"Big news i've ju- gotti under my umbrella for cameo as as very exit. He reached out to me And i have juju gotti under my umbrella. I jus gonna kill it on cameo. I'm about to claim billy as well. I dunno where we left this. I have no idea. But billy wants on cameo i have over fifteen thousand dollars or request. I need to get to i. We'll get to them today tomorrow. Silly not that much. Aren't you charging one hundred su. So here's the deal with. Addison and i'm trying to tell this to your dad ok addison. It's like golf chris. If you choose the play with a caddie he knows the golf course. He knows the terrain either. Trust caddy or you. Don't addison in fact alcohol catterson. Okay canisius he's our caddy. He's the guy who takes us through cameo what he sets the price. He lowers the price he ups the price we want. I just trust. Addison do catterson is in the do whatever the hell iwon am. I getting this wrong. Are you screaming at us right now. Like are you extra louder. You just stugotz like you just fired up. I'm very excited very passionate about what's happening now. Okay continue. i'm sorry. It just seemed you were screaming. I want billy to enjoy what it is. We're all enjoying the love. On cameo make money off of billy billy ever enjoy what the rest of us are enjoying. It's the whole role. He's been such a great as suffering around here. All right. i'll pay. I'll take the other side on this one. I just not like him. You like look. I love our fans. I'm just not good at it. I'm gonna be awkward and uncomfortable and like stick. Let me let me tell you a quick story and this actually is a quick story. I was asked to do for the graduating class of my high school. Just like a quick congratulations video like less than a minute. No live less than a minute right. I said to my hostile report dateable for you and poppy team times and lie made those meet. We need to release those. I was like i would wipe congrats. You still have that. Does he still have that to someone. Is that video available to us. Let me see. I let me see if i can track it down but it was so bad and i did so many different tastes and i'm like no like and then at the end of all that i'm like none of these people even know who i am. Why am i recording video or then. This is absolutely nothing to these eighteen year olds. They don't know. Why didn't you ask me to do this. I was there for an hour trying to record a one minute video just saying like hey good luck are this year. Wasn't that good. You know hopefully next year in college things will get better like what why tell an eighteen year old about a pandemic. I've never been through this. I'm going through it just like they are. You can imagine how hard cameo is going to be for me when it's like. Hey tell my person happy. You know twentieth. I dunno whatever it is. What what did they requested of you guys. So far you guys fifteen thousand dollars. You have a record recorded one video yet. I don't think there's no way you're going to be able to keep up to the with the demands Able to keep up with demand. Like here's here's one of the first ones. I got Hold on should we just do some of these now. Those people would appreciate that. We're here with you. Do you want a bang out a few of these. Can you do it quickly enough to your first one here with us live on air. Yeah i'd like to. I'd like to pick out a few. Because unlike greg i'm actually gonna put some effort into there's like one guy wants me to give a hot take on the braves. Nc state or the carolina panthers. So i was going to go home and try to do it like in a braves shirt or brave jersey mafra maximum effort. These people are paying a lot of money to deliver a message. Okay everyone skeptical now chris. You're not believing serious graves. Close get outta here. Don't know if. I have a brave jersey. I'd like or braves cap or something. Atlanta braves related liked to do it in a braves journey floor. All right. can i get back to what we were talking about. Just because i want the audience to understand what we're going through right now and how funny it's going to be to watch all of this because we are totally untethered right now. We're almost talking directly to you because you're just getting us from a variety of different places none of which actually own us so we're headed into negotiating period and the first order of business. Is everyone fighting over the cameo money already. Like it's the first thing that has arrived with freedom and it's not surprising to me at all but what's to god's saying here you guys were immediately skeptical about how much efforts to god's is gonna put into this. You guys made faces. As soon as he went down the path of all the effort he was going to put into this and as we head down the path of just brazenly grabbing money from our fans. Because this is this is a really strong community and everything we've ever asked them to do they end up. Doing i would like to do this with grace. And in our show style. I would like these people to get a little piece of the radio show like just you're getting a little private show. That's what i would like for them to get for their money because we're sitting here and it's literally taking your money so i would give them a little bit of a show in those cameos. So they're earning so you're earning the forty dollars because it actually feels personalized. I plan on on absolutely trying to deliver them some sort of show being serious here. I'm taking this very very seriously. Because i think it's important for us to do for our listeners. And i see a real revenue stream here for us guys. I really not altruism. It's got sees money here and sees being able to that directly cash in on. I appreciate the honesty. Because what i because. This is why the reason i appreciate the honesty. Look what we do is a character and isn't and let's speak most freely here now that we know that we're speaking to the people who just ride with us. Okay the construct of this entire show as a comedy troupe has been disguised for eight years at espn is if we're a sports show and so we leave the machine and now you see what's left behind us. It's the pieces of the machine. That absolutely don't do it this way. The stugatz thing has been a construct but it is only him turned up to ten. The real stugatz. That about a nine like it's it but there is some really nice stuff around the money with him and so legitimately i'm going to present you something that's do. God said to me before we got here because it was heartfelt. No but it was nice. To god's but i also didn't know whether or not to believe you because someone just toasted glass there's liquor in here for some reason. Can we do the drunk sherry christmas. Dan that's remain christmas drunk. Show where there are no rules. No you can get drunk. Wait a minute what did you. I'm not getting speech today though. I think i might want to get drunk. I think those would be great. Cameos from drunks. God's i have no issue doing the show drunk. I have no issue do a drunk cameos. I have a keynote speech. Give today at eleven forty five. So what kind of tequila is this. You bring an end. Does it have the wrong honest. How did this get here. I brought it in yesterday. Yeah at the pick up my laptop. So i made a little drop-off santa may delivery. It's it's an expensive tequila. I don't know if you dry your tough to shop for man. I was just like give me your top shelf. Give me the most expensive to kill. You have not had king to kill us. I love you acting like you don't know what to keel. Is what you know what brandon. I don't know what this is. But i'm going to now have it for breakfast day in it so this is good here so i want you guys. Give me a real verdict. Yes billy giving just rewind for second. We're talking about how much god's and how much he's trying on cameo..

"But we depend upon your largest with the patriots to at least get a little bit of. Money for our time during the place when we're going to be doing the NBA cats pretty much every day, except when there is a warriors home game. And when maybe on a Friday night, my wife says you can't do it us. So let's get to a couple of those questions here. Let's start with this from John Catterson, if you're the kings, would you re signed Barnes to four years eighty million or just having take his player option, which is about twenty five million. Now, you don't they don't have control over that. Obviously he can decide to either opt out or not. But presumably they would be able to entice him for me. I would much rather have take that twenty five million dollar player option. If everything goes great next year. You can always you can pay him. Absolutely, whatever you want and resigned him. So I got bugs four years. Eight million for Barnes seems pretty steep. I if I were going to bring him back in a long term deal, I'd want it to be more. You know, the fifteen to seventeen million dollar range if that yeah. I would much rather have the year and and. See where these things go. I think that Barnes if you got paid this off season would be likely to get overpaid, especially when Sacramento just went through the affirmative step of acquiring him. A lot of times when a team does that they end up making a bad decision because they feel more trapped doesn't always happen. But it does often happen. I think back to Oklahoma City trading for and his Kanner. And then matching the NS Kenner tro offer sheet from Portland, you know, that was the deal you an granted you, and I were way will run is Kenner, basically his entire career than a lot of people. But they would think about how much better off they would have been if they just had let him go. Instead of instead of matching also been the blazers were been totally screwed just making that kind of commitment. Now, this is something that's going to real tight a lot the idea of number one year the kings. So what else you're gonna use your money on their pretty decent now? So they're not really in the just take on bad money for assets. Marketplace any longer, and then also you. Say well, yeah. You know, we're playing twenty million for Barnes. But twenty twenty is a terrible free agent market. If if he just ops in either were if we wanna keep them, we're at the pay a ton 'cause will become vision or we won't necessarily be able to replace them. Who knows won't even want to replace them. Also depends on who they get in the draft or what they don't have their pick from the the the salary dump from twenty fifteen same inky, but I would still say it just such a risky contract for Barnes. And in that is a lot of money to pay for a guy who is a controversial player. I think we can say he's not exactly what you need as a three D type on the wing, especially the deep part. You know, he's kind of more of a four Bagley also plays the four as three at the Giza hill a little bit of bad fit there. So this playing the same question we got asked who are some of the candidates who are most likely to be stretched this off season. And normally we are. Relatively against that. But when you consider number one, how bad the twenty twenty free agent classes and number two just how much money is going to be out there because of all those sour succeeds coming off the books. Does it make sense to just open up more cap space now with a better free agent class? And then okay, if you hurt your twenty twenty cap space and twenty twenty one, you know, who cares because you're you're getting bang for your buck those years anyway..

"Welcome back to groomer humor. Once again, we are your hosts I'm Rudy along with my son, Anthony Ray, and as mentioned are very very special guest today is Rinaldo web founder of had played. Thank you so much for being with us today. Rinaldo? Hey, how you guys doing? We're very very well. Thank you, man. Appreciate you coming on the let's get right into this. Because I want to know a little bit about you. Tell us a little about yourself. We know you're from New Orleans, you're raised by a single mom. Let's talk a little bit about that. Real quick. Yeah. You know, we'd be loved growing up in New Orleans amazing meeting experience, you know, one of the few unique places really really you have you guys back then. Going up to my mom with great grew up. Grew up against you sisters, and put in a lot of energy and effort related kind of you know, the make up you never want for anything. I learned a lot from the drought years after living in New Orleans for awhile and went to school up and bought he says it now. That was great very very challenging. And after a while when I realized I was gonna ball string theory. The job, and you know, an over into consulting. I worked for a couple of big consulting firm, McKinsey and oak Catterson. I spent a couple year that and you know, they're I work a lot in factories. And you know, that really led me to you know, wanting to cook my dog Winston with Vinci. Let me be while launching pets play. But you know, it for me. Really just been a any you just exploring and trying. Always learn something new day. I can. Yeah. That's just a little bit about me. That's awesome. Rinaldi? I I love that. You you give props to your mom. I grew up with a single dad, I kinda can relate. So, but I love that you give your props to your mom, so important. Hard to raise. Even imagined numb. I'm sure you are. But let's talk a little bit about that too late. What you're obviously an entrepreneur right now. What I what advice can you give to a up and coming entrepreneur like yourself? Yeah. You know, I think it really just has to come to finding something that you believe, and and and really going after it very much, but I would have played, you know, found faith. But I thought I could do a lot of good. If when I saw the pet be factory though, people, and I really thought that there was a real food solution. I can make a difference in the lives of a lot of parents. And that was something that I was able to rally behind. So I always all entrepreneurs that are thinking about launching something make sure you find something you're excited about because it's going to be hard, right? You're gonna fail, you know, hundred thousand of times Indian failure daily and always good to be able to make sure that you can fall back on a on a mission and innovation New York. Padded about. And then I would also say, you know, really make sure that you have your mentors. You know, I again, when one of my learning do always learned the hard way, you know, there's so much that you don't know. And I also like to say like most people know that there's an Loppy don't know. But then they don't know all the stuff that they don't know that they should know. And that's where I feel going can really come into play in ink and help to set you up. Right. I find so many times entrepreneurs it's kind of pride, you know, I've been fucked up. Put any petro, but you don't always have to reinvent the wheel where people can help you. And where people are willing to help you make sure you take that kind of two little nugget. We could talk about this for hours probably know. Yeah. I wish I knew. But it's beautiful because you have such great insight because you're going through it as well. And I I don't think that entrepreneurs ever stopped going through it. It's kind of just a constant journey. So it's one thing that we love about again. We're just so happy to have you on the show. So I gotta be honest with you Rinaldo, I'm looking at the brochures, and I've seen you're the food on YouTube and everything and it looks so good. I feel like breaking out with with a fork and spoon and dig myself, honestly, like crackers with this because look so tempting so let's talk a little bit about the food. The one thing I love about it is grain free, right? Yeah. So we have a variety of different options. And okay. The people that you haven't heard of before where I and grade had delivery service. Imagine a prequel blue apron that gets delivered to your door dog. And hopefully, very soon we'll have to any requests on it being rain-free. That's we have four different options right now for dog that definitely need a grain free diet currently up two options available a beef and Turkish, and then you know, we have also a chicken dish it of having any grain as well. And then our lamb dish has keen wine. It, you know, we're always going to be launching meals and of changing we offer. So we just wanna make sure that we have something for everybody. There. The weather. Your dog has your allergies or the picky? Eater stomach. We're really trying to make sure that we have a formulation out there that will work for you. That's amazing. Yeah. It's definitely intriguing and we love it. Do you find that with the ongoing obesity problem that we're having with our pets? Are you finding with your product is a healthy option. Yeah. And you know, anything huge. Tissue right with. I believe six percent dogs in America being overweight or obese Napley probably about the thing for cat. It's using them. When you start looking at other on elements associated with that such as like, diabetes, right? It just it can really be updating problem. You think about that Bill better associated with those? But you know, we really liked their different different ways. One using high-quality ingredients ingredients that we use. We don't use any seller. And that make sure that you're pump is essentially they guessing all all the food, and it's really using all the nutrients that we're providing and I think that's really important. You know, just like you are what you put in. And if you're you know, putting in dunk chillier, and I'm gonna get stuff out. But I think the bigger portion of it is that we portion all of our meal. In that based on the way by the dog when you hop on on our website. You know, you talk a little bit about your puppy. Then from now, we can understand how many powers per data they need. And I think that's a big, you know, all that happened with all their product weather, its Kibble or wet food you go out and you buy this giant bag, and it's really unclear how much you're supposed to feed your dog. Right. And your dogs loving the food. You want to be happy. You're adding a little bit more than you're adding tree. And they went down knowing it, you just giving your way more calories than the.

"But by and large, I also see a general trend towards investment managers trying to raise larger refunds shoe collect those fees. No, I agree with you. And I couldn't debate not one because it is true. That there is a subset. I completely agree. We did mention that in the consumer discussion the elements of data and how it supplies consensus. I do want talk to you. Conceive MC is as you know from listening to the show Ryan, I'm a complete med when it comes to things brand DNV's unconceivable consumable Broadway with not mine that we've seen this explosion of these investment into the space starting at the top. I have to ask Alina consumable today. Ryan. Yeah. So when I have seen that worries me bit is these fees that don't have a background in consumer trying to get into consumer in having the discipline to diligence those companies as consumer businesses when I'm seeing a lot of is tech VC firms. Pulling a ton of money into companies in the consumer space that should be very capital officiant that should be able to be successful and get profitability without raising money. But we'll also have smaller exits candidly and typical taffy safer, and that's what's key. So we see a VC firm that Kinley doesn't know what they're doing. Give a nannies company hundred million dollars that terrifies me that nannies company shouldn't raise under million dollars, candidly, they should raise Chan these companies in the consumer space. They tend to get to convert ability by raising four to eight million dollars, not fifty to eight million dollars as they do in the tech space, consumer companies are more capital efficient on average than tech companies are, but the problem is when you have a tech investor that wants for white really big checks often because they work for larger firm. That's because that's what they're used to even overcapitalize a company the other thing that happens is they put a huge valuation on it. We saw that with on his company where on his company is a good company. It just got stuck in a. Money. Traff. It got passed over practitioner and now is in a little bit of recapitalization mode with Catterson because it raised too much at far too high evaluation. So I think we've got it in industry and consumer there's a lot to love. But I think tech these see firms need to be very cautious to diligence these companies into investment companies in a different way. And they're used to doing in the tech space. I have to he said post money Trump. What do you mean by post money trapping? And how do you kind of see that one playing out and how should found us think about that? So in the in the two quarreled oftentimes, not always oftentimes a techie c can believe if I bet on the right winner it'll own eighty percent of the market. If it owns eighty percent of the market that means the valuation at exit will be huge a billion ten billion. It'll be a big number in consumer tastes are fragmented tastes have been fragmenting because of personal preferences because Bayer's entry of declined as his fragments. The winners are smaller if the winner. Are smaller the exits are smaller if the exits are smaller, you can still make money, but you have to be disciplined when you come into the business. The valuations us on the end need to be reasonable. And that's not what we're seeing from check. These first Kentucky see firms, and we're seeing the nannies company of the nine hundred million dollar valuation in fifteen million dollars revenue that math doesn't make any sense. It's offensive. They're not going to have a successful exit. They will have an exit at some point. But be a massive down route. And so what we think needs to happen. It investors play in the space. They need to find ways to systematically deploy capital across a lot of companies at earlier stage, a lower valuation, and these companies don't raise as much money. The exits are still really healthy. You can invest attend sell.

"He was that good and that impressive. And I was like I'm sold on the it. It is incredible. It's funny. He is shooting like thirty one percent. He is oh for everything from three so far this year. And he looks awesome. He looks amazing. And he was in that clippers game last night. I mean, he was in. Oh, Williams jersey. He was in shape. You'll just Alexandra jersey. And he started the game guarding Tobias Harris for exactly the reason you're talking about and he did fine. Like, one of the great I'm knocking on everything in the room. One of the great pleasures of the last two seasons has been a healthy, and you know, past the situation with his wife. So the family situation is okay. He's emotionally findings calm drew holiday because. Because he is a great great player and he played eighty one games last year. He's healthy. Now, he he had even though he's not shooting. Well, that's gonna come. He just looks fantastic. I dig like the headband bandanna he's guy in grew as braids out longer. I was like I don't like that look. And then it was when they zoomed in on him. I was like us just abandoned the people are between heaven Kyrie the bandana thing this year interesting. Yeah. It's just gonna come down to what they get out of Peyton any twelve more who's just rock solid in the Miller hill. The three bigs are really good holidays. Really good like it's just gonna come down to what they get out of the other guys. But I had them in the playoffs. They were one of my eight playoff teams. I was not as high on them as you. And now, I think although it's only been three games. I think they're even better than I thought I think they could be a four seat or higher. I could maybe be three seats even what has happened to the thunder. Oh boy. And it's not that their own three were overactive. One one of the games without Russ. Now when Sacramento comes in your building, and that was only that's cause for concern. But they're just they're they are just short on guys. They just don't have guys. You know, they've got to stars one. Really good non starring Stephen Adams. And then a whole bunch of like, oh, a whole bunch of like is Patrick Catterson washed up reminds me of a lot of the old thunder teams where they've got all this athletic system, all this athleticism and no shooting. I mean, I, you know, and obviously guys they're going to have an I think you pose the question who's their fourth most reliable player, and I chose the word reliable carefully. Not their fourth best player. No just Schreuder is probably their fourth rice player. Do I trust? Dennis Schroder in a playoff game, though. He's had very good ones including in that Washington series. A couple of seasons. Right him playing next to us at a fun game to play all season and only been one game. So do not jump to any conclusions. Do not assume I am jumping into conclusion. A fun game to play is going to be when Schreuder and Westbrook or in the game watch Westbrook. When he doesn't have the ball because that's going to be a litmus test of is that is that gonna be anything is that pairing going to be anything. Because if he does what he always does when he does the ball, which is nothing than the upper bound on what that team can build offensively is a little lower than you will. I there's a couple things that I kind of look at for what threshold they reach and how what heights they reach. I mean, we had to fill out our, you know, our predictions for the season and kind of like who's going to win this award. I think I picked Davis for him VP Jaanus for defensive player of the year. And we pick the opposite. I if I saw that. Yeah. And I and then I think I might have been the only person that picks Schreuder for for six man if he were to do that. And he were to mesh okay with Westbrook because they're going to play those two together for sure you're going to have to you're not making a lot of choice. You're not making enough use of shooter. If you don't do that, especially with the medicine Russell's gonna log once he's totally back and healthy..

"It going okay well you know i think it's a great idea and i'll tell you why new jersey has a stellar record of corruption particularly in the area law enforcement just the other day to catterson police officers got arrested by the fbi for robbing people and doing a bunch of things they shouldn't have been doing i think it's great because especially a lot in these inner cities in new jersey have a lot of corruption in the police department sturdy city newark camden so i think it's great that citizens can keep an eye on the police obviously if the double edged sword but having the opportunity to you know see what cops are doing and that's the reason because i mean if if you're only recourse once you see something is to then call the very cops where's that really gonna lead yeah but if it's on video i mean that's that's pretty much that's indisputable so even if you you know decide to call the cops if you have it on video you can't really argue with video so you think this is good because citizens then can use police own camera to somehow bust bad police well you know we have a problem with that police in new jersey and somebody's gotta keep an eye on them so i figured you know you gotta have a way to look at them as the cameras help then i don't see a problem with it all right steve thanks for calling new jersey one yeah i don't know the police in the world the canvas.
