"And you know the way that jose altuve hits is going to be different than the way that you were outrageous. It's going to be different than the way that carlos correa et cetera. Down the line but they all they all share You know you can definitely be selfish in this game if you want to Because you never know how long you're going to be with the team and maybe you wanna protect something that you know but I don't see that with this group. I see total team effort and guys helping their teammates out. Because they're all on the same rope. Astros a gm. James click tampa of quite a while longtime you mentioned clubhouse culture. That's an unbelievable franchises. You know what's the difference is. Do you see similarities in the clubhouse and can you compare the two and what the differences between tampa and here i mean. Each clubhouses is distinct clubhouses unique and the tampa clubhouse around have been different. You know year two years sometimes. Depending on who the club outliers are can be a quieter more stoic clubhouse But a team like that because they tend to be on the younger side. you know. it's it's a lot of young guys and if a young clubhouse for for For better worse than and you know we all know kind of that. Right right but You know the the astros club out here. It's it's very it's professional It you know guys are are determined. They take this thing very seriously and you can see it. Not just in how they behave themselves on the field but in how they're taking care of themselves off the field not only taking care of their bodies and and being serious about that but also being safe with everything else. That's going on. And we've seen what happens to teams that have to to battle covert outbreaks and i give a lot of credit for treating this as seriously as they have to put us in the best position possible compete be full strength. Our post is postseason experience in baseball overrated or underrated at dependent who won the last game. You know we we do a really good job giving you the choice. You got to have one or the other. You gotta have a team that's experienced or a team. That's a little bit young and naive. I know the mix would be nice but if you had to choose one is what is one overrated underrated experience. I mean they're they are both over and under at the same time. It is it we just after the game is over in the postseason if the experienced team one then we get a bunch of articles and a bunch of talk about how the postseason experience came true and if the inexperience team won we get a bunch of talk about how you know. Well they were too young or you know not. They didn't realize how big the pressure was because they'd never been there. I don't i don't think any one of us has a has a really good idea on on overrated underrated dot kind of thing I do think that there is a benefit of.

"Podcast episode. But this is really shaping up to be one of the craziest seasons in recent memory for the Yankees. Nobody saw this type of turnaround. Nobody saw this team being galvanized to this extent. Nobody saw the rotation being this good. And the great part about it all is that, yeah, the Yankees did need that kind of fire from Aaron Boone earlier this year when they weren't performing. But guess what? We'll take it at any point. You got to remember guys, Aaron Boone underwent heart surgery before this even started. I'm sure he was still taking time to recover. I'm sure he was still taking time to kind of find his bearings and find that passion deep within him to really get the team excited, go out there and look, he's say what you want about Aaron Boone. He's defended his guys in most spots. I know the beginning of this year. It's kind of been problematic because it's been a lot of defending players who have been underperforming. And it's been a lot of excuses. I think the famous one was baseball is hard. We heard that one earlier in the year. Yeah, we know it's hard. But for as much as you want to criticize Boolean, I know a lot of people don't like them. He's got his players backs. And it was clear last night. It was good that he didn't allow that situation to dictate the game. He nipped it in the bud. I know the strike. The strike zone definitely improved after that. But you don't want to be the manager standing in the dugout watching this kind of let this garbage strike zone continue for the entire game. He saw enough in the second inning. He was fed up. He went out there. He led his voice be heard, got ejected. Everyone gets pumped. And this is the kind of stuff that you need. And guess what? Why not like the team on fire.

"carlos correa" Discussed on The Sean Salisbury Show

"The hour we're going to discuss. And throughout this hour little more of the astros victory yesterday and how dusty baker felt but also espn coming out with teams. That are in a playoff run here and what they need in the second half basically the season by the trade deadline to I assume push over the top and give them a better chance to succeed. I haven't read it. But i have a hunch that we know what they're gonna say. Maybe it's different. Maybe it's different and we'll hear also with that. What buster only said about these. What major league baseball is going to do with this substance issue when it comes to pitchers in a memo and the enforcement of it all in the nine o'clock hour we'll roll through now and Pound out some of these top twenty five. E we haven't got a twelve year gets to twelfth one through twelve. Hasn't been released yet right tyler. So right now. It's only forty thirteen. So between lawrence and wilson lawrence has to be favourite ahead of wilson. I would think right. He's got wilson ahead of loves his upside. I'm a huge zack. Wilson fan. But i still think trevor lawrence is one of the top five or six assets in the nfl coming into this season. I think that he's going to be a great player as long as jacksonville dozen screw it up. I would also agree. And i would also say that wilson as far as one of the best assets in the league wilson is not far behind him. Zach wilson skill set and ability and magical may not be the word but explosive talent and confidence is unique. It is now when you say unique. Shall we sing guys like him. Yeah but we don't see guys like every day that Flick of the wrist and the ability to move and do all those things valley played at. Byu okay well. Then trae land play north dakota state okay. Then carson wentz played in north dakota state. Okay of play utah state. And no you're gonna tell me well to those guys haven't started yet but apparently they're all drafted high for a reason. So zack wilson's got now. Whether that means success we saw. Sam darnold hell. He had to get out of new. York's they damn near didn't ruin him but robert solly better than adam. Gaces zach whack. Wilson's mom is already love new york. She gets put into the new york post or whatever every day for some she post online. There you go zacks gonna be. He will have the ability to do some special things. The question is how do you build around. And then lords is gonna face the same thing. What are they going to put around him because both of them. I don't have a problem for looking at upside them there. I would fry flip it. I would have. Zack wilson ahead of the other guys. That were named. But i would have trevor lawrence a a bit ahead wilson at this stage with the ability. I think you're gonna have fun watching those to play football and right now neither team hence why both those guys were drafted into our very good right now. K twenty six twenty five. Whatever you're at twenty six is daniel jones. I consider all the yes. I do believe. That's very fair. I think and with a chance to to raise to rise up and be better. I think depending on saquon barkley progress and what they do at the wide receiver and how he elevates. I think daniel jones has been given somewhat. Now i know he's got to be more accurate and more consistent protect the ball better. It's underground too much. But i can tell you this. He hasn't had much of a chance that he keeps battling and compete. And i think that's about right for for for daniel jones. I'm all for that twenty fifth slot right around there. Yeah so he's number twenty six now number. Twenty five and twenty four also on the same team Jameis winston twenty-five tastes hill number. Twenty four tasted ill. He shouldn't even be in. The quarterback tastes taes. I'm with you taste. Meal doesn't belong in the top thirty two if you want to put him in a backup category and put him in. The other tastes them. Hills better quarterback at this stage of the game then didn't kellen mind but mondavi better pure thrower i. He's a swiss army knife. And the best in the league and deebo samuel. Probably second. But i think that this is a. I don't have him now. He may end up winning the quarterback job. I don't know. I don't know if he's going to win it. And if james doesn't protect the ball they're going to play somebody else hell ian books on their to their. They'll play tastes. James doesn't protect it but jason. I mean but pajamas ability and his ability to throw is so much better than tatum hill. I don't consider tayshiaaa appear quarterback. Nor would i put him as the twenty fifth best back in the league. Playmaker maybe quarterback now and it'll be a fun battle. James belongs in there because of his ability. He's got to protect the ball. Better taste hill should not even be in the top thirty two and i love him as a player. I just don't pure quarterback if you knew he had to do in a different system could take some. He'll go and do what they do. A radar system. Mike my answer is probably not real consistent. They utilize imperfect he should not be in the thirty two. When it comes to quarterbacks. I also agree with that one hundred percents number. Twenty three and twenty two is ryan fitzpatrick at twenty three and big ben at twenty two. And that's pretty fair football. Yeah i do. I still think big bins. Got the ability to reach. That's disrespectful even at is advanced age. There's still a lot of young quarterbacks he's going to have some other ones that i haven't even heard replace him. That are worth it. P. play seventeen games. He's throwing for four thousand plus and thirty touchdowns this year. I think part of it is because his receivers do not do a very good job of getting open last year. At least not on him. I still through for thirty eight hundred fifteen games last year. Thirty three touchdowns ten picks and you know. We called it a bad year. I think that's majorly disrespectful. He's way too low. Yeah way too low. We'll we'll we'll guys will finish will come back. Finish a few at the top pop into some baseball. Give our. we'll we'll. We'll get a plethora of this stuff in as far as who'd you say the fitzpatrick that's that's good. I like him. I actually think that I just love him because no matter what system you throw at him he learns. It doesn't matter what what starter. He's got beat out. He competes doesn't matter how long he's been in the league ryan fitzpatrick got that hell. He'll play for all thirty two if he has to. That's called smarts Harvard guy knows how to be smart. Keep getting paid as long as they want to pay you to do those things because no money you're gonna make outside of now. He may be a brilliant in his next career but he's also productive in this one. I have no problem there. I think ben roethlisberger especially when some of these names. You're gonna throw at me or ahead of him that that's to me. Complete disrespect to ben rothlisberger. After thirty touchdown ten pick season and it was a bad season considered for him. Thirty eight hundred yards as mc gave the numbers that is way. I think that ben roethlisberger probably it doesn't have to be ten slots higher. But i still have trouble keeping him out of the top twenty until you proved me those guys ahead of him and i can't wait to hear the list sportstalk seven ninety lot of baseball and our number in our number four. "Seven hundred sean. Salisbury show joined now by astros general manager james. Click got feel pretty good about what's going on with this team but is is the case. It's a long season. I'll start here james i. I'd be hard pressed that when everything is good. And he's healthy as he is now to find a more talented player not only his position but in the league. Carlos correa is in rarified air. When he's right. Yeah no question. And i think the big thing is that he's really starting to turn on the ball and be aggressive And we saw that last night with a three To the left side Including what i think might be the highest home run I've ever seen But you know he's been working hard with our hitting coaches on some mechanical things that he wants to get right and it looks like it's starting to pay off is he's definitely locked in right now and it's fun to see well. I just taken over his agency. And i'd like to reopen negotiations. A i listen i could. He is n james. It's a unique situation. I want to have to get into my thing. I'm only kidding. Hammer that another time when when it gets close. We're talking baseball now. But it's really got to be one of the things when you say okay. The guy's in his final year. There's no secret about that and you want to go. I mean it's a good problem to have right him playing like this great leadership you win and him healthy while it puts pressure on everybody but man. This is kind of the way you want it going into this season. Right james one hundred percent no i. I know that sometimes people think that you know if we had conversations and they didn't ultimately lead to an agreement on some level. We don't want people to succeed. That couldn't be further from the truth. We are on the same team here. We all want the same thing we want him to have an mvp. All star season I you know. I want him to win the world series. Mvp because i mean we won the world series and then we figured out that but You know watching him play at the elite level that he plays that is really a joy and it's fun to watch him when he walked in like. He is right now to the pitcher. We go james before you. Let's see was it before you got here. But you know about him obviously and tanya and you don't know but i can remember him. You and i have discussed this pitching through struggling to get through times in frahm valdez about okay. All that great stuff but fighting through crap that sometimes people got away through. That's not a problem anymore. The stuff is stupid. good. I contend that and whoever starts i is one thing that from is got ace stuff and that if i was in a world series starting him in game one wouldn't be a problem. I think he's good. We're am i on this. I think you're dead on And he's a guy that before. I got here. I knew him by reputation. Obviously mike trout set some very complimentary things without him. The curve ball..

So he's awesome going, Kevin. Carlos Correa column A clown hey, didn't want to hear it and then, But he acknowledges What we all acknowledge is that when Dusty Baker's in the dugout out here in baseball in the major league out since 1968, okay? Here He is in 2020, still wearing the sweat The wrist bands and CC acknowledges that he's got to feel he's got the fields for dusty. I'm so conflicted because I'm so close to dusty and I loved dusty and he's like, you know, like a big uncle. He's like, That's my guy. So yeah, to be managing. I'm happy that he was able to win. Another playoff series shows are greater manager he is But CC great sound to very, very good man. Hey, And then last one here. Ah, listener turned us on to this. He says. Hey, you guys might want to check out Trevor Bowers. You too. You know Trevor Bauer. Where's T shirts that says I want to get to 100,000. YouTube follows and I don't know. Yeah, and hey, had Eric Gagne on Air Gagne, you remember was the roided out Dodgers pitcher who faced a roided out Barry Bonds. I was lucky enough to be at that game. When Bonds hits the line shot home run of the center field fence. Giants still lose that game, actually. They also had an occasion where bond singled off Aghani and drove in Bonn. Benito Santiago that led to gun You rip the phone off the wall member. Yeah, great. Gani A BA and this was on Trevor Bauer's podcast, called Bauer's Bites. And gone. You talked about the backstory of him and bonds. There's a whole story behind it because me and him. We went to Japan to and a half years before and remember. He's getting Walker's chickens everywhere, Francisco You know, nobody pitched. It comes up to me goes eyes me, John B. And a couple of days I was just sitting there in the clubhouse and It was the Tokyo Dome and were centered all tired because it's 4 30 in the afternoon. I was like 5 30 our time and we're sitting there and nobody thinks me ever, man. Know what Mike very mean. I'm in the game. It's one only I'm never gonna face you're the best in the world. My opinion is the best I ever step. On the field that might My face he goes. Come on 2.5 years later, and I will. One day if I had, like a three round lead, Whatever. So that was the day. Okay, So you said by the way, they're just eating away in that podcast, Right munching and the chewing and the moisture in the saliva kind of bummed me out. But anyway s O. Yeah, We have a backstory Bond saying I want to face you want to face you in Japan? Then Bon says there was he laid down some ground rules here. We were in the clubhouse. Yeah, and they're looked at me. He goes. Hey, you ever gonna face means I will. But he's got to be certain scenarios. I get no change up on my No change of like, I can I throw up so he goes. Yeah. One off speed. My It's a curveball 16 on my way by those. Yeah, because you can't change it like the best pitch in baseball during that every deal. I don't care, but, you know, but I gotta throw offspeed. There's no only one of my Do you know it's gonna be a curveball? There it is that they wanted going pitch by pitch, but it's a little long but good stuff. We could get into a little bit later in the show. I think unless hopes you thinkit's it too long in Injun as a minute, why don't we do it? Actually, let's do it right now. We're good. We had no guests on the other side. And to leave everybody hangings. No boy now, So here's Gani and Trevor Bauer breaking down the bonds gone yet bat pitch my pitch on the video before this about like you, Khun. "There's too many gray weapons. I liked the Kansas City Chiefs to take on the Patriots game. Those verses the rate I'm going to bills the bills are again 3 and oh, they look good. They had a great win. I mean, they almost blew the win against the Rams last week, but they hung on for the win. I like both low against the Raiders Eagles versus the 49ers. We always San Francisco. I think San Francisco again is just what they showed last week. I get it was a bad Giants team, but what they show is all those pieces missing, it's still go get a win handily like no problem. So like San Francisco to take on the Eagles and take them down. Finally Green Bay versus Atlanta. I'm sorry. I am going to have to go with cream Bay. I have seen nothing from Atlanta to make me think that they can go into Green Bay and get a win or even hold a lead. I've seen nothing from them to make me think that long Green Bay. Again, Aaron Rodgers just playing lights out right now putting himself into a brace for the MVP contention along Russell Wilson, but I had just Atlanta just I'm sorry. Yo, Able, you can't hold a lead and Rogers. Nothing's going to blow a lead. I like Green Bay twitter shout-out from at say it out loud sp1000. He's got an upset as far as the Lions beating the Saints and he's saying that the Dolphins are going to cover versus Seattle now again, I don't do the cover, but I'm reading it cuz it's their choice. So again lines he's got lines upsetting the Saints at Detroit. Now those again, those are all my week 4 Picks want to close this episode talking about the MLB playoffs and I want to talk about the Houston Astros because I'm says pretty much all year. Here's Nationals right now are very lucky. Okay, they are going to get all these stadiums with no fans and not getting booed or anything and yet we are sitting here saying Carlos Correa. We're pretty much getting our comments of well, it was here. But we're here. I love this comment. I know a lot of people are mad. I know a lot of people don't want us to see us here. But what are they going to do now after you beat a Minnesota Twins team that has lost. I can't believe this stat eighteen straight postseason games 18th Street, Carlos Correa. Congratulations on continuing to beat a team that doesn't win in the playoffs. I'm happy for you really am and I'm happy that God. I love what the other day. I was game was on and they were showing like the stats. I think they're showing like hitting percentage at home and like fastball like hits batting average or whatever. It was is 217. They were first in both categories 2020. They were ninth and tenth wonder why would terrible this year? Oldest shortened season no, no. No, you're terrible dish here because you got caught stealing signs with a trashcan technology all that stuff off. No wonder why you were back and congratulations for making the playoffs and I'm very shortened year on a playoff run or whatever was almost it seemed like half of the American League was allowed to join. So congratulations. I'm very happy for you guys. Do I want to see you in the win the World Series? Absolutely not, you know, why because you should not even be in the playoffs in the first place. You guys ruined careers. You ruined people's lives pretty much. Okay, you took away awards from players that actually deserved them. Why should we be sitting there saying? Oh like what like you think we're gonna forget know and guess what next year off and when fans are allowed to be in the same. They're going to still boo in Heckle you deal with it you brought this on yourself and Carlos. I'm telling you right now. I don't care like Berlin or get my favorite player and I lost respect for him because he knew about all that. He knew you gotta steal this science and yet. It's still went on. And then and then what was that someone came out? I think it was you Korea that came out and said, oh, well, it wasn't really helping it was definitely helping you the stats show it everything shows helping you guys. Don't you tell me it wasn't helping you and your GM's as well. We don't think you actually change the outcome. Yeah did of pit like think about this a hitter is so good at hitting a 90 some mile-per-hour ball, right a little white ball one from like 6:45 p.m. 6 if you let me know what the distance from the mound to home plate. I don't know what it is, but he has to find that in a Split Second. Or see if it's a breaking ball, but these guys know when they see fact well, they know when fast balls coming when they leaves the hand of the picture they know it. So how as a professional hitter long. Are we going to say because if I don't know if if I know down to the fast balls coming I don't have an advantage. Are you kidding? Yes you do. So that's why we're all upset and we're saying we're manager there. You should not be in the playoffs. You should not be given the World Series piece of metal. As Rob Manfred said you should be giving you a ring back because you guys did not deserve that. I'm not saying that the Dodgers deserve the World Series I'm saying no one did that year deleted and I know there's a huge asterisk by your guys names and I love Rob Lowe. He made those hats out of the Houston Astros with a Houston Astros in the center of it. Beautiful. I should buy me one of those. But I probably won't wear her but still so Carlos Correa. "I just think that the matchup of what they bring defense is going to slow down while the Titans do on offense Ben. Roethlisberger has looks solid and again not effective as far as like the four hundred yards or whatever. He has nothing Big Bend, but I'm going to go with the Steelers in this one Giants versus the Rams. I think the Rams be the giant land. That's why I don't think it's close. I think the Giants are bad there continue to be bad. They're always going to be bad until I don't know until the gym and management whatever it is just all change Patriots versus the Chiefs. I like this matchup Agony over the Chiefs Chiefs. I think you're going to they're going to blow the doors wide open. I think Patrick Mahomes showed against Baltimore that what he can do will be consistent is just dead when you give him a little bit of Kris, he's going to take it every time as far run the ball when you given time he's going to find somebody to open. The Houston Astros star Carlos Correa. Thiss was what end of the sixth inning. So Los Angeles Dodger? Ah, Joe Kelly. Marked Carlos Correa after striking Correa out. This was the sixth inning Calling the cheater and then telling him nice swing bitch. Oh, Mike. And, uh, In this frame. Kelly nailed Astros third baseman Alex Bergman in the back with a 96 mile put our fastball and took a shot at Korea near his head and it miss because the shortstop hit the ground to avoid the contact. In that same at bat. Correa The same at bat with Korea. Kelly struck him out with a slider out of the zone and started making faces as he walked off the mound and then video shows the right handed pitcher, calling him every name in the book before Korea. Started making his way toward the job. Dodgers dugout. And in the middle of covert 19 here and the challenges that Major league baseball has right now with, especially the Miami Marlins. Certainly, folks, this would not be social distancing. We had a little between innings.

"Now, I look at Carlos Correa as as a guy that just a year ago people were buying in off the twenty seventeen as a potential op. Obviously, you know, maybe even top five talent when all said and done there was that potential there. I definitely agree that if you're looking around especially this year in snake drafts, and you don't wanna play the Carreira price that Corey Seager is a pretty good pivot because I don't think there's that much of a gap right now, I understand both have injury issues. I think last year was a year where you kinda crumpled up and throw it away for Korea. I just think he was never healthy. And you go back and you see at age twenty two what he's doing in two thousand seventeen. It's stunning. And I know it's only one hundred nine games, but it is a stunning number and he is just twenty four. So the pull young thing the problem. I have there is I get that in auctions. I think that's a perfectly good pivot because I think it's easier in a lot of ways to come back from a bad picking a snake draft than it is a bad pick an auction because what happens is when you invest in a player in an auction, and they backfire and you've already committed a fair amount of budget. It has a ripple effect all around your roster. Whereas it's one round isolated. It didn't work out. Okay. I have other rows. Thank you make that up, and we're all on the same page. But all of a sudden if I spend ten fifteen dollars it's going to affect not just one other pick. Maybe it's gonna affect three four five other picks on my roster. And I think that's where I think the young argument auctions comes more into play than in snake dress. Well, it can really have a an effect though. If you have roster cap limits in season two if you put twenty five thirty dollars on a guy that doesn't work out and then moving him or kind of maneuvering around him can be difficult at times I've run into some issues at times because we have a cab and every free agent costs a minimum of ten dollars. When you when you have them. So then all of a sudden, you're kinda trying to finagle things that can be difficult. Just and I want to pin down a little bit more because people here, you know, the Korean young thing, you acknowledge I hope or maybe not that there's a severe talent gap though, right for sure. In baseball talent. Or even pure fantasy baseball talent. Like if I was playing on MLB the show or if I was the manager. Of course, I want Korea over diong. I mean, that's not a question, but like go even look at the projection systems because the projection systems this year all have pretty much except for steamer all have Correa at six hundred played appearances or more. And then go look at the ones for young. They all have him ex- except or well, two of the two of the four have him at over six hundred played parents the other to have them about five fifty the stat lines aren't that different in the real difference is the average? So if you is twenty fifteen to twenty points of average worth one hundred something picks, a hundred twenty banks that I think that's really the question here, and you know, with the there was some improvement in his plate skills. They were brutal and seventeen he kind of just hit through them. Really? Because everything he put the ball on. Put the bat on seeming to be ninety five plus mph hit or even if it an out. It was laced. And so he just kinda hit through the twenty eight percent five percent strikeout..

"Three runs for young hint to sixty three thirty nine homers, one forty nine one forty two and two seventy eight for credit. So he has advantages everywhere, but the homers, but he's also a hundred and forty picks morning. I think that was kind of Justin's point was that you're replicating what we've gotten out of Korea hundred forty picks later now again, I broke away from him on the Seger. Put hate in quotes. 'cause they don't really think he hated him. He's still just didn't really like him. I think at eighty one eighty two that's finally a good price for Seger, and I'm in on buying his talent. But how do you feel about this little trio here Correa say Seger into young and bypassing career? For one of the other two. Well, I understand people's frustrations with Carlos Correa. But if you don't watch Carlos Correa play in rookie. He's a special talent. I mean, this guy just everything looks easy. When he does it. And I remember when he was first drafted number one overall. You know, I don't like the whole can't miss thing. I always think that's a that's fallible it's unfair to put on players and it'd been on fair. But to me he was the easiest player. I had seen personally since Alex Rodriguez where everything just looks so easy to that kid. And I think that what happens is to. I mean, I remember Anthony Rondo not that long ago where a couple of injured seasons. People started to give up this sort of cash in not forgetting just how highly regarded and highly touted he was and the adjustment patient realized while he's still young don't check out yet. And I remember so when people were out on rundown, and eventually the price went way too far, and I bought everywhere and that was the big rebound season and ever since he's been a very reliable player..

"Erin ballpark in the second inning round up with the three hit day including bloop single for the game winning hit so he's coming as advertised yeah no doubt no doubt you know this we've all seen you know guys come into touted his great prospects that this guy does seem to be a little bit different in i think that that maybe richard saw with carlos correa you've may have seen with lindores some some guys who set themselves apart and it's seems like it kuna does that the other thing is it just it adds toward his team already as with ozzy albee's dan's swanson now coming into his own there's just a lot of speed on a lot of speedway speed power mix you know i don't know what be is going to continue to do with his power but but here we are nearing the na bruins as most extrabase hits in big lake baseball are in major league baseball and and you've got you know freddy freeman there in the middle who knows if they're gonna bring in as it does as battista what what will happen there but but there's just such a great mixture at a kuna just kinda just adds to ease that cherry on top but he's as a pretty significant cherry it's just a he's a true five tool talent and it's gonna continue to create excitement every time he steps on the field as you've watched are you surprised at how quickly this has happened with albee's being this good and swanson turning a corner and now kunia here are are you surprised how it's all come together so fast.

"Well i was at the phillies game last night so i didn't see the game i read about the game and look i just think that this is hard what he's trying to do you know he's he's trying to do different things that people haven't done before but he's also you know your own game just thing it is one thing you know the balls different the routines are different the schedule and all that stuff but when you throw in the factor of trying to you know pitch against the lineup with george springer is in the alto bays and carlos correa and you know the group they have i mean that adds another element to it so it's funny without tony i just think you know he everybody tries to draw lessons on each performance you know he he gets the spring training and he's not hitting well and he's never gonna hit he staring some and then he has you know it's a home or three days in a row and he's great we you know we we messed up and we miss judge them i mean i just think he's a rookie and he's gonna go through terms he's gonna go through days where it's just not easy you know and so it is but as far as the rivalry it's funny i saw you posted that on twitter the other day and you got a lot of backlash from red sox and yankees fans you know typically and i think look you could argue that that rivalry is is going to be really good this year i think the point you make about the astros and the angels as it's just it's fresh you know it's a rivalry that we haven't seen at this level at all and i think you know red sox and yankees i think our dodgers and giants people are custom to those but when you see two teams like this that really have high aspirations there's a sort of failing of excitement that's you know just born out of freshness.
