He was born he who cmc cmc. What does that mean. Is that something no. That's all right. So he was born in december of nineteen seventy nine. he was born in florida just southeast of milton. He was the youngest of six children. However these six children were from two different families so it was a total brady bunch family. The mom had the dad had some chip is the only one by the mom and dad's chip was from carol brady and my carole and mike gap broker. That's how this works. So he was brought home in a christmas stocking because they called him the there he was there little. Christmas miracle is what they said. So who is the lady that does the babies in the weird thing and get it done. He's that yeah. Yeah so kind of like that. Brought him home in a stocking so he lived with his family and milton and milton is a pretty small. I mean it's a population of about ten thousand. The town known for a few things. It's known for whiting field navy airbase known for an awful climate in fact one of its nicknames. It's hell town. It's known for an awful briar patch. That cuts up your legs because the other nickname is scratching ankle before changle and then a professional athletes portland. Finnigan i think is a total dick had cortlandt fin and lawrence times. They are from their casper van. Deion you remember him from starship troopers. He lived there. It's also known for a rising population that is addicted to serious drugs. Were talking meth and other serious drugs. Not design in that rahab. Exactly it is not the fun marijuana. Oh chip had a great family but tragedy struck when he was just seven years old and he lost his mother to poor health. After this chip became morbidly obese which lead to bullying at school he became even more withdrawn than he already was. He was already a shy head. This made him go in even more. He diagnosed with juvenile diabetes elementary school and he required daily. Insulin shots occur in high school chip began to play the saxophone and was actually really good at it. Awesome that going for him. Chip was very close with his father and they had a bond that the other siblings just didn't have the in fact ship would come back to live with his father on and off throughout his life. He had odd jobs here and there but no real career loved to garden. He loved antiques. He loved fishing. His father was sent to an assisted living facility after suffering a stroke in april of two thousand fifteen and at the time chip was working at a denny's diner about twenty miles from the house. He was living on his own in his father's house and he had a puppy named harley. Oh that sets are seen curl around. This time. chip began hanging out with people that his family would consider bad influences. Who introduced him to drugs and he started binge drinking his dad reggie once found him passed out behind the wheel of a car and made him go live with his oldest sister. Laura for a little bit. She tried to get him to a but that didn't last long as we know a lot of people relapse when they are starting to try and get clean in november of twenty fifteen chip met a young lady named tanya rios and i see tan ya not tanya only because it's spelled t. a. i n. y. Train you tena gonna say tanya. She ended up living with him by january so two months later they meet. She moves in with him and remember. His dad is in assisted living but they're living the dad's house all he told his family was that he was dating someone and that she was a nurse who was out of work and the family started noticing chip style changing like his personality was changing the clothes. He wore words changing the hair color. Everything was just. He was changing in december of two thousand fifteen. He received.

"Mama the boys to men song a song for Mama Mother's Day. 2021. What are you doing for Mom today, Andy? Well, I'm gonna give her a call because they're out of town. You got off easy. Yeah, it's okay. Well center center flowers Friday. As a matter of fact, very nice like to avoid the rush of the mother's day Flowers Sunday less of a chance for it to get messed up. If it's coming big couple days early. I'm told that flowers are at a premium this year. Yeah, it was not inexpensive proposition, but my mom is well worth it. Well, happy birthday to your mom. Very, uh, you know, I keep saying Happy birthday Like the fifth time I've done that this way. What? There's a funny story. Mother's Day to your mom and ah, former former Mets play by play guy on Father's Day. He did this. He does this whole big presentation. System. All the dads out there. Happy birthday. That's me. I think I was Ralph Kinder that did that. Yeah, That's me today doing that, But happy birthday to Andy, though. Thank you. It's Andy's birthday tomorrow. We're celebrating. He brought us Portillo's chocolate cake today, courtesy of my girlfriend who wanted make sure everybody here was fed. Yeah, and he went on a South side story yesterday with Beverly Records. He would two top notch top notch burgers. He went to Rainbow scream. It was fun. He made the whole like Western Avenue Strip. It was great and then topped it off by going to Portillo's and very nice. That we want up with Portillo's chocolate cake today. That's becoming a tradition here. Leave. We had it last year. Yeah, because Dean, you're working remotely. A year ago. You're at the TV station so you can get to partake, so I wanted to make sure you have. That's right. So lovely, lovely tradition that we started like that. Uh, let me tell you, my my Portillo's chocolate cake story related to my mom. You know she was the Baker Baker's We when we were little kids. We were the kids that had birthday cakes that looked like rockets that looked like castles like she. That's what her job should have been. She should have been a professional baker because she loved it Number one, and she was amazingly talented. And created all of these beautiful artistic cakes. Really all of her life, You know for us, her kids, But for family members for friends, she was always doing that always baking cakes, so one family event. I said to her, I'm gonna bring dessert to the revenue dinner. I'm gonna bring us some Portillo's chocolate cake. And she said Oh told Mike, Don't waste your money on cake. A store bought cake. You can't start this not gonna be as good as the cake that I made. I said, I'm telling you, this cake is delicious. Just know while you were wasting you may as well take your money and throw it out the window. It's not going to be as good as any cake that I made and she made. She didn't go ahead. Make a cake. And stubbornly. I went ahead and brought Portillo's chocolate cake anyway. S o. You know, I said, just take a bite of it's like she didn't even want to try it. She was convinced it was going to be garbage because it was store bought and she takes takes Ah fork and takes a bite of the Portillo's chocolate cake. And she's savoring it. Your mouth like she's a summer yea tasting tasting wine. Exploring the subtle nuances and she takes it and she throws the fork on the table. She goes. That's damn good cake. Uh, convinced her that's good. Convince. She's right too. It is damned. Yes, it is. The lady was not lying, and it definitely is. Damn good cake. S so we're remembering moms today. You know, I wanted to spend you know, we always do. We always spend a little time talking about our favorite TV mom's TV and movie moms. And they did a recent survey. They do this every year. And Mrs C. Mrs Cunningham from Happy Days came out as the number one TV mom acts have been sure it has to be excellent choice. So disrespected her. I I I'm really a little surprised that that Just I mean, she's a fine representation of TV moms. But what about a Carol Brady? A. Carol Brady? What about a cartridge family? What about a Claire Huxtable? She was She was a fantastic mom. Uh, you know who I was speaking off, you know, Favorite moms on TV and the movies. My mom's favorite TV Mom, Doris Roberts from Everybody loves Raymond. Uh huh. And I got to say, I think that's Good choice. He would always say That's me. You see her? That's me. She's intrusive. She gets into your life, but you but she doesn't for love. That's what I do SA herself that way. But there are lots of them. So I want to open up the phone lines, is it? What about a June Cleaver? Yeah, there have been I was going to mention it, but I thought you'd make fun of me. What for? Because of a 1950. Yes, I would've I definitely would have made fun of you for that. What about Peggy Bundy? Peggy Bundy was good representation. Don't forget Laura Petrie. Losing my country was a great She was a mom. Laura Petrie was a great mom to little snot nose riches yet decided. I think Richie was kind of a little brat. Uh, been watching the reruns, which is kind of a pain in the neck. He would have gotten spanked in my house and a little more. Not by me. They would have shown that on not by 19 sixties TV, you know, I think it's a fantastic mother. Marge Simpson know? Yeah, Okay. Marge Simpson's a fantastic TV mom. She's been at it a long time. Yeah, those kids have not grown up 1000 tests and all that time 312981. 7 200 for your favorite TV moms you can call in would love to hear from you on this Mother's Day 3129817 200 but also your favorite movie moms. I definitely have some favorite movie moms, For example, I love the movie the blind side. That started Sandra Bullock. That was a beautiful representation of pure love and motherhood. There is Mommy theorist Faye Dunaway. Played a memorable movie Mom in that movie. Joan Crawford, speaking of Mommie Dearest in Mildred Pierce was fantastic Mom, Sally Field. Was one of my favorites in Forrest Gump. How about you 31 to 91? 7 200. You know what? This was one of my mom's favorite movies imitation of life. That starred not on Li, the great Lana Turner. But also this was a movie that also started one Eatem or Lana Turner was a single mom. Raising her daughter. She was like, sort of up and coming in show business. And Juanita Moore was sort of kind of a housekeeper for her, and she was raising her daughter, who was half African American, half white. And the daughter had a real problem with being mixed race. And it's this story about the raising of these two daughters and these two moms trying to do the best they could for their daughters. It's a heartbreaking movie. It's a tear jerking movie. But it was one of my mom's favorite. But both Lana Turner and especially one Needham or in that movie is absolutely stunning. What else do we have here? 31 to 91 7 200. Oh, how about how about Shirley Maclaine in terms of Endearment. Remember that scene. You know her daughter, Debra winger, who also played a great movie Mom in that film. Debra Winger's dying of cancer. It's time for pain medication, and Shirley Maclaine goes nuts with the nurses trying to get her daughter some some relief from the pain that she's in. From dying of cancer. She's amazing and that film 31 to 91 7 200 Sally Field again for a steel magnolias. Speaking of Mom's losing their daughters. Okay, let's get to our phone lines in our text lines. Your favorite movie moms and we start off with Mary calling in 3129817 200. You are on WGN. Mary. Oh, hi there, Dean. I'm just correction. I'm kidding you, but you said Mary Tyler Moore was a great man. But, I mean, I guess you meant expanding because she wasn't a very nice mom in ordinary people wouldn't even go in the picture with him. She was a pretty terrible nightmare, right? Right. And wasn't that part of the power of that movie of seeing somebody who we knew. As so lovable both from the Dick Van Dyke Show and also her own show The Mary Tyler Moore show. Oh, yeah, now now playing this awful character in ordinary people, but that she was You know, I don't want to say she was a great mom. But that was a great role of a mom. Right? Exactly is she is a good actress and that, but yeah, she was from Laura Petrie. Tol world worth, ma'am. All right. Take care of the very, very different. You're exactly right. Thank you for the call. This is Sandy. You're on WGN. Hello. How's it going? Hey, buddy. Hey, I think my favorite TV mom.

"And I think to get what they would hope to play We've talked about, you know, nine or 10 games, but really, to get what you would call atleast. To have a legitimate season, they would have to play all six. Of the team's in the in the Big 10 East, so the bare minimum to have a legitimate season, you know they would have to play those six. And if you look, you know Michigan was supposed to play Washington on September the fifth And we know that they're not playing those nonconference games. Anymore. So they have three weeks to play with their but really you go all the way through. Ah, October And then you have four Saturdays really in November and you add all those up and you come up with 13 weeks, six games and 13 weeks. So you know just what we saw with Michigan State and Rutgers with just one or how many of our people coming down? With positive test and then they shut everything down for two weeks. It doesn't sound very good, you know, like, if you if you can feel the team on September, the fifth and Michigan complaint, Penn State, all right. Then could you put, you know a week or or two weeks in between, you know the next game against Michigan State? I don't think you could put two weeks and and and all of them, but maybe a week in there. It's just really Six games. In 13 weeks as a bare minimum. Now, maybe they won't even get to that point. You know, maybe they won't get out of training camp. Maybe none of that's gonna happen. But you know, just some of the numbers that I was putting down thinking about all that. Yeah. And, you know, at least with the you know, like you said, if we did just play the big 10 E schedule if we tried to, you know, move those games of two. The September 5th game are September 5th date where we were supposed to open the season and us and Penn State were healthy enough. Where there weren't you know any Any covert test on either team and that we couldn't move forward and play the game. You know, maybe, like you said, We put the game kind of in order without any date and we would try. Maybe play every week. Tio start. I don't know if you would necessarily maybe try and put a buffer weekend there first. But then you can have some leeway towards the back end with the if a game does have postponed because of team my test positive. You have a few weeks towards the end of the season that you would be able to fill him with. So you don't start this season, not knowing whether you would end maybe in October or like you said it could extend all the way out till November, So it's something where again we have to be flexible. Because at this point, you know, we see it kind of dwindling our You know, we've already announced just a big 10 schedule. You know, it might be even shrunk down from that. So you know, I think as we move forward, Dennis and you know as a as a sports fan, I still would like to see them play. Some sports games if if they were safe, But, you know, would would. The fans still want to see if you knew that you weren't going to see an entire big East are big Kenny schedule. Would you still want to see the team go forward with with a few games? Or do you think it would be smarter to say, Let's just shut it all down at that point. Well, you know, like we've been talking about here today over these next three weeks. K through 12. They're they're begging their plans. I don't think anything set in stone right now. There's Ah, You know, different options that I I think that That's some schools are presenting parents. One of them is is going to school another, like just like it, you know, with with social distancing as much as they can and Trying to do is his best They can getting back to a ah, a Whatever what a regular school year would look like. There was another option of ah of trying to tear the students where there's not gonna be as many of them. Maybe you're just going to go from You know eight in the morning, Tio Ah, till noon, maybe some half days and then tear it up, depending on the size of the school, And then the other one's just staying home. And it's like this with college football on everything else like These guys they're practicing and trying to just line up like maybe they'll be able to do it. And then we'll see. Just like today. I enjoyed those last two Tiger game Saturday and Sunday. And then I wake up this morning, and it's like, well, you know the season fun while lasted on and there was a real reality. This morning that they could have just pulled the plug and said, Look, you know this is This is just going to be too much now. You know, it depends. And, uh, there's some people like, Oh, they're soft or Ah, you know, that's not to pick on. Ah, abrasive Mike. Last hour, but, you know, he was, like, you know, Colin and prima donnas like that, But experiences it, man. They're all preparing their going out there and we're gonna We're going to watch over the next couple weeks what they're going to do with Ah, with K through 12 what they're going to do and in college and then all the sportsman, this is ah! No. Each day each day. Something different. You know, we said we were going to talk a little bit about the defence. We should probably do that right now. We we can alert everybody out there there. We're taking your calls if you wanted to get in on baseball over the weekend. Now the Maybe maybe the Tigers after 114 laws that Ah, you know, a pandemic and start things off in July, just as people like a No thanks, but We are getting your calls on that. Just what you thought of the product. What? You what? You saw What? You heard the cut outs, the CG I You know the whole ball of wax there, But we said we want to talk a little bit of the Michigan defensive line and then You know your favorite Lyman over the years and in college football course that includes Michigan, 734 998 10 50. That is the number for you, Teo get in here and You know? Ah, no drum for There on that defensive line and Carlo camp, But ah When you take a look at it. You feel pretty good about the guys up front matter. You feel like that's ah, weakness of this team. What do you think? No, It's certainly one that I You know, I've been expected Michigan to reload it. You know, every year um, you know, we have a lot of death again. If we granted that everybody stays there and stays healthy. It is one that we we seem to have some depth. Not sure how much of it has Seen the field. But, you know, we saw some of those guys like Kristen and Mozzie Smith start to get the Ah, the play in last year could he pay certainly emerged throughout the year I and there's a guy that AA lot of people are excited to see. You know, for me some other names that sit out Luigi Billions is a guy that I'm really looking forward to. He looks like he is a tremendous athlete, and now it just put it together on the field. Same thing with guys like David Obbo on and then So you know, the big guy that we have coming back, which we know that we've got circled is Agent Hutchinson. He is a guy that we expect to do some big things. And then you know, we have some good incoming freshman guys. Um Carol Brady MacGregor should be guys that hopefully should both there. I don't know if will necessarily theme in the lineup. If we do end up playing But guys that again that will help bolster that depths. Which is something that we we started started to build up in Michigan over the past few years, and I don't know if it will be Quite to the level of, you know, a few years ago, you know, 2016 or some of those years were seemed like we would legitimately go. You know about eight deep or something along those lines, But I do think that we have a lot of talent on the defensive line. I expect Big things, and, you know, there's some names that people might not know. By the time the season starts if we if we do play, But again a guy like Luigi Billions is the guy that I know that people will know his name. If we do start playing Yeah, well, he's got the great name and I misspoke. Carlo Camp got that fifth year. And so he will be back. And, of course, that's ah, That's huge news for the Wolverines. But, you know, I think the two guys that are budding stars there.

"It feels totally unbalanced. Even though the finale doesn't really take into account the track record and it doesn't really matter. I think in that larger thing of like if Jackie were to win like the feedback. The reaction would be so poor. You know even more so than than we've seen people react in the past it just wouldn't it wouldn't make as much sense and so I feel like that's why like I crystal was okay in the lip sync and had a couple of moments like Jack. Wiping the floor with her. Oh my God wiping the floor. I have never I never in my ears. Yellow at a girl like No I just. It was obvious I could not stop watching Jackie. She was so good and she had that dressed to play with and she for heels and it worked it totally worked and it was funny and then you have a crystal who I feel like. They never really showed her lips like they never really most of her lip synching because her face was so lost by the makeup that I sure she did the funny dances and stuff and I love that but Jackie knew every word to that song. Are- word and that is not very lifting friendly song. I was very shocked at the choice and happy that they chose such a hard song but to me. It was Jackie that like literally was cocoa pointing to her mouth. Yeah and like saying all of this knowing that she kicked off the lip sync with an air accordion. I noticed I've never seen it before. You've never seen an era according before. So you have to give her. I didn't need the nuance of the novelty. And it was one of those little accordions. It was wondering if it wasn't even like they'll be yes. Yes it was one of those like organ grinder ones. I don't know why they call it but that's a bad term but it was just one of those little accordions we she's like. How dare you but I mean I think? I heard extra with these errands. But not the branding. Mary I love the Brady. It's just it's just just when I think I've seen it all Paul. Does it matter when she did those drums that attitude. I always think of when I when I see that I think bub-bubba and then this all that being said Jackie like that fucking dress. The way that she danced with address it was beautiful and I know most of the time when queens take their shoes off. I'm like paddle turns. Oh my for some reason her taking the shoes off it like completed the fantasy for me you know. I just oh yeah like it needed to him in. Yeah beat it can offer to suffer. Shoes goes onto the wedding or Bar Mitzvah floor. Y'All does paddle turns your show. Yeah this is she she lit that Bar Mitzvah op. Ed I know Salaam Salaam Shalom right. I mean I. It's a total beautiful moment for Jackie during this lip sync so yeah. I think honestly she should have won but happy that crystal one. Don't get me wrong. And you know the look was a choice and I think what I liked about crystals. Look that you can either love this or hate this and I find that very compelling. Oh yeah because in a way. It kind of looks like an old blueberry Blueberry Berry Berry you forgot blueberries but you know what I also got violet. You're turning violet violet sour cream. It was kind of like if like violet beauregard head lake. I don't know like stomach. Stapling or like bariatric surgery and is at the. Yeah but she still had all the extra skin like. I felt like very smart violence. Small islets gone on a weight shirt. Like it's it's an interesting narrative. Here's violet beauregard. After her weight loss journey after her juicing journey yes she went on a juice fast. Yeah you choose fast. Yeah and she lost the Jews a little too fast. What does it shake the sake? The dyson shake the juice and see what shakes loose. Yeah I did like the yellow blache that being the sour cream in my mind. Sure Evan. Ross cats with commenting on the yellow blush. I agree totally. It was a nice little touch but at the end of the day I was like okay. Jeannie look a genie look great. Yeah I mean it's a cool look. We haven't really seen that silhouette before so it's certainly original. Yeah just like down to performance. It was like Oh boy. This is really clearly Jackie's But and I guess maybe that's why I'm saying it feels like it's g g versus Jada really because I felt like this was to me. It kind of felt like in season five when jinx finally lip sync. It was like Oh just so you know that your children may know like this is how well drinks can lip sync and it was like kind of cemented her winning status by killing that final. Lip Sync. I kinda guess was hoping that crystal was going to have a similar thing like fuck she can lip sync and like yeah feeling like. Oh like watch out G G Jada but now I kind of feel like I'm really happy crystal got top three but like I think if it's down performance I think I've seen more compelling performances just on the season from G. G. R. Jada totally. Yeah Yeah I feel like is going to turn it out. Yeah I think they stay student outing same like I feel like both of them. Were the straight a students. They were the one that like did all of the extra credit that they turned in their art projects and they were fucking perfect. I Yeah I just think that they're going to do very well in this format in this homework. Type Format which reminds me I. I realized that this episode that G G especially in her boy drag with her classes and everything. Gee-gee reminds me of tanners dirty little gay friend Derrick on full House. Do you remember him. Of course I do he son. I'm a Yankee little doodle. Yeah Danke doodle. Dandy that little Yankee doodle Dandy but he's somewhat relevant. Now I know he's like a Gogo dancer. You was an popped up on a few things. I think he's one of those like child stars who are now hot. You know what I mean. This is his. Name's it's Blais Ewing. Blake macgyver. I think he wanted her ever you and yes yeah he was in the little rascals was is. I did a little quick search to make sure I was remembering the rate little gay friends just remembering myself so he he. He was a Gogo play Mary. Apparently at some point you know. Yeah Yeah. Thank you doodle. Dandy Yankee doodle gangs doodle for people you know what I'm saying is Dandy adults incented Dude. Of course a little home out back in the day and he still is so we never show you. Okay Oh my God Jackie type of character. Obviously you know Jada is black so it's not like it's they look the same but I feel like that character of the one who's always better. Yeah no totally. It's the it's the you know I mean I feel like Jada is. Yeah everything she does like. I feel like especially if she has a chance to kind of do our own thing if the lip sync like. Here's the lights. Here's the camera. Make the Action Happen Jada. If that's what happens I think would be strong competition but I would assume Jada will kill it. I mean like I hear you. I just that I slept butterflies. But we've all been valuable lesson you know stick to the slug caterpillars that you're used to Mary Another random thing I wanted to mention is that when they cut the runway and rues in traducing the judges and has a little Chitchat with Michelle and Michelle says she feels like Lucky Santangelo and that reminds me of this is one of those era drag race that I have had just buried in there speaking of slug caterpillars that I've had buried in my head for years is from season to the once upon book challenge. Their special guest is Jackie Collins and I can't remember they were talking about one of the Queen's and Jackie said Oh. She reminds me of one of my heroines. Because Jackie was written a ton of books and at Russa's Oh which one and Jackie goes I think it was lucky Santangelo. And it's the way that she says that in like a bitch like you know like this wasn't planned and I don't know I've just always been attached to wish she goes. I think it would be lucky Santangelo. That's why we're having this moment now. Great I love it. I Love Life I love. I think that's fabulous was worth a forty five seconds took the towel I'm into it. You know I can think of is just before we go. It's Valerie cherish reference. It's worth stuffing in there. But when Carson refers to Jada is wearing looking like she's wearing updated Nolan Miller. That reminds me Valerie because when she I think it's for the Golden Globes. She's trying on different things cheaper. Eventually she's like this is all just too much for me. I think I'll go with the Nolan Miller. And she comes downstairs in the most one thousand nine hundred ninety s ever so no. One Miller. The Nolan Miller Valerie cherish and the Nolan Miller. It's like when when Oh I need my hair changed and it looks exactly the same joke of. She's actually not going to change. I think of the Brady Bunch is what I'm thinking of right where Carol Carol Brady goes to get her hair done with that very gay hairdresser and he and he turns around and it looks exactly the same thing I like it and it's the same. Yeah Yeah But Anyway Sorry. Another weird Each year on Reference Carol Brady Shelley Long. Anyway are you. Are you good on this episode? I go on that journey on your own. I think I'll meet you at the benches on that one. I'm the waist Mary's.

Jonathan Van Ness's 'Gay Of Thrones' Web Show Is Back

"Welcome back to the frame. I'm John horn. You've certainly heard of game of thrones the HBO series that is now in its eighth and final season. But what about gay of thrones gave thrones as a funny or die web series? That's been recapping game of thrones episodes ever since season three. The show is hosted by Jonathan van Ness. You might know him as the hairstylist and grooming expert on the Netflix show queer eye each week, a different guests like Gabrielle union or on a affairs sits down and Jonathan stylus chair for a pretend haircut and the to get talking about that weekend's episode of game of thrones with countless jokes and pop culture. References. Here's a clip from today's episode with actor and comedian Camille Johnny about a pivotal game of thrones scene between sir c and Tyrian. Lancaster? I bet you but evil no volume Carol Brady goes no dice. She's like, don't you tear us maternal instinct's against me. I am just as indicative and unreasonable as Amen that was recorded just yesterday, the funny or die studios in Hollywood where I visited a chat with Jonathan van Ness and Aaron Gibson the series creator and director, she's like don't you dare us. My maternal instinct's against me, I has been dictated and unreasonable as any man. She's like, don't you tear us nine maternal instinct's against me. I am just as reasonable. And I am just as and unreasonable as any man. When I sat down with Erin Gibson, and Jonathan van Ness after the shoot I ask van as how making time for gay of thrones works logistically with all his commitments for queer eye season. Seven shows the last season, I was in Atlanta shooting queer eye. So I would shoot queer eye Tuesday through Friday and get on a plane, and then come here do gave thrones get back on the plane, go back to Atlanta. And now this time I have said spoke to New York, and so Sunday mornings, I get up and I pop on a plane, and I get here, and then I come to show with everyone. And then I go home, and well, then I pitch all my jokes before everyone else gets pitch their jokes, which is really nice to me. So everyone's could stay up till midnight. And I tap out at night. And I'm like, oh my God. I'm so tired, which is the joke. But really I am. It's a lot like. We need you to be amazing on camera dies need to go to bed. What is it? Like when you guys are watching it is it like being Theodore everybody's talking about to the screen like, there's just constant banter. You making knows what does it sound like this new method where we're doing like one of our people will yell out the number. So it's like a scene one seemed to because we're all kind of writing while we're watching it. So there is some healing of the screen usually from me, but we turn the lights off we have snacks. And we right. We really are. There's a lot of typing are other tradition is that we always have ten degrees. We've had ten degrees every single year and shocked. Not sick of it. There are so many recaps of game of thrones. And what's amazing to me is how quick and how thorough they are? And when you're thinking about how you were going to both recap and episode and then do something. That's funny. How do you figure out? What is I? Because is it important that you get the story. Right. I and then at the jokes are what order they come in. I think it's always about serving the purpose of how Jonathan has regurgitated this show. So in my mind is always funny. I, but I do want this to be a cheat sheet for people who maybe don't watch game of thrones. And maybe one not feel like they're an outcast in society at work. So they do know what's going on. But first and foremost, it's about making this show funny, and allowing Jonathan to shine his very specific and hilarious light on a show. That is the most McCall thing on TV. The other thing that you guys seem to be really intentional about is making sure that you have the most latest pop culture references possible. So. So you just did an episode where you have a mayor Pete reference. There's a reference to the Boeing seven thirty seven max is that always like what happened that day that we can incorporate how do you think about what is and is not funny or worth including well, I have to say, you know, in in the episode from last week. It was all about Martina Hingis. This battle had more downs than Martinez. Hang stories his career. So I things are going great. She wins drilling open in ninety seven. Well, then she screws up at the French Open by serving underhanded, stuffy graph and gets booed off the court. But then she goes on to the lay at Wimbledon. Unfortunately, then she just positive for snow, which she denies. Let's what they love about. Our writing room is like it's really we are going to we're going to get an each we're going to go big. We're going to go niche gonna go. Now, we're gonna go eighty six we're going to go ninety four you don't know. Also, we might have a revolutionary war thing. Like, you just don't know what you're going to get last night we joke because we couldn't remember if we'd already made it, and it was a nodding hill reference, and it was. I'm just a dragon Queen standing in front of a murderous asking her to surrender. So how does the Martina Hingis reference come in? Because it goes on for like, two minutes. It's all of Martinez, tennis Greer the ups and downs. I forgot that she got popped for drug offence. There is a lot of research and detail in your Martina hanging story, we'll happen. There was as we air was trying to figure out a great analogy for something that has a lot of ups and downs. And we wanted to get through the battle scenes quickly because it was just a lot of carnage is a lot current and all the ideas that were coming up for something to had a lot of ups and downs. Just weren't feeling quite on the gay of thrones brand win all of a sudden Martina h'angus's underhand serve to Steffi Graf in the ninety nine French Open just leaped into my head. And I was like it's Martina Hingis tennis career, which when anything sounds like oh my God. It's Martinez tennis career

"On Monday updated the tally. It was already eclipsed the total for any full years is ninety four with nine hundred sixty three cases where reported the CDC said this year's count includes forty four people who got the disease while traveling and other in in another country, some of the triggered US outbreak. Mostly among unvaccinated people shocking. That includes the largest outbreaks breaks in orthodox Jewish communities in and around New York City three quarters of those who called the extremely contagious disease or children or teenagers sixty six patients hospitalized, no deaths reported. Yeah. So it again, I think the one the key here is the among the mostly among unvaccinated people because if you get the vaccine you need don't get the measles typically. One hundred percent. So it's pretty effective from the USA today yesterday. Maureen McCormick who played the the eldest fair-haired daughter on the Brady bunch Sam Brady bunch relevancy adults. I know what it is discovered. That a Facebook group has drew had mentioned an anti vaccination group has been using her image from the nineteen sixty-nine episode. Is there a doctor in the house in the Brady kids? Catch the measles. Yes. The group was using the reference in the episode which Marsha says if you have to get sick. You can't beat the measles. So they don't believe the scientists. Right. They don't trust the doctors. They don't trust like the CDC. All of those things are suspect not to be trusted. They have you know, horrible Jenas. But a random episode of the Brady carries weight show where one of the plotlines over multiple episodes was the entire family falling under the curse of the a Tiki dole. Yes. I remember. Was the best. Those shows were fantastic. Didn't want them got on a wave right because. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Ticket all around his neck, and he was cursed. Yeah. They they couldn't have Bobby. Anyway, the episode was used as evidence that measles are really no big deal against the backdrop that measles are now at their highest rates in the twenty first century all six children eventually came down with the measles in which TV mom, Carol Brady played by foreign Anderson describes as a slight to temperature and a lot of dots. And a great big smile. She learned about this was really upset. I was concerned with them using it. And I wanted to get to the bottom of it. Because I was never contacted. I think it's I think it's really wrong when people use people's images today to promote whatever they want to promote. She by the way believes that you should have your children vaccinated. Yeah. She's not very thrilled that she's become a an anti vaccine come on. I didn't realize the show was fifty years old eighty what eighty. What did I say? Why? Because there was a line drawn it misread it. Fifty eight years old. I was really gonna throw me. However, you think about it though. Because this is what I would originally when I saw the story. I was thinking that way the relevancy of the Brady bunch. But then I go. Oh, okay. Fifty years old this probably about ten years little like ten years too late. But in terms of parents that have children when I was gonna say yes for the parents that are making these decisions on behalf of their children. Now Brady bunch was what they watched after school every day when they got home. What what am I most traumatic experiences scared? The daylights out of me was watching the Brady bunch because I had a TV explode in the middle of an episode. We had this old TV, and it was one of the TV's back in the day that came in the they came prefabricated in the cabinets. You remember that they had the picture tube? TV the cabinets the full nine yards. Everybody's saying TV's on the floor. That's what it was. So weird to think about now with the big screen TV's that are all mounted up. It's like there was a time when everybody's TV was just sitting on the ground fairly berry. This was right around the time of poltergeist as well, which was playing into it. Right. Because you get sucked into the TV. It's terrifying. And I was in the middle of watching the Brady bunch by myself in the TV. And then smoke pouring out. And then it like minorly exploded. Why? TV just went out overheated. Yeah. I'm sure my recollection is the child is probably completely warping what actually happened fluid exploded in front of me. My home starts picture to flying past by Bonny slope scared. You are able to laugh about it. Now. Pulled through surveys. It'd be scared watching movies, thanks for sticking with us today. We'll be back tomorrow another show six to nine Jesse Kelly on at eight thirty five tomorrow and be a lot of fun have a wonderful day. Supposed to.
