"We got it for you. Heat is distrct subjects. Cazenove is living in my house. Dear stephen shirley. I'm fifty five year. Old mother still raising a twenty four year old man and he's still living in my house. All of my family calls him cast over. because he's very handsome with a head full of black curls. He's never been full of himself but he's well aware of how good he looks. He's never been in a relationship and when he was in high school girls used to call my house so much. I had to restrict call. Sometimes my mother lived with us until she died and she spoiled him beyond belief when he was growing up. She made up. This bed cooked whatever he asked for did his laundry and gave him all of her money. After she passed my son started messing with older women and they take care of him now. I blame myself for allowing this to happen. But i had no idea he would turn out like this recently. He got himself into something. That is good looks couldn't fix. He got caught with a married woman and her husband came to my house. And buster's the windows out of my son's car and mind. I didn't even call the cop. I made my son pay for the damage and told him that he's got to move out of my house by his twenty fifth birthday. He has seven months to figure it out his lack of respect for women. And for me. Stresses me out continuously. I just talked with him about having sex in my house and last week i saw a grown woman in my house clocking from my son's room to the bathroom one morning. I'm afraid he's going to get himself in another situation and there will be more than glass being broken. How can i stop him from being womanizer. Please advise well. I think you trying to stop them from being a womanizer is at this point loss. 'cause because that's what he is right now and he's cool with it. He likes who he is. I mean what what you can do though is make it difficult for him to be a casanova as you and your family call. Call him by putting him out of your house and if he refuses to to abide by your rules while he's in your home he's gotta go. Those are the rules. Those are the rules Plain and simple then he won't have anywhere to bring these women think about that and they won't be walking around your house. Okay so move the data you told him by his twenty fifth birthday. That's seven months away. Move that data. You can do that telling you changed your mind. You don't owe him anything and he's putting you and your home in jeopardy with these women he's dealing with so i know you love your son and all that i know you love him. This doesn't mean you're cutting him out of your life just means you have to protect yourself and what's yours at this point because mrs mr kassar nova is doing that. It's called tough love mom and he needs a large dose of it right now. He knows that whatever he does..

"Two was getting out of Venice coming up Casanova and Father Bobby Flee Venice now back to the story escaped prisoners Giacomo Casanovas and father bobby docked at the port of stray in Venice mid morning on November. First Seventeen fifty six shortly after bobby disappeared as the morning turned afternoon. Casanovas searched everywhere for his partner in crime. He toyed with the idea of leaving bobby behind but he couldn't abandon the old priest. Whose own devices. If bobby was captured the inquisitors would know. Cazenove wasn't far behind. He eventually found Father Bobby relaxing. In a coffeehouse drinking hot chocolate and flirting with the waitress. Cazenove was livid. He dropped a few coins on the table. Grab Bobby by the arm and dragged him out into the streets. There was no time to properly chide him. They needed to keep moving just as they were about to. Hop into a carriage cazenove heard a voice calling out to him. You there Seniora. Cazenove turned around to find a familiar. Face Babo Tomasi an informant for the tribunal of the inquisitors according to Casanovas own memoir. They acquainted but it's unclear. How cazenove newsroom. Cazenove was surprised to see Tha Mossy standing there and even more surprised when Tomasi asked him point blank. How did you manage your escape from prison? Word had clear they travelled fast but Casanova pleaded cool. He said to Mossy was mistaken. He had been freed from prison. It was obvious that Tomasi did not believe in the port of mastery was crawling with police have Tomasi wanted cazenove arrested. All he had to do was yell for the nearest officer. Now informants for the inquisition. We're not necessarily loyal to the Venetian government. They were however loyal to their pocket. Books being an informant has always been a lucrative field. According to the FBI's confidential human source policy guide special agents in charge can pay each of their offices. Informants one hundred thousand dollars per year in Casanovas time the figures were similarly impressive informants like Balbo. Tomasi took their work seriously because they were paid handsomely for it. Casanovas didn't give Tomasi a chance to do his job. He grabbed Tomasi by the collar and raised his fist. In the air fully prepared to strike him to Mossy didn't put up a fight he ran away disappearing into the crowd. Cazenove cursed his fool of a companion had nearly cost him his freedom. Bobby had been helpful in the initial escape but now on the run he was turning into a liability casanovas resolved. It was time to ditch. The priest. Cazenove explained their delicate position. Where now being searched for everywhere and our descriptions have been circulated so accurately that we should be arrested at any in that. We dare enter together. But bobby refused to part ways. He reminded cazenove that they were in this together and that they had agreed to never separate. Despite the fact that Bobby had very recently done just that cazenove tried a different tactic. He picked up a shovel off the ground and waved at at Bobby Shouting. I am going to bury.

"The inquisition had issued a warrant for him dead or alive. He begged Maria for help. He needed money to get out of town and he promised he would pay her back. The first chance God Maria agreed and lent him some more money but cazenove did not leave town like a moth to a flame. He went to the casino if he was hoping to double marinas money. The plan didn't work. He gambled late into the night and by the next morning he had lost it all a few days later on July. Twenty sixth Seventeen Fifty. Five cazenove was at home sleeping. There was a knock on the door. In the doorway stood and official of the state inquisitors tribunal he barged in and snooped around the apartment though. It didn't take long for him to find what he was looking for. Illegal books the official ordered Casanovas to get dressed and come within from there he was taken to the doges palace. The headquarters of the state inquisitors. The inquisitors made their rulings in secret trials. Without any oversight from any other government agencies. Sometimes prisoners were arrested convicted and sentenced without any trial whatsoever. This was the fate of Giacomo Casanova on September twelfth. Seventeen fifty five. He was sentenced without trial to five years imprisonment in the leads. He never learned the exact charges against him. But the tribunal cited his public outrages against the holy religion. The leads was a prison on the top floor of the doges palace. Name the lead plates covering the roof. Once a man walked into the leads. It was likely he wouldn't walk out for a very long time. If ever cazenove was determined to not suffer that fate as far as he knew no one had ever escaped from the leads prison but he was determined to be the first on a warm night in August. Seventeen fifty six cazenove lay on the floor of his prison cell in Doges Palace. He worked by lamplight. His body was covered in sweat in his hand was a small metal bolt. He had found on the floor months ago. He'd spent the past few weeks digging scratching at the marble floor as hard as he possibly could. He had been locked away and doges palace for over a year now. His whole was some ten inches deep. There was only one marble panel left to go before he could make his escape. Casanovas knew that his best chance to make his escape was in a few days on August. Twenty Eighth Saint Augustine's Day the entire Venetian Great Council. Met Together that day so the state inquisitors chamber directly below his prison cell would be empty and the path to freedom free and clear but just as he was finalizing the details fortune through cazenove another complication. Lorenzo. The gaoler as Lorenzo's footsteps drew closer. Casanova blew out. His candle tossed the metal bolt in the hole and dragged his pallet on top of the whole. He dove under the covers just as Lorenzo arrived. He brought devastating news. Casanova was being moved to a new cell in a different part of the prison. All the work he done had been for nothing and when his whole was discovered he'd be in even deeper trouble than he already was cazenove later wrote. I wished I were also being followed by the fine hole. I had made with such effort and which I had to abandon but it was impossible. My Body move on but my soul remained behind Casanovas. New Salle was at least in upgrade. It had a window with a panoramic view of Venice in the high ceilings. Made it possible for him to comfortably stand upright but it was cold comfort a few days later Lorenzo. The gaoler found the hole in the floor of his old self. He demanded Casanova Turnover. Whatever piece of contraband had used to scratch through the MARBLE CAST? Inova was caught red handed but he played the fool. He replied that he had no earthly idea. What Lorenzo was talking about. Lorenzo ordered a subordinate to strip cazenove down and search him. The guard patted him down searched his palette his chair even his chamber pot in the end they couldn't find a thing. But the truth was self evident. One way or another cazenove had made the hole in the inquisitors would get to the bottom of it. Still Kazunobo refused to confess. Not only that. He issued a threat. If Lorenzo ratted him out to the inquisitors he would tell them that. Lorenzo had given him the bolt to make the whole in the first place. Lorenzo raged in anger. But there was little he could do. During the inquisition. Citizens could be locked up without any evidence of their crimes. Even a jailer. One accusation away from ending up on the other side of the bars as soon as Lorenzo and the guards were gone. Casanovas pulled out the small metal bolt. He had expertly concealed in his armchair in early September. Life finally started to improve for cazenove. The Renzo was no longer angry with him but he was a little boy because cazenove kept demanding more books to read perhaps out of pity or perhaps just to make him shut up Lorenzo obliged him he would let cazenove trade books with another prisoner. Awesomeness can monk named father. Marin bobby who occupied the cell just above Casanovas. Cazenove WAS DELIGHTED. Not only because he adored books but because he could now send secret coded messages to his fellow prisoner. Casanovas sharpened his fingernail to a fine point and fashioned INC from black mulberry juice to test the waters. He wrote a random innocuous message buried deep in the pages of one of his books the next time they swapped books cazenove found that Father Bobby had written him a reply through their correspondence. Cazenove eventually learned that one of his admirers had offered Lorenzo money to help casanovas escape. It's unclear how Father Bobby learned this information but cazenove was thrilled. According to Bobby Lorenzo had misgivings about betraying the inquisitors so he refused to actively help but if cazenove tried to escape on his own the Renzo would probably let it happen. Pretend he'd been involved and take the he'd been offered cazenove quickly began planning his escape grateful for the information. He asked Father Bobby if he wanted to secure his own freedom to and if he was prepared to risk everything to gain it bobby replied in the affirmative in cazenove hastened his work on digging a new hole through the floor of his new sow. After about a month he was finally done in late. September all he had to do was get the metal ball to bobby so he could dig through his own cell Lou on September twenty ninth seventeen fifty six in honor of the Feast of Saint Michael. Casanova asked for permission to cook a batch of buttered Gnocchi. He wanted to show his appreciation to for all his hard work as a jailer. And he wanted to thank dear friend. Father Bauby for lending him his books. The gift wouldn't be complete unless he could make it with his own hands. Lorenzo wasn't willing to let cazenove venture to the kitchen but he agreed to cooperate. He cooked pasta then brought the SAUCEPAN and some ingredients to Casanovas cell so he could make the seasoning himself standing at the door of his cell. Casanovas stirred the butter into the SAUCEPAN in poor. The Piping Hot Gnocchi into bowls filling them up to the brim. He asked Lorenzo to take a bowl to father. Bobby right away. Lorenzo complained that the ball was too hot to carry. Casanova offered a quick solution. He would set the ball on top of a large leather bound. Bible to protect his hands from the heat. As Lorenzo took the Bible in his hands he didn't notice Casanovas. `expert Magic Trick. Magic and espionage might seem like two unrelated arts but they have a rich history of intersection. The CIA's manual of trickery and deception says for the Magician. The perfectly executed illusion is the ultimate goal for the spy. Allusion is only a means to divert attention from a clandestine. Act in the nineteen fifties. The CIA commissioned magician. John Mulholland to create a report on how stage magic techniques could be used for covert intelligence operations one of the tactics. He explored his the age. Old Magician secret sleight of hand the key to successful sleight of hand is to misdirect the observers attention away from the covert action while stage. Magicians might misdirect the audience with colorful scarves or flowing sequined capes spies have to use casual natural gestures. That won't raise the suspicion of even the most well trained surveillance operative mulholland instructed the CIA agents that the flaming of a match rising in one hand to light a target cigarette would mask the discreet drop of a pill from the other hand. Cazenove used the same trick on the Renzo as he placed the delicious steaming bowl of Nokia. On top of the Bible with one hand he carefully slipped his small metal bolt underneath a bowl with the other. The Renzo thought he was just taking father. Bobby a bowl of pasta but he was actually handing him the tool. He needed to escape. The plan went off a month later on October. Thirty first seventeen fifty. Six cazenove picked this particular night because it was a holiday. Lorenzo would be drunk. Most of the inquisitors would be out in the country enjoying their time off that night. Casanova in bobby climbed through the holes. They had dug. They snuck through the doges palace and made their way to the final barrier the roof. Casanova used metal bolt to bash through the panels until the moonlight shone through because of the holiday. No one was around here using a rope. Made out of cloth Napkins and bedsheets cazenove and father. Bobby climbed out onto the sloped roof. Some two hundred feet in the air from there. They crawled on their hands and knees across the palace roof and climbed down into the window of a neighboring flat inside the flat. Casanovas in bobby ran through a maze of dark corridors and stairs hoping to find a way down into the street but as the sun began to rise all the twists and turns only led them to a sturdy locked door. Casanova tried to pick the lock to no avail. Retreat wasn't an option is too risky to retrace their steps. They might run into guard. Who'd been sent to pursue them? Cazenove decided it was time for a disguise. John Mendez a retired officer with more than twenty five years of experience. Explains that what we do with. Disguises is always additive. We can make you taller. We can make you heavier. We can make you older. The goal she says is always to blend in Casanova however went the opposite direction. He removed a small bag of his own clothes from his vest. White stockings. Fine shirt trimmed with lace and Swanky Cappello hat with a plume. Who would suspect a well dressed? Nobleman of being an escaped convict after changing into his expert skies. Casanovas said about fixing the problem at the locked door he ran to a nearby window flung it open and called a small crowd of people on the street for help. Fortune smiled on cazenove. Once again someone sent for an attendant who had a key to the door. As casson over listened to the footsteps approaching he peered through a crack in the door inside the man up. He was alone set of keys jingled in his hand. His fellow looked unsuspicious but if he tried to stop them. Casanovas still had his medal bolt in his hand. If it was sharp enough to cut through the marble floor it had to be sharp enough to cut through a man as the door swung open. The man didn't say a word he just stared at cazenove and father Bobby split-second Casanova wondered if the man recognized him but he didn't wait around to find out the answer. The two men barreled through the doorway. Casanova knocked the man to the ground unconscious. They fled down a flight of stairs towards the streets below. They ran past the statue of Neptune through the PORTA Della. Carta across the Piazza until they reached the canal bobby and cazenove hopped on the first Gondola. They could find as the boats snaked. Its way through the canal. Cazenove took a moment to consider his circumstances. He took a good look at his companion panting and covered in sweat. They look like a pair of charlatans but at least they were free but the grasp of the inquisition reached far beyond the walls of the prison. Getting out of the leads was just step one step.

"Casanovas journey into the clandestine service of the Venetian inquisition. Like many of Casanovas stories begins with a woman. In this case a non cazenove had every reason to be suspicious of the mysterious letter he received from the non in November. Seventeen fifty three in the seventeen fifty the council of ten which State Security and intelligence in the Republic of Venice employed and extensive network of spies to root out possible plots of treason or other security threats. These crimes were prosecuted by a secretive tribunal of three judges called the state inquisitors. According to Dr Iona I are Donayre a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University the Venetian inquisition was one of the world's earliest centrally organized. State Intelligence Services in the sixteenth century the Venetian government made use of the Bouquet de Leon stone boxes shaped like lions mouths where citizens could drop accusations and complaints about their neighbors almost overnight. The boxes were flooded with so many anonymous tips that the government didn't have time to sort through them. Similar systems were utilized during the fifteenth century. Where citizens could anonymously report their neighbors for failing to meet public health standards during the second pandemic of the black plague many of the laws the inquisition enforced were religious in nature blasphemy magic witchcraft and impure behavior. Were punishable offenses. But in truth the inquisitors were less concerned with maintaining a pious society and more concerned with maintaining power their primary purpose was to keep the oligarchy of Venice. In place and Giacomo cazenove had committed the biggest crime of all crossing social boundaries..

"Mark Peters and Glenn's hometown of Hamilton there was this elderly man named Mark Peters who Glenn had actually lived with at ten different addresses over fourteen years after his mother no longer let Glenn Live with her and Glenn. Dan was living with mark in September nineteen ninety-three and a month later mark went missing all of a sudden and he was seven seventy only one year old electrician and he was a veteran he was the you know he would just let Glenn and and you know help them get back on his feet again and and he would ask Glenn maybe to do some light errands in exchange for the room and board right and mark actually had family and he had a daughter who lived in the Hamilton area as well so when when he turned up missing in late October his daughter reported it to the police and she said that her father mark had a collection of coins antiques and some guns all of which were missing in the police searched but found no trace of mark so it was really perplexing and the Hamilton what's in please wanted to speak with Glen about mark's disappearance Glenn had already left for Los Angeles and they were unable to immediately locate him and mark's car was also missing fast forward to the end of nineteen ninety three to January of Nineteen ninety-four police searching for mark eventually searched the cabin owned by one of Glenn's family members and found a skeleton bound to a chair under a pile of furniture due to the state of the remains officials officials were able to ascertain the cause of death but it was clearly no accident and they were able to identify the skeleton as belonging to seventy one year old mark computers the police suspected Glenn but he was long gone but his absence initially prior to him being implicated in Mark's death was not atypical Glen would leave Hamilton for weeks months or even years at a time but he was always returned home eventually so it wasn't off for him to pick up and disappear and travel with carnivals and do the things he was known to do so but you know after mark's body was found there was a federal warrant issue. I was also included in the flurry of media coverage about Glen his crimes and the manhunt was an interview with his mother that appeared in the Cincinnati Inquirer. Edna Rogers urged her son to turn himself in and also the police not to hurt him. She told the enquirer quote. They have no proof of his guilt. He just happened to be in the area where the killings took place. I think they have a patsy. Let's see and they're going with it. She also said my son was the most caring child of all my children she also the pleased that she spoke with Glen on the phone two weeks prior and he denied killing family friend Mark Peters and all of the women an told the police that he had a typical childhood but he dropped out of school in the ninth grade because of reading difficulty but she did say that he had a rash that developed after falling into a toxic puddle and she said quote. You know how kids get into things. Let's basically the joker right. They're falling into a toxic right. Yes that must be. It's it's such an odd thing for mom to be like my son is innocent exceeded normal childhood how ever yeah he put all that is so you know your. Nana's wasn't anything I did certainly not yeah can't be anything that the mom dead now but now's a good time as any to talk about Glenn's Mommy the issues and we talked about this in episode one but here's the whole pitcher so Glenn was of quote Hamill Tuck in stock and this is a very disparaging reference. It's to the backwoods culture of APPALACHIA. He was one of seven children born to Edna and Claude Rogers is dad worked at a paper mill for sixteen years. There's he drank every day was alcoholic and he often beat ad and beat the seven kids and he wants threatened to kill his wife if she left him during one of the beat beatings. He broke her nose and knocked her out. She was completely unconscious right off the bat. We have a lot of physical abuse that he's witnessing yeah. They were poverty stricken. We mentioned this episode in part one but he you know when his dad lost his job. The seven of them mm seven of the siblings plus. The two parents had moved into a two bedroom home with one bathroom so it's kind of it's it's not conducive to a lot of space and health and boundaries foundries and all those sorts of things the parents of Glenn the father specifically kept several guns in the home and he was fired from the paper mill for drinking on the job and after he lost his job they had to move into the worst part of town. When you moved about parts of town obviously you're exposed to more crime and bad influences high risk behavior things like that. The seven kids were tormented by the neighborhood children and the father encouraged them to fight back to defend themselves which encouraged courage sort of like this violent reaction to such things in glen apparently ain't paint chips in dirt so the Patriots were potentially Um and he was a bad water until he was twelve years old. There's no shame that everyone but it is considered in the triad colours though Cher and he also apparently banged his head purposefully over and over on the edge of his bed and he would concussed himself and become unconscious and by the way when he was doing this apparently he was showing he wasn't crying and he was showing no signs of distress at all yeah. It's not good if I see my kid doing that. I'm going to be like I'm out new mom so Glenn's older brother clay introducing the drugs and alcohol at the age of twelve as well. He was also beaten by his parents aren't more frequently than the other siblings because he was a little bit more rebellious and win. Glenn was sixteen. His father became disabled from a heart attack and I have to say in the last this episode. I said it was a stroke. If you look at the reporting they report on both it was a stroke was a heart attack. He was incapacitated by illness so I can't confirm which one it was but either way it's like you're seeing a lot of things were if you have maybe the the ability to be pushed into like the socio apathy horrible direction. These variables aren't aren't helping helping out no poverty no supervision violence abuse abuse he also you know there's all sorts of things that were happening so by the way a lot of this information that we're talking about with. Glenn's childhood comes it from a documentary called my brother the serial killer that's kind of from clay's perspective perspective of his life with Glenn how that all happened and an interesting thing that I saw on the documentary it was talking about when Glenn One was born so before Glenn was born. The MOM and the dad had five children six six children. They didn't want any more kids so she wanted to get her tubes tied so so they had to get a judge to approve of her getting her tubes ties was in Ohio when he was born in one thousand nine hundred eighty seven yeah.

"Glenn in the police ruin guns trail from in Florida because Glenn had actually rented his hotel room under his real name. The police knew who they were looking for but they had no idea where he was going or what he would do next. I and if you're thinking Andy Sutton had lucked out by not being hurt by Glenn. You are right but unfortunately he went back. He wins. Louisiana a man eighty at an I spend the night with her. Then which is Florida Mattino Mattino killed her then came back to Jackson spent the night in apartment. What's dad mother then left there and went back to Louisiana where he killed eighty so driving. Tina cribs Ford Festiva Glenn headed back to Louisiana to link back up with Andy Sutton when he got there. He greeted her and told her that he had a surprise for her. He'd gotten her a car because Andy didn't have one but this sounds familiar. It's exactly athlete. Glenn did with Linda Price who loved bombing her after days of knowing her without even knowing her and it's even more twisted in this case because the car that he had brought back for Andy Belong to the woman that he'd killed days before in Tampa Tina crabs so so fucking and we are. We've seen this before are and actually we've seen this also in in fictional stuff to where a guy kills somebody takes their jewelry and then gives it to usually it's jewelry you. You know you very rarely that's at a car but this is this is super twisted because not only did he use this as his escape escape vehicle all and then he used it as a lower of with the love bomb and saying. I got you a car well because I think he saw how effectively think he actually bought what I think happened. He couldn't give Sandra's car to Linda because he set her on fire took a greyhound bus and I think he needed a car he. He said it was four Linda. Ah The effect it had on her so then he was like if I give a woman a car I kind of get whatever I want so he then use the same method fit on on Andy but had this car in like we had said previously when he had first met Andy. He left his red truck at her apartment urban complex so as to explain why he was coming back with this white car. It's again a eighteen wheeler yeah. Why would he just show but the new car. It's the gift for you. You don't have a car so he's like killing two birds with one stone making an excuse worms off and also and also winning over exactly so andy obviously actually had no idea but she was over the moon rightfully so and she glenn her roommate. Teresa decided to go out bar hopping together within a few hours. Glenn was glassy eyed and wasted. Is it again and Andy told Theresa that she was going to take Glen back their place to quote unquote sleep it off so theresa went to work and and Indian Glenn went back to their place to sleep it off. I guess after this Bar Craw. Theresa got back to their apartment at around three A. M. Glenn Red Truck. The pickup was still parked in the complex as parking lot and she walks into the apartment. The lights are all on but it didn't seem like anyone was home. So theresa sat on the couch and she ended up just passing out till the morning. She wakes up the next morning and she's looking around the apartment. She goes inside the bedroom and calls out. Andy and then she pulls the betting off the bed and what she finds horrifies. Her under the covers was the battered and bloodied body of her roommate. Andy and there was so much blood around the chest area that that and there was also a pillow covering her entire head and I couldn't tell for sure if it was andy or not she pulled the pillow off and she saw what she described as and this is a quote the most horrible agonizing facial features that she ever seen Andy's arm was back behind under head and there were also cut marks on her right wrist. There were stab wounds to Andy's abdomen upper body back shoulders torso antes mattresses waterbed and the mattress had multiple punctures and was leaking everywhere so indies cause of death was determined to be multiple stab wounds and some of which for more than six inches deep in total andy had fourteen stab wounds including numerous defensive wounds on her fingers and rest one of which penetrated penetrated down to her muscle. The murder weapon had been removed from a butcherblock knife set from there. Catch it. What terrified Theresa further other was that Glenn had killed Andy Wall Theresa had been sleeping on the couch and denso quietly so that means that she got home to insane chain saw that all the lights were on their door was shut? They shared a room and she passed it on the couch and she knows this. She knows it hadn't happened because when she woke up per person has gone Glenn had robbed the place in taking her purse wow so sh- he could have killed her while she's sleeping on the couch easily and but what he probably why he didn't is probably because he didn't think Theresa was home so when he came out he was probably shit. I I should probably just take what I can bounce bail as opposed to like risk Kerr yelling a neighbor hearing whatever but he very easily could have the Glenn of terror was now national news and Glenn was added to the FBI's ten. Most wanted list in the whole country was on edge especially every family member of his victims and terrified women across the country. We're left to wonder is Glen Rogers coming to my state next because nobody knew where he was and he'd she killed people in Multiple States California then to Mississippi then to Tampa dealing with this really yeah. You'RE NOT GENO serial killer. That's like in my t exactly it could strike anywhere anytime very bundy s yes and this man who possessed the power. ERTA charmers victims on a whim could be anywhere and arrest warrants were issued for him in Florida Mississippi and California and particularly terrifying an interesting interesting part of Glens crimes is he was leaving marks. He was using his real name wherever he went and he wanted people to know it was him he was trying to make a name for himself and they believe Hughes enjoying the killing and the fear that he was instilling across the entire country and he's like a mixture of like it's similar to what bt K. was doing. It's like he was enjoying it. He was enjoying notoriety. Ted Bundy was sort of transient in that he was popping around to avoid getting caught and then just the charming of the women it is very he was winning them over starting relationships in then would do that and then just disappear undoing the going through the idea of doing the love bombing with this car and saying I'm giving you a car and everything like that just to get them in a vulnerable situation and then killing them. I gotTa say though Jack. How many times have you been girl and I'm saying this because I have where it's like. A very handsome man walks into a bar and you're like Oh shit that guy is so my typo yeah and then you were so excited when he your his type two and you hit it off and you have another drink together and you do this whirlwind thing thing I mean that's how all my relationships have actually started me too and that when we're reading through this it is such a normal type of wait a meeting a guy and it you know the friends leave and then you're just left together and you don't ever think that you're being put in a very scary or dangerous situation not only that too. It's like for example. Andy first of all had a roommate. You know what I mean like. Glenn wasn't like I'm going to pick a woman alone. It's like I have a roommate who will come home if there was ever anything wrong. I have someone looking out for me same thing Sandra in Los Angeles she actually left to Glens friends and Glen Yeah they. He took a separate car. They were supposed to follow each other and it's like you leave with a bunch of friends. You don't you're not alone. It just seems he was an expert expert. Just making people feel safe and comfortable comfortable so as more info about Glen emerged it was revealed that he was also wanted for murder of his former roommate who was a family friend named.

"Glenn Rogers swooped into Linda Prices Life at the Mississippi State Fair and within three weeks he not only completely ruined her life but he stole it as well leaving her daughter crystal and the rest of her family shattered and left to pick up the pieces. The thing is Linda wasn't the first beautiful redhead he seduced and murdered in cold blood nor would she be the last on our last US episode. We left off at the point where the police officers in Mississippi Handling Linda's case had connected with police department. Other jurisdictions were investigating vicious. She's homicides that it's similar ammos to that of Linda's and each woman had last been seen with the cazenove killer the cross country killer the man known as Glen Rogers Linda Prices Family is left in the throes of this nightmare of losing Linda Glenis missing and there's a nationwide manhunt in hunt underway to locate him in every day that Glenn remained free safety of women across the country was at risk. We still have crystal with us today to help. Take us through the remainder of her experience. Not only was it fear from only find now that there's other victims and you know it's hard for these. He's families and empathize with these families. They're going through the same thing we're going through their living a hail like we're going room and fear of Hammy more niche films. Are they're gonNA be are. They going to catch him. They ever catch him. Where's he at it. Was it was a nightmare. It was truly a nightmare as police searched for him. They started a piece together. His movements prior to his arrival in Mississippi so although Glenn was from Hamilton Ohio he was a drifter type and often often traveled and worked traveling carnivals around the country he was a carney and in one thousand nine hundred five he was living in Los Angeles California more specifically he was living in the valley and had an apartment on Woodman Avenue and it's no surprise that as violent tendencies followed him there. Glenn beat various girlfriends he'd been involved with breath and he'd been arrested for attacking two men in Hollywood with a knife which landed him a stint in jail and although those men survived the attack at Glen Lynn would start killing women by the summer of Nineteen Ninety five glens reign of terror began on September twenty ninth nineteen ninety-five around six thirty a m a nurse at the Laura would convalescent hospital which is located on Victoria Boulevard in. La pulled up to the hospital drove car into the parking lot behind the building in the corner of the lot. She could see a pickup truck with. Colorado plates parked near some trash cans and it was by itself. There's no other cars around the driver's side door was slightly ajar and she could see an arm and elbow in part of collegue of a man who is leaning into the truck towards the passenger side as if he was reaching for something from across the vehicle the man she saw pad shaggy shoulder-length Sandy hair and was wearing jeans and a short sleeve shirt so the nurse got out of her car car and when she looked back at the truck she noticed that there was smoke billowing up from underneath the hood of the car but the blonde man was still fiddling around inside and she was sketched out understandably she ran inside and told her colleagues when a group of them came out to see what was going on in the truck the truck was completely the engulfed in flames so when firefighters arrived on the scene they discovered a body in the cab of the pickup and the smell of gasoline permeated aided the scene as well in the lower extremities of the female body inside the truck were charred down to the bone but interestingly the floor of of the carpet underneath the body was mainly intact indicating that gasoline had been poured over the body and surrounding areas of the passenger compartment as opposed to the fire air coming from the actual explosion from the engine of the car so they could tell at this point it was looking like Ersan and when the LAPD homicide detectives arrive they examined the vehicle and there discovered a ladies handbag and it contained documents and photos as well as a marriage certificate found in the pickups APPs locked metal compartment in the back of the pickup the name on the documents belong to thirty three year old Sandra Gallagher and she was a redhead. The forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy on Sandra's body described her as quote severely charred down to the muscle she had bruising or bleeding on the right and left stern avoid muscles a hemorrhage on the right side of the lower part of her voice box and on the left side of her voice box bruising to the thyroid gland broken cartilage on the left side of the throat and multiple hemorrhages inside her talk and they said he Sandra had died from being strangled to death and she had also been in sexually assaulted so once the detectives had her name they were able to quickly track down Sandra's husband and Sandra was a Santa Monica native so this was was in van is oh this was in the valley and she was from Santa Monica so it wasn't that hard to track down her sort of next of kin when they spoke to him. They learned that the last time he had spoken to his wife was the night before she called him and said that she was at a bar called MC reds in Van Nuys in that she she intended to stay there for a few more hours she was singing. Karaoke with some new friends that she had made and basically after he had received this call from her they hung up he expected her home later but she never came and when they go to Grad they speak to bartenders and employees there who helped them paint a picture of the previous evening. Sandra had been in the bar the night before for many hours made friends with some of the employees and the regulars there who learned that she recently won twelve hundred dollars in the state lottery and she was out celebrating rightfully so she was driving the Ford F one fifty pickup truck with Colorado license plates that was she was found in because she recently got the car from her father who just died who had lived in Colorado and on the night she came in. She was wearing a pair of distinctive hoop earrings. She had had gone to McBride's in the early afternoon. Started playing pool glen came in and around seven o'clock pm he had recently become a new regular showing up to the bar two or three times a week during the latter part of September of nineteen ninety five so they talked to a particular female bartender and she described Glenn as being persistent he was always asking for her number was pushy about it and if the first time she said no Glenn showed up in the grads during each of her shifts for the next three weeks seeks constantly repeatedly asking for her phone number he would buy her roses and pull out roles of hundred dollar bills and by her by drinks for her and everyone at the bar and tipper big she said Glen had been with Sandra the night before and he was wearing cowboy boots blue jeans and Brown leather belt with one of those fancy cowboy style belt buckles is bleach blonde hair was long and it was feathered and he had had a neatly trimmed beard and Mustache so paint that in your head he approached Sandra who quote brushed him off and she continued to play a pool but Glenn as he was was persistent and Sandra eventually warm to him and they started talking and Glenn and was there with a few friends eventually they all left including Sandra. She was never seen again until she was found on fire behind the hospital and the Savak Kathak reds new Glenn's name now so did the lapd they located his address and arrived at his apartment on October fifth nineteen ninety-five four days after Sandra's murders so this is the nineties. It's ninety five. It's not as instance I mean. I feel like if this had happened. Now you could be at a suspect's house the same day a or the next day with warrants and such it took four days which is pretty fast. I think considering kind of the nuances of all of this so police this believed that Glenn had killed Sandra and they wanted to arrest him but as we know he was long gone on a Greyhound bus on his way to Jackson Mississippi sippy or he'd meet Linda Price at the Mississippi State Fair three days later so we know that Glenn Killed Linda the night.

"In may seventeen fifty seven Giacomo Girolamo casanovas arrived in Dunkirk, France, with a top secret directive look into the French naval fleet and determine if they're really as battle ready as the king claims they are for a man as charming and deceptive is Casanova. It was no difficult task. He wrote it took me. No more than three days. Not only to pick up an acquaintance of all the navy captains but to become good friends with them. He did this by regaling the sailors with stories from his time serving in the navy of the Venetian Republic. This was a lie. Casanovas had never served in the Venetian navy. But it made him someone the sailors could relate to. They were so enraptured by his stories. They didn't notice. He was speaking, complete nonsense. The navy captains willingly gave him tours of each of their ships and answered all of casanovas detailed questions each night. He wrote down everything he had learned after two weeks. He left Dunkirk confident that debate I ne- would be satisfied with his efforts in deed, he was for his two week mission to Dunkirk casanovas, paid handsomely, twelve thousand francs nearly fifty thousand dollars in today's currency Cazenove had done, the French government, a great service and he'd made a pretty penny in return. Eighteenth seventeen fifty eight it was a resounding success drawing in a net profit of six hundred thousand francs from ticket sales worth over two million dollars today in Cazenove, who was responsible for distributing the tickets received a sizable cut of it Casanova used his newfound wealth to enjoy. The only question was, how could he get back in the good graces of the? Venetian. Inquisitors. Ten years after his lottery struck. Gold for France in the fall of seventeen sixty eight casanovas found himself in Spain still longing for Venice. He was older now in his mid forties. But he was dealing with the same problem that had plagued him since he was a young man his weakness for beautiful women. This time has I fell on Nina bare bones. Accords in inner twenties Cazenove, I met Nina outside a bullfighting arena in Saragossa Spain, there were plenty of red flags that might have cautioned casanovas stay away from her primarily that she was the kept woman of a powerful man in Spain and Broszio food as Davao Pondo the count of Rick, LA and captain, general of Catalonia, but casanovas couldn't resist complementing Nina she responded by play. Turn of events that led him to work as an informant for the inquisition. Casanovas journey into the clandestine service of the Venetian inquisition. Like many of casanovas stories begins with a woman in this case, a nun casanovas had every reason to be suspicious of the mysterious letter he received from the none in November seventeen fifty three in the seventeen fifties. The council of ten which oversaw state security and intelligence in the Republic of Venice, employed, an extensive network of spies to root out possible, plots of treason or other security, threats, these crimes were prosecuted by secretive tribunal of three judges called the state inquisitors, according to Dr I ONA, I are Donahue, a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes university. The Venetian inquisition was one of the world's earliest centrally organized. State intelligence services in the sixteenth century, the Venetian government made use of the bouquet de Leon stone boxes shaped like lions mouths where citizens could drop accusations and complaints about their neighbors almost overnight. The boxes were flooded with so many anonymous tips that the government didn't have time to sort through them. Similar systems were utilized during the fifteenth century, where citizens could anonymously report their neighbors for failing to meet public health standards during the second pandemic of the black plague. Many of the laws, the inquisition enforced were religious in nature, blasphemy magic, witchcraft and impure behavior were punishable offenses. But in truth, the inquisitors were less concerned with maintaining a pious society and more concerned with maintaining power. Their primary purpose was to keep.
