S will while this fight is happening. The fire that nick started in the locker room had taken off an manage to start melting the wax in the museum so the floor is melting. So they're going to be trapped if they don't get out soon while the other dude with long black haired managed to find his way out of the fire of course he attacks them. We'll carly yells at him. She starts going up the stairs. Which i feel like as a pretty bad move when you're in a house made of wax melting. Yes but she went up the stairs. Trying to get the dude away from nick because nick just been stabbed in the leg nice but realize you are sacrificing yourself exactly well. She runs upstairs into a bedroom trying to hide. But everything's made wack so vincent as able to cut his way through the melting wax door. He attacks carly. She manages a stave off. Nick manage to haul himself up the amounting stairs just in a hole opens in the floor. Vincent falls through the whole unto the fire. He's gone but now nick and carly are trapped upstairs and a melting house. Finally nick has amazing idea. Look the walzer wax ryan. Dig our way out. It's melting let's regardless so just in time they dig a hole through the wall and escape the house as it melts behind them. Okay lucky for carly and nick. Someone saw the smoke from the fire. A few miles away. Call it in to to find what was going on. They found carly who told them the story. The police had no idea that anyone even still lived in the town. They said that it had been abandoned for years and when they did a more thorough investigation they found a nearby sugar mill which was full of cars and cell phones which just backed up. The people had gone missing that hit their cars there and they'd been kidnapped murdered and turned into wax figures. Is this the famous house of wax. Starring one paris hill because chad michael. Now i mean bass boot. Yeah i get all of these. People have made good world war two films and now the here. We are at company of heroes. Can they pull it out again. Aren't give him a lot. During the last days of world war two an allied victory seemed certain. Allied forces are unaware however hitler's weapons team is very close to perfecting the atomic bomb. If the nazis a-bomb they will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in belgium the. Us army lieutenant is cocky about victory. So he sends a squad of infantry to deliver christmas. Ham's to the front lines. When the troops get ambushed by nazi patrol. Their sergeants is killed. The survivors include. Lieutenant dean ransom. A demoted cook played by tom. Sizemore and new recruit and sniper. Nate boroughs played by chad michael collins and then there's some others. The soldiers tried to make their way back to camp to warn of the german offensive but on their way they stumbled onto one of the nazi bomb test sites they encounter a bird secret service agent dying and he asked the troops to complete his mission finding disabled the bomb and liberate the german atomic scientist. They take on the mission but find themselves pursued by german troop led by commandant beam lower but as their brothers at arms fall ransom and burrows pick up some other allies including british airmen willoughby played by vinnie jones and russky soldier pisarski they get to the site and the crew escaped with scientists. Dr grunwald played by now. They disabled the bomb though. They are betrayed by the russian who escaped with grunwald notes. Thanks to air support. The team escapes and are told. They're heroes but no one can ever know because the methodist classified and credits roll and i have to tell you coming in this movie. I felt like i knew one thing having played the game. And seeing how expendable all my troops were and how many troops. I die. And i had to just sit around waiting for the barracks to produce more. You call this company of heroes. I think i'm seeing a movie about a bunch of martyrs. I think everyone will be dead when the credits roll. Yeah you call it like the dirty does except there's only like five people in this movie like change their outfits run red around behind the camera and come back. Yeah everybody onscreen feels expendable from jump street it just nobody is grabbing my attention onscreen. Oh come on. Chad michael collins. Apparently they have. He's the star his nate. We will have him established in the first scene. As even he's been on the battlefield for only three weeks. He's an excellent sniper. Apparently he that is his job. Like sniper remember this movie with tom. Berringer and billy zane from like thirty years ago. Yeah they're still making them. He is in sniper four through eight. He is the star of sniper series. When we run out of series. You just seen our future having you. Apparently tom beard. You're and billy zane take turns ones like okay. I'll do seven eight but they're still at it too. I can't imagine how good that quality is here but yeah he is the generic american hero that we're getting here. They give them some kind of conflict in that early on. He talks about whether he doesn't know if he believes in god and he's holding his dad's purple heart because his dad died on the war. One battlefield in france. Is that enough to pass for a character. I know that they don't have characters in the game. But this feels thin anaemic finn and unconvincing like. It's all just a little too much like rookie. First day on the job this thrust upon him. He's not willing to leave anybody behind the whole time. It's like at some point learn. You know it's like that not everybody who gets shot in the battlefield salable at some point. You got to cover your own ass dizzy. No he's a good sniper or does he just pick up a gun in his like. Let me see how this works bang. I'm a marksman. I really can't tell these opening. I can't tell anything about this whole movie. I even the. Let's talk about the these battle scenes. Let's talk about the cgi enhancement that. They've john because the one way you know this is a video game is because it looks like it has the graphics of an early atari video game passing for explosions. Hey this is much better than combat. The game that came with sorry not even heckling the movie for this. I feel like it was a missed opportunity. If you don't have the money to pull this movie off and we can all agree. They didn't have the money to pull this movie off. Why not go for something stylized. Why not go for something where you can see the seams but it still looks cool. Something like sin city which is obviously an artificial world all green screen but who cares because it's got atmosphere like they should have just said look. We can't pull this off. Let's go on location. We're not gonna walk on snow. We're going to do some kind of cgi backdrop movie and maybe we can make it cooler than this. You know they do that now. If you watch the disney show. The man delorean. They have this technology where they just have like a big screen backdrop and so instead of blue screening or anything they just turn on a television and it has the backdrop there and a curved background that they can walk against things but imagine. That stuff still looks photo realistic. I bet you're not sitting there thinking now. Oh really okay. I'm probably one of the few. But i really think the mandatory looks bad because of that background. My point is even when you have bad effects and you just can't pull it off that's gonna get creative right. That's when you say okay. This is a video game movie. Stylized it we're going to make it look like it is an atari game and we'll just go with that but you can't do that if you're going to do drama and the shock of this movie is this is going to be like they do everything but bacon an apple pie right khanna through in through the they're just trying to sell like we see shots of tattered american flags and you know he talks about his mother and the title shot where you see the title company of heroes without american flag and the sun behind. I mean it just feels like if they're not adopting a video game it feels like they're adapting like you see those shirts people wear of like an eagle and a flag on it. This is really tacky. And i just feel like it's all got to say. Unfortunately this is a movie about an american at war that doesn't even have perspective about war. It is just. America is cool. And i kinda like the setup here. They talk about the fact. they're arrogant. They think it's the end of the war and so people are starting to get a little bit sloppy. The they're convinced that this battle that that kicks off the movie is just the last remnants of some you know describe is fourteen year old germans who have broken rifles out in the woods and there's no real force left and so again the the sets up the idea that hitler really does have a surprise super weapon to unveil and these. This crew is going to stumble on as they tried to deliver christmas..

"The highest. And then this one all right. Let's see where we ended up. All right painda what you think about this movie. Your hot take so. I really liked this movie. I i'll tell you why. I like it for a couple reasons. I like it. Because i like alleys character in this. She's not effervescence. she's not the bubbly person. she's on interesting. Well i think she's more serious. Like i think and i like that i did not mind it. You know murray. He's the same in every movie he ever plays like he chuckles a lot in this movie. He chuckles mount tackle head. He's he's he's real chuckle boy. The plot does not make a lot of sense here. And i mean that sincerely. This plot could easily be resolved in a couple minutes with anyone who uses their brain at all and so as a result of that. This is unfortunately for me the worst of the summer movies. But you like the law die like it but i think there's frank the season this is. This is as standard by standard for me as homework. Movie is you can get. But that doesn't mean i disliked loved the locale. I liked the vibe. That they were putting off. There's some really fun scenes with the clam bake. You know the claim beggars really fun for you. I think it was endearing how because they were baking clams and they were all toasting one another and you could tell us just a little intimate connection. The they're just friends. I would have you guys over for clam bake if i like clams clams so i probably wouldn't do it but if i were to do you guys and we'd all do you sell your you're just you're just voices gun So yeah i have this as a big fun may four so four thousand four movies or four out of ten for so decided. I think the kiss seen was the first thing that they filmed of the movie. And these two actually like had a little something something going on and then they got mad at each other and the rest of the movie. They did after that first. This white the theory. "So it's it gives me some sort of hope that everybody hasn't given up on the bar scene even though we've lost a lot of bars in the last year or two am there's some hope for something new and different and hopefully in a new and different for the kids. I mean adamant. I don't go out anymore. We don't go out of ours where we go out when working and we get our socializing in ben neither of us drink anymore So you know the future's for the kids building a three story club they're gonna have blast and that's what you know what that's what that's what the kids are for their here to have fun and remind us of of beauty and youth and build it up for him snake a playground and i know when i was coming out and i'm sure it's the same with you. The bar scene was pretty important to developing our personalities and allowing us to be who we want it to be to express our authentic self. What role do you feel that. The gay bar scene had on your coming out experience and on the development of your career while i mean on me just me a place i could go. Let let my guard down and just be me and Let my risk olympic lisp. A little bit. I mean you know just little wiggle in your walk and not get you're asking for or call the failure or whatever it that's what that's it was for me. It was a place to go and breeds and and see my friends and get laid and party fun. I mean that's that's what it was. And but you and i both know that it was never that easy. I mean we. You know we were still facing so much homophobia and stuff and like you know even in the nineties like it was still kind of a little bit top new you know to queer and you know go to the gay bars and stuff so i mean it hasn't been as like this free open atmosphere like it is now you know what i mean. So even in the midst of us breathing we were still a tight. You know what i mean whereas hopefully now with the kids and hopefully they can realize this. They can breeze and it's because we were uncomfortable. You know what i mean like. Yeah i mean we had some some little pockets of safety there. Were you know like we ho midtown in atlanta there were neighborhoods that it was a little bit easier to walk down the street holding your boyfriend's hand yes or to go to dinner with a group of five somewhat effeminate men and not have everybody stare at you. Yeah for the most part. That was not the case for the most part. The bars were the only place we could interact on that level and not be putting up facades and pretending that we were not gay or we were in a part of the mainstream culture. Was exactly what i'm talking about. Exactly and i can in regards to how it fed my career like i said it's it's been for the gays since the very beginning i have. It's the support of the gays. That lifted me up that Gave me the confidence to do what i do so i mean it's all because of that. No it's not certainly not because of any straight us supported me. It's all it's all because of the gays and it will always be for.

All these places in atlanta at the jungle and backstreet In long beach california at ripples in laguna beach at the boom boom room in los angeles at mickey's in your hometown of san diego at the brass rail in we ho rage in denver tracks escondida in new york city legends in raleigh north carolina. Play in both of their locations nashville and louisville in hydrate and chicago river city cabaret in jacksonville southern nights orlando and parliament house in orlando south beach in houston texas and a number of hamburger. Mary's locations so yeah and there's more to those are just like you know off the top of my head all right. let's talk about the parliament. House i went to the parliament house in orlando far before drag race. I mean a decade decade for drag race and worked with dr sell stevens and her original cast and visited there many many times over the years with as for cast rotated out with different people including like sassy divine still in Who still down there. In orlando and mike good friend. Who was a stage manager there. Christopher guy and list of people goes on. it's just you know. The parliament houses a very special animal. They had a showroom had a leather bar. They had a video bar. They had a cool and a motel attached so it was the den of iniquity. And you know. I i stopped going down there after i got with my partner adam because it was you know you get in trouble down there. When you're a single person. But i tell you i had some great times there with some great people. I've met some long lasting friendships. They're done some great shows was honored enough to have my picture. Hang on that wall right there next to the stage when you walk in from the dressing room. So you know. There's not any one thing from the p. house it's just it's an overall experience and it was a really magical place in. It's it's so sad we lost it. It's it's level now as. I'm sure that you know but that i will always. That's one thing that that's place at all always say p. house..

"Tickling are are gay muscles as young men. So i was a big fan of hers and you know was a very theatrical child. So always dressing up as one thing not always drag. You know it was. It was e- it was any number of things you know dressing as a kid. But you know when it came to a point where i wanted to star impersonating. Madonna was obviously my go-to and i just couldn't pull it off. I just don't have the facial structure for we tried. We tried we tried. We tried so My drag mother hunter really wanted to help me get into the show that the dreamgirls review so he put me in drag a share the first time and that's where it all started You know i. I knew of share watched sonny and cher growing up but You know madonna was my first choice so my relationship was share. Has it's been one. That's grown over the years. And it's been a learning process in a labor of love. And you kinda you kinda work with what you've got in this industry especially when you want to do lookalikes so you go with who you look like and My drag mother helped me find my way and find my lookalike among many other things now after the dreamgirls experience a major turning point in your career was working at lacoste in a show featuring celebrity impersonators. What was that experience like so early in your career. Well i joined in. I joined the caution Ninety seven and i ended up Leaving ninety nine it was at the time the pinnacle of you know every drag queens career aspirations You know the majority of drag at that time was you know either pageant drag or impersonation so if you wanted to work if you wanted to have a career and make money you you really you know at that time. Wanted to have look like you're about so you know it was a dream. Come true to get the job. I actually did a. I did a contest a few months before. I was hired at the rivera in las vegas and it was the causes something anniversary talent search and i think i took first runner up. And so that kind of put me in their in their sights and then there was an incident with one of the entertainers and he got fired and that that laid my my spot open. And so i joined like i said in ninety seven and i stayed there for about a year and a half. It was very exciting. It was A lot of work we did. Fourteen shows a week a two nights a week. We had three shows I was doing celine dion and share in the show and It was a great training ground for for really doing your characters because if you're in a regular drag show you're doing your character and then you're doing comedy number and you're doing a dance number. You're not focusing on one. So i got a chance to focus on one thing while i was there. Which was my look-alikes end. you know. I started honing my makeup honing my performance skills even more and for me..

Abhorred emphasis on the. When. You're eighteen. They'll tell you when you're over twenty six nobody wants you then you need S. Over thirty nobody wants you then your early thirties forties death if you're gay and then this comes you know the goal and then you get those ages and you're just like I'm just as fierce as I was back then. Yeah I mean in some in some ways. I would argue that maybe you're fiercer. I think that well, culturally right it's it's not in every culture. Is there sort of this idea of growing old being a bad thing, but it's definitely an American idea for sure or Western young and then I think if you are queer especially a gay man, you know we we adopted so many of the worst parts of. Misogyny. And so we apply that to each other and then I i. Yeah. I think for a lot of queer men sadly. It's a real thing. It's a real problem. Well, it even like in talking about intergenerational relationships or even like you know if you are somebody who is above the age of thirty and you're at a bar and you start flirting with somebody, you know this is the thing is like a lot of these twenty year old tw- inks are hit me on the hookup APPs but out in public, there are like there goes all thousand. And I met you were sending me or Dick Pic last week are you talking to your little secrets? We go out in public. Worrying a mask. Anymore. I'm really loving the mask culture because finally. People to see my face and they can. Say. They just don't even see it. Well, it's like it's like a facelift in sunway tooth kissing goodbye nobody knew. What you're doing you're you're giving into those those ideas of you know this negative ideas about aging. This is about like you know for years we've heard Middle Eastern women. I really like hiding my face and feels very comfortable. People are after. Them they not to stare at me Yes yes. Yes. So I'm basically just a robot out perfect on everybody just staring at you know staring at anything I want without repercussions about like when you're like totally like staring at a guy is like in you're wearing the mask he can't see when you like licking your lips underneath the mash. Literally drooling once in a while might might mask. The wetness comes through but. Like little, otherwise they how do they know and this is a this is good for straight men to know this like when you're not when you're a straight guy and you think you're too cool for the mask, all of us gaze wearing masks we're just.
