"Week by shaved Johnson who covers not only Las Vegas City Hall but also the Clark County Commission of the two though Las Vegas City Hall is the one in the news as Las Vegas Mayor. Carolyn Goodman went on multiple media outlets she was on. Msnbc's he was on Fox News. Really the apex of her appearances came on CNN. An interview with Anderson Cooper that has literally gone viral everywhere with epic picture of Anderson Cooper putting his hands over his eyes as he really can't believe what he's hearing in a very unique interview in the sense that it was very lengthy usually television interview segments like that last for maybe five minutes six minutes but this one lasted for more than twenty minutes. It was It was quite something you wrote about this for For the Review Journal lie in in Thursday's edition Tell us a little bit about You know what was said in the end. The fallout that you You saw here sherm. Yeah and you know in to that point about the length out. I did get a chance to speak with the mayor for about ten minutes yesterday late afternoon. She also noted that she talked about twenty five minutes and that's typically reserved for presidential candidates. But what we saw yesterday on Anderson. Cooper I think it was really kind of the peak of Goodman's commentary on on what she thinks. These happen in Las Vegas. Now she's been saying this and been calling for businesses to open and to reopen immediately Sense Governor Celek enacted this non essential business closure and even before then. She was talking about how it would be devastating if he were to enact it so her position on this hasn't changed and it's not new clearly not new to anyone here locally who sort of follows these things but I think what happened yesterday and why back got so much. Attention IS TWO FRONTS. One on a national level. We finally saw people outside of Nevada. Got a chance to hear the mayor of Las Vegas talk about winnings reopened businesses which has been controversial here locally but then I think the second part of that is just how much she ratcheted up that stance and some of the controversial thing she said about that things that we haven't heard before And just GONNA example of some of the more controversial things were The fact that she talked about You know businesses that were would open up if they would Have outbreaks of Corona virus than competition will take care of them may be forced to shut down basically like free market type of philosophy she also said into decay deter on Tuesday then yesterday at Anderson Cooper. She talked about Meet up it's up to the businesses figure out social distancing guidelines that it's not the job of elected officials to improve testing and contact tracing that. That's not something that she's concerned with. And also that she may have contracted the krona virus herself back in January. And so I think those things in some are really what caught the attention of people even though the General Fossa. Fear the general Stance as she was putting forward is not something that was necessarily new. No I mean it was the for all those reasons that you just mentioned it was a an astounding interview in some sense There was a line in there in which she said that She had offered Las Vegas to be a sort of Control Group of what would happen. If you reopen the The businesses here Before the you know the governor's ready to lift the emergency orders that he's put in place Things like that When you talk to her. I'm curious about this. Did she have any sense of how that interview had been received because the there were some people will talk about this a minute? They're worse than people supported her but the overwhelming reaction to this was negative in critical. Did she have any sense in your in your mind when you talked where the that this had been received poorly by the majority of people or was she You know kind of a beaten and proud of it. Li- like you said you know. She got twenty minutes which is a really long time. Share I she. She certainly wasn't upbeat. But you know and I got a sense from her. That she was a little may be exhausted That could have been just making the media rounds. She has been or also. I think you know She very clearly understood the reach of this. She talked to me about having so many phone calls that she can handle You know all the calls that she was getting. We only talk for about ten minutes. And she don't want to go into anything specific that she said and and her word specifically were talking about wanting to let this sort of subtle. Like we'll get back to you know early next week so I I do think that she got a sense that there was a lot of attention but I did ask her. I wanted to find out. I think one of the things about maybe five eight minutes on the phone with her. I wanted to know. How does she think it went to question really? I wanted to know. What were you trying to get across wide? You think it was important to amplify this message you know and then secondly how do you think it went? Obviously why she thought it was important. She sees herself as a cheerleader. A self-described Schumer for the city. And she thought it was necessary that she brings attention to the plight of all these workers who don't have jobs right now in the. Oh she's talks about bringing them back to work things like a but then secondly shoot she wouldn't. She didn't really answer the question about how she thinks it went. What she did say was that she realizes that there was support and there was hate in those were her words port and she's getting hate and she's getting. Hey yeah well I mean. Let's let's let's give her the best of it right. Let's just say okay. She sees her job like Oscar Goodman before her to be the chief cheerleader for Las Vegas and obviously in this situation a Yuan Las Vegas to be back open back booming people coming here having conventions and and being healthy but also I think you know the small businesses because there's a lot of small businesses that have been deemed non-essential by the governor. And I know some of the owners of these small businesses who are incredibly frustrated who want to reopen. They have employees who've had to be laid off or go on unemployment. They're trying to get emergency loans and and special government loans to keep their businesses afloat and I think when the mayor spoke yesterday. Some of those people in that situation You know looking at their own business interests in their own employees and people. They're responsible for some of those people cheer they. They were like. Yeah right on. We need to get back open as soon as humanly possible to do it. And we'll do whatever we can in terms of social distancing or cleanliness and hygiene standards to to make sure that we minimize the chances of getting this disease and and she kinda spoke for them and there were some people that I noticed on twitter and elsewhere who supported what she was saying. It wasn't one hundred percent negative. I'd say Bob. May maybe about ninety percent but there was still that ten percent right. Those people were like yes. She's speaking for me. And and and let's let's get this thing open because right now looking at the governor and he's saying we gotta phased in approach but we're not even gonNA start the vase until we've got these Fourteen Day benchmarks and God knows when that will be and I if I'm a business owner or restaurant or somebody like that. I'm incredibly frustrated by that and I look at the mayor's comments and I said right on. Yeah sure I mean I think you know. At the end of the day. People are frustrated and when the when governor when the governor is unable to provide any hard timeline of when things are going to reopen that just exacerbates that frustration. So now they feel as if this is going to be an endless battle you know. When do we get to go back to work? I think even a lot of the folks who are on board with social distancing requirements and maybe supported initial closures are starting to get frustrated about the fact that we don't know exactly when this is going to reopen that there's you know that we're not even in phase zero. I believe and correct me if I'm wrong on that you know. We are in phase zero but Nothing's going to happen to a phase one and and so you know it. Phase Zero were just all sitting at all right so she speaks to the people who she speaks to that frustration. And I think one thing that's important to note is whether you want businesses reopen now mmediately or you don't. There is a common thread among both sides. Which is one businesses open as soon as possible. The difference is You know the governor Three of the council members we saw a majority of the county commission or many of the county commissioners. They want things to reopen. When health officials say it is safe to do so whereas Goodman and and others who have sided with her one things to open now regardless of whatever the consequences may be. Yeah Yeah and that I think is really the crux of it because look I. Don't think anybody in the state who who wants to remain closed. I mean I think everybody wants to reopen. The governor wants to reopen the city council. The County Commission. Everybody wants to reopen those business. Owners are chomping at the bit to get reopened and start putting people back to work and making money in the casino. Certainly WanNA reopen and start entertaining people again. The question is how in. What risks do we take? And how do we mitigate those risks and I think what struck a lot of people about the mayor's position was that she was kind of? It was almost a callous indifference to whether or not people were going to get this. Because certainly I think you can agree or disagree as to what opens in what phase. But I think I think most people would agree that if you open now in the manner the mayor outlined there would be almost certainly would be a spike in corona virus cases. The virus would be transmitted to a larger number of people than would otherwise get it and that risk in the minds of people like the governor is just too much and in the minds of the people like the mayor. I it's not too much and so it it's what you're willing to risk and And she's willing to risk a lot more than than governor. Steve says like all the other people who condemned her comments Saying that she wanted to use Las Vegas as a as guinea pigs That you know I. It's this idea of acceptable losses For for for a return to commerce that I think a lot of people find that to be a kind of a callous calculation that she making sure in in in her in her thinking and so. I think that's I think that contrast between the two positions was really a top of mind in behind a lot of the reaction we saw wearing out on social media and even the instant reaction of people like Katie tour. Who said that's the modern day. Survival of the fittest. That you're laying out there. Anderson Cooper who was almost speechless at certain times during that during the interview. So what do you think sure? No I think you know I recall so last council meeting that. They had last week when she talked about the number of deaths. And I think this kind of speaks to that very clearly. When she talks about the number of people who have died in the state of Nevada from Krona virus she end sort of temper that by noting the percentages and our percentage was pretty far off but she said it was less than half of one percent of people who died. So she said you know. We're very disheartened. And we feel terribly about these tragic deaths but also on on the second follow up to that is it's less than half of one percent and so I think what it comes down to when you talk about her wanting to orbit Willing to risk things how serious. She takes the virus and from three clear from the comments that she's made it really from from the beginning is that she equates the virus to any other virus that.

"It is the biggest take sharpen Shapiro glad you can join us on a Thursday yeah by the way we're taking your phone calls now I know a lot of people have been waiting very patiently on hold and now we have an opportunity where we'll be able to take some phone calls and again that number seven oh two two five seven five three nine six if you wanna be part of the conversation real quick here obviously we're talking about mayor Carolyn Goodman's interview on CNN which I thought was a complete and utter disaster I think most people agree with me any getting around and we just had on seven best there's a reason why this thing went viral selects response dina Titus is response Jimmy Kimmel's celebrities all the response we want to know what you think what do you think about Kerley given to think she did herself any favors in that interview with Anderson Cooper we'll take your phone calls again two five seven five three nine six let's go to Michelle Michelle your first up on the Vegas take what's going on it was only going to make so please hear me out but I am a very conservative Republican never voted for Democrat my life not that she is a Republican but I'm I can't believe what she said yeah I'm cool business but this is pro life and the way I see it is she had no way to pass a symptomatic people coming and technical group of hotels the fact that she is a cancer survivor elderly you don't think those front line workers have pre existing conditions and south of the horse to survivors and have high definition and a diabetic great what made it might need to find work part time at a grocery store here and one of his teammates tested positive because of it I got a doctor's note for thirty days to to I haven't been out of work and three weeks later department contacted them and said they were going to turn him if he didn't come back to work so you're going to have people who are going to be getting returned and we're gonna benefit really they have pre existing health conditions I never read that one thing that pointed out that I thought that in theory aided me and that you guys have not touched upon during the interview yeah he asked if she felt like her building was quick and she has the wall quite the lobbies close yes thing right B. getting in your lobby exactly you know that that is such Michelle I'm so glad you brought that up that is such a good point she did say that in the interview and and and Anderson you know ask her about that and kind of set up this murky with us we're gonna face because he knew what you knew you know that she was talking about how clean our offices to get her own lobby isn't even opened up yet what does that tell you Michelle I want to ask you one more question if I may and by the way you bring some fantastic points up and I could not agree with you more and I'm so sorry about that story you told about a about a someone you know who has that the cold but I'm sorry to hear that I want to ask you if you had a chance right now to speak with Carolyn Goodman what would you say to her but on her hand because those same workers even if you don't work on the strip I personally don't work on the threat there are people that live all throughout the valley but work on the script if everybody's neighborhood they're going to grocery shopping on their days off at your store that you're walking next year they're going to be going to restaurants we don't want to be the second new York and that's exactly what happened do you think he should resign have different cultures and name of the thinking and what that means for them and you can do when you're in the service industry is being considered rude by asking somebody to step aside I agree she should resign that yes or no do you think she should resign he should have resigned years ago I think that what you're doing right now he's showing great confidence I agree he had walked up the eighteenth adversity yeah we can't factor the fact that she wanted to get a placebo people that are working to get hurt the fact is that she really wanted the end of the day if possible yeah and you're gonna get a **** bow and then let it be that laboratory rats further I don't understand how in her mind and with complete computer very yeah and what he did well she acted like she actually did the opposite of what she intended to do yeah that's right your right to start it because we don't have that gather so you know you're right excellent call I appreciate you and you sound like an extremely smart Michelle and I'm sorry about your friend I do think that she did cost the city of Las Vegas probably yep a good a good deal of money last night just just because of how it was blown up publicly from from all the Aliso Justin and that by the way that's a question I wanna ask our listeners do you think she should resign seven oh two two five seven five three nine six let's go to Gerry Gerry you're next up on the big stick there was a very hello I want to talk to JD what's up JD I'm worried about your body my wife how do you go to lunch every day with bubble boy from the Seinfeld show and I'm worried about your health I really think that Brian Shapiro should resign and does do a sports show you guys the only thing is that you know more about sports than anything else JD that's all they have in common and you have to go to this guy's kitchen any complaint about youth on is your garbage on the floor or whatever instead of day in and day out you know like your your that I have a thought if we did the radio show if you're outside the feeling to be a lot alcohol in there are you got me all you want you're picking on me you have a long hearing I thank you J. D. J. D. I want you to raise your live on the radio and I'm not gonna I'm not gonna call you deplorable good deplorable Gary either I'm not gonna do that I'm also delighted Johnson hi there yeah I'm here I'm here right now we gotta get you to start I want you to start a new show called the J. D. J. D. shall the studio and I'm getting old I go to all this nonsense all right I want you to start a show called the drunken Gerry shell seven oh two two five seven actually were actually guys he does have a show idea very much hanging up in my office in the studio we wrote us a letter which may have been in over a month that's right rose the Kerry Johnson show yes that's another scary let's get back to the phone calls do you think mayor Carolyn Goodman should resign what did you think of the interview or maybe I'm just way off on this or maybe you think she did a really good job seven oh two two five seven five three nine six let's go to March March your next up in the big steak there was a March hi well I think that data for your birthday present the JD should have gotten you Mike holders begin what is city what happened my birthday present ma'am I didn't get anything from it it's come a brush up a little bit of stress that's all a lot of a lot of stress you realize that the funeral is at the the last three weeks we have been screaming at each other every single day I thought every day I go home after the show and I just pass out it can even take phone calls I can't even talk that was yelling because I can't hear myself in these minds these mikes right I that's right it is that bad I got my lan out Katie yeah I know Sir we just we supply of mileage or whether it's Steve Sisolak statement now we should all know only difference is that says like was actually crying JT wasn't crying yeah well RG think that do you think that the mayor should resign I think you should consider keeping her last term anyway it all and he's got nothing to lose when you think about it so she's she's going to be very forthright and thinking I thought yeah but but it was downright embarrassing now first of all Anderson Cooper did you give her a chance to complete any of of her thoughts he just kept on firing at her and I got a little bit annoyed at him to begin with but her are free of you to be a Petri dish is is Saturday and you know the call very instantly of come out against the totally so as the governor of the county commissioner everybody is against this idea and if you think that they're just cleaning will help how you know the situation of opening up Sir I'm sorry said that she's about on our show too she said member of March when she came on our show on Monday and she said she bragged about how clean the hotel rooms are and I tried doing really nice and it's a very difficult position for me because I have a relationship with Oscar Goodman yeah I didn't I didn't want to offend her or him quite frankly I don't want you right now either but I would have to be honest I shudder what do clean hotel rooms have to do with this virus it may have your real sense you don't watch I always it's always good to hear from you appreciate your phone call a great employees please stay safe March thank you seven oh two two five seven five three nine six mark your next up on the biggest take what's going on okay yes JD win selfish people go out are they just risking their own lives are they risking other people's lives too well the only defense mark I don't know what the actual fatality rate is for this virus I don't know when the virus got invited to Las Vegas I don't know what kind of that we would have the antibody test but under the circumstances under those under the circumstances they're risking everybody's lives mark but are they outsourcing they endorse yeah cat at least what it what he tried to say well you know remarks about Schaefer on Twitter right mailbox your your marching front to arrest here's what is lost in his little knobs he wanted he attacks on Twitter almost everyday the threat nearly I wars I looked at the creek cramped study from China and it says this this article to pre primed and has not been peer reviewed it reports new medical research that's yet to be evaluated in show so should not be used to guide clinical practice so when talking about that it's only indoor transmission and you're using a study from China I find it amusing given that every other time you're down on China because you don't trust them so yeah it's the same logic can be applied for Anderson Cooper using that that study from the Chinese restaurant seven oh two two five seven to.

"Everybody STC envy Angela yee Charlamagne the god that we are the breakfast club let's get into front page news with where we start we well let's start off in Las Vegas the mayor Carolyn Goodman yesterday was asking for the city's businesses to reopen but it didn't sound like she had a great plan after she said that she volunteered for Vegas to be the control group we have to open up but hasn't been because of this and saying that the numbers have been what they are how do you know until we have a control group we offer to be a control group that you're offering the real citizens of Las Vegas to be a control group to see if I were filled out several sisters now no absolutely wrong dump where I come out I offered to be a control group and I was told by our statistician you can't do that because people from all parts of southern Nevada I'm into work in the city and I said oh that's too bad I'm telling you double the doubles can't even hire who they are anymore like always a crisis doesn't create character it reveals that we know exactly who these devils are now low I have ever asked mistake if they over to Vegas that is a huge mistake Atlanta is wrong but I can't it's not up to her anyway let's be clear now she was asked about going to the casinos if she would risk her own life I know when you have a disease you have a placebo it gets the Waterton national park and then you get those that actually get the shot we would love to be that placebo sites you have something to measure against give casinos reopen are you gonna be inside this is seen as every single night putting your own life on the line what what is the purpose of that first of all I have the family good food we know that they wouldn't put their life on the line that's why we keep telling you already want you to die they want you to be to lab right they want you to be the Guinea pig okay she has admitted that this is all one big experiment you want to open up a few cities to to see what happens if they get back out there you know I mean I've heard a lot of people have conversations about herd immunity in people need to be around each other so they can you know tension in be immune to it it's all types of stupid theories going around but all they care about is the bottom line which is the economy money sacrifice they will sacrifice your life to figure out how to get this thing back going now without a bad speech without proper testing in place they don't care damn devil right in addition to that she talked about social distancing guidelines what would that look like if casinos we opened in Las Vegas let's see how well she thought this out I don't believe there should be any social distancing you don't believe that relieved there should be of course I'm not having it at an office you know that's up to them to figure out I'm I don't know when the casino I don't know anything I'm sorry you're the mayor of Las Vegas yeah you want because you know to be open even though you have no authority thank yeah we're just you know is but yeah you say open them up but you have no responsibility about how that would be done learning now your blood is on your job there I am not a private owner that's the competition in this country yeah but you're a leader and being that you're a leader you supposed to save people from themselves specially if people don't know any better if you give people the option to go to you god damn concealed somebody's full going overseas casinos because they don't know no better with things you know about it because you're the leader I supposed to know better you put the lead tomorrow what was that it I'm not ready to open so that's not going to happen that's what the governor of Nevada told Anderson Cooper last night FY I all right I manually and that is your front page news after officials give for people man they they they making dumb decisions about this world due to money and it'll kill a lot of lives and I just prayed to god I pray to god is that a family member that that you guys love that think it's okay to go out especially elderly people when I go to Vegas I go to Lennix city I go to people all I see is elderly people gambling and they will go out in flocks and they will get the corona virus they will die so they can't open it up and yeah I I agree with you but enough to lose a lot of lives if people just make the right choice you know what I'm saying like we know that these people are operating one big experiment and they want us to be the lab rats and we just have to make the proper choices because they open the nest of a bombing that you got to go and as I understand conversation about the economy economy it's just not going to turn back on could you press power you're a brand like like if you don't feel comfortable going out to spend money to talk about spend money so how that goes we could meet the got media kind of Eureka this is a crazy time bro all.

"Seven degrees in Las Vegas one news note to pass along to you a person has died in an intersection closed after a rollover crash that struck at least ten vehicles in the east valley the driver of the vehicle that caused the crash apparently died at the hospital this took place Near East say Hera and south land just before four o'clock that intersection is still closed one of the critics of the state home order put in place by Nevada governor Steve Sisolak and very vocal about it has been Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman she joined Alan stock this morning during the Vegas city program here on K. ex ante and here's their interview president says he can see it both ways he understands your positioning understands the governor's position he sympathize with both is not going to take a stand on either one but he definitely sees both sides of it yeah yeah if it is trying to be you know like a stand on the fence or do you think that the I mean there there's room first of all both sides I'm on both sides for heaven's sakes I'm a senior I have compromised health we certainly understand this I have lived through the polio epidemic I have lived through as their legion air's disease in Philly and west Nile sars bird flu we've never shut the country down so I know here in Nevada thank you to Bob Dole doll our historian in nineteen eighteen we did have an influenza in this state and I think we were about twenty thousand people were three million but my whole college isn't about what and how things are being done it's about this whole piece of our community that is a hospitality community and when you shut down the whole because this is an issue when you shot the whole down you put out probably at at a third of our population out of earning and therefore they become part of the problem ultimately because they can't make money to support their children to feed their children to pay their bills and that's my entire focus here's who we needed to were about to go backwards it doesn't matter it's going forwards and I've been assured by all in the city by the businesses they have plans in place they're they're not brain dead or with their heads in the sand they're anxious to do their part be part of the whole to get rid of his gorge that's an eating us up alive N. P. this city we wouldn't be the city we are having conventions and entertainment and great opportunities for a wonderful vacation if we hadn't already had everything in place to keep everybody healthy the issue is then yours and not moment we heard that February every city public the senior housing complex sure it's been in service via our examination as to how do we protect our seniors I agree with that you know I do a like you I remember the Salk and Sabin vaccine the sock was a shot in the Sabin was actually a church he we had to stand in line for that you remember that or not thank you god bless you for that I appreciate that I was very little boy when I said life and saving very little boy but I do remember all of that and yes we didn't distance ourselves as you said a couple quick questions according to comments and it's common sense but you do you think the reason that we've gone through this house because in years when you're raising children you know when you put your children for the first time either in a preschool or kindergarten if they don't come home with some germ within the first two weeks that is a miracle Americal and then it runs through your whole family because they're these little people that are developing immune systems and they get every germ and that was that was this when they were they were being told that it jump easily from human to human and there are a lot of different different ideas being put out and and and basically scare tactics I'm not sure that the scientists all move them among themselves what was going on and because of this somewhat disinformation not intentional necessary but necessarily but not because of all the different ideas and using information I was asked who is my primary source of accurate information and I did the same when everybody else is listening to this doctor Fauci and he has said that this particular virus of which there are a lot of dairy abilities will probably recur in the fall may last as long and as integer sambar and may come back every year so what I'm saying is and so we're just going to wait for the propitious time to go ahead and open up business we can't do that we will have of R. two point three million people that live down here that provides most of the income for the state to operate this safety that traffic all the things that we depend on and the public hospitals all of these dollars that we need for people to live and support their families what are we who who's Lucy came here it's gonna tell us ha definitively this is I I I I agree and I I do understand agree limb quick I've got real time some got to ask you this but the mayor Carolyn Goodman the the nonessential businesses they've been shut down I think personally we could've had this safe distance saying while they were open as well are you as good are you may probably concerned about a lot of these nonessential moms and pops that could experience the same social physical distance saying as is going to be required by the larger issue landing this is about competition from one to another but this is all about state laws county lost city log inspections on going all the time to make sure that we and in Las Vegas to the world are presenting and have shown that we are healthy and wonderful place to visit and the longer we wait to open back out the more difficult the opening is going to be these are not stupid people but that is their savings they put into the small businesses and they're looking how can they open how can they hire back all their staff and yet remain healthy for the community listen I got thirty seconds I'm gonna ask you this do you think do you think that the governor will allow Rick slower the opening by the first of the month I have no idea I have to ask the governor I know you're hopeful I got I I got that so much my gosh I've been hopeful today was shut down to find ways to.

"Mayor Carolyn Goodman joining us live coming up in our number two to talk a lot about a lot of things including her comments the insane comments in regards to everything being shut down in regards to the governor in regards to Donald trump's comments in the press conference yesterday mayor Carolyn Goodman was brought up by the president so we're gonna talk a little bit about that as well so that's gonna be coming up in our number to our number three we're gonna be hearing from a local Las Vegas who owns a business he's struggling why is he been unable to get help from the government so we'll be talking to him coming up in our number three as well maybe even get a little bit of sports in there but the first thing that I want to talk about the way Chris Wynn is joining us in studio and some gentleman I get a chance Monday so yes my dog hog some of my absolutely for for people out there apparently it's a common thread yes they did you actually say sports Bryant to hear that word right perhaps coming up in October three well the last thing I truly believe it will change anything I didn't watch it be Chris watched at the Michael Jordan I stand about JT sharp we actually have stuff going on this week when it comes to sports right you got the NFL draft ontap this Thursday and of course it just couple of the things that we're gonna talk about of course with the yeah but I want to talk and twelve minutes discussing the way during call of duty I'm happy yeah I don't think we're going to do that sorry sorry to disappoint you but here's something that I do want to talk about that I think is should be a very important to all Americans it certainly is important to me and I take offense to it because it could affect my health and my life and that is these protests that are going on throughout the country let me be very clear on it you can disagree with governor Sisolak you could disagree with this shut down you can disagree with anything you want this has nothing to do with the first amendment and it doesn't mean you have the right to put all of our lives at risk let me explain there's something called social distancing there's something called being a symptomatic and when you go out there it didn't didn't just happen in Las Vegas it happen everywhere but I'll just focus on Las Vegas to the morons who decided to go out there with your trump signs and not practice social distancing you are a reckless individual selfish and you don't care about the lives of other innocent Americans there are reasons why we have the social distancing laws in place right now the six feet roll and don't you tell me that these protesters were practicing that because the majority of them were not not to mention that throughout the country there was a Confederate flag seen in Wisconsin they were **** signs seen throughout the country don't tell me this was a political rallies because at every single one of these rallies you saw trump science and don't tell me the president the United States is not responsible for this because he partially is number one he said liberate liberate Michigan and several other states that happen to be run by democratic governors there here's what's so ironic and the stupidity of some of these people that are out there protesting putting our lives at risk they're protesting the president's guidelines they're protesting the administration's guidelines and yet you're you have a trump set up did you really feel stupid you are if you're one of those people that protesters over the weekend forget about cross country let's start right here in Las Vegas you are ignoramus you are a moron and I compare you to a drunk driver and people always ask me what's the comparison between that well when you decide to get in your car drunk you're not only risking your life you're risking the lives of everyone else you are playing Russian roulette with society you don't know if you have the virus or not if you're one of those people that has not been tested how do you know one hundred percent whether you have the virus inside if you're not the answers you don't reckless going out there and protest in in front of I think they said they were somewhere around along the lines of five hundred people that were protesting you are putting other people's lives at risk you are scum of the earth as far as I'm concerned you are some of the dumbest people in society when you decide to leave your home take your kids with you show off your stupid little gun and prance around with the trump signed like everything's just fine and here's another point I'd like to make do you think governor Sisolak is sitting in his home or sitting in his office anything comes up you know what even though I've been listening to all those health professionals I think I'm gonna change my mind you know what I think I'm just gonna change my mind and I'm gonna open up the strip because of those two or three hundred idiots out there that are protesting yeah you know what I think I'm just gonna change my mind if you think that's gonna happen you're the dumbest person I've ever met in my life if you actually think Steve Sisolak it's going to change his mind because of you idiots out there not practicing social distancing protesters this isn't about the first amendment so don't give me that crap that is about the first moment it's not yes the first amendment says you're allowed to pro protest not when you define law and there is a pandemic the first amendment does not apply to this so don't you give me that crap and don't you tell me it's not a trump rally and don't you tell me that Donald Trump isn't partially responsible he defended it the last several days and he defended it again yesterday I want to play you a little bit of the audio of somebody's protest particularly those from channel three that took place in Las Vegas on Saturday have a listen to this report then maybe you'll understand what I'm talking about despite the governor's state home order.

"Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman at Wednesday's city council meeting had a prepared statement that once again attacked the total shut down of the state and its businesses this shut down has become one of total insanity in my opinion for there is no backup of data as to why we are shot down from the start no plan in place how to move through the shop down or how even to come out of it also said experts you spoken with say the corona virus is not going away anytime soon and believe so was keeping our heads in the sand you can call for governor Sisolak to open the state health officials are moving toward opening several hundred temporary hospital beds within days they had only potential surge of coronavirus patients all of knowledge they may be preparing for a wave that never comes some critics argue that the public threat has been overblown governor Sisolak said late Tuesday he was no where near re opening parts of Nevada's idle the Tanami projections of when and how hard a surge may hit very widely one model suggests the P. already has passed another says it's weeks or months away as he gets ready to roll out guidelines aimed at reopening some of the states president trump is hearing words of caution in the rose garden late yesterday afternoon the president said it's an exciting time to pray with economic recovery will be the come back kids hours before the old business leaders warned him they still need more virus testing at a personal protective gear for workers to be sleep getting back on the job warning returning to normal won't happen fast even as White House virus task force coordinator Deborah Berke said the nation is improving that also still requires everyone to continue to social distance thank god Washington the massive federal relief package for the nation's small businesses is running out and Congress has stalled on another bailout package the three hundred forty nine billion dollar lending limit for.

S. especially in California and New York housing prices have soared in recent years could become an issue with the twenty twenty election Las Vegas is try to tackle the issue before the city council band a public food handouts briefly closed public parks and even been sleeping within five hundred feet of feces that I don't understand again this is an article of the French press for mayor Oscar Goodman I know our skin the husband of the current mayor once even proposed shipping homeless people to an abandoned prison thirty miles outside the city the USA today newspaper report so here's the question there's no he was going to incarcerate them is going to go somewhere to live that's all so here's my question I they have great empathy for people are homeless in theory any one of us could become homeless Inish in short order the economy goes south you lose your job thanks for closes however however I support this is not the criminalization of being homeless the crime is sleeping on the streets if you're homeless you need to do what ever you can to find yourself a place to sleep at night if you're homeless in you sleeping on the streets you are a target we reach once had an incident in a recently in answer to your query homeless individual attacked other homeless people no one should be sleeping on the streets of any American city however if the homeless population insist on sleeping on the streets particularly in residential areas they should be punished for that act now I know some of you will agree some of you don't agree that's why I'm opening up this topic right now six one seven two five four ten thirty triple eight nine two nine ten thirty sure did homeless people be prosecuted or should they be along with the books that would prosecute homeless people for sleeping on the street I say yes without such an ordinance without such a regulation such a provision you will have literally anarchy people could be sleeping if not on your front yard in your front yard they could be sleeping on the sidewalk in front of your home so if you are if you agree with me one here for me in this if you disagree with me feel free to bring it on as well six one seven two five four ten thirty triple eight nine to nineteen thirty this is an issue then more communities will be facing as time goes by I think in Los Angeles right now there is some six hundred whatever the number is I think California six hundred thousand people who are homeless and sixty thousand of them adjusted Los Angeles county alone it's an extraordinary number something needs to be done more shelters absolutely more shelters absolutely that's going to cost money to build more shelters but are you prepared to allow people to if if you do not want to see people arrested in rows from sleeping on the street then you better be prepared to have them sleeping in your front yard six one seven two five four ten thirty triple eight nine two nine ten thirty call me heartless call me cruel but call me.

City council candidate wants to keep town white

"It folks I mean we're having fun with this because it's sad right it's sad that there are people on this planet earth the gene Kramer's of the world the Nancy Goodman's of the world by the way JT referred to Nancy given is Carolyn Goodman we apologize now Caroline given you are a wonderful mayor you would never say something like that I don't be confused definitely not do that that is a low blow Mr Shapiro can you believe this woman Jean Kramer and by the way as far as you you people that's like the Bible all the time okay and I'm not saying if you cite the Bible all the time you're you're like this idiot Jean Kramer this racist pig but to run for office I don't care if it's a small town outside Detroit or if it's the presidency of the United States if you want your town or your city to be more white and by the way that is what she said she said she wants a committed to be white as much as possible that's what I said is is possible and she needs to move to Iceland yeah that's what she said by the way we're not making this up folks and then she double down and talked about interracial folks that's what she just double down she said she doesn't want interracial couples in her community I mean what is going on here is David Duke running for city council I would imagine that they talk pretty consistently James Jim Cramer and David Duke I imagine there touch quite quite often with we got this woman from North Carolina we just played Nancy government saying basically black people give me anxiety that they made me say the word and then you have this woman Jean Kramer there are a lot of gene Kramer's out there sadly sadly there are a lot of Nancy Goodman is out there we just don't get them I audio I don't think there's as many as you would as he was believe others there's definitely some there's but that that that's the extremist mindset on both sides it's on it's on the right side all Texas is to me that was zero to do with politics why is that not into politics this is this is ridiculous ignorant racism here's here's thing about race not run up Democrat or Republican in this conversation in two thousand nineteen it is it is literally the law of diminishing returns it is just stupidity being racist because the next fifteen to twenty years and this is an absolute guarantee Caucasians will be the overall minority they will not be fifty one percent of the United States population I don't care that's that that's just that's just the way it is and a lot of here and so being racist right now is one of the most ridiculous things you can do it does nothing but hurt you it does not help okay but in the past but if ninety nine point nine percent of the world was white I still wouldn't condone any of any of the so to me that's academic I don't care you know I mean I don't care whether we're forty nine percent of fifty one percent or eighty percent the point you don't you understand what I'm trying to make I don't care who the minority is it is disgusting but these women the words that come out of their mouths it is disgusting that this woman is even allowed to still run as a city council candidate I mean what would have happened if this if somebody said something like this in Las Vegas this woman would be would be gone in a heartbeat how was that this woman is still even allowed to run how is it that are open even racist bigot is allowed to run for office and she's running on the premise of bigotry and racism she really is me that's that's our campaign what is your see this is my issue and and I'm going to now interject politics into this fight I don't know if this woman is Republican or Democrat I'm going to imagine she's absolutely Republic yes I I would make that gas but when people talk about you know could anyone say well I like her policies I don't agree with her rhetoric but I like her policies does that remind you of somebody else and listen Donald Trump has said some very very racially charged for another half nothing anywhere near there is nothing to this I would say nothing near this when you called Mexicans crossing the border rapist and bad people and I suppose some of them are good people I wouldn't say that's no where near this when people chant send her back in a rally that's not I wouldn't say that's no where near this when somebody at one of Donald trump's rallies talks about killing on illegal crossing the border and he laughs about it doesn't say no Sir we don't condone violence I wouldn't say that's no where close to it but how is this woman still running for city council you know I I guess I guess you could I guess you could make the cotton we got we got good mint and don't know reference to the Goodman's in Las Vegas by the way we got good mint Nancy good meant who thinks it's okay to say the N. word to insult somebody and then we have this woman who thinks it's okay to say we want our community to be more white that's fine that's okay it just drives me crazy folks that there are people out there that are not only closet racists but they're willing to come out and run for office admit that they are racist basically saying they want the community be more white it is disgusting these people need to be called out in this day and age of social media and everything else and the way the media works make no mistake about it this is not fake news these people need to be called out and shamed I saw the video on social media the other day where a woman gets into a car accident hits a woman who was Asian you wouldn't believe the things that came out of her mouth she said go back to your country she called her words that I can't say on the radio likely this woman who is Asian video tape that it goes on social media and then these people lose their jobs and by the way I am all for it I am all
