39 dead in fire at Mexico migrant facility near US: official
"At least three dozen migrants have died in a fire at an immigration detention center in northern Mexico near the U.S. border, according to a regional newspaper report. Images from the scene show ambulances firefighters and vans from the morgue around the facility, the injured had been taken to four hospitals, according to the diarra de Juarez newspaper, sources told the paper the fire happened late Monday at a facility in the city across from El Paso in Texas, media's reporting Mexico's attorney general's office has launched an inquiry and has investigators at the scene, so I read Juarez is a major crossing point for migrants. France braces for violence in new wave of pension protests
"The head of France's largest trade union is calling for mediation to discuss the government's pension reform as France prepares for another day of nationwide protests against the retirement age rising from 62 to 64. Speaking on France into radio, Laurent Berger, the head of the CFDT union, says president Emmanuel Macron should put the retirement reform on hold, while he says we sit around the table in order to see where there might or might not be a social compromise. Burger adds is the political and social choice that has to be put in place. It must be clearly announced that this reform will not be implemented and that we're focusing on a path of discussion Macron has made the reforms the priority of his second term arguing there needed to keep the pension system from diving into deficit as France faces lower birth rates and longer life expectancy. Israel tensions ease as Netanyahu pauses judicial overhaul
"Israel's political factions opposed to embattled prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu had begun setting up negotiating teams after he paused a controversial overhaul plan on a pensions legislation. Netanyahu has acknowledged the division's roiling the nation, and has announced a month long delay for the legislation. He says he wants to avoid Civil War and would seek a compromise. He spoke after tens of thousands of people demonstrated outside the parliament building in Jerusalem, but compromise appears elusive as the standoff remains over the fundamental issue of what kind of country Israel should be and positions only appear to have hardened. "Prince Harry is in court for a privacy suit against a tabloid. Harry's in the high court in London as the lawyer for a group of British tabloids prepares to ask a judge to toss out lawsuits by the prince Elton John and several other celebrities who allege phone Tapping and other invasions of privacy. The hearings, one of several lawsuits Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, has brought against the media. This one is expected to last four days. Suicide bomber kills 6 people near foreign ministry in Kabul
"A suicide bomber has struck near the foreign ministry in Kabul, killing at least 6 people and wounding several others. People clear up a broken glass in the attack aftermath. While eyewitness Omar ansari tells the AP a lot of people were wounded and martyred, the casualties, ambulances arrived and carried them to 400 beds and to security forces hospitals. Stefano Souza, the emergency non governmental organization country director, says among the injured who all male is a child. Once again, he says, we're reminded that although the war has ended, we continue to treat victims of violence. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing, but the regional affiliate of the Islamic State group has increased attacks since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan in mid August 2021. I knew we had this gospel collection, but nobody had ever really looked into it. Christopher lynch is a musicologist at the center for American music at the university of Pittsburgh. We had about 140 pieces of music that didn't exist in any other library in the world. Lynch and his team discovered that pace was an early pioneer of gospel music. Herbert Jones, the founder of the heritage gospel corral, says bases archives helped secure Pittsburgh special place in music history. Pittsburgh was a stop over point for jazz musicians and from blues musicians back in the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. So this is another niche in the history of Pittsburgh and the music field. "Of forge their own path? Yeah, I would say, I say, do your homework. And when I say that, I mean, it's great to go out with passion and present it, but you have to have a plan. And that could be, you know, do you want to be a generalist or you want to, this could be applied to a couple of different media, of course. But yeah, do I want to be a specialist and I want to be a generalist. I'm going back and forth between that as well. For me, it's about being also diversifying. I don't just solely rely on photography or I don't just solely rely on consulting or design or filmmaking. It's about building a brand based on those three words. Like I said, style creativity and soul and thinking about how you want your clients to feel when they work with you and after they're done working with you and will that make them want to work with you again. So it's like a lot of soft skill stuff. I mean, yeah, of course, being technically skilled and talented, those are all great things. But if people don't like you, you're not going to go far far. Learning how to maintain or establish and maintain relationships with people who align with the vision that you want to sell your artwork to present your work to and being able to manage that and navigate that and be in spaces and present yourself well. I think that's really important. And then also, of course, the more technical stuff about managing the business, you know, establishing an LLC, your contracts, delivering over delivering at times, under promising, you know, versus a device that basically because people will call you on. You said you were going to get 30 pictures. You don't need to deliver 29. It's like, oh, okay. Gotcha. But if I say I'm delivering 15 and I deliver 30, guess what, now I'm a rockstar, you know? And a lot of creatives, you know, take that for granted. And I also understand that this time and money involved with creating and running a business. So be mindful of that. Don't kill yourself. Rest. Take your time to step away from it. And reevaluate reassess, learn, and then ask for mentorship from people who are already doing it that are in a game. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? What kind of work do you want to be doing? Future stuff or continuation of what you're currently on. Where do you see yourself? Yeah, ultimately, in your 5 years, it's funny because I've been actually writing out my chain your plan and in the next 5 years, a couple of things. I definitely want to have a new physical space to run a shop and have a team. A dedicated team on payroll. So where I can manage and be creative or principle for projects that are being done by people that are working for me. But also, yeah, I have a really, I have a big passion for veterans affairs. So I've been researching ways that I can somehow participate in helping veterans. The advanced transitioning or trying to find their way out in the workforce at the China start of business, there are so many benefits out there available to a betterment to they don't know they're there and they're just out here flapping and trying to work but also might have some disabilities or issues that their workplace will workplaces are required to accommodate, right? So yeah, that's a huge passion of mine. Honestly, being helping veterans, especially better as a color transition and live good lives after kind of lived some potentially really lift them some really potentially horrible situations because of war. Yeah. But yeah, having a shopping, helping veterans. I'm like, what? I'm looking at a photograph and design I did, and president Obama saw that word. I mean, it's cool. Can you give me a sneak peek on whether or not they have a new album coming out? I'm someone to see. Okay, all right. We did. You mentioned a photo shoot. I thought I would ask. I feel like I have stay tuned. Yeah, and you know, we're talking about foreign exchange and fancy too, but nikolay is super talented as a producer. I have some of his solo albums too. Like one of them, I think I forget what it's called. Something with Shibuya in it. I'm not remembering. No, no, no. The city lights, city lights volume two. Yeah. Oh man, that's one of my favorite favorite just like chill out albums. One of the slides on there is, I forget that I had to go back and remember that, 'cause I know the song when I hear it, I can't necessarily think of the name of it, but it's like some song. I forget it's like, I don't call it like my getting home from the club song. When you get home, super late and the son's about to rise. It's like that kind of song. I forget the name of it, but they're all super talented. That whole click is super talented. Yeah, and super nice. I'm just constantly evolving actually as far as what I do. For me, you know, sometimes it's just from editing photos. I run into like a creative block with where to go with a certain edit. I'll put it down and I'll step away and indulge in other media via a short film or looking at some art books that I have, but I know from me saying inspire people around kind of exploring the balance between what's in my head and what I see that catches my eye out in the world. And also music, you know, a lot of my photography and design, I mean, I feel it's so connected to musical energy and at least to me I always like to think of a song whenever I present a certain edit or if I do a print so for me, sometimes I'll be inspired by music or if I'm producing music and coming up with a theme and a rhythm and I'll start to see colors and I'll start this. "Lawyer doctor. They're great at what they do or they wouldn't be in business very long. But the irs comes. Cohen thorough lost their second base. They don't know what to do. They're what they do. They may be very smart to do. So outsourcing payroll to me is no brainer. It's one of those things you should do and we do it in. Our competitors are reasonably good at producing checks when the problem arises. They don't have the professionals on staff to solve your problems we. That's what we do better than anybody. Else's word concern we're basically insurance for your payroll. You may never need some of the specialty that we bring to the table. Hopefully you won't. But forty percent of small businesses. Get penalized every year by the irs. To the tune of eight hundred dollars on average. So if you didn't get one last year this year next year so give me a call now for those that are the do it yourself or is that would probably think well i could just learn about this now for those that are trying to learn about it or they have a general knowledge. That's time that they have to take away from their business. Rather just to learn about all the little concepts to all of this all the time. As well i keep up on five emails. A newsletter is a week from the irs. I read the traits. I studied this stuff. Why teach on it. I go to classes on it. I had this conversation with an engineer. Number of years ago. I done of a tax return for any general charles. I can do what you do. I said steve absolutely go back to college will take about three years. Spent twenty years in the field. Doing this you can do exactly what i do. But you know steve. If i go back to college for three years in your field and then work in your industry for twenty years. I can do what you do. I'm just as smart as you are. So what okay they deal. You can't do it today. And i can't do your job today so you pay me new yours. You pay me to do my job. And i bet you do your job. What do you want.

But they're not going to bring it to you because if just on their ideas before so if you already have a culture like that you're pretty much screwed a you better change it or you are going to be screwed. I've seen it over and over. People with with egos like that. That can accept input from from subordinates or associates they loose because people want to contribute people want to be part of the organization. People wanna feel like they're important. George washington crane used to say the easiest way to get along with people is to imagine tattooed on their chest or the words. I am important and treat them that way and if you treat them like they're important they'll feel like they're important and if they feel like they're important though when it contribute wanna help the wanna be responsible organization work sculpture corporate culture and they don't teach that school at least they didn't what i what the wakened come into charles reed's class and he'll give us the rundown and all that masters class on you got it. I just did no. You lay it out That that is inspiring right there. I'm kinda motivated to go do something. I don't know what i need to do. Need to go do something. Okay so i feel like we're kind of recording and we're kind of just getting an episode in as we speak if you're okay with that okay. That's a good so let me get a few more questions than i feel like. "Efficient more effective at happier. I am too. Yes and i can agree with you with just exploring like different avenues. That revolve around your job. I mean some people don't want to learn other people's jobs but i mean that's how i excelled in the military at a faster rate than every other soldiers because i wanted to know what the radio radio operator was doing when i was just a rifleman i wanted to know what The computer guy was doing. I would know the driver's doing because it's like they know something. I don't know and i want that information. So that makes me a knowledge expert than now people want me because like oh for no some shit like we need him here. That's true to a level okay. But at some point you no longer need to be the smartest person in the room. You need to know how to hire the smartest person in the room began. Can't do everything when you start out. You are all the hats. You're responsible for everything. The moment you start hiring people you start handing off hats and delegating responsibility. Yes okay. lieutenant doesn't need to be the mess. Best map reader in the company the company. He just needs to know who is okay. He doesn't need to be the most accurate rifle he just needs to know. Who was sniper is okay. He doesn't necessarily know how to how how to build on the radio from scratch. He needs not operated or how to give orders the radio operator to effectively. Communicate is needs to combat control. I don't succeed all the time but I choose to be happy and this is something that people can learn to do. You can be happy almost anywhere almost anytime if you choose to be a possibly. You think of yourself as important and other people will think that way. No of course in the intervening five years aviation technology had gotten a lot better so or take decided to renew the price for another five years and this time a bunch of contender started to step forward and die because flying thirty six hundred miles at a rickety lawnmower planned was still bat. Shit fucking crazy. So the i was a french. Flying ace named marin eighth funk and his airplane crashed on takeoff in september of nineteen twenty. Six distance wasn't really the issue there then was it was it was wayne but because of the distance so in april of nineteen twenty seven to american aviators named noel davis and Stanton wooster were killed while testing the plan. They were gonna use for the flight and a few weeks later. A couple of french war heroes. Book sales appearances. Whatever and then he'll pay them a reasonable salary for a couple years and exchange was more. He's been promising a big chunk of money to the families.
