Was Pregnant I had a call with Monica and I was like only slightly panicked about the fact that I was maybe a first time mom and really had no clue what I was doing and was like everyone keeps telling me I need a lay at and I don't even know what that is and Google that and Monica was like such a calming presence and literally knows this case inside a now. To actually take back to what you can't see on link to in, which is that I came from a very hardworking family and so at the age of twelve, my mom was the manager, the ultrasound department at Good Samaritan. Hospital in Downers Grove and she's like you're gonNA start volunteering. So she went an air sign me up I was working at the front desk outpatient registration and that at fourteen she was like job permit time. So we went I started stocking the shelves at now very defunct retail store of which I. Can't even remember the name but work ethic with something was really important to my parents and so I spent all the time before I graduated from college with all of my summer jobs in the hospital..

"There are lots of examples of when wildfire has affected the bay area but it's still something that you might think of as a rural problem. Something happens far away from urban centres with the latest batch of wildfires though we saw some people facing evacuation orders for the first time and it got me and a lot of you thinking about what the evacuation plan should look like in our own hopes. You reporter Carly seven here to answer some of the questions that you all sent our way Hey Carli hey and Libya has begun. Good. So first thing I want to know how will I even know if I actually have to evacuate? So one thing it's really important to know is you get your evacuation warning and then you get an evacuation order, they are two separate things. The warning is exactly what it sounds like. That's the warning that you might have to evacuate points the evacuation order that is go time. If you get the order you leave straightaway the warning is when you're going to have a little bit of time to prep, but the evacuation order still come within minutes or hours. How will you know to evacuate cameras say that they're going to use high low sirens so you should be able to hear if you live in a really remote area, they might send fire engines up to actually physically warn you and get you out. But the thing is do not wait for the knock on the door basically because it might not come calva say it's really important. Sign up for phone alerts, get phone lights when you're county and also the state and if someone in your family or friend doesn't actually have a smartphone, there are ways that you. Can get alerts that don't rely on you having a smartphone, they will come to email there will come to your home phone. But if you have the smartphone and a family member doesn't make sure that you are there conduit for really crucial potentially life saving information, and also if your phone is getting all of these alerts, which could save your life make sure your phone is up loud. Even don't go to bed with your phone on silent or do not disturb mode you do not want to be sleeping through an evacuation order. Okay. So let's say you know warning. Comes in order comes it's time to evacuate. What should I be thinking about actually leaving my house what do I need to make sure I'm taking with me okay. So you want a go bag basically one already to evacuate and you WanNa, keep it somewhere that you can access it instantly that's really important. Again, if this happened in the middle of the night, you would not want to be searching for you want it by the door we have a checklist on our site of all of those essentials that are actually quite a few but you know we're in. The middle of the pandemic. So you're going to need some things like face masks. It's recommended at least two per person and also hand sanitizer I'm don't wait until you under an evacuation warning or God forbid an evacuation order to make this kit. Have it all made in advance and needs to be carry -able right you do not want something that you have to have a vehicle to transport when you get that warning you already wants to have been thinking about your evacuation routes. What if one road was closed? Would you have a backup way to get out of? And so when that warning comes down, you prepare to get moving. You got your bag, put them in your car. If you have one make sure your car can get out, gather your pets, make sure your family know the plan and be ready to leave straightaway. Okay and then where do I go? That's a great question. A lot of people think evacuation you you go to a shelter right and that's one thing you can do their evacuation centers and shelters run by the counties and the Red Cross you can also ask. The friend or family member you know can I come and stay with you but he's like I say we're in a pandemic. You gotta ask some tough questions is anyone in your house feeling sick right now can we socially distance if I come to stay is anyone vulnerable living in your house he have to ask these questions regarding the corona virus. Now I know we've got some questions about people who have health or mobility issues for whom evacuating is just sort of slightly more daunting task what can they do to prepare? Number one I would say treat the evacuation warning like the evacuation order because you're gonNA need that extra time to potentially deal with the complexities of moving someone with medical or mobility issues. Also, you want to ensure that you emergency bag has any medicines or supplies or home use medical devices that you might need. Also keep medications list that includes prescriptions another really important information because you might need to hand that off to someone basically. Okay. A lot of advice though requires you to have a car which a lot of people in the bay area don't have especially if you're living. In San Francisco Oakland or one of these more urban areas how are those people are GonNa get out I'm so glad you lost have seen that question. So many times on twitter how did evacuate without a car? I want to repeat the importance of having an emergency bag that's lighten up to carry or transport without vehicle cal fire recommends that you you work with your neighbors or nearby friends and family. If you've got them and coordinate with them, you're basically trying to find a reliable shore, right right. But if you'll relying on a ride to get you out to evacuate they recommend that you leave your home sooner rather than later because what if the wildfire progress and you're right, it was not actually able to reach you to evacuate all the stuff you gotta think about. Well, carly as always you've given me a lot to think about. Thank you so much for stopping by. Thank you and good luck.

You can find in grocery stores around the country and in my own freezer and it is a personal favorite game. So you know if you made your own job, you could just do whatever you want to be an ice cream maker. Jedi I'm always out of is like out but I actually. So happy she is out because I get to talk to you alone would make so much fun of me right now I have the biggest we choose to if there was ever a podcasts for me to record by myself, it is this one. I. Don't even know where to start I. Do WanNa just like trump a funny story of how we almost met in person ones, which is I don't know if you remember this, it was the skins third office. We had an elevator that opened right into our office and there were a bunch of companies in the same building and we had somebody on our team who at the time was just absolutely like your number one biggest fan in the world and the elevator door opens you happen to be in the elevator and this girl and our team just screams because you only hear our she. Just. Here Jenny. You go into a meeting in our building. No. That was one of my favorite favorite moments I was actually like confused in the elevator trying to get to I must have. Pushed the floor, your floor or whatever instead of the where we're supposed to go and I was just trying to figure it out, and then the elevator opens and everybody's looking at me because you know your off, it just goes right into the office and then Jedi and also I was already a fan and so I got to you know it was really fun I got to they showed me around and gave me all the mugs and everything and it was so fun. Really like one of my favorite moments. It was a good story. So let's jump in with how to start all of our interviews, which is just skim your resume for us. My resume is as skin I mean I would. I quit art school to make ice cream to start a little shop in the north market, which is indoor public market in Nineteen Ninety six and I've never had another job and just for our listeners who don't know where you're based. You're hi I'm in. I'm in Columbus Ohio. Yes. So I really went from like high school jobs and you know like working at the bakery in college to starting my own business and I was twenty something years ago. What is something that we cannot Google the value that we should now? Oh Gosh. Well actually, a lot of things but not maybe not that you should know I love driving like. Track driver I like my car a lot. I have just a GTI but it's out and you know I go out to the track and drive really fast I like that while we may have a lot of common about ice cream I think we just found our big difference which is I learned to drive not too long ago. Wow. Daniel is still learning. Oh my gosh. When we're when I was reading about your story something that really struck me was just that Ube only known and identified as a very creative person and it's clear in just reading about you. You probably would have ended up doing something very creative and ice cream is something that you found and became your outlet. But did you always think you're going to be an entrepreneur? I did I've always had that. I just always had that independent sort of way of thinking we approaching the world and so I knew somebody told me about it when I was very young I mean my grandfather was an entrepreneur. I. Mean just like he you know he had a little like a cleaning company after worked where he will go clean offices. My Grandmother said I remember she said this to me you know if you can't find a job. And so we would like go pick all the marigold. Dry Out, and then go sell them back to the neighbors later on I just always felt like it was freedom and I guess even from a very young as early as I can remember I always wanted to take responsibility for all that in my life in fact, I don't know if I was ever a kid. I always felt like I wanted I was. Always mad that people look at me as a kid I always wanted to be a grown up when I was a kid just to take over my my life and take ownership of that I mean like was I couldn't sit in class I don't like being told what to do. I. Think I'm a very nice person. I'm a very community spirited person I come from a place of service and I'm a total introvert. But I also like can't follow rules. At all.

‘The Bachelorette’ Casting Shakeup Expected for Upcoming Season
"And I know we don't normally cover bachelor bachelorette stuff but this one thing kind of just took our interest and personally having watched bachelor in paradise. I have a real liking towards Teixeira. So we just wanted to discuss because I think it's interesting. So. As you guys know Clare Carly was the Bachelorette her season of course was interrupted with the whole Cova situation. And nothing is confirmed with basically the rumor is that she refused to continue shortly after filming began. Because she fell in love with one of her contestants. This guy named Del Moss he's thirty one. You know he there was a little bit of drama I think early on with his social media activity according to reality Steve which I can't speeches reliability but I can say he has been right. A lot of times said the basically she fell in love with him night one she gave him the first impression rose and she you know think about anyone else she felt so hard and she was done. and. So. I guess she really just didn't want to continue filming and so. The producers obviously were freaking out and Teixeira Adams who is twenty nine years old she was on Colton season she was basically the runner up. Her and Hannah after Colton basically quit to get. CASSIE and she was on Bachelor in paradise and she was dating John Paul. Jones. She's just a bombshell. I've always thought she was a class act. She's stunning. She's really good energy. I actually am really surprised that she was not always the choice now that I'm looking back on it although. I. Remember when Clare was initially announced we were thrilled because I think it's really exciting when. The woman is a little bit older maybe want something different in her life at that point whatever. But what's interesting is if you remember when they had done the initial casting, they had to let some people go because they wanted order contestants. So apparently, and again, I can't tell you this designed to present. This is what's being reported apparently, they kind of were calling back on both some of the contestants eight initially lecco because they were too young and also some of the contestants that Clare had eliminated. So I don't know what's going to happen, but you know Franz Verbs, let's just take this as factual. I think it's more fun to analyze it that way. And I have to say like while I'm thrilled if this is the case these I would so much rather watch tasty to be honest I think she's just really fun and lively and I didn't I got a bad taste in my mouth from Clare after initially liking the whole Matt James Situation I just thought that that was a little bit. I don't know I was not into it when she kinda call now for basically doing charity work and like I'm happy that Claire Found love that's going on. But what's the fuck? How many people think they found their person the first night you know what? Yeah. I mean listen I'm not a bachelor watcher. So I don't like there's a lot of I guess. Details and and patterns and things that happen over the seasons like with different people and people who nuclear people don't like I'm not involved in any of that I really don't know I have a very like personal view of the situation but to me I always thought the whole point was to find the person you wanted to be with the bachelor and a lot of people probably knew in the beginning but continued to date throughout the show like I just I just thought that was the point maybe I'm off with all of my lack of experience in the bachelor but from the very beginning watcher beginning understand her it seems like that's kind of the point of the show. No. I mean, yeah you know listen I do believe that there are certain times when you just know and you're like, this is my person and there's two sides to that one one I'm sure one side could say like. She's right. It wasn't paired the other guy she was doing them a favor, but the other side is. Okay fine. You have that in how much better of a story will be that at the end of the day you knew since day one I don't know the whole thing seems weird. If this is really the case, all I will say like of Clare's happy and she's with this guy in their happy he's hot For her but if tastes the Bachelorette, that would be some shit.
Write Your Own Job Description
"Everyone, the show might sound a bit different today because we're skimming from three different couches, the skin is still working from home for the time being because of covid Ninety Today Teresa. Carlson joins us on skimmed from the couch. She is one of the most women in tech as the vice president of the worldwide public sector at Amazon web services. She has tens of thousands. Thousands of clients, the world including government agencies, educational institutions and non profits sounds like a very you know low pressure job to reset. Thank you for joining us today. Welcome to skin from the couch. Thank you Danielle and carly. Thank you for having me. We're thrilled to have you, so we're going to band with asking you our our favorite questions. Skim your resume for us. Well I had been at Amazon web services now for a little over ten years, and prior to that I was at Microsoft for the lesson ten years, where I ran the US federal government business and helps set strategy there prior to that I was a little tech company that my first career I was a speech language pathologist, so I made a completely different career change in my lifetime which has. Has Been a lot of fun, so I've gone from healthcare to tech in now in tech and my world today I get to work with a lot of healthcare organizations, which for me has been I can combine my original degree in college with my new passion and technology. So what is something that we wouldn't know about you? That's not on your linked in or your formal professional bio well. My maiden name is hatfill. It's kind of a famous feuding family from West Virginia and Kentucky, so I am originally frank decky. It's a beautiful blue grass state and I lived there until I was twenty three, and then from there I moved over to Germany as a speech and language pathologist, working for the Department of Defense in Nuremberg Germany, so a lot of people don't know that because that was left off my resume. It's a long time ago it. It feels like it was a fen part of my career when I look back. Because I got to work with children up to five years of age with the military, he were away from home and needed support help with their children who has has developmental disabilities. So that was a lot of fun for me. It was a it was a really nice time. It was my first adventure of living overseas and learning about a totally culture as well. Let's start there. You have mentioned you were a speech pathologist. It didn't make switched attack for a number of years. You were also among when you made that. Switch out. What prompted the change? And how did you think through it? I would like to say. Danielle there was a lot of thinking to it, but actually I had been in I've been working in the field of speech and language pathology for a company called no, the care. Corporation that when perspective payment changed in healthcare, which meant. Meant, basically they went to a managed care model. The therapy world rehabilitation world changed a lot of how you could treat patients and the business literally almost imploded overnight. It was an amazing wonderful business. We had Rehab hospitals and Rehab Clinics and we did sports therapy as well, but our main business was in geriatric care in the business, just imploded and win that change. The business changed so match that I. Just I woke up one day and I said I. Don't know what I'm GonNa do. You know healthcare is just I feel at the time it was like groundhog day like nothing was changing, and I just didn't feel. My career was going to go in the direction and I just said I'M GONNA make a change I. Don't know what I'm. GonNa do and I kind of took stock in my resume, which was not bad I had not only been a direct therapist, but I had managed people I had I had managed facilities on a regional basis and I'd help start kind of. Of A new business model so I, said I'm going to take these skills and figure something out, but I ended up getting hired by I was living in Maryland and get ended up getting hired by Tech Company in New Hampshire. Call Ky-ko Corporation so I fly every week and work. I flew back and forth, and it was a workflow and document management company, a Tech Company that and I told the CEO. When he hired me. I said you know I'm a paper pusher, not a paper automated. But this idea of workflow docket management change my world, because all of a sudden is all the intersection of a problem, a business problem emission problem in that technology could be a catalyst to drive change in that
Washington's NFL Team to Change Name After 87 Years
"Colorado's Morning news. Well, they don't know what their new name will be yet, but the NFL team in Washington no longer known as the red skins, the team is officially retiring the nick name and logo After major public pressure from fans and sponsors, Team owner Dan Schneider says the replacement will be announced in the coming weeks. So what do Native Americans think about the change? Let's get into that with Native Ways. Federation executive Director Carly Bad Heart Bull Goodman Me and Carly and thanks for joining us. Good morning. Thank you for having me. We should mention your group is focused on supporting Native American activism and education. So were you folks pushing for this name change? Absolutely are the members in our organization have been part of the movement for the native for this for this change in our native communities have have many folks and Leadership positions many native youth and particular native women across the country for decades now, Carly I'm curious, because I I think that you tell me it's more important what you think that it's the Redskins as a descriptive if they were the Washington If you want to, say native Americans, or even the Washington Indians, which we can talk more about that that would be a want to say, less offensive. It's the descriptive. It's like a majority visit. Not now, That's the biggest thing. It's not so much if they're honoring them. It's the fact that no, you don't use that term. The issue is that our people have been saying for again for decades that the name doesn't on arrest that term. Andi, I would add that There are other teams. There are other names, including some of the names that you lifted that were also were also not in favor of the issue is when you have a community that has been saying for for generations for decades that we are not honored by the use of these names that you need to listen. You need to listen when our community is saying that this is not representative of who we are. When you come from a community that is Is eatin a history of lack of representation of misrepresentation. It is really important to listen to us and to you hear us when we say that it's important for us, and it's important for our kids that Any representation that is out there in the media is adequate, not only adequate, but is also a celebrating who we are not Ah, stereo type, not You know, I'm misrepresentation or, you know, not making fun of who we are. Let's go through some of those names. The Atlanta Braves say they're not going to change their team moniker. Chicago Blackhawks. Kansas City Chiefs Cleveland Indians should they all change. You know? Yes. Honestly, I mean, I mean that, as far as I know, you know the Redskin Sorry. I hate even using that term. I shouldn't use that term. I should not even be saying that name. They haven't gone public with any information on what their new name with their new local will be accepted, say that they hope to honor native people and the military and so it's really important that we're having this further conversation. Because again, even though the Washington team is talking about changing the name, there's so much work yet to be done both with their name and with these other teams that you that you mentioned the remains concerning these communities about about what this means about the The history of Blanding in a way that that is said to honor native people. Even after community members leaders Jaime Time again have said that these names do not honor us. So we're hopeful that that you know a new name. A new logo with the national team will not continue this native imagery or thing or themes. We're hopeful that the team as well as these other teams will listen to native communities come back and talk to us. We have been saying for years on DH will come up with new branding altogether. You know, it's time to do the right thing. Otherwise, at some point, honestly, they're gonna have to do it all over again. That the you know, make the effort now and any abuse and this perpetuation He's racist stereotypes. Once it for all against

State, but like you've had one at different times you. Working for myself fifteen year whatever many years it was, so I haven't had to pull one together in more than a decade. You become a bio Danielle you did. You did a great introduction in so many things I've been a magazine editor, a TV host and writer and producer and a faculty professor author I'm Working Fifth Book. I'm an investor in women led companies, and I am a board member for some big nonprofits, which I love that work to so all of it. What something that isn't in the bio and we can't Google about you that people should know oh girl. You think I'm GonNa tell you that. Google. Wade Carly anything you know you did not read I think one thing that people like maybe John. Know about us like you're I, mean. Maybe they're hearing now, but you are very funny like you're very good sense of humor, and you're very good under pressure. Thank you yeah I'm freaking rock under pressure, but that doesn't mean I mean. You may not see what's happening inside, but yeah, I'm a goofball can't google at I mean there's some pretty funny pictures of me. Still shots that people take if you google made them. That's the one thing that going forward. It'd be nice to show people more, but as people who do know me like. Carly knows me off camera. Yeah, I'm a goofball. You are all right. We're GONNA get into this. This which if we talk about people's Childhood in? Toss how you grew up, but I think you are very. Guests were like your childhood is really really important to get into and kind of the family dynamic. You grew up with and how that folded over time and you're somebody who learned a lot about your family. As you got older, so I want to let you can share your story. I will just start off by saying you were born in New, York and then West. Those uptown Manhattan. I was I, actually did a story on the moth. Right, which is on the podcast as well a bit about what you alluded to there about finding out only last year that I have no idea who my father is, so that's a whole thing, but I grew up with two fathers. Up with the father named after hoppy Wong, and then I grew up with my stepfather, had a very very strong mother Dominican mother, who emigrated when she was fifteen, and we lived in Uptown Manhattan, and my brother, and my older brother, and I were the walls, but she eventually divorced, and we moved to New Hampshire. And that was a real shock for us a very big culture shock

"So one of the things that I have said to the Republican Party on the issue of life is let us not start at the extremes. Problem solving is different than politics. There are real opportunities to limit abortion in real ways. And Somehow. Republicans and Democrats have never come together on something that the vast majority of people agree on the vast majority of Americans agree that abortion for any reason at all after five months is wrong. And yet, we haven't made progress on that. Despite having pieces of legislation in front of us, that's because playing politics on the extreme. You're either pro choice in any abortion. Anytime is okay or you're pro-life, and there is no middle ground, and we have to pass amendments on Person Hood. We're not making progress. And so. Let's focus on making progress where people agree and actually solving a problem. Let's start there I would also say this. That if we care so deeply about unborn life, and I do because I think every life has enormous potential in his gifted by God and I think abortion is used discriminated against poor people people of color. But, if we care about life, it's unborn. We need to care about life. That's in this world. Who and that means we actually have to make progress on criminal justice reform and police reform, and we have to stand up recognized systemic racism and structural racism make real progress on that, because true many lives that are here are being wasted and ignored and dismissed and overlooked and sadly. Murdered in broad daylight. Let's take a quick break. We'll be back with more carly Fiorina talking about where this all heads to in a moment. All the same few have taken big public stances against him on today show though we have someone publicly oppose the president and is now ready to go the full step further. Cardano My Trade Of The Month
"Well It was a very eventful will twenty four hours really and for all the right reasons if if you are not all ready Following may on Fi spoke on Youtube. The suggestion get across there and have a look at the video that stayed on the t x perpetual contracts of pain focusing on little to watch there for you guys and it's free so go and check out what. I want to show you this. I want to show you try that I took yesterday. I WanNa give you the reasoning behind it. I WANNA give you an entire understanding of what I'm looking for and why I'm looking for a thing. It's going to help already do. If you're a trade it will certainly help at least perspective. If you're not trading the I tried that's fine but I think it will give you a lovely to perspective is to try to Tom's and the power of cryptocurrency. Because look let's be honest. It can just flip so quick. It concerns a quick. You can make your money of the month in a single twenty four hour period and that's pretty much. What happened for me yesterday? So I'm very happy. I'm feeling very good and I wanNA talk through the market among because obviously you guys have made very aware that I've been talking about that ninety nine thousand eighteen. We broke up through that yesterday. I before. Sorry and then. We've we've seen that continuation push on through knuckles. Bitcoin did have a good day yesterday. You know another fall through full percent die before full percent To goodful percent days. That's really nice to say really really great stuff. Nothing knocking it out of the park but if you recall my said that little turn of trend at nine thousand I tain well. That guy is about roughly a thousand bucks to our resistance. Plenty of money. We made in that period time. So that's what's been going on and not only we say. Bitcoin move but we seen the rest of the market. Move very very well indeed. So I'm very happy with the way. Things are looking shopping at very very nicely. Does this mean bitcoin GonNa kick going? Higher probability was stuck more to the upside at the minute. But this is crypto. This is a mock can never know what's going to happen. All I can ever do is tried based off the probabilities that I have been using for years. That that's really all of somebody told me today. That some cow don was endorsed by Goldman Sachs. I haven't gone on proof that or anything like that MS site. Someone something that somebody told me that could have been move Kudzanai. But it wasn't what got man I go before that because I had a trade I got an opportunity can can technical analysis get it like you know. Tell you before these things no of course not but I can tell you this if you trading with the trend. You're usually going to be traveling in the direction that there's more than likely going to be used. That's that's what I found anyway and A my experience as a all we're trying to do is use a trading strategies to get us into the market and the market will do what the market does so very very good Currently we are down point seven ovalles percent on Bitcoin. A theory in right now is two hundred and twenty two dollars. Six ends up point seven percent yesterday. Fought point eight percent move. Really Nice moved once again. They by the theory pushing on through a level of resistance. That resistance was sitting running around that two hundred seventeen dollars on the daily now has an option once a guy with a high a high coming in yesterday and we push a little bit tonight as far as training opportunities for me right now. I'm waiting for pullbacks really am they're pulled back in the cradle on the four hour yesterday as well as on the two hour really. It'll pull bucks. But the problem was didn't have enough trended to be actually in the market trading that so I didn't take that that's what took took. Currently with exile paves slow slowing pay. Gee Whiz I wish it would do something. It's not done a lot for quite a while but that doesn't mean that a warrant do something still is except pay is still a big company that we currently down point up. Point one of a percent sitting Ronaldo's of twenty cents and that's kind of what we closed yesterday twenty cents. It was up one point three percent. It's got to push on. It's got to get above the high of twenty point eight. We get through that twenty point night will do have something of a stronger trend at that moment. Actually say some follow-through buying on Exa pave. The tank is pretty Pretty Flat Bitcoin. Cash has been quite messy on the daily. Now for what? Gee Whiz? That's April through. I land night to be fair. It really hasn't had that much major. It's not trended. Well is dropping. Look confused to be honest. It's up three percent yesterday. Closing at two hundred and fourteen. Dole's on the is up half percent today as I speak at two forty one fifteen but yes doesn't ask for Al Trendy but this better markets out there for modest and that's what I'm focusing more attention base vigorously also closed up early point one percent A closed the die at one ninety two spot eight five currently. We've pretty much flat on that number child. Let Him all that interesting. The moment eat up like going well yesterday. Up to eight percent closing a forty four spot. Seven five four hour here on this lot. Corn perpetual doesn't look too bad. It's just not really beautiful That I like to say when I am looking for that. Thank said the followed by the sixty now. There is an offshoot of the trend. There as I talked to you doing this. Podcast actually drawing in some levels. Because maybe we'll get a boost up. The answer is neither Lineup so it's really about just whiting. I'd I love that. Trend SAIMAA is up half percent forty five dollars on the noise. It's worth keeping an eye on though I will say that over the weekend. They us while had a pretty good die on a pretty good start today as well. Yesterday was only at one point five. We're already at one point five. Today we sitting at tweedle sixty five cents. A little bit with A little bit of momentum coming in to that and looking much better not the best child at their bonnets. Three point six percent Roy. Yesterday on the clause closing at seventeen dollars seven cents right now. It is not on my watch list. It does have some NAS momentum. I do WanNa see a four hour. Pullback that's the that's that Kaduna the big dog. The one that made me happy. Yesterday I guy in of seventeen point seven percent on the clothes closet. Six point four cents. Why Lightness Joe across the Youtube and watch the video. That's getting uploaded. It will be that when you get there because it will break down. Exactly why shows Donna? Revenue else Took took a tried during the day on. Donna took prophecy PERP on In the evening as well which I am currently now along any profit on Skylab Kaduna twice of locked in a big wedge of Prophet it cannot be lost now. It is a fantastic tried. It's definitely much trade all the wake now. Well what are waiting for now? Not a great deal. It's just run so hot and fast on. There's not much for me to do at the moment other than just manage the position that I still have running theorin. Classic has jumped out of the bolt. Today while broke through a bit of resistance carly today it's up four and a half percent at seven dollars marina seven dollars and eighteen cents yesterday closed. It's only at one point. Two percent yesterday closing at six dollars. Eighty six cents. That's a little bit of a one that got away because there was a lovely little breakout level. Again it's shining the trivia. It just didn't quite get the third tests that are needed to shine because if it had of fire off if it had would have had another prophet in but alas keep it in the list because there is a nostrand debt and I do like the look of this on IOS running at top ten. Hit Sean at half a percent today. Not much going on today. But yesterday. Three percent up closing at one point five one sense still crab will a bit tron. It's kind of looking in lock. That's like the greatest compliment I think to Is Truly amazing. I'm shocked I'm still shocked by it. Didn't you know all right. I'm GONNA stop talking. Stop it does make moms feel really good. That makes you feel like seeing and appreciate it because it's not easy yeah it's the hardest. It's really is the hardest thing. Me Marriage is hard and then on top of that having kids Because you put them at the especially at the beginning before your marriage all just kind of gets messy for awhile out of curiosity. I heard you guys say that you go to marriage counseling which is amazing. Yeah did you go to marriage counselling before kits. No we went on. I think it's interesting. 'cause we've noticed just the change in your relationship after kid so so hard to figure out the different dynamic and how to try to to put each other I figure out what the kids dynamic. It's IT'S A lot. It's we've we're finding marriage counselor. I've now because things abramowicz crazy is. I feel like like you know. Counseling has such a weird stigma to it but we know each other so so much better like I feel like I didn't even know him or we didn't even talk about all the things and I know lots of couples do but we didn't and then we went in in there and it was a now haven't been in a while but it's so easy to talk about the things it takes so much effort to do it without like a therapist. I feel like work and it's kind of scary. You know to be like. Oh God. What's the reaction going to be because you just don't know when you bring an issue to someone like what you're going to get? It's almost like having a translator. Peter Total because you can mean something with such a great intention. But if you don't have your translator can be received so like wrong tolling. You got to pick the right therapist to all the same and you have to find someone that you both can connect with and trust and we did premarital counseling which I would recommend for anyone which is cool and that that person has now or he's in Chicago but yeah it's amazing trout ours. Yeah Oh yeah like. I've been I've been waiting for my words a beverage. Well I I think I mean I've always loved it. He's like he's such a high spirited person so he was always the guy that's like you know wants to they have everybody have a good time and make everybody feel good. He is with our family. Like the guy makes everything happen and I am like like no good at that. So being like Evan. Please help with this the hero he he will be hero to everyone which is his greatest strengthen his greatest flaw because then he gets exhausted from being the hero but he is the hero but he also like when we had kids I I he had already had three boys and I had no idea what I was doing and so he just I mean like Bella was so cocky gauge and he just almost took over like he'd be like I got this like again he was just the hero. I think he's always Evans is always the person you can go to and you know that everything will be healed. Make everything better. You know glove this Israeli state you. I appreciate that I imagine if you guys are comfortable talking about it is a pretty common thing that somewhat blended the family. was that a hard thing the navigate through or is it just like this is doing this so hard. No it's there's no there's no easy marriage is hard as it is a blended family is like you're learning all these different ways to relate these new ways to relate to each other and it's like you know these three boys who you know have an eighteen year old a fourteen year old eleven year old so they're all going through like different phases of life and like And then you know introducing somebody that I met on a TV show who they had no history with was like carly jumped right in first and she just really dove in and it was. It was awesome awesome. But that's certainly had its challenges and it's different now to than when we met because as the kids have gotten older like they've I feel you like since we've been together. They've gone through harder stages of like being boys. You know what I mean like. At the beginning I feel like they were just young. Kids and Ainsley was eight eight and now I mean we never been issues things like the like you know the other two are like molder and the fourteen year old has a seventeen year. Old girlfriend like would you information you know. The eighteen year olds trying to find his path. You know like we're navigating new waters wall still and also trying to take care of two littles. So there's just I just feel like there's a law going on and Evans constantly. You know taking kids to basketball practice and to work and this and that and it's just it's just a lot all the time but it's changed dramatically since the beginning just because of these new stages in introducing new kids and it's like every six months is a new that we figure. Yeah it is. I do imagine it'd be someone more difficult since the kids were older like as opposed to just having younger kids kids but did you have like a strategy going in with the kids are like was it just love them and like hopefully they'll love you back like I think I mean I just didn't know what to expect. I hadn't really been around kids I had like I have one little cousin who now is twenty two. So he's not really little but but I kind of was just like I'm just going to be their friend and be there for them and I mean that's kind of how I am. If they need me you know a knock away a phone on call away and just be there form as much as possible and give them as much as I can and you know I never wanted to to step in as like the mom because they have a mom so I kind of was just like I'll just be a good woman for them to look up to and that's kind of who I've I just tried to be for them a mom and of like a role model mom and friend and I don't know does that make sense This really google. I haven't always been the best at it but I try no. I think it's hard for some people to have that perspective going in so it's really cool that you have that perspective. I mean yeah. We have a lot of friends that are blended families just hearing the different struggles and trying to find the dynamics. That's it usually takes a while. But that's the but they also have. I mean they have the best grandparents that were you know super close to and like Evans Ex. Wife's parents are like I mean I feel like they're also also by family like we're so close to them. Yeah and you know I mean they have Evan and they just have like such a good already like ingrained family. Strength that me coming in added to it but they didn't need to be there because they already have like such aged strong. I don't know where it is to support system. Yeah that's cool. Thanks for talking about those. Where take that talk about? Whatever have done it well from what we've seen so well we have always adventure? What is the? What is the best piece of advice that you would give to someone else or that you've received about marriage and relationships chips? An awesome tough question. But Oh gosh I mean what are we learning counselling who who I think to which I don't do because Evans pepitas this exact thing that I don't do but really trying to listen and hear exactly what they're but the other person is really saying which body language but I think you know taking the time to actually be like okay. What is going on? Be Curious about like how the other person's I'm doing good. I think making time for each other which we don't do enough of but it's so hard right that's really hard like yeah so hard. Yeah I think mine would be. If you're going through a hard season it's it might get worse before it gets better but it's GonNa get better. I right yeah. That's really good for anybody to listen to. Because we've talked about this a lot on this podcast with people people that the world right now just expects relationships be easy and if they're not easy people think they're wrong right and I feel like relationships are supposed to be hard food because it's like every time you go through those rough seasons you come out loving that person's so much more than you had prior And I think people miss out on a a lot. Yeah I think a relationship also learning a lot about yourself you know. It's like relationships are supposed to be for you to grow also like grow as a couple and grow into each other but also grow as human being one hundred percent about yourself. I was real big into the self-help like Self discovery coverage if you will like people the books and all that stuff but I've realize like just get married and have a kid and you'll you'll figure out a lot I I like ultimately that's the best self-improvement tool there is. I feel like his marriage. If you keep having kids it's really really hard to break up with.

"Nia. Oh I thought we'd move. Oh we're we're thinking about Nixing this question this morning I was like I wonder if they'll ask a pet peeve. I love this question so the one that we're working on in therapy and other things is. We need to go back and do that. We haven't done that in. Why would you need director is also something and then carly will? I'll say I'm really bad at examples here but the the extrapolation thing right like I say one thing and then she goes like he takes ten steps down the road. You said this you mean this instead it and you said said it this way in your eyes looked like this meant this and then he says you can't judge my face and then what else would i. Joe ooh value by by language is everything but like so. We're working on it because you can be like so I heard you say this. Isn't that which you meant currently doesn't do but I never did but it's just it's hard because then you're stuck right. She's gone there and it's like how do you unpack it and go back to what you originally meant without getting angry and like feeling kind of trapped and it's really anxious moment to be like how. How do I was on my way out of this? This one sky I know guys and girls think differently. I know guys are supposed to just say what they mean but curls Marriott so like.

"I was like no. We're not the way yes we were. We are so it was the most amazing feeling. Because there's a camera there and you're like Amon- on camera right now do As really hooking up all of a sudden the lights come on kissing tag hooked up we went all the way that story straight here. We're on different. I don't know we didn't do it until the fantasy suite. No balls. Apparently there's video evidence so you you guys. This never happened. You really don't remember that prey drought. But I don't think it happened anyway. Continuous life life recalling producer. Now because the lights came on and they were looking for me and so we hid under the covers and then in the lights turned back off and I was like. We're not doing anything again. I'm leaving the room and then I left the room Let's talk to that point. We had weird bluffs story because we were like friends and then we went on a date and then I broke broke off them and then we got together. Even though we weren't together before it was it was very confusing complicated. It was like title. Yes it was complicated complicated little. We're together and broke up together so the first day now. Now I'm looking back thinking. Maybe I was just drunk the whole time the first day you know you have a lot of alcohol. Because it's very nerve wracking. Yeah so do you remember member like grandma grabbing my hand and we went to the pool and I was like no but then he asked me on a date and we had this date where we had to eat a Habanero hero in what in under a minute and then kiss each other without our lips. Parties is your first day. Yes a bachelor. The hottest despite pepper is so hot we were trying to beat this world record. Oh where was it hot host pepper. It wasn't the ghost Palmyre but it was what we didn't know. Oh was the smaller. The pepper hotter that pepper. So we're like let's get the smallest one the easy so you have to kiss you have to like basically exclude hold your lips together but they say long Hud has kissed so okay. We thought like just kiss each other but think about when you're kissing your lips do part because then you go back again. We weren't thinking about that so our lips part and we have to restart Ono and dying. We have like snot running down our faces. Tears Asia and Harrison staring at us. And he's like you have to do it again Chris. I can't do it again. I'm dry heaving Evans like die. I'm not I'm doing it and Carlos like we're doing this pepper because you have to do it all over again. From the beginning you'd another pepper. Another vats next level was horrible. Another one may mostly because Chris arrison was just give me the look of like. You'RE GONNA ruin this date if you don't do it again. I think that was just pity now I I don't think so. I think he's like you're better than this. So eight another one. Our Lips do not part. We won the world record so we are Guinness World Record holders saw that. We're going to wait. How long in thirty two seconds is that right? I don't know it was I. I hate spicy stuff I could never google. What'd you do again if we got the book? We're not really in the book. It was horrible and I threw up all night. Add medic come. It was no. I had horrible food allergies and most stomach so like pleased with the girl what she's sitting there crying and then they bring over like a giant thing and milk and she's like lactose intolerant Lazaro uses horrible. They did actually. I think. Have all the not so then right after that Evan. This is the best Coosa my life and I was like you. He broke world record. I was like we can't date and so then the next morning I dislike in. TSE from the Heaven Aero. Yeah and I. I've been on the year before and like this guy was like so awful to me at the end so I just like was looking to date around. You know like I'm I can't focus on one in person so then we went. I guess then we just hung out and I was like. He's is really cool and he's like chilled out. Because Hey Carli you drink. Hey Carl Nice which I love and I love that now because now I always. He's on a drink but at the time it was a little overwhelming and then I was like man. This guy is the best guy like this is the kind of guy need a fall in love. With what what is wrong with me and then the more we hung out the more I was like this is so sealed the deal is this is the guy. What's he'll deal so I got really really sick like the very first day? I ran across the beach barefoot. And it's like thousand degree sand and so apparently contracted two different. Bacteria is from the sand so my so big and I was like so sick I like passed out and then you have to go to the doctor. I was like okay fine. I'll go to the doctor. You should take carly no. She didn't even like me carly wants to go with fine. Did Not want to go with me. uh-huh she willingly obliged guests still wanted to be his friend. I still had concerns for you. So I'm like okay. So let's go the doctor and I walk out and there's a frigging ambulance. They've sirens this is N. T. as immediately grabby actions. Like if I'm getting on here you're giving me oxygen and I'd like one of those and he played it up. They flubbed the Ivy but then we spent like three hours at the hospital and I guess. The meds chilled me out because he was so chill. Yeah Ah yeah and I was like I remember. We got back. We caught the hospital date and I was like if you could just be like this. You can just be medicated. All and if you could just roll up like maybe this could happen. You do that like don't do that. Yeah and then. We went on another day in another day and then ended up falling in love and now two kids later here. We are. What an exciting? Yeah I mean that's it's pretty little misdirection you didn't want to go to force producers to thank for the relationship pretty much well a lot of it. I mean I guess for definitely for sending the hospital but I remember every day they like. So do you like Kevin or do you not like Evan today and I was like I don't know today I don't know you know and then later in the day I think maybe I like them today. Nine definitely don't like him. Oh so like up and down that there is nothing that they did or said and really to like. Make me like him. He made me like him. It was just boom that they forced me to get an ambulance enforces to hang out and we just had a friendship and then I realized that WHO's arranged marriage of and some of you confusing though like on the show. I mean you already have so much to sort through all the different people and the different girls are different guys and then have producer. Be Like do you like do you not like him. I'm like I don't know I don't even know what my name is. Let alone in every single day it would be so overwhelming. Just let let me think for a second and THERALAC him Peres weird too because you almost. It's almost a game. You kind of have to fight to stay on So not not really liking each other and a romantic way at points We're like do I still give my rose to him because this is the person I have been like the closest to hugh but like I don't want to tell them like on your girlfriend with this rose so I don't know it was like interesting little. It's it's a hard paradise. This is hard because you want to stay. But you don't want to well if you're not a jerk you don't want to lead someone on either. You know Carl you said earlier that I think might go really good on the tombstone cab. He said looking back. I was probably just drunk the whole time. Maybe not a bad way to live. I though these never worked longest kiss with the pepper. I just feel like in some ways. It's representative of marriage like sometimes even when it hurts you gotTa do you gotTa do some stuff. You don't want to do that. I used shooting. We were to take that line nine out of context down very bad we start this outline even sometimes you just gotTa do stuff. You don't WanNa yeah okay. Yeah around the spicy. Sometimes it's not burn. That's right you know. Offer cut back..

"Shines totally get it. I was filling out like you felt like health quizzes. And they're Mike. How many times a week do you drink? I was like Oh my God yourself. An alcoholic is like seven nights a week like cheese. I don't know what the threshold certainly just like. They must mean like two or three drinks tonight or like three or four. We'll go with that. This is the health guy over. Yes yes sir. I'm getting judged wine just as much as I like my line if not more trouble after you started drinking and I would like pour myself a glass and I come over and you'd be like where's my glass. Oh Gosh yes again. It's like without her. No they make make me jealous. He's saying what he was drinking while she was pregnant and now she is just get used to it again. Yeah it's I didn't really let you drink wine Brie Sean Sean. It was like because it's so unfair. I know we're already going through so much. You can't eat. Yeah stupid rules. Yeah I love love Sushi and that was the hardest for me. I mean I still pregnancy. I didn't the second one I was like. Come on which meat sandwich meat every day. That's Jimmy Johnson. Why not wine randomly? That's okay just a British doctor will say you can have a couple of baby moon. I had a couple of glasses of wine. I mean if you're going to sit on a balcony in Paris you better have awesome very exciting. Did you post a picture of you. Pregnant drinking wine on instagram. All you haters sparkling ingredients. Houston it was fine. It was champagne why it was a lie at the time. So it's so annoying. Everything thing I do everything wrong. Apparently you can't do it like I had the baby in a car seat in a cart and strap was like a little Latino and people were losing their minds. It's not even in the car a public cart post the car seat. You cannot do oh I had. Our little girl was on in the car seat. Oh Yes druce. You're risking the health and the safety of your child. How dare you handle guys? You must not love your sleeping in the car seat. Her tricky smack. Thank you know anyway. I do like I do appreciate people who give advice like a a well-meaning way like hey like hey just a heads up like but there's a clear difference when people are like. Oh I just wanted to let you know and then the people who are like you do this wrong. Yes geared terrible terrible but they all start off. I really love you fan child. I'm I'm a healthcare professional. Oh my gosh. I'm just concerned on your soapbox. I had a battle this week because so our daughter Bella has is an extra front tooth. Yup She has five hundred four which is pretty funny looking. It's special we call it her special too and she also still sucks on a pacifier fire. So apparently there's nothing. There's all these people that are so mad that her teeth looked so bad because of this pacifier and I'm like you guys. Her teeth look back is just an extra tooth. Both fires encourage tooth growth so she probably did for so long so ridiculous. Like you guys leave us alone. And if she sucks on a pacified until she's four and she's a happy kid let the kid be happy happy and you also can't take a pacifier away from the kid who knows past Mars the most while you have a new baby pacifier and they send it makes you the only better. I've never said this I had pass. Fire was six. So that's GONNA be She sleeps with like twelve. The of those ones with on her face stand actually wrote me a letter when I turned six and ask for my pacifier. Oh I did L. with the cookies uh-huh that was brave. Brave it was. It was a great Christmas toys. You deserve it. There's nothing wrong with it. I actually Andrew. I wanted to talk to you about that because I saw that on instagram and it made me so mad last night literally called one of my friends friends. Talk me off a cliff because someone just wrote something like questioning my parenting and I want to wrote them apart and so hard the one I tried to explain to she was kind of laughing. It she doesn't have a kid yet and she's like why do you care and I don't care what they say. But it's almost like they're questioning your love for your child doors and I hate that And it's like I would do anything for the I'm like you. You can talk. You know I mean we've been public. I forever like you can talk bad about my eyebrows. You can talk about upper lip moustache. I don't care but you can't sir. You can't talk bad about my kid and you can't talk about my parenting because I am the best parent to that child. I that child the most I would never put that child in danger and every parent should know that on the flip side of this on the flip side right. Nah I feel like I feel for the now. No it's it's easier to feel like there's a thousand thousands hundreds of thousands millions. I'M GONNA keep going up until of people that are wildly supportive absolutely because there is like this you've had so many positive conversations with people who have reached out giving giving advice. I didn't know that you actually carly have a podcast called Mommy's tell all part of the whole Spiel is the positive mommy community right absolutely. Yeah it's the place that I mean. Jade and I would always call and basically complain to each other or ask questions each other like jade went I so I was always calling her and being like what do I do when this happens and so it almost just ended up being like one of our phone calls but like now it's in the public like it went from talking to each other. It'd be like well. I guess lots of people would like to listen to this conversation. We're having and then I don't know and then the mommy community. We have like this huge facebook book group. That is insane. But it's it's great. I mean I'll go there and be like hey. I'm I stopped breastfeeding early but I was like. I'm having trouble doing this. You know we will. Hello everybody would reply. I mean there's questions. Comments concerns everyday like two hundred comments for. EVAN LOVES TO BE IN THIS FACEBOOK group in one of only two guys. Tanner invite yes. Everyone come join facebook group. But it's really cool like like we. It's just nice for Mazda. Have a place to talk to other moms. Because it's it's hard and you need support in. I mean it's hard to talk to your husband about how the things that you're going through especially postpartum your body feels weird and your mind is gone and it's nice to be like. Hey Mom do you feel this way too am. Am I crazy. No it's actually with the understanding like in a facebook group that is going to be a positive place wild west of. Oh Yeah and if it is then you get blocked blocked. No I think that's we experienced that. The Community of social media. There's amazing people on there and even with drew. If something happens I truly want to answer and be like what do I do totally because so many people want to help just those little that little small community of very passionate mummies have opinions. That are wrong against yours that make heart. Yeah there's only four of mm-hmm yeah true though it's always it's always like the same type and why is it does like you have a thousand comments. And they're all amazing. There's one that's bad. And why did it like so bad. It's like hate has like bigger than love which is sad in in Pyan not comment that I know it shouldn't be that way Getting good are you saying good good is stronger than evil lovat back yeah philosophically. Yes tell us how you guys met on a different note. Oh really oh man. So I haven't actually saw me before I ever met him. Yeah we were at a same rebar Nashville packed and then I was like there are some friends like that girl from the Bachelor Carly and I was about got to go on the Bachelorette and was like actually go say hi and ask for advice. And she's cute and was like Nah. I'm just GonNa just GonNa let it be organic so I didn't go see a high you not so so weird is the first time you've ever told me the story is way different than what you just said. Something like that was it. Less creepy now is like in. You didn't look nice so I didn't come muffin top. It was you told me I didn't look Nice. Look story is going to change because okay what it is now for crying out loud. uh-huh beautiful I notice you but you weren't wearing the right outfit. No I didn't like the color red I no I don't I remember it the way I just hold it. And that's all it's important. I'm not addressed in a way that Evan would approve of. I think take a look at my face was more permanent interfaces or sometimes I do I could I mean in a lot of girls do are right. I'm sure I never went out with guys so it was probably with the group of girlfriends and was like people were asking you for pictures and sort of you. Look kind of annoyed. SHOCKER and Yes you know. Hey we all have those moments. Yeah Gosh it's two thousand sixteen. Then we met on the Bachelor spinoff show Bachelor in paradise. Yes so show on TV Washington Gotcha. We heard fans of Bachelor. bachelorette diehards I'm tapering off from being on your tapering off. I was crazy about got it really and now I kind of feel guilty watching it like it's like oh these people are crazy joe yeah which is in the scripted version called unreal. I've only seen like two episodes. It's an it's a great show. Yeah but it's not you know. Say It's real. I mean there's some parts that are definitely I mean we. We weren't behind the scene so we don't really know yeah. It didn't feel that crazy. I find it with kids. I mean Evan watches but it's hard for me to even watch anymore because it's bath time in bedtime. Yeah so like like last night. I think I thought thirty minutes and then it was three hour one. I was going to that. So there's three hours I think yeah. I miss it now Seinfeld. The show's change show much since like a few years ago and instagram takeover influence. It's all good stuff so clarify. I wasn't calling you guys crazy. Oh we are the most fun one. Okay so meeting on the spinoff. Yes.

We'll talk about that and you know what. What is your message? Edge to America and to those in power at this point about addiction in this country and this epidemic. Well I in terms of move treatment and recovery. I think addiction is the classic case of what I talk about not all the time. which is people closest to the problem? Know best how to solve it. The best counselors are people who have overcome addiction themselves. How's the best programs are those that are grounded in a local community so that someone who gets through recovery actually has a community unity to return to part of what has to happen so many of the fixes are local? And it's why from from a policy point of view I think more money needs to flow locally. There are some things the federal government can do hippo laws. Get in the way. Honestly I mean hip. Allies were designed to protect people's privacy but the impact they actually have sometimes too often is to isolate someone from everyone. WHO's trying to help them? Um I can remember desperately trying to find doctors. Our daughter was going but I can't and when we finally found someone and they said I can't tell you anything they at least had the heart to say I can listen to you but I can't tell you anything. And so part. Part of what happens with addicts. Is they get isolated and they get they spend all their time with people like them and they're divorced from those was who can help them and it is an enormous waste of potential and I am delighted that the state's attorneys-general general are suing these drug companies. Because there's no question that just as the cigarette companies knew that cigarettes were addictive. The drug companies knew with these drugs were addictive and they did not level with people and they were over prescribed and the medical community is complicit as well you grew up with a fear of death. Yes isn't that child and you've gotten over it. You told a reporter for the National Review. I believe it was that when you're running for president you said I'm not afraid of anything anymore. So there's a lot of progress. Why were you scared to die? When I don't know I ah in thinking about it as an adult? I think it must have been because I knew that my father's father had died when he was Zhang and that my mother's mother had died when she was young and so there was this sense of sudden sure traumatic loss that suffused the Family Lor and so i. My fear was my parents are going to die suddenly and then my I'm going to die suddenly must be why so. How did you go from being afraid? Afraid of dying young too as a candidate for president being able to say. I'm not afraid of anything anymore. Really nothing nothing. Nothing scares Carly Fiorina practice. Honestly what I mean by practice is practice in overcoming fears. Everything I feared in my life has happened to me not dying but I feared my mother would go unexpectedly and I. I wouldn't be able to reach her and speak to her time it happened. I fear getting cancer. I feared child dying. I feared bad headlines. Everything I've been afraid of in my my life. I feared the Strip club. I feared looking like a fool. I feared all these things. Some of those fears were profound. Some of them were silly but the point is every the time I got through one of them. Yeah I was less afraid and so- practice makes perfect when it comes to learn courage and becoming fearless. Okay so you brought up the Strip club which obviously going to bring up for those. Who Haven't read your book yet? This is the moment. Meant when you're working your way up the corporate ladder and this is where you argue. Name your fear so who took you do the Strip club and why. Why did it eventually help you? Well first of all I wasn't working my way up the corporate ladder. Being far too general you know I was at the bottom of the corporate ladder and I had no notion Russian of working my way up the corporate ladder. This was my first job outside of the secretarial pool and finally getting an MBA. I mean I was a nobody I had honestly. My prayer prayer at the end of each day was please let me keep my job. I thought I was GONNA get fired every day because I didn't know what I was doing so I wasn't working my way up but my colleague colleague who I had been paired with and you can imagine he was not thrilled with this. Who is this young woman? She doesn't she. You can't teach me anything or bring any value. And he kind of wanted to scare me out of my job and so he did honestly what he always did. He always went to a strip club. Love for lunch with these particular clients. That's what they did and they thought why should I change it for her. So he said we're going to the Strip club you can't come. Sorry you're not GonNa meet the clients. I was scared really scared. I was scared of looking stupid which I did. I was scared of going into a screwed. Could've club I never been in such a situation but the more I thought about it what I realized I was even more afraid of is not being given the chance to do my job trying to scare me out of doing my job and so I decided I gotta show up. I gotTA show up and you know you've heard the old saying life showing up optus half the battle. It actually is half hour more argue. It's more so I showed up and once I showed up it wasn't as terrifying as I thought and the young women were very kind to me and everything in the office changed because people decided I had a little more guts than they realized and they decided he was kind of a classless guy for putting me in the situation in the first place again courage you went when when have you been most courageous in your life. And what have you been leased courageous. I don't know the thing. I The reason I'm hesitating over that question is I do think I am least courageous. When I don't stop and think about it I think courage takes reflection? It takes introspection and so if I react in the moment to something I am not likely to be my best if I take the time to think.

"That's a no brainer. What when you were in school, like as in elementary, what kind of student were you. I always was worried about, like doing badly in class. I do remember in this is like, you know, when you think back and like your first memories. This is one of my first memories at school. I think I was in kindergarten and the teacher had given me an aim minus on something. I was like very upset and it was an orange pen, and I remember I took a crayon and I made the minus into a plus. And I took it back up there and she was like, did you make this obviously like a crayon and opin like it's very different. It's even the different color. Orange energy was like, did you do this? Oh, no, that no, this is. I feel like if I was teacher that point, I'd be like this genius or this girl is going to be really bad. You know. I don't. I think that was one of the first time I was ever very rebellious now. I would like never do that. Unlike terrified now I think I was always like a good, a good student, like always wanted to do good in school. Yeah, that was always like one of my things. But in fifth grade, I got super sick and I was out they had to have a meeting to see if I could even pass the grade because I would go to school every single morning and I would walk in and I'd smell the smell of the cafeteria. And I would throw up and. And they couldn't figure out if it was like anxiety or the. I was in the hospital like three or four times 'cause I throw up so much. I would get hydrated, and teachers were so mean one of my teachers wouldn't let me go to the bathroom anymore, and she made me throw up in the trash cannon run of everybody own. My one of my one of my teachers like wouldn't let me go to like recess, even on the days that I didn't feel sick because she was like, you've been out of class too much like you deserved stay in here like it was really horrible. My aunt at the time worked at the school, and so when I was feeling really sick, I would just be like, screw it. Like, I, I don't know how to function. I can't stop throwing up. I'm super weak like, and so I'd go and she had a Tata second grade. She had a reading room made out of cardboard, refrigerator box, and I would just like go stay in there and like the teachers would come find me. And be like, like, tell you can't let Carly keep coming in here and she's like, what am I supposed to do? Like? She's sick and no one's listening. Like really horrible and off now, now I know that it was like, I'm sure a lot of it wasn't idea, but. I have horrible food allergies. So you know, I would go, I would eat like toast in the morning and cereal and all these things, and I have gluten allergy. That's like horrible. And you know, when you get sick, like my mom would feed me crackers like that was right. I have crackers and ginger ale, so it'd make it a thousand times worse and and it was just so weird back then because no one checked for food allergies. So fifth grade for me was just like this traumatizing experience because one, I just I don't. I didn't learn anything in fifth grade and there's lots of skills that you learn like math skills and even spelling and all these things. I'm still super bad and like I really did miss an entire your school and they probably should have held me back. But they were like, she's a good kid. She just doesn't. She's just sick. So like on a. What was it. Not like anti-anxiety, sort of until high school. And then Finally, I was like, I don't wanna take this anymore. Like I'm not like this isn't doing anything good for me. It was just making me like tired did zone. I was on anti anxiety meds in high school. Did they make you feel like a zombie?.
