Let's start out with the delays in Virginia on northbound 95 after the Thornburg exit headed toward the Route 1 Spotsylvania exit exit 126. Watch for the wreck along the right side. Then you're going to find a delay from Lorton into Newington. That crash was moved over to the left shoulder. Southbound 95 slows out of Lorton crossing the Occoquan toward the Prince William Parkway. That work is in the left lane. We had the crash in Chantilly 50 near Airline Parkway. Also northbound 395 delays are out of Springfield headed toward Duke Street. The two left lanes get by the work. Then delays getting onto the inbound 14th street bridge. This is work in the right lane in Virginia on 66 eastbound inside the Beltway delays passing Glebe Road with the work in the left lane. Beltway slows in directions both headed toward Georgetown Pike. The work taking the right side both ways. Inner loop delays near 123. Your outer loop delays are near River Road in Maryland on the Baltimore Washington Parkway. The earlier delays southbound headed toward 410 have eased but now seeing a delay southbound out of Greenbelt headed inside the Beltway toward 410 they may have switched sides for that work on the parkway. It was the left side of the roadway getting by when it was in the northbound direction. Inbound New York Avenue near the Anacostia River and South Dakota Avenue a single lane gets the by work and southbound DC 295 near East Capitol Street that was a report of a broken down vehicle. Roads around the region can be deadly. Local leaders are deeply concerned about if they're especially worried about rising pedestrian and cyclist deaths, despite safety measures. We could crosswalks in, drivers kill people walking in the crosswalk. Montgomery county executive Mark L rich sounding fed up as he talked about the latest information coming from the metropolitan Washington council of governments, showing that pedestrian and bicyclist deaths in the D.C. region were up 37% last year when compared to the year before. It really is up to our residents to take responsibility. Leaders in the region are urging everyone to slow down and be more aware and realize that this is a problem just ask Rebecca young, who was hit by an SUV while walking in a crosswalk in Alexandria. I am Allah will join more than 200 other spellers at the Scripps national spelling bee which runs from May 31st to June 2nd. The Prince William regional spelling bee is coming up on Tuesday, march 21st, at Garfield high school, 45 spellers will take part in that competition. A group of homeowners in prince George's county is calling on counting leaders and even the governor to hear its concerns before construction starts on a public park. A proposed park would sit on 25 acres just outside the Cantor creek community in upper Marlboro. Plans call for a playground, trail basketball and tennis courts. A Jean grill a prophet told our news partners at NBC four, she wouldn't have moved there had she known about the planned park. If I had known there were basketball courts and grills in a pavilion, no, I wouldn't have. I had to stay in Laurel. She says homeowners raise concerns about the park during a public meeting three years ago, but no changes were made. It really hurts and stings that people made decisions that don't live here about our community and now we're having to deal with it. Westbound west of chantilly on route 50 delays lead to a car crash in your stonecroft boulevard. That was blocking the right side. Beltway in Maryland and Virginia, no recent crashes, plenty of heavy traffic, 95 southbound slow, just south of the beltway in Springfield, down to the aka Kwan river in woodbridge. Volume delays in Maryland on two ten south of the beltway on two 70 northbound from Rockville toward Frederick. We had a crash north of 80 urbana last hour. That is clear. More recently, one reported northbound north of montrose road indications that one's going to be in the local lanes. 95 in Baltimore, Washington Parkway, slow stretches of traffic belt, way to beltway in a crash outside of burtonsville on one 98 reported near peach Orchard road In the district, outbound from the 11th street bridge on D.C. at interstate two 95 expect company and on three 95 to and from the 14th street bridge through southwest congestion without incident.
