"She was a playboy bunny at the cincinnati playboy club they were together for a few years before chandler moved to saint paul minnesota and married another woman with whom he fathered another son. After this the details of chandler's romantic life are murky. He would have two more children after. Skipper was born but as i said there could be more fast forward to the late nineteen eighties. James is forty one years old and engaged to a woman but of course being true to his nature. He seeing another woman her. Name's deborah whiteman in chandler's opinion. Deborah is prettier. She's also younger more naive and doesn't ask prying questions about his past or what he gets up to when she's not around in chandler's perspective based on over twenty five years of relationships. There's nothing worse than a woman who will not mind her own business. Gender lied to debra with ease and didn't feel bad about it not that he felt remorse for much of anything he said or did when she learned debra met deborah knew nothing about is fiance and was under the impression that changed their lived with his mother in a mobile home. She knew that chandler had been married before but didn't know how many times and that he had children from previous relationships deborah herself had been married twice before she also knew he had been to prison for dealing drugs. Chandler shared her though that this was all in the past and she accepted it after the triple murder chandler told his daughter crystal he had done. She went on to tell. Deborah and the three of them decided to move away from florida. All the way to california. He had a fast car and wanted ticket to anywhere but florida. They likely didn't make it all the way there as was hurting pretty badly for money. They returned rather quickly to florida. Settling in daytona beach or he had connections. This is where police would find him and take him to court chandler thinking he's smarter than everyone else determined..

Killer doesn't start with three victims. The new detectives decided to run a media blitz to try jumps mark lose billboards. Were blown up with pictures of the handwriting and were put up in the tampa bay area. This was the first time police had ever used billboards to draw in more. Tips are true. Crime superstar joanne. He had been hired to rebuild her porch. She said her knees hit the floor as the y. In his handwriting was a perfect match. She called tampa police but never heard back joanne. Steffi called again and again over several weeks luckily she was very persistent. Anna asks and eventually was able to talk with an officer. At which point she gave the name. Oba chandler oba was forty five at the time had a long trail of felonies but investigators saw pictures of oba. The resemblance to the sketch was obvious. They became very excited. They reached out to judy. The woman who had been raped and she was very quickly able to pick oba chandler out of photo array. this allowed place to track him to daytona beach where he was finally handcuffed. It said that he jumped onto his father's open. Grave as dirt was being thrown in. I feel for anyone who lost a family member to suicide including ten-year-old oba i don't however condone using terrible past as an excuse to become a terrible person chandler grew up taking what he wanted he began to steal cars and was arrested for possessing counterfeit money. Then his crimes became more serious. Would go on to be arrested and charged with burglary kidnapping and armed robbery. It's unclear when exactly chandler began to display predatory behavior in his late teens. He was arrested for masturbating while peering into a woman window during his early days in florida chandler and an accomplice broke into the home of a couple and robbed at gunpoint as well as robbing them. Chandler had his accomplice tie the man up while he took the woman to the bedroom. He forced her to strip down to her underwear. He then tied her up and slowly rubbed the barrel of his revolver across her stomach. During this incident it became obvious that chandler experience sexual pleasure from scaring people despite being a sexual deviant and immense society chandler was never without a woman by side. maybe they found his bad boy vibe irresistible. Arizona Mother Calls out School for Disguising 'Critical Race Theory' as 'Anti-Racism'

"Same school board meeting. Cut 14. Now this this mother speaks rather quickly, So you have to listen carefully Cut 14 go in the June 9th governing board meeting you stated unequivocally. The critical race theory is not in Chandler Unified schools. I've spent the last few days reviewing every item available through the district website on the recent summer equity symposium. It was not only saturated with the language of critical race theory, but it was sponsored by Stanford, Arizona political nonprofit who runs the center for anti Racism and Education. Anti racism has become the preferred euphemism for critical race theory. What concerns you the most about what I read, watched and research about the symposium is how you're framing our direction for the district, the moderator said. They're placing equity at the center of our district. I'd like education to be the center of our district. Education should not be viewed as a tool towards equity, but as the ankle itself 30 seconds, you know, Speaker Victor Rios described the education Trinity as parents, teachers and students. But it seems you view it as teachers, administrators and school board. Parents will sit down, shut up and take what we're given and be grateful. You were prioritizing your own personal political agendas above the welfare of this district. Students paying my friends have pulled their students in the district into charter schools and home schools. And they've encouraged me to do the same. I've always been an advocate for public schools and I got valued the resources and opportunities found here. But I find the value diminishing quickly. We have voted you into advocate our Children. We ask that you do so. His parents are Are so stressed by what's going on because it's so outrageous, but we don't call it critical race theory. Now we called anti racism. Oh, Will change the language will change the narrative. You see.

The news topic was it. Sarah would look at me. And i want to just go what he said i was like. Well let me piggyback on. What chandler said and he said well let me take it back. Take your piggyback. He laughed at that awesome. I mean i was like i was like i was seeing myself in him. You know i. I'm thankful for your voice. I'm thankful for what you're doing in the stands you take in a lot of times. We look at this crazy. I like to call it. The woke topi. You know when you said that was a good one. I mean it's crazy. We look at the next generation. You know older generations always look at the next generation ago. They're hopeless you know they. They're hopeless every generation always done. I look at my own generation. Sometimes it's hopeless. Like i go on instagram. And i'm like you know. I'm looking at a girls' profiles and stuff but then it's like instant like. Oh she's got she her. she's got they. Instagram has an actual feature. Now that it will just straight up show on their profile on the mobile's and it'll say she her damage just like. Oh go in there now and edit your pronouns. Yeah it can you imagine if you can do. Gotta go in today. I think i'm gonna edit mean. I'm i'm going to be a she. She her for the don't know i'm just saying could you imagine if half the kids his new half of what chandler knows how less woke this country would be so what he just said is incredibly profound in that he listened and he was in. You paid attention. And you're like this guy makes a terrible racist trolleys in for black community record low unemployment and just all of the things the gramps the funds all these things for black businesses. You know he's the worst racist. I've ever met horrible. Yeah and you know. The thing is and that's the whole point if people could just think critically and have some complexity of thown and learn to listen instead of trying. Everybody's trying to be you know an activist but they're activist with ignorance. I'm all for activism. i'm all for speaking out. You know an. And that's why. I'm proud of what you're doing because you take the initiative you know to do your own show and in those things in so many people they just vomit on.

"Even worry about getting a book deal like when do i need to write a book. Do i need to write a book. How long does it take. What does that look like financially. How do i get a book deal like all these questions about writing a book. And i've done quite a few episodes about this and even talked about how to self publish. But i'm not the expert and you know who is. His name is chandler bolt and today chandler is here on the show he is the ceo of self publishing school and self publishing dot com. He himself is the author of six best selling books including his most recent book titled published. Now he's got a great story. "Me now. First-class father michael chandler. Welcome to first-class fatherhood. Thank you for having me. And i appreciate the opportunity all right. Let's start right here. How many kids you have how old i have one son and he is four years old. He turned four in january. So he's almost four and a half involved in any sports activities yet. i do. Yeah so he's he is in flag football and he is in t-ball and we've got a couple of different. He gets to school this week and we got him involved in a summer camp. Every single week associated with our our school which is right down the street and keep busy. Keep him around other kids socialize and having a good time running all over the place just like oh boy should be doing. Yeah very cool. I love that. Michael if you could just take a minute here to hit my listeners. A little bit about your background. What do yes. I mean i. I've i've been wrestling. And then now i fight for a living For about the last twenty years. I wrestled in high school wrestling. College was an all american at the university of missouri in two thousand nine. Then i transitioned in to mixed martial arts right away in two thousand nine Fought outside the ufc for a very long time won a couple world titles and bella tour and came over to the ufc just fought for the world title in the ufc. Lightweights on top five lightweight right now and Chasing the gold and also trying to be a better human being at all times. Yeah it's inspiring to watch you over your career here. Michael been crushing it. In the octagon outside the octagon and along this journey about. How old were you when you first became a dad and had to becoming a father kind of change your perspective on life so i was right about thirty thirty one when i became a father We adopted our son actually so he was He was already about ten months old way him. So we got you know. Skip those first ten months of Of his life which was really just the baby stage and whatnot so we So kinda got thrusted into hood pretty quick even though it. Was you know for any of the listeners who have gone through the adoption process. Which is Its grueling at times. Because it's a long process a lot of A lot of paperwork a lot of background checks. Physical health background checks. Fbi criminal background checks. Financial background checks physicals All of those different things and make sure you are Fit to be parents of the daca child so It took about a year to get the process going and then at at one forty pm on a certain day we got an email saying we were down with our paper book paperwork and eligible to adopt them at one forty six pm. Six minutes later we got an email. That said congratulations. You're eligible by the way there. This this down in texas that fits your preferences perfectly and within forty eight hours of that phone call down in texas. We were waiting at a hotel room. waiting to receive and and take custody of are the greatest blessing on the entire planet so Although it was a long process of you know getting all the prerequisites done for adoption of six minute match was very quick so It was used blessing. In god's time and it was absolutely perfect of us use the greatest joy of our lives. Yeah very well say. Got quite a few dads out here. Who have adopted. I understand the process can be long and painstaking but definitely worth it and thank god. It is as extensive as it is so that the kids can find homes. I think no greater formula from apparent to adopt a child and give it. Give that love to somebody. That's not their own and make them their own saw props to you for you. Do you guys planning on having any more kids or adopting any more kids. You guys one done here. We are we. We've played around with the idea. I think i think we we were both in in the position where we thought man. We're like we're so happy so content with with just our son have like. I don't need love any more children. You know like we we. We didn't necessarily want to have a a huge family. I think. I think maybe one more might be on the horizon. You know Still kicking around the idea of my wife and extremely busy and we just love loving on our son. We love what he's involved in and haven't thought too much crazy forward thinking into the future but it been huge joy and you know as you know probably talk about a lot on the on this podcast. It's becoming a parent is it's the most important thing that you can do as a human being You know fighter world champion and businessmen and even husband is those are all great things but the being Being a father in leading child. Especially for me. I have the joy of having a son and i i. I want to turn them into a a wonderful young man a high functioning individual. Who's gonna yeoman is going to grow up and be a leader of his generation and Really excited about that and also excited about maybe expanding family. So we'll see. Yeah very cool. And i talk about on the show a lot. Michael is the fatherless crisis we have going on we have so many kids are growing up without a father or father figure in their life and it's having a devastating result on our society so It it's awesome to see you know people that do adopting give kids an opportunity to have a father grow up with a father figure so it's cool that what would you touch down a little bit there. But what would you say are the top values that you're hoping to it. Still unhappy growing up. I think more than anything. Hard work and accountability. You know not not hard work. Because i'm a fighter and i'm a guy who's going to work hard and do all that but we're just d- Wiping the sweat off your brow and being able to get done with day of of of work not because of You know not because of building finances not because building treasures up here on earth but but but doing the most with the talents that you were given and finding his purpose and finding what that what that thing is that makes them tick what. What is the purpose. That is on his life. And and finding god's best for his life and i truly do believe that i speak over every single night that when he walks into a room people will take notice when he walks in a certain direction. People follow him when he speaks. People will listen. I wanna speak these things into that so that he is so confident and so Secure in himself Things that i didn't really get growing up i had. I did have a great family mother and a father both in the home. A great father But it wasn't spoken to me. That i can really take the world on an take. Take everything squeezed. Every ounce of joy and happiness and success in in accomplishment. Out of this life I want him to believe those things about himself. And then through osmosis through the people that he is around. I want him to be able to to rub off on to other people just by being around him I wanted to love Fiercely want him to be a leader. As i said in his generation..

"Welcome to kids myths and mysteries. So i'm your host kid crumb today in my month long. Look into all things around ghosts. I take a close look at channel. Lena spirit the practice of channeling a person's body being taken over by spirit for the purpose of communication has been around for a millennia. There are countless stories of shaman which doctors prophets and others who claimed to hear voices or received some supernatural knowledge from the spirit world. Chandler's also sometimes known as psychic mediums. Often use what are called spirit guys friendly spirits who give them knowledge and help them help others with the spiritual journey according to experts sonya. Homeless encampment to set up behind Bellevue temple in Seattle area next month

"Homeless encampments. Bellevue is getting ready to host one next month more from co most Jonathan Show. This is the well manicured lawn behind Temple, but NATO or on the Crossroads neighborhood. We do this because it's our mission starting next month. The temple is paying $3000 for a fem thing, Rabbi Sydney Danziger says up to 40 homeless men and women will be allowed to set up right here. These are just Good working folks who are looking for a stopgap. This will be the latest stop for 10 City for an encampment that moves around from one community to another. This time around the Jewish Temple, the city of Bellevue and homeless advocacy group share wheels are partnering to make this happen. We have a code of conduct we go by. We can't camp approvals that we enforce. Organizers say there will be regular covert testing, strict security idea and background checks, No drugs or any type of illegal activity will be tolerated. And Bellevue PD says the encampment doesn't necessarily attract more crime. But even with the assurances, the possibility is there and I would like to see it. Tightened up some neighbors like Karen Morrison Chandler Dang still have concerns. I like the city, too. Do a better job informing us. The city says it's working on that with mailers and updates to its Web site. It's not a perfect science, but they keep trying to let people know And there's actually already an ordinance allowing this arrangement, But it's been nearly five years since 10 City for use the Temple's lawn. Rabbi Danziger hopes others get more involved. I hope that more and more faith based organizations start using the rights that they have to host these tent encampments on their land for Bellevue Jobs and Shoko Monix. In the first case of its

Fire in Greater Boston Area of Worcester, Leaves 2 Dead

"Triple Decker hears WBZ TV s Nick Emmons. This building here a triple decker home off of Shock Avenue just off Chandler Street. If you're familiar with the area Was engulfed in flames around 7 30 tonight when firefighters arrived. Visibility in his area was really bad they could barely see through the smoke. The flames were shooting out of the building. Once firefighters were able to get their bearings in this neighborhood here, they came across the person who had apparently jumped from a rear balcony off this triple decker here. That person we understand, suffered life threatening injuries. They were taken to the hospital. We do not have an update on their condition. But again, this fire was incredibly fast moving the big concern. Was other buildings as well that are within feet of this triple decker. They did not want this fire to spread. Ultimately, when firefighters went into the building to try to put out the flames, it was just too bad inside and they had to evacuate. This is what the deputy chief told us. The fire conditions inside deteriorated very, very quickly. Way pulled off firefighters out for their safety way did extensive exterior fire fighting operations over the next hour or so to bring this fire under control. Years of sense, sent crews back into the building way have been been able able to to search search the the first first in in the the second second floor floor of of the the fire fire building. building. Unfortunately, Unfortunately, we we do do have have two two deceased deceased residents residents on on the the first first floor floor there there just just now now getting getting to to start their investigation into what went wrong here at this triple decker The Salvation Army. The Red Cross now trying to help all the people who were displaced from this home here tonight after this tragic situation as far as an exact head count of the amount of people who lived In this building here. We don't have an exact number. But the deputy chief told us at least 13. People were living inside that building at the time. We've seen family members here, consoling each other outside as they're staying warm in a nearby building here, but just a tragic situation here and it causes yet to be determined. WBC's Carl

"And you know sometimes you can throw in horror element so then things like trauma very popular and very hard to do that stuff now. People are very unhappy with a line of dialogue characters protrayed. So i you know the way i get into it. Now's my pay. i'm doing horror. It's supposed to be dark. It's supposed to be messed up. Some people still don't quite understand it but that's fine because it's supposed to be that way and that's kind of i feel like i'm more comfortable doing it. My think than congress. I can't compete with like hollywood level cry movies and a cop movies and it's really hard talent house all the cool stuff that they can do in that. You know with our. It'd be a little inventive. Say one apple take back on sci-fi talk with richard chandler. I gotta ask you about your experience on castle rock. Oh give us a really good one I worked on Both seasons that the last one i. I don't think you could see me. I i was in kind of a crowd. I was mesmerized. People like they They did a lotta take for this. But i never heard anybody say they saw me. I do have the wash season two. I did watch using the one. You can see my hands and the piece of my beard. hand somebody a manic and his wild. I mean nathan literally took a whole day to shoot this scene and not as only clip that survived and i was like damn i was like of course you know 'cause i was like the had all these like dolly shots and stuff but i've been and they just didn't didn't use them but the was awesome. I mean it was like there's this is just crazy is the amount of of stuff going on was just great to watch. What's it like to kind of play in the stephen king universe it was he was like surreal. You know they have the super old house up on her hill. You know is why you had to drive like the driveway was up on a hill. It was like surrounded by woods. It just like a couple for that out those. I'll never forget the experience. Because i'm sitting there thinking to myself like man this i feel like i've just entered this like other little ground for a day. You know with the way the house walls and everything. Yeah be wild so the pandemic I mean obviously you. Nobody's really shooting anything or those. Some things apparently returning to shoot obviously different precautions. But what's it been like for you. It's been really hard. It's been hard to even promote things. I think a lot of people are just on and off of social media. A lot of people are very distracted. it's odd. You know we had a. We had a relief in the beginning. You know in the more in the beginning of the year and it was much different than parts unknown being released. I really felt like you know. People's attitudes went from my very happy every like. Hey i want to see what's up to kind of just like very like you know everyone's just angry at everything now and that's been very difficult To get things going. Because as. I'm sure everybody knows you house to take extreme precautions. Now you need people to communicate the they don't so you gotta like yeah..

"Scene one apple take one scene one apple. Take too high this edition of scifi talk. We have richard chandler. He's an actor cinematographer. A director in writer and producer. Welcome richard. that's quite a background. Thanks for having me on. I appreciate that you like doing it all. Don't you doing some of it. I guess i'm not gonna ask you what you don't like but that would i. It gets confusing. Sometimes you know. Keep your your known for parts unknown which is an interesting film. 'cause deals with wrestlers and supernatural little. Bit talk about that project. Little bit hurts. Unknown was our last feature recently had release on amazon prime in a couple of talk forums. Yeah it's about like a family wrestlers fair download lock. They've hit some hard times but they're kind of psychotic and They're looking for you. Know an outlet for blood and mayhem. And you know. They gradually come across as they've all been blacklisted and fired from their jobs and everything so you know they kinda descended into this. Like almost co like mentality. I guess you could say got to be gratifying. That platforms like amazon and netflix exists. So that movies like yours. Have a place that can be shown. Yeah totally especially amazon. A little like oversaturated. About like yeah without them. Probably just be down to like festivals and stock. So it's definitely a good thing. And i guess there was some negotiation kind of thing to get the film The get the rights and all that. Well yeah i mean you know you go through like a third party. Brian cases. Wild-eyed yeah and they you know they kinda they set about stuff off all that fun stuff that i don't understand as an artist you know i hear you. I totally hear the business of show business. Yes i totally. Don't i see looking at the very popular. Imdb there's a few things you're working on including a called ted bundy had a son. It's funny people mentioned are not one I it's it's one of those weird concepts where everybody contributes to it like remotely which i guess really works these days This this was started a long time ago. "More important than ever right now. Yeah it's a great unifier and it's tough. It sucks that that's been one of the hardest hit industries in this entire thing. Yeah Hopefully hopefully comes back. Yeah yeah. I mean never. Every morning on our show will highlight any new business. Any new funding opportunities for musicians like around the us just like. Hey you know the other week we heard main was releasing a state fund for live music to kind of come back and start paying artists again and Bullock i think he signed something for artists to get a little entertainment fund again our budget. So i mean it's it's their people realize that it's definitely been missing and it brings people yet brings people in different establishments there get. It gives them business. It's a it's a win win. You know you're providing for the culture of your total immunity and you're you know you're helping the economy out connor percent though. I don't know yeah it's it's really cool and it's sad to see like a lot of the bigger cities. Like austin and nashville. I think has been hit bad a lot of these big garage that have been there forever at various of hemorrhaging money at this point and and they're having a shutdown and i think austin and asheville there very very gentrified. Now they're changing places You know to be honest. You could with this scene up here. You could see a lot some of those people. It's a different. You know weather wise and stuff like that and how big the city is know big. Big boseman is it's a lot different from nashville. And also of course but you could definitely see a lot of people to move in this area. They're big scene. In boise idaho to and you can kind of see that. Boseman boise scene. I guess connect in a tour leg. Yeah so. I don't know it'll be interesting to see. You know what it's like in the coming years but there could be the next big music spot or what do you got going on in the coming years food l. The people where where do you got coming up. Yeah they can come. Check you out here. I'll be I'll be at sage lodge Down prey near emigrant there on thursday residency there And then i will be at in. How wisdom montana. On friday toe. Yeah at the antler saloon. Check that out. That's in back to back. Yeah oh back. Yeah back to back and then i got. I got saturday off so probably go find live music off. Always i love just being able to sit down somewhere in a bar and listen to have year low playing. Don't like saturday this past saturday. Didn't have gig. And i got to go see that a an and another guy who's great. He lives out in red. Lodge is named daniel cosell amazing singer songwriter. Been doing this for for years. Plays a lot in this area I got to sit there and enjoy watching them. Play and get to hear what else is out there absolutely. Yeah kind of hear what people are doing and how they're kind of taking the scene you know making their own. I mean it's crazy. We've heard we. We recently did like an artist mission where we just kind of fanned out on facebook and just said hey you know if you've got stuff we'd love to hear it and i mean just vast amount of john lewis differences and some of it was like this is from montana what you know what i mean and it's crazy like somewhere hip hop somewhere wrapped we're meddlesome we're folks somewhere. You know bluegrass kind of what austin. Wow yeah it's crazy austin's never always just just been this country seen it's man. Yeah it's it's hip like I think Leon bridges right hurt. His lovely bridge got a key. Part in the austin scene there it might be fort worth but texas jenner. Arriving i mean he is he you know and of course. He's huge now. Yeah and he's not country Act so yeah. That's really cool. To see there are so. I mean such diverse culture in that respect for the for the music scenes and tell us what makes it what it is absolutely. Are you do on the buckhorn sessions. I am actually. Yeah when his own you plan so doing the bug. It's going to be november seventh. I want to say. I got that right. But it's gonna be me and marseillaise carol if you guys have her You should definitely get here on the show for one thing. She is an amazing singer songwriter. We've written Assam together that play and Her husband is carol. Mazing guitar player lead guitar. He'll be playing lead guitar and then dangerous l. We'll just mentioned. He played on saturday us for gonna be. Does he live here in town. Daniel daniel lives in red lodge but the last like i feel like the last five weeks. He's been in this area for music. You know playing gigs. Or just watching gigs. You know he likes hanging out around here. Lots of toys you know. He's always in town but yet daniel he you know he he's. He's he's a great guy very talented. Like i said he's been doing this for years and he's he's going to be more like your blues Like stevie ray. Vaughan light man wants what i would love if i can find a blues player to get on for a little bit the therapy so sick absolutely. Oh my god he is he is. I love me some blues. Yeah i had never heard of steve on until started following john mayer. That's what i think. That's what's important. He's got a little stevie ray. Vaughan video absolute. Oh yeah he was. That was a good correlation. Yeah to go. You can hear it in his voice when he gets to those like. Yeah there's definitely a lot that's interested in making their you know you wouldn't think about it but yeah it's it's funny but but yeah. Yeah dan daniel he is. He is quite a talented talented guy. that's cool. How'd you get into that that buckhorn. What's how'd you get into that. The who invited you. So i think i want to say that eighties. I want to say they reached out to her. And then i think maybe she kinda invited us along. I want to say. But i know amanda stewart did it a few weeks back Her was a sweet no was found street. I think she did it with fountain street right. Yeah i thought so. I wanna say and so there might have been. I think it could've just been like they asked her. And and you know You know who else will be good for the sessions and she kind of reached out. But that's one thing that's really cool about. This community is like yeah. You play a gig somewhere. You enjoy it. You want your friends to play it. You give your friends their contact or give the contact and yeah. It's a very help. Help help me help you. Type of community exactly and there's like new restaurants and bars opened up all the time breweries all the time and they have no idea about anything about the music scene you know and they start with one. They go to an open mic night or something they start with one person. And then it's domino and everybody's ever met this museum. They're just the nicest people. And yeah.

I didn't like put it together until you look back because shower out the show. I did and i looked looked over. And yeah okay. I didn't realize from like the backside. And then i had to leave. Kevin knows people. That's one thing if you see him out you'll like he's the one you'll always see out. I'm the guy behind the scenes. And i do the like you now. I'm more introverted. He's the guy that's out and meeting the people ledger peyton and i have the most. I have the most regular face. You will never notice me in the crowd. You'll be like there's one white dude bro. That's awesome so where's the coolest place that you feel like. You've played around your hands down the old saloon down immigrant. Just that there's a lot of characters down there as you agean and it's of course of venue. Nothing like anything that happens in south carolina. The new it's so new to me and I think the history there the just the people there the community there. They're all just so supportive and they like their good music. You know play in small towns. Like i mentioned like play like shared in montana few weeks ago and then i'm playing in wisdom montana on friday night i've never been to. I've never even heard of that. I've heard of it. Isn't that almost out toward the line. Idaho okay sounds like two and a half hours. There could be a wisdom. The other wonder which you get to the wrong line. The other was wisdom east west. They have a football ralph. Where every year the to was they had their five too bad joke. I'm sorry Us when was your first gig. Because you said you didn't start playing out. Yeah so man. I didn't even. I played open. Mike at the spoke at big sky was my first. That was my first time like really getting comfortable playing in front of people. And there's a guy who ran the open mic nyse names Everybody calls him hoppy. Nicest guy great musician as well. Great songwriter is names jake. Everybody calls him hopping. I remember getting up there. It was like tuesday nights. It'd be a late start at like ten o'clock so you know for tuesday night be like but it be so fun you know and i just kept i loved it kept doing it and and kept out and then i didn't have my first. My very first gig would have been an when i was working at. I worked guest ranch in paradise valley. I was kind of quantum at every the old saloon community the immigrant community down there. And i a buddy that ran an open mic night livingston at the medicine bar grill. Livingston has cleo cleo toll also great musician grazing songwriter. He's from he's from here or he's i think he's from oregon but he's lived here for a while but he ran that of mike night i would go there religiously one summer every monday night and that was another light when it goes into like one yes but again so fun and he had a gig at the mid one night and he's like hey i can't play this gig and you can you fill in for me. I'm like yeah sure man. Totally and mike. I don't really know what i'm doing guys got a pa system and all that and He's like yeah man that will out. I'm like all right here. Goes nothing in the. After that i was like man i i enjoyed that and then it was played on that little porch area. They to win. You know kinda unplugged and Just kind of trying to build a stage presence. Get comfortable and not be back home. If i ever played any open mic nights which i did maybe like once or twice i be shaken. You know and it'd be like a coffee shop when like where it'd be like really quiet. So everybody's focused on you. You could hear a pin drop. There really wasn't like the open. Mics were the real lake gateway into building that comfort. Because it's far enough. People are chitchat and some people watching some people aren't and it's not as not as anxious i saw as intimately there. Yeah so why not. Let me ask you this. Why not nashville or not. Yeah manso or somewhere. Around there nashville. Allston are definitely like in the scene of music. I would say those are the top you know cities of course huge cities and ruin like crazy which boseman is too. I think when you move to a place like that and for me not having any experience or anything in the music world nine planet. Gigs moved to nashville. You are. You're a small fish upon austin too. Sure yeah that makes sense. Yeah and but out here. I feel like a lot of a lot of those texas artist. From austin and nashville. Come through here. They tore through here. So you can kind of build a connection between those people that come through here if ever were to go to nashville or austin or somewhere like that. I already know somebody there who can kind of like a foot in the door and so kind of doing it in that And that approach. I guess But i don't know man. I mean the the music scene is really like it's it's growing here a law I got a buddy and missoula he. Lissouba was named jackson holte. And he's got a band called the highway patrol. They're probably one of my favorite bands. Ever heard i mean. I i i do enjoy their music. And he's a great writer but in a hint he's part of this more americana folk country scene you know but I think a lot of the gigs. From what i understand in that room and that scene are kind of going away from zuolin he come when you know normally year outside of covert. He'd come and play in this area. A lot more like livingston bozeman at safi had to drive from missoula in because You know. I think it's just it's kinda different scene you'd think the bigger city you know Of mizulina would have more of those gigs like that. But i think it's think it's somewhat kind of from what i hear declining there and growing here but i mean i could be wrong. I never really. I've never lived in missoula. I don't know exactly what's going on there but the housing market. There's it's taken off. That's whatever and there's a lot of places that they've kind of taken from the industrial side of town and just made these really high end kind of places that they're doing here. Basically yeah. I mean not as fast and i don't think they're going out of style quite as much but Yeah still still. Kind of the same thing. I think over there and Definitely southern missoula and northern up towards callas bells those little towns all the way up there blowing up. So i think the entire western. Yeah of montana's is everybody wants a piece of that. Divide i mean you know. I get it i get it jurists of some of this novas. Change some people's mind. Well it's kind of the winter and we'll see if levels out a little bit. We need like two months of negative twenty being from south carolina and ever experienced winter. Like this you know. Of course. I'm kind of i'm kind of surprised. It hasn't really hasn't really affected me too much. You know. I mean i enjoy it because it's so different from where i grew up. I guess i don't mind it so you ski a lot. Actually don't really anymore. I'm probably going to hell right. That's why i came up. I was gonna say wasn't that. I'm probably gonna probably gonna get out there little more than i have been winter. You know just. Because i am. I tough this year just with all the big resorts and yeah you have to like today ahead or whatever that's interesting. Yeah but but yeah. I don't know i. I might get out there. And there's a lot of risk involved as well as i'm not a good skier of course and so fall and break my arm. I'm out of laying music for a while. So if i fall break my leg and not. Mar moneymaker yeah. Yeah there's things like you know the the risk involved. I mean it is fun. I i do enjoy it and you know. I enjoyed working on a big sky. You get you get the free look pass. And it's not it's it's a good. It's a good employee. Community there to be. No there's working the front desk. You definitely see all personality types of folks go. I bet you know. But yeah the the employees Kinda keep him more grounded there and keep his saying because they're you know the them think the same as use like sure they're in the same and head space but yeah you're all the same thing together. Yeah it's it's not the same people and so there's a lot of connections to be made there totally better really kinda helps you out when you're going into like i didn't know anybody out here when i came out here and having those people that are just like down earth and level it. You know Would you do specific there. I just worked at the hotel front desk. He's guy yeah. Okay yeah just did that. For a couple of winter seasons work together and for a couple of seasons down ohka emigrant and then got a job at a bank in january and then now i'm working at gibson factory building guitars over. They're trying to screw anything up. Too bad huntley original gibson huntley told him that interview but they didn't. They didn't by next week. After i was kidding about that. Blueprints is kind of funny. Been playing more appointed martin for a long time martin and their martin's or they're kinda rivals in a way so yeah okay got people telling me you've gone. He got into the dark side. I mean they're both they're both great guitars both have great histories making guitars and man. You know i've never. I've never really done any woodworking or anything like that or working in factoria just seeing how tedious of a job. That is how to each little like you know. Part of making guitar is like i'm currently so i'm glue in the tops together. Currently is what they have me do. And okay before. They're just like right off the one of the first steps of the process and then putting these guys They call it. The rosette the circle around the sound hole. Yeah which. I didn't know it's actually two giant sticker isn't it what's that giant sticker isn't just he'll slap it on pill cheaper sorry stugotz. It's actually a plastic piece that you goo- in there. No kidding you have these plastic slats. Yeah and you turn to the side and you cut them up into strip small strips like this and you actually put them on their side and you put them in that pattern. Whatever the sound hole pattern and you just glued it right in there. That's crazy now. I've been trying to learn to do that. And it's so. It was like the the woods engraved like. It's not just laying it on top of it would write your machine that puts a little bit. Okay circle divet. Wow we're those go and then you go back in there and fill it with exact design alexander plastic smoothie down access for plastic. And and then you put a coat over it. Yeah yeah i think. That's you know what i don't know too much. What happens after..

"From zeba. Way prayed up to the good load big forgiven man in lowest his sins washed away now mom. She crossed joe biden on a rainy day muddy flooded about one if he'd had his home place klom float away his mama hollers dan from on a thirteen or fourteen. My older brothers When i was a kid. I grew up listening to them play. They never really played any gigs. Or anything you know out anywhere. But know i figured out since they did. I guess i figured i'd give shop shot at two and and just kind of kept at it. I guess what was that was that where was i'm from south carolina original. Oh nice so so. Yeah from florence south carolina. That's about an hour west of myrtle beach or two hours north of charleston south carolina. If you've ever been down there some beautiful places there You know it was fun. Go into visiting towns down there and everything and and you know as a kid you know basically a i decided to move up here. Never actually skied before. Never learn never learned to ski as a kid never went skiing ever and i moved out here. I got a job. Working at big sky ski resort. And where did you do for them. Actually worked The front desk at the huntley law. Really you know so. I just got regular front desk job. Wanted to never had seen the rockies before you know and and came out here and and just loved it man I remember my first season season at big sky. Worked to their first season. I went to my first. I guess real like music experience out here was like when i kind of discovered like man's this is cool. Scene was was big sky. Big grass down in big sky. Big bluegrass festival. Having you know guns for that one and You know some some some local wax will play laney. Lindbergh dogs play. And and you know couple months into me moving up here. I remember going to one of those shows. I think it was billy strings and i met Who's one of my buddies now. Haven't seen her but Taylor birla ge he's he was a part of the suite. Sage ban with amanda stewart and he was like the first person i kinda like in the scene. Did he move. he is. I think he fought. I think he's been fighting wildfires down in colorado this summer and i think he's just gotten back but i need to hit him up. Sin taylor if you're listening to this together do some and man but there. Your band retail had them over for like a kind of at home concert deal that we live streamed and they were good. Yeah they're good people to average garrett amanda and taylor and You know i. I definitely a definitely hope. They put together some show soon. I think tomba everything. The fan that was one of the last shows went to murray bar. and then it was sweet sage. I think they're now's a fun night. But then i think the next week or the week after it was like that's one every. Yeah wow yeah but yeah great people. That's crazy. And yeah. When i met taylor and you can just hit it off talking about music and stuff and i was like man. You know this. You know these artists that i like to you know you're around my age and like you don't really see that as much air back home where i'm from in south carolina. At least the people. I knew grew up. Grown up so yeah. There's kind of a niche or a niche songwriter. Kind of cult following here of people that really like that folk vein of artist very much. So and i think it does really well here in terms of writing music and performing also especially in different towns rather other than bozeman as well Do you perform anywhere else. Other than bozeman area do you get out mostly between here in paradise valley okay but recently this year have been getting out to more like smaller towns smaller gigs. You know like You know towns that. I've never heard of like you know a play the other week and Sheridan montana montana. I never been there. It's out by guess is by you. Go south in your twin bridges out there. A lot of towns that are named after famous towns manhattan hamster. Funny it is funny. Yeah there's some there's some funky town named down south to as you can imagine and south carolina. There's some there's some it's the weirdest one you remember. Oh man oh man. Well there's like some are like you know like that are named like address biblical towns like bethlehem and like and stuff like that interesting. I mean there's a lot of you know International you know town names to. I guess yeah kind of religious town. Yeah over yeah very much. That's awesome so what's the biggest difference between down there and up here. I guess i'll cash friday. I mean the culture is certainly a lot different. You know Down south. It's it's it's a it's a lot. It's a lot of church and about las churches lot of football. Yeah i mean you know. People are big football fans here downs. Downs out it's pretty much related. Yeah yeah it's a everybody's got a team down. There got basically you totally lot. Lots of trash talking going on. Yeah in schools are football teams or clemson in south carolina gamecocks. Yeah and they're like their rivals but clemson. They've had a really good football team. The last few years. And i've always felt the the the game fans are always more knowing than the clemson vans got glimpse stepped up their game. It's fun it's never really been into football or watching or anything but you know if there's trash begun don't even care about only a dog responding when it's not you exactly tell them get back shots fired on you were. What were you into as a care. Then in south carolina man in a mostly as like a really really young kid i was i was into i. I remember being into basketball. Actually you know a lot you know. It was never really good or anything. But you know i was a big fan of michael jordan also as in what space jam cam and everybody's a fan koby bryant feeling ill. Basketball jones soundtrack was far. Yeah i think it's mostly because my older brothers played basketball. I kinda go to games. I don't think i got into it with that. You know and then. I guess it wasn't until about house about thirteen or fourteen. You know kinda paying attention music a little more you know for that. I probably just listened to whatever's on pop radio at the time Sean kingston and what. Now all those golden.

"Becomes free and you know that leads to all sorts of chaos and. The government has taken over. It gets pretty weird. Yeah. That was that's an interesting one because I mean everybody. Everybody was walking around with gas masks in and And now it's just like people are and very bizarre like. All right yeah. We really couldn't have predicted that but it it looks just the way everybody's like dressed in acts towards the you know the apocalypse part of the movie. is a little bizarre now. it's wild. Yeah a lot of guns and and Gasman said, Stephanie was was. Was Interesting. It seems like you kind of. Kind of. kind of steer yourself towards the horror in defense. Yeah. Definitely. Past five, six years I think I've moved towards that like a lot more draws you there I mean I think my plotlines for always Kinda Kinda dark and. You know it's kind of. Comedy is really hard to do these days. people you take the value humor and you know sometimes you can throw in horror elements. So then things like trauma very popular and very. Hard to do that stuff now like people are very unhappy with a line of dialogue characters portrayed. So I, you know the way I get into it now is my pay I'm doing horror opposed to be dark it's supposed to be messed up. Some people still don't quite understand it but that's fine because it's supposed to be hat way and that's kind I feel like I'm more comfortable doing it. My think than Congress. I can't compete with like Hollywood level cry movies and a COP movies and It's really hard. Tack has all the cool stuff that they can do in that. You know with our you'd be a little inventive I guess yeah there's definitely some latitude that. All, right. Why don't we take a short break? "And what did he do he? He immediately found another church. Who's GONNA leave from one church and just rush right off to another church? Okay and just move on. And some people found out about it. That he was he was going to be hired and they went to the church and said No. We can't recommend this guy this time now. I do want to bring up something that was said in that. In what Matt Chandler said in that video he said it was a grievous sin. Yes but we can't. He's not qualified at this time. Which means even village church was acknowledging that there could be reconciliation on this now they make it sound like no we said he. He shouldn't be fit from any ministry. At least according to what the some bloggers are saying so it sure seems like the bloggers are giving cover to Matt Chandler. Who saying they're just they're taking what he's saying verbatim but questioning everything. Thomas to sing when Matt Chandler is the one with the history of not practicing meth. I Timothy Five twenty. He's the one that has the the history of disciplining the victim and having to apologize for it. You know this is the thing that you end up seeing here. The Ma- is the one that has the history of saying in September that there was someone that was being investigated for sexual assault of a child but in October. He says he was drunk. Okay so he isn't being clear. So so who's worked? We believe it's really this simple. It's really this simple. There is some one thing that I see. That's a one to one analogy. And that is tone because tone what Matt Chandler supposedly claimed is he was fired for. The tone was fired for for drinking for petty drinking. Not For allegations of sexual assault to a minor. So if this is the case you now see what you know. He's done this once. He's done it again with with Dr More. He didn't say exactly what it was to the church. So you have two different cases where you have a lot more. That went on that. They didn't make clear. So are we to believe that he really made it clear. Thomas White that this guy was really wrong and you know there was all this you know history. They gave him and said you can hire and Thomas White just ignored village church and Matt Chandler and hired anyway. Now that may be the difference is if I look at the facts that we have so far. I have to say Matt Chandler. Adam minimum no matter what happened with Cedar Ville Matt Chandler and village. Church needs to step down and for for this blogger. Who wants to say that Thomas White needs to step down but not mentioned Matt Chandler? I think it's because he's a Social Justice Warrior. Okay completely biased. It's completely biased. Because Matt Chandler passed the buck. He didn't follow scripture. He didn't do as I timothy says he did not Repu- him in the presence of all and as I said earlier in the show that word rebuke there is an imperative. That's a command. God is commanding this to be the behavior you have with pastors and you know what I can't. We can't stress enough that Matt Chandler in this video that he did a week to two weeks after the allegation in two thousand seventeen. He said we believe that he is unfit for Ministry at this time. Just like you just said at this time that softens what he seems to be backtracking on now because I don't think he would say at this time based on the allegations that he's claiming right now what he says he told Thomas Way. Okay so saying at this time softens it it allows for for restoration. Okay and a job back okay. And and being able to job in the future leading everything for Thomas White to think that. There's there's some there so he what does he do. He sets strict counseling and process of reconciliation. It's GonNa take at least five years. He did did all his homework. There's no police report. Why because Matt Chandler didn't do his responsibility as a mandatory reporter in Texas and report the crime. He didn't do that so he they. WanNa blame Thomas White but no one wants to blame chandler. This is the problem. Matt Chandler failed he he sinned by not twice now twice he did not for those who persistent Sam rebuke them in the presence of all and that failure is costing Cedar Ville and every wants to go after Cedar Ville they're not going after Chandler and village church and I would say that if anyone who signed the petition to have Thomas White resigned. You better start a petition to have Matt Chandler and Village. Church resign as well. Otherwise you're a hypocrite. Because they send as well but their sin is what caused this one at a minimum. Because even if let's let's take worst case scenario say they did tell Thomas. All the information k. If Chandler was public about it Thomas Way never been able to even if you sit there and say well. We told them but he hired against our our instruction okay. Let's assume that happened. Would they be able to hire him? If Matt Chandler made this public the answer's no if all this if you're the argument is that that. Somehow Thomas was trying to help a friend because this is the argument that Thomas White was trying to help a friend and get them a job and so he was lying to his board of trustees and lying to the faculty and everything else. If that's the case had met Chandler done his job everyone would have known it and Thomas White wouldn't have been able to lie about it if the if he did that. They're claiming right so it's very simple. There's there's one place to start this blame. There's one place where we know there was failure. How do we know it? We heard it tonight in his own words Matt Chandler. Read the statement that he and the pastors the village church put forth to be read and it didn't rebuke him in the presence of all. It was watered down mild gave opportunities for reconciliation. And they let them go being that they that they have that pattern. I think they are to blame. I think that what we end up seeing here is that someone should start to petition for Matt Chandler to resign and those at village church. That also didn't follow. Matthew five twenty. So why do I keep saying Matthew I timothy? I've done it consistently. I don't know why it is I timothy. I think I know what it is. I'm preaching this week. In in in mark to where Levi or matthew comes to be a disciple of Christ so I guess Matthew. I've been studying a lot of matthew at this this week so I guess that must be eighteen as well. It'd be but that's not why I think so. We ended up. Seeing is is that Matt Chandler did not practice I timothy five twenty and he let a sexual Predator move out to another area. Now it wasn't ministry. Oh this is one thing I did. WanNa show let me show one more thing that I think is important with this blogger because I want to show you what his tactics are. Okay because when you read these blog articles I want you to know you need to put critical thinking when you read these things. Now what you have here is a list of of Faculty. Okay new faculty from two thousand seventeen two thousand eighteen. And so if you go through this list Dr Moore was hired two thousand seventeen and you go through this list. What do you notice and this guy says it? If you've noticed that Anthony. More IS NOT PICTURED. You are a sharp observer. Does anyone other than me. Wonder if emitting more is just a coincidence. I'm sure there's a perfectly valid reason or maybe not. Here's the simple reason you know. He's not listed with the faculty in two thousand seventeen. Who is this like a million dollars? Go for what. What's The answer Maybe Kizzie wasn't faculty member Vans Right. He wasn't as faculty he was hired. As an administrator he was in the admissions office for now. This is the irony. The Social Justice Warriors should be defending more. You'd think he's an African American who is hired in admissions to to help with diversity. He was someone who was sexually abused as a child to me. Let's see how many intersection points this. Anthony African American Ding Ding Ding. That's one sexually abused to. Diversity is his is he's he's and Versi homosexual tendency homo ding ding. Okay four points. Four intersection outy points. He has homosexual tendencies. But as you've as you've heard me teach intersectional you have one factor that brings you right back zero. Ns in Christian and hopefully we made our point. Well at least Steve Wolfe here. Not that he's a wolf. That's just his last name. Immune I guess what you know these guys with these names. I mean see rappaport. You can't use you know Silvestro. You can't kind of mixing but but Steve Wolfe says. I Agree Chandler. Village is really to blame in every bit of this and of course anthony more and he's right. Anthony Moore should not have lied if that's what he ended but he had at a minimum would have been you know lying to Jason Lee unless there he must be in on it too right keeping it from all the faculty the this is the thing so I I really. This is not something that Anthony I wanted to do but I think that maybe I had a little bit of a righteous indignation because of the fact that I saw everyone piling on with one guys one guy who broke. The story writes ten articles about it. You I've already shown you that he he probably. He seems to have a bias as well. He's had this issue with Cedar Ville for a long time from from when white got there and people started leaving because they were liberals that's why they were leaving. They weren't conservative Christians. They were liberal Christians so they were leaving. This guy had an had an issue with that. He seemed to to have this. Hebrew breaks the story. Everyone's using his articles and he writes several articles. That will the that does is. It gets you a lot of clicks. It's Click Bait but what do you see? Would you don't see as as we've seen he claims to have evidence doesn't give you the evidence over and over again he he uses logical fallacies he leads he poisons the well he's he's leading you in conclusions and so over and over again? He's appealing to things that prove that his arguments are invalid. Okay and so. This blogger should not be trusted as source you know who should be trusted as a source the independent investigation that Cedar Ville Trust the trustees. A Cedar Ville hired to do the investigation. That's where we should start to trust and they haven't ruled yet they're still investigating so anyone who signing the petitions to remove Thomas White too soon. You have the information. The only information you have is the guy who started the this stuff. Who's writing all this stuff? Who's a social justice warrior? Probably as far as we can tell and who quite frankly is lying to his readers. Why because there's a very simple reason. There's nothing nefarious on. Why Anthony Moore was not pictured with the faculty in two thousand two thousand seventeen? Anyone should be able to pick up on that as anthony did because he wasn't faculty they're not listening the janitors in their either. They're not listening to any other administration there either. I wonder I didn't do this but I just thought this now. I wonder if we go back and see. Did they announced faculty advisors or advisors administration new new administration. I wonder if he's listed under new administration. That'd be interesting because if that's the case then we know that this guy didn't do his homework but the simple thing is this and this all this this. This whole show is to point out. Two things really well. A couple of things might be more into one your doctor white. As far as we know we trust him to be innocent until proven guilty. We we assume that he is right. He's kept a consistent story he's had integrity and for those reasons we take his story especially with the fact that it's all hinged on the fact that the claim is that he knew everything from the pastors at from Chandler and the pastors at Village Church when they have a history of softening things. They're the history of getting things wrong. We've demonstrated that as well and you know what the irony some of those things. We demonstrated our from the same guys blogs some of the information I got from things he said and I followed the links so he should have known better. He should've known the background was there. So here's the thing you should assume until proven otherwise. Thomas White is in the right. You should not be signing petitions to have them removed. You should be signing petitions however to remove Matt Chandler and Village Church. You should be blaming them. If you're blaming Thomas White and not matching learn village church. Then there's only one word for that hypocrite because they're the ones who failed and caused the problems for Cedar Ville so Cedar Ville now. It's the deal with Matt Chandler's failure to do his biblical responsibility. So this is a thing. Couple things that we were trying to express one. Thomas Whites we want to assume is in the right until proven otherwise Matt Chandler needs to repent of his handling of Dr more a tomb and these others. Anyone else that he may have fired or let go. And Not Rebuke Them. If you're if you have pastors who are doing this if you're in a church keep them accountable that they should be doing this. They should be saying exactly why someone is stepping down and what the issues are okay. A so as a way of closing out. I'll just put this Steve Wolfe says.
