"I was in a restaurant the other day and one of the desserts, and it was a fairly nice restaurant. One of the desserts was some form of s'mores. And I thought, can't you people do something other than what we ate at a campfire? You know what I mean? They're trying to be clever by doing a throwback retro thing. And then making it fancier. I've read a little thing about a restaurant that did a deconstructed s'mores for dessert and basically here's what it was. Instead of a Graham cracker, a toasted marshmallow and a piece of chocolate, you got this little ramekin of crumbs. No, I'm not kidding. A little ramekin of crumbs. A shot glass of some really overpriced cocoa drink. And the chef had spun a marshmallow out of, I don't know, hopes and dreams. And it arrived on the plate and here's what you had to do. You were to pick up the marshmallow dip it in the crumb, stuff it in your mouth and shoot down the chocolate. And it was kind of. Yeah, no. Don't you just want a s'more? You know what? Just hearing the waiter go on and on about what chef is doing with it. Chef makes his own marshmallows. Using heirloom duck eggs. The egg whites are coddled in the pocket of the chef's kitchen pants. For approximately 16 minutes before being emulsified in a precious antique earthenware bowl using natural unrefined raw sugar. From chef's pants to your mouth. Oh my God, just bring me a donut. Let's be done with it. It's bobbing shade. It's the best bobbin chair. That's the best. I love you, Bobby. Oh, thank you so much. Leave us a talk. Talk back with the free bob and cherry app. What is the most offensive television show of all time? Okay, so now we are we staying away from premium cable. Are we talking about the big three networks? We're talking about four networks. So ABC NBC CBS Fox. And Fox. Is it married with children? That is on there. That is number, let's see. One, two, three, four, 5. Married with children is number 5. I'm going to start with number one. Okay. And then we'll go down the list here. The number one, most offensive TV show of all time is South Park. Yeah. I didn't get it. I didn't think that was going to be a but that's what it is. How could it not be? Yeah. But that was on the big four networks. It was on Fox, right? No. No. What was it on? Comedy Central. A Comedy Central. Well, I guess they went beyond those four. Yeah. But there's nothing here that was on HBO or anything like that. Number two, Family Guy. Yeah, I can see it. I like Family Guy. I liked it actually better than South Park. Number three, we're going in another direction here of the most offensive shows of all time. Jerry Springer. Yeah, I can say I guess it's offensive for a different reason. First of all, it's tasteless. If Jerry's offensive, what is Mari? Yeah. You know Mario. He's not even on the list. Yeah. Right after Jerry Springer, this I didn't expect to see this one on here, all in the family. I think for its time. Like you have to kind of remember. But I mean, it wasn't, it wasn't offensive for gratuitous reasons. I mean, they were very often Archie bunker was racist, and he was, you know, with a point. Former phobic, but they were making a point using him as an example. But you can see how people in the day were offended. Yeah. Right after that, married with children, like you guessed. I couldn't believe married with children when it first came out. I thought it was just absolutely the most tasteless thing I've ever seen. Looking back at it, comparing it to stuff that's out there now, it seems, I don't want to say tame, but not that big of a deal. If you would have told me when that show was a hit, hey, in the not so distant future, Al Bundy is going to play a beloved reasonable patriarch of a wealthy family in California. I would have been like nah uh. Yeah, I know it. No way. Eric Cartman was found to be the most offensive character. Followed by Archie bunker, Peter Griffin, Peter Griffin does, I mean, he's such a lovable character in one way, but then he is just he is so horrible in others, like remember we played the surfing bird episode of Family Guy and he wants to have the surfing bird song and the guy who owns the surfing bird record says, I don't want to give it up and Peter says, I'll let you sleep with my daughter, and then he points to another woman who's not his daughter. I mean, it's stuff that you just would not see coming. Right after that, offensive character Roseanne Barr. And then Al Bundy, stewie Griffin, Charlie Harper from two and a half men, and there you are. You know what I'm surprised? That's not on here. Will & Grace. My wife loves Will & Grace, but there are some. And you think beyond saucy, I would not describe or risque, not the same thing as offensive necessarily how you're looking. You know, maybe you're right. But I mean, the shock value of some of the things that they did on Will & Grace really jumped out at me funny as all get out. I mean, no two ways about it. I really funny, both the reincarnation that's on now and the original ones too. I mean, if Mary has nothing to do in the afternoon and she's just hanging around, she's done with work, whatever. She'll find Will & Grace. She will hunt for it. I mean, I guess the word offensive now means something that you just don't care for. It used to mean something else, right? It used to mean, I think this is something that actually offends you. But that's why I'm not surprised that Will & Grace is not a it's not on that list because. The shock value is not the same thing as being offended. Yeah, but although I know there are people that are very clearly and completely and fully offended and they're probably not listening to us. So we won't hear from them. But no, I'm not talking about because there's a gay two gay characters on the show. I'm just talking about like when she it was edgy. It was common. Very edgy. Yeah. Funny. But you know, I was surprised the first season that they were out that they would get away with regular network TV with that. We've all gotten just so thin skin. Like in the Seinfeld episode, where George's girlfriend died from licking the envelope and they all made fun of her and she was dead. It technically that's offensive. That's true. It's not on your list. Yeah, that's true. Technically that, so it really depends on what irritates your thin skin bad self. 'cause that's how we are now. We're the most thin skinned people on earth right now. Well, I mean, the Seinfeld show could offend you in a lot of different ways. That episode where his parents are mad at him because he took a date to see Schindler's List and they were talking during the movie or laughing during the movie. Yeah, right. That's gotta be offensive to some people. It's bob and shared. Use the talk back

"For them at first. You know right so you could be like einstein and you could have a day job that like you know. You shouldn't hate it. You should enjoy it but it doesn't need to be your dream. Dob doesn't need to be everything. The key though is that needs to leave you with enough retirement energy to pursue your many passions outside of work. You can't be like completely drained at the end of the day or like to work until like eleven. Pm at night in the you have no time for your other projects. So one example. I love talking about this example. This guy charlie harper. He's and it it guy who works for a company nine to five but then he leaves office like goes to musical theatre practice and he sings an acapella group and he builds furniture when i interview When i interviewed him he had just built a boat. So with this work model. you know. it's not for everyone. But it removes the pressure from having to monetize every new thing you become interested in just kind of like explorer passions really not have to worry about the financial side and then the fourth commonly used work model. Is i call it. The phoenix approach. And it's sort of like the mythical phoenix which lives this great life and then the ended the explode into flames and then his reborn from the ashes. So these are more sequential multi potential lights someone who builds a career in one particular field for a number of years. You know five ten fifteen years and then at a certain point they're like okay like i kind of got what they came for ready for something new and then they shift and they start a new career in a totally different area. Usually they'll explore on the side a little bit before they make that shift just to make bit smoother. Maybe they'll get some training or volunteer or just like you know. Make some connections before they make that shift but this totally something people do people and sometimes you don't notice it until you're looking back but i'll talk to someone and they'll be like yeah. I did this for ten years. And then shifted into the totally differently for ten years and then So that's another way that multi pods getting their variety and any work models can work and you can mix them and match them do one for awhile switch to another one but i find just like breaking it up into these concrete models helps both. Can i have a starting place. Yeah do you think that multi potentially experienced burn out at a rate that's like either higher or lower than than the specialists south there. I don't know. I mean. I think you need to have like healthy boundaries and creative processes and that you can have those as the multi-financial eight and you can have those specialist or you cannot so i don't know that multiplies out more. I think it's just like yeah. We need to figure out our own kind of productivity system that works for us. The typical advice might not. But i think it can be done in a healthy way. Cool one thing that. I like to ask that one thing that i like to ask one thing that i like to ask. All my guests is water two or three books or resources that that are currently inspired for you. Have you read that. Yes i listened to Nice yeah she plays music throughout the audiobook version. Two doesn't listen to the audio. That's a lovely book really inspiring part self.
