"This is Chad Benson it's about time in terms of your exposure we think more than fifteen minutes it's about space how far apart are you from people around you six feet better than one foot how many people are in the area how densely populated or crowded your environment is and the place are you inside or outside yes we think outdoors is safer but these four factors really point to the increased risk we're going back out numbers are spiking across the country we're emerging from our rumination or hibernation we're getting back out there numbers are spiking the last two weeks the the focus on George Floyd his death the protest didn't change the fact that the crowd of ours hasn't gone anywhere and the thought of it being seasonal seems to have passed and now we're starting to come to grips that this thing is going to be here and may just continually be here pandemic global epidemic regional endemic always here HIV is endemic it's not gonna work it's not a season for it we don't have therapeutic for as far as the crown of ours we have actually those therapeutic I I think we've got things that we're trying that seem to work as a vaccine we're still probably six months at best to a year away for the all of that being said we have to get out there and we have to start rebuilding that's a that's a tough thing when you're worried about could there be a second shot down could there be a second shutdown is that a possibility if we continue at all at a rate like this we're facing a significant chance that we're gonna have to shut down the state again that's scary the doctor talk about setting down states again on the other side of it you look around and say okay we're re opening how do we do it in such a way that is smart understanding there's risk finding out who the people that are at most risk which all that are generally at most risk on healthy people people in their eighties and we talk about sixty five but the reality is it's seventy eighty people who have underlying health conditions the average person well there's a risk it is minuscule compared to other people the elderly people who are in the system living facilities for whatever reason they had a stroke they were in a car accident so those people are at tremendous risk so protecting them becomes utmost the rest of us need to do what we can to social distance but we also need to be able to live our life you still should be wearing a mask you still should be trying as best as possible to have that physical distancing you still need to wash your hands as often as you possibly can and avoid congregation in large numbers smart things like I avoid large numbers I thank you he was asked me was really a long time she let a good concerts C. what lessons accounts second time ago only only parking on a fight with people I don't do any of that stuff on a wait line anywhere get off my lawn I think there's a kid to like as a kid I hated crowds one of it is like when I go to the movies even if I'm by myself in a movie it's a late night movies one of my cheesy horror movies was gonna be like me and five other people because opens up on a Friday but they do with those late night Thursday night showings I'll go to that also on the on yes I just not my thing so I social distance by nature but a lot of people don't we do need human interaction I just have a smaller circle we can do the best that we can to to social distance but the reality is there's still always going to be a risk with something like this and as a nation and as governors reemerging try to figure out how to do this what are the risk factors and what are they willing to say look this is what we need to do we need to be mature about this we need to be smart about this wear a mask whenever possible in situations like that where one in the car if you're by yourself or with your family for god sakes come on but other situations too is much as you can to wash your hands not touch your face wear a mask and you know don't be an idiot and if you're over sixty five are you have underlying health conditions you need a bunker in place and we need to start setting up special the way I would look at it the way I am because I'm waiting here with the spike that we had Arizona okay when's the governor gonna come out usually does on Thursday but last night on MSNBC and CNN he he was the I mean they're looking at him because they've we're here in Arizona we've gone up the most and his plan has been which S. picking choosing some of these numbers but if you have a plan come out and say look this what we're doing we're gonna mitigate the rest as much as we possibly can for the elderly and the medically fragile we're gonna do we can't get the resources around them and to make sure that the people that are working with them barred limited in exposure.

Intelligence report warned of coronavirus crisis as early as November: Sources
"President trump has been making noises about maybe cutting funding to the World Health Organization accusing it of missing the call on the pandemic but what about the U. S. multiple sources tell ABC news there were warnings in late November a very very small little known intelligence agency inside the defense department they actually reported that there was some sort of contagion that was so serious in November in China that was leading to a change of pattern of lifestyle and business they were able to see a really really critical problem that the Chinese did not have under control A. B. C.'s Josh Margolin the Pentagon says no such warning exists

"Independent thoughts independent life this is Chad Benson the numbers are so far much better we want to keep it that way if you look at the original projections and if we did nothing it would be disastrous if we we decided to do something we closed it down I had no choice it was a good move that was a good move the early China was a good the food was a good move but a lot of good moves but closing and that was a big state there was a big important thing but we're looking to have far fewer deaths than originally thought China far fewer deaths why because the models are saying so with the models have been wrong the models are based on certain things and because human beings involved so we're all involved were human beings and we can alter our behavior in doing so we can change the course of this that's what we've done there were two paths we could have taken we could have said we're gonna try for herd immunity do it sweetens doing we'll find out what that looks like or we can start to lock things down get a handle on it as best we can and continue to search for not only a vaccine but treatments separate from each other physically not social distancing I don't like that physical distance thing because you can still talk to people that silly and we'll see where we go that's what we've done some states have done it more than other states the end of the day are we getting a handle on it I think so models originally horrific we're gonna lose potentially two point two million even half that would've been like whoa then it was cut down like five hundred thousand started alter behavior then it was cut down to two hundred and forty thousand that was cut down to somewhere between a hundred two hundred thousand then it was cut down to eighty nine thousand and now they're looking at sixty thousand I say somewhere between thirty and forty maybe fifty thousand and this is over a period of time through August so you got all of April left may June July and then August five months is that possible yeah could you get down to the point where we lose twenty five or thirty thousand also possible models will change you use models to try to figure things out on what you're going to need also use models as you look at these things and the data to find out who is really potentially going to struggle with this one of the things are looking at is the African American community what's going on there how's that struggle been it's been big it has been also with people over the age of sixty five people with underlying health conditions so do you use these models to try to gauge and and figure out exactly what the mortality rate is try to do the best you can with the infection rate what does it look like how fast is it spread but because humans can alter this because we are humans and we have choice and we do certain things we can change the course for for better or worse and so far it looks like we're doing for better three two three five three twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson show is your Twitter feel free to tweet ME you can tax the program as well states are doing the things that they're supposed to be doing which is helping in the past twenty four hours new cove it nineteen cases here in California have risen under eleven percent I see you cases up just two percent governor Gavin Newsom says those lower numbers are encouraging he says social distancing is working in the curve is flattening it is pending but it's also stretching he says modeling shows the cases will keep rising slower than before but for a while and a California speak won't come for a few more weeks and what a second look like because the peak is one of those things where and what we're finding out here in Arizona our peak was supposed to be April twenty six now they pushed out to may being a tougher month and I'm like whoa hold on a second you guys are pushing it out yet we're looking at the numbers and the numbers aren't jiving with what you're saying and part of that that's good we're gonna have anticipation but I'm also looking to see what states are putting themselves in positions where they're sending health care professionals to places like New York New Jersey to help where they're sending ventilators to other places because they overestimate what they needed and they were able to kind of you know put a put the foot down on the brake and slow it down and so now they've got a little bit of a surplus and they could send it to other places that may be a neat California Washington state doing well New York still struggling yesterday it was one of those days where it was ugly the death rate was high we won't know until probably late late tonight or early tomorrow what today looks like some people saying it's either today or yesterday that will be the peak of their death and that'll start to slowly but surely come down models they matter data matters especially when you're finding out okay who's got what right you know how old are you you're sixty seven you've got diabetes no PC where we find out about this thing underlying health conditions not good by the way underlying health conditions even if you catch the flu not good with this really bad with the flu potentially be really really bad it's amazing it is it's amazing to see that this is really an eye opener for for a lot of people it really is I think that like wow how to shape our way obesity is playing a huge role in this diabetes he's also one of the things are looking at because it seems to be that eighty five percent of the people that are dying or been hospitalized in New York or obese and either have COPD most of them have diabetes that's that's an eye opener right there it is do it well so what does that say health matters in a lot of ways and there's things we can do to avoid some some my grandmother was that Israel entire life she had juvenile diabetes has nothing to do about that but there's a lot of things that we can do to better ourselves and we should all be looking at this in a way to go maybe it's time to really get serious about health three two three five three twenty four twenty three accidents show is your Twitter feel free to tweet at us you can text the program as well I have concluded that this battle for the democratic nomination will not be successful and so today I am announcing the suspension of my campaign now he suspended his campaign aides are shocked face I think it's safe to say that we have socially distance ourselves from Bernie's campaign and his socialist politics share it's over it's done Bernie we're sorry we're sorry you you thought you had a path in your path was blocked by voters not Joe Biden I cannot in good conscience continue about the campaign they cannot win thanks if members would interfere with the important work required of all of us in this difficult hour yeah here's one thing he did say I watched some of his little good bye the thing that he gave and I found this to be interesting he said that the younger generation we won that and this will be a generational and he's absolutely right it's not if but when one day there will be an opportunity that's real that somebody with Bernice ideas of not the free market but high taxes kind of way that they look at things in Scandinavia but of Bernice radical ideas will have a real chance at the White House some day that will happen that's going to happen I'm telling you now your data first okay what anybody says now we may change my quick we have put somebody in the White House it may go south fast and we may say screw it we're gonna stack the you know is Senate then and house with more conservatives and put a block to all of it but I do believe at some point in time with the changing demographics and the generation that Bernie will see his dream come to fruition I want to express the interview my deep gratitude for helping to create an unprecedented grassroots political campaign Bernie we thank you thank you for doing what you did which was whatever you did we did you would do good night now three two three five three twenty four twenty three accidents shows your Twitter three two three five three twenty four twenty three that's events and shows your Twitter feel free to tweet ME get text the program as well we asked the question get a lot of interesting answers people texting in about when they feel their life will go back to normal after we leave this situation here one to three months forty seven percent say it'll take about one to three months for them to feel normal again after shelter in place is down three to six months has about eighteen percent six months to a year ten percent and who knows he's twenty three percent one to three months I think for a lot of people it's been probably about two to three months on average for most people but they're gonna be some people out there that it's going to take them a while and it's good this is psychological side of this that is it is that's going to be very real you know testing things you know can you get past the not washing your hands every thirty seconds that every time you open the door knob right but you know open up the door and you go to turn the knob you're like it's you know there's that that and the fear of what if this thing pops up again and and we all have to shelter in place I don't want to take that chance again and so even if you're going out doing your thing she may not be spending money like you used to you maybe you know digging yourself out of a hole and then saving saving saving which will slow the economy down as well three two three five three twenty four twenty three at seventeen Charlo is your Twitter when I say something car shield is here to help plans starting as low as ninety nine dollars a month call eight hundred car six thousand Manduca Benson when you do save ten percent right there and you tell them what you got maybe a causal bit newer you want your worry about the "It isn't ability that matters. It's where you rank on the privilege hierarchy, it's not hard to imagine that perverse effects of this under new standards. If you worked hard in the state married for the sake of your children, your kids will be punished for that. That's a little bit much. But that's what I was just asking earlier is there is there somewhere where you would be penalized, because my son, maybe has some advantages that other kids have, but there are other kids out there. More vantage a him what point in time? Do you say okay because of this, we're going to check this your mom and dad, you're not raised by a single parent if you will, you know, your mom and dad are still around they may not be married, but they're still around together, so you're not. Being just right. I mean, are they going to start checking things off? I think that's when you don't tell people the scoring goes. That's not always good snot and it is ridiculous. It is doesn't mean that we should figure out a way to help kids who do struggle. That's what we should be doing rather than going in and saying, well, we're going to start making up these pseudo weird science stuff to, to try to figure stuff out again. It's your school. You can kind of do what you wanna do and your school, my correct, my correct. Right. You can kind of change the rules and say, we're gonna Lau in five hundred people that, that, that fall in this criteria here, we're going to figure out how to get him here. And also, we got to figure out how we take some of this crazy funding that we spend an unusual things and figure out how we can help kids who are studying for this and don't have this socio economic opportunities as other people. "Of the day or night. Chad Benson show. Chad Benson show. The Chad Benson show on Facebook to do that. Maroon five. Oh, my Lord. I watched it last night. I think they were awful. Here's the thing. We live in a world where everybody has instantaneous opportunities to be haters. Right. And that's what we do. We're we're we love to just go out. And the first opportunity we have a chance is to make fun of something. Sometimes it's just because we want to be funny. Put a lot of times. We're just so full of just we we we have to down everything, right? It's like I was talking to Jack last night because he's like, dad. Why does everybody hate Tom Brady? And I'm like, well, that's a lot of times were successful life. You're gonna get a lot of detractors. They're going to tell everybody that the only reason you're successful is your lucky or the only reason is you're successful is because it's been handed to you. Or I it's it's that's that's the world. We live in now. Right. People hate LeBron. James? I tell you this right now if Michael Jordan, right? It's always the LeBron James and like, Michael Jordan argument, but Michael Jordan. Was playing in today's age with social media he'd beginning as much flack, right? And I I told my son I said, Jack the fact is in life when you're successful. You're going to have detractors. You're absolutely going to have detractors last night. That I think that Adam LeVine, and then did a horrible job. Now know who wants that job? Right. There's a lot of these jobs now in in in Hollywood like hosting where people don't want these things. Because the last thing they want to do is to be hammered about how horrible they are. I wouldn't want that I want to host the Oscars nowadays. Right. Why? So you could tell me how awful I am. That's the best that you can do is people don't say anything about you. Three three five three eight twenty four twenty three at Chadbensonshow Twitter tweet at us. I will tell you this though, if I'm Adam LeVine. I wouldn't wanna shirt either. I wouldn't have worn a shirt. "Night. Chad Benson show on Instagram. At Chad Benson show. The Chad Benson show on Facebook to that. For months, Amazon dangled the prospect of a second headquarters outside Seattle and cities offered the moon Amazon has opted to split the prize between New York in Arlington Virginia, Amazon will set up in Long Island, city, queens and in crystal city near the Pentagon and create twenty five thousand jobs in each location. Amazon said it would spend five billion dollars, and it will receive about that much in tax breaks from the two cities now. It's a win for some loose brothers producer. Phil you live in what area I live Arlington. How about apples that are those apples winner winner chicken dinner? So what are you expecting how much do you think prices will shoot up considering that? This is what happens when a company like this moves it. I'm expecting this to start going the way of San Francisco, and I may start to look for another place to live. Yeah. That's the insanity of of it. And it's hilarious because two hundred plus cities, really vied. They wanted this big time and New York is going to be one of them that gets it, and they were very excited about it. Of course, there's going to be some some taxes if you're Amazon, and you're sitting there making a decision looking at the numbers, you go to Texas go to Florida Virginia who competed here, they have about half the income taxes that we have. And what it was very interesting though. It's first of all Amazon doesn't care right? They're looking for qualified people. So they don't care because they're not paying those taxes. Remember, they don't do things like ever, we all think everybody just pays techs. Amazon gets big check at the end of the year. And all the time. It says work that way. They're looking for great benefits as far as tax breaks. They got him a Cossio Cortez's super angry because one of the areas they're gonna move into is gonna make it essentially. Probably for a lot of those people in and around that area unsustainable for them to live there. Well, it sounds great the moving into an area, queens, and all this stuff that all those things are going to happen. What happens when a company moves in like, this that's going to create huge high paying jobs massive great paying jobs win that happens? This is where the gentrification comes it. People are gonna live nearby. They're going to buy stuff somewhat on the cheaper willing to pay a little bit more than market value for it. It's gonna start driving prices up plus people who own places are going to be kicking people out. Right. Because they know they're charge triple fort because they've got these people coming here working for Amazon. So what do you do with this point in time? That's just it. If you're a person who owns property though in and around this area. Oh my God. What's the average median price out there producer, Phil in an area around Arlington like that? Because you're also in DC. So it's it's expensive anyways for house or an apartment both. Oh, good Lord. The houses in my neighborhood are going for and they're really tiny. They're going up words of three quarter to a million dollars. Yeah. So that's what you're going to see. And in New York, it's already expensive and some of these people that have been in these areas, and I understand why people are scared. If you're sitting there today because the people that are cheering in this in parts of these areas DC's a little different. But in certain parts, these areas of think, oh, these jobs are moving here. We're going to have these great job. Those jobs aren't for you. Those are Manhattan people are gonna take those jobs. Those are people moving from outside the local person probably isn't getting that gig. Oh, jeez. That's poopie news. But if you own property, you gotta smile, sell it moved to Texas three two three five three eight twenty four twenty three. At Chad Benson chill is your Twitter. The fight is on at the White House. Don't talk the way, I am quoted. If I did not have been elected president is both were made up the author uses every trick in a book to Janine and belittle. I was that people could see the real facts and our country's doing great. How do you feel when the president says, you're you're lying? I'm not he's not Bob Woodward says he's not he's on with. Nancy, Pelosi's long lost son. Stephen Colbert talking about his book that's coming out. And this is my thing with the book. What's in there that I don't already know? Or don't think like if you're gonna come out with something then then didn't come out with like what in there is going to sway people's my you're telling first of all this part of the echo chamber that so many people now live in both the left and the right all live in these echo chambers. And every once in a while somebody come out look outside and they run back in the echo chamber. But what the White House is chaotic nothing new. We all knew that. Right. All of us. Did did you not know us? Get us waking up saying, oh, you think it's chaotic chaotic. Absolutely I do. Well, the truth is gonna okay. But what truth is gonna come out? What is the truth? And I'm willing to put myself out here. I've done the work. This is the best reporting you can do or that I can do and for him to get up and. You know, he's he has his first amendment rights. He can say anything the truth, emerges and the truth will emerge on this. Okay. What's the truth? Because do we need another book that says this chaos in the White House? Is there somebody in there that you know, for sure that you're you're gonna drop something on us? That's gonna make everybody goes sweet, ma'am agenda. This is it this is a game changer. This changes, everything, absolutely. I respect Bob Woodward. I do I respect. Bob woodward. You know, he is more than two. But I like, Bob. I think he's I think he's a real guy. He's lying about any of this stuff. But I just want to know, what are you telling us that either people don't already know or people don't already think. So if you're going to bring something new. What is it that you're bringing that is going to make everybody sit back and go. Wow. Like that is like what are you hoping you would shave out of this? What's coming out of this? This is going to change. We've already gone to you know, everybody's gone to their tribes and they're doing their thing. And we're hunger gaming it now in politics. And we're just, you know, so whatever you're talking to the echo chamber, really only talking to a certain group of people because no matter what you put out the side that loves him is going to think everything you say is fake news. "And punk rock. In life. It's the Chad Benson show I have been saying it for a long time left loves to stand on their. Soapbox and talk about how much they, hate the right and how evil the ride is and, say look we're. Going to fight you face to face we're gonna come at you we're gonna we're, gonna destroy your. Lives because morally our hatred of you has superiority and is better And it's what the world needs And it, makes me scratch. My head saying wait a minute your hatred of something is somehow morally superior to these people's. Hatred or what you call, hatred, I get that people say Chad that's reloading listen to Chris Cuomo And is very interesting Little rant he goes on about racism and. Fighting racism and not. They're not. The same they're not these fights. Are not the same a protester uses their. Voice song slang slurs, there's a huge range but it is talk when you use your hands. In a violent way you are a rioter and unless you're justified in defending yourself, and you hit, someone you're a, thug you're a, criminal you attack cops, you slap the media you're in the wrong period Okay, so protester uses, his voice that's how, it starts at us my Don't like what you're. Doing Does it saying right that's a. Protester by come over tight, you spit on the cops do. All this kind of things. Then I'm just the thug Right I'm just the thug But wait period but, I argue to you tonight all punches are not equal morally in. The, eyes. Of the law yes There's, a but and we're talking we're talking big old booty a bagel. But Morally We're not the. Same, oh in the is the. Law we both thought each other and I may have thrown the first, punch but morally my disdain for you Is superior Morally My hatred is. Better I have a high ground to stand on morally see that big old boat right there Those lovely lady that's right morally It's better I told you and I've been telling you there are people out there who have this justification that they have some sort of moral duty to hate you in a way that. Will make you. What like. Them And remember this isn't just a voted for Trump wasn't a fan of Hillary but. This is like. If you voted for Trump it's a lot of th they paint with a wide, brushing this gives them a pass because morally they're allowed to do this because their morals are somehow superior. To your morals here's the argument if you're a punk who comes, to start, trouble in the mask and hurt people you're not about, any virtuous. Caused somebody who's going to be held to the standard of doing something wrong but when someone comes to call out bigots and it gets hot even physical are they equally wrong as the biggest they are fighting What Really that's where you're going with. This that's where you're going with. This So I see somebody who's. A bigot morally I have the. Right to go and thump them Because my morals are better than. Their morals because I'm superior in this my hatred Of their thought process is superior to them as, a purse Oh I'm? Getting now remember it starts somewhere but where does it end that's always, my thing fighting against a matters how you fight, matters to but drawing a moral equivalency between those espousing Hayden those fighting it because they both resort. To violence emboldens hate and elevates what should be stamped out that's what Trump did wrong last year when he said this I.

Earlier today she held her usual barrage press. Conference and talking about the tweet this morning we're Trump. Tweeted out that he he's imploring Jeff l. Jeff Sessions, to please stop. The witch on Jeff please stop the witch the way some people here you know they stop this thing stop this? Thing it's still going on and the Muller investigation I said it earlier and I'll continue, to, say it I said. It when Trump I got, into the office just keep. Winning keep the promises that you made to, the American people, do the things that you said, you were going to do let. All of that other stuff be, noise, around you and? If you. Do those things right, not all those things even if you do them we're going to be successful some of those things while they. Sound good maybe even look good on paper may fall, flat but you keep doing those things people are going to be like well you know what But, when you continue to allow things, like the investigation to always get. Under your skin because you think, it's, undermining your presidency People are going to continue to ask questions so just keep winning and I think you'll find out the more you win The harder. It is.
