"He's started to like these Sinatra songs. So we've been listening to a lot of Sinatra and the rat pack and so I played them the main event, which is one of my favorite another great YouTube thing. Where Sinatra makes this comeback in 1975, right? He's not really Sinatra anymore. He's got the Rogan. But he's still fucking cool. He's still Sinatra. Right. And they sell out Madison Square Garden. And Howard Cosell does the intro form and they treat it like a prize fight. Like the middle of the ring is a ring. All right, the middle arena is a ring, a boxing ring, and cosell does we're in Madison Square Garden, and he does this three minute thing. And there he is. The legend. Frank Sinatra, the champion. Carol Channing's over here and he set it up and snatcher comes in. And he fucking grabs the mic and sings, that's why that lady is a tramp, which is an amazing song. It's canceled. That's why that chick is a tramp. But so much charisma, but he's older. So we're watching something like Ben, you got to see earlier symmetric. Look at this 1953 Sinatra. Where he's just like, so I always think of the main event thing. It was cool. There was a nostalgia thing, and he was still good enough. But I wouldn't have wanted to see 1998, Frank Sinatra. No, he was 82. Right, and just breathing out, Marlborough reds at that point. So the nostalgia can be fun. But you're right, at some point you need to know. And even with Fleetwood back, at some point, it's time. It's cool when Stevie pops out and she showed up at the Harry Styles show and comes out and they did landslide great. That's awesome. Well, the fun side of this was your favorite moment of 2022, the random Joni Mitchell come back. I love the random Joni Mitchell come back, but Joni Mitchell's 79. But she was fucking awesome when she sang. It was like, what the hell? She was great. She migrated her voice lower and it's a different thing, but Joni Mitchell is an artist, not really a star, right? So she sort of figured out how to do it. By the way, here's the last point on Christy mcvie. Everywhere has more streams than freaking landslide. Now, maybe that's the Chevy electric vehicle commercial and the value of a sink. By the way, Christy mcvie, no kids, no spouses, like who's in the will. Oh, Jesus. Yeah. That's a lot. But if everywhere has more streams than landslide, that just tells you the enduring very quiet, but massiveness of her catalog of work. Well, the other thing with rumors and it's eternally a top ten album of all time, I think. But a lot of the ones

"Guest is jinx monsoon, winner of RuPaul's Drag Race season 5, and as of this summer, the queen of all queens, a title she earned by winning the recent all winner season of drag race all stars. I've wanted to have a drag race winner on the podcast for a while now because though they're so, so many skills and abilities necessary to win that show. It's also arguably a comedy competition. The winner often needs to be able to have a clear dynamic, unique comedic voice, and also the design and makeup skills necessary to bring it to life. And if everyone who has ever appeared on the show, very few can match jinx monsoon at this. This episode we're going to be specifically focusing on jinx's mastery of snatch game. For those unfamiliar, the snatch game is a drag race tradition in which the queens have to prepare an impersonation and compete in a version of the match game, but really they're being judged by their ability to improvise with RuPaul in character. Jinx is season 5 winning version of little Edie from great gardens has always been considered one of the best ever up there with Alaska's lady bunny and Mae West, bob and drag queens uzo doba and Carol Channing and bendel crams Maggie Smith and Paul land to name three queens jinx references in the interview. But with this season of all stars, jinx brought the form to a new level. Unlike the usual one, this time the queens were asked to prepare two impressions. Jinx is first, Natasha Lyonne was great. It was lived in a surprisingly understated for a snatch game performance, but it was the second impression that everyone could not stop talking about. Jake is Judy Garland is one of the great impressions ever caught on TV up there with any great comedic impersonation on SNL or other sketch shows. Side note, jinx has a sketch series of her own coming out on world wonder plus this fall. We're gonna start with that snatch game performance. We actually cut together just jinx's parts, but we also include a YouTube link in the show notes if you wanna see how she transformed visually and also see how everyone else did. So here it is, jinx monsoon. Almost

"Coming up. Enough with the small talk, it's time to get real. Get in the zone because it's time for the first section of the quiz. That's right, coming up is all about bob's life before bob was famous. It's gonna be sort of a fingers on the buzzer style quiz, but since this is a podcast, you're gonna have to shout a noise to answer the questions. We don't have buzzers, we don't have the budget for that. So instead, when you guys wanna answer a question, you have to shout your word or sound in order to answer first. It could be anything. It could be your name, it could be woohoo. It could be I love bob, literally anything you want, you just have to pick something that you can shout before the other person confident. I'm gonna say it work. Work. Okay, great. Joy, do you have a sound or a word you wanna yell? I'm just gonna yell hello. That's great. Hopefully that works. It sounds like you need help. Hello? Okay, it is time. Get ready. Here we go. I will ask the question and you have to buzz before your answer. If you enjoy it, you might just get a money can't buy prize. Bob is going to be personally sending you a mystery box of bob, the drag queen merch. But I personally really output something really extra fierce in their joy just so you know. Really okay. Yeah, I'm ready. I'm excited. Joy is like mystery box. I'd like to know what's in there. Before I really try here. Okay, here we go. We're diving straight in with a true or false question. Don't forget to say your buzzword first when you answer. True or false, bob portrayed uzo aduba and Carol Channing during snatch game on the 8th. It worked. Oh, I already know the answer. I already know the answer, bob. Okay, well, I don't know, this is before I was famous. This was when I was on the Emmy Award winning show RuPaul's Drag Race. I did do uzo and Carol, and I have Carol tattooed on this arm, just in case anyone's wondering. Amazing. Yes, I portrayed Uso in Carroll Chan on snatch game. Season 8 of proposed drag race. That was the first person on drag race to do two characters. Okay, so I'm going to modify the question because the answer's kind of at the end of it. Was this in 2015 or 2016? Hello, joyous. It was in 2016. That is correct. Well, technically I did it in 2015 and it aired in 2016. So you know what? Everybody gets a point. Everybody gets a point for that one. Oh, this is my favorite episode. Okay. Would you mind explaining bob? What snatch game is for those listening who may not be super familiar? So snatch game is a parody of the old game show match game where contestants are both drag race, dress up as celebrities, and we impersonate them as long form improv. Welcome back to snatch game. Here's how the game works. I ask a question and you give an answer that you think will match our supermodel contestants. She pops a pill, RuPaul. She pops a pill. That is so much talk about drugs. I haven't taken anything but lipitor for the past ten years. You don't really get a buzz off of that. If you stay ready, you ain't got to get ready. Gary, any comes out the way you put it in, RuPaul. Well, listen, on that note, I am sorry folks, but we are well out of time. It was a really close game. In real life, it lasts about an hour and a half. And RuPaul asks you questions and you have to get a match to the panelists. So it's a parody on the match game. Joy of bonus question, most of bob's friends call her bob or Caldwell, but what is bob's real name? Full name. Is it, I think it's Christopher delmar Caldwell. You better work. Amazing. Do you prefer bob? Bob or Caldwell works. I mean, if I'm at work, I really prefer to be called bob. If I'm in drag, I do not like being called Caldwell and drag. It just seems, it's like, what are you trying to do? What are you doing? Okay. Okay, you Googled me, okay? So whenever I'm in drag, people calling me Caldwell and drag is strange to me. But being called bob out of drag is not where a lot of my friends call me bob, like Monet coffee bars, my day to today.

"Well you'll be great In the art in the show is pretty swell The exhibition is the brainchild of Keith Sherman who is a theater publicist and collects 20th century art with his husband We met in Sherman's office over sardi's restaurant in the theater district Because I'd been working in the arts and entertainment for so long I'm also attracted to images of the theater And the film and television and music and dance and I only buy things that I love But they decided to sell about three dozen of those works in their online gallery fine art Most of the art comes from what's considered Broadway's golden age from the 1930s to the 60s He picked up a costume sketch of an iconic Broadway look In my hands now is a drawing created by Freddie wittop of the red dress The red dress that Carol Channing wore in the original production of hello Dolly It's the frilly beaded gown complete with a feathered hat that Dolly wears to the harmonia gardens where she's serenaded by waiters with the title song You look at Freddie Whit tops costume design for Carol Channing and hello Dolly and remember it as an age when great original musicals were made for big stars Larry maslan is a theater historian who co produced the PBS series Broadway He visited the exhibition online If you look at these exhibits in these drawings through what you know of today and you just marvel at the personal skill of the artistry in pen and ink and watercolor and pencil that these Titans of the mid 20th century had Maslin points out a pen and ink rendering by set designer Oliver Smith It's the Coney Island ballet curtain for the 1944 musical on the town which was the Broadway debut for songwriters Leonard Bernstein Betty comden and adolph green The sketch is a fantasy of roller coasters and twinkling seaside attractions in blues and browns at their transported to this most magical place simply by the skill of his rendering and his vivid imagination The exhibition is filled with treasures like this a drawing of the set for Tennessee Williams cat on a hot tin roof caricatures by the great Al Hirschfeld and paintings of theater interiors and actors who filled their stages Keith Sherman showed me a colorful cubist portrait from 1931 If you recognize this image it's an iconic poster of Josephine Baker.

"They were charging $998 a ticket for the prime seats at the schubert theater on 44th street between Broadway and 7th avenue Excuse me between Broadway and 8th avenue If you wanted to if you're from West Virginia and you go to Broadway and you want to see Bette Midler and hello Dolly for your dream vacation you're paying a thousand dollars a ticket to see this woman Seeing wave your little hand and whisper so long dairy God what a awful song that is a Jerry Herman Come on So here and she's not even originating the role Carol Channing created the role in 1966 and then Barbra Streisand on film But her producers had to charge ticket buyers a thousand bucks a ticket because guess what They had to pay Bette Midler a $150,000 a week To do 8 shows In fact I don't even think she did 8 shows a week Because you know she had to rest her instrument She also reportedly got 10% of the box office sales So here she is making all this money Who's paying that money You are She doesn't make a $150,000 a week unless you're buying the tickets It's a very simple equation on Broadway I know it's different than movies It's different in television because they can figure out a way to make money residually with advertisements and with ancillary and they can send the film rights to Europe and China and that they'll always figure out a way to make money when you're in the television or film or streaming video business But when it's live theater you've got 8 shows a week you've got a certain number of seats per night and it's limited and that's it That's all you got And that show is over it's done You have to sell every seat if you want to maximize your profit because you can't resell a seat There's no residuals here because it's alive So the only way you're paying her a 150,000 a week is if you make the money that night with your ticket sales And that's why they're charging the people of West Virginia $998 a ticket So now we've got this outright disdain From actors and entertainers And it's this disdain projected directly at the very Americans who keep their obscene lifestyles afloat It's not even insulting it's maddening I know these people I hear the jokes and insults From actors as they refer to these Americans who live in cities and states that they only visit if they were pampered in a four star hotel in plain laid out in their contract rider You think she's going to West Virginia unless she's staying in the best place possible And she's not even paying for it I had a friend who recently appeared on Broadway in a very high profile production And he came from a military family And he's told me he's told me these stories that he had to under constant commentary Vitriolic insults Not a little limb They didn't know he was in the closet of course You can't publicly say when you work in the business What your political ideas are So he had to sit there and everyone backstage working on a show they all assumed that everybody's the same They all assume that everybody's to the left of Don lemon and Rachel maddow It's the assumption the arrogance of that assumption so they just openly talk about their politics and the disdain The vitriol the insults level to conservative Republicans Trump supporters southerners military veterans any other group That his fellow actors or stage managers or wardrobe people could soft morally dream up there during the daily backstage rants against the Trump administration This is what he had to deal with every single night There's only one group of coworkers backstage at a theater Who would like exchange glances and roll their eyes with him and keep their mouths shut During these moments they were the stagehands Stagehands generally speaking more conservative as a group and they have children who have followed in their parents footsteps They're probably serving in the military My friend actually put up a picture of one of the stagehand sons who was an active duty serving in Afghanistan at the time Put a picture up backstage so that they could honor him While they were trashing the commander in chief in the military culture Now my time in the business it delivered a message loud and clear For me in any Republicans are concerned is like me Believe what you want in your own private time to keep your mouth shut on the job If they ever learn how we think or how we vote you won't work in this town again This is who Bette Midler is But here's the thing When you're working in the business on the job harassment over your political beliefs it's a given You know what you're getting into just deal with it right But directing that hate at the customers at the ticket buyers at the viewers this is a behavior that producers and studio seemed to be just fine with But you wonder how long this is the case You know later in 2022 Bette Midler is supposed to be part of this release of a sequel to this movie hocus pocus any of you have kids You know that Disney had this movie hocus pocus with Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy najimy Are you with me Hocus pocus They played witches Let's forgo the obvious jokes about typecasting with Bette Miller as a witch Okay that's beneath us.

"And boring and i buy uninspired. I felt bad for and we kind of touched on this. I think last week of just pandora in general feeling a little bit uninspired this season i it. Gentleman came across in this game. I wish they had stock with somebody who is campy because she is like. That's who carol channing is right you know the the you know who she shoulda done. She should have stayed in her wheelhouse accepted that she probably wouldn't win with us but she would be at least safe. She should've done ethel merman. She shouldn't have done another broadway diva from back in the day. Who has a distinct voice and things that she can do with you know. There's like lakers. So much she can do especially. Let's talk because especially winning. Get to that word. The final six like this isn't final. Nine final eight like where. Maybe a little bit easier to try to take a risk. But it's okay. I mean this is down to the wire and especially when you're going based on previous track records and you haven't won anything on that choice year this whole thing. I think we thought this last week to just feels like she got the car to come back obviously thought that She wanted to and she she came back and maybe when she when she got there was just a little bit different than what she didn't anticipated and hasn't been on the show. In such a long time crew is different. There are so many more queens that she probably had to meet for the first time. After all these majorly successful queen some of them just coming back so maybe it just didn't feel like what she envisioned in like in a lot of ways that sort of took the air out of her wings because she's so she's so under spoken and it's not just the edit because the queen's are like that same exact same thing like you're not you kinda just fade and think that she just sort of started coasting that she wanted to make it far and she certainly had her shining moments where she was doing very well but i feel like maybe maybe her very well with season two amazing and not all-stars six. Good so i. I think i think another thing to your point on. That's important to note is that it's like when you come on drag race. You okay okay. Let me rephrase the analogy. I'm thinking of is like just because an athlete has a bad game doesn't mean they're bad athlete right and i feel like that was a lot of queens. Sometimes is that just because they had a bad game doesn't mean they're bad drag queen right and especially within the confines of drag race. So you know pandora is funny and does funny things in is. This can't be queen. It's just something about the season isn't coming across and isn't exactly translating. I would also say that the format and the judging for drag race or not conducive for some of these queens now. We have a very specific kind of image when we think of successful kinds of queens and yes we've had different. We've had hardly who didn't check a lot of those boxes. But he was so special enough in her own way that she stood out. You know but we. It's really about the digi goods and the aquarium. And that kind of thing. And that's why. I appreciate when people recognize that. This is just one very small.

"Is certainly wasn't you know i like there was i thought she definitely gonna give him more in the performance but was just enough definitely was not in the bottom not in the top. I felt his pandora has been during this entire time. I would love to see her. Really come to the forefront It does it feel like this season. They wanted to be anybody's game so that it's giving everybody a challenge rental. Maybe next week we'll be. She could have won during the super bowl one where she was. What's the name was who was share. What carol channing. But what does Cheryl canning or what he said. Yeah that was definitely. Impossibility is every possibility this one not so much but i think that he did a suitable job way that she came back and she brought the stumm feud into it with being Betty john heard offered junk. Yeah i enjoyed that. The look is also fine Yeah i feel like pandora is sort of just giving just enough each episode. And i just wanna see her breakout little bit more. I yeah i do feel similarly. I would say that when she came out as joan crawford. I felt that was stronger and i was like okay again. Had no concept of how people were doing. I was like well ginger. Oh be in the top in then. After that i was like question mark so i could see an argument where you could talk about. If you combine the look and then especially emphasized the second performance i could see a world was in the top. Especially if you're taking kylie out of the top so that i can see i do. Think her look screams. Goth very much more goth. Jimmy association like the box on her head. Pandora box the bomb getting at. I'm picking up where you're putting down. I do wonder if her being better at joan crawford has anything to do with. Maybe she hasn't actually seen american ruthies in three because we all living under this assumption that all the gays and the girls are watching american story. And that doesn't need to really case. You might not have any idea what the hell was going on with that performance so i do wonder if has anything to do with it right right and i i don't know again like the whole thing was just another wire hangers joke other velvet hangers. Okay that's like slightly different again. It just the whole robot road. A- yeah while maybe we'll see her get her win next week. Okay so that does it for us in talking about each of the individual queens as we talked about so nick ends up winning and getting that seven day vacation italy airfare provided shows like. Oh my god that sounds so nice. I could go and then unfortunately bless raja and curia and up in the bottom. So is there anything from the deliberation that stood out to you. I felt like there was definitely a lot of emotion there with raja being against each other again which i forgot that occur one. Who's sent home raja. Do i forgot about that. Too yeah it was. It was hard it did it to both of them made me sad because raja you could tell that she you could tell that. There was a certain era russia where. She knew that she probably wasn't going to go home but still to see her that emotion for her sister. Because it's like this still sucks like now. I have to sit here and wash roger. Go watch go home again. Like damn like it's just you know from a very sobering reminded that this is a competition and he was dreams. Don't always come true when it comes to this kind of thing. So it was. It was touching and heartbreaking her. Go through that. It was also heartbreaking in a sense to wash curious. Go through issues wanted to be. She handled this with so much grace But i also felt that there was a bit of a. It's my time. Murray girls you guys up kansas. Now i gotta go and it did feel very. I felt very sad watching that. Because it's like damn like you. She tried she really really tried. And it just just wasn't landing and so it. It always sucks to see people give it their all in not enough and i felt like even though she handed it with much. Grace i was just like amick area. I don't wanna see you go. So she really advocated for herself especially to to kylie You could see the passion. But i think the writing was on the wall and it kind of came up a little bit and untucked when the other queens are sitting on the couch and there's something about like it seems weird sitting here when we kind of know exactly who we're going to vote for just when you compare track records. There was such a big difference between you know raja's track record and a curious track record especially with Being the third time in the bottom. And i was trying so hard to be like cutthroat bitch that i usually like for them to be and i was like okay. Well if i'm if i'm if i am so nica when this live saying i should send roger home because clearly the better competitor but there is still a piece of me that was like maybe you can leave your because i'm biased and i like raja. There was a that been like. I don't know maybe this time. It feels like if feels like a curious got doesn't enough to feel justified in making decision. I some reason. I need it to somehow be close. Even though of course strategically that would have been the best decision because russia has done much better than curie of from must've judges. I believe so. Yeah it was. It was a lot of emotion but then we get brought right back up with the lip sync this week. Which is okay. So i have a lot of feelings about this because you know highly is going to be doing the lips saying and she gets dirty by and this is the perfect song for her because it just fits her vibe one hundred percent. A- jan level of person nomadic assassin was manila..

They're looking to share this on twitter like they got to pick the big ones they got to go to the list of like twelve. Best and the carol. Well you had pandora pandora. But pandora doing carol channing at it made sense and to be honest with you. I know this is shady. I'm not being very. I don't know maybe i'm not being tied. I feel like i'm being fair though. I don't know dandora could've done anybody else. it would have been comfortable. I could've seen pandora as gwen stefani. Okay i would have liked to see pandora as i wanna see. Pandora stews somebody. Other than carol channing. So i'm looking forward to snatch gig. And i hope she wins it. I think i'm ready to see pandora. No she's a she's not she's a little younger than michelle and michelle's not old right like s not anyway. Yeah i i was a little nervous with the super bowl theme halftime show. I'm like are we gonna see cheerleading. Like what the fuck we're gonna have to see but this was a great challenge because it was entertaining and that it is because they picked queens that i thought were good with really great impressions. I just was very impressed with christina von zell and leland and stitch and gave i thought it was very successful. I think you know it could have been wet. The mini challenge looked like it was going to be Did you see untucked footage from the mini challenge. There were chicken wings that we didn't get to watch the meat. There are some eat but they were all wearing. It looked like it was some sort of tailgating challenge and then afterwards they all talk at like a super bowl party. Really see that. Because i feel like rally wasn't that successful and maybe the show was so successful that they just didn't have time but i'm curious what that many challenge was. I feel like the mini challenge. Was probably what. I was worried. This challenge was going to be. It's going to be like like super bowl. Like gross people making hot dogs like fanatics. Yeah skaggs drag. "Maybe later in the episode of other potential choices could have done some of those down. We'll do that later. But yeah they definitely could have picked others so they did get a choice. I don't know if they got their first choice. And then yeah. They don't make anything else. They bring the look and obviously they have to do the attitude in the face and get the corio correct right right but otherwise knows whether question is there. They they provide the luck they choose the character they determine the luck. Yeah i mean. I hear what you're saying because i feel like some of that you know what's also different from say like history of the world is i feel like we're each of them had their own kind of nuances in the performance. Here they were so different. Like you know i mean trinity was had tons of choreography and russia mostly stood there. Something against raja's just like that's what the performance called for like in a way you couldn't compare a queen. He's dancing her ass off to carol channing. You know correct. Correct when i feel like an will totally get into this with each of the queens but i feel like pandora high of she had a safe performance because obviously like what she what was funny about that performance part mostly what was funny was the impression and the words right and how it was done and know pandora brought you the energy into the face and the moves and obviously looks like her. You know looks like pandora looking like her. So that's she lucked out by. Not having much to do the same with same with i would say raja although raja god there was just like some nuance that i saw that i thought worked so well. But you're absolutely right. I mean if you compare what scarlet had to do versus wet like the add to do. There was a lot. Yeah it's all. It's kind of interesting because i think it's part of what made this such an entertaining challenge but i think a tricky one to judge is because we got such a variety of performances. But then how do you and all of them..

Billy Puerto Ricans and also the formal yes. It's a great addition. It's fake furnished. We're on the same the same people to do it because like young always does it. Oprah as a love the former bosses Amanda. I'm happy to tell you that the Tasha Leo Gift of her clapping readily available for whenever you need that's great people are ready. I think that makes sense. I'm just going to try to do it in my own life. One more nomination. Naomi watts she looks phenomenal and black just logged in just great the new game of thrones star new game. It's just getting ready. I I liked we'll talk a lot more reckoning with routes but I like to the end of the show how David any off who is my one true love can be like and now it's over we did it and now it is over totally disavowing try to shut out any notions of the prequels and spin offs that are that are coming alright great injection positively positively we'll ride this enthusiasm into talking about the most awkward moment of evening which was allow a complicated one which was when. Phoebe Waller Bridge won on Best Actress in a comedy beating out Julia Louis Dreyfuss in her final season as Lena Meyer from beep and bridges incredibly happy. Kate was incredibly happy. Many people on the Internet were incredibly happy. Let's get this out of the way. This is a pro fleabag podcast. You're lovely about free. It's one of the best things that that I've seen in any medium in two thousand and nineteen. Maybe in the decade yet great up there yeah fix perfect episodes a season two. Yes at flawless sure but Julia Louis Dreyfus purpose is probably the best television actress of in history. Yeah I think she's like Lucille Ball and Carol channing. Yes and she had one for veep. I believe every season she had been nominated and she was going to break the record for the most emmy wins by a woman of of all time and she she is there's also a breast cancer survivor yeah and that happened between these seasons so I think we all assumed that this would be her emmy and and it was not and that's the way the cookie crumbles moreover everyone in the room assuming yes so it was like the most tepid response. It's a win from a show that is universally praised yes. I'm sure that no one's like fleabag doesn't deserve it deserve. It really sucks sucks. That's how the point just was such an incredibly awkward moment. Totally I think okay like root for history. It's like when you walk or it's and you want to see a record broken or you. You want like someone's got hot. Hand you want to leave him in the game but as long as possible like it's okay to root for history it's okay to experience that moment and it was just really awkward. Yeah and it's also a fever waller. Bridge did not really read the room in that moment. I was wondering I guess veep is maybe not a big deal in the UK. They don't care about it. They're like we have in the loop. We don't actually need the American version of IANUCCI stuff but she was like thanking her agent and I just it wasn't the note that you wanted at that. Moment also weird for her to be profusely thanking or agent given the feud between writers and agents right now. Yes weird moment. It was not mentioned once during the entire telecast now's house per day and there was a lot of ignoring everything going on TV. No one was talking about streaming services. Everyone was just you know thinking whatever likes Amazon that that helped them. A lot of Amazon wants by the way but yeah it just it. It was uncomfortable. Even though it was happy yeah it's like not undeserved served right with the moment felt wrong and it. Kinda sucks then for our bread shoes. True talent is actually Frank Kayla. I will say like she seems super for actress to me in that moment in a way. I don't like to acknowledge and I just like Oh. This is a real actress but she also had just been up there like I think it would have been different if she hadn't won anything yet yet right right right so she had just been up there. She's up there again. It's like Oh you again like everyone loves her but like it is. It would have been different than if it had just been the first win for few celebrity yeah so it's tough. It's a no win a little bit she continued to she did continue to win now. She did and it was awesome. That fleabag won best comedy. US totally detailing curling. Everyone say their favorite episode man you go first the last one I mean come on the answer here. I soon as you said that to me. I I also kind of don't think of them as discreet right so it's entirely it was just one you could put those together and it would be like one very long movie and it would be kind of perfect shorter then some worth celebrating movies kate the first episode the pilot was the second season yeah great one of the Jumpsuit Yeah Mine's the number three's Kristin Scott Thomas See Russia Kristin Scott Thurow's Jonzon hot priest socially tough but you got yeah Kristin Scott Thomas. Oh yeah that's a trade. That's funeral so many other version of one yeah one we don't talk about the new one in the really funny thing about season into fleabag is just like everyone acknowledges now including TV while our bridge how essential Andrew Scott as you play the AK Moriarty too many of us who watched Sir Lock. Yeah weird very greatest in yeah. It was really cool and she when she turned to him accepting best comedy. It was like we did this because Andrew. You're Scott came in and that was cool. It was great and also you finally got to be on stage which was good so a motive. Actually I just want to say I love back. I don't need any more Brett Gelman twenty twenty between fleabag and stranger things. Yeah Ozone Lot shred amount of everything done. We're done offense. I guess it's it's really inherently offensive thing okay moving on so that was like a low and then and then I within a low below the recovered itself yeah. Just I mean it is remarkable. It's saying that is a special as fleabag actually won the emmys. We don't see actually the best. Things don't usually win awards. That's literally every awards show and fleabag winning and phoebe Waller winning for writing. It's just like wow we did it. That's great yeah so that was good good job on this one thing good Johnson. Okay Okay Hi Michelle Williams speech amazing stuff amazing stuff. This is also what happens when you practice and you prepare and she had clearly given some thought to what she wanted to say and not. Maybe she wrote it. I'm not really sure because it was definitely well-crafted and she hit her points but it was more that she had an idea and she wanted to turn this into It's a speech about equal pay which is like something. She's been crosshairs about a lot. If you remember when they did the re-shoots for I guess it was called all the money in the world it was the Getty Nassar Getty show out of it so Kevin Spacey's the Laura for Christopher plummer and they did the re shoots her fi versus Mark Wahlberg fee. Yes she took like a daily fee and Mark Wahlberg at one point five million dollars and then it became a thanks so she I used that in order to talk about a Fosse verdant. FX And the support and what happens when you actually do support of working specifically women have car work. She just like she had the stats. That's she nailed it.
