"Winning season you know compete for the play offs when it playoff game and then the next year when super bowls, you know the catalyst for at least those first few was the belief in ourselves I mean it it's. was very simple that. Was it I've played six guys that are now in the football hall, Nfl Hall of fame, and just the the talent on those teams and but we're all young players. Then we didn't you didn't have. The the opportunity looking into a crystal ball all in seeing what the end of your career is going to be like or the accolades down the road but. At the time, just the the callous the guys working out in the offseason together of going above and beyond the call of duty bettering ourselves in the practice room on the practice field and the weight room you know doing the right things you know off the field it. It was just a very, very special environment in a very, very special team, and of course, you know the coaches were you know Jimmy. Johnson initially was very driven, very focused and He was like probably that The. Great Santini. A military commander Squadron Commander that would just. You know guys up and down but you knew where he stood and you knew what was expected and we performed. One thing that the Bill Walsh told me and I have observed over the years since I got to know the forty niners pretty well, and even looking at the Dallas cowboys was that the leadership comes out of the locker room not so much from the general manager or from the coach, and of course, you had a veteran team you had a successful team, where was the leadership coming from in the Dallas Club? Both definitely it's always Lacrima and I firmly agree with what coach Walsh that it's. It's the guys in the locker math to to buy into the vision that you know the owner sets and that the coaches set. But, once they buy into that, it's they're the ones they're the field commanders that have to execute the game plan and and. And be willing to buy into it and to motivate either your veteran player to motivate the rookies to play and you know to set the tone set that culture and it's and they're the ones again, I'll go back to that experience. The guys who was not necessarily you know do as I say but here watch me. Watch how I practice, watch my work ethic look at the the sacrifices that I making so that we can win super bowls and that was contagious in a lot of those younger guys they came in. You know they bought into that at as did I and he you know. Life goes a lot easier when you're winning games and you can win super bowls and it's not as much fun when you're struggling but. Those were some again, just very special times a very unique experience. We got about forty five seconds before we have to break here but I'm just imagining what it was like for you having been an airman having flown high-performance aircraft standing on the sideline of a super bowl when those jets overhead before the game starts, you know it was it's kind of funny because of those three super bowls. When we do the flyovers, all the guys would be sitting there watching chat you know see what he says and then they'll come up to me afterwards and say, Hey, what were those are those F. sixteens eighteen And then Super Bowl thirty in Phoenix I had some of the my former teammates from the Air Force Academy that were actually in on participating in the fly by so that that made it extra special and and you know I. Occasionally Al my mind Adrift and think about you know days gone by where you know I was flags flying those jets. So there was always a special time for me. Chad hennings is with us here on sports byline. When we come back, we're going to talk about another project of his one that's very important and I'm going to recommend to everybody he has written a fascinating book called forces of character conversations. About building a life of impact and he sat down with ten extraordinary individuals some famous some not discover the moments, the mentors and the mindsets that transformed their lives, and some of those people are people like Roger Staubach also Troy, Aikman Kerry Casey Tom Hendricks and others, and we'll do that as we continue across the country and around the.

"Here listening to the voice of Pittsburgh. I am Lin. He's Breeland, my my court and crime. Robert Man Gino has the week off. He's actually taking some much needed vacation time. I I was just shocked when he told me it had been more than 10 years. Since he had actually taken a week in vacation time. I am I don't know what happened all that vacation time he didn't use on. Certainly, If I had known him over all that time, I'd gladly used The time he didn't take, but he's taking it this year, and I'm glad he's taking advantage of the time he's so well deserved. In the meantime, we are busy at work, and this is an interesting week for him to take off because this is The week of the Democratic National Convention. I remember when I first came Tio radio some time ago. I remember talking to Tamyra about this weekend. I remember saying who goes To the who goes to the political conventions thinking at the time. Wow. Maybe we can take the show on the road and go to AA the Democratic National Convention. Little did I know that this would be a convention, unlike any conventions, and it would be in fact, a virtual convention, but it has the potential there going to be 100 live shots across the country. S so it's going to feel different, but it probably I's gonna have in some ways more excitement. It's just not gonna have all those balloons. State representative Austin Davis joins us now on the disc Institute of Pittsburgh News line, and he is going to be participating all week long. Welcome to the conversation, sir. Why, thank you. And thanks for having me today you were You were physically there in 2016. Correct? Yes, I was. I was physically we were. She's interested. Remember where we were at 2016. We were in Philadelphia and 20 over quick. Yes, I was actually there. That was that your 1st 1 was at your first convention. Yes, that was my first convention, and I was there as a member of the platform committee. So the community that helped shape the platform for the Democratic Party for the next four years. So when you look at there's a there's a different energy. It's kind of interesting to me because you're not physically in one place this year for the convention, But it seems like there's a lot of energy excitement going into this year. There is, I think, you know we are all a little disappointed that we we could not gather together in Milwaukee, like we had planned for this week for this year's convention, but Democrats are fired up and energize. We're excited. About the possibility ability of electing Joe Biden as our president, and Kemal Harris, a czar vice president Ahn We believe we have a strong vision for America that rid us of Corona virus and put AH give it a boost our economy and put people back to work on. We're excited to take that message message out of the convention. To the American people and show that we are united as a party could defeat Donald Trump in November. So now here's what I didn't realize. And I probably never looked at it. He's closely before because I pretty much I am that person there would only watch at night. And what only wants the big name speakers. I I'll just own that. But there are sessions that go on throughout the day. So like I was just looking, and they're several sessions that have already started. You're going to be speaking later this week and one of the daytime sessions. Yes, Yes, there are and we kicked it off. Actually, this morning with the Pennsylvania delegation has had a virtual breakfast point. We will have one everyday. I heard from Senator Bob Casey Tom Perez, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, doing that over before, But I am speaking later this week on a panel for rising stars. In the Pennsylvania in the calm of the Pennsylvania people were rising in politics who they believe will be two leaders, future members of Congress future governors, So I'm really honored to be selected. To serve on the panel with some some really dynamic young leaders on. I really look forward to doing that on Wednesday, and nobody thinks it's almost all the activity of all activities. But if they're all taking place, actually Now. I noticed when I was looking at the website today, so we can actually log in and watch. Some of those is that something we could have done before? Is that a new feature this year because it's all virtual. You know what? No, I think you could have done that. In the past. I think we had live streamed live events. You know, we obviously pulling more infrastructure this year because it's all virtual, But you could, And I think at the time span four years ago when we were on all the different sessions back, uh, back so you could log in and watch him watch them azalea play along. But, you know, we've put a lot of structure in place to take this. Ah convention really bring in everybody's living room so they don't have to leave the house that fully participate in the work of the Democratic National Committee on convention as it as it takes place. Show. I was looking at the rundown for tonight, and I mean, I was already kind of excited because of I wanted to hear Bernie Sanders. I wanted to hear Michelle Obama. I think that case it's who's going to be interesting and that I saw Andrew Cuomo was on the line up for tonight, too. Yeah. I mean, I think it's I think it's a great symbol of how Lord our party is. The Democratic Party is truly a big tent party on. We want to be inclusive of all Americans from progressive like Bernie Sanders, Tio Teo people that are fans of Michelle Obama. Even conservatives like John cases, Your Democrats have a vision and a plan for all Americans. And we want Teo. I want to go on earning each every vote regardless of their party police. So do you think that's what the message is going to be that the Democratic Party is is reaching out to be inclusive because there are many who would argue? That there's a lot of times the Republican Party doesn't feel very inclusive, right? No, absolutely. I think tonight is all going to be about unity and inclusiveness. I think you're going to see Bernie Sanders, you know, tonight for a party of somebody who was the runner up for a nomination, who battled to five in the primary. So when you say that, you know, progressive Mars. Ahh and even conservative Democrats can't come together for a vision for America on I think, I think Michelle Obama highlight you know its transformational figure in our party and is really going to speak to the monumental moment in the time that we're living in. And I think you know, Governor case it is going to be critical. So to highlight that there are a number of Republicans who are not supporting Donald Trump's bid for reelection on I think there are a number of former members of Congress that they come out of the door. Vice President Biden and the next day or so, so I think it's going to be on exciting, exciting evening of unity in our party on how we as Democrats, Khun bring people together. Well, here's the deal. I know you're going to be writing. I'm going to be watching. You're going to join us again tomorrow. Same time. We're going to break it down and we'll see if you and I both had the same reaction. Thanks so much for joining us today and we'll talk to you again tomorrow. Thanks So much. Thanks. All right. It's 1 15 Generally. Traffic.

Such a a goal of mine that when sticks with you for longtime. How do your parents feel about your success? Now? Were they like thousand inevitability, or are they blown away? Where how do they take it i? Think they're just is probably just a shocked as I was. The I'm where I'm at you know just because you know like you said man I never never did. Show thing so when they come and see me now you know when I was out on tour. Old Rascal, flatts playing these huge. Either hockey arenas. AMPHITHEATRES you know we're open up for these economic bans like the flats I think it's just. It's just crazy for them to see that in NBA like. What, where did this come from their super surprised, super happy in event, super supportive of just a move to national in general now after moving to town I realized that that wasn't always. The case with people's parents says Mansa tough business like and. Neo No parent wants to see their kid embark on something that that most of the time doesn't work out the way that they they cannot see it, but man parents are great, have been nothing but supportive It's been awesome. Your son writer at heart, which is evident in like how well songs are doing, but you. You went to this town to have other people. Cut your songs. Who would you love to have? Play one of your songs that hasn't. Hasn't yet. Oh, man! If you were to call me and tell me I got like a pair. Churches kept on your song. That'd be like holy smokes. They don't massive Brad Paisley Fan. That's why like this thing. When the pandemic kit we're slated, go towards this summer and that had to go away and and you know I don't think it's GonNa work out to get back out the next year so You know that's like now kind of heartbreaking. On the tired record is. One one of my favorite records of all time. So yeah like Church Paisley Sang in one of my songs would be be pretty wild, pretty poor critical. What songwriters would you love to cover on one of your records? Tom Douglas Casey bettered. It's crazy in and I'm sure you've probably heard a lot of to, but there so many songs in town. That have never been released have never been recorded. That all there is is a demo in its. You know some of the best that have ever been written. And I feel like Casey Tom or two that. Just had this. rolodex of uncut songs that are amazing are actually talking this morning I wrote. A Song Hillary, Lindsey and Jesse Frazier. That's on this EP in Hillary. Singing on the track and she just saw her voice is just so amazing. I want to just be like Hillary go in. Get twelve demos. And just record, and just put them out like just picked I twelve. And I guarantee you. It's like it would end up being like a grammy, award, winning record, but It just so many talented writers town. So many amazing songs that I hope get her, but unfortunately the sad thing is probably a lot of. Won't but yeah. My two favorites Casey Better Tom Douglas the new EP self titled Jordan Davis is out now. Almost maybes has been the single that was released has been out for good bit. If people are only familiar with that first single, what can they expect from the rest of the record? Man I'm all about the even with home. State like balance is such. A big is such a big thing with me with my albums. I, an amazing producer in pottage Vanni we worked really hard at having songs that feel good and they're fun to play. Laugh is that's a huge thing of what we do, so you have the songs like sandwich you up, almost maybe take it from me. But but also the balance of of the songwriting with detours in Church Chevy leaving New Orleans you know I hope it hits, you is I. Hope It. There's as much in. It is his home state, but it's just me this next chapter in this next. Of growth of me as a person you know is a new dad is husband. just a little, a little more a little deeper look in the in the maze. Person in growth is in Arctic, says well. I want to be respectful of your time, so I won't let you go before I do. Can we do some rapid fire questions with Jordan Davis absolutely all right here. We go I one therapy stopping. Sausage biggest mentor who might go my grandfather's both Oh. What were they? Do you godly man? Hard workers blue-collar dudes? They were everything man. Just a I love both of those guys a lot. Who is the first kiss Gurney militia in eighth grade? What late late I kiss to man. As pretty good I think. I guess that's why I really don't like you. Don't camp. Those like picks in fifth grade like spin the bottle, though so yeah Alicia, oh my Gosh I'm blanking on this thing probably good. Probably we'll just go to Lisa. The listening to this being like that mother. Doesn't. Both the first concert. You ever went to John Anderson back in Shreveport at the Strand Theatre. John Anderson I guess is probably early nineties, ninety four or something like that. What was your first car? Nineteen sixty nine jeep wagoneer, the wagon ear. Did it have the fake wood molding on the side or they started making net in seventy? I was last sixteen hours last year that it was just aluminum or Whatever medal citing all the way round, but breaks were iffy at best. done so far and actually even not interviews like people we talked to in town is Brooks obviously that's crystals boyfriend the last person to have seen her before she just appeared there's a lot of accusations out there both by the community by the family but also by law enforcement he's been named the suspect he's never been charged with anything in connection with crystal's disappearance but I think to tell his side of things news is important to this story and to see what he has to say or if we can find his brother Nick who was the Bardstown police officer who's fired it's time to see of Nick or Brooks will talk to us so this week that's what we're going to do but we know they're used to getting unwanted attention kind of attention that screams out from the signs around town where about one mile from folks how House we're GonNa see if he's home and willing to talk to us about crystal this is the the main suspect police call a suspect I actually hope he is home because I think people need to hear what he has to say whatever that is but before we get to that of the story we want to tell you what's happened in the last few years in Bardstown it might not surprise you to learn twenty years of prison time this is the first real thing that has happened he's got by with so much touch that has just been unbelievable even though it doesn't have anything to do with my daughter it's actually showing some his true colors and the kind of person that he is and I was just very happy about that and in two thousand Nineteen Brooks is acquitted just into our newsroom about three "Is looking at the actions taken here that this was someone who needs to be off the streets and it also it is also clear that he had a very lengthy criminal record going back quite some time the suspect who held nice town under siege yesterday is in custody not yet charged the district attorney Larry Krassner says Maurice hill is expected to face the kind of charges that could put the thirty six year old in prison for the rest of his life that was one of the news conferences we had on live on KYW this afternoon another one at city hall with mayor Kenny police commissioner Ross and a slew of other politicians and officials and community advocates they will do crime and justice reporter Kristin Johannson I was at both issues with this live now Kristin yeah the in the real I was the focus here at this press conference at city of at city hall today in the mayor's room reception room over there was with you know the federal let US by US senator Bob Casey Tom Wolfe the commissioner and the mayor everybody standing around talking mostly about gun laws in about gun safety and how there needs to be a ban on assault rifles at the federal state local levels commissioner Ross went into a little bit of detail about the investigation into what happened yesterday saying that they're still have to go through that home they have crime scene officers are going to go to that home but there are still some tear gas that may be left over so they're gonna have to wait to let those fumes kind dissipate I do not sure exactly whether or not neighbors are even allowed in around that area but he spoke a little bit about how really traumatizing this may have been for the police officers and how terrified he was personally saying that he never thought that the way that it resulted in a peaceful way that it kind of came to conclusion was going to happen he thought that it could have been much worse yet to swat officers suck in that house and he said that those hours those five hours they were stuck in the house was absolutely terrifying those two officers they said were very who wrote like they told all of their other fellow police officers not to come in and save them the just stay away from the gunfire they would be okay eventually thankfully they got them out the mayor there applauding the police department applauding the commissioner for all of their efforts yesterday and obviously there's much more they were gonna be learning about this investigation but there's also not much more they can tell us because there's they sought to go through a process see did the the commissioner explain what happened with those two officers first how they got to where they were in the house and and I guess they were away from from this suspect they weren't in in imminent danger not necessarily imminent danger but the question was asked about what about exactly how they got in there there was a search warrant that was being served at that home we know that it was drug related we're not exactly sure what what the warranty is for they won't go into detail yet about that but he also said that that's something they're going to be looking at he couldn't exactly answer that question to us even though we ask you said you got to keep some stuff close to the vest for prosecution purposes of but what we do know is that there has actually is on the call the roll you and I looked at this actually a series of pictures of us and we found out it was this broke this kind of auxiliary machine that was able to get to that second floor of the home and get them out safely it almost looks like an elevator left or something like that that you'd see in front of the building with a shield over it and they worry that's how they were able to eventually struck us you yeah a piece of a very specialized police equipment that they don't want to tell us much about we don't deserve to know much about because it's all about the safety of the officers and those officers of course of course more in in extreme danger just to not in the same room as as far as we know with the with this gunman this suspect Kristen Johannsen with us live let's get an update of traffic.

"Then I was thinking to myself that would be too strong. But it isn't too strong. I think he does hate to see. So he will be very happy today. Well that in about an hour, but we're gonna talk some Pac twelve hoops. And as you pointed out, not a great weekend for the conference specially for your cats UCLA went down struggling again and a Casey Jacobsen. Former Stanford all American good enough to join us courtesy of the McKesson, Casey. Tom, and John it's a pleasure beyond with you guys. How are you? Today were good tremendous you I couldn't be better man Christmas season. I got three young daughter. So we're doing doing the president thing and called vessel seasons here too. So I'm having a great time. How old are the girls? So my daughter twelve ten and a daughter. Daughters were enough, man. Either way if the white flag. Those are great ages though. That is awesome. So let's talk about the Pac twelve or as I like to call it the Missouri valley of the west. This conference stinks. I mean, they're killing me. Now, I was like having fun with it a couple of weeks ago, but guy Lee, it's like everywhere. I look football's getting beaten up basketball's getting beaten up. I mean, my cat scored forty nine at home against Baylor. Really? I don't even care who it was a scored forty nine at home that that sickens me enough UCLA loses the Belmont at home. It goes on and on Casey. What the hell's going on with the league? Yeah. It's it's it's down. Hey, look, this is it's okay. To say, it's the Pac twelve has been awesome in putting you know MBA talent on the floor. You're you're outside. I always try to remind people who want to have a conversation about how terrible attack others. They put more NBA players in the last decade than any conference except the ACC. So to me it hasn't been a talent issue is a ton of talent. There has been for years in the Pac twelve and and this year's no session. We do in a new era of basketball, though, the one and done era is difficult to navigate it's you're not do Kentucky and Kansas. I it can be hard throw the throw that you know, or combine that with the fact that two of the five programs that were that were really really touched by the FBI investigation where USC those are two programs this year that are. Really struggling with their talent level. So I'm not trying to make excuses. I'm more giving you reasons, but if we break down this year, look, it's been disappointing UCLA at me, the most you because I feel like Jalen hands coming back Chris Wilkes coming back. Freshman who are arguably good enough to go after their first year? You get them to come back to the top. Right. Your your expectations. Go then they recruit guys Moses, brownie seven one center, who's good. Still trying to adjust to the game. They do have two guys that are out to their freshman that are out our was a point guard. So they don't have an entirely full roster. Usually it's one of those teams like you can't do that either Belmont with a fantastic program. But you're at home and you need a win. Like, you you need to prove that you belong. You're going to be one of the top three teams to lose it on a backdoor cut the way they lost. It was really heart wrenching as well. Know, I I don't know if this has anything to do with it. But when I look over, and we have Eric Muslim and all the time, and what they're doing it Reno when obviously consistently, you know, what they're doing at Gonzaga what Randy Bennett's doing it Saint Mary's those kind of things I always think no matter where you are. You can have a great basketball program. But but does that affect the Pac twelve at all that all that these west coast schools are having that kind of success because it doesn't the way that they do things. I guess they're not directly taking talent from Pac twelve schools, especially the way that say Saint Mary's does it. No, I don't think that those two things are related. I. Day. And I was like, you know, because we were talking about the Pac twelve and I was like, isn't it interesting that only three western United States basketball programs at the college level since nineteen sixty only three programs have won a national, title and basketball UCLA, which one many UNLV which one one in the early nineties and Arizona in nineteen ninety seven and that is it. So that's crazy. You really think about it? And to me the two programs that have the best chance to cut down the nets two years, our mid managers Vada, Gonzaga. I just find that fascinating. But to go back to your point, Tom. I think I don't think those programs are yanking or pulling away from from Pac twelve schools UCLA USC Zona have recruited really, well, the only guy that I can remember that Zaka Yankee way was Nigel williams-goss the former point guard for university of Washington who ended up having a fantastic year and lead them to the national title game thousand seventeen besides that they haven't necessarily poll guys away from Pac twelve schools. So it's on it's on the coaching. It's on the guys too. You know to step forward and win these games. Just two wins against top twenty five competition. Pac twelve so far. That's crazy. That is. Yeah. I mean, I still a ways to go. But you're going to start getting into the part of the season where you're playing each other's. You're not gonna get as much as a bump as you'd like to get. I mean, it just I'm looking at right now. And I'm thinking my goodness. This could be a two or three bid league. So last time the Pac twelve looked a little bit. Like this wasn't two thousand twelve eleven twelve season. Trevor wash ado who were coached by. Talked about this on your show already. But they won the conference fourteen in four they went in the conference, but they're non conference was so bad that they didn't get a bit. And only two teams made it out. I think it was California Colorado, I believe when with Spencer Dinwiddie, maybe when he was still playing there. Those are the only two teams that made the NCW term it. So that's the first time ever in the history of the power five conferences at a conference champion didn't make it to the tournament. I don't think that'll be the case this year. But you know, we have seen something kind of like this. I really like Arizona state. They're eight one right now, they're they're playing a game as we speak. I I've seen them in person. They're fantastic really authentic and they're much better defensively than any Bobby Hurley coach team that he's had. So I I like Arizona state, but UCLA we already talked about them. They gotta get better than the other teams, Oregon, Oregon. They've oughta pieces now that ball ball ball ball did not play in the last game honest, but they don't know how long it's going to be out. Or if it's going to be something that keeps them out for you know, to have surgery on they said, no initially. But you never know what these things and they just got one of their their five star freshman Lewis king back. He's a six seven wing. He's really really talented and have paid. Richard point guards the junior who who was on that final four team a couple of years ago. So they're a team to me that really. Get together and start pulling in the right direction. That's a team that will be a top three finish in the Pac twelve and maybe a tournament talking to Casey Jacobsen Jacobsen about Pac twelve hoops. You know, we we've talked about this with football as well. The last year, they go one and eight and games. Football teams are off to start with Arizona state losing. But when it comes to football, I always think USC has got to be at the top. And then there's kind of a pecking order behind that. I know that UCLA Arizona's got to be up there as well. But you talked about some of the things that are going to see. But what about UCLA because I always think that if the Pac twelve is going to be the Pac twelve as they used to be in hoops UCLA has kinda gotta be at the lead of that. To me. Amazon is an has been the flagship basketball program for the Pac twelve in the last decade decade. Now, if you want to expand it more, you UCLA's at the forefront, but in in modern history, at least the high school kids are we're talking about that that have grown up that are now sixteen seventeen eighteen years old. They've known Arizona to be the best team in the Pac twelve but but you are right. Like imagine the ACC with Duke and Carolina bull struggling at the same time. I mean, that's it's hasn't happened. At least in my in recent memory that I that I can remember. So when you're a power conference your flagship programs, our flagship free reason, they they have to carry you went down years. And so even if this is gonna be a really really good Arizona state team, or even if Utah rises up, and you know, has Jaka Purtill and a couple of first rounder. It's still not the same in less. Those brand names are strong, and when they're not strong. This is what we're left with talking about. You know? Hey, are we going to get two? Maybe three bids for the NC, double A tournament's, not blaming Arizona and UCLA, but you know, because they're they're doing the best that they can right now. But you do have to start with them. It is just the the crown. You heavy is the head wears the crown for UCLA in Arizona. It's their responsibility to kinda carry this conference. And right now that they're trying to find themselves. Duke, obviously gets the lion's share the attention most years and this year even more so conserve their fabulous freshman with Williamson bearing Redditch. And obviously they got other do players that are four or five star type guys. But is this a team you look at it and think they could they could they be favored to win the national championship all the way through or is it because they're your best players are three freshmen, you worry about a few bumps in the road here there. Yeah. So freshman Laden teams struggle at times, and they haven't really well in the only program really in recent history guys that have been that who's best player. Clear clearly was a freshman was John Calipari Kentucky team with Anthony. Davis two thousand twelve most of the time when Lassen to wanna national title in two thousand fifteen to have heard. Have. Julia look foreign tires, George were freshmen, and we're making big shots against Wisconsin. The championship game that team had Quinn. Cooked team has Jefferson at power for starters. Who so you have to? I think the key for NCAA success is first of all talent like NBA talent. I can't remember he's still teams. They put four guys in the NBA out for you know, a program. That's not really known as as getting MBA guys. You don't win at the college level at its final fours and national titles without NBA player. So you start there. But it's got to be a combination of veterans to you. Don't just throw a five fresh out there. Like looking at five they were good enough. You can't tell me they weren't getting enough. But they Rancho North Carolina team that was just a little bit more veteran it happens. So I still think Duke is a fantastic team. But I do think definitely gonna be some bumps in the road. They start for freshmen and Jack white Jack White's good. But he's not that good..

"Janine Berger Gillette, owner of tweet tags on a mission to ensure all paths where ID tags all the time. Welcome to I'm so happy to have you here. I absolutely love this idea. And these are really a little bit different. When you think about tags, you think about the metal tags. Are you really have a an adorable idea here? How did you get started with tweet go pet ID tag? Sure. Well, I'm actually a product development person by trade. And then I became a pet parents. And one of the things that I was really I was on a mission to train keep his tags quiet because in the middle of the night. He would move around. All kinds of crazy things we weren't used to the noise. That's no, we tried very multiple different things to actually quiet his head from taping them to buying different products. And I just come up with or I couldn't find anything in the market that actually work to my affection. So I woke up one morning sketched it out and showed my husband, and he said, hey, that's not a bad idea. That's how it all began. Well, these are really adore Bubby. People definitely have to look at the pictures. We'll be posting and go to your website, and such because they are different. And I liked the idea that you think they're so important, and you say that you're on a mission that all pets where ID tags. Why do you think that's so important? Well. Yeah. You actually go outside without your driver's license. Exactly. Yeah. Sometimes, but I try to exactly. We forget sometimes right? You know, our pets don't have a voice. So they do have an identity. They do have a personality. They do you know, they know what they know. And they they like what they like, but they can't actually speak for themselves. So your ID tags actually help speak for themselves. And then I d tag is the quickest way to get home, but all pets should carry at least an ID tag be micro-chipped as well as your any local municipality tax, but you might require like our neighborhood requires us to register him every year as well as provide documentation that he had his shot. Right. So those are really important to have them wear. And if you've ever heard a pack of dogs coming down the street with the dog Walker. That's right. Exactly. Isn't exceptional noise. And we should say your baby. Is it me? Love me. Lou. Lou me, Lou. Yeah. That's your brand. He's our brand ambassador. Now, he's a certified therapy dog. And we work with children is fantastic. Now, let's talk about how are different because they really are. They're interactive. So you know, a couple of things that regular ID tags. Do they make the noise, right? And Secondly, they actually clip on with that silly split ring. And I don't know if you've ever really hurting your thumbs and your finger trying to play those open. So I was like, well if I'm gonna make an ID tag. I wonder eliminate that too. It just self 'attaches onto any Ohring endearing and you can pull on it. You can tug on it. And it won't come off. It doesn't actually even unlimited self because it's it's the way it's manufactured. And then you just simply right boy one wear so I have a few daycare facilities that don't actually boil them. And they just wipe them off when they get a new dog. So they use those and they write the dog's name on the on the back, and then they remove it every time another dog comes in and they use them, and we should explain that. You can actually when I say they're interactive because you can write things on the back. They come with this cute little pen. And for instance, like you said at a daycare, they can change different names may be. But if it's your dog, you can maybe say to them one of your examples is on allergic to something or you know, maybe to nap at a certain time or I don't like to walk. But I also love that. They're waterproof. I love yet. They're not as you know, a typical tag would be so inflexible. These are really flexible and seemed like they'd be much more comfortable for the dog or for the cat because they're for both. Yes. And they way less than an ounce. So they're extremely light. They don't make the noise with the cats. We actually loop around the collar instead of the O ring. And then it's as much more flat. And the cat has no idea that it's on and these days were noble, and we're mobile with pets. So you know, you may be going on vacation with your pet to. Let's say, you know, the beaches you might want an actual ide- tag. That says, you know, I'm me Lou from Hoboken, call the cell or have a difference a temporary address on there. That's right. You're staying if you have a dog Walker your dog walkers responsible for your dog and the point of. Context that very moment is your dog Walker. And if somebody finds your dog and calls you then you're in a panic and your dog Walker doesn't have the direct line of communication to go and get the dog. So it saves a little bit of a step as well. Well, they're absolutely adorable and they're easy to use. Which is a good as you said because you can hurt your hands with those sort of old inflexible ones. They're cute too. You have different styles. Available in different sayings. Right. Yeah. Absolutely. Why should a tag be boring? You know, we have personalities are pets have personalities. You know, that's a way to you know, to emotes for your pets and show. What you love about your pet. Really? These are wonderful. So Bravo to you Janine response have people probably really like it is they see it. Yeah. We're available on Amazon dot com. Okay. We're also available direct at tweet. Go tags dot com. T W. I G O T H E S dot com. We're also available in about six or seven different countries as well. Fantastic. Is this your first product, it's my first product as my own. Yes. I making products for other people for many many years. Oh, almost twenty years in the baby and toy industry. So this is the first time I'm doing it for myself. Well, this is great. So listeners it's tweet. Go tags. Janine told you where you can get in touch with her are you on Facebook to Janine for on Facebook and Twitter. Great. So people can follow you there. I thank you so much. And I wish you luck. Because I think you have a real winner here. These are not only fun. But again, they're better for your pen. I think easy and really functionable and just a real really really a great idea here. So these are pet ID tags. Thank you Janine. Oh, thank you Laurin. Have a great day you too now. I'd like you to say Hello to Debbie Viney who is the account executive of B H pet gear Debbie your dog is Jerry Lee, right? Yes. Yes. That's great. Well, listen, I have to tell you first of all I love be h pet gear. You offer such a wide variety of products in some really important products as well. Let's talk about I how you got started. How did the company begin the companies need the background of the company was originally and children's ware, and they saw a need on the crossover between two human products and some products for dogs, and they knew that they could create some affordable products that were on trends with what was going on in the human as well as the market and they wanted to bring some trendy items to customers at a price that everybody could afford. Yeah. And I love that because they are affordable. But they're really nice. And I love the variety. And the fact that you're always changing, let's tell our listeners about some of your products. What types do you offer because I know it's a wide range. Okay. Well, we have a couple of things going on. We probably what we're best known for is our Casey. Tom coat. I learned love that. I love that. Yeah. It's a great product had fantastic results for it comes in three color. It's a greeting anti-anxiety wrath on a side note, I rescue as well. And I've seen it in action with some of our rescue dogs to really bring down their stress level. So it's a really fun product. You know, I have to say I don't mean to interrupt. But when I hosted a pet show pep talk on news, twelve for a long time there, I we did we had a common coat version on and at first I was skeptical because I thought that what is is really work. But, you know, something it really works. So I applaud you for that. Because it really helps. I don't know the animal feel more comfortable, I think is an obviously that's what you're finding. Right. They feel swaddled almost like being hugged. And that's where it takes down their anxiety love, so for listeners who think common coat, what's that you really need to try to especially dogs that have trouble with thunder and. Things like that and fireworks. So that's your com. Does that come in different sizes than Debbie? You are it goes ranging from extra small to extra large and comes in three colors. We started out with with gray. And then do the customer demands we went into a pin of blue. And then actually we expanded on that people were asking for a cat version. Comcast to yeah. So for cats as well terrific suffer from anxiety as well. And and really it's just so much better than giving medication. If that can work for your animals, certainly so your products dogs and cats. Yes, yes. And it's great for travel to I actually take my dawn, Jerry Lee on the subway every day, and he wears his auto boy. Well, then he needs it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. And then we'll also known we do a lot of footwear under the brand new have a line of boots called plus tack. We have a new version we have some with like a sock to fit very nice and tight you've leg. We have a couple of performance based boots. And then we also have a fun line called jelly rallies goes on very cute. Do make them an extra large from my Inoki. Or are the sizes? They tend to go more we do large size, and I'm able to get a large on my bulldog. So that might work for you. So the. Very functional as well as cute because I know many pups have issues with their paws being outside and such. Yeah. Absolutely. A lot of people. Always the first thing you think of is the wind harsh winters and the fall in the pause, but they're actually really good even going into the summer for the hot pavement. Okay. Yeah. I can't think very warm. Definitely, you know, you don't realize how that concrete can really heat up and that can really burn your pets clause. So that's a very good point. Yeah. Definitely and even hiking, you know, as it gets nicer people want to be outdoors, and sometimes you get the birds. They kind of go between the pets Paul has. And when that it's great to give an extra level of protection there too. Absolutely. And your sizes vary as you said, and I I liked that your items are easy to wear. Yes. Yeah. We made it very easy to put on and off the pets. Very quickly. Nothing too elaborate, not a lot of straps or things like that things that are very easy to get on and off your pet and less stress for them in you. That's important. Yes. We also do. A says as well. I love this summer. Yeah. A lot of stories on you know, like water safety for pets. And that is really important to have that available. So you have a full line of that as well. Yeah. Yeah. We it comes in two colors adjustable. It has a nice handle at the top. And it's also designed so the pet won't rollover and water. So they're getting stress go stay up rate. And I'm sure as you know, there's some breeds people don't realize that are not natural swimmers who agreed to have that protection as well. So I'm so glad you have that. Because that's safety. If your dog goes over in a boat. They are really heavy. So you wanna be able to pull them up if God forbid that happens? But yeah. So that's terrific. You also have a biscuits vegan biscuits, and that's important. A lot of animals have digestive issues. Yeah. We are killers organic line. It's fantastic. This is very simple. I think there's probably about five ingredients taps in each product. They're all. All human greed ingredients the USDA certified organic, and we also got certification with the non GMO project, and she means that they're not only certifies non GMO, but it's an extra level of care. We went into to make sure we sit there practices, and I think there's only twenty six companies out there that has achieved that so we're very proud of that too. And you should be because that's very important. You really have to check out where treats come from. So this would be a wonderful option. And they're right. Yeah. You have different flavors as well. Yeah. We have blueberry coconut peanut butter, which is a perennial favorite. Yeah. Banana meal on a piece of fusion. So we have a levers that's all taken Vermont. Yeah. So they're made in the USA. That's even better. Yeah. Exactly. The meeting in Vermont human greed, I can attest that I've tasted them myself. Try one javale. Yeah. But there and again, I love that your products really run run the gamut, and they are affordable products. And they are wonderful products, Debbie where can folks find you at B H pet gear where are you on Facebook Twitter weren't Facebook or uninstall grand one Twitter, you can find that you want to see the products yourself in going amazoNcom, probably the quickest way to find us. Do you have a website or just through Amazon? We do actually we have Joey Willie's dot com. My common co dot com killings, organics dot com and dot com. Fantastic, really wonderful products..

And you have school, and I am so glad to be here. And I was watching the soundbite. And I thought this is the thing that the world cares leased about of all things seventy might care about. Nobody cares about the first lady's overseas trip. She is I don't want to be mean. But she just said. Ridiculous. First lady come on. Here's she is a lovely woman. But she's going through the motions she's faking it. I know they told me this. So you're not you're reading the first lady's mind, it's obvious. Of course, it is. It is well, it's antic- conservative president's wife. So it must be. Oh, no, no. I don't mean. She's evil. She's just irrelevant. Cares. I am Malania. You know, how many people stop cyberbullying because I tell them to nobody cyber bullies anymore 'cause my program. So successful people made fun of Nancy Reagan for just say, no. But I talked to kids who grew up in that area. And it scared the hell out him for a while. I don't think it worked in the long run. But I think it worked for a few people in the short run. So there was an effective thing. Ladybird Johnson pick up the damn litter. Michelle Obama, eat healthy food. You're fat punks. But cyberbullying either be best. All right. I'm done if I'm not picking on her because she's a Republican pick on her because he's a fish out of water. You know what I mean? Good to be in the role. But then again, does it matter. No, do we need a first lady whose crusading for this or that or the other. Now, we don't she doesn't have to follow the models of the others. And she doesn't have to do it. If she if her husband or a democrat and her husband was a bully on on the internet such as our current president is and she came out against cyberbullying. Oh, she'd be praised going against her own husband. What a noble woman, everyone would say what? They don't teach. I understand what a woman of her own, right? Being able to do anything. True. Oh, yes. Because the contrast would be ridiculous. Just as it is. Now, there's always way to swing it both ways. Whatever works the argument, a democrat wouldn't have a wife who would directly contradict have been going around the country saying that well, of course, because they would never do that. Because he got you gotta drink them up. But she's she's just doing it. I don't even know why she's doing it. I wonder if she knows what he's doing it. She's an attractive woman with an accent. So she must be stupid. The water. Hello. I'm the first lady I'm traveling on around and talking about these critical issues. It's a remarkable woman, which is a Republican forget it. It's bet she's not talking about remarkable issues. He's just spitting out a few sentences that somebody handed her and going on to the next place. I am no other first lady ever spit. Less fashionable because I'm in a poor country country. My husband would call a blank hall county yet. I come here. I do though this I give her credit possibly for being devilishly fiendish. He calls him blank whole countries. That's where she goes to visit. He's a cyber bully. She speaks today. How about the remarkable won't might like to just torture him for fun. Like they made a deal. She's got to stay through either one or two terms depending on all of these in and she can't leave till then, but but she gets to do whatever she wants while. She's there maybe that's the way it's not a bad gig. Although I think our houses smaller than it used to be. Yeah. I think you're right. Okay. Well, we have an election coming up. Yes. We do. I did predict that weeks ago. I think he'll acknowledge although we really don't know until election. Hillary would win the well I did predict that as well. And I was very excited. I although we were both right because she got three million more votes. It's just a stupid outdated electoral college system screwed us. That's right because it was helpful to Republicans know, otherwise, it would be one of the most brilliant wrong helpful because this nutbag got in. And also, the the whole notion that if you don't get the most votes, but you can still win is just stupid. I mean, literally where else in the world is that true. Is that true anywhere? I know there's other countries where the the prime minister can can suddenly say, well, let's election. Right. But it's still whoever gets the most votes though, when my good right now. Let's throw agree. That's crazy. But still if they get the most votes they win. Where are we going? We're going somewhere we were talking about the election. Yes. I predicted this time of reach will come true. That's a great thing about predictions. You have a fifty fifty chance most of the time. And sometimes even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Bob. Casey, Tom Wolfe? Crews individually. Yeah. Not a problem. Yeah. Thoughts in the polling on that? You have numbers Terry. Madonna Madonna from Franken Marshall. Madonna the godfather of political now faces. His most recent polling. I it's been pretty consistent with Malmberg and another pulse. Casey's up by seventeen and wolves up by eighteen Ed. Ed, unless I in fact, I would take the scandal vol scandals with ironclad proof of a scandal. For those numbers to swell to switch enough in one month, which is hard to believe Tony month. Wait this point. For that.
