"Text message evidence and recording evidence that yes, a member of Busby's team has approach Watson's team. A to least about If not directly about settlements about Trying to work things out. So a lot of posturing. Ah lot multiple versions of the truth apparently out there. And I think the hope among Most of us is, if this thing gets resolved to and gets resolved to everybody's satisfaction, and then we move on. As far as the football side of this stuff. Peter King in his column this week. Let's put all the legal stuff aside for a second, he said. I think predicting the future of to Shawn Watson is fraught. With? Well, it's impossible, he says. I just think by a year from today who have a new home gut feeling, it's impossible to predict the future. With so many legal issues involved, depending on the outcome, several teams might not want to even think about Watson and rightfully so if he's free to play football, unencumbered by legal issues in 2020 to hear my odds for Watson's next football team. He's got Philadelphia and Carolina at 3 to 1 tied at the top of the list. Philadelphia's tons of ammunition, three first round picks that they have to play with. And And and not us. Hard core cemented spotted quarterback Hell, their head coach, Nick Syriani, is even willing to name Jalen hurts the starter right now. So their quarterback situation is very much in a state of flux. That could be a team that if to Sean gets his stuff decided in the next several weeks. Who knows? Maybe the Eagles make a play for you, Shawn Watson before this season starts Who knows? Carolina's a little more cemented in their quarterback situation, but not Not Yeah, you know, not not etched in stone by any means. It's Sam Darnel, and they gave up a lot of draft capital for him. Six this year, 2nd and 4th next year. But if Sam Darnel is not cured of his pills in New York, which basically consisted of him not being very good at football than to Shawn Watson becomes ah Of a big target for Dave Pepper in the Carolina Panthers. And I think that's the other thing you need to understand about Philly and Carolina. These air both teams where Key members of the organization. Are are reportedly all in on trying to get to Shawn Watson. Peter King says that That Howie Roseman is willing to give up everything to get to Shawn Watson in Philadelphia. Multiple reports have said Dave Tepper is of same mind. He's the owner and Carolina Did. Shaun has ties to that part of the country. He played college football Clemson. Probably one of the few parts of the country that he still viewed in a somewhat sports heroic fashion. Then the other teams on Peter King's list Washington at 5 to 1, Denver it 6 to 1. All teams with huge quarterback needs. Puts Houston it 8 to 1 is being the team that to Shawn Watson is on. So I guess Peter King is leaving open the possibility that to Sean wants in place for the Texans again. I don't know what the feeling is under Shawn Watson behind the scenes here. I don't Cover the team. They are not giving me the vibe of a team. It's waiting for, too John Watson to come back to the building. The sense I get is that this is a team that's moving on. David Cully, the new head coach in Houston, had his first press conference. Of the offseason activities yesterday, the rookie minicamp. He used the phrase This is a new team multiple times. And when he was asked about Watson, he sidestepped the question wisely. Um, but he used in the overall descriptor of the team. And for those who have been following the Texans, eh? I don't blame you be. They signed literally 30 New free agents, most of them the one year deals. I mean, this is a team there is a nuclear fall out clean up going on with Nick Assyria. So he used that phrase multiple times. This is a new team. I don't know if you use the phrase, This is a new team. If you have a feeling that the most important player in your organization is coming back to play for you That's just me reading the tea leaves. That's not me reporting anything or with any knowledge of stuff going on behind the scenes. This is a team that seems to be conducting itself. Hell, they drafted a quarterback with their first pick. Granted, He was in the third round. But that was their first pick the 67th pick overall, so they they're not behaving like a team that thanks to Shawn Watson is coming back. Peter King's other teams for two Shawn Watson, New Orleans, 9 to 1, Miami, 10 to 1. Then it starts to get into some long shots. Minnesota 20 to 1 Pittsburgh, 25 to 1. You're in any of those cities. Where you at right now, with two Shawn Watson. Because the first month after he requested a trade, it's almost like my show became a swap meet or a flea market. Uh, where the main product was, too. Shawn Watson. And trade offers coming at me as if I were Nick Assyria that is decidedly cooled off on this show and rightfully so. It Z. You know to Sean is a trade commodity. His has not been a huge topic, but If the storm clouds are starting to part here. If we think that.

Sit here and talk about oh goody goody goody the. Nfl schedule is out. Let's go ahead and talk about. Which team is going to do. What in which team is going to do. I'm not gonna do that. "Aces will be next Friday, May 21st versus the Los Angeles Sparks at the Mandalay Bay. Events in here. LAS Vegas I want to take time here and wish a very Bt Recovery to Angel McCoughtry. She suffered a season ending A C L injury during a preseason game against Ellie Sparks. Now three weeks ago, Angel joined me here on this show and was looking so forward to the upcoming season and you know, just from talking with her, and from what I could tell you about her. This young lady is so humble and true to this game, and she's definitely not going to let this engine We sent her back. So if anyone can recover from this, he can really enjoyed having her here on the show. And I tell you what the WNBA wouldn't be where it is today without people like Angel McCoughtry and what she has contributed to this league. So Angel get well soon and we know you'll be back. Bigger and stronger. Always. The NFL released the full 2000 and 21 schedules joined me in second half of the show is I take a look at the Las Vegas rated schedule. Also, we're gonna take a look at the Pittsburgh Steelers schedule and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Now you might be asked What those three teams Okay, well, you should be asking about the Raiders. All right, this is Las Vegas, and the Raiders do play here. The Pittsburgh Steelers have deep, toughest schedule in the NFL for 2021. So we'll go over that schedule, and you will see why I believe they got the toughest schedule. And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl defending champions until someone knocked him off right, They're going to try to go and repeat and become Super Bowl champions again, and guess what, folks, it might happen. They have the easiest schedule of any Super Bowl championship team I've ever seen now on and some of the reason and we get more into it in the second half of the show, but a lot of it has to do with games and conferences that are scheduled years in advance. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the NFC East. Okay, so that's Dallas, Washington football team, New York Giants and Philadelphia. So I mean, we know last year, I think that division was the worst in football, and I think whoever wanted may have wanted with a losing record at that, I think was the Washington football team. But nevertheless, I mean, those are the teams that Tampa Bay is gonna play them. And then they got their own division, which is the NFC South. So you have New Orleans. You got the New Orleans Saints team that does not have a Drew Brees. You have a Carolina Panthers team that does not have a Teddy Bridgewater or Cam Newton. For that matter, You know, Cam left and went to the New England Patriots last year. They also going to play the Atlanta Falcons, and you just never know what you're gonna get from Atlanta. Atlanta is a team that has declined so much after winning the NFC championship three years ago, and then Ultimately losing the Super Bowl. That was Super Bowl, where they lead 28 to 3 to the New England Patriots. When you look at that we look at, so that's two divisions that Tampa Bay is going to be playing, and then we'll go over the rest of that schedule a bit later in the show, So I just need you to know why we're gonna kind of talk about that and more details to schedule release that has become such a big thing these days. I remember it wasn't so big because I don't think you know the schedules would come out and we would just talk about it just that any other But the NFL is really I found a way to just really pump this up. As a matter of fact, I think the schedule release is probably the third biggest event in the NFL. I mean, if you if you Super Bowl number one, of course, the NFL draft and then the schedule release because their schedule release parties if you watch the NFL network's coverage, ESPN or Fox Sports Anybody's coverage of the schedule released. They found a way to make this entertaining and I admit I got caught up in it. I had myself on in one hand, I had a laptop going in and out. Hand and there I was booking hotels and getting tickets and you know, booking flights and all of that stuff, So I mean, it is a huge because that's the day that you know you can make your plans and what's more exciting and 2021 is the fact that people will be able to go to games. The NFL did say that they will have full stadiums this year throughout the leagues. And then, of course, that goes along with the recent announcement by the president, that if your foot fascinated You can not wear your mask outdoors You don't have to our indoor For that matter. You could hang around others who are fully fascinated. So that's gonna be interesting to see. So it should be an exciting year as far as people getting out there and having a good time And how about a Legion stadium? You know, so we're talking about the rate of schedule or they're going to be playing. But at the same time, how about for the first time fans will be allowed in that stadium? It's going to be interesting. Another thing here. I guess we haven't really talked much about the discount. Watson sent away. Isn't on this show. And as a matter of fact, things have been really quiet out of Houston, Texas is for his dish on Watson Tonight. Patrick Crayton, the host of late hits on 97.5, ESPN. Houston is going to join me to talk to John Watson and the Houston Texans should be a very interesting segment You don't want to miss. That means you show is brought to you by the Las Vegas aces. Presidential limousine back, captain And the West Gate Resort Casino Sports Book If you haven't heard Las Vegas is open for business, so make sure you get here and enjoy it..

Baker Mayfield’s Contract With Cleveland Browns Extended Through 2022

"The Cleveland Browns picked up the fifth year option for Baker Mayfield. Guaranteed at least two more seasons of the man, maybe more. He gets that contract extension and he's eligible for He was selected number one overall in the draft. That included Sam Donald two spots after him, Sam Donald looking for a new start right now, with Carolina Panthers. You can also take a look at Josh Allen selected at seventh overall, he played at an M V p level last year. And then someone who did when the M V P And has a regular season record. This is just ridiculous. I think the record might be 30 and seven Is Lamar Jackson. Baker Mayfield is to do that's just like you would select the number one. How come the other two guys had better careers or better starts than you? Baker did throw 27 touchdowns that rookie year. He did regressing year too. He did light it up last year. Think Baker is the man. I think he is the long term answer. The Cleveland Browns. I think he is able to turn things around, especially with all of the talent that he has around him because he doesn't have to do it

"carolina panthers" Discussed on Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell

"Audiences doubled in the last year plus and we thank you so much for the support and we'll keep working extra hard to deliver more winners for you. You can listen on the iheartradio app. Just search for straight outta vegas as right here in vegas on the strip fifty eight degrees. The neon is chugging and there was a report out earlier today from last bowen of the philadelphia inquirer the said the following that he spoke with. Nfl management source not from the eagles about the carson wentz issue and that his view point is that if wentz doesn't want the bears the bears aren't going to trade form and eventually the eagles laugh to take whatever. The indianapolis colts are offering. Okay so it's my understanding that there's only three players in the nfl. That have no trade. Clause the shawn watson russell wilson and jimmy. Graham of all people jimmy graham. Hey give give them credit right okay. So let's think the premise of jones's sat up. And don't forget about two years ago right here on this show on these airwaves. I said during this zeke holdout in kabo. I said where does it end. Where does it end because when you were at the point where literally the rules. At the time the rules are that just was the beginnings of the ability for dallas to extend. It couldn't have extended him a month before it was illegal. It's someone turning sixteen and a month later. They're suing their parents because they don't have a car yet. It's all right. I don't know about ever doing that but maybe wait a couple years. No no it's like you can. Actually you could meet three days ago. I'm outta here. i'm going to call. That seemed a little out of bounds. Where is it going to end. Well now we have a situation with the shawn watson. Now think about this a second. We have a guy that has a no trade clause demanding a trade so he literally gets say. Oh i know. I just signed you know what five year contract for hundreds of millions of dollars but i decided i don't like it here anymore and i don't want to be forced to say here and make a half a billion in the next five years or whatever close to it all right. We can debate that. I think it goes against watson. And i love watson as a player. I love everything. I hear about him off the field you know. I don't know. But i got no problem with him. I mean he's a winner. I love winners. I mean won a national title. But i don't understand how a person that the team can't trade can demand a trade and then somehow be dictate where he gets traded to now. That sounds like pure free agency with exists. But when you're in the middle of not in the middle at the beginning of a five year contract the thing that no one wants to say because almost every host. And i don't blame him for this they want to put themselves off as part of the proletariat. They're part of the working class so they're gonna be on the side of the players because that's who the fans are on most time like come on a lot of these radio guys are making a million five million ten million a year. They're not part of the working class. Like just forget that right but the further they get from it the more they act like it. So let's be candid here. How is it that the owners have to abide by contracts and the players. Don't if owner said. Oh aaron rodgers. Who signed an all cash people say. Whoa the donors can cut them anytime they went. Well yeah because that's the deal that was signed. You can sign a deal like aaron rodgers. Did that said it's all cash. It's all guaranteed. And i think if i'm not mistaken. Cousins has almost all guaranteed money. You have l- average. You can negotiate a no trade clause. You can negotiate whatever you want but then you gotta deal. You can't do business deals. Don't count so let's start there. And it's not against watson but a guy with a no trade clause is demanding a trade and that's he gets a dictate where he goes. But now we're going to go one step. Further as jones said in his sat up. And you're right in that. That's the perception. Joan is is is going to decide where he goes. Why so i'm confused. Sign a long term deal doesn't even have no trade clause but now he gets to decide where he gets traded to. Yeah and that's the that's the part of this. That doesn't add up. It's a guy who clearly is damaged goods for lack of a better term They can't the right term. Yeah they can't up to this point. Get a first round pick forms. Not only is he now not worth what he was when he came into the league but now he's also trying to dictate where it is that he's going to go play football next and as we discussed them. Hiring serianni was choosing whence over the coach. Who had just won a super bowl for us. So i think that was probably a smart move if you had locking from whence but why. They're going to lose both the cogen wentz and as much as i wasn't a huge peterson lover. I it's hard to think. He wasn't better than what we this unknown. That serianni right now that no one even knew. Let's be candid. No one knew his name. He wasn't like some super well-known hall coordinator. It was because he was with wentz. Think about it it was. He was not even with wins right but he was with right now. Most recently and reich was with went so this is i once removed. He was with went so they hire the guy and then we went says. Oh that's a nice gesture trade me and by the way i don't want to go to the bears and by the way make sure my check hits. Don't delay that check even one day. You know my whatever whatever million dollar check or whatever it is million forget that they get what sixteen game checks the way it goes to the nfl and he's making how much thirty four point seven. I'm gonna do math here. That's over two million two million a freaking week and he's just pointing in dictating. Where is it going to end jonas. You skeptical you thought. Who did i get a show. That was saying that two years ago having moved it directionally towards me on this. I mean i've always thought. Oh yes he said no. That can't be the answer. I've always felt that there is there. Is this thing in the media. Where i don't know if it's want more access or whatever it is but they're feels like a push to side with players at all costs and to me. I just think each situation is different in the case of deshaun watson. I don't understand how people are okay with what he's doing. It doesn't make any sense to me. I don't i don't get how he's getting a pass and carson wentz stuff is just bizarre that he still thinks that he can work in. It seems like it's apparently. Yeah 'cause where's it gonna end and i'll tell you this let's assume the wentz reporting is accurate okay. We can't be sure. But let's assume that first second i went is more egregious because you can make the following case watson had a monster year it was his best year. I think the case can be made behind aaron rodgers. You had the second best. You're better than mahomes out. If so it'd be a smidge it'd be small. But he's right there in the conversation. It's funny faz. Looks is a quarterback rankings. Like it's like the ten commandments there. you're ranking. you're looking going yes. I'm going to confirm that yes. That's your rankings. Watson is. His ceiling is so high. It wouldn't surprise any of us two years from now if watson was the best quarterback in the nfl right. I think well certainly with aaron rodgers hidden. You know in a you know. An age dragged to some point. I think the who knows right. Okay so the question is how much of a shortfall how short of the contract is carson wentz falling. Because you could make the case. Even with the jumbo contract watson exceeded it last year. And i also finish that comparison jones. In my opinion you could make the case. If you looked at it with you know your. I askew in squinted. Houston's changed a lot in the last year or so hasn't changed a lot since he signed the contract. But you know different coach. Jj watt gone. The owner passed away now. The sons there this. I'm having a mental block. The the The spiritual consultant valo jackie's easterby in and apparently having a huge influence you could also under the deceased owner. There was comments. I think fairly could be taken as you know racially insensitive so you but but since most of that if not all of it happened before watson signed the contract and the beginning of last year. I'm not sure how much of an excuse it is. But i think it helps the narrative little even though the timelines not obvious to most casual observers. The weinstein feels like. Here's a guy signed a jumbo contract. He played horribly. He doesn't connect with his teammates. Is seems and now he's making and we fired a coach over him and it still didn't size fine and now he's saying i'm going to one team at one team. Only tell me when it's done that in his in his that even for a fact i mean is there anything about that is like what it is right now. It's accurate and jones. You said i think they went access. Well we know in. You know better than me that if it is a b. writer if it is someone who's embedded in a way with the team that is a trade off they gotta make right and put out there. They'll put out stuff that they won out as long as they think it's true they're not gonna put out lies but in. Listen that's part of the game. It's gonna cry about that. You're gonna i cry about that. You're about everything. But i'm saying and i'm not talking about anyone in particular because over doing it. Why does national host x y z and. I'm not saying everyone though is. I haven't heard klay on this. Do we have any sense of where clay's out on this jones. I'm not sure. I think he's a guy that will go against the grain. It seem sometimes. Like i know doug god. Leaves been outspoken against the deshaun watson strategy. Okay yeah he's i'd i don't understand. He was outspoken against the draymond. Green strategy just this idea that that victimhood and all the other things that go along with it. It's no it's part of business. You signed a contract. What are we doing here. And we're gonna in in the draymond fits into this because the draymond situation fundamentally changes sports what he's saying and i'm not even saying that it doesn't have mary. It's but let's understand. what is he saying. I oh how much is carson wentz shortfall in the contract so we looked at it and we said i was carson getting paid next year or this is the twenty twenty cap. Hit thirty four point. Seven million. And then we compared to jared goff. Why gov because we know that gough was sent in staffer trade with a first round. Pick around his neck kind of like a coffee cake. You give your kid when you send him to the neighbors and they don't want him but you gotta get him out of the house for a couple of hours. That's what the first round pick was is and the question is. How does jared goff compared to his contract compared to wentz and whence thirty four point. Seven million gov twenty seven point eight now in physics ten commandments or thirty. Two commandments of quarterback ranking. He's got what wentz twenty it gov twenty-fifth so we ran. We ranked the quarterbacks last year. One to thirty two and said okay. What's the twentieth quarterback get. What's the twenty-fifth quarterback yet. Then we subtracted that number where they should be paying for that performance from the contract and this is what we got. Carson wentz's shortfall last year was twenty four million dollars from thirty four point seven verses the slot at number twenty. I think twenty's generous very generous. But okay jared goff shortfall twenty million carson wentz. His contract is three more years goff's too so literally by saying if they play like last year. Which would be the best year to tell us how they're gonna play. Carson wentz is seventy two million dollars overpaid the next three years. Golf is forty one million overpaid and goff. They had to give a first round pick along with him to take the contract but they're going to get what for once. Jonas is that analysis resonate with you. Yes it's it carson wentz. I would say right now. Jared goff is a better quarterback carson wentz. And i think that's true. Series certainly was one hundred percent. And even i. I don't know i mean how many Starters in the nfl from last season had worse years carson wentz by some stats none. That's meaning the qbr. You worship qbr twenty-seventh. Yeah so you just you're going on pedigree and listen yes. Part of pedigree matters right but if he had been find year before he wasn't i listen. We're going to continue this. Tie it in with draymond. Be sure to catch. Live editions of straight outta vegas weekdays at six pm eastern three pm pacific. I'm jonas.

Russell Okung's bitcoin salary could trigger more pro athletes to invest

"How about getting paid in bitcoin. We have our very first. Nfl player that wants to be a part of the revolution that wants to be a part of the hype that wants to be part of the future of money. As bitcoin people would tell you. Crypto currency the carolina panthers russell ah kong becomes the first nfl player to be paid in bitcoin and this is exclusively. Bitcoin fifty fifty. Okay and they actually. It's complicated. they had to go to the players. Union see if it was even possible or if it fit within the guidelines of whatever the player agreement is but also. It's not actually bitcoin. Coming directly from the organization to the player. There's a company called zap. And it's a startup. They have a product called strike and away strike works. Is it integrates with your bank account on your end and it integrates with whoever it is. Who's paying your salary. And what strike will do is immediately Create that conversion coming from the payment before going out to you and instead of processing it through the bitcoin network. They essentially front you the money so they can do it faster without the processing required through the network so they're an intermediary there I don't know they're kind of like a bank sort of their payment processor but and so this particular individual is not alone. There's there's been some more secretive athletes doing the same program including unnamed members of the brooklyn nets basketball team. You can probably guess who might be interested in brooklyn nets names like kyrie irving big internet guy. It's possible kevin durant on team as well Players from the new york yankees have begun on boarding to the program and so people are interested in the case of a kung. He'll be split. He'll be splitting his thirteen million dollar yearly salary fifty fifty between bitcoin. That's a big chunk. Bitcoin yeah he's i mean that's that's pretty smart. He distributed Did he do this like himself or do you think it's his like eight or man. No he's a real bitcoin guy and has been for awhile. Yep and Prior he i spoke about wanting to do this in two thousand nineteen but as mentioned was a complex process to get it cleared. Nfl into everybody involved and was into bitcoin. Even prior to that talking about Independence and not being tied to any one. Particular currency actually in enthusiast. Let me just break it down for you one more time. So strike says its processing into the seven figures monthly for volume and. They're not charging any money for that right now but eventually the idea is they would take a small piece right. And that's a tremendous upside if you onboard enough people to the process and it seems like they're attracting high profile individuals who don't want to have to manage those funds or to go straight to bitcoin themselves from their paycheck kind of makes the process easier transfers the bitcoin into cold storage on behalf of the individual. They don't even have to think about it. Touch it they can know that it's secure. It's a really interesting service. And they expected to grow amongst athletes and high profile individuals. We'll see how that goes. But

Washington beaten by Panthers, fails to clinch NFC East

"Took the captaincy from Dwayne Haskins this week. They gave it to chase Young today, and that was pretty easy to see why, in today's 20 to 13 loss of the Carolina Panthers. At times it looked like Young was trying to win this game all by himself. He registered to Sachi had a fumble recovery and forcing interception for Washington defense. Pitch the second half shut out. But of course, gave up 21st half points Chase. I feel like the defense. We just got a We got the You have to start faster earlier. I think that's the we can't wait to the second half to start fast, and that's something that we just know and something that you know we've been working on and we just got to get better at it. Yeah, but the offense didn't really help. They had four turnovers, three of which committed by Dwayne Haskins, who was benched in the fourth quarter in favor of Taylor. Hi, Nikki. And I'm sure his jersey sales about to go through the roof here is hey, looked pretty good in relief there in the fourth quarter, so coach Ron Rivera noncommittal about who will start under center for 69, Washington and Philadelphia next week with the NFC East title again on the line, the

NFL flexes Washington-Panthers to keep intrigue in Cowboys-Eagles

"Let's start with. The panthers and washington got moved to four zero five because they do not want the philadelphia eagles and the dallas cowboys to know that they've been eliminated if washington wins. They want the eagles and cowboys to still believe that. There's a chance dominated a chance during that game. So what do you got for. Washington carolina while for fantasy purposes It's well we're going to have to see who washington's quarterback is this week although rate before we got on on the podcasts. Here there was a situation involving dwayne haskins. Where their post on social media of of haskins Getting swag on at a at a strip club without a mask on look believe me. I know that there are Those are establishments where clothing is optional. but in the nfl masks are not right now. So washington is not going to be very happy about dwayne haskins. I think it was Tom pal sarab. Nfl network reporting that the team is handling that internally not happy. I'm sure. I think they want alex smith back this week. Anyway against carolina that would raise the ceiling of this offense. I'm still not one hundred percent. I as a matter of fact. I'm not confident at all antonio gibson playing this game turf toe is very painful so that should mean a big role for jd. Mckissic once again had a huge fantasy game last week against seattle. It was nice to see terri mclaren. Come alive in that game. A little bit with dwayne haskins at quarterback too good matchup against carolina. I would use him as a wide receiver. Three and over last month of the season only two tight end. Travis kelsey and darren waller have been targeted more have caught more passes and scored more fantasy points than logan thomas. He is a tight end. One now against the carolina panthers and i think everything would look better for washington if alex smith can play quarterback.

Building a 20 to 7 first half lead than holding off the Vikings in a 33 27 win quarterback Mitch too risky pass for 202 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy Football Forecast: One BIG THING you should know for every Week 2 matchup

"I sit out the way New Orleans versus Las Vegas raters. We saw New Orleans showcase really really solid, really great defensive performance against Tom. Brady and the buccaneers They were pretty on disappointed as a team, lot of penalties on their defensive side of the front. The saints rebel to take advantage of that. La Raiders played against the Carolina Panthers last week and gave up thirty points. It's very possible that New Orleans doesn't look as Resi as they did against a really solid defensive front in Tampa. Bay and they might have their way with a raiders team that is still kind of pretty young and trying to get their footing and all this stuff. They don't they had an injury to majority of their wide receivers in the last game. So Dan, Waller seems to be their only solid option. At the receiving side of things that might mean there in Waller's uptick in target's share and my means, he gets an ends on this year or this week maybe something good happens for him I'm buying all the stock now I'm Kamara right now for this game, this should be Alvin Kamara. KAMERA's two touchdown, a hundred yards from scrimmage plus game. This is this is the one I wouldn't see why would be any otherwise and to be quite frank. I think that a lot of players on seem to have a really big game and this would be a really fun game to see trae Kwan Smith. I'm going to bring them up again. This'll be a fun game Trey Smith. Look to be a solid. Relieving game just for brevity and sake of saving saints, fans of fantasy fans alike, some worry as to what the saints offense can look like without Michael Thomas Soaking up a lot of the defensive pressure. All right. So Fancy implications all over the place you know Josh Jacobs. This could be a really good test to see just how much they believe in Josh Jacobs as a pass catcher because I don't know how much he's going to be able to do in the run game considering New Orleans is when had and still does on one of the better run defenses in all the football. I think the best game. Pound for pound this week has to be the night game on NBC, where New England is playing against Seattle that they're going to be playing in Seattle New England the we have a kind of banged up cam and she says it's the there's no hamstring issue but. Of Most people are saying that he does, Kinda. Have a little bit of a hamstring thing going on and we'll see how that affects him with all read option stuff and what we saw from last Sunday's performance maybe we started to see cam throw a little bit more, and then we can really see just what this doing his offense really has to offer for them sure that bill will have them ready for whatever and we saw sea hawks offense that basically let Russell Wilson do what people have been asking. Them to let Russell. Wilson do for basically the majority of the back half of the dense. You know twenty seventeen was to let Russ Cook and Cook did Russell Wilson? Do He only missed four passes? He had A. Great amount of yardage great touchdown passes de que look. Nice at times he did have some drops of course, Tyler Lockett looked really good. Chris Carson looked amazing. In the past game. We had some really good screens run in for touchdowns. They got tight ends involved the plethora tight ends at the seahawks own and their defense was literally flying around all over the place. Now, there are a lot of garbage time touchdown stuff in that Falcons game that I'm not GonNa hold against the defense when it mattered. Jamal Adams and of course. Everybody else in that defense just looked phenomenal. They just looked physical. They looked like they were flying around and making plays they look very formidable as team very formidable. So. That is a game as the May have a lot of implemented implications on things so KEEP IN MIND I think one of the better secondaries in the League is New England's granted they played against. The, dolphins but they did not allow that many receptions or receiving yards at all for either receiver on the dolphins and Tyler Lockett, and care very athletic fast guys but. It's going to be tough. Is GonNa be a tough about we'll see what happens. They may have to change up the strategy of leading Russ Cook for this game in particular and work through the old tried and true run the ball and try to make something happen later on in the game. But for US Russell Wilson owners like myself I hope they just let him throw the ball a little bit more that'd be nice. That would be fun I think we'd all like to enjoy that. So moving on towards another game I think the Baltimore Game at four, twenty, five eastern standard time on CBS is going to be a good one, Baltimore versus Houston. This game can go I think Houston is a team that kid look Jacqueline Hyde and they've been jekyll and Hyde ever since the Shawn Watson is come on that team and. Not Sage. It's the Sean played bad last Thursday. But he definitely did not look comfortable one hundred percent of the time and you just was trying to make plays. His offensive line wasn't there fully stout at all and when it was time to just throw throw throw things Kinda got out of hand for Houston Houston can't be a team that gets to behind too quickly or else it is going to be nightmarish for the offensive line. And it's going to be a bad day for Shawn Watson even though he can make miracles happen at will while Samour's in perfect position to take on a team that showcase bad tackling display. So this is a team. So if this is the time where you want to be like, okay JK Dobbins, he didn't have that many targets but hey, he got two touchdowns in is the time to test out the JK Dobbins is going to be. The album? Kamara. To Marketing Rooms Mark Ingram. So we'll see what happens here Lamar he this seem doesn't tackle well, Lamar could have himself a anywhere closer to forty to fifty yards rushing easily against this team if he wants it, and of course, Mark Andrews is a guy who I would think would eat very well against the Houston team that allowed drivers Kelsey to get like five catches in the first half with ease marched up and down the field with ease Look to see how David Johnson looks in his second bout. David Johnson had a nice surprise of a Comeback Week one performance that a lot of people were speculating was possible and he delivered for the most part. So that was encouraging for many people to go ahead and see so I wouldn't. Put it past him to do it once again. That's really really against the I think that Brandin cooks is still a bit. So that would not be. Great for folks owners. And I would be looking at anybody who has. Willie snead Willie snead was all over the place last week and it was almost to a shocking amount of how much willie snead was dependent on and I said Willie snead. That was not who I meant to say I meant to say will fuller will fuller will around the field for the Texans last week and I would like to see him continue that stretch because that would be. Pretty awesome to be completely honest. I. Would like to see a will fuller healthy and showcasing that he is here to stay in this league and thus it would not make me feel nearly as bad for short.

Russell Wilson New Orleans Houston Willie Snead Willie Snead Tyler Lockett Willie Snead Russ Cook Shawn Watson Alvin Kamara Raiders Josh Jacobs La Raiders Brady New England Tampa Waller Seattle Trae Kwan Smith Chris Carson

"Ninety six to two thousand one. He just couldn't leave the bengals to shit but he was never. He's not a head coach coach. Yeah he was never horrible for them now. He can see north with the bengals more than once. He went to the playoffs. Like eight or nine times times. Yes he lost in the first round every time but that's the way life goes sometimes They went to the playoffs five years in a row. He did this in Cincinnati by the way Which is in the same division is Pittsburgh and Baltimore? That's an accomplishment and Cleveland. Don't forget about them. Well well they were competing for the playoffs but you know don't ever hate on Hoyer the destroyer the that is right but I think Marvin Louis be a good defensive coordinator currently a special advisor for her Arizona State and I I mean he's not working in the NFL right now so yeah I just worry that a guy like that is like it's like I have preferred to see David tepper throw like a million years ago. I would prefer to see David. tepper take the so. Do you guys remember when David was talking about Prior to firing Ron Rivera. WHO's talking about bringing in like a ton of different people and and like letting them all work together when it came to like scouting where it was like a bunch of different names in the room to talk about things and come to conclusions together? I almost kind Kinda Wanna see him bring in like a younger defensive coordinator like him be like the face like this is the order. This is the panthers defensive coordinator Google Guy but bring in like an assistant like a veteran dude. And they essentially be co defensive coordinators for a guy like Matt rule where. It's not like he's going to be coaching. The defense so filled with marvelous windows specialists exactly the defensive with regional manager or Wade Phillips or fill snow and Steve Steve Wilks or you get the point but I feel snow. Will you behind that. I can anybody for Monitor's coaching tree here anymore. We need they get all of that out here but how much. How much is I don't want to get on with this? But how much is Steve. Wilks you you know what I guess he was there with. Ron and San Diego is the bombs that doesn't it meant. Yeah you're right okay. Well Yeah I mean. I think that I am really really excited to see what they do with the defensive coordinator hunt because I liked how I liked how they did the head. Coaching and I feel like rule is going to bring that same way of going about things and I think the David temporal be involved there too so I feel like we're going to see several stories of people getting interviewed where it's not gonna be like. Oh this guy by default is coming in like you know when Ron Rivera went to Washington brought in every fucking coordinator ever had so out. Yeah we could. We talk about that. I want to talk about that thing. At the giants in the end watch Rod- Very Safran. His the failed last couple year Carolina. Coordinators what what panthers. It does matter. I don't know who it would be though. I mean I don't well it's that it's Sean Ryan. Yeah the line. Health coach lead the Lions quarterbacks coach. He was also new. New York's wide receivers coach in Odell Beckham Junior's rookie year. And he was the Texans quarterbacks coach into Shawn Watson's rookie year song resume and so strong resume and he didn't stick around longer though Well he you old he would left. mcadoo got fired. He left he leading your got fired. And then I don't know why he went from they tax ends to the lions but he might have gotten like an extra promotion or whatever. The ones do better quarterback Shawn Watson. Maybe that maybe. That's that is patently shirt. But Okay I WANNA on forty minutes into the show where it's very appropriate. But I think in general it looks like candidates resumes in their current positions when deciding whether or not they'll be good in a new position and it doesn't make any sense like people are talking about like when we were interviewing the enemy where it's like. Oh this is how much of the offense is his. It doesn't really matter matter. 'CAUSE we're not hiring us to be an offensive coordinator to be a head coach. It's a different job in Andy. Reid said he's he's ready to be a head coach. Andy Reid is is one of the probably four best head. Coach is currently employed in the league and a top ten coach. The last twenty five years he knows talking about and it hurts me. Say them because I hate Andy Reid. But he knows what he's talking about and then like with The guy from Detroit that I can't remember his name but it's like his resumes good but then it's like oh but he's at the lions lions offense wasn't good that you this year. Our backup quarterbacks weren't good and it's like but he's we're I'm not asking him to come in here and quarterbacks better asking him to come in here and like run an offense like the best way without actually having them in in that current job or anything else like that the best way to get a feel for how good they'll be their job is to sit down and talk to them and interview ask about their philosophy. We don't really guessing. Yeah exactly we're we're we're guessing based on their past production which which honestly Ryan does have the fact that Matthew Stafford was pretty fucking good this year before he got hurt so he was having a career year hurt. I mean he he. He's Kinda like like Andy. Reed's coaching tree. It seems like wherever he goes. He's successful and I think if you you can be successful in more than one place. Then you're probably successful like there's a chance that you're pretty good at what you do. That's the only unreal counterpoint. There is to John's point which is correct. I'm not going to say the wrong John but the the only thing you can look at outside of like sitting down with them and talking with them is how productive. They've been at the job. They were given where they work directly responsible or indirectly responsible for two of the greatest this rookie seasons. We've seen in the last fifteen years. Yup with O B J and into Shawn Watson. So I mean it's it wouldn't be the worst higher now certainly not an honestly an upgraded offensive coordinator is somebody who doesn't call a power trap on first and ten on the first play of the game every God damn time plus sometimes you have to remember the two that some of the best offensive coordinators. Come from places where you wouldn't expect them to. I guess like a good example. ZAMPA Byron left which for the buccaneers yet. Another good example His name is escaping me but the cowboys offense coordinator from this past season Calvin more. Yeah Kellyn more like those. Were just two guys who were really worth a whole lot like it kind of becomes your all your head coaches ability to scout talent at that point and I wouldn't be surprised for him to see him higher like I. I don't know Jimmy Clausen to be his offense coordinator like as much as everyone would probably be like what the fuck with that. Belykh a former quarterback to work with the offensive offensive coordinator or I should say a head coach. Who has an offense background? I wouldn't hate that. You Imagine Jimmy Clausen Being Cam Newton's offensive coordinator. Just imagine those two shitting shitting on the sideline thing ever Cam. Newton is ridiculous hat with Jimmy Clausen in like coaching outfit. Likes going over. Plays on a fucking tablet like my God. I would pay money to see that. That would be great. I mean a bit. It would work. They would. I mean he fits the profile of the guys. Brian's named of like washed up quarterbacks that were like not to do I mean those you can't do teach and he could not do remember sued each just because those quarterbacks were bad doesn't mean they don't understand the game is is nine thousand six hundred ten. The best coaches are the ones that were either mediocre or bad as players. Yeah because there's like an element of you had to overcome overcome like athletic limits not limitations but disadvantages compared to competition. And you could rely on story like Steve Kerr was is a three point specialist literally the only thing he can do. He's a good coach. Michael Jordan would be a terrible coach because it tell them as just go out there and dominate this. Go Be Michael Jordan. Just go do it. I have about hard fun. Random bit we can end the show with unless you wanted to discuss anything else. John Wants to talk about the Washington and giants hires because we deserve to ridicule.

"Google who is the coach of the Carolina Panthers Role is head coach of the Carolina. Panthers Damn writing is Google Jason Talk Soon. Hello Welcome to the inaugural twenty twenty. Keep sounding podcast coming right off. The News of the panthers finally hiring a new head coach. After how many years of Ron Rivera here we are. It's twenty twenty. It's a new year. It's a new US John. How are you doing this evening? I'm fabulous Brian rates. How're you I would say that I rule right now I was one I was thinking if there is a lady ed in there but yeah 'cause I rule Brad how are you? I'm great good good so I guess to really. There's no the real way to enter this without talking about the new head coach. We just found out about. Obviously Ron Rivera was fired. At the end of the season we are talking. Talked about that in our last podcast and we took a little hiatus. Because I think we all kind of leaders are sanity for the holidays and it wasn't like it was any different with will greer in there with instead of Kyle Allen like the panthers still suck they still there. Rush Defense still sucked. Coaching still sucked at mad. At Ron wasn't awesome here settled pick. Anybody would have listened to podcasts over the last like four weeks of the season just because it was the exact same thing every week and it was meaningless and it was extra meaningless because every knowing L. A.. Coaching Staff is going to be gone. So it's not like there's like. Oh let's see what kind of like young guys are to build off of because the main ones like yeah. I mean the only thing that we could have talked about positive would have been Christian. McCaffrey J. Mortgage and yeah. Yeah that's pretty much all we've talked about. Yeah Yeah and I know that there have been times in our in our times as the podcast where we've been a little repetitive. Headed of talking about things but it literally would have been no different from week to week because the panthers run defense suck. They couldn't do anything other than get the ball to Christian. McCaffrey their quarterbacks ex-workers and so it is to the colts because we gave up to punt return touchdowns. Yeah that was a new one. We could've bitched about that for a while but I apologize because if you did want to listen to US pitch about the panthers I I do apologize but it got to a point. Wait where we message each other and be like. Hey we want to do podcasts. And just wouldn't work out schedule wise and even that. I don't think any of US really willing to push our schedules for seeing our loved ones friends and family talk about. How much Kyle Allen Sucks each week? So we'll talk about. How much will greer sucks to different? That's true but it's it's a new year. It's a new US and the panthers went into the off season. They interviewed a ton of candidates. It was actually kind of Nice to see them be a little little reserved with how they went about things. They interviewed Mike. McCarthy several times interviewed Eric Enemy. Several Times I don't know how many times times they interviewed rule. I missed one once yet. One just life changing interview with Flo throw funny. You say that went to his house. Like that's servers Jerry Jones. Yeah Yeah I'm not GonNa make a sexual Tom So I will say that I remember. I saw reading somewhere that David tepper decided halfway through the interview that he was going to hire role yes. He told the local media that today that he in the middle of the interview it went from a job interview interview to a planning session. On how to recruit coaches and medical staff and training staff than analysts and and etcetera era and it became it was no longer a job interview. It was as he called a planning session and that he knew halfway through that that's who he wanted on it that he went from being a candidate to the candidate within however many hours they were. They're not GONNA make sex. Joke connects you. Okay I can understand why though because here in like the little snippets that popped up on twitter since this news broke. Merrill sounds exactly. Is that like what David tepper would create if you could go on a lab and create his ideal head coach. Yes he's got the he's all about toughness and he's got that old school like gritty mentality. But he's all about analytics as much as I hate that. We're all about using like height weight. Speed be athletic measurements to find prospects that might be under the radar. He's about sports science and development. And all this stuff that like it's like NBA coaches talk about a kind of use that analogy earlier today in the comments section but NFL thing. And I think one thing that encouraged me about the using measurements and stuff. It's not it's not necessarily that. They're going to say well this. This guy ran a four point three five forty and instead of four point three eight forty. We're GONNA draft him. He did one. He mentioned one thing that there was a guy when he was at Baylor that they all the other schools that were trying to recruit him wanted him to play offense Ab- line and they looked at his measurements and his his speed. And all that and they were like you know this guy would be perfect as a defensive Lineman so they recruited him and put put him on defense and he was one of their better players. So it's Kinda like at deal where you know. The combine has a guy that's slated as a a cornerback. But Matt Rule looks at him. He looks at his measurements. And says you know this guy would be much better as a safety so less draft him as a safety You know it's not necessarily just looking at like what has measurements Asia or it's looking at that. Plus what would he be better suited at playing even if it's not what he has played in the past or is supposed to play. I don't think bring that correctly but I going to say it's Kinda add onto that is like there's a difference between what like draft twitter and people do where they're like. This forty yard dash is unacceptable or acceptable or example. Yeah Yeah Yeah had one bedroom where there is. There is value in looking at athleticism as total attribute all of the drills in their totality. You just bad athlete that that's a problem. You have everything else. You can mess Roussin Golden as the easy example and and and that's where the this stuff comes in where if you have a certain measurements that profile better for different positions or whatever or to be used a certain certain way the seahawks are doing with decay metcalf yes. Three cone drill was terrible. Well then don't put him in a position to have to use that. Just take on the outside of the former on the nine routes and let him dominate corners. I mean and that's what he does you know. Throw the FE two from the twenty yard line. Fine I mean it's you don't have to excel at every drill to be draftable draft twitter. I guess to outline what Brad Johner getting into here for any of the people here who listen who aren't super keen on the draft or what goes into it essentially what it sounds like Carolina has gone after finally is someone who it takes the NFL athletes that are in in college and looks at what they could translate to in the NFL rather than what they can be right now. which is something that is an old school mindset of drafting because most of the time nowadays athletes who come out of college not nearly as ready as they would have been for the NFL back in the day not just because the NFL's more athletic not because it's not just because the NFL is more offensive driven now because there's just a lot more shit people can do these nowadays holidays so and I'm GonNa go ahead and tell you now when you're if you're listening to this when when you're in the draft process don't even think about falling in love with prospects unless there? Brian Burns you know especially after about the second or third round. We're going to draft some crazy. We asked people that you never would have thought. And at first you're going to be like But it's it's not GonNa be ah like Edmund. Could Bela like somebody you've never heard of but we're going to draft like a really fast linebacker from you know North West Illinois Illinois tech or something and you're gonNA at first you're gonNA be like who in the hell is that guy but just let it play out give it a chance and let it. Let's see what the results are before we get mad. I think a lot of the stuff he says it's tied into basketball again. Sorry don't follow basketball but the Hornets new New head coach is in the second year. James Borrego I see a lot of parallels in the things. They say not terms of like instilling a culture and and then using a certain and methodology to to grow players and like melda system around the talents of their players. And if anybody does if he has no position the Hornets majorly over achieving this year with much young players that are rapidly getting better. They can't inc right. There's there's there's good and bad in that but I I think that's kind of what. The optimistic outlook on on rule is is that guys are gonNA come in here and there's GonNa be a system and they're all going to buy because he seems to be really good getting the kids to buy an hopefully that translates to older adults and those plug into the system will be used in a way that bets vis their ability as opposed goes to having a rigid system in place and trying to plug in players there whether it fits their talent or not. Yeah the good news is is. You're not gonNA see Eric Reed covering wide receivers like Micheal Thomas deep down the field anymore. Because you know he can't really do that The Good News is that Colin Jones. We'll probably get a shot at running back after do that. You know up because I mean I'm sure he saw the fake punt. I'm sure he saw how he fought for that yards on the job. I mean come on the athletes. Exactly he wants speed. And what does Colin Jones have. He has speed that's always got but he's got aspect but you know there. There is a fear that his his tactics and his methods will not work with grown men who have millions of dollars and that it. It only works with impressionable college kids but there is also the.

"The field on us at scoring which that when when you see that that's when you go home eighteen sucks when the guys get because that's what we've seen our defense for the past five years teams can just draw down the field goal in house will yeah they do that here you know the teams Albany able to do that with us this year defense played very well we had a lot of weird looking a formations as usual always throw in something different in their fund Watch but gotta give props to our defense for I mean you've got to figure seven turnovers seven turnovers and would they they scored twenty points off a seven turnover rush I mean that's incredible we kept on the field goals and you know just really did a great job or punt it in the first the first interception they got the ball on our thirty one twenty nine they got the ball and are twenty nine that I play where James Winston through the interception they lost two yards on four play wow coming they ended up with a negative two yards on that drive and they ended up having to kick a thirty one yard fuel go the next interception they got the ball on the thirty six on Tampa Bay's we six they scored a touchdown in four plays in they got a fumble and had the punt it was three now the Nagata interception on our eight yard line in one play touchdown then there was a muffed punt the got the ball on our seventeen they lost four yards on that play met four yards and that drive ended up now the gained six yards on because of the penalty on tape back but they ended up kicking a field goal from Tampa eleven got the ball into seventeen teen ended up kicking field goal from eleven to our defense held him there and then they got an interception on the Tampa Bay twenty four and four down they got one yard and then they kicked it crazy yeah yeah our our defense really did a good job and are run defense is just seriously no joke there was one towards the end of the game they were running the ball and we had a lineup this was so awesome to see we had Shaquille this was on the defensive line we had Shaquille Barrett Nacho We'll Golson detail the macabre sue and Nassib on the line they couldn't go anywhere I mean I'm pretty sure that every single run was attacked for long we were just blowing up definitely yeah it was really neat but yeah our our offense just crapped a bed in a large part Abbott was Jameis Winston that's what will cost us the game you know and you want to say just logically say well Carolina's defense played really well I didn't see anything moral Edison did good he he did okay he did he couldn't do much against Donald Smith Smith played really well I think there was one he he got beat one time we're having a baby and data and decide that he was starting because who else was GonNa Start Zach Bailey and he broke his ankle in practice how Josh Wells had like one day of practice before they leave to go to London and what surprised me about that was is that they didn't give him a lot of help interesting did keep tight ends there apparently in the running backs were really no help at all in being honest yeah it was pretty bad to run backstage a lot of stuff they've looked really confused now that's where if I were to give the Carolina Panthers Defense Credit I'm GonNa give it to what's their defense coordinators name Ashington the panthers this yeah Washington okay he did a good job of showing a lot of different looks confusing Winston for sure but the runback say they got confused as to who they're supposed to block a lot so I would I would give them credit for that but as far as like you know what Jimmy Jones Matchups and everything they didn't they didn't beat our offensive line so that's why I would say that the Carolinas defense really impress me what impressed me was the coaching that was that was pretty good you know just all the different looks and the confusion that they got are not our offense line Winston in the runningback for past protections concerned what did you think about their coverage that was pretty good but she no like I said when in had plenty of opportunities to make great passes there was there was quite a few instances if you WANNA go look at video where he had guys wide open Gokhale who right but that's also bad for the secondary of Carolina to have guys that wide open we don't have guys at White Oval we used to but rare now if we have guys wide open it's usually on the linebackers Kevin Minter so yeah the secondary did not the secondary of the panthers did just weren't wasn't that great they they had a lot of busted coverage on us because we had way too many has lot open and if Jamie's wisdom would keep his feet still ground popular bit but keep his head Downfield we wouldn't want this game easy even with the seven turnovers because there were so many times like I said there was five times five times where he had open receivers downfield and I'm not talking about check bounds I'm talking about guys blazing down the field wide open for touchdowns generally there's three or four of those but and again we lost by eleven points yelling neither hit two of those for touchdowns is to change that game like Scotty Miller and we talked about this last podcast just stop throwing the ball Scotty Miller changed my mind on that okay open he wouldn't see him a couple times he blazed down the field and just beat all the coverage and he was wide open and dame's Winston was either running around taken with his head cut off or just didn't see them at all at through somebody else I think Scotty Miller is going to be an asset of this team fast fast Janus has just got to get the to him Davis wisden needs to stop worrying about pressure he's he's too dependent on his feet and I think this goes along with what Bruce Ryan says about him trying to be superman he's not trying to be superman by throwing the ball you know he's trying to be superman with his feet I guess you'd call it the flash then instead of superman but we need to really really really start working on keeping his eyes downfield scanning the field keep his body in in constant Asian to throw that ball bounce around that pocket you know the only run out of the pocket when it's a last resort because almost every time he got tackled it was because he ran in to a defender almost every time you know what was the most annoying to me watching him scramble was that he often ran the guy who just had to stick his arm and it was especially like there would be our offensive lineman between that defender Angie and James runs past Argh I so our guy doesn't have the momentum anymore rock the leverage so the guy he's blocking around means at Leans Alvarez Yeah that the Journal McCoy sack the the one I was talking about where you put all the way onto James Wisdom when he sank Jameis Winston had no reason to run out of the pocket I don't know why did he runs right beside Donald Smith who's got his control but he runs right by him in it was seventy-seven kyle love reaches out and grabs hold of Winston Winston gets out of his grasp spins around backwards in Ron's back into the pocket with up I don't I don't know what that was all about and runs smack DAB into Gerald McCoy he's he's got to learn to calm down stay in the pocket you know only out in last resort or if you know you're going to pick up good yardage you'd have with this running you know he he's not running across the line of scrimmage he's trying to get out of the pocket you know to me right he usually runs to the left I think usually what spin he spends to the left but you know he's not doing that you trust your blockers act if you get hit then let it be that's their full you know but you know this guy because what he does what he scrambles as he puts the ball down he puts his it down and he starts looking around in the pocket he's not looking downfield anymore and these guys are getting open a couple of things I wanna point out our defense never ever gets tricked this is an issue I have for years with the buccaneers and there was a bootleg or fake fame bit every time especially Gerald McClellan especially during McCoy they bit every time when now never ever they they are probably some of the football smartest people I've ever watched the whole defensive line keep their eye on that ball and they they never get fooled you know there might be one guy every now and then get full but the rest of them are they're running right to the the ball so that's really impressive to me Adama con Su he never gets called every now and then he'll try to come in to he likes to coming back in the grabbed from behind so get full doing that but beat avail hardly gets fooled sue Harley gets fooled check Barrett never gets this is you're going to get one great play a game from all the games I watched him with Denver you're GonNa get one great play a game and he never makes mistakes now this is six games in I have yet to see him make a mistake that is a grantable God doesn't make mistakes he always keeps contain he always is in the right spot the right time it's I've never seen anything like that you know a guy that never makes mistakes get picked up by day sunlight gotta yeah definitely nother interesting thing Vida love this game he loves this team to he is always on the sideline when offense is out there jumping up and down hooting and Holler and then just so excited that little thing that whole thing where he flexes his arms damn buys and every me see get a glimpse of the sideline look for Vida you're going to see him he's going to be near the ball if it goes out of bounds or whatever and he's gonNA run over and congratulate guys not I mean he's just got a lot of Ryan Smith Okay we all know that he got that ball on the one yard line on special teams after the punt we all know he's the one that popped out the ball got the turnover on the I think it was a yeah the punt that we kicked Carolina he came up behind the gap pop the ball and we recovered it almost every special teams play he was doing something like that it was we talked about this last year with him he's just a great special teamer way he does so I I have I think one put in the video where he just blows Rotman I mean just knocks him out of bounds on his ass and the guy's just totally taken out of the play but he's he's he's very very good special teams he's always around the ball he's always blocking his guys he's doing what he needs to do and plus so hit four good special teams play yes that's impressive very impressive considering we haven't had worse with James Winston scrambling now a couple of times he did scramble outside the pocket do okay that's the problem he'll do okay on some of these sometimes migrate plays you know when he scrambles but then there's those times which is the majority of time where it's just not a good idea he would be so much better off if he didn't put concrete blocks uh-huh beat him stay in that pocket because those few good players that he makes gives him this false sense that he can be productive scrambling and encouraged him to do it more right and I think there was a stat I don't know if it was last year or this year there early part of this year where Jacobs wisdom was rated one of the highest quarterbacks outside the pocket yeah that was the last year last year right so you know you hear that stuff and you go oh well you know it's a good idea for me to run outside the pocket no it's not it'd be different if he did Aaron Rodgers ABC's Aaron Rodgers eras runs out of the pocket all the time but with Aaron Rodgers runs outside the pocket he always keeps his feet set he keeps the ball cocked and he's always looking down but he's never looking at the guys coming at him he's never looking really even weird ron he's just but you know he's if you see somebody open as he's scrambling he can zip quick right and he if he doesn't find somebody open then he decides to run right yeah yeah does it do that with an only throws the ball away when he's get clobbered try to throw it out of bounce but yeah just about every badly you can think of Winston was because he scrambled out of the pocket when he didn't didn't have to and like I said it's in the video you could see it many a times where while he's got the ball down lost in this one yeah and Bruce Arians did say when he gets hurt hit early it kinda throws them off and that's what happened this game he gets rattled I thought he played better. You know when I watched the broadcast version I thought Winston played better in about mid third quarter in the fourth quarter played better but then watching the the coach now eden he was banned the whole game well as wasn't as I pass and inner Shen yes but he hasn't got hit at that point so I don't understand how him getting hit early effective that seems to me would punt return you should maybe return a punt every now and then or at least catch the ball that one he fumbled he did everything wrong long that you're not supposed to do when you feel the punt everything took his eyes off the ball he caught it on the side of his body outstretched czar yes sir arms who was ridiculous yeah yeah I'm not upset about getting cut here's one I think he should and they told him not to leave and he left anyway that's when Dirk cutter to cut us off and they called him on the phone and they were like you do this that's going to wrap it up for US till next time go backs.

"Thursday he was full participation wide receiver Rabeni Fowler remember. Are we looking at the depth chart and we're like okay. He's like they're number. Two are there other starter. He suffered burn. A hamstring injury did not practice Thursday so they're wide receiver our already weak then cody lattimore another receiver fever concussion hasn't practiced all week. Sterling Shepard had the concussion that he suffered week one that was a little controversial because they sent him back in He has limited Wednesday Full Participation Thursdays. We might see him and then Daria Slayton. Another wide receiver had a hamstring injury. He's he's been limited this week. Cornerback Grant Haley has had an illness. He didn't participate Wednesday but full participation on Thursday mm-hmm guard Kevin Zeitler had a shoulder injury didn't participate Wednesday but he's a full participant on Thursday rules out definitely. We don't know definitively until Friday manning's. I wonder if they'll be the number two. Was He riding the bench or are they. GonNa inactivate them. I would imagine it'd be number. Two Jones Socks bench him. Put Eli back in did you you see Cam. Newton hasn't been practicing because he's got sore sissy boned and we heard his pride we heard it broke his pride and half a they were asking Vera about it whether he was going to be the starter dizzy and Ron variables saying but we don't know yet. I'll have more information for Friday. I want to talk about the Arizona game and they kept asking him questions. He ended the press conference. He said I'm not GonNa do this and he walked out things. Things are looking good for the panthers happening early. We call that so good. I wonder how much of our podcast spent spent patting ourselves on the Bat. When you get a win. Just take it run with it. I hope people don't get tired enough. I don't I don't either so let us know. Should we congratulate ourselves too much. Did we talk too much about our prognostications. It's fun. It's that's one of the best things about about sports. If you ask me the whole prognostication figuring out future talent you are prognosticate astronomical of do that with every damn I live too much in the future of been trying to live in the present. Have I dunno tomorrow all right. That's GONNA wrap it up for us. Begin coming up Sunday Sunday. Be Nice to get this win. We're GONNA get it. Molly in Iowa both predicted the giants are going to take a beatdown really the key to the game. Everybody knows we know that they know it just stops Barclay because that's really all they got. We're GONNA do it. We're going to be two and one still retain the division title for the moment. I would love to see the Carolina. Panthers enters get beat by the Arizona cardinals. Oh me and like instinct collapse. I think I think they are instant classic now. It's just a yeah. I think that would speed it up a little bit. I think cardinals they tied one game and then I don't know with a record as otherwise all those positive vibes out there. Everybody think think thank focus. Were beating the giants. Were winning the division. Everyone our division is gonNA lose. Everyone division is GONNA lose. All three of our division. Asian opponents are having a weight games this week. Carolina is going to Arizona to play the cardinals. Atlanta is going to Indianapolis to play the colts and the saints are going to Seattle the play the seahawks well. AM theoretically the Falcons should beat the colts in the panthers should beat the Arizona Autocar does but I don't think so. I think the cult's I mean the the cardinals are going to be Carolina. Think seahawks are going to beat the Saints Falcons a culture. I don't know if they look like a tough team except for their offense so anyhow. Let's beat the giants until in Galax..

"I'm just GonNa let him have his moment which he did not get what good did not get a point out a couple of plays here for play the game cap of toss. McCoy till the ground and then capital in McCoy win at it just about the whole game I think McCoy was wave seventy two percent of the defensive snaps so he was into quite a bit. He exclusively went up against kappa. He thought he was going to be able to be kappa because because you know cap is the new guidelines now didn't happen happen one time where he be kappa and you know it was basically. McCoy's speed I. I'm not sure if McCoy the whole line was crashing right eight and it looked like Capela started to and then he realized McCloy was going to be able to get in between everybody so he tried to get McCoy wasn't able to do it but of course McCoy gets in the backfield Mrs tackle typical typical yes but that happened a couple times. I pointed that out in the video to record missed tackles in the backfield. He's just not a good tackler but then one time time Allie more pet went up against McCoy and it wasn't because choice McCoy lined up. That's not tacklers straight over the center in everybody shifted went right right and McCoy had to go up against Moore pen. He wishes he didn't because Marquette Pancakey top of like see because because that was a big thing when we first got mar- bed everybody's talking about in training camp how Marquette just abused McCoy McCoy avoided more pet all night long. He wanted to go up against Kappa Kappa Napa man handling all night long especially considering that you know McCoy is supposed to be an elite defensive tackle to let a basically a first year starter. You'll get the best of y'all all game. I have to say kappa won that match up it was interesting though when you got a chance to take on McCoy he did two main I mean he just stood him up splendid around throwing right to the ground laid on top but Jensen was shoving everybody you know McCoy got all pissy and got that flag lag because Jensen was pushing jets was doing that to everybody after almost every play and like I said the last podcast for five or six plays right after that incidents sits with Gerald McCoy where he got flag gave us a firsthand fifteen yards on our game winning drop he Jensen right after that it was like five or six plays in a row where where he got in a tussle with Carolina Panthers fans or PA- Carolina Panther players after the whistle where he he was just chopping. Him Put his hand out pushing now great. I pointed out some good some good meanness on both of our offense defensive lines in the video and back all said challenged the offensive line to be the mean s unit on the team so maybe they're shaping up to be that way. Although I gotta say they've got a high bar that defense. Those guys are mean even bull. Allah was getting into it. He was throwing out of the room. I like there was one that sue grabs a pratice sixty one the Carolina Panthers free agent signing their new center center. Yeah he just got beat okay but to grabs a Pereira's blocks him in a play goes to the other side of the field and so soon predecessor locked up up and sues looking downfield not even paying attention to sixty one sixty. One Sixty one's blocking everything a suit. Graham tow just tosses him to the ground like he's a the bag of potatoes a love that so yeah. Donald Smith been playing well no loafing. He's been keeping his head on a swivel. If anybody needs help he's going over and helping yeah I mean he's pushing guys out of the way our broad game is our run. Blocking is spectacular. It's a really really good. I mean these guys are not getting hit in the backfield at all at all. I mean are running. Back are getting to the line of scrimmage and there's generally a pretty big hole if you notice mar running backs are getting stopped by the linebackers. That's a good sign Gerald coin beat. OJ Howard on a block and tackle the I think goes peyton Barbara for a loss that was right now. Okay might have been Roja tackling. that was about one of the only ones where are running backs were getting hit behind the line of scrimmage and that was just stupid. Why would you put. OJ Howard on Jerem Coyne. I'm GONNA say this. OJ How're is not very good blocker Kurt. He's had a few good blocks any hand block on the game on the game winning touchdown Bob Barber but generally don't have man. He's got to step up his blocking doc in skills he I would say he's the blocker on the t really and then you know Donald Smith is playing through the whistle loafing plan to the whistle which is what being you talked about they they need to do in. We talked about last podcast video. Put out that you know James Winston you happy feet. He's not reading the field. He didn't have that this game. He had eh one instance where he got happy feet you could say to it was really interesting. In the one one instance he got happy feeding started running. You could see him realize what he was doing and he stopped and we sat planted his feet in the pocket getting ready to run out of the pocket really fascinate. You could see something clicked anybody would know. I'm doing this thing that I shouldn't be doing. He ended up getting and sack but it was good sack. It was one of the sax where you need to try to do some stupid and then he had another play later. I think it was in the fourth quarter where he started running around when he shouldn't having again. Both sects were his fault but I think I remember one of those inside. That's exactly where you yes. I think he was really close to the end zone own. I can't remember specifically but it takes sex that he had made a really dumb decision there well on the one play. This is in the videos well the one place he got the happy feet any realize oh. I need to stop doing this set his feet in the pocket he had both Mike Evans and Chris Cowan Wide Open down the field to Mike Evans win would have been a touchdown. That's down. There was one where he threw his hand up. He was gone. He'd beat his guy. He was but Winston get a chance to throw it to him because he get sack. I mean he at the time. I don't know why didn't do it. Curse Curse Godwin was open from GEICO did seal but other than that Winston played very well. I mean there wasn't a whole lot of him. Not Seeing open receivers down the field. They didn't get happy feet a lot so you know Kudos to help to. I've been saying this for a long time that I think his vision van. Some on twitter broke adrift of him like squinting at stuff. You never know maybe he needs to get those shields. The prescription started wearing last year. I I think you did well when he was wearing yeah. Is he still somebody in the comments that he got contacts in two thousand seventeen or something like that there was a girl in my high school who were contacts and she played soccer and got hit in the head with a ball and the contact lens went to the backer. I eyeball me yeah so I I can't imagine that it might have been totally freak accident and she had to wear the big goals for the rest of the year when she played but but it doesn't seem like if that's going to happen in soccer I can't imagine what it happen and football. I've seen a few blaze where guys have gotten hit in their context takes. Komal leave the game. You'll see him looking around the ground and then eventually they just all this stupid okay partly or they. They'll be on the sideline squirting stuff in there. I try to I had it another story time. I used to wear contacts and I had it kind of suctioned at the top of my wall. I just lost the contact that I couldn't find eh event like thirty minutes later slid down my eye and I was like oh I can see again. Thankfully I've never had to wear contacts. I did wear contacts went to dragon con convention down in Atlanta in a these contacts that were like made your is completely wider. I can't remember or maybe they thought they were going to dark. Put those in and that was tough. I actually looking really tore of that. Night fell asleep with a win the next day. I was like what is in my eyes so yeah. They're ready to wear context thankful for that. molly ended up getting lacy doesn't have to wear contacts anymore now that was interesting at Lasix Surgery Center and Watan good grief. I thought it was just you know they shoot a laser in there. The dog cut your eyeball. I can watch it and they gave us a flash drive with the surgery on it and I was like no never watching that one the largest burn this now. They had a lady there with video care where videoing in narrating explaining everything that's going on is really cool so everybody's playing well. On. Every one definitely looks like they're trying to make a play. They want to make a play. There was one. I think it was hargreaves. There was slant going and Hargreaves got beat all day on this lanes. It's something we're going to work on but I I think I want to say it was hargreaves but he he dove for the ball to try and knock it down or that goes one of the ones for eighty eight. Olson in he dove and missed it and also ended up picking up yardage plays like that. I'm like I will never get upset about that. You know he tried Friday dove for it. It's the ones where they're not even trying that are infuriating yeah where they got their head turned around and looking at the catches the ball the jump at his feet and he just runs and they love contact her head towards a blocker speaking of that there was one play. I pointed this out in the video would would Labonte David with one of the reasons why I love David because he used to be excellent at getting awful blocks he was able to unblock for first couple years as what made him in elite linebacker her in there is one play the right tackle pulls and he comes over to the left and is delete blocker for McCaffrey well. He just happens happens to pull where LEVANTE DAVID IS COMING UP L. Avantis David toxic shoulder benzes legs puts his shoulder into that guy. I know that got all the breath had to have gone out of him and he almost lifts him off his feet and then gets a piece of McCaffrey as he runs runs by it was great. I mean here. It is a big three hundred pound right tackle trying to block Levante..

"Ali Bay. Today is September nineteenth two thousand nineteen we you got a game Sunday against the New York giants at Four O. Five PM week three in the NFL season count you gotTa stop that Chicago Barkley Getting New Rookie quarterback to feast on and spend sell long since we had a new game. Yes it has been seems like forever. It's almost like the a preseason or like oh by league committee by week. We've got the Tennessee Titans in jags plan tonight which initially I was like. I don't WanNa Watch that Josh but then I realized that we play both these teams this year and we'll see humphries see how he's doing. He's not doing so. He hasn't gotten any he passes thrown his way. Let me look up the stats real quick on that yes in week one against Cleveland he had five yards receiving and then against Indianapolis in week two. Oh he had to targets he caught both of them but gained negative one yard so he's been a complete non factor for Tennessee. What's record one one one yeah they'd lost Indianapolis Seventeen Nineteen. They beat the browns forty three to thirteen us so I gets you doesn't have the chemistry with markets allegheny heaven. Jameis Winston does not something well. It's GonNa be interesting to see how they're using him night. I've got Jacksonville's new new quarterback Sanca Porn Star Gardner minhsiu. Maybe that's why I like him and got. Dj Chart and my FLEX WCHS so this'll be interesting all new it is a bold move is an off year for me. Ralph's tired of winning at CNN seeing so he's trying to give the rest of us is not like if I win and he was going to quit so I think that we should just swap teams and then no one on now you control mine team. Control your team. We'll no no now because one hundred dollars. You just put it all out there. All right got the video review done of the Carolina Panthers game the video will it'll be up by the time you listen to this podcast. I wanted to have it out by like Sunday. I thought that because it was a Thursday night game they would have the all twenty two coaches film out by Saturday Saturday or so he didn't so it kind of screwed up my week and finally got it done today when they actually got it out later than they normally do and then they didn't have all the clips it was they were missing. A lot of the Carolina Panthers offensive plays so that caused a pileup anyhow it'll be out by the time he listens podcast. Go check it out on Book News Observer done. Her buccaneers observer on Youtube but with the data saying that I'm so proud of your videos I love them and I'm glad that you're putting in and out there because you've always show the games like this but then you're putting it out there for the world to see how you want to football game trying to get back the unique perspective one football. We'll thank you yeah like like I say the start of all those videos to me. It's not XS XS and os as as much as it is the Jimmy's and Joe's I like to watch the little things the guys fighting tripping falling mustard glaze heck. I would like to see who celebrates together to me. I think those are more important than the actual XS and Os. It's one of the problems I have with the game by sports. Madden it boiled the football football down to a lot of people think it's all scheme and it's also another problem. I have with fantasy football too because it's gotten fan bases to think that you can just take a a player that scores this many touchdown say wide receiver escorts as many touchdowns plug them into your team and he's GonNa score that many touchdowns. It's just not how it works. I mean we're all human players awesome team or human. There's got to be dynamics between the guys. We don't like somebody else going to mess up the whole team Bubba. This is a lot there. I think the human element limit is such an overlooked aspect of football. I believe a really do so. It's like when Ba came in and he's talking about changing the culture. He didn't say we all did but that's kind of what we're talking about hand. If you could see it you could see it in these first two games. These guys is are wanting to make plays. Everybody on the field is trying to make a play. There's no loafing. There's everybody's playing through the whistle their physical. It's totally different than anything anything. We've seen what data in the with the buccaneers since two thousand twelve two thousand thirteen those were the only two years I can think of where we had a physical team and guys has played hard through the whistle so he has changed the culture already one of the problems we had with Donovan Smith since he's been with the buccaneers is the fact looks too much and he doesn't play to the whistle but I can say this in these past two weeks. Donald Smith done neither of those. He's played to his contract which just south phenomenal because during the preseason we were complaining even more than usual about him because we were scared that we gave him all that money and he was just going to base as we give off but he hasn't. He's played very well. I think you know we've gone up against two pretty good defenses defensive lines and contain them it done well. I mean you know of course Dom Kevin Smith has made his four paws but all players are going to but he has more than he does band plays and that's what's important and also it's important context wind does in the band plays. Did you notice that play always talking about the other day where he actually finished blocking his guy and then didn't have anybody to block around. Iran look yes. They're all doing that everybody on the offensive line. I've appointed out in the video. You could see their swivelling their heads around looking to see if anybody else needs help and Donald Smith is playing through the whistle. He's not loaf and I haven't seen any loaf yet. That's amazing. That's that's actually incredible because I haven't so he's been here. I haven't seen a game where he didn't have at least what five six loafing plays yeah where he's taken off. He hasn't any he's played really good. The whole offensive of line is playing well. I like them all and in this game boy Jansen was obese man. He was just he was fight with everybody on the field. After the play he was pushing people around getting in their faces. I pointed out a couple of instances on the video with all twenty two coaches will you cut it off after the play is done sometimes you can see when they start getting in each other's faces and pushing it and everything coming from the AFC are they in the north. He was on Baltimore and they have such such an intense division rivalry with the steelers so that's kind of how he came up in the League and then he comes here so maybe it's just an automatic for him taff. Take US division games really seriously might be He's no Logan Mankins now. Mankins was the kind of guy that if if you were within arm's reach of him he was knocking you down. It didn't matter if it was after the whistle before the whistle or whatever he just he'd liked his personal space the he was fun to watch. I like to watch and make him being like that. In public like at the grocery store or taking to the Library of the the movie theater kid back the biggest guy who I think made a difference or you of course you gotTa Give Gilbert the Gameboy which he got it. I mean he played outstanding those three sacks that he got were nothing compared to all the other place he made he was just really really playing well top-notch football and he earned the NFC. I've seen defensive player of the week last week for that performance which was well-deserved oil deserved well-deserved and it wasn't just because Williams sixty on the panthers year a lot of the Panthers Panther fans or Saint Paul Williams suck now it was killed Barrett because he did it across the line when he got up on the left side or the right up against the right tackle US beaten that got to and there's quite a few who plays where you know he was in Cam Newton's phase one time he got a spin move on Williams had a straight shot Cam Newton he was going to destroy Cam Newton and Williams's reached out unhealthy ended up getting flagged for but he had to because it was gonNA destroy came there so Shaquille Barrett played very well but what the unsung hero was whitehead. I just love how men have fallen in love with this guy every game he is. He's tough. He's hard hittin. He's he's in position all the time. He makes the right choices and he's around that ball every single play and he plays safety but he's never he's not a DJ. He's usually up in the box walks. They having play in that. Would they call Buchanan money knacker. He's like a money backer. Now I mean he's made a couple of bad place but generally he's just on on point. He hit McCaffrey in the head so hard one time. I don't know how they flagged out of the penalty but the referees are idiots they had held. McCaffrey was being tackled. This is in the videos well. The McCaffrey was being tackled and whitehead comes running. He's about fifteen yards away. He comes running full speed while McCaffrey's being held up up and just hits McCaffrey so hard you could see. I mean I'm filming this at thirty frames per second and in one frame. McCaffrey's head is over here in the next frame. It's like two feet over and he just he hits McCaffrey so hard and that was a big key to the game was we were extremely physical and we beat the crap out of McCaffrey. I mean we every play. We had somebody on him. Beating the mess out of cleaning beat Alabama either time yes put his weight on him a lot in not not title. Hill Nacho did it so Nacho was in there and he got a chance to get a hold of McCaffrey. They were mall in that guy and it worked that last play the game normally late. McCaffrey would've made that but I think he was so beat up and scared that he he was like Oscar this. I'm going out of bounds so yeah gotta give Whitehead Props. He has played great past two games James. He's really been a unsung hero on our team. I think soon Adama Congress Su he he played. I mean pointed out some place in the video where he had some good moves. That's not good stuff. He got a few pressures but there was a lot of him. Get one on one kind of pushed around. I don't know if he was sick or whatever but he would just did not look like the Sui Louis normally looks like which was surprising to me because I thought this was going to be a sous versus McCoy game where both of them were going to prove their worth. You know try to beat the other guy stat stat wise or whatever it just didn't seem that interesting. He did play Babai Amy and just got us this show that McCoy cares about sue more than sue cares toying good point think about that was probably like yeah..
