Deepwater Horizon, Our friend Brad Leland, take a buddy Garrity and This actor starred in Argo Wolf of Wall Street. Godzilla bloodline, of course and played coach Taylor in Friday night Lights. Kyle Chandler, Kyle, First of all, Welcome back to the 15th love and give Our Lister's an idea of what your life has been since March, when the pandemic a rider who arrived and what have you been doing to keep yourself busy? I have not left the house. I don't believe that. I have not left the house not left the house, huh? Now it's been it's been. It's been very interesting. Six months. There's no doubt about that. But trying to stay outside doing stuff of star trying to stay physicals. They active. I've got a couple daughters that are that are here and the wife, the animals and Just trying to stay little thing, you know, trying Tio trying to keep it going on. And trying to reach out find the also find folks in the community that needs some health and, you know, just sort of trying to working together out here in our little town and doing what we're doing. Kyle. I know you and Catherine had been working on patriots all out there for the place where veterans can go and really relax and enjoy themselves and get their lives back together. Patriots always been very close to Kathryn's heart. I know and you've been pitching in as well. So you've been doing some fundraising on that during the pandemic. I know You know, we've been what we've been trying to. We've been trying Tio. Think like like all other charities. You guys there where it's kind of difficult to figure out creative ways. Teo to gather people together. Try Tio. To try to get people involved right now, But we were fortunate that we didn't have one. We had one of them right before our first event right before all this happened, And so that was good. We've been searching out other ways of Of putting it together. Katherine's been very successful. She's working so hard. She's got such a great group of people out there working with her, But what? We're lucky enough to have right next to me right now. Dean Chandler, all the middle name of one dies. We're doing good and proud of you for what's going on out there in dripping Springs. How can people involved? How can people get involved? Catherine with the haul out there, What do they need to do? And how can they can't get involved? Well, you know what Kyle was saying? We did. You know, One fundraiser for PRA founding sponsor is here and dress which we did really good right before we all shut down in March, But I gotta tell you, they're still coming in. People are still donating during this time, Which means the world to me because people are really struggling, but they're like, do it on a payment plan. I want to be a founding sponsor. So All in all, you know, this community driven ideas really panning out it. It's really about the community. We're gonna have a lot of opportunity. Once we're up and running. We're planning Tio break ground at the end of September and then 18 months and then we want to be up and running. And there will be a lot of opportunity. You know, Seven of the 10 Acres is going to be left open for gardens and a fishing pond and hey, if someone was to go out and get a little dirty, I'm sure we could use but financially right now what? We're looking for anything that anyone can offer. Our website is setup that you could. You could donate money through patriots hall dot org's But I gotta tell you, you know, at first I got a little scared. It's a 5.9 million project and I thought, How am I going to do this? And then? You know, we're almost that We have 3.2 to do left right now without anything operations. So that's Texas for you. That's that's That's great. Will you come help with same uni effort? I know you in college pitched in what you're doing a great job so way. I learned a lot from you understand? Say it out loud. Well, let me tell you, I will help the veterans at any time. I can. How have you been coping? Because the guy sitting next to you says he's not been out of the house been working on the The yard and stop messing with the animals out there. That's awfully close to that Hollywood star for all these months. Well, he's there's a lot of time outside, actually, and, uh And we've got a little air stream that we can always set him up in. And you know, you know, a little padlock on the front would be a good idea, Probably, but all in all, he's doing good, and we got both kids home because of this, and you know it's a little bumpy road, but Or really sitting down and having some really good family conversations that we really haven't had. So you know, there's a blessing and everything. Oh, I'd like to be a fly on the well during some of those. That would be fun. We'll listen, Katherine. Happy anniversary. I know what your 25th anniversary Coming out. So you and Kyle got a lot to be proud of those two girls. Yeah, We're excited. Thank you. Thank you. And enjoy my, uh, quarter eccentric quarter of a century with you big guy. Quarter century Kyle Chandler's where this Catherine Chandler. Katherine's talkingabout the hall and Dripping Springs call, of course on actor who's been out of work for the last few months. I hate to say he's been out of work because all of Hollywood's been out of work, Kyle, When do you think you'll be going back to work? And I'm sure you've been in touch with your agent from Hollywood and here in Texas? What are your plans for the next next few much When things get better, We hope Well, to tell you the truth that I don't know. I don't know if anyone knows exactly what happened because we don't know what happened. Come this fall in winter, but in my inn in my imagination if everything would work out the way it's supposed to work out. I would say, February March next year. People started to ramp up. Things are starting to happen again. I know some I know there are some. There are just a few productions and there They're trying to find creative ways to make this happen ways that are even far more restricted in what the NFL's doing. It's for, Um, I'm told by a friend of mine a DP Todd McMullen was mentioning He's doing prep for a show. And like I say they're coming up with creative ways, but it's costing a lot. They're having to hire a lot more people, and it's a It's a whole different ballgame, so it affects everything but again. I'm sorry to run on. But I would certainly hope by February March next year that people are working again. Yeah, and you've got a you've got a couple of things in the canyon got Godzilla to that's that's may be released next year, and you've got a cloning movie that you did right before the pandemic set in. Yeah, Yeah, No, I got lucky with that that that happened right beforehand, And I think that God still of film what they did say that they well, they obviously put that off till a different choices They're choosing, but And then I've got another project that worked with some really great people, and it's being written. It will be a 66 project, but I don't expect that to come back for a while. So least I got things I got irons in the fire. Yeah, you do. And you did such a great job. I got to say With that Hogan narration on the special on the Golf Channel. You will be a hero to a lot of golfers. For a long time for that. So kala hoping, stay with us and listen to our friend Brad Leland and the next segment, and then we'll get you all together a little bit. I would love to hear that commercial again. Did he do that? Just for the show here. Did he do that from fright night life? He did it for Friday night lines. Oh, they sounded good. It sounded really good. Okay, hold the line will be back to the moment..

"Find a way to do that given that he died in the first film so he said if son of Kong was ever going to exist they would need to bring back King Kong for the next film. Find a mate and then they continue the franchise with this offspring of con- so brainstorming yet again shit in. Pressfield's came up with their bridge film whereby Kong survived the fall from the World Trade Center. And he's been kept alive on a respirator. Awaiting an artificial heart dino thought. This was a brilliant idea. He thought that audiences would by this. But do you know was not so convinced about this? Other female Kong being found thinking that King Kong was a unique entity on earth. Shit impressed feel told Dino that King Kong had to have a mother surely there must have been others others that have not been found at some point and so they persuaded him to see things their way. They pitched their idea to this lady. Director John Gillerman who dino had moved off of Tai Pan at that time to put on King Kong lives and they all crafted the sequel that we continue the story from King Kong but not rehash the plot no foul no Kong. Rampaging through the city the main character of this film would be a man of adventure in Indiana Jones type. Who and the conflict primarily would take place out in the untamed areas of rural United States. Another factor in the favor of releasing nineteen eighty-six up Universal Studios tour at that time set June of Nineteen eighty-six to unveil their newest attraction called the King Kong encounter in which visitors would experience being shaken by a rampaging Kong as he appeared in the nineteen seventy six film and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get king. Kong lives into theaters while it was in the Zeitgeist of the public in Hollywood to further. Increase Buzz D. E. G. Delegates Entertainment Group petitioned for King Kong to get it star on the Hollywood walk of fame the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce though rejected that idea despite a few petitions from other organizations now because all everybody was out of contract by this point none of the original cast desire to return except using archival footage shown in the introduction to the film that depicts Khong after he gets shot down from the top of the World Trade Center and falls to the streets below. We come to learn that Kong improbably survived. He's been existing in a coma for the last ten years on life support in giant lab facility in Atlanta awaiting a giant artificial heart to replace the organic one that can no longer support him without medical assistance. Kong also needs a lot of ape plasma for the surgery but there aren't any apes like him to give the blood at that time the lead heart surgeon. Dr Amy Franklin played by Linda Hamilton. She laments that only a miracle can save Kong now that miracle does arrive a soldier of Fortune named tank Mitchell. He discovers that there's another giant ape in the world while he's out there scouting for diamonds in the jungles of Borneo. He finds a way to bring the female ape back to the United States. And there's no real explanation about how he stuff the Tinton beast into an airplane but he brings this back four fortune and glory. The lab needs her plasma but to apes sense the presence of each other immediately. Which makes it particularly dangerous for humans trying to keep these two apes from doing what apes wants to do. Naturally the APES ESCAPE THEIR CONFINEMENT. They run away as fugitives. But the scientists can't have these two roaming the great smoky mountains wrecking havoc. So the military led by the tenacious. Colonel played by John Ashton. He's called in with the army to take whatever measures are necessary. And now it's up to Dr Franklin in Hank Mitchell to lead calm and Lady Kong to safety somehow during this time de la. Renta's had recently bought embassy pictures and he did that so that he could distribute his own films under the banner of the Della Rentis Entertainment Group digi as I mentioned earlier de la Renta's afforded the film initial eighteen million dollar budget four. What ends up mostly playing out like this dull and labored soap opera with giant apes in May of one thousand nine hundred sixty g made a public offering of its stock to try to gin up a little bit more money for the struggling company at this time for the starring role of Hank Mitchell Dino look toward a few actors one prominent one was Peter Weller who was eagerly anticipating at that time getting the role of Robocop. Dino said he would offer him more money than he would be offered for Robocop to do King Kong lives in the end. Weller wisely decided to opt for robocop although he was only going to make about ten percent of what Dina was offering for King Kong lives so real choice between art and money at that point. Dino was also pursuing racing driver Danny Sullivan. He was nineteen eighty-five Indy. Five hundred winner and he was approached by delicious but shoot conflicted with the start of the next racing season so he decided at the advice of his agents to decline Linda Hamilton. She initially balked at doing King Kong lives but the money offered was just too good so she accepted she. Reason that King Kong did not hurt. Jessica Lang's career so wasn't going to hurt hers. She had very little time to prepare though. Because Digi we're going back and forth between her and another actress in negotiating so they didn't decide until the last minute. The Hamilton would be choice. Hamilton's family background in nursing and medicine did help her to get quickly acclimated but she soon regretted these film roles in effect heavy films because the directors on these films hardly work with the actors all. She compared acting in these kinds of films as responding to a cattle prod. During most of the acting scenes the actors did not see the King kongs represented on the screen. It was usually some tall thing with the flag on top that they had to set their lines to so that the special effects wizards can put the cogs in later. But she did. Some of the conch suits that they were going to use at some point and she was amazed at seeing. Kong's changed their expressions and flirt and back there is but at that moment she also realized how bad this movie was likely going to be received and she became horrified at what she had gotten herself into. According to Co Star Brian. Kirwin was growing very unhappy working on the film and she started counting the days until it was behind her. It also came less than a year prior to Hamilton appearing on the TV show as Catherine Chandler as the beauty in beauty and the beast. I guess in this film to but she was the beauty who saved the beast not the beauty who kills him because of that heart transplant. Fred Korea show. He was initially the first producer on the king. Kong lives project but he moved over to do blue velvet for de Lorette instead Della Renta's company Co founder and President Martha Schumacher. Who would eventually become Dino's wife? She took over she had just completed. Maximum overdrive and was available Carlo. Rambaldi now a three time Oscar winners. Since he had done King Kong nineteen seventy-six. He came back for the makeup effects. Rambaldi constructed all new ape costumes because the original ones were now unavailable and he and his team started crafting about a dozen heads for the Kong's in the film depicting various states of mind each outfitted with mechanics that a team of technicians would stand about twenty feet away to control for the giant Kong on the operating table in his opening scene. They used a sophisticated inflatable. One would allow technicians to crawl in and around to simulate his breathing. Rick Baker. Who famously worked on the original King Kong? He felt disrespected for his work on that film so he passed on returning to do the sequel. Now that left to be played by the actor. Peter Elliott this time. He had recently acted in choreographed. The eight talent four. Greystoke Elliott though is only about five feet tall in real life so a lot of blue rating and the use of giant models or miniatures are employed to give the illusion that cog is ten times Elliott size. Elliot had to wear the suit about ten hours a day. Rick Baker could only stand three at a time. Elliott will lose about seven pounds in between putting it on taking it off at the end of the day just from perspiration from the heat and the lack of ventilation within the twenty pounds suit. Dino though felt that Elliott's is look a little too small to be Kong so he had another actor brought in to do some of the close ups in the Kong mask the suits made for Young Lady Kong are pretty much identical except for lady calling has breasts so we have to fixate on that too readily identify her from the mail. Khong S for Baby Kong. Yes.

"In for me a couple of weeks ago when we were going to record of the family classics it was the the the scheduled day to record the family classics for this year's holiday season was the day after I had that accident that I talked about a couple of weeks ago where I tripped in a pothole on Michigan Avenue and sprained my wrist my face was all caught up in black and blue and I had a a bump on on my head the size of a golf ball I looked like somebody beat me up and there's no way that I could have a record of the family classics looking like that so Steve Sanders was nice enough to fill in and did a terrific job as host of this year's family classics this holiday season family classics so we will have monkey business from ten PM until eleven thirty then we'll have our new year's countdown show that all co host with US Surgeon draw and on a bell of all along with the beautiful fireworks along the Chicago River from eleven thirty to twelve fifteen and then the classic wonderful great animal crackers for twelve fifteen until two fifteen Marx Brothers bringing in the new year just like back in the day on WGN I thought it would be an appropriate day to reach out to Frank to say who I starred in the opera Rosen Zani here in Chicago when it originally opened in Chicago and does his own Groucho Marx show has a one man Groucho Marx show Frank good morning and happy holidays to you good morning Dan it's a treat to hear you again thank you for having me on appreciate a treat to hear your voice where are you are you in Los Angeles right now I'm in Los Angeles right now but there's talk of me returning to Chicago for a lengthy run in two thousand twenty so the reporter Jana and in theaters in sunny or at it yeah Donnie and maybe Groucho in there like last time you were so kind to have me on and then that that did really well and even with Groucho so nice at that so great that it's still being put out there doing thank you for perpetuating this on behalf of the fans well I mean one of them this is what I I I I know that your you know one of the top Groucho enthusiasts soon you keep his memory alive in your one man shows that you do talk about the timelessness I mean these movies are from the nineteen thirties but they are whole a just got splitting Lee whole areas still to watch these movies it's it's so true I've had a a for our world you know seek to devote to this whole thing in terms of saying audiences over the last thirty years so let's get this I've done over three thousand performances around the world over five hundred cities and I played all ages people think because an older because it is a material for older crowd and I say that older crowd is already passed on their long gone the one's a sophomore originally so what I see our our all ages I see people in their twenties on dates I see kids I see families one of my favorite stories in terms of how that humor still it's outrageous irreverent humor that need as you know exhilarating and catches you off guard but one of my favorite instances one while on the road was I was in New Mexico and I was doing the graphs are shown as a lot of improv and even in the movies you get a sense of the Marx Brothers spontaneity in the audience and being there was a ninety four year old woman who had seen the Marx Brothers on tour in animal crackers and it was a seven year old boy and they were laughing at the same jokes the same improv that I was doing and I came onstage that night at the this is like what's better than this as a performer right and with that set that says something about their humor intact it appears that cuts across all all types all kinds of books I know when I was in college you know the Marx Brothers were enjoying a resurgence you know it's like a new job the new generations keep you know quote discovering the Marx Brothers because there was there was this and cast kind of quality to these guys constantly thumbing their noses at a forty you know and when your college student that's all you do is thumb your nose at authority everyone knows is that true that a ground you became the spokesman for of the and apparently an anti establishment movement even then I mean what he was always and conservative anti establishment figure in his art and his work is movies onstage but the right in the seventies an hour that's when I discovered him and I loved it when I was in school in a college students blonde on to him they loved him he was like the most requested speaker he was a ladies team as you know that he was with you he was going to kick campuses it was a northwestern actually in the late sixties he was a very popular figure are you know the international certainly and I got to see him before he passed away he was barely moving I think I share this with you before he was still a reverent in of someone else someone what do you think of a I asked him this question is the only thing I was fourteen thirteen years old I don't you think of Nixon I thought that would get his blood boiling is eight mixes make sure not to be in jail and all these college age students went crazy horse you know woman out some Groucho what you dream about you looked at her and said not here you know the quality was shot put the mind to me he was so wrong dean is in on it thank so politically incorrect and I think you know your your animal crackers and he's always played a fraud in those movies you know it is a couple of African explorer the professors president of three Tony you know he's a stowaway in monkey business he's always but anyway I I I applied loved him so much as a boy and I think a lot of us it's funny when I taught because I've done the show for so long and meet people that just their lives the point of view change because they saw Groucho in a movie on television because like people a young people particular to I don't have to look at the world as we don't like everyone else looks at it sees I don't have to play exactly by everyone else's rules and that's what really ground to communicate and that is a thrill to experience by and and the fact that they were also master for what they did the comedy was perfect timing was amazing not only of Groucho but of his brothers Czecho and Harpo and Zeppo I mean the you know the the the three most famous Groucho Chico and Harpo of course or are are masters of comedy masters that up so loosely and musical you know they they and their speech gradual speeches musical trickle speechless and was retained that they hello like music and of course they were all musical I was just a couple weeks ago on thanksgiving I was a at a party and Harpo son was there isn't as AT and he's a jazz composer and the Palestinians and we were singing those songs from the movies you're talking about and it was like a very moving to to be with Harpo sun striking her rate for captain Spaulding the African explorer is is there that it but then it's enough to do is get the lyrics are funny but there's something there's less you said the timing is perfect from all four of them there it's I think that's what happens when you well they have a special connection because their brothers they have a fraternal connection and you fielder brotherhood and if they know what each other's thinking I believe you get that sense that they're aware of what's going to happen next because they shared a room a bedroom growing up these export kids from New York City well in the the supporting characters also are you know fantastic none greater than the great Margaret do want that if a if I remember correctly I've you know some Groucho doing interview great so you used to be on Dick Cavett show all the time their evening as they were pretty good friends but he talked about how he didn't think that Margaret dumont understood one thing that was going on in any of these the perfect the perfect foil for him she's she's unbelievable of course you don't bother you yeah all that is in a proper in the lead in and I love in the lines were brutal and I love them so much as I love making I can see right now in the kitchen bending over a hot stove but I can't see the styles more like if you just say that and Spaulding misuse of so you know it's really a perfect set up she represent the talisman and he's the outsider taking it all down and it's it's just a thing of beauty team as you know so funny so funny I just recently learned we're putting together these family classic the this double feature that we've got the back in the thirties the film board the national film board at the time was just going through motion pictures and ripping them to pieces taking out portions of the films that were deemed unsuitable at at the time it was a censorship board basically and significant portions of these Marx Brothers movies were heavily edited where are you were you aware of that had you heard that I had not I know that there that the there was some editing on some of these and there are scholars out there searching for they know that you'd be looking at early copies of the sounds of these clips and that's ongoing it's you know it's it's some it's really remarkable in my travels around the world the the the fan base is still significant yeah and a lot there's a lot of love for them out there still well the diversion of animal crackers that we have was discovered the the a copy of the film in perfect condition was discovered at like the British Film Institute or someplace where the American censors hadn't gotten their hands on it and the version that we are going to play on new year's eve is the original on edited version of which is a little double entendre a you know for nineteen thirty so very very risque so I hope this is I hope people tune in for that that's wonderful and in the the story in animal crackers worth sharing is but it was a Broadway show that had a Broadway tryout first played Broadway and toured and then the film was made one of the earliest examples of of musical comedy film was animal crackers in the before that the coconuts and it's got so many great things of course discuss the captain Spaulding statement which is a whole number it's unbelievable and our phone should go on both are hilarious not bridge saying in the table into Montana right it's an outrageously wonderful so I love to sing with ground John Roscoe W. Chandler but a mix up the names in the my name is Paul the captain Geoffrey T. Spaulding and I'm Roscoe W. Chandler I'm swallowed a cabinet it just goes on in the course and tell me you Catherine Chandler swapping Sponheim Spaulding your chance let's not no more that either it's better not being Spaulding and inductors goes off you know is in it was obviously an improv that happened you know and the Arab states and then became part of the film but there really is a sense of that wildness and freedom in animal crackers hits it set at the end is cut it since it has a subversive deal to lighten as we're darkness to it in the course it's very musically that route you got great solos by heart bone Czecho and in the open up you know you just is not not enough movies are made with heart these a harp solos anymore yeah what is that I don't know that was so trippy the you know their air is this a rip roaring whole areas comedy and then all of a sudden it stopped so one.

We'll be one of the sponsors chatter, March twenty nine and sponsored by cricket and they're going to as always have maybe a thousand people there right down the way at the VFW hall on lake Austin to raise money for mutiny and then also on April twentieth. Forever grain tournament out at lines mini and sign Appleby available. Very very same. And you better sign up for that quickly because that the spots in that go very very very fast because a lot of people who wanna play in that tournament and make it a point to play to raise raise money to say. Yeah, there's a there's a lot of people. You know, we were with a guy named Jimmy James this week who played the top hundred golf courses. Gop digest. Yeah, man. And he was he was talking about how he was welcomed in all these clubs around the country and. You know, he's tired of all this talk of racial divide. And and how golf is such a social game and a way for people to come together. And he's all in Africa. And we're going to have him on the show. Very same. We are. It was interesting just we talked about dolphin often. He said he played live this book as you heard about lions in Houston from his Houston franchise. I made a point to come down here. So that's great. It's getting attention. Not only locally but statewide and even nationally on on saving, saving, our great golf. And there's a story also in the west Austin news about Peter barber. "And you know, as you see him in a good in a good mood, and then, but you'd leave for second you turn around he'd be dealing something else a complete different person really taking care of business. So I think he I think to beat George Clooney you have to compartmentalize the different worlds that are around you to fit your way through because there's nowhere. The man can go without being recognized or seen or what have you? But just a real gentleman and his wife. Was wonderful. And of course, he's got two little babies right now too. So he's a busy, man. Yeah. Wonderful and you were not on the motorcycle rag witting. No. That motorcycle scary. What? Yeah. It was a big scooter actually in the reason that they could catch seen. What happened was because they were right? Right near I think where they lived. And there was a security cameras. They caught that accident. But boy, he was he was sure lucky you're lucky any any questions with you about doing a series on Hulu from a movie that was made forty years ago. Any any qualms about should? I should I do this project because some people will remember catch twenty two of the movie. Oh, yeah. I I definitely was of the idea that this is a bad idea before like I said before I saw the script. Katherine had started reading she knew immediately. And you could tell Luke Davies the writer and Luke Davies is fantastic. Beautiful. Boy is out right now, he's got that outlet theaters. And and he's got he's got some other wonderful things. He's done that. He's very good writer, and this he explained the work that he put in to catch twenty two which is a story of over one hundred and fifty characters that he took a year, and and distilled down to about ten or twelve characters, and he just created this incredible story. And of course, we're on Sardinia shooting for the forties and worth this airport. That hasn't had a plane land on it since nineteen fifty and we're out there and they're bringing in to twenty five from the United States. It actually flew in separately not together. I'll be twenty five. Yeah. They've got a younger out there. The real deal. They've got a there was a a Messerschmitt out there. But it was it was it was pre war time. It was back when the Versailles treaty was was still enacted and they had trainers. But as soon as the trainers were done, a willy Messerschmitt headed all design salt. They had to do shrink the planes down a little bit which was simple to do. And then there were fighter craft. And so you. It was just all this trucks. And all the all the canvas that you could smell from World War Two, and the Vietnam tents that they had they it looks great. And it looks the film. It's it's beautiful looking textures. And it's just fantastic. And you said the explosions were pretty realistic. Wow. I'll tell you what they used some they use some explosives. They sure did I like fireworks show in dripping springs. Just about not quite as extensive is that a damn near. We're visiting with Kyle Chandler, our great friend who is a very very very very busy man with many projects Iran around the globe. What is your next project their chemo savvy? What what what's your next time out of town? I'm going to finish one one day on Godzilla. There's. I did a Godzilla that comes out just a few days after catch twenty two this year. Great. And then they're already shooting the one after that. And so I've got a role. Matt I've got one day left in a few months to go to Australia to Brisbane. Wow. And and shoot that which hoping to stay there for awhile and either go over to New Zealand visiting friends and also get a get a motorcycle on and hot from Brisbane down sibling. Which is a a passion. Laterite the by. And what was the what was it got Jill ally? Was it was it a horned toad that was blown up or was it a real monster? Well. It's a real good. I know. I can't reveal any of that kind of. Back at all, those Japanese maybe. I'll tell you what he's a mean looking at. So he's he's a mean looking fellow hurt? They made his feet beggar. I I didn't hear that. Hollywood film that in Atlanta. Is that right? Yeah. We filmed that in Atlanta that I shop the second one some of it out. But I will tell you that while we were shooting the first ones. The gentleman who did where the suit he he passed away while we're over there. So it's a man in a suit originally, a rich. Oh, okay. Original got yellow yet. Look, if you watch the original Godzilla learn a lot about what what Japan looked like just a few years after the war was over and you'll get some references to the atomic bombs being dropped in this night. It's it's interesting. How the that movie sucks up the culture, that's there. And you're looking at the real devastation of Japan after the war. I mean, it's very interesting. And this was Godzilla king of the monsters and the next movie is got versus calm. That's right. That's right. And a little trivia here is that I've fought cong- once before have you? Yes. You did New Zealand. George champions getting out of your man. Hey, he's got that shirt on buttoned down three. We are broadcasting live from the cabaret. It's what time is it six twenty. That guy is just with a single late club is just knocking them dead. But explain to our lifters why those guys went to Dubai not to San Diego. It's pretty money. It's all about money explained. Well, the Americans go over there because since they're not European tour member. And since there's no restriction on money. The agents who liked to get a piece of the deal go over and make a deal for their players to get a million dollars or million and a half dollars. And I bet Bryson's getting about a million dollars in guaranteed money to play over there. And so good for him. Well, I know and and what do you think DJ's DJ and kept or both there? So our friend David Waco. The former Longhorn is having a great pay day bringing those guys Sergio's over there and Sergio was in Singapore last week in Dubai this week. So yeah. I cannot I cannot act out my role, and and produce and direct and all this would you look at it, please. And maybe maybe we could take my role, and I had the same response. I was like wow, catch twenty two. Been very made already. I don't want to just look. And then of course, I read it to actually my wife, Catherine. He's sitting right next to me, the Athol, Catherine Chandler. She read it first, and I had just walked into the room. She goes, you're doing it, really. And boy, it's a great script.
