payton the second. It's going to be a big season for the young guys, and then we have this draymond green Jordan pool incident. Let's just get into, I think, the big question on everyone's minds, headed into this season for the warriors. I think they're right up there in terms of being tidal favorites. They're going to be a championship contender, but is this the last season we see Steph clay and draymond as a trio. Howard, I know you've spent some time in the bay. The sauce is in there to start with you. What do you think the chances are? This is the last ride for that trio. Just got back from the Bay Area. And look, there's a natural curiosity here. If draymond had never punched Jordan Poole and then had the video leak and everything else that's happened in the last ten days, we'd still be talking about the fact that draymond's 33 in March and could be a free agent next summer and clay is 33 in February and Steph is 35 in March. Like these things are happening regardless of any other controversy regardless of chemistry regardless of whatever. "And whether physically, it's true or not mentally. I don't think that there's any dispute that when he's on the floor, he's the smartest basketball player on either team. And when you've got that, and you've got a young team, I think that helps get guys up to speed quicker. I think that I mean, we've seen a world of difference in the last two games really against Portland on Friday night wasn't a great indicator. But what we've seen now with frame on in the rotation, starting iron itself out is that his ability to direct traffic on defense and on offense to control the ball at the top of the key to help the flow of things. Warriors' plan aims to allow 50% fan capacity

Think what I think What is so interesting about this one is First of all, you know, we should We should We're you know, we should point out to everyone that The state of health. Weight is not allow anything like this right now. So this is a plan that has been submitted to the city and the county in California. I think the Warriors have already done a lot of work in terms of Explaining the science and proving the science to the public health officials and to the politicians were going to make the final call on this. It's not great timing. If you think about it right now we just have a press conference from the mayor's office where they were like Yeah, we're gonna have to start rolling things that we've seen the incidence of coronavirus spike this week. I think next week we're going to see even more roll back. This is what's happening across the country that is somewhat inevitable. We talking about the colder weather people being indoors more. Um, but, you know, I think you just kind of have to understand the math here right? And what the actual game changing part of this planet, which is We're talking about this is this is the part that I actually think is the most important when we're talking about, Okay, we have to close indoor guiding, or we have to close occupancy in a gym. Those types of rollbacks for seeing that is based off of The what's called the incidents of like a new cases per 100,000. Okay, right now in the bay Area that 9.9 per day. Okay, um, that that's 9.9 cases. Per 100,000. It's growing. But that's also based on this idea that you don't know amongst the people who are coming into your indoor restaurants or indoor gym or indoor space. How many of them are positive because you're not doing any testing. But if you're doing testing You have a different you have a different knowledge about who's actually in your space, right? If you test everyone who walks through that door, you're only vulnerability is the accuracy and sensitivity of the test. Correct. You understand everybody. Obviously we're well aware of that. Yes. Okay. Now the accuracy and sensitivity is a really big deal because most of the rapid tests that you see them like the infamous White House Rose Garden Super spreader event, which we have You know what you have. People continue to test positive for and then again on election night. They're using a rapid test that is in an urgent that based test Now people lies start to glaze over when you start to explain the difference here, But I'll just Do it in terms of the antigens that based test It couldn't have between 30 and 50% of infected people. It's not that accurate, okay, it'll generally effective, you know, but it's not. It's like it's better than nothing. And it definitely has some uses if you're using it. Let's say at school or or in a college where you're testing the same people every single day. So every single time you test somebody that gives a better chance. You're gonna catch it right, especially Because people generally don't become infectious with Cove it and tell day three or day four of infection. So let's say you were you caught it. It didn't catch you on day one. It didn't catch one day to It didn't catch you on day three because the energon test doesn't catch it before Day four, Okay? But my day 56 or seven it should catch you one of those days of your testing every day. The PCR based test which the Warriors are talking about, that's a rapid test. It's 15 minutes. Shallow nasal swab. I think that's important for people to understand Shallow like booger level, Okay, Like, like, you know. Yeah, I think about touching very descriptive brain booger level. Okay, levels go down. Bacon burger level, Okay, And this test is 99% accurate. There's only three companies who have earned emergency FDA authorization to make these tests. Okay, One of them's in the Bay Area of Bisbee. Started by a Stanford grad. Let's claim that some Stan forgot myself, then the other tours to the palace for yet they're the one called Q Health and Mesa by a text. They just started making these things this summer and this fall, so that's how like when you see Saturday Night live, that's what senator lives is using. They're using that kind of testing. Plus, they're wearing masks. Those tests generally caused 152 $100 a test. Okay like that very expensive to do on a large scale. You could do it at small venues and like I was reading it three. You're really interesting. New York Times story about this. And, uh, it was August when the first started to get get approved. They were calling that this is this is the new velvet ropes. Rapid PCR test of the new velvet rope like if you wanna have a gathering, If you want to have an event, you've seen this like in small parties. Small gathering. And even when you do those rapid PCR test, you should still wear a mask. Some people some places hasn't like they had a doctor featured in that New York Times story. I saw Charging $500 a test for partygoers at the hands of in the Hamptons. Okay, This is what the Warriors are talking about doing on a scale where 50% capacity at Chase Center.

And I'm still pretty skeptical that they can pull this off because as of yesterday or maybe even the day before that, I believe they just rolled back. Lot of openings that we were doing here in the city of San Francisco. Situation is not getting better. Getting worse. We're not going to get into the nitty gritty of that. Because that is something I'm not fully qualified to do, Nor probably are you unless you are. George Rutherford, Dr Jordan Rutherford Police feel free to call in Anyway, KNBR. Warriors want to get 50% capacity. At Chez Center. And here's How Joe Lake up who, by the way Bio tech billionaire public health. Degree from U C. L A nose a little bit about. This has a little bit of expertise in this area. I wouldn't say he's epidemiologists or anything like that. I wouldn't put him in charge of the Coronavirus task force. Or anything like that, but certainly more qualified than myself. To figure out how to get 50% capacity. At Chase Center. Now bear with me hear it does get a little In the weeds. But when we're talking about this, we need to be specific about what the hell's going on. This information is important, even if it is a little dense. I'll do my best here but bear with me. The plan is Lakers going to spend $30 million Which you might say That's chump change. That's an Andrew Wiggins. The test every fan employees and player Media to be determined. I would imagine that he's not going to spend the money on us Can't really blame him. Of course, you will have masks and you will have distancing. But the plan is they're going to use a rapid PCR test. So the PCR test that's the deep one right where they get real up in the nose. Those were supposed to be about 99% accurate Now, Joe Lake Up, says he's gotta read. He's got a He's got a guy. He's got a plug. You can get him rapid PCR tests. That means 20 minutes or so you could get an answer, as opposed to what we saw with Major League baseball, where it's 24 hours later, which worked out great at the end of the World Series. I mean bang up job. Think about the amount of times that baseball had a problem this year because of the delay. We're going from 24 hours to 20 minutes. And you might go. We already have rapid testing like that, Peter, we do. There. Auntie Gin tests. Now this is this is the difference. The PCR is the 99% 1. So that's finding any kind of the virus. In your nose. Going up in there finding some of the virus. And then through technology being able to figure out, you know. If you have it or not, If you can't find it after the amplifying, amplifying, amplifying, amplify you don't have it. You got a little bit it. The anti Jin tests are different. They're looking for something that is bound. To the virus. Basically, you have to be shedding the virus in order for the anti Jin test to succeed. Now, those tests are very fast. Take like 10 15 minutes, right? You could get a result. If you're shedding the virus, you probably are showing some symptoms. And so it's estimated. But there is a 30 to 50% miss rate. With these rapid auntie gin tests. Which at a certain point you're like, Why are we bothering with him? Why are we spending all this money? The PCR is the way to go to believe to be 99% accurate. If we could have a situation where the PCR test He's going as fast as the anti gene tests. I don't know about you. But 99% is a lot better than 50% or even 70% on its best day. The Joe Lake up once rapid PCR tests for every fan player and employees. On day of game. Now. I don't know what it's not like You could put everybody in a room in test. Um, just sit around. Mean Chase Center has a great filtration from everything I heard. I heard that well before you know, we really cared about filtration because that was something I cared about him. Big fan, big fan of ventilation. I think they can change out. The air and Chase Center four times an hour like change out the entirety of the air, which seems like a pretty good thing to do. You could also have nothing but outside air coming in. Really let it flow. And I say that would be a good plan. But these rapid PCR tests are the difference. And then George Rutherford.
