"Okay yes. My therapist is right next door on wellness row. And you ask their offices filled with crystals and Maccarone and there's a bowl of Palo Santo that sits on the table right in front of me but for me. Therapy is a basic need. As as I said earlier I fought with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. Sometimes it's debilitating other times. It's not these conditions reduced use life expectancy by about ten. To twenty five years. There are a lot of factors at play. They're not just the potential for suicide. We treat ourselves poorly and were treated poorly poorly by the medical establishment because of our diagnoses talk. Therapy is one of the few treatments that proven to reduce mortality and improve quality of life. We don't really do lobotomies or a steady diet of quotes these days for a reason. So I invested in therapy. I go religiously one might say. Therapy is a wellness practice. Yes for some people. They can get the same benefits that tuned in mindfulness that keeps one active and engaged in their own well-being from other wellness on this practices. Do I think they'd work for me. I don't know am I going to try to keep an open mind and explore it. Yup I wish with all my heart that crystals could say to me. Hey It seems like you haven't been sleeping or are you remembering to eat. I would spend every last dime on them if that were the case. Believe me because Dan is right eight they are very pretty next time on on the dream and the irony is that it started with an effort by the FDA to have more control over the dietary supplement industry to try to have some standards. That's what the products could or couldn't contain what levels and it backfired to the point that by the end of this in one thousand nine hundred four there was great deregulation of the industry to the point that it was less regulated than it had been before the FDA started its efforts. And, and those are the stories I give my students you, you can act with your wallet and that's a really powerful tool. And we forget that each of us is individuals. When we start acting with our wallets, we can have an enormous impact, and we can change the world jobs torn. You're talking you're talking bills. Just focus on the good. Oh, all right. Most of them are you'll be right. Ninety nine percent of the time. How often do I really need to wash my hands as often as you can? Okay. The five second rule. Is there any truth to it? I honestly don't know some on the floor. Well, something's vote on the floor. Do you pick it up? Eat it. I don't. But that's just me. Okay. Why not based on science personal preference? Do antibiotics work on viral infections? No does Inc effect bacteria, or viruses, or is taking zinc, tablet, a homeopathic myth. You know, I don't know the data UN's Inc. So I'm not going to answer because you know what if you don't know the data, you ought to just not have that opinion. Oh, no. We this podcast. We're just lousy with opinions. No, that's nobody knows. But they sell a lot of it. So maybe the who knows okay. What is your if you have one, what is your favorite bacterium? We've also lifted the business side of the sports industrial complex. They're making a lot of revenues, but not much of that is going into the athletes. The reality is they are management, and we are labor. Yeah. I think it'll lead to our franchise. Doubling this week we wrap up our sports series with a look at the Lieber side of the equation.
