"Are you telling me the internet overreacted. Dave i know. It's hard to believe brian race and So i think cooler heads have since prevailed and merrily they updated their ula to match really whatever the rest of their. But it's just it's it's a lot of boilerplate stuff that says. Should we choose to do this. We you grant us the permission to do this. Which everything is these days. They they cover all their bases. There's some other issues though with the developers since it was open source. And it's still technically kind of open source. They are taking very draconian approach to Contributors to the project saying that they now own the code in can do with it what they will you still own a license but you're giving them a perpetual you know full use license to it as well which again the routing fats true right. I mean it's their software. They bought it. they own it. They can do what they wish. I've seen i mean there's been some talk of that. Someone could forecast right. I mean so. That's what they're talking about now is to do a four can revert back to Premiums days in fixing it which open source go for it. Apparently they are in breach of the the licensing that they're using because they have added those things with The thirteen year olds and such mike. Yeah yeah. I mean a lot of time like the thirteen year old thing. A lot of a lot of that is sort of preemptive. Gdp our stuff. Exactly you're not even supposed to be on facebook if you're under thirteen so right right now jason. I don't know that. I have ever opened audacity worry about it. What about it sucks. Why why why in particular do not like it Just the interfaces terrible ads the interfaces fairy like early nineties yeah and they've never updated it because it is open source and a bunch coders are doing the design on it It's like. I said i haven't used it in quite some time because i don't want to i i'm still hurt. He sure that it is just a way for mediterr- a destructive way for medicare it's not non-destructive which you know as a professional. You can't do anything. That's not not destructive right. So as i know a lotta people that use it. Because they're the filters they have for removing noise from vinyl ninety percent of the people. I know that use audacity like rip their vinyl and use the filters to get rid of the pops into scratches. That's main thing because they do have a lot of built in. It also has a good filter to actually put pops and scratches back in. Which is the one time that i actually use it for something i wanted to make peace of. Mp three audio sound like it was playing all final. Oh my god i got. I speak as you reminded me of something. We had another garage sale the other day and the girl that runs the garage sale forest brought a bunch of stuff over and i ended up buying something from her. She had a mint condition. General electric tape recorder like the old school tape record. That's cool mint condition. Like i check the battery compartment. Because that's where they usually are crap. Somebody had leaky batteries. Whistle clean works like a charm. So now i have a classic cassette recorder so if anybody knows where the hell i can find a cassette. I was just about to say so in about two months. If you wanna swing by jason's house you'll be picking up a brand new tape recorder that's going on the on the wall of old crap so that that goes with my old film nikon cameras. I'll put that up with that stuff display item. But i wanted to. I want to try to the and everything it's like. Ooh you might be able to get some good sounding stuff or now. I guess i just use audacity and throw the filter on it and make it sound like exactly layer his. Yeah pretty sure. Logic can do that. I think probably got a filter for that already but anyway anyway. I thought you guys would get a kick out of that. I'll take a picture of posted somewhere. Yeah now dave. I don't know if you guys covered this next one. But i thought it was kind of interesting. Cyber attack disrupts iran's national railway system. Did you did you guys cover this one at all we did was it. A big thing wasn't a tempest in a teapot. I think it was a big thing are in iran. Were waiting for a train. To get somewhere day was ruined. Everything's relative rights I think The big thing about this is it starts. The conversation of who done it and the two most likely suspects are either israel or the us. Of course so. I didn't know if anything else came out. 'cause i saw this when it first happened and i didn't know if there were any big news bombs since then or if it was still like we don't get it i haven't seen any signs of attribution And i haven't really other than this initial report that you've that you've got here which is basically what we reported on that You know they got that. The trains weren't running right other than that. I've seen no real follow-up on physician now is the major infrastructure attack. I was going to ask. Is this train system like the train system that we discussed a few running on a hacked version of flash still because flash was discontinued and they had to create their own flash server to keep the trains running. I don't know that's a good question. I i really. I don't have a clear sense for What kind of infrastructure they have on around system. It's another thing. I really haven't seen reported with this story. But you're right. I mean it's it's a good point there's a there's a wide spectrum of of infrastructure around the world. Yes caesar held together. We think ours are bad and they are but a lot of these are held together with Baling wire and spitting tape and and all that kind of stuff. Yeah definitely so. This comes from allen liska who is one of the researchers over at recorded future He actually has written a book on ransomware. Kind of knows what he's talking about when it comes to this stuff but he tweeted this morning that all of the are evil sites all of their infrastructure appears to have gone offline at about one a m eastern time which wait for it is eight. Am in moscow so It showed up with your majesty. Yeah it's It's still at the start of the day It got shut down now. Of course what we don't know is what was the cause of this could have been it could be a temporary thing could be system failure They could be running off with the money Could be an exit. Scam could be that. The russian authorities told them to just lay low for a while could be that the russian authorities have said okay. We're done here Could be that the. Us or another one of our allies reached in and took some action on our own interesting timing after the biden putin summit in which biden basically said you guys better fucking knock it off. That's right that's right and it's interesting to see you speculation of Infosec people who it seems like what their wishing.

Old southern california geeks will remember fred raided commercials which also you guys remember joey sue. Oh yeah i saw joey susan dapple gang or the other day and i'm like wait a minute. He's dead weight so that's not him. Never mind non interesting well. Speaking of cars years before we dig into a security stuff today. I wanted to touch base with you guys about cars. specifically i'm curious to know what your relationship has been with. Fast cars like sports cars exotic cars when you were a kid growing up a young man where there were. Do you have any recollection of the first car. That caught your fancy that made you go. Ooh that's now that's a that's want some day Growing up in los angeles with a top speed of ten miles per hour on any freeway fast cars. Not so much. A disturbingly enough. I think my first like oh. That's cool was the general lee which that show has been canceled multiple times at this. I'm sure and of course kitt. From knight rider was the pinnacle of coolness as a child. Yeah you you do your thing. Where a lamborghini is obviously the posters and whatnot. But i personally. I've never really past that you know. Six seven eight year old period Our age cars have never really been that big of a deal to me What about you jason. I would have to say the bandits. Transam yeah yeah. I think i missed that one. Yeah that's definitely the that was the first one for me. in fact To the point where. I remember A buddy of mine in middle school was telling me about this new. tv show. he'd seen called nightrider and how the hero drove a transam. And i was like. Oh yeah transam. That's cool because one of the new transactions go exactly. I had the same reaction. Like what is this. Happy horse shit right right but eventually they won me over and yes cool and i certainly like you know. I have a thing for kit. Well the reason. I ask is I would say in my certainly in my adult years. I've been more of a wolfson. Sheep clothing kind of guy. Where if i were already know about your furry that's been covered ad nauseam. Wish that. Tell me something you don't know. So boy paging. Dr freud hating froyo so i would have preferred for example. Like a bmw. M. five something that looks to all the world like just a regular four door sedan but under the hood is a high performance car Um yeah mercedes going to say. I have the dad version. The x three yup. Yup there exactly exactly your way right and today. Everything has to be an suv Mercedes has made some wagons that were ridiculously high performance. You know so then. The thing is always been a more attractive to me than for example lusting after a ferrari or a lamborghini or something like that. Although delorean's you like german cost. I do like the german cars. Yes it i. I have to admit. I've always wanted to porsche. I mean that is kind of a. I'm not a big car guy. But had i lived in a place where one could do such things and had the space for an extra car. That does not matter. I've porsche would be very cool. Yeah i say. I i really liked the nine forty four when it was in sixteen candles. We all did but I the the shape of the nine eleven. Never really did it for me. As these days. I i certainly appreciate the nine eleven and i have friends who have them and have driven them and i've driven them in there. They're wonderful but it's not it doesn't move me it doesn't i don't feel emotional when i see a nine eleven. I certainly appreciate them. But i say all this to bring me to the point of my story. Which is that yesterday. I was stopping by my parents house to visit my folks. They were having some computer issues and as we all know someone leave a mercedes with sign. Please take because. I thought we had covered this. And you've learned your lesson. Yes this is this. Is my one phone. Call that. I'm this show with you right now. Patriots dot com slash. Go right..

"Up some do ryan in my attempt to wrangle the treadmill of reward and sadness and happiness. I've found something new to keep me. Keep me happy last week. Last week i went to into Into a funk where my ipad pro ran out of space. 'cause i usually get them with a sixty four gig ram or giga space on it to just be able to use it have apps and stuff like that. I keep running out of space on it and i'm like okay. Let's let's do the trade in trick. Let's see how much get for this one to get a new one. And i looked up the new one with a terabyte who. Let's go big. Let's go big. It was a two thousand dollar ipad. And i'm like that's ridiculous but they do last forever. And then i checked de okay. What's the resale on this trade. My other one in it was like six hundred bucks. I'm like okay. Well that brings identify fourteen. And then i can do the apple card payment plan which only brings down to one hundred and fifty dollars a month for a year. I'm like that's an extra hour of work a month per you know for the rest of the year and then i get my shiny new ipad so i ordered it then i was happy. I was ecstatic. I'm i'm getting a new ipad and then the next morning i'm like why am i going to spend this much money on an ipad that i use about four hours a week payment regret. And here's the fun part. I cancelled it. And i got just as much joy from cancelling it as i did from buying it. So here's the trick. You are an odd man. Don't buy anything that ships immediately and you can double your pleasure by buying it and canceling it in forty eight hours so it was fantastic. I felt great. I felt great when i bought it. I'm a new ipad. That sucks a cancel. I save money. The apple store algorithm is just gonna start popping up a little window when you buy something new and say. Step away jason. You're drunk or they're to put they're going to send me a thing that it's like you know in the queue and they're just going to put it off to the side and say he'll be back tomorrow because eventually i do buy some stuff but yeah. I found this great little chrome extension. Because i was feeling nostalgic. It's called th rubber and what it does it It sadly the menu bars on modern browsers very narrow now. They're very tiny. You don't get big icons like he used to. But th- robber puts the little netscape loading icon in your bar. So when you're loading page get to see the stars fly by the end. Pets it. Because i want to try and hack it and put in the the original alpha version of netscape the throbbing the real throbbing n where the name comes from but that takes work. And i don't really have that much time in my hands. No i'm not but hey what. Are you gonna end tony from australia. Wrote in love your show. I've been listening for about two years. But this is my first time commenting and donating vaguely remember listener recently asking about problems opening old word or wordperfect files. I have a similar problem and today. I was ferreting through a box of old software cds and found a copy of windows. Xp an office ninety seven. I managed to load windows into a virtual machine. Install office problem solved. I love this. I love this. The only problem is he found cds. Who the fuck has a cd drive anymore. Nope tony from australia. Yeah i guess so i use parallels and parallels sixteen is out right now and Which is interesting. Because it's every time i used to go into parallels i'd use it like three times a year and every time i'd go in it'd be a new version two hundred sixteen now and didn't do much else but speed improvements blah upgrade among. I might as well do it now. Because i'll have to do it later. And then it'll cost me more. And now i just have a fucking subscription. I'm not just keep it up to date. I don't care But you can't follow the general rule of if i haven't needed a file for twenty years. I don't need it now. No but i use. I use windows for other things that that i need for my job protesting stuff just to see how things look on. Different windows apps for podcasts. And stuff like that so every now and again it comes in handy in. I super ding-dong mac pro. It actually runs really fast in windows so you can kind of play stream on it and play games but that's neither here nor there But the thing is it's like a lot of people would just go download version of windows. Xp from a torrent site and go from there. And i'm like okay. Well that just comes pre hacked so you can't do that but if you have parallels there is there is a one. Click install windows button and you can get a developer version to run windows ten in like five minutes which is great. But it's just a fun. It's a fun app. Collie lennox running on it too for those times when i get nostalgic and pop into it and go. Yeah this is given be ptsd. I'm outta here but it also made me think of The other app that i always have to update whenever i log in screen flow screen flow pro. It used to be called screen pro- Which is a screen capture utility for the mac. And it's also got pretty nice video editing setup in there so if you don't wanna learn premier or Final cut and you just wanna do quick videos. It comes in really handy. And i use it every week now because we post videos on youtube. And that's the program. I use to rip out the audio in the video to post up to youtube. If you've never used it and you need some screen recording software on your mac. It is hands down the best. Also i like it for just straight up video editing. It's much easier than most of the big ones. Not that many options. Which makes it fantastic and it's cheaper. It's like one hundred and fifty bucks so good stuff but speaking of videos. I found this this morning. And i wanted to get your read on this one. Does your video need a better soundtrack. Asking a idaho right one. This is a new app called dinosaur score in what they did was they trained it on a bunch of different songs and then learned how to break apart and then you can put in different points where you want the temperature change or things like that it takes it it re mixes it and gives you a royalty free version that you can then use any project so you sent you sign up you get twenty songs for free just to try it out in an after that for personal use. It's twenty bucks a month for unlimited songs. I write i download it. And i tried it this morning. Really fucking good. It's what i would call good enough. It is absolutely good enough for and yeah you know. That's fine that's fine. You're putting together a tiktok video. You want some music to go along with it. Great go ahead and use something like this. That that's great. It's this stuff is getting really really good. I'm not gonna lie. But here's the paragraph that kicked left out of this wired article. Okay i think it's incredible says professional videography. Joseph do vanni who spent months testing the software before its release. The truth is the playing field is one hundred percent been leveled. He says the kid with a cell phone is up for the same job at vogue that i am. You've spent your your life to this studying it knowing how it works and now you've gotta compete with a kid with a cellphone that basically has never studied anything well to our world. Welcome to the world. we live in. Now that's it at it's true that's it's absolutely. It is true that why spend money licensing music when you don't have to. i mean for different projects. You definitely want you know bespoke music when you can get it. But i mean even for a lot of the big name projects that i work on for podcast and they just needed like an opening theme they'll spend fifty bucks and go get it from one of the you know one of the main music sites. Look i i want to again. Say we just about this. With barry diller. A little bit earlier music is a bellwether and nobody seems to give a faulk when the musicians get screwed or the music industry grad screwed. But what you don't understand people and you need to start paying attention to is music. Goes i you follow. There will be outcry when there's ai. That puts the actors in there. Oh yeah yeah well we. We have that already. It's called deepfakes and people are fucking pissed off about it. Exactly music fuck him. Yup already places that are doing algorithm ick voices that can take over our job too so it's a whole coming down pretty soon. We're all just going to be sitting on a couch getting a uba. I eaten our soil and green down. Fuck it i'm over. It and i don't wanna work anymore. Keep you that..

"On net. Flex like started the seat this year twenty nineteen it has the SP. Descript also, so is actually the origin story for the fictional villain of saving in the fourth Carmen sandiego television show after the show's run world, it's currency over time is Carmen sandiego in the FOX animated series where on earth scenario. So this is the first Carmen sandiego show since nineteen ninety nine so Carmen in this one she's a modern day, Robin Hood, traveling the globe and stealing from vile. So the villains international league of evil and giving back to its victims. So Carmen is not the bad guy in this show stealing is trying to rescue things that have been stolen by vow or keeping things like protected from vile. So she's publicly perceived as a criminal by most law enforcement agencies because you know, they they consider her a master criminal because of the sheer scale and theatricality. Of her heist. So Carmen is voiced by Gina Rodriguez. Actress from Jane the virgin and she's supported by characters named player. That's her hacker friend, and I've e- and Zach who are ginger twins with wicked bassin accents. It is a delight. And I'm currently like in the eighth episode of the season. It's very good. I've been hearing very good things. I love it. Yeah. It's great. So thirty four years old and watching a kid show enough like nothing with that. Nothing. Right. Another networks when I went to bring up just for your reaction, basically. So it's called pinky Malinke. Linke I have heard of this. Okay. So pinky Malinke. Chronicle ventures of pinky Malinke a twelve year old middle school student who happens to be an anthropomorphic hotdog. No, no, absolutely. Not piggy Linke is not a hot dog. What? Hot. And if it remorse it caught dog. He has to human friends Babs Butte Mun and JJ Jameson, and is based on an animated short that was originally created in two thousand nine and it's airing on that floor now as a club ration- between nNcholas I have questions yet one. I probably don't have the answers. But is he is pinky Malinke CNN from worth Fiqh hot dog in a human world. Yes. Is he the only hot dog? I think he's the only only hotdog only hot duck. Does. He have parents. Do you know that is a good? Are they both hotdogs? That's my question. All right. We're gonna let are good. Yeah. We should think about that. Somebody did tell me the show is awful. And they hate it. And they hope it burns in a fire. Does he know he's a dog do other people know, he's a high think everybody knows he's a hot dog is this is not an prize played like a quits like a like a charades type right now. Like, I'm trying to guess something. Rennell is MRs Malinke, okay rally. So there's so read a place his mother who may or may not be a also a hotdog want us to tune in and find. Okay. Well, I mean, I think I might I might if you watched big humility you could Email us these answer. It's just you know, what if you if you have suffered through this already and you just want to save us crumble. And just let us know. And we will we will disseminate that information on our multiple social media. The other one that I want to point out from Netflix is called the who was show. Was telling told us about this. Which is you know, I started looking at it looked really. So the show is based on the who was series of books published since two thousand two I'm so this is a sketch comedy in history program plush in which Andy character Ron interacts with a group of teenagers. It is interspersed with historical vignettes narrated by h Jon Benjamin, it basically seems like drunk history minus the drunk part multiplied by clone high. Oh, I love all those Sino you do. So each episode Jim packed with improv musically in mation features and array of sketches built around an unlikely pair of historical figure. So recent combinations have included Isaac Newton and Amelia Earhart. Susan B, Anthony and free to Kalo and gang con, George Washington..

Well, because he thinks he can watch scary stuff. But he'll just get scared. Yeah. Yeah. So we're looking at common sense media. And I think commonsense media says plus seven seven plus, okay. Okay. So family, but it's like more like later elementary school in on family viewing the parents on common sense media safe borne up. They children funnily enough say the old age seven. Yeah. Okay. So both Google and Netflix have direct links to commonsense media for their for their recommendations as far as viewing recommendations as far as age. Oh, very cool. Yeah. You know? I think the overall issue I have with Netflix like last night we were on looking for something to watch. And all right. Well, let's see what's on and boys went to bed, and I was a little tired, and I didn't want to get into a movie. So we were looking at like just some thirty minutes worthy. Let's go to Ben. And you watch nothing, you know, like, but then it puts like seeds in your head real like, oh, I remember this trailer. It stood out to me. "So when you talk about who's how kids or how people are watching new things, and this will we'll also get into the fire dock and all those zeitgeist. Netflix has definitely done a number on its subscribers as far as what it serving up to us. So I argue is watching Carmen sandiego. I saw the trailer for carbon sandy independently awhile ago, but I'll let her go ahead. You explain how I think a Saturday ago or two I was watching a TV show on that books, and I just entered on the computer to Netflix, and you know, there's that giant banner the giant banner and icy Carmen Tandy on I'm like, oh, my God nostalgic. Because I remember why does it name some familiar to me? Okay. Where in the world is Carmen sandiego video game from when children. This is live is happens. But yeah, it was a video game that I think I played either in second or third grade. I wasn't that good video game. Okay. It was it was like a computer game. But I did trailer. I usually how you scroll down on the trailer. Stop for some reason on this. I didn't scroll down, and I kept watching it seemed like really cool, and then I got a minute into the TV show that I had to go do something. But I really the trailer is really good at told a good story, and it really hooked me into this series. Now, I wanna go watch it, and I just don't want to binge. I wanna like spread it out over the weeks. So I have something like every week to watch. Is there a name to the style of animation? I don't know. I would call it too stylized animation. But I don't think it has a specific name because I've seen this type of animation before and then I've seen like the Flintstones animation. And I've seen anime as a couple of different like handlebar Barrett type stuff. And so on, but this has a very stylized animation. But I don't know if there's a name to it or not I don't know what it's called. But I really like it looks really nice. I think Carmen sandiego is like Omar little with Omar little who's a my little, you know, Omar, stole from the other drug dealers and Carmen steals from other thieves, she steals before thieves can get it. Right. And Omar goes it gets it from the other drug dealers. You know, the wire the wire, I do not remember the wire spread word. Won't back. I'm looking at the Carmen sandiego poster right now, and as what's that line call towards like? Yes. It says she's back. So if I can assume, and maybe I will is this directed, and I don't mean directed like as in a director. But I mean like as in geared towards adults more than kids. I don't think. So. So you think it's more for kids than adults? I think it's for families. Oh, okay. Okay. I think it's for everyone. Like, if you're an adult you who watch it if you're a kid, you can watch it because it's got names that like people know like cast like what's the cutoff age? I mean, I don't know if I show my kids who are four and five hundred give it a view in San let you let you know. But there there's it's definitely a cove Ewing experiences what what arteries talking about. Yeah. I know what you mean where you could watch it with your kids and your kids can watch it. When the parents, there's something there for the parents, as well, it has one of the leads from stranger things, which I don't think, you know, under ten year olds are watching. So that's. For adults and hope Audrey takes no offense. But I might trust brace more. Because Bray seems to be more sensitive character when it comes to things that are aren't that are less appropriate for him..

"Off to Indonesia coat in this eats, a lady needs her tools. No, you don't I'm gonna say this again. No, the fuck you ain't going where that co in the jungle. Okay. God damn Carmen sandiego. So listen Christian. You said you didn't really watch any of this. Right. So I'm all the first step Assode, which was actually a little bit pleasantly surprised because I was telling you how I didn't give a shit about a carbon sandiego origin story, at least aren't enough to have that framing device. Right. Because there is a present time line and then ask time. So I actually kind of joy that, but I'm sure you've seen way more. So you take the lead, and I'll just contribute where I yeah. I only saw one more episode more than you did. So I I saw the first two episodes Carmen sandiego for for people who don't know is what it just like the twenty nine thousand nine adapted version of what it was in the past which cursing, and I have set in the past. I don't know what the fuck carbon sandiego was about. I think it's her going around in the street fighter two glow. Double circuit era, and you know, she just traveling around whereas Japan and Brazil and who were in the world is Carmen sandiego. I don't know. But I'll tell you this much and this new rendition of Carmen sandiego, all we know is that this is now. Spy who or a thief who steal from other thieves because we find out she, you know, she had no parents or we don't know much about her parents from what I saw in the first two, and she was raised in the vial academy. Which is again, I guess an academy for people to become thieves and steal all these luxurious items and all that stuff and through that. We kinda see these two timelines Christian was saying this this present time line of where she is in her the've escapades, right? And then the pastime line of explaining her origins in the vial academy and the group of friends that she encounters, right? Like, the the student body and just going to the school, right, and yeah. And then we get a mix of personalities and teachers that like a lot of them don't like her because you know, for her age, she's kind of. Leagues above where she should be. And then we kind of get this continuation story of Carmen sandiego so Christian with what you seen though. What what do you want to add to to what you watch? Well, I mean again that I think that they changed the focus of what the original series was. And I've not a big fan. I don't even as you said earlier. I don't have a clear recollection of it. But I always thought the Carmen sandiego was a shadowy figure who kinda peered briefly in every episode. She was the subject of it. But she was not seen as much. It was always following the other two you know, what I'm saying. So by doing this kind of like, you know, pulls the curtain back a little bit. You can see the wizard of Oz. Sort of thing, you know, like sometimes when I was just talking about this man, you know, like the Halloween movie that rob zombie did for like the first thirty minutes of it was just brought our Michael Myers as a kid. I don't need explaining showing me the kid version of a mythical figure kills your myth. It'd be missed mystifies it. So that's kind of problem with it. Which is just like I like it. And again, this is probably cool for people who are much younger than me. Just because it seems like they changed fundamentally kind of what the character was for the new times. That's not. That's not an agree. He just said, but it's just not what the show that. I kind of know is that makes. Yeah. No, absolutely. And let's go back with the the animation. Like you were saying, so listen, I think the animation is fine. You're right. This isn't really geared towards us. If you like it more power to you. I don't even think is necessarily bad at all. Just not for me. Now, let me go ahead and just talked about the cast. We got Gina Rodriguez and Finn wolf hard who plays player, which is a Carmen's hacker. And then Gina Rodriguez who plays Carmen sandiego like her. I like her enthusiasm in the role..

"Don't get me wrong. I mean, like the theme song is very catchy. It's very conic. You know, I think it's a theme song that I hear. I'm still going to want to sing along to you know, and snap your fingers. It's it's a really really good theme song. Don't get me wrong. It really is. I mean that but at the same time like, you know, I don't remember watching it. Religiously as a kid, and I don't remember being really liking this really really into it. I just wasn't now. I wanna say in the night. Nineties. There was a cartoon series and the same thing. I mean, I do remember watching some episodes. I didn't have anything against the show. It just was another show. I didn't really watch that much. Not really remember. There were the two players. There was Carmen sandiego was stealing all these different things and all these different Capers. And I wanna say there was like the giant talking head. And this has been the computer that was like was like. If the guide or the narrator, helping them get there is something like that. So I don't even remember the show that well to be honest, clearly, but again, it was a fun show. I want to say it had maybe if you seasons I want to say, I don't really know. And the same thing with wearing Carmen sandiego. I wanna say there's been videogames about it. You know, there's there's been these two things here. But I don't think there's been anything new currency a wise for good while well net flicks is about to change this. And again, I had heard about this show. But I had not seen anything about it. I couldn't find anything about. There was no clips, no tears. No trailers, NADA. You couldn't find anything about it for while. It just you couldn't. Okay, they're doing this. Again, it's coming out in a couple of weeks. But that's it. I heard nothing about it. And thankfully, thankfully, the this week this week that finally changed with the first. First trailer in it isn't actual trailer, by the way for the new Carmen sandiego cartoon, and I cannot be more excited for this show. So what's happening this time? How is this different from previous iterations of compensate we've gotten in the past it's different number ways. And you can see this in the trailer, by the way. So in this show. There's only one player not to there is no giant weird animated talking head anymore that isn't around anymore with the weird curly curl at the top of the front. No. And this show wants to and plans on focusing on Carmen sandiego herself. Yes. Like who is she had she become who she is why she's doing what she's doing this. I mean, that's what it's all about. And this show promises to show you the origins Carmen sandiego, you know, into becoming the master thief. She is that's what this wants to. Do I don't personally know how many episodes this has I wanna guess around the eight or ten, but that's just a guess. I don't really know. But yeah, you know, we're going to get to see a different side commercenet Gina Rodriguez voice. Her this time in just from what I heard from the trailer. Sounds frigging amazing. And we get a here where you know, how her origins how in this tribute ac-. No, she originally got with. I think it was called vile. And it's it's like a top secret like, you know, burglar school or like villain school like relearn had become like a master thief. Right. So that's where this is. And this is where I guess our humble beginning started we see in this trailer where she meets an old friend or an old classmate on a train. So we get a see that we get to see, you know, that Connick, you know, red coat and hat, which looks wonderful in this, by the way, and we get to see a little bit. Like, you know, who she is. There's some like want to say, it's. Like ama- wanna say m I six is agents trying to catch her, and we learn like, we do we learn this trailer. Hey, you know, she might actually be stealing from, you know, the very organisation that, you know, she got trained for which is really really interesting, and yeah, we see a good about two minutes because he had good taste of what this show is going to be and man where do I begin with this thing?.

"Do they really need? How can they do is show? How dare devil season two ended. You know with Frank castle. You're like how could they do that? So that was kinda. Whereas it's when I heard the show, Mike, where's he going to go from here? And maybe there wasn't as much to go on his there was in that season. Maybe I don't know. Maybe that was it. And it's nothing against, you know, John burnt, but no, no. He's an amazing actor he doesn't mazing job with this role. He brings this character that I don't think anyone else could bring to it. I think it's just the way it is. So like, it's nothing with you know, John burnt all the character itself. So season one came and went and then it got announced there was a season two. I was like I was again kinda shocked like, okay, how are they going to do that? Because again with how season one ends year. Like, yes, they could do a season two. But they don't really have to season to you. Like, it wasn't like a cliffhanger. Like yes there. Must be another season. We must see more. I wanna see more. I want us to next. It's not really how it ends not really just the reality. Just the truth. So it's it was like one of those endings where you know, if it got another season fine. But if it didn't I'm not gonna cranny tears over it, that's the truth. So it got announced as intrude. Netflix. Excel shortly after I season air ended its there will be a season two. But that's all we got. Now just recently this last week, and it's kind of interesting, but I'll get into we finally got to see our first teaser and date announcement for season two of the punisher. And the teaser doesn't show you much because it's a teaser. That's just what teasers do. But you see like, you know, hey, Frank castle is back..

"Sadly, most of them were not that good and daredevil was one of those films. I it just was it just was like, you know, doing this as a movie a lot of stuff again felt kinda rushed wasn't bad casting. But it just wasn't really that strong of a film. I mean, it's one of the stronger of sorts, you You know, know, more. marvel films that came out at that time. But it was kind of not as strong as people at hoped. Right. It's just the way it had gone. And really we haven't gotten any daredevil else for God for a long long time. And there was a course a reason for that. And then we got the double show, which if you ask me is probably one of the best daredevil things they have ever done. Perfect casting perfect stories perfect characters perfect plots just this is at the show where they decided in season two. Let's bring punisher back, but it's going to be an entirely different punisher and season two of the show in a way was sort of punishers origin story sort of in a manner of speaking, you know, Matt Murdock daredevil bumps into him and finds out you know, that even though he's a vigilante, and he's kind of doing things that you know, journalism, you know, Nestle. Agree with. He does see hanging on. There's kind of like a point there, they go. You know, what I understand the why you're doing what you're doing? You know, I I hope you find you're looking for this sort of like partnership there for a little while and John burnt all came in as punisher and knocked out of the park. He was absolutely amazing. Because remember we've gotten a few punisher movies too. Now, the one that dove longer. I must have missed because I never saw that one. But the first one Thomas, Jane, I watched recently this last year, I'm sorry. It's a train wreck. It just is. It was horrible yet. John Pinette in it. It's got Rebecca remain is in it. John Travolta's, the bad guy. It's got good casting. But man, it was painful to watch. It was really really bad. There's this known sway to say that. And then they did another movie called punisher worse on which I'd never watched before. I thought it was a direct to video achy. At the release, which I didn't know until watching it again. And it doesn't have I think almost anybody really known at all. But the weird thing about it is it's better than the first film. I actually watched it when you know, what this is silly doesn't take seriously the villainous silly. But is all around somehow a better movie? It's just the way it is. So, you know, the the the like everyone really liked John birth Alza punisher, he was very popular very likable. Wonderful new just kind of redo of this character. Like, you know, they've been doing with number their characters like, you know, they've been doing with daredevil and things like that. And of course, so when it was announced that oh, they're going to punish your shows. Like, I'm not shocked about that. I think that's a great idea. Heck, I'm looking forward to it. I cannot wait to see this show. And I got to see it. And you know, what season one? It's good. Yeah. It's good. I mean, we get to see, you know, a bit more of, you know, why, you know, punish her kind of chooses the path. He does a bit more about his past. There's you know, it's not as strong as bad of bad guys, technically en- daredevil it was the season too. But it's it's overall it's not a bad show. You know, it kind of it focuses on you know, Frank castle and what's going on with him. And you know, I liked it. I liked it. It was a good show. I can't say it's one of the best marvel shows of sin net flicks. It just isn't. I mean, it's not, you know, the bad guy isn't as strong as it is in some of the other marvel shows just overall wasn't as strong of show. It just wasn't as one of those like, hey, it's good. I watched it. You know, it like maybe it was just too because how daredevil ended you're like..
