"So really, all you're losing out on is the difference between n, i l money and the two-way deal with the upside of making your start of your career, just way easier off, right? So, I mean maybe she gets a guaranteed deal and I'm just like, off on this, but I would be surprised if that happened right. Would be surprised, maybe he knows more than we do. Maybe his feedback was different that we have and he will look good. One, when there's group workouts and he can actually play and get up and down five-on-five. He's never going to like look the part staying, especially athletically, but he's he's a gamer, too. He's a super job. Out there near your plane and you're making reads, kind of as you go and on the Fly. He's the guy that I would want my team. Well, folks, we, we are at 10:00 eastern time. Where are you right now with the world? Is Matt Pennock for a question. I'm in Brisbane, I'm in, I'm in not Atlanta, we, we advertise Atlanta. I'm in Cartersville Georgia, which is about an hour outside of Atlanta. Sure. Who is, who is from Cartersville this year, what draft prospect? Oh gosh, that's, I don't know. But you know what, one of the high schools that we rent from is where Trevor Lawrence played. That's a good that's a good tidbit, but who's actually off Cartersville can't remember? There might be a Prospect Park yourself. So you're in the east coast. Chinese you think. So, let's two hours, I guess he still has not announced what he's doing, I guess how Johnny like, you know, I work tomorrow yet, 8 a.m. games had starting. We can't as much as the loyal handful of people that would stay on for us to talk about nonsense, a wait for the announcement. I don't think we're going to make it during this Thursday. Recording. Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen either. I mean the last couple of guys here are I mean Marcus car. I mean Marcus car. It seems like it's going to transfer somewhere else which is probably the right month of talking r c is going to transfer, probably the right move, I guess like a chance future. Yeah most of these things going to transfer. You can skin Jalen Wilson and by Chicago is for them, we didn't talk about Kansas. Yeah, let's try. It bhaji in jail and Wilson getting those guys back was big. I kind of figured that they would get both of those guys back. I'm not a huge fan of either of them. In terms of the draft, right now, both of them do very different things. Well, like Jalen's going to have to shoot it and then OSHA is going to like really needs a high-level Defender, like not just like in a solid one, like he is..

"100% 2nd of all. Last week we had that bridge collapsed and then this week we got the high rise. I hope it's just coincidence, but Something sounds kind of kind of fishing. Where was that? Where is the bitch bridge collapse? How did I miss that? Wisconsin? Was it a bridge collapse and was kind Debra, you're you're from Wisconsin. I don't remember seeing that story. That either. Yeah, I'll check on that. So someone just sent me a link on Twitter that there were from the USA today that apparently, this building had been sinking. Millimeters a year, which is pretty significant. You know, millimeters are it's not a big measurement Longoria. But if the building sinking millimeters that's that's kind of important, but unfortunately, I have to subscribe the USA today to read the article. Which there was a pedestrian bridge that collapsed in D. C that then I remember. Okay. Alright, not Wisconsin. Jerry's in flowery Branch, Georgia. What's going on? Jerry? Hey, Mark, How are you? Excellent. Good kid. I want to tell you a really quick sinkhole story, but I'm from South Florida as of about three years ago. I've spoken to a couple of times before, but I've been by that building quite a few times. Down in on Collins, and it was probably across the street from the ocean. So those people up in the high rise could see the ocean. But it probably wasn't right on the ocean was right across the street from the ocean. Got you got you But, yeah, that's all stand there. It's all polenta, Peninsula and stand and everything but Bunch of years ago, We were out looking for a house and the real estate guy gave us some addresses, and we parked the car. We went through this little forest. When we got into the Cleary to find the the back of this housing unit. It was supposed to be on a lake. The sinkhole opened up and sucked out all the water out of the lake. What and all the houses There must have been 50 houses on this lake and all their dogs were like 50 ft in the air. Oh, my goodness. No. No water at all. That's that's amazing. So my aunt, if you're from South Korea, nor Aventura is Jerry Sure. So my aunt Uncle lived down there and they've got a beautiful apartment overlooking the ocean and not on the ocean. But you know, within walking distance, and I love going there and just looking out in the beautiful views, but I? I don't know. I don't know if I could do that. I might have to scratch that off The possibility list and one of my retirement plans was I'm never gonna be able to form a for the beach house like ports or Hannity or Erickson. But I always thought, you know, I can get a little condo. At Destin. In one of those those high rises on the beach like that's always been, like all get a little two bedroom condo for me and my and the dog. I don't know the biggest word for me. It's always been hurricanes. Never thought about the building collapsing. Dave in Cartersville, Dave, Welcome to the show, buddy. Hey, thank you. You know a status it is. The collapse of the building would not attorney from Liberate a high, right However, your point about having to us to the restroom. They wouldn't get home. I kid you not. I said that to my I said, you know, this is a great apartment, but how many days a week, Probably two or three days a week. When I get off the show. I don't even come into the kitchen or living room and and kiss her. Hello. I'm just like I'll be right back and I race up the stairs and you don't live far. No, no, but five minutes ago, but to be fair, I asked the the real estate person I was like, Is there a lobby bathroom? She goes. Oh, yeah, There's a bathroom in the lobby. So if you're in a hurry, hurry, hurry. Maybe I could just I don't have to go out 28 floors in the elevator. I can slide and do my bears and then go up and say hello to the fam. Alright, we're going to come back. Christianity got news, weather and traffic. We are awaiting a live press conference on the breaking news in South Florida..

Here's where this comes in with the weird name thing and a disappointing day because her name was Michael, But she was Russian. It was Mikael, right? And I had literally like $14 to my name. So I took a $10 bill because she was feeding me Miller Lites. I'm underage hard. Admit that. Yeah, well, so I took the $10 Bill and I wrote the room number from the hill in on it. And then I went back to the Hilton and I drink some other beers, and I passed out on the bed. And then I woke up the next day. We were leaving town that day. And my friend Danny, like slipped up the bedspread. And he's like, Oh, now both. Oh, no. Oh, no. Look at this, And he shows me a foreign napkins that says I came here but you were sleeping like a baby and signed Michael now. Yeah, Yeah. SP and all over social media in the last week or so ago herd immunity letter at their we're having a cold being out and having people that aren't necessarily high risk thing at hand we are back in fashion when people are allowed to be background are we only have we are we going to need more elements that decide this particular one are we getting more right and that would make this all guys doctors just a vicious circle round and round I don't think that we can really say specifically what's gonna happen when people start going back to school and and going back to work hopefully we will still have some period of time where were sort of in between they're still gonna be some degree of social distancing so some of those albums are not likely to happen Charles is in Cartersville on W. go tell it you tell family Hey Clint Eastwood made a movie about me wanna go check out yeah she goes through that little bit of time Richard what's on your mind yeah what I wanted to point out is the if you look on YouTube and and go to a spring break twenty twenty it's going on man I mean it's Pensacola Jacksonville fort Lauderdale Miami they're just getting their party on and they're worried about no coronavirus kids from all over the country going down their party and and then they're going to go back home and spread it all out that's that is the worry because the younger folks may not even feel like they've come down with anything or you know if it's the traditional spring break that that next day hang over that they think they're suffering from maybe it's corona virus that's bringing him down for a day and then they hydrate and they go back out a couple days later they find just just drink too much one night I don't know Richard I think it's interesting because the younger folks are not being affected and they know it and I think they're not as afraid about it as some of our seniors right it's not slowing down at all and when they go back home he might be taken away the name might be Richard thanks a lot for a being out there we appreciate your call I think we also have another open Mike who wanted to talk a little bit about some of the stimulus stuff that the president was talking about today and how that may or may not affect the way you're going to do with your taxes I'm curious about this this check that they want to send everybody for a thousand dollars at the end of the year and twenty twenty one do we have to do it to pay taxes on that inclement and also if they do over the payroll tax for certain certain period of time at the end of the year when we do our taxes in twenty twenty one do it is there going to be a problem the we have to pay of of like a lump sum all the sudden here's to pieces with that obviously the first thing they're talking about anybody who earns less than a million dollars if you're an employee in American files taxes that you would get a thousand dollars or so check would you have to count that as income the short answer is more than likely yes it is a a supplement to what you would have maybe already gotten but if you have lost your job or if you've lost income there's so many people and how do you decide you know it's the fair thing is you treat everybody the same give everybody that thousand dollars but the next thing would be you know if if you do that you know there's people that are in the commission area there are people in the service industry people that are waiting tables they're the ones I probably could use more than a thousand dollars where people that are still salaried people that are in the positions that they are in their considered maybe this is essential for their job essential for whatever they're doing they've already been collecting their paycheck they probably don't need it but how do you differentiate and you know are you gonna be upset if your neighbor Bob who's got the salary job doesn't get the check but because you're an entrepreneur and you've been you're working at your home and you've traditionally made more money than Bob but now all of a sudden you took the hit more the thousand dollars are certainly gonna be good for you so I I don't know you know where that's going to end up falling when it when it all gets argued and decided and in Congress ultimately it does put money in people's pockets if they start to get get in trouble here in the next few weeks losing their jobs the flip side you talking about if they do the the moratorium on payroll taxes and some other things like that I don't know that you can then be turned around and held responsible if they don't take the money out I don't know if you're gonna get stuck with some lump sum bill I would hope that our legislators would sort of look at this as a pause as we're not going to count it because either you know if if they're trying to make sure that you take home a little bit more of your own money you would hope that the reason for that is to be able to give you the ability to handle the bills and some other things are coming your way into the economy recovers it would I think it would be in poor taste if they left it in such a way that said by the way the fact that we gave you three months without having to pay those bills now are you owe them that would be really bad I said this earlier with a Christian if you were listening as he began coverage at eight o'clock eastern through till the eleven o'clock hour I said when I got in there for just a few minutes I would be more interested to see if you could get maybe the mortgage industry to say we're gonna put a pause on paying mortgages were it not to say that you can't you won't have to pay them you know but if you're let's say you've got thirty more payments left or a hundred more payments left whatever your mortgage term is we're gonna pause it for maybe two periods yet two months were let's let this kind of right out and they just shove your your your payment schedule to where you'll still have two more don't accrue interest almost pretend like everything's frozen you know how we can freeze our credit I'd love if the mortgage industry did that I wish the utility industry we consider that would be good to just say okay we're not gonna charge you for this month's light heat air we're gonna absorbs that for our fellow Americans are maybe based on your income level you know whatever the same formula they're using maybe that would be another thing that they could talk about this a little more creative because it's nice if you get a thousand dollar check but if you could put your house payment off for a couple of months to kind of just get your feet underneath you again if you could put your electric bill if you could put your or you know the utilities I think that would be a something to look at as well and that puts more of the onus on the private sector than it would on taxpayers because ultimately whatever this stimulus is we're paying for it it's seven hundred eighty five billion dollars coming out of taxpayer funds one way or the other so I hope that's a quick answer to your question there I I can't say that I know for a fact because we haven't seen the legislation all right eight hundred nine seven two eight two five five that's one eight hundred nine seven two eight two five five if you want to be part of the program this evening we are talking two things simultaneously cove it or a covert nineteen of the corona virus as well as tonight's primary one thing I want to throw out there for people to think about that we heard about our spring breakers and people going out there and still join in joining maybe getting out there and doing things and maybe they shouldn't be in such a crowded place there's nothing wrong with still going outside there's nothing wrong especially if you're healthy you don't suffer from any underlying health conditions going for a hike taking the dog for a walk maybe you in the K. and your significant other you know maybe just having some time to walk and talk in your own subdivision as long as you're not surrounded by a mass of people you know you're still getting fresh air you're still getting out there you know disinfecting clean the house you know it's spring we always talk about spring cleaning this time of year we've had some really nice days open the windows air out the house you know if you've got you know counters and surfaces that have been may be infected by guests and visitors you know if you clean those off open the doors open the windows for period of time maybe let you know see if you can't let that help you already let mother nature help you as it often does at the end of cold and flu season if you're out and about if you feel like you are going to patronize a restaurant or if you're used to patronizing a restaurant I mentioned a lot of folks like to call it a taco Tuesday or they go out for maybe a trivia Wednesday or whatever the day of the week they may have a gathering with friends that that business is is relying on you to show up well right now we're being encouraged not to go to restaurants not to go to pubs maybe that place has a the ability to buy a gift card or buy a gift certificate maybe you can call them up and say Hey can I give you my credit card number I'd like to buy a gift certificate I can pick it up later or maybe I can you mail it to me or what whatever you work out so you can have limited exposure maybe it's just Hey I want to come by and just pick it up I want to have it ready for me at the front so I can come and grab it and go and I'll use it another day things like that that if you've got the means and you are and you are healthy you are feeling like you want to keep these businesses the flow because a lot of mom and pop businesses out there that will require your local dollars your local economy keep in mind the server I have eldest daughter who makes a really good living waiting tables and as serving as a bartender and she has said in the last four days her tips have gone to almost nothing and if you've ever worked in the service industry especially in waiting tables the lion share of their income comes from tips it's not from a salary you know it's what two dollars and twelve cents is the minimum wage that they have to pay for server if you are getting tips so if you are still going out there maybe you're a traditional fifteen percent temper keep in mind that surgery may be losing a lot of money if you're argh if you are going out if you are be a patronizing a restaurant or but a local business maybe tip a.
