Parents Don't Want Critical Race Theory Being Taught

You know why parents By the way, How do they know that? They're mostly white as we discussed earlier on the Dan Bongino show podcast where we address some of the same topics. Um, how do they know that? My video producer G said did they take some kind of a DNA sample and the way in Missouri Census form? How exactly does the intercept know that? That the parents are mostly white. A lot of people think my wife is mostly white, Unfortunately, is not. She's mostly not white. She's Colombian, and that's not from South Carolina. There are liberals. Listen, you have to clarify. There's a country in South America, Colombia. It's actually spelled with an O. Not AU. They frequently screw that up. How do they know that? Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson Suggests North Carolina Will Not Turn Blue
"Here. Sure its North Carolina is this trending blue. It frightens me. Like I said, My father lives there, So I've got a pretty decent, you know flavor for the politics there, and it appears at least that it seems to be trending blue. And if so, how do we stop it? Well, you know, the news media would say that its trending blue You know, that's what you hear because the big the big Metropolis area, the big Metroplex areas. Are, of course, leaning that way or are Heavily a blue but across the state. What you see are people that are endowed with common sense and wisdom who still believe in our constitution. I still believe in those values that made this state and this nation great. Uh, I do not believe that this state is going to become blue because folks in this state are waking up every day. I think the problem that we see across the nation band is this Too many people have not been engaged on the ground level. When I say that have not been actively involved in politics. Sure they go Both. They vote what they've always voted, but they have not gotten involved. These issues, the more you see the left do the ridiculous things that we're seeing from the body Administration all the way down to county school and local school boards. You're going to see more and more Folks who want to hold onto our freedom coming out and you're going to see a huge link

"Powerful, powerful guy. Guy who decided one day to speak up about his God given right to defend himself and his family about the Second Amendment. And do a bunch of hard work now finds himself lieutenant governor of the Great State of North Carolina, where my father is a resident. Folks, This man is a rising star in the Republican Party. We don't worship golden calves like the left. Does it make deities out of these people? Fauci, Obama and others. Jim is doing his best to get him on the show tomorrow or sometime this week. If any of you know Mark Robinson reached out to him say, Hey, Dan, Bongino watch you on the show. Cause I really like to ask him. More about that how he feels about critical race theory. And a point he makes that We made on our show often believe me. I'm not trying to steal his thunder. There's no stealing that thunder. That thunders is trust me that done there's exclusively yes. But for those of you Listen to my podcast, and I've been listening for a while. And for those of you who are new to radio, We brought up the point often that he says in the end World doesn't know you, Jack Squat Jack left town a long time ago. The world is an unfair place. Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson Addresses Race Hustlers
"But the lieutenant governor was speaking at the convention this weekend in North Carolina Convention where President spoke Trump President Trump spoke to Excuse me. And I'm telling you, I haven't heard a finer two minutes and 20 seconds of a speech in a long time. Here is Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson. Here's the first part about a minute or so. Play the second part, obviously right after I just want you to listen to this. Addressing Mark Robinson happens to be a black man, which is totally insignificant to Republicans. But the Democrats, it's everything because I guess he's oppressed or You're oppressing him or whatever. And Mark Robinson just takes it to the race hustlers like I have not heard in a long time. Play Mark Robinson, Dara some people that we're talking about reparations in this country. They wanted reparations. And I remember I made this particular liberal so angry at me because I told them right to their face. Nobody owes you anything for slavery. If you want to tell the truth about it, it is You who owes It's you, who owns Why do you? Oh, because somebody in those fields took stripes for you. Somebody After those fields were ended in slaver was ended. Somebody had to walk through Jim Crow for you. Somebody fought wars and died for you. Somebody lived less than because they didn't have what you have, and they did it for you. There are people in their graves right now. And they are there because they were willing to stand up and fight for you. Whoa!
Help! My sister is pressuring me to join her MLM
"My sister has recently a multi level marketing company. And she won't stop pestering me and the rest of the family to get in while we can. I made the mistake of agreeing to go to one of the presentations. Now i'm worried. I'll end up getting excited to and wasting my money. How can i back out. And what if missing the opportunity of a lifetime just getting. I'm pretty much sure it's not that. But how are you sure that all of these programs are so bad. What do we tell her. Thanks for your help press carolina. It's a tough one Thank you for the question. I do this from time to time or variations of this about how there's a friend or family member that says this is as caroline said the opportunity of a lifetime. And you know it's probably not and the person usually knows that it's not the opportunity of a lifetime they understand. It's probably not a good idea at all. But they're not quite sure what to do. And so you know. Here's what i would ask a person who is you know gun-ho about a particular opportunity like this. I would say well. How is it going for you so far because often the messaging with these programs is very much about lifestyle aspiration. It's the promise of something but the results are quite different from the promise. So you say well. Is it really working out that way for you so far like you've said a lot of good things about the potential but how is it working out not just for you but also the other people you know in the program and almost always what you hear is well. I'm just getting started. But somebody else out there is doing really well and you know. It's a fact that the vast majority when i say vast majority. There's actually been studies about this. It's more than ninety eight percent of people who join network marketing programs end up losing money. And that's why even though we try to feature lots and lots of different ideas here on the podcast. I don't feature anything to do with network marketing because if ninety eight percent of people are losing money then i don't think it's because they're all just lazy or they're all doing it wrong. It's more that these programs are set up to mostly benefit the people who start them so assuming you know that. What do you do when you're in the situation like caroline where your sister or somebody is really excited about it. I think what you do. is you try to. You know not make that person feel attack or defensive. You encourage them to see the truth for themselves and you ask questions like that like oh how is it working for you.
State and Local Republican Parties Are Turning Ever More Toward Trump
"January six dr day history of the united states cap president trump is spoken many times since we left office. And i don't know if we'll ever see. But i will always be proud of what we accomplish for the american people over the last four years in new hampshire this week downplaying his differences with president trump Over the course of their partnership president trump of course returned to the stage last night as well with that speech in north carolina. Talk about it on our roundtable. We've got rahm emanuel donna. Brazile wall street journal columnist jason ryan riley a senior fellow at the manhattan institute and author of new book. Maverick a biography of thomas sowell and former libertarian member of congress justin amash and carson let me begin with you. The new york times is an interesting analysis of president trump this where they call them diminished but dominating at the same time of course. He had to give up basically his blog this week. He's still has a hold on the republican party. You serve with a lot of republican members of congress. How do you explain it. What republicans do about it well over the last couple years. I've really seen it. Take off. When i first got to congress. I could see this nationalist sort of starting to swell and by about two thousand fifteen. It took hold of the republican party in in a pretty big way at first members of congress when donald trump took office were doubtful about him. They would make fun of them in private. They'd criticize him They'd insult him. Even i thought they going too far and i was a big critic of donald trump and i couldn't believe some of the things that were said about him and then around two or three years ago around the beginning of twenty nine or so. I saw people really start to shift and the party really became donald trump's party completely and that's going to be the way it is over the next few years. I don't think. I don't think we're going back to a different kind of republican party.

Receivers to Target in the Late Rounds of your Dynasty Rookie Draft - burst 04
"Turnaround. Flip them for profit moving onto the next guy who ran five picks later in the nineteenth pick of the guy that i am super high on. Its the army brown from north carolina. Going to the washington football team and let me tell you why i like damn brown. The rebound has six one. One hundred eighty nine pounds of has pretty ideal size for receiver but and north carolina. he had to terrific seasons. He's past two seasons in twenty twenty. He had fifty five catches for one thousand ninety nine yards and the twenty nine thousand nine hundred fifty one catches for one thousand three hundred four forty nine yards and oh by the way throughout. He had twelve touchdowns in his sophomore year in towns in his junior. This is pretty impressive. Because i'm not sure if the North carolina has had great quarterback play particularly either. It is not. I'm not super familiar with a north carolina. The program but how how how should be the number one pick probably next year so they. They've had a pretty good quarterback he's other classmate that's right. I did hear about how so okay. They did have how but anyway. A guy putting up static this two years as Sophomore and junior. And he's doing this by the way with fifty one and fifth in fifty five receptions so it's not like he's getting a ton of targets he's maximizing opportunities putting up staff that are up there with with the top of the top and so this is a guy that You could argue count. Wise in what he's produced typically makes him atop success in receiver in this class. But oh by the way. He's fallen into the third round. Now the draft and he's actually ending up in a landing spot better than the guys that went before him because the washington football team they have terry maclaurin but do they have a number two receiver. No the don't cam. Sims is not going to cut it. Let's let's be real here for second. Kempson is not going to cut this guy who's going to step in right away and be the number two receiver so if anything. I can see this guy having a top five season as far as rookie receivers this this upcoming season because there is such an immediate chance for brown shine. I loved the town. And i love the situation. So both those things matchup for me and ryan patrick in their offense while just knowing ryan fitzpatrick. He's a guy who likes to sling the ball He's not free for big throws and yami brown is a guy that could be a target while so this is an the situation to really like especially in the strip term but i think his talent overall what is what will help him. Secure the number two role for washington in the long term. You did forget. Courtesy meals with their in the offseason. Curtis samuel okay. yes courtesy. You might be the number two receiver. But i'm not. I'm not saying that kurdistan wills a lot in geometry breath. If i think those are two big comparable players and the down brown can still end up. Overtaken curtis samuel for the number two role because it's not like samuels established in washington. Anyway he's gonna they're gonna walk on equal playing fields if anything. Yeah to co plank. Roads honestly yeah. So i mean i you know how high was on diane. Be brian i think i was probably than anybody else in the industry pre-draft in you know the fact that he didn't get a super high draft capital. I think a lot of people would just never really caught up to where the hype was going was headed towards So now he kinda ended up back back to where he's at. I know you said you saw them. You know at the beginning of the third round in. I'm in motion address. At pretty much where i got him every draft. You know there was two guys. I walked away with almost in every draft i. It was karen's marshall because if he was following the second taking them and diani bryant third. I was taking him no matter what and wasn't trained. Now those picks and i wasn't moving up or down at sticking with it. So i ended up with jami round maybe beating my number one player at of all my dynasty leaks. So you know. I'm i'm really high. I think there's a lot of potential to proprietor curse. Amiel i do think we'll we'll out touch him for sure year. One you know. But terry mccaren is another guy you know. He did not have first round draft capital as a rookie. So he's only got a couple of years left before they have to really choose on renewing his contract whether they wanna pay him if they view him to be a. You know an elite receiver that they wanna pay top ten top twenty money. They might just let him walk. You know and if that's the case the brown is almost a cologne terry records. You know he. He averaged over twenty yards a catch with a lot of volume in college. Which is one of. it's got to be one. The highest of abo scouted and You know the way he wins is he. Wins deep wins. He's a burner he gets out feel and i think there's actually a lot of room for him to grow because didn't see him run a really complex route tree and north carolina. They didn't ask them to you. Know and as kirsten says you know why why would the team tell him to do something different and teach them other rouse when when he consistently wins for twenty on the field every time you know. They don't need them to do that but an nfl. He probably has higher upside now because he can still learn. The trees like we saw with decay metcalf in some other like a jay brown. You know the same knock on metcalf was he. He only ran Slants down the in the Mississippi offense coming out of college and look how that turned out you know now. He's one of the better route runners in the entire league to mix with the athletes athletic ability. So i really liked the army brown. And i think that You know if you're getting him in the late second and early dirty of your rookie drafts. I think you're you're walking away with one of their players in the draft. One of the guys that we both really like. You can expect for geometry brown to produce put up some big

Georgia, investigators say the 21 year old Robert Aaron, long a white man who that now charged is guilty of the deadliest mass murder since 2019 officers say they were able to track him down thanks to his parents, who saw the surveillance pictures and told police that this was him. Police were then able to track his cell phone and caught up with him south of Atlanta. They believe if they hadn't stopped him, he would have continued driving the Florida gunning down more victims. Lord only knows right, So that's what we were speaking at the end of the previous hour. Brad Garrett about in just Careful about narratives in search of an outcome and Operating a series of assumptions because they don't always necessarily media to truth. In fact, more often than not that saying about assumptions can end up being correct now. Switching gears here a bit we have talked about the border throughout. The course of the show is well today, including what is going to come next. Now we know that some of these unaccompanied minors that have come across the border have been housing facility set up by FEMA, in some cases, places where they've never been taken before. Like Dallas, For example, the star of the show represented Brian Mast told us he did anticipate that there would be An effort to relocate many of these miners to Florida. Now we know about the homestead detention facility that's been used multiple times over the years, let alone any other. Facilities that might be set up or any other. You know, plans that come into play here to talk about some of this is Stacey Salerno, assistant professor of sociology at Broward College. Stacy. It's good to have you Good. It's good to be here, Brian. How are you doing pretty well. All things considered. All right. So Let's take a look at this whole situation first about you know the potential for some of these unaccompanied minors being relocated to Florida, perhaps South border maybe the homestead detention facility. What's your understanding about some of this? Ah, well, there hasn't been an official announcement that that would be the case. Um, but what? I can tell you that the homestead detention center you know, we're shut down in 2019 as a result of a local And in federal outcry, you know, against allegations of misconduct and you know, sort of pushback from people looking into the Consequences of having you know, especially Children and or and or families into the in detention centers so that detention center was shut down. There are rumors that it may have to reopen as an in what's called an emergency influx center. But it's still kind of up in the air. So I think you know we'll have to wait and see what happens with that. Whether or not that detention center will be reopened. So you know from a a point of Your professor, profession and sociology. I can't imagine what the impact is on. These Children, you know, under any circumstances that You know, are coming here they're brought into you know these facilities and this has been true over the decades now and you have no idea of what the future looks like. What Is the longer term impact of that type of an environment and what type of an impact doesn't have on somebody over the course of their life. Yeah. I mean, that's a really important point to make. Uh, psychologists have been calling for attention have been calling attention to the start to this problem because Yeah, I mean, aside from, you know, mental health problems like PTSD. We're talking about long term developmental issues among Children. And even when families are detained together Excuse me, Um You know, we're seeing sort of a breakdown in the family dynamics because parents don't really have a lot of control over what happens, you know, inside the detention center. I mean, even when it comes to basic things like dinnertime or what the Children are learning or homework or even when a child gets has access to medication. So, yeah, The long term effects are pretty serious, but I think another thing I wanted Tomo up associated with this is that you know, not every person who is crossing the border has the same. Chance of, you know, being detained, you know, way focus a lot on border crossings and what's happening right now at the border, But you know a lot of the folks coming over to the U. S. In fact, in 2017 over 700,000 people This is according to Homeland Security who came into the U. S overstayed their tourist visa, meaning they arrived by plane. Um, right. And so there is a difference a segmented Way in which people are interacting with the immigration system s O people coming by playing people arriving in our airports and overseeing their tourist visas. Generally have more resource is they're able to access legal counsel in an easier in the end a faster way they generally go straight to their sponsors, whether it's a family member or a friend. Um, they are perhaps more familiar with the immigration system. Whereas folks who are crossing the border and again that percentage is actually lower. If I go back to 2017 as an example, we're talking approximately about 300,000 people that are crossing, um in border states. Those books generally have you no less resource is they don't have a direct connection with legal counsel and they're more likely to be detained. Right? So there is a difference and how folks experience The immigration system in the U. S. I think and I think we don't really talk about that often enough. It's a good point, you know, and then you help underlying the overarching issues that we have in this country. With our system. There's no doubt that it's long been broken. I mean, regardless of politics, that's one thing that universally, people seem to be able to agree on. It's how we we try to fix things where everything goes sideways. But you know, safety on that particular note. You remind me s O, you know, having traveled Find a bed and and, you know, study other governments as well. There are many developed countries in the world that seemingly have the issues that we do and sure some of it is, you know the border that we share our southern border. But as you point out the pieces and everything else You know, why is it you think that we are so inefficient at managing the our sovereignty relative to so many other countries that simply don't You know, perhaps tolerate things quite the same way that we do. Yeah. I mean, I can't You know, I can't speak at at a global level, but I can I do know that you know the way that we used detention centers, for example. Is it is not exclusive to the U. S. But it definitely characterizes the way that we have dealt with immigration. And this is regardless of who is in the White House, right? It doesn't matter which political party We've used more of a correctional model right?.

And so there's going to be some spots open up for some people and i'm anxious to see who who steps up any predictions for twenty twenty minutes. Oh goodness i think it's like you said there. There's probably one or two. Maybe on this list that might be bound for some type of opportunity. Might be a couple that we've not mentioned who are bound for an opportunity workers. You know we've had the past people like John skyler or a cable calmly or whoever who have now started to inch their way into that So again if you take this as an opportunity to use it as a marketing scheme or whatnot. I'm more than happy to give you. Whatever graphics we've recreated would love to have this be so they use to promote yourself there If you take a next step somewhere people said before. This is one of the criticisms. It is faced in terms of doing these award year year. So people say whole money's older batters to be. It's all. I care about terms of successful error. And that's fine but at the same time we're trying to do this as a mechanism positivity that will bring attention not only to the individual talents but to the region as a whole and. I hope we're doing that. Steel Is still there have been cases where i've questioned. Do we continue on this or not. But then i have somebody come around and say. Hey you do on the gordian this year and it's just enough of a little spark there to say yes. I've known him for a while. Let me tell you i to anything to quick break. Concert number one. I watched the that. Female talents in this part of the world. Because there are and you can add them to your show and you can have that one extra level in terms of being not just new pairs of guys going out there and tried to beat each other up all of that it can be. You can have a ladies match. You can ask them comedy. You can have or whatever it will make it a diverse show that really gives people their money's worth but You can do that by looking at it this list picking this whole group here if you wanted to. We're joined now by two highly experienced political journalists who could surely deliver the best jokes on this program about the trump weather map but have agreed to temporarily leave that to the late night comedians while they concentrate on the issues issues. The president seems to be trying to us from john holliman's with us. He's a national affairs analyst for n._b._c. news and m._s._n._b._c. he has co host and executive producer of showtime's the circus and he's one of the a truly great writers who has fixed his focus on politics and are the better for it joins us. He is the politics editor of the daily beast and he he is an m._s._n._b._c. Political analyst continues to deliver some of the most important reporting of the trump era about what the trump administration is actually doing ninety <music> levers of power in government vami not saying i mean you're the one who goes inside the government in these stories that few us of find the space to cover and tell us what what they're really up to so. Let let's start with you on this question of. He wants us to talk about the hurricane map because what's the thing he doesn't want us talking about. Is it the money for the military money. I don't buy the premise i okay i. I think you know earlier. When i was covering trump i probably would have bought the premise the three dimensional chess and i certainly do you that the military the diversion military funds to the wall is an embarrassing story if anything anything a complete absence of his campaign for the entire republican party yeah because they they allowed this to get through with the transference funds but i've come through observation and reporting that trump is just sort of clinically incapable of moving on from these things into him. There's no greater slight than being perceived as is being completely out of touch with reality and so he's now gone through almost a dozen tweets a proclamation statements written upon maps to prove that he was right about about alabama and what's particularly bizarre about this and why. I think that this is a very bad story from in its own right. He's doing all while our country is still dealing with turkey and it's not like the hurricane has passed north carolina's about getting it right now so it would be one thing if we gone through this. There was no damage but he's literally distracted by proving that alabama was in the crosshairs as north carolina is dealing with this. I meant to include this in the premise. I cling to the to the possibility that it's both yeah yeah. There's an obsessive and he has obsessive behavior all the time but he's also aware he's looking at those maps segments and going well. They're not talking about the the kids schools that i'm not funding well. I think this is the right answer and i will say not obsessive pathological as the word you're looking for. His pathology is a pathological liar. The pathology apology however is triggered by various bad news on other fronts so the pathophysiology gets up intensive when he looks around and sees what all the domestic political fraud he looks at polling where he's getting beaten like a gong in every swing state by not just joe biden but by many of the doubt further down the scale will democrats he looks across the ocean. He sees fred boris johnson getting beaten about the face and neck every day telling us how smart boris johnson and then and then he looks at the economy on me where we have news just this today this the survey that these certified accountants financial industry executives who are more pessimistic about the look for the economy than they have been in three years and you've got data coming out that suggests that we have a looming recession so economic news political news foreign news all bad stories for donald trump and it amps up the instinct for pathological lines. Let me just say it's not like this. Particularly savvy effort virtually no not want us. I guess i'm just making hers. You say it doesn't take sophistication to try to divert attention to something a little bit more positive than you have ranting about alabama and writing over man. What's he gonna go do a rally somewhere. Leave the oval office. Go down to the border. The building the wall there are things you could do as the president united states to divert attention and much more positive ways instead of bringing attention to yourself with someone who is incapable of.

"Guessed if you haven't guessed it. You'll get the answer after this break grew up back. This is the second prison trump apparently wants us to be discussing his abuse of weather maps. He must want us to talk about it because he kept tweeting about it today. The president is personally keeping this story alive the story of him using a defaced weather map to try to prove that hurricane dorian could have reached alabama. Why is he doing this. Why does he so obviously want us to talk about this this story it's a bad story for donald trump but it does seem like it might be one of those deliberate trump diversions because the story we turn to now is much much worse for donald trump and worse in the view of trump voters and that is the new information. We have tonight about the money. Donald trump is diverting -verting from the defense department budget to pay for the wall. He promised his voters mexico would pay for. I will have mexico pay for that wall mark. My words mexico will pay for more believe me and and who's who's gonna pay for the wall mexico hundred hundred percent. How is the next rally going going to feel about. Chanting the pentagon will pay for the wall or we will pay for the wall or school. Children of military personnel will pay for the wall. This is a much worse story for donald trump than a fake line on a weather map. The defense department's diverting three point six billion dollars away from one hundred twenty seven military construction projects projects in twenty. Three states are being funded to pay for the wall nine of those construction projects are for building or renovating schools calls for the children of u._s. Military personnel utah a state with two republican senators is losing fifty four billion dollars in military funding that will be sent to the wall arizona senator martha mcsally who has supported the president's emergency declaration that he is using to justify the diversion of military funds uh-huh is now watching an army base in her state lose thirty million dollars to pay for the wall and that's after the secretary area defense had personally assured her that arizona wouldn't lose any money former astronaut mark kelly running as a democrat for the senate in arizona. Zona is already pulling ahead of republican senator. Martha mcsally mark kelly now says that senator mc sally quote didn't keep her word when she promised is to protect funding for arizona.

"Well. If you have no power your drugs can get spoiled. There are so many life life threatening things that happened in the aftermath of the storm that they are not out of the crisis yet and this is a test of our compassionate empathy right now and i'm hoping that folks are finding the right places to go to contribute to this effort because we here in the state of new jersey believe it or not have still people who are recovering their lives after the devastating loss and again lawrence i appreciate you on so many levels but pointing out the resiliency that people of wealth waffen have but low income families poor families it could be tragically tragically devastating to their lives and the impact can be lasting an traumatic and lasts for years no listen i know people who in the aftermath of hurricane simply pulled up and went to a hotel a distant hotel and and i also know people who lost their homes had nowhere to go and after sandy i didn't get through jersey but i was up in staten island which was absolutely devastated and i i. You're not surprising me by saying there. There are people in areas housing situations that have not recovered have not been made whole since sandy. What is the what is the government's responsibility in the aftermath of one of these storms. I think this is these are moments. Where we you have to understand. It is all hands on deck that word responsibility has everyone has to take responsibility and lawrence. You and i live in the new york new jersey area. We have seen from nine eleven to hurricane sandy. Where is the best of humanity. Come forward where people were there for their neighbors. They were there air for their community. They never stopped working and i know first responders and the aftermath my team was going days with very little to no sleep leap whatsoever but i tell you what we set up a hub in newark to receive resources and we're getting truckloads of food and water from states around around us people sending their emergency crews here doing sort of joint rescues.

We had florence last year. Now we're dealing with dorian and it's <hes> you know it's it's obviously i say are kind of <hes> on whether weary but <hes> we're ready to go to hunker down and we'll put our assets our streets as soon as this storm passes now. I know you have a lot of experience as a coastal city in the carolinas align is dealing with hurricanes and anticipation canes but did you do anything differently this year based on last year's experience. We did <hes> last. Should we just we were cut off in the world for four days because the allen areas flooded and interstate forty i mean ari coming into the city was funded for four days. So we pre position fuel. A lot of resources that came in from the state early on <hes> were pre-position into higher ground closer to the city <hes> obviously we have been going through these hurricane drills a couple of times a year so our our teams down here first responders emergency operations officials always always learn something different about every storm and <hes> we learned a lot from florence and we pre position assets closer into the city does time than we did last damn <hes>. If this thing does come ashore there will be ready to to help the folks in the sentences on in our community. What do you want to tell the people of wilmington who have of <hes>. What do you want to tell them tonight about what they can expect in terms of being able to return well listen to what the emergency operation folks folks say <hes> you know gives us some time to get our crews into the streets and clean up the debris would make sure that they're already down power lines not livewires wires or somebody doesn't get hurt educated <hes> and let us get those things out of the way getting them cleared up before you move back into town. We'll give you the the all oh cleared to get back and you'll be listening to the state and to the federal officials as well as local officials on before you make that track back into town and we also want to make certain yeah we do have any roadways that are <hes> flooded. We we want the citizens to be aware of them because we we lost several people last year where people try to transverse oh rosa were covered and could make it and unfortunately.

Will they move on shore or stay offshore. That'll be the big determination of how much damage we have in eastern north carolina when we all wake up tomorrow morning so during the day day today the storm brushed by areas of south carolina and i brushed it left. It's mark almost three hundred thousand people without power but it didn't do a lot of significant damage with the storm surge that was one thing we were concerned about the charleston area and even savannah for that matter and that was okay and we have we can did a little bit. We're now. We're down to one hundred mile per hour. Maximum sustained winds gust could still get up there about one hundred in twenty if you're in the worst of the storm and that's the question who's going to be in the worst of the storm as we go throughout the next four hours. We're gonna parallel. The coastline that northern is very close closed areas around wilmington rights bill beach go through oslo county the camp lejeune marine base there north topsil beach and then we could possibly get that landfall here carter at county near atlantic beach morehead city the beaufort area where the cedar island ferry takes you out here towards ocracoke.
