"Izzy Harrison as an unrestricted and then maybe in mccown is restricted. So I think when you look at this roster, you bring in a new coach, I would hope, because like let's be blunt, right? We know when it comes to Dallas wings, a lot of the quote unquote issues have been higher than the coach. And so for me, I'm sitting there going, okay, are they going to let LT craft her own team out of who is on this roster currently? Is she going to have the ability to say, hey, I know Charlie Collier was a top pick. I know we've invested a lot in her, but she doesn't fit my vision for this team. And we need to move her for the cap space to do or the roster spot to do. If there's going to be given that control to LT, which I without reason, right? Question if pass coaches have had that ability, that control. I would say if LT does get that control, we're going to see a lot of players on this roster to be moved and not shocking players if you watch the league, but I just think that's a team that we could see do some moves to bring in a noteworthy free agent or make a trade. Well, and I mean, just to echo what you're saying. Not just Dallas, but I mean, we have 5 franchises with coaching changes. 5 grant 5 franchises, you know, that have just undergone massive shifts in just kind of vision and direction and leadership. So, you know, you could say that about Connecticut, you can say it about LA. I mean, all eyes on that. We've been talking about LA LA to the last few years just about what could this team be? You will now, you've got the builder of all builders there. And in Kurt Miller, okay? What are these moves? What is the strategy this free agency to at least make this a competitive enough team, a playoff team again, a team with good chemistry, you know, to where you're positioning yourself trending in the right direction. We're now appealing to top free agents, not that LA is not appealing right now. I just don't know that they want to be, you know, exactly, and say, that, heyday, you know, oh, no, totally. I mean, LA is one of those teams where they're trending the right direction, but and as of now, I think LA similar to what you were saying about Seattle and stewie is like kind of the domino four free agency. For LA, I think their first signing is going to be important because you're going to have to be like, I don't want to say it's a House of Cards because that sounds bad. But it's going to be a house of focusing on getting somebody who can raise eyebrows of other players, right? So that you can go, hey, we have a lot of cap space in LA and that's fine and dandy and everyone wants to play in LA because a big market and who doesn't want to play in LA for a variety of reasons whether being a major one also obviously. But they need to sign somebody who kind of makes everyone else go, oh. So that's what we're doing here. This is what we're building around. What else? Who else are they going to add? And the more people you add that raise eyebrows, the more you return it to its higher status, even though they miss the playoffs, even though there's coaching change and realistically are they contender right now, no. You know what I mean? No, we have a lot to look forward to here in the next coming weeks. There's going to be a lot of news. A lot of changes, a lot of teams, a lot of franchise is going to look completely different. But hey, that's what this time of year is about, right? So I would imagine the next time we're on here, just you and I just kind of shooting it. There's going to be a lot of different things that have already already moved. So clearly free agency wraps up in February, but we'll start having some information and we'll start here and stuff out there on the Twitter Twitter sphere here. I would say in the next couple of weeks. So that time of year guys, let's ramp it up. Yeah, and make sure if you want to support one side or a different way other than Patreon other than buying tickets to a game, we have affiliate links for all the major places to buy your WNBA merch. So make sure to check it out. I'll put that in the show notes. Thank you as always and get excited because this free agency period is about to get crazy.

"For the New York liberty, we are offering reserved offers to hanji and marine Johannes. So I was just going to ask Alfred, did you mean to not give an offer to crystal, don't you feel? Correct. Okay. Just check. All right. Well, we can deal with that in about two hours. When we get down there. And I do just want to confirm I have this trade correct because that is the one that I don't want to forget. So that was just straight up the rights for Amanda's for Charlie Collier. Yeah, perfect. Okay. All right. So now we are simulating again to on our current calendar, not the potential calendar that is going to change now. We're going to go to January 15th, but we're eliminating the moratorium that has to go until February 1st. So everyone can negotiate and sign contracts starting right now. And that means we're going to go right to the top of the free agency pool in this year's free agency. One of the biggest stars we've ever had, I'm restricted free agency. Certainly, I think this is probably a big start we've ever had unrestricted free agency on this podcast. Brianna Stewart is an unrestricted free agent. So as Brianna Stewart's agent, I get to dictate where I want to go. So I'm going to give you, I'm going to list out the teams that I want to hear from. Seattle, obviously we love you so you're going to be last. I had a gesture of good respect. But here are the teams I want to hear from. And let me know if you're not interested in signing brands because we would like to have that on record. I want to hear from Washington. I want to hear from New York. I want to hear from Chicago. I want to hear from Las Vegas and then I want to hear from Seattle. So which one of those teams wants to start? Do you want to be Diana taurasi? No. I mean, I feel comfortable saying that if we go in the order, you just listed, you had Washington first. So I think hopefully every team is interested in Brianna Stewart, but certainly we'd be interested as well. She wanted to make a home a lot of advantages to being in Washington, especially being on these coasts to make it easier to travel. So you guys would, I mean, Jacob, if you can, I don't know how we can confirm this. But if we so this would be assuming, because I do want the supermax as well. So I'm assuming you guys are willing to try again sign and trade. I don't know how willing Seattle would be to do that, but if you could offer something of value to Seattle and they are, they've already said that they love me and they want me to be happy, so I would assume that they're going to be willing to work with a team that I want to go to to get something in return for me. If that's the case, are you guys going to you think you can maneuver a trade if I want to go to Washington? I haven't discussed that. I'd be open to it. I don't know if you want to get a list of all the possible teams first and then figure out who should negotiate. But you can only sign for the supermax if you're re signing with your previous team. So if someone likes Stuart wants a super Mac, she either has to re sign with Seattle or ask Seattle to work out a trade so that she is essentially re signing with them and then being immediately traded to the team she actually wants to go to. So if Seattle says if you want to play with the supermax, play here and that's it, then she can only get it in Seattle. Seattle would have to work with her to get it anywhere else. We might bluff that, but we're definitely not going to stick to that. Okay, so I've heard from Washington. All right, so Las Vegas, let me talk to you. I mean, Alfred. Let me give you. Let me give you something to chew on. All right. So obviously you guys want Brianna Stewart. If possible. Right? If we have a Las Vegas. Yes. I don't know. That's a long pause. That's a lot. Going to the warrior situation. What are we talking about? I would say that a few seconds to turn around their attitude or else we're moving on. I think if we're Las Vegas, we've already proven that we can beat Brianna Stewart. So I don't think we necessarily need Brianna Stewart, especially for the long term, that we have all WNBA S pieces on our team. I think New York would be more willing to test to it than I will say. The cap situation that Vegas is in having locked up all their players for so long. It would be nearly impossible to find the pieces to make that trade work that functions under the cap and is reasonable for Seattle. I will just say that. You send a lot of the money back to Seattle if they're willing to take it basically. But no, Las Vegas Las Vegas has completely disrespected Brianna Stewart. If they want to play against her, they get to play against her. We're done. We're done. We're going on. I don't want to hear from New York right now, to be honest. Chicago, I know things are sticky. And I know you have a lot of other questions to answer. But let's say you're able to get the band back together. How do you think you can fit in a little stewie into your action? Well, if stewie wants to come here, then obviously we want her. But we would have to say that that would essentially mean you're not getting the whole band back together because unless someone's going to play for the vet minimum, that's not happening in getting it under the cat. So she could come here, she could play with Courtney van der sloot, she could play with Candice Parker. I doubt she'd be playing with them and frankly because the money wouldn't work. She would be able to meet someone's replacement. But probably could fit in a suit and Parker if they want. But most of their that works. Emma can take a season off. I can take a season. You're a basket. Okay. Okay, I like this, I like this, so Chicago still in Washington, it seems a little lukewarm, but we'll see. Chicago is a lot more questions. No, no, no. Lukewarm on our part. Just thinking about it, you know, probably if Chicago get backhand this Parker in court, granted that maybe they provided a destination. And let's talk about probably the most rumored destination by me. Four grand Stuart, which would be the New York liberty, New York is willing to do whatever it takes to get Brianna Stewart into New York. I will say though that if we go with just the regular max, we wouldn't necessarily need to do a trade, but if we go for the supermax, we are definitely willing to offer Seattle some pieces since I think we do have assets that not a lot of other teams would have. I think if Brian is who it wants to come to New York, she's coming to a team that has a former teammate of hers that she want to championship with with Natasha Howard. We have the point guard of the future in Sabrina UNESCO, whereas a lot Seattle may have some difficulty, especially the jewel Lloyd factor, considering she may not resign next year. So I think that New York would definitely be a willing spot. And we also have her friend and teammate in Steph dosen. So I think studio would definitely be something she would like. So the family connections there too. She is from the state of New York, not from New York City. It's interesting the winning situation is not quite as good in New York as

"I'm allowing them to negotiate freely with other teams. And then Atlanta would also, I mean, we don't have to offer qualifying for them my take is oral, but just let it be known that we'd like to negotiate with her, even though she's on their suspended clause. Minnesota would like to offer a qualifying offer to Bridget carleton and would like to make similar overtures. Again, not a formal qualifying offer. But to Maya Moore and Cecilia zendo see me just to know that we would be interested in talking to them. If there are to us. Oh, I'm not going to give a reserve up falling off fire. On a cruise, sure. Yeah, I'm not sure we're going to get to mate because we're in those seniors as much as I would enjoy that. We all have a certain amount of time on this podcast. It's not unlimited. It might be an 8 hour podcast as it stands currently. Sabrina, tell me where you're given a qualifying offer to you. Yeah, so the Phoenix mercury are making qualifying offers to Sophie cutting ham and Shay petty. And the Los Angeles sparks are making a qualifying offer to kiana Smith, we are also trading away the rights to negotiate with Amanda zowe V to the Dallas wings for Charlie Collier. Oh. I don't know how to feel about that. We may need some analysis and just real quick from Jacob. To give compression to for that. Oh, she's not preserved. She's suspended in different ways. Yep. Yeah, that's one of the rare outside of draft rights, obviously. That's one of the rare non rostered player rights that you can trade. So technically I don't think we can complete that until February 1st, but just so everyone does. Okay. So Amanda zhao B is on the wings and former number one pick Charlie Collier. Is on the sparks. Interesting.

"From Bloomberg world headquarters, I'm Charlie pela just getting word that Charlie Collier, the head of the Fox broadcast network is leading to become the president of Roku's media division where he will oversee programming of the screaming TV company's channels. It was a down day on Wall Street volatile session, big swings, the Dow, the S&P and NES deck all declined today, treasury yield surged to multiyear highs, stocks fell after a parade of central banks, joined the Federal Reserve in boosting rates to curb scorching levels of inflation at the expense of economic growth. The S&P today down 31 a drop of 8 tenths of 1% that now today down 107 down 5 tenths of 1% actually down four tenths of 1% NASDAQ was down a 153 and dropped there of 1.4%. The two year yield 4.11% the ten year yield 3.67%, gold spot gold 1671 the outs west, Texas, enemy accrued, up 7 tenths, 1%, 83, 49 a barrel. I'm Charlie pellet, and that's a Bloomberg business flash. You're listening to Bloomberg sound on with Joe Matthew on Bloomberg radio. The contract with America was unveiled in 1994, 28 years ago. I only mention that to make you feel old. Because I just looked it up and now I feel old. The enter Kevin McCarthy almost 30 years later with the seal of approval from none other than Newt Gingrich delivering the new agenda tomorrow called the commitment to America. Let's reassemble the panel Jeannie Chan xana was with us who definitely can not remember back that far, Bloomberg politics contributor and today joined by our friend Doug high Republican strategist and former RNC communications director. Doug, you surely don't remember that either, but if you did, I wonder if you see parallels here or if Kevin McCarthy is pushing this a little too far with the messaging. No, I don't think he's pushing it too far. You have a choice in these situations of either give something of what you're for or just run against the opposite party. The temptation is often to just let the other party implode on itself, which makes some sense, but I think Republicans have opportunities here to define themselves on three issues even further. Inflation, crime, and the border. And if the conversations on those three issues, even if Republicans don't have a fully fleshed out plan on inflation, they don't, and neither does The White House, then if that's what we're talking about, Republicans are going to do well and at a time when if you look at the toss up seats that are out there, there are 31 toss up seats, which means Republicans only need to win 6 out of the 31 to win control of the House. This is a potentially a good way of doing it. Interesting point here, the difference being, though, that Newt Gingrich had essentially unanimous support from his Republican caucus, right? Can Kevin McCarthy put that together? Sure. I think that's one of the challenges is what goes into that document because and this is one of the reasons that we never had a replacement Bill when I worked in the house was everybody liked their idea best. And these were the serious legislators, a Dave camp, a Fred Upton, a Paul Ryan, you know, not some of the bomb throwers, which the house is more populated with now. Their ideas best. And that's certainly common in politics, but if you have a document that everybody can be unified on or a large majority of your party can be unified on. And Marjorie Taylor Greene is going to be there in Pittsburgh tomorrow. Also smart to take it out at D.C., then you can move forward and be unified in this. And I think that can help. So before I bring Jeannie back in though, you do expect him to be speaker. Or this conversation's pointless, right? Well, I think we need to see what the majority is. We need to see what Donald Trump does. One thing about Donald Trump and to our earlier segment is you've always got to back him up. But that doesn't mean that Donald Trump is always going to back you up. And so there are variables here, but Kevin's doing everything that he can to run through the tape. Wow. Well, that's certainly not a yes. Jeannie, is this exercise worth the time to feed the message for midterm elections? Or is this more about Kevin McCarthy? Beginning his sort of would be speakership. You know, when I heard about this, it was interesting because, you know, Kevin McCarthy seems to be, you know, thinking back to a time during which, you know, somebody like a Newt Gingrich could come out and put a plan like this forward and get that unification that you were just talking about, you know, and that's what Kevin McCarthy obviously wants to emulate. That's the kind of speaker he hopes to be. But what I'm thinking is the challenge is going to be just what you guys were just talking about. How do you keep this caucus together? I am far too young to remember the contract with America. I wish I could say that, Joe, but I actually can remember it. But let's not forget, that was in the 1990s. That was well before social media. Now you have members like Scott Perry. You have members like Lauren boebert, you have members that will go out on their own like Marjorie Taylor Greene and use social media, so

"Home, right? They go there, they hang out for a few years, and then they leave. And they're done with the leak. A lot of questions, I don't even think I have to explain. I'll let you if you want to, but Dallas, I feel like it's pretty self explanatory why they're on the volatile list. Totally. They are like the poster team for volatility. We've talked about it all through the year. Like when we were doing the weekly stocks podcast, it'd be stock up, stock down, stock up. I mean, this team for years, like with the ultimate trajectory of a team that's very unstable and like you said, ownership, a lot of question marks. It seems like there just needs to be a culture shift because, you know, so many good players have played for the wings for a little while and then wanted out. I mean, I think one thing I feel almost more confident in predicting than anything and again, it must be said that all of my predictions and inklings come without sources. So I thought you were going to say always come true. I'd like to be that confident. I was like, Owen, I'm loving it. Yes, go for it. I'm riding high off the aces finals, victory. But I would be shocked if Alicia gray and Izzy Harrison are on this team in 2023. Which means that that kind of paves the way for them to really go all in with the young talent they have on this team. There's so many players. That's always been the issue for the last handful of seasons is that, you know, certain players drafted in the first round with tons of potential just can't get enough minutes because there's simply not enough to go around. I think it's fascinating that they moved on from Vicki Johnson. She is not the problem with this team at all. If anything like she was a person who really kind of pushed this team into the playoffs. I mean, Tierra Macao deserves a ton of credit and I think that's where the most interesting decisions are going to come from the wings this off season is with the restricted free agents. Maybe in Macau and how much they value those two players and whether anyone forces their hand throwing a large offer sheet at one of them and then seeing whether Dallas is going to blink and match or let them walk. But ultimately, you know, Vicki got a lot out of this bunch and yes, is he Harrison wasn't happy with her role and I totally understand that. I wouldn't be surprised if other players had feelings about the coaching. But if you look at the results, like Vicky got that team into the playoffs, they beat the Connecticut sun in one game very definitively, like they forced a game three. They were within a pointer to it halftime. That's a good successful season from the wings, Vicki Johnson deserves a lot of credit. I'm not sure she totally got a fair shake here this year in Dallas, but ultimately it's like this team's issues go way beyond coaching and they have, you know, maybe more question marks than just about anyone other than Connecticut and we just talked about. But question marks aren't common theme. Let's keep it rolling because let's keep it rolling. I do want to just put out my grievance with you real quick. I completely disagree. Just in the sense of I agree with everything you said, I don't want to see more minutes for some of these younger players, Charlie Collier, only because I think something that's holding this team back is the fact that they didn't give vets like Izzy more minutes more time to lead this team on the court and I think that was a huge issue, but that's a whole nother episode that we can debate on. Next team because Indiana fever are our one down team. The Los Angeles sparks. Who do they have on contract for 2023? Katie Liu and Kennedy Carter for a combined 200 K basically. Neca free Asian Chrissy tolliver free agent Amanda would be suspended. Free Asian Britney Sykes free agent Jordan Canada free agent, yeah, they got Olivia and Nelson adora, ray barrel, Jasmine walker. But I'm talking about the big name players, whatever. This is a complete rebuild, right? They don't have a GM they don't have a coach. They need to bring in somebody for that. Again, this is like Dallas wings were poster child. This is a poster child in a different way in the sense of volatility because it's LA, right? You know, they're going to do some splashy higher. There's going to be some question marks in that higher, even if we love it, even if it is at least Leslie. There's still a question mark so it's Lisa Leslie, right? Because she hasn't really had that much coaching experience. And I'm using these Leslie as an example because the sparks like to do something splashy a little irregular. The question remains like, can they retain neca sounds like she wants to stay and that means Sinéad has to come with what else does that mean for the ability of this team to bring in a new GM and a coach and shape a roster and build a team? I just think you look at the sparks and like, was this past season to disappointment? Heck yeah, they put all the chips in. They said either we're going to win it all or it's going to be going down in flames. It went down in flames, but can they be the Phoenix and rise from the ashes? I just want to give a quick little aside before I get into the sparks because the sparks just make me sad to talk about sometimes. I'm like, man, what went wrong? I don't even have much to say, but I just want to do a quick little 30 seconds on Indiana just so their fans, you know, don't feel like we're shorting them here, you know, in talking about every team, but them. Yes, obviously the definitive down stock of the year kind of another wasted season in the sense that why did you go into the season with Mary Ann Stanley as coach if you were just waiting to fire her and then go with an interim who you're not bringing back. It's weird that you wouldn't start that process as soon as possible. But ultimately, you know, the fact that they are a down stock is undeniable. And yet it's like, okay, this team is going to have another great draft pick. Melissa Smith was awesome this year, queen ECMO, other rookies like really showed promise. You know, Kelsey Mitchell was one of the biggest all star snubs, whether you think she deserved a spot or not. She had another really good offensive season. This team, it's do or die now, like not in terms of competing, but in terms of finally just having a stable upward

"To a lot of wins. I think the student is going to struggle with a lot of areas, but it was pretty cool. Again, in light of last season, when no rookies got playing time whatsoever to see right now I would go out and get 36 minutes lead her team in scoring 16 points for cysts for blocks. I'm not sure who got her in our fantasy league, but you're definitely enjoying her so far. That's 8 points in fantasy on just blocks alone. That's a big pickup for them. And this is a draft where we were all kind of wondering like, is there a clear number one malicious Smith Howard are going to go one and two, but the Charlie Collier pick to Dallas two years ago doesn't feel like it's made a big impact on that franchise yet. It's nice to see a rookie go somewhere like Atlanta and immediately have an impact. Even if it didn't deliver a win right away. Right. I agree. Another rookie that's turning heads obviously Shakira Austin's performance with Washington just Sunday Night was pretty interesting. She comes in, finally kind of gets that starter role with sitting out. So she immediately is plugged in. And ends up with a double double, 13 points, ten rebounds, really strung outing there. Went 6 for 8 from the field. Really, really solid and had the best plus minus of anybody on the mystics. And this was coming against a Minnesota lynx team that starting opposite Shakira Austin is the absolute legend herself Sylvia fowls. So if you are going up in your first official start against a future Hall of Famer and one of the top, I would say probably top three or four bigs to ever play in the WNBA and you're going to drop a double double and lead your team to victory. That's a pretty good that's a pretty good day one start for secure Austin. In fact, let's stick with Washington as a team for just a moment if we could. Because the Natasha cloud, I'm.

"Speaking of just off season changes in different things, they're coaching stays stands pat and their roster really pretty much stays intact. They don't have a ton of changes that are coming onto their roster. I do think that there's one that stands out big to me. And that is the addition of tiara McAllen. I thought that when Indiana gave up Terry McAllen to Dallas, I was scratching my head. But I do think that and we'll get to Indiana, I do think the Indiana ended up doing some good things with that trade, but tiara counts the type of player that you and I and Steve and Jason all four of us have kind of just been pulling our hair out as far as how she's being utilized in the league so far. She's, I think it's her third or fourth year that she will be in the league and I'm excited to see her on this type of team where this team really does need a little bit more help at the center position. And Charlie Collier that are those big, they've played others in those same roles. You see, you've seen like Kayla Thornton and satsu Sauvignon holding down the middle a little bit. But I think Sierra counts kind of that true size center. She's 6 foot 7. Nobody else on the team is over 6 four. So she brings some size to the front court of the style swings roster. How much of an impact do you think McAllen is going to have where her competition for that true center position is a very young queer and Charlie Collier. Yeah, I think McAllen is worth a handful of wins to this team. That's a really and that's meaningful. I mean, a couple more wins gets you up to the 6th seed in the playoffs. Which especially if they can make the playoffs again this year, they don't have to deal with single elimination, which would be fun. I'd like to see more of this team in the postseason. Macau and.

"So it's a way for you to be able to freely support the coverage of women's basketball. So we do appreciate all of the Twitch love that we have over there. Let's get into this. Let's hop in and actually start talking about this draft. I'm actually going to tie each of these picks not only to the number of pick, but to the actual team. And I went a little more in depth this time as far as looking at team needs or team personalities. Or where I think that teams might be maybe they're history of players that have been successful for them as a franchise, could influence if I had a couple of two or three players that were really close. That I was looking at in a specific pick for a specific team. I went really in depth into each of the team rosters and kind of where they're at and tried to make some determinations there. But let's go ahead and get started with our number one pick that is going to go with the Washington mystics and if you would have asked me a week or two ago to have this episode, I would have switched my number one picks. But the last couple of weeks have been good to the Kentucky wildcats and to Ryan Howard in particular. Starting to turn things around here. So I think Washington is going to go with Ryan Howard for the number one overall pick. For the last two weeks, I moved nalyssa Smith up from number two up to number one. Simply because Kentucky was looking like they were struggling. Howard seemed to be still putting up some pretty good numbers, but just wasn't being it wasn't able to take over games in ways that she could and should. She had a really strong showing against South Carolina, which ended up in a 9 point loss for Kentucky. But since then, they've rattled off 5 straight W's and are looking like they are going to make the NCAA tournament, which it was looking pretty shaky there for a few weeks, but it looks like they are going to be making the tournament as long as the wheels don't totally fall off. These last few games of the season. So Ryan Howard, here's the reason why she is still my number one overall pick. And that is simply because she is a big guard that she has some really great size for a guard. That's been a really helpful element for a lot of successful guards in the WNBA. Not only that, but she is so comfortable with the ball in her hands. When she's dribbling, shooting, passing, everything she does, it just looks easy. It looks natural. And so I think that, you know, getting into a WNBA franchise working alongside with teammates that are going to be significantly better than her Kentucky teammates, I think that she's going to be really, really able to flourish as a point guard. She's got a fantastic basketball IQ. She has a nose for the ball on defense. She honestly, she's a faster version of Chelsea gray and has a better shot. That's kind of where I see that. So she's really solid there. So I've got Ryan Howard as my number one overall pick again that could easily change. It's still a razor thin margin between Howard and Melissa Smith and B but also, again, taking into consideration team need. I do think that the Washington mystics that Howard fits their roster and fits their team needs very well there. I think that being able to have Howard as kind of an incoming young generation of a guard in that in that roster is going to be a really solid move for them. They've already got quite a few big bodies and so that's why I leaned with Howard going number one as opposed to Alyssa Smith. So I bet you can't guess who is going number two overall to Indiana, Kenya. Number two, overall pick going to the Indiana fever is Melissa Smith. Melissa Smith has done absolutely everything this season to secure her as a lock for the number one number two spot. And she's currently averaging 21.2 points per game, 11, just over 11 rebounds per game as well. And she isn't like a prolific block blocker, you know, she doesn't she doesn't block a ton of shots, but she does play some really solid defense in his in positions to cause the other team, not that she gets a hand on the ball, but the way that she positions herself defensively can affect a lot of the other teams shooting and that's also why she's in place for so many defensive rebounds. She had 14 defensive rebounds just the other day against Oklahoma state. So she's a fantastic player, really excited to see what Alyssa can do in the WNBA. She actually, the way that she moves, I feel that she has a similar vibe, she's kind of like an Asia Wilson light right now. She has a she can move into space on offense. She has a real, just natural, she naturally finds herself where her teammates can get her the ball. And that helps her. She's one of the best, she's one of the most efficient scorers in all of basketball right now. She's shooting 55% from the field. And her free throw shootings looking better and better as the season progresses. She's now up to 70 7% from the line. Started out a little shakier than that. Previously, but looking really strong right now. Melissa Smith, here's the thing. Whether Smith goes to Washington or Indiana. She's going to be a mainstay in this league for a long time. I think there was a lot of question marks about the last couple top prospects going into the league last year. I don't have any question marks around Alyssa Smith. I think she's going to come in and probably be an immediate contributor to whoever decides to take her, whether that's Washington or Indiana. I don't see a circumstance where we see like we had last year with Charlie Collier and owa queer in Dallas where they both got drafted number one number two and then really didn't sniff the floor. So I don't see that being the case for either Howard or Smith here, I think that they're going to be immediate contributors and I'm excited to see what they do. There is a little bit of a gap. I feel like Smith and Howard, number one, number two, I think that's a lock at this point. I mean, even, I mean, even a major injury to either of these players, I still think they go number one number two overall. And which makes the next few picks really interesting. I've gone back and forth and there's been a lot of moving up and down for my picks like three through 12. All right. I constantly am tweaking these picks a lot more than I am my number one number two. However, my number three pick is actually someone who I've had up at number three for the majority of this season. I really, really like what I see from this player. And that is 6 foot 5 center out of old miss Shakira Austin. Shakira Austin has a WNBA ready body. She's able to not just her height, but the strength that she has, she moves really well. I like a lot from what we see from Shakira Austin. If she wants to study some film, if I were her, I would do everything I could to become Sylvia falls two..

"Going to cut them knowing that all of a sudden that cap it is just going to appear on the books in 2023. It'd be a very odd situation. So, you know, especially for a team that I guess that increases the urgency maybe to make a consolidation trade use the option of cut a couple of players use the caps base, even though they did do that with losing soda. Also setter. That seems less appealing now that those players are not options. I've not tried to say Luis's last name. So I'm pretty sure that we have to get her up on the website. We apologize. She's not. I know the human lots are changing that to a softer. That's a lot for me right now. No, I think we got pretty close, but we need to get her up on the site. So Louisa, if we were listening, we will need a call you and get your name up on the site, so people can listen to it. On her hoops outside dot com. $20 a year, best stats you're ever gonna use for women's basketball. Back to the Dallas wings. So in the consolidation trade, assuming you're not going to be able to trade Harris or ellery because they do have those big ur protected deals next year. Assets here are Charlie Collier. Chelsea Dungey, who you didn't really play last year. And is a bio Harrison. I don't think you're trading Alicia gray. And then Mariah Jefferson Cale authority. So I know I listed a bunch of names there of those who do you think is most attractive in a trade? I mean, I think all yours the most interesting from the standpoint of someone else still believes in her that she can be the player that we saw at Texas for, I guess, before the NCA tournament, then you know that number one pick still, I think has a lot of cachet. And so my original offer to Aaron is Atlanta's GM was Harrison and I think number 6 for Cheyenne Parker in my expectation was he would counter with Harrison at number four for Cheyenne Parker and I was willing to do that. He came back to me with Harrison and Charlie Collier and I eventually decided, yeah, that seems reasonable given that she didn't definitely seem to be a favorite of the wings coaching staff over the course of last season. Yeah. No, I think and well, to be fair though, it seemed like none of the rookies for our favorite. It seemed like they were just really up and down and I think Vicky Johnson was really it's a mess of a roster, not that there's not a lot of talent here, but this is kind of a mess of a roster. So I don't blame her, but yeah, I definitely think that Collier would be out there. It's just it depends on the GM. These are the situations that we on the outside can't really know what Greg bibb is feeling about potentially trading a number one pick that he made, right? Because if I was in charge, it kind of looked bad if I picked this person number one and then traded her the next season for somewhat of a muted return. I think that might be too much of a reputational cost. But I think it goes back to what we were talking about the Samuelson part of this trade is it seemed like, oh, they're giving up so much. They're giving up the number one pick. And then you see this draft in action. You're like, well, actually, I think I probably would rather have Katie Lewis than other than Michael O'Neill, perhaps anyone that was drafted in this year's draft. Yeah. I mean, I'm still big on a walk through here. I think she had some. Too. Yeah. I agree. I think she had some real flashlight. So young. Yeah. She's like what? She's just turned 20, I think. I think she just turned 20. So and that goes, and again, I'll put down the roster. Plenty of really young of young talent that could get to a point where it is where this team is really, really good. We haven't seen it yet, but we don't necessarily have to see it yet. I'm just wondering if this is a year we get a consolidation trait. Or if they just say, hey, we'll work on that next year. I think that might be where we're at him. I mean, you could have a heck of a competitive training camp if you had two first round text to the mix and just figure it out. That's what I ever coached as they want. They want a competitive training camp. Well, guess what? Year two, let's go. You're two of trying to figure out this roster. So yeah, Dallas kind of in the same spot they were last year. I do want to go move over to Las Vegas, not a team you had Markov season but you wrote about them and the rest of the Western Conference teams for ESPN McConnell alongside Michelle vocal for what we're calling this free agency primer. Yeah. Sure. Yeah, it's reasonable. All right. So Vegas is interesting because mainly because of Liz Cambridge. Angel, we talked about angel contributing free agent and talked about quantum willing to be a free agent. Asia Wilson is a restricted free agent fully expect her to come back so now becomes a decision of Liz campus and whether or not you core her. What if you were in charge? And I'm not entirely sure who's in charge in Vegas, because Becky Hammond is the head coach last GM, but the report, you know, I think that was Christina Williams who had the report that she was going to get the GM title. The press release never said she was getting the GM title. So I assume they're reporting is correct, but it was interesting that that wasn't specifically in there. I thought it was really interesting too. But I also think it's because they still need to be the GM right now because you did right now. Becky's currently in the NBA coaching with the spurs. So I think they kind of need Bill to be the GM, so I guess, I guess eventually as a transition plan in place, so I don't necessarily know who's in charge. But if it's Bill and beer, who is making the decisions mostly on his own, I think we would probably assume that he's going to core this campaign beige because that kind of goes along with his other team. And they did it last year as the others. And.

"Or email us info at win sider dot com. All right, this is where it gets a little bit different. We're moving out of the other teams we've done today. Yeah, we recorded a bunch of episodes in one day, because we're just feeling it, we're rolling through. Last episode of the day, the Dallas wings. An interesting team that is filled with young talent has their hands tied and is just in a really tricky situation where they don't have much cap space really they don't even have enough cap space to sign anyone. They don't have a roster spot even. So the question truly is, what is their situation and what are the situations that they will be facing this season as we've done for every team we're going to run down who their roster is. Mariah Jefferson, Alicia grey, Isabel Harrison, kale Thornton, saw two sobble. Bella Hillary, ty Harris, Marina mabry. Riquet goomba walle. Charlie Collier, a walk courier, Chelsea Dungey and can even pronounce that last player's name Louisa, something guys, again, her hoop stats, thank you so much for having all of these names and the amazing salary contract stuff, but you gotta come on. Give me these few players names. Rachel, why don't you pronounce this name? Because I can't reach the life of me. I still stutter. Yeah, that's German. Yeah, I don't know. I speak yet, it's not German. All right. Let's get into this. To be blunt, it's not going to be as long as an episode of some of these other teams 'cause I think it's pretty clear cut. They don't have enough cap space to really bring anyone in. In fact, they don't have enough calf space to bring anyone in. Granted, they only have four secured contracts. That's kind of where the hiccup happens. You're not paying no other team that I can think of unless some trade goes down in things move around crazy. No one wants to pay one 80 for my Jefferson. No one wants to pay one 60 for Izzy Harrison. Cale thorn at a hundred fine Alicia gray at one 64 fine. I get that, I like that. Where it really gets interesting, right? Is they can't make moves, but if they wanted to make a move, right? Everyone, and we've talked about this Rachel, in my mind, and I feel like you agree to a point. Like if this team had one or two more high level vets or an experienced vet whose won it at a high level, where they really don't have. This team could be good. A lot better than their record last year and their playoff experience last year indicates. The place where it gets really interesting is the choice that they have to make is they literally need to have a list of where they rank these potential these young players and their potential, right? They have a ton of bigs. You got is you got Kayla, you got Bella. You got Charlie in a walk. And saw too. Like where do you rank all these people because at the end of the day, there's not enough minutes in the league in the season to get enough to see all these players to truly truly understand what they can do. So on the flip side, right, that means that if they want to do something to bring in a vet or whatever, they're going to have to cut ties with one of these young prospects. And historically, the wings has had trouble, right? And that goes that falls under Greg bibb. They've had trouble moving on past these young players because for as long as I can remember, they've had these young talents, right? And this roster has been built to this young talent. So what do you do? Do you cut ties to one of these young talents who, as we've seen historically move on to success other places? Or do you just ride with it? I mean, they're pretty much stuck. I mean, what do you think, Rachel? Yeah, I mean, my initial inclination was okay, let's go get a veteran to kind of help balance this roster out a little bit, but the more you look at it, it's like, this Dallas team like anytime I saw Dallas on the schedule, like I wanted to watch him. Like, I was like, you get this there's something. This team is so fun to watch. This team is trending upward in my opinion. I mean, you know, hit a lull, but we're able to finish 7th in the league last year. And that's because I think there's been a concerted effort to build around this young talent. You know, I don't know how, you know, a year from now, these players fit together. But I almost, I almost am now switching my opinion on it and saying, I ride out with this young roster and continue to get that experience and the experiences from last year and make some tough decisions a year from now when you're looking at how or how are you going to frame this roster? Because no one's looking at Dallas as a contender this year, but I think that the natural progression has got to be okay, we want to be a top 5 team. And continue to work to be above 500 and kind of be that team that can be a massive problem for any team at any given night. It's just a matter of going through those growing pains and embracing the defensive end of the floor and all those sorts of things. So I'm excited about Dallas. There could be no changes to this roster. And I think there's still a problem. You know, so no, I agree. Yeah, I'm like part of me is like just ride out this roster. I mean, but, you know, there are so many and again, we haven't even talked about it. Do falls buy out, which is still hitting the books. That's a $111,000. That's still a huge part of Dallas and going to hinder them for making signing potentially that veteran player. But yeah, I mean, I think you got to look at questions of who are you truly going to invest in, whether it's now or whether it's next year..

"All the ESPN experts are picking you to win the title. Demanding that you win the title. Myself apparently included. Also from Dallas's standpoint. Like not a lot we could do in free agency, but just kind of trying to bring in a little more experience, become more competitive. We've put those veterans around the young core places that we have in place. Clearly, we didn't feel the Charlie Collier despite being last year's number one pick and he drafted that maybe did not prove even as strong as people thought it was going to be going in, which is saying something. So moved her in is Bill Harrison to get Cheyenne Parker and then Mariah Jefferson in this year's second first round pick to get Christy toliver. So two veteran additions to go with the young core. Okay, Aaron, do you need it to do anything before you have to go? I mean, Atlanta roster is not totally filled out, but we're basically there. You're done there. So I mean, the reality is, I think, at this point, it's just kind of there's occasional players and I apologize for the noise in the background. Occasional players that are mildly interesting, but none of them are really going to be material Atlanta on the whole we picked up some players we think are going to be bargains. But we're really just trying to kind of reset where we are and look into the future. We tried to get some of the talent that was on creating some market. But struck out. And so particularly interested to see what diamond shields could do right, she sort of most fits into our timeline probably, I think. I'm excited for getting a top pick as well as a second pick in the second round. This year and then depending on how things look, we might have a good pick again next year as well. And that is Minnesota right the key kind of wrinkle just could we brings out back? I mean, I think we're still pretty optimistic about the quality of the team. Obviously, we felt great about it despite how the playoffs went. And so it'll be intriguing to see what can happen. Obviously, we're happy for the Visa, but it's going to impact us on the court. This year, I think, depending on how optimistic you are, about a timeline bird return, perhaps we'll be back for the playoffs or not. Having with my I'm perhaps on the most cautious about that, thinking about just the childbirth process that came out of my family. So I'm definitely not counting on that, but it'd be great to have her. And then, you know, it's good to bring back at least a clear and then as well. So I mean, I feel like we're still trying to keep going with what the plan was and I think we're still talented right when I Davis to know last year. So I mean, she's not going to be the pizza Collier, but it'll be interesting to see what she could do. And we've done great in the draft in the past. So I'm going to call it practice your Italian to call up Chuck E.'s on the senior. And call Bridget off to because she's around. Yeah, yeah. Carlton writer, we were guessing that we'd bring her back down. All right guys, now it's just us. Do the league office is still here, so we can't do anything we want. I'm so Phoenix. We would like to talk with Sophie county ham and also key a nurse. I don't know if she's getting restricted offers elsewhere. So we can suspend her this season. We have a lot of money to offer her for the upcoming years. On the kid nurse front, I just don't. I don't have enough information to say. I would the thing is like brilliant Hartley also. She got hurt and she was kept on the roster and she was eventually able to play, you know? So I don't know if that's I just think it's like someone's just different for nurse. I don't think she's gonna play this year. But I'm fine to just leave that one. Out there. Yeah, the goal with Phoenix was just to basically run it back in terms of they felt like they were we felt like we were able to get to the finals and probably work in a real way from seriously competing with let's do stuff for Cunningham. Can we do that really quickly? Yeah. Okay. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Because did make her an unrestricted free agent. So that is correct. We need to do that. So let's talk to Sophie Cunningham in Vegas. All right. So we're putting Sophie Cunningham is going on the table. She did not get for some reason. Well, if you didn't get the option, then pick up her option. Correct. Sends that the previous administration. So they pick up her option now she unrestricted free agent instead of the restricted free agent that she had normally obviously she had a massive playoffs after that happened. So she is out there. So I'll let Phoenix give the first crack what your offer for Sophie Cunningham. So Sophie, we think that you are a great fit here. Obviously, you know, brought out the best and you during the playoffs last year. And we just want to run it back and we feel like this is the very best way to do it is for you to return to Phoenix. So fortunately, you are aware of our situation. We have four max is already on the books. So we can only offer you that 85 this year, but wink wink, we promise to take care of you after that. Wow, the wink wink. Can we get it protected? You need 85 protective? Yes. It's nice to pick up. You guys didn't do 6. And now I'm an unrestricted free agent. Okay, that's we can protect the 85. Okay, cool. Anybody else want to beat that? Las Vegas is prepared to offer 90,000 with the protection. 90,000 with the protection to be in Las Vegas. We need an off ball shooter. So it looks sound pretty good as more money the Washington slash clinic and have something. Washington is interested in Sophie Cunningham,.

"That seems a little high. We need to spend money, but not quite there yet. Mercedes go into New York hundreds starting standard 73% raises three year protective deal. Technically not matching. We literally can not match. That was gracious enough to allow me to find that offer. Yeah, Mercedes. Wow. I probably could have turned the screws there. A little more, right? Every single album was going up, so maybe I should have been bolder. Elizabeth also Elizabeth Williams agent needs to call Mercedes Russell. Yeah, exactly. This is a great job. I just can't go that high, even though I've got way too much money. Let's move on to diamond shields. Actually, you know, before we do that, Kevin, are you we had had a discussion? Are you ready? Oh, okay. You want to make that trade? I mean, I think that when I hear you laughing like that, but I just was talking about another trade momentarily because the Cheyenne Parker deal wasn't going to happen. But yeah, no, we'll do it. We been having conversation, right? So that deal is Cheyenne Parker versus for Isla Harrison and Charlie Collier for Dallas, right? Which and I just feel like as it lanta, you know, we given how this is played out. Like we were hoping to get to Charles and all these players. I got to refine my pitch, apparently, but and I will say what we were just compelling. But if no one's coming our way, then we probably do those painful it is switch to the future. And so as much as we value China and Parker and I think Charlie are there certainly are some questions, but I think we probably need to go accumulating more future assets at this point. As that is. And from Dallas to standpoint, it's very difficult for us to do anything in free agency. So a trade kind of made more sense is an upgrade. And we hope that Cheyenne Parker after dealing with COVID last year and giving birth is like the player we saw in Chicago, who was very good. Now, I will suppose that I have been probably derelict and my duties of GM and I have not shot around the league to see Cheyenne Parker's market value. So maybe I should give people one second here, but I think it makes sense to go forward with that trade. What was the offer again, Charlie Collier and who else? Isabel Harrison. Okay. Let's do it. Cool. Fortunately, I feel empowered as Atlanta, we're building for the future, so I'm not quite as at risk in the upcoming season and what the implications of that might be because she's in town Parker. I can't triangulate when she's coming back very Instagram page. I would say I'm not on the ground, so. I did look up that Kiki Herbert harrigan has given birth. That was part of my calculations for the storm. So congrats to her. So back to diamond shields. Right. It's honestly the best time of year byu sports fan I don't march madness. Might have something to say about that. But this is kind of like if if anybody's expecting any of my work to get done on time this week it. I mean it's coming in one morning 'cause my evening hours or otherwise occupied auto with. It's it's absolutely like sunup to sundown packed with with great. Fantastic sports coverage. I i love everything that's happening right now. We've got college. Basketball has kind of started out with their first practice. We've got wnba playoffs. We've got nfl going on college football going on baseball starting their playoffs nba basketball's into the preseason like we were hitting this really fun. Stretch right now. And i'm really excited so but none of it quite compares to the wnba playoffs. Logan let's be real. We have had a phenomenal playoffs. Up to this point and at and right now we are sitting at a two one series in both of the semi-final games are in both of the semi-final series. I should say and we're going to be breaking down a couple of games here but really quick. We wanna give a quick shout out to michaela onion where who just was announced as the wnba rookie of the year. As well as the five rookies who made wnba first team or not. I team wnba rookie. I should say all rookie team is correct area. Mcdonald's michaela onion charlie collier. dd richards and dinner evans. It was kind of interesting because like let's be completely frank. This was probably a really difficult decision to get five to two zero down five players. I don't know what you're talking about here. No no no no. No i think was rookie of the year was probably the easiest award to give this season. I that it was. It was michaela's basically start to finish but for an all rookie team. And i don't mean that. There were so many players deserving. I mean it was probably hard to find five rookies who logged enough minutes worthy of making an all rookie team Outside of just a couple of these not many of these players not many of this rookie class even saw the floor. Some players getting wave just a couple of games into the season. This was not a strong rookie class as they came in. Now we'll see you look at these names and i think three or four years down the road. We might be thinking of his rookie class as an exceptionally strong rookie class. We we very well. It just first impressions have not been great. Yeah didn't really get much of a chance to to go so now i look at those names the. Us offer already team. That i think i. i'm a big michaela fan. I think she absolutely deserves the award this year. I think you're crazy if you think otherwise. But agreed i will be zero percent shocked. In fact out almost be more surprised if someone else did emerge as the best player out of this class in the next three or four seasons. Right we're gonna when we're in season tan of wnba nation. We're gonna come back to this draft. And i think we're going to like a lot of the players that came out of it. We're just gonna. Oh it's crazy that she started there on. That team didn't get me minutes because look at what she's doing now. I could see that. I could see that being the case just overall to start with. Not i mean. Charlie collier making i or making the rookie team is fine. But but you but you put her season into pretty much any of the last ten seasons and she's not making the all rookie team. No that's that's kind of where i'm at. Selection was based on draft capital more than anything. Yeah basically. I think there was a few other. There was a few other players that had similar minutes and results. That but charlie maybe it was. They were kind of like well. Let's give it to the number one pick but if you watched dallas wings basketball this year you didn't see much from either of your top two picks now again like you said i can easily see ottawa. Queer like really coming through and and making a splash in the league in the next couple of seasons yet remember. She's you know she's still so so young. Just barely coming into this league and needing to develop. But she's got a lot of those tool so we could easily see her end up being long-term the best player out of this out of this traffic. I'm i'm a big d. richard fan. I think she loved pieces of the league for a long time. That teams are eager to acquire. Well area mcdonald dana evans. I think those are players that we are really high on draft day. That really haven't gotten to show what they can do. The league yet remembers preseason for the w it's basically you get selected. You get a week to play with your team and at that point. Good coaches pretty.

What would have been her quote unquote true rookie season. So i guess she was a registered. Rigi i don't know where you call. Who do we have. There's no criteria as unfortunate as it is. It's kind of like a think. I was i talking about it on the showroom. He blocked on cracking. But when i was writing for nbc. They made a point to say that you're not olympian until you compete in your first olympic event. So you are. You have qualified for the olympics. After a qualifier. You are on your way to being an olympian when you walk in the opening ceremony but until you compete in your first match in your first game in your first belt. Whatever it is you are not in olympian by nbc standards. So i cannot write that kelsey plum olympian kelsey. Plum travels to tokyo. Can't do that because she's traveling to tokyo. That means. she has not competed. In the tokyo olympics i can say olympian kelsey plum drops however many points in you know three x three debut did. Do we see the difference. Or you can't see me o- on that note another sidebar. We are going to youtube soon. I've already gotten some of the permissions just waiting on a few final touches so soon you will be able to see me. I know you're excited anyway. Back to the regularly scheduled program okay. That's what i'm saying. So i use the criteria of olympia. And that i learned in the style. Guide from nbc. So in this case. Sabrina schoo- hit the floor in her rookie season and charted minutes in her rookie season. She got hurt in her rookie season which exponentially decreased the amount of minutes that she logged in said rookie season. She is no longer a rookie. Folks now you can say she is inexperienced as a rookie would be in the wnba but she is not a rookie not rookie rookie. So with sabrina. Unesco off of the table with kaiser on who who were the actual rookies. And so i'm gonna do this i. I'm sorry i gonna kinda walk through this now. But i didn't think to pull this up because again going through the staff. Also i mean. Let's be honest right the wnba a use it kind of as a benchmark. But it's not great so if you go to wnba you click on the stats heading. And then you hit advanced filters you'll get something that says player bio on the left hand side and i'm going to click rookies rookies for the two thousand. Twenty one regular season. And i just leave the per mode and stats category. That doesn't really matter so. I'm going to run this. They give me michaela. Onion witty ari mcdonald. Charlie collier dana evans. Get onto this. Dna carrington a walkway. Dd richards kaiser. Gandara zack stephanie. Jones elliott wilson destiny slocombe and chelsea. Dungy now those are not all of the rookies that plate but again you had some rookies that were waved and then picked up by another team. And then they got seventy contracts and then they got to stick around. So it's just it's a weird. It's a weird situation. But if we're going i just happened to keep the points. Category the leader in points and basically everything else minutes for sure for the rookie class is michaela onion wedding. Who was announced yesterday again named as a rookie of the hold on. It was rookie rookie of the month for september. I was a little bit confused. Because of the month is over. But the regular season goers so i guess they. They gave that also shout out to players of the week. Natasha howard kelsey plum We also got coach of the month. Was kurt miller. And then they gave out the peak performance awards so these are basically. The leader is the leaders. The in the following categories your scoring leader. Tina charles ooh to be whatever. We'll get into that on thirsty. Not that i have an opinion on it. Your bounds leader jonquil jones also. Mvp candidate in my opinion. And your assist leader courtney vendors loot okay anyway. So is the rookie of the year. She leads in points per game At eight point six points per game she in minutes by a decent amount area. Mcdonald's is right behind her michaela onion. Weady twenty two point. Five minutes per game era mcdonald sixteen point four minutes per game. And then you have Charlie collier which was a little bit surprised to see With twelve point three minutes. Dna carrington is a rookie. That i think definitely deserved to be on the all rookie team. I just makes an impact. Dd richards as well. So we were tasked with Coming up with an all rookie team in wasn't easy. It was not easy. But ultimately i went with and again i did put five names but i was like. Oh that's gone on here was a little weird Okay now we'll have to scroll here. We go okay so my rookie of the year michaela weady for sure. Been calling for that for a while. She also made my all rookie team along with. Dj carrington ari mcdonald. Charlie collier and dana evans just felt that they overall had the best chance to make an impact. That's kind of how. I went with rookie of the year. But i did think. It was interesting and mildly hilarious. That some of my peers in the media didn't even bother to put three names which you know. I kind of understand that too. I suppose i had a little bit of a heart when it came to that coming up next the conversation of the episode on his once again going to shake the table and tell you why she has issue with most improved player and six person six player of the year. That's coming up next but first let's let's go to a to a new sponsor here And it's a sleeper in two thousand eighteen. The fantasy sports experts at sleeper realize the fantasy basketball was broken. "Found anybody on the found anybody on the set that you think you can be friends with. I don't know anyone yet. I mean. I did table dover zoom which is weird but i think i will and honestly dude. I'm going to be going back and forth so much. you know. i mean any chance i get. I'm going to be home in l. A. with the kids and and it's an hour and a half flight. Should i come down to albuquerque and just keep company come to the set. I mean it's a fox show. I could get a pass. That's true all. I hope is that you get into playoffs of football. Nfl player you get to promote the show. I really hope that the cleaning lady is evidence. Called the cleaning lady you know. I don't know how they decide. Who you guys promote. Like if they pick a show or how it works but god damn i hoped that charlie collier and say i'll promote all of your shows all of them. Yeah the mass singer. Twelve all of them which i have to like i. It's an either. Or because i have to do it. But i'm gonna say if you don't slide a my way for oliver show the cleaning lady. I'm not. I'm just gonna mail in the other stuff. I know it will come so full. Circle will come. So it's so crazy i know. Where are you right now. Are you in saint louis. And how's the move going. It's good you're going right behind my big head. I love it. Are you done done moving. Yeah i mean we're done. We're not done trying to find where everything is kind of the house. But we're we need to put stuff on the walls kinda that's where we are but yeah we're we're pretty much done in. The house isn't finished yet. So it's a little frustrating. We don't have drapes in our bedroom which you don't care because you might pass out and sleep. Well i mike my room. So so sorry to interrupt. But i'd never. I never slept with anything over my eyes or anything. Because i'm like why aaron has a whole sleeping system we've talked about it before it's just fucking crazy but she takes this black sort of like tank tops and puts it over. Her is in the morning. And i just tried it. One time in cape cod. And i was like this is a game changer is i can finally sleep. Once the light comes in. I know it's it's not rocket science. But i just never never did anything like it. You know. I think. I was born with abnormally thin eyelids. It's the only part of me. That's thin other than my hair. And i if if anybody like if a door opens and a little lake comes in and like so. If i don't sleep with this mask over my eyes and i use earplugs to. Wow yeah but but i still hear through the earplugs. So i do the earplugs just for some hope that unless the house is on fire or the kids are completely losing their shit. I can kind of get on interrupted sleep..

"For tuning. And everybody is the sunday sunday sunday edition. We don't have any monster trucks too. No sir not yet anyway. Although that could be fun a free talk live monster truck right suite. Yeah if you would like to join us There's a couple of calls holdings if you're getting a busy signal. Keep trying but the number six. Oh three two eight. Three six one six zero if you want to participate in tonight's conversations in the studio it's myself reverend camping kick ass because mountaineer andean. Let's just go right away to the phones. We've got stephen calling from washington steven you're on free. Talk live a Doesn't want to say. Welcome home. And i think that the bail system is nothing more than governments ransom for holding you hostage on some bullcrap charges. So welcome home. Thanks for that appreciate it. We'll talk and again. Sorry what's on your mind tonight stephen. So a bunch of my buddies of mine got crypto group and one of the guys come into the other day. That birds government drones. I wanted to pick your take on. That aren't real. They're just government owns larry coup. But i wanted to throw out hold on hold on incomes. Hold on because i have something related to that. I purchased a house about a year ago and there were no birds there but now i have. There's a nest on either side of my front porch underneath the porch itself. But you know in the open sort of rafter looking area. There's a a nest on either side. Ones got some sort of chicken. The bird the other one's gotta robin's nest and so now i have according to your friends steven probably upwards of ten government drones on my front porch that the larry. We're all crazy that that you know exactly what the government does so. Hey there's no telling man y'all have a great sunday more of a stephen now man. He's got a totally backwards sexually. Birds that run the government. you think that's chirping nam. And it's co. i'm just trying to figure out how to charge these birds rent. They're living rent free like you freeloaders. I don't know i've never had a bird Purposefully come into my house. But i did have a drone in here on march sixteenth. Yeah i yes. You had an actual government drone in your house whereas it's very loud mine are at least disguised as some sort of wildlife and they're not in my house or just on the under the roof of the front porch outside of the house so they're not in the side. It was quite loud quite obnoxious and pretty awful. Yeah all right. Let's go brought the drone in by the way because they don't wanna come in themselves. They're worried that they're going to get shot. That's the idea. That's why they have all the guns in the whole thing instead of instead of coming here you know ten in the morning or in the afternoon and just knocking normal people would do they. You know destroyed the windows drown at six am ten degree weather. Bastard the raid. That could have been a phone call or like an official letter. Anyway we have major pain with us. Major you're on free talk live what's on your mind. You guys are making me chuckle. Well i was gonna have some fun with one of your callers from the previous quarter old robert rabbit. There from germany have papers for his magic money there. Yeah i remember years ago. Cnn elm earn. Elmer fudd episode of bugs. Bunny where he was a german and he was always hunting. Alaska we lab so With my goodness. I mean what kind of a word or we live in here. Dr seuss's illegal he killed alaska. Abbott rights you know like garlic butter but didn't the cartoons to remove elmer. Fudd gun or something like that for his gun revisionist. It's crazy. they probably did. Yeah i read a little ditty in the paper day was it. So there's a park ranger and he says to the first carville. Somebody spotted out here a while back so twenty minutes later. What's the tourists. do drive into a rock band. Like tunnel skewed. Thanks for call tonight. Major major pain. Everybody i gotta say that's totally backwards. Because elmer fudd is an idiot and kind of a bad guy. I mean yeah not not like evil but like a well meaning to kill the rabbit. He he's stupid and the antagonised you would think they would want to hold onto that to paint everyone. Who has a gun like him. As an elmer fudd. I just came up with a portmanteau stand tagging a stent agonised stupid antagon- antagonistic could also be like the name kind of my favorites character that doesn't exist but yet you all know him by name previous leon. That's right previously on. That was pretty good. Yeah i wanna make like an actual character of him. You know like you can do that. I could sell merchan- nfc previously fix for those of you. Don't know him. A big fan of portmanteau. What's a portmanteau it's when you take two words and combine them into one so technical technicalities for example One of my favorite. That's my favorite technical difficulties. The one where now technical -ties right so at any on nfc previously on bitcoin dot com. We were talking about this article from bitcoin. Dot com broadcast company fox to launch. Nf teas and blockchain curated animated series. And so we talked about what an nf t is how it impacts jewel token how it impacts. You know the world that we know in my case allows scientists like a collectible digital collectible baker. Act what it is. And so this guy Let's see who is permanent the ceo of fox. Charlie collier collier also spoke about the project with daniel harmon the american writer producer actor and comedian. Who co created the show. Rick and morty with justin roy lint foxy noted that harmon is working on another television series called crap with a k. which is centered on a flawed family of humans gods and monsters that tries to run one of the world's first cities without killing each other. The new show will be crafted with blockchain technology. And we'll be the first television series to do so collier in k. How well What does that mean. And i had to go to another article to find this out which you know not the best writing skills continuous. No i've read this when they don't actually explain they kind of expect us to know what What the nfc curing thing is. And it's it's really they're putting out merch. Mft's but the blockchain part is what i want to know about what he just said. How do they make the series. It says dan series currently untitled crap. Kapela will be the first ever curated entirely on the blockchain caller said during his interview. And just as we're doing this for our own animation. We will also help your brands connect directly with fans and enthusiasts through and so apparently they're putting like all of the characters and a bunch of shifts and all of that on on blockchain as fte's the we're selling you crap all right. Yeah here's our giant merch table. Here's some digital stuff. So.
