"This is Chad Benson it's about time in terms of your exposure we think more than fifteen minutes it's about space how far apart are you from people around you six feet better than one foot how many people are in the area how densely populated or crowded your environment is and the place are you inside or outside yes we think outdoors is safer but these four factors really point to the increased risk we're going back out numbers are spiking across the country we're emerging from our rumination or hibernation we're getting back out there numbers are spiking the last two weeks the the focus on George Floyd his death the protest didn't change the fact that the crowd of ours hasn't gone anywhere and the thought of it being seasonal seems to have passed and now we're starting to come to grips that this thing is going to be here and may just continually be here pandemic global epidemic regional endemic always here HIV is endemic it's not gonna work it's not a season for it we don't have therapeutic for as far as the crown of ours we have actually those therapeutic I I think we've got things that we're trying that seem to work as a vaccine we're still probably six months at best to a year away for the all of that being said we have to get out there and we have to start rebuilding that's a that's a tough thing when you're worried about could there be a second shot down could there be a second shutdown is that a possibility if we continue at all at a rate like this we're facing a significant chance that we're gonna have to shut down the state again that's scary the doctor talk about setting down states again on the other side of it you look around and say okay we're re opening how do we do it in such a way that is smart understanding there's risk finding out who the people that are at most risk which all that are generally at most risk on healthy people people in their eighties and we talk about sixty five but the reality is it's seventy eighty people who have underlying health conditions the average person well there's a risk it is minuscule compared to other people the elderly people who are in the system living facilities for whatever reason they had a stroke they were in a car accident so those people are at tremendous risk so protecting them becomes utmost the rest of us need to do what we can to social distance but we also need to be able to live our life you still should be wearing a mask you still should be trying as best as possible to have that physical distancing you still need to wash your hands as often as you possibly can and avoid congregation in large numbers smart things like I avoid large numbers I thank you he was asked me was really a long time she let a good concerts C. what lessons accounts second time ago only only parking on a fight with people I don't do any of that stuff on a wait line anywhere get off my lawn I think there's a kid to like as a kid I hated crowds one of it is like when I go to the movies even if I'm by myself in a movie it's a late night movies one of my cheesy horror movies was gonna be like me and five other people because opens up on a Friday but they do with those late night Thursday night showings I'll go to that also on the on yes I just not my thing so I social distance by nature but a lot of people don't we do need human interaction I just have a smaller circle we can do the best that we can to to social distance but the reality is there's still always going to be a risk with something like this and as a nation and as governors reemerging try to figure out how to do this what are the risk factors and what are they willing to say look this is what we need to do we need to be mature about this we need to be smart about this wear a mask whenever possible in situations like that where one in the car if you're by yourself or with your family for god sakes come on but other situations too is much as you can to wash your hands not touch your face wear a mask and you know don't be an idiot and if you're over sixty five are you have underlying health conditions you need a bunker in place and we need to start setting up special the way I would look at it the way I am because I'm waiting here with the spike that we had Arizona okay when's the governor gonna come out usually does on Thursday but last night on MSNBC and CNN he he was the I mean they're looking at him because they've we're here in Arizona we've gone up the most and his plan has been which S. picking choosing some of these numbers but if you have a plan come out and say look this what we're doing we're gonna mitigate the rest as much as we possibly can for the elderly and the medically fragile we're gonna do we can't get the resources around them and to make sure that the people that are working with them barred limited in exposure.

"Independent thoughts independent life this is Chad Benson the bottom line is that we will have a return of the virus or maybe an eleven even went away what it does how we handle it will determine our fate yes that is that's Dr Fauci so if it never goes away then what happens how do we can't live like this I think we all agree whether you think that we should shelter in place and and listen to everything that everybody says to the point where they're the only ones there is no other contradicting evidence out there even though there may be but we're just gonna ignore it and that that this is it we can we all agree though we can't live like this forever well it's not forever chat just so we get vaccine vaccines a ways away forty trying to say I'm just saying human beings have a point where they're going to start to break they are they have a point at some point they're going to go all right can't do this anymore some of the baby mental because they feel like they're being caged in some of it may be financial I think it's a good portion of that we just can't hide from it and I feel like that's what we've done now I've like I have it here Doug Ducey our governor then everything that been asked because that's the route that that we we took in each state did their own thing some clamp down a lot harder than others she Michigan and few others others little bit more loose and gonna start to loosen the regulations as they move forward but that's the way we chose to go and I got your problems with that I said look we pick a lane we go we stick with it but you also know there's an off ramp at some point in time and that's the fear that so many people have assist offramp is is where and found she doctor doctors are gonna err on the side of caution Dr birch swallow Dr is also as much a politician found she's not he said that's what he does interesting to see all the states handle this as we open ourselves up but the question that needs to be answered that isn't even being asked at times is the second wave or the continuous first wave astrology just put is going to happen at what point do we call S. okay we gotta go back in and how do you put that genie back in the bottle with small business owners with big business with people are watching their dreams go up in flames with people worried about losing their homes in their cars watching everything get a Vistara added and there are no longer standing on solid absolutely amazing foundation they're now standing on something that is crumbling and falling away and they're just freaking out and they they're just gonna have to be some serious questions what are the when it comes to the second wave is the second wave a situation we just look around and say alright those of you who are healthy between eighteen and whatever fifty five and this is where the data would be helpful we get the numbers right on who's really at severe risk everything we know what it is which is people who are morbidly obese we're not talking about twenty or thirty thousand we're talking about people who are really overweight well that are older people under lying health conditions compromised immune system things of that nature is that the conversation we start to have outside of that everybody else we're going to keep some of the social distancing things in place but you go about your life normally everybody else needs isolate that's a possibility but we do need to start having questions about the next phase when it's challenged with the spike three two three five three twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter feel free to tweet at us love hearing from all of you love and hate I'm good with either it's okay I can take it unlike most countries in the world Sweden decided against a mandatory shut down and instead they just hold their citizens to be responsible and keep their distance they have been upsides and downsides to this approach on the downside Sweden has experienced almost triple the deaths of its neighboring countries who did impose lockdowns but on the upside the Swedish ambassador has now sent that stock home could achieve herd immunity by may and her community is when so many people have immunity that the disease called spread as easily anymore yeah and it's not here's the other thing about the herd immunity that people need to understand it's not just you've had it in many cases you've been exposed to it in so many times that you build up the antibodies without actually it catching it mac so remember the worst case scenario that was painted by all of these models three hundred million Americans didn't catch it wasn't because they were exposed to many good majority of people now but actually I would say pretty much ninety nine percent of the population has been exposed to this why is it that a majority of people don't catch Sweden is taking a different approach and while their numbers are higher they said look what we made a mistake is and if you look at the numbers and their death rate first of all the double the size of Norway and then were you looking okay so there's so so that's that's something there secondly and this is this is this is important is they said look we we didn't take care of the the elderly the way we should've we we should have been more fought full in the way that we approach this when it comes to not just the elderly people with compromised immune system but also towards the immigrant community which is where they suffered a huge amount of deaths and problems in the Somali community because their generational they have several generations living at home that's not Sweden's thank modernize society a lot of people live on their own they have a lot of density as far as people living together so it was easier for them in a lot of ways because they kind of already social distance but it's an interesting way because they said look at the end of the day well they are higher in their death rate all the other surrounding countries and elsewhere are going to get to the same place doing what they're doing because they're not getting away from the virus they're just hiding from it so sweet as planned sure it's a sort of a big philosophical debates should countries get slammed by corona virus quickly and then get it over with full should they try to spread out the pain over a longer period of time I hope she knows right and every other country's long because if they all right then we can end the lockdown and finally get back to our normal lives yeah and I think it it's Sweden to me this was the path I would take it with precautions in place when it comes to the elderly people with compromised immune systems and I think their approach is is right and the way they look at it is our economy is still going to have gone to school and they look at kids and school as they're the super spreaders doesn't mean very rarely does it affect children in a negative way and this they're the superstructures so they're the ones who are you gonna be exposed to the most because of that you have a chance of building up anti bodies along the way and that herd immunity is that one thing that we don't have to worry about trials on maybe the wrong but maybe they're right and the numbers I think will bear out over the coming weeks and months and they feel like Hey once we get out of this our economy is gonna look much different and it's gonna take off several other people who look at the way that they've done things have said you know what New York would probably been in the same place it might have been a little bit worse here a little bit better for them in some areas but by and large they were gonna end up in the same place they are now and a lot of that has to do the density and and the lifestyle so we'll see if when it re emerges because it's going to two states take the kind of approach that Sweden does little different in the way that they live very much in our society right but it's a very interesting approach three two three five three twenty four twenty three at seven shows your Twitter tweet at me my pillow doing some amazing so Mike Lindell over my pillow is now making things easy for all of the of the first responders and the health care workers so he's changed his production line to do that and in doing so he wants to move stuff out of the warehouse and into your homes he's doing a buy one get one of all.

"Independent thoughts independent life this is Chad Benson the numbers are so far much better we want to keep it that way if you look at the original projections and if we did nothing it would be disastrous if we we decided to do something we closed it down I had no choice it was a good move that was a good move the early China was a good the food was a good move but a lot of good moves but closing and that was a big state there was a big important thing but we're looking to have far fewer deaths than originally thought China far fewer deaths why because the models are saying so with the models have been wrong the models are based on certain things and because human beings involved so we're all involved were human beings and we can alter our behavior in doing so we can change the course of this that's what we've done there were two paths we could have taken we could have said we're gonna try for herd immunity do it sweetens doing we'll find out what that looks like or we can start to lock things down get a handle on it as best we can and continue to search for not only a vaccine but treatments separate from each other physically not social distancing I don't like that physical distance thing because you can still talk to people that silly and we'll see where we go that's what we've done some states have done it more than other states the end of the day are we getting a handle on it I think so models originally horrific we're gonna lose potentially two point two million even half that would've been like whoa then it was cut down like five hundred thousand started alter behavior then it was cut down to two hundred and forty thousand that was cut down to somewhere between a hundred two hundred thousand then it was cut down to eighty nine thousand and now they're looking at sixty thousand I say somewhere between thirty and forty maybe fifty thousand and this is over a period of time through August so you got all of April left may June July and then August five months is that possible yeah could you get down to the point where we lose twenty five or thirty thousand also possible models will change you use models to try to figure things out on what you're going to need also use models as you look at these things and the data to find out who is really potentially going to struggle with this one of the things are looking at is the African American community what's going on there how's that struggle been it's been big it has been also with people over the age of sixty five people with underlying health conditions so do you use these models to try to gauge and and figure out exactly what the mortality rate is try to do the best you can with the infection rate what does it look like how fast is it spread but because humans can alter this because we are humans and we have choice and we do certain things we can change the course for for better or worse and so far it looks like we're doing for better three two three five three twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson show is your Twitter feel free to tweet ME you can tax the program as well states are doing the things that they're supposed to be doing which is helping in the past twenty four hours new cove it nineteen cases here in California have risen under eleven percent I see you cases up just two percent governor Gavin Newsom says those lower numbers are encouraging he says social distancing is working in the curve is flattening it is pending but it's also stretching he says modeling shows the cases will keep rising slower than before but for a while and a California speak won't come for a few more weeks and what a second look like because the peak is one of those things where and what we're finding out here in Arizona our peak was supposed to be April twenty six now they pushed out to may being a tougher month and I'm like whoa hold on a second you guys are pushing it out yet we're looking at the numbers and the numbers aren't jiving with what you're saying and part of that that's good we're gonna have anticipation but I'm also looking to see what states are putting themselves in positions where they're sending health care professionals to places like New York New Jersey to help where they're sending ventilators to other places because they overestimate what they needed and they were able to kind of you know put a put the foot down on the brake and slow it down and so now they've got a little bit of a surplus and they could send it to other places that may be a neat California Washington state doing well New York still struggling yesterday it was one of those days where it was ugly the death rate was high we won't know until probably late late tonight or early tomorrow what today looks like some people saying it's either today or yesterday that will be the peak of their death and that'll start to slowly but surely come down models they matter data matters especially when you're finding out okay who's got what right you know how old are you you're sixty seven you've got diabetes no PC where we find out about this thing underlying health conditions not good by the way underlying health conditions even if you catch the flu not good with this really bad with the flu potentially be really really bad it's amazing it is it's amazing to see that this is really an eye opener for for a lot of people it really is I think that like wow how to shape our way obesity is playing a huge role in this diabetes he's also one of the things are looking at because it seems to be that eighty five percent of the people that are dying or been hospitalized in New York or obese and either have COPD most of them have diabetes that's that's an eye opener right there it is do it well so what does that say health matters in a lot of ways and there's things we can do to avoid some some my grandmother was that Israel entire life she had juvenile diabetes has nothing to do about that but there's a lot of things that we can do to better ourselves and we should all be looking at this in a way to go maybe it's time to really get serious about health three two three five three twenty four twenty three accidents show is your Twitter feel free to tweet at us you can text the program as well I have concluded that this battle for the democratic nomination will not be successful and so today I am announcing the suspension of my campaign now he suspended his campaign aides are shocked face I think it's safe to say that we have socially distance ourselves from Bernie's campaign and his socialist politics share it's over it's done Bernie we're sorry we're sorry you you thought you had a path in your path was blocked by voters not Joe Biden I cannot in good conscience continue about the campaign they cannot win thanks if members would interfere with the important work required of all of us in this difficult hour yeah here's one thing he did say I watched some of his little good bye the thing that he gave and I found this to be interesting he said that the younger generation we won that and this will be a generational and he's absolutely right it's not if but when one day there will be an opportunity that's real that somebody with Bernice ideas of not the free market but high taxes kind of way that they look at things in Scandinavia but of Bernice radical ideas will have a real chance at the White House some day that will happen that's going to happen I'm telling you now your data first okay what anybody says now we may change my quick we have put somebody in the White House it may go south fast and we may say screw it we're gonna stack the you know is Senate then and house with more conservatives and put a block to all of it but I do believe at some point in time with the changing demographics and the generation that Bernie will see his dream come to fruition I want to express the interview my deep gratitude for helping to create an unprecedented grassroots political campaign Bernie we thank you thank you for doing what you did which was whatever you did we did you would do good night now three two three five three twenty four twenty three accidents shows your Twitter three two three five three twenty four twenty three that's events and shows your Twitter feel free to tweet ME get text the program as well we asked the question get a lot of interesting answers people texting in about when they feel their life will go back to normal after we leave this situation here one to three months forty seven percent say it'll take about one to three months for them to feel normal again after shelter in place is down three to six months has about eighteen percent six months to a year ten percent and who knows he's twenty three percent one to three months I think for a lot of people it's been probably about two to three months on average for most people but they're gonna be some people out there that it's going to take them a while and it's good this is psychological side of this that is it is that's going to be very real you know testing things you know can you get past the not washing your hands every thirty seconds that every time you open the door knob right but you know open up the door and you go to turn the knob you're like it's you know there's that that and the fear of what if this thing pops up again and and we all have to shelter in place I don't want to take that chance again and so even if you're going out doing your thing she may not be spending money like you used to you maybe you know digging yourself out of a hole and then saving saving saving which will slow the economy down as well three two three five three twenty four twenty three at seventeen Charlo is your Twitter when I say something car shield is here to help plans starting as low as ninety "Independent dots independent life this is Chad Benson China and Iran sure enough fully reporting and other countries may not be capable of reporting of the cases we do know it appears that three percent because critical disease fifteen percent cause severe symptoms yeah are you ready for it it's common so it is is it a pandemic what's a pandemic so that is when a pandemic essentially is what it spreads out over a large vast area putting other countries and regions throughout the globe that is transmitted from human to human to human and in many cases there is no patient zero they can point it's common the reality is it's it's it is coming here so be prepared because you know this is going to be something that while not deadly here that's probably something like the flu let's remember that sensible measures we talk about every year with the flu are important steps that you can take cover your mouth and nose when when you cough or sneeze stay home when you're sick and wash your hands yeah which and and by the the stay home when you're sick is I think really important because so many people come in to work or they underestimate what they have like I did feel good last week but it was a sinus infection and I was out of the part where I was you know it can take you know if anything start as a cold I got it over the weekend I felt fine but it was affecting my nose and stuff but there are people that like their their diet you could see you know they had a fever or they're just a mass couple weeks ago and this is this is this I stayed at a hotel a couple weeks ago because I travel a lot you might think and the person in front of me so here I am in Phoenix and I live about an hour outside of town so a couple two three nights a week because they get up so early in that were so late I will stay in town and the the young lady in front of me was Chinese she was absolutely like pale as can be she had a mask on and she was dripping sweat and she had a S. U. stuff on her luggage and one of the issues that we we had somebody here days you who tested positive who'd returned from China and it was it was it was you know you you think you go through your mind okay what it says it goes through your mind for a second do I think that we're gonna have the pandemic that that people are talking about I do not would trump comes out he says we're going to have something in you know in April it should calm down what's the possibility but as far as how close we are to having some sort of vaccine you're talking a year to eighteen months before they're even ready to test it they're just on the point now where there is starting to test certain things for this but do I think it's going to kill hundreds of millions worldwide I do not is it is rafter well that's something that's real slow down a mental checklist to make sure that you're ready to reach out to some school contacts if you have children in school about any possible contingency plans that might include child care providers and stock up on a few homes supplies just sitting around doing this at the last minute yeah because there's this this thought process so it's coming here can't be stopped yes it's coming here can't be stopped we'll we'll deal with it as it comes right we're gonna deal with it as it comes and it's coming but I don't think it the big disruptor for us is on the financial side nineteen hundred points lost in the last two days trump's gonna get you know he's going to stabilize the market helps with the press conference and everything may in the coming days and weeks it's gonna be interesting because it's the trickle down effect of supply chains being cut off not because of a trade war but because of not being able to get the factories up and running in China for fear the decision to continue to grow those things what the trickle down effect in the economies globally by not being able by each bite small businesses medium and even large businesses not being able to get access to the things they need in a timely fashion which will slow them down on top of that for people who do work globally and sell products in places like China and some of these other places having a slow down because you don't have access to one had once had it will slow down the economy as well two two three five three twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson show it's a two hundred kids to read a tweet ME get text the program as well love hearing from every single body so last night again it was a battle royale of some you know some sort and Bernie van he continues to double triple quadruple down on on socialist you have a track record of expressing sympathy for socialist governments in Cuba and in Nicaragua can Americans trust the democratic socialist president will not give authoritarians a free pass I have opposed authoritarianism all over the world of course have a dictatorship in Cuba what I said is what Barack Obama said that cue ball made progress on education yes I think really really really yes really really it is if he continues to to push that and it's funny because when I was looking at some of his plans for how is gonna pay for everything including capital gains tax that was taxed at normal income let's see how that goes I mean you know you want to do that that's fine does that mean people before going to pull out their money and move it elsewhere possibility right it does that mean that that investment may slow down and businesses yeah the possibility right he wants to add a death tax you know you talk about Denmark and Sweden they don't have a death tax talk about a lot of these things and here's some of the problems millennials out there because it's free stuff you're about ready in the next decade or two to have that the largest transfer of wealth because your baby boomer family that you blame everything on are gonna be passing away over the next decade or two and they're going to be leaving you large amounts of money and homes that you're going to have to turn over half of it to the government is insane it was anybody else find that insane I'm just curious so wait a minute you buy something you build something you create something all along the way you're taxed on all of these things and then when you die the government's like well enough we'd like some more I just find that to be nuts I do I've always thought that and and people are so concerned by other people's money and I've never been that way I have never ever ever been that way about other people's money but man they are so concerned with that three two three five three eight twenty four twenty three H. events shows your Twitter you can tweet at me get text the program text your love text you hate I'm good with it so we we do have a problem in this country that we need to address and it's six year olds it's six year olds who continued to do bad things and get arrested let's look back at some of these six year olds who are in trouble a child's outburst in the Valley Forge elementary kindergarten class Jewish threat assessment and led to a police investigation we're told was initiated by the school district the girl at the center of it all six year old Margot six year old Marco six year old Marco six year old Margot by the way down syndrome threat assessment interviewed by the cops yeah they argue Nadia should have never been placed under Florida's Baker act which allows authorities to force a psychiatric evaluation on anyone deemed a threat to themselves or others including children if you can't deal with the problem child sexual then you shouldn't be in education yeah well guess what we got a new one and this one goes extra her name is kai role and guess what not only was there a threat assessment apparently but it was to the point where they had to use zip ties on we.

And, you know, I just I want all of those players to know that, you know, we, we, we rooting for them, and we want to see them continue to get better. And you know, it was just it was, it was good to see and her her her tweet back was pretty awesome two's. Well, most Carli Lloyd talking about the, the Thai. "It isn't ability that matters. It's where you rank on the privilege hierarchy, it's not hard to imagine that perverse effects of this under new standards. If you worked hard in the state married for the sake of your children, your kids will be punished for that. That's a little bit much. But that's what I was just asking earlier is there is there somewhere where you would be penalized, because my son, maybe has some advantages that other kids have, but there are other kids out there. More vantage a him what point in time? Do you say okay because of this, we're going to check this your mom and dad, you're not raised by a single parent if you will, you know, your mom and dad are still around they may not be married, but they're still around together, so you're not. Being just right. I mean, are they going to start checking things off? I think that's when you don't tell people the scoring goes. That's not always good snot and it is ridiculous. It is doesn't mean that we should figure out a way to help kids who do struggle. That's what we should be doing rather than going in and saying, well, we're going to start making up these pseudo weird science stuff to, to try to figure stuff out again. It's your school. You can kind of do what you wanna do and your school, my correct, my correct. Right. You can kind of change the rules and say, we're gonna Lau in five hundred people that, that, that fall in this criteria here, we're going to figure out how to get him here. And also, we got to figure out how we take some of this crazy funding that we spend an unusual things and figure out how we can help kids who are studying for this and don't have this socio economic opportunities as other people. And hopefully, they'll very quickly come up with the answer. Put until they do the planes were grounded. It's tough because it's a big company, and this is huge for investors for the people who work for the company, you gotta figure out what's going on. That is obvious. And the what do you think about it? There's only about seventy of them they're operated here sixty or seventy right now. But there's five thousand that are currently on order. So you're talking about something that's massive, it could have huge ramifications and safety is parents, absolutely. The most important thing we gotta make sure that. It's safe. But. Is it the pilots is it are they being trained wrong? Is it the software? I had a pilot text me yesterday and said. I've flown a few of these there's some stuff in there not thrilled about, but it's a new plane get used to it. Do I find am? I scared to fly at no. And I've had people worked on the softwares. I I we've worked on portions of software and we've got issues. I don't know what it is. And but as you're the you're the president, you're the FAA you're doing this. And I'm like, well, that's a lot of times were successful life. You're gonna get a lot of detractors. They're going to tell everybody that the only reason you're successful is your lucky or the only reason is you're successful is because it's been handed to you. That I think that Adam LeVine, and then did a horrible job. Now know who wants that job? Right. There's a lot of these jobs now in in in Hollywood like hosting where people don't want these things. Because the last thing they want to do is to be hammered about how horrible they are. I wouldn't want that I want to host the Oscars nowadays. Right. Why? So you could tell me how awful I am. That's the best that you can do is people don't say anything about you. Three three five three eight twenty four twenty three at Chadbensonshow Twitter tweet at us.
