"This is the Gemayel report with Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose. The fight continues. I love it. When Maryland Haider goes ahead and steals my teas and Gives you this story before I can give you the story. That's okay. That's because she's good at what she does. Aziz was just reported the county, San Diego decided not to appeal the judge's decision in hole. Ah, the county of supervisors decided to narrow cast their appeal. Uh it seemingly is starting to develop, perhaps even what would be a compromise here. They're only appealing the ban, their only appealing the lifting of the ban on indoor dining, as well as the lifting of the ban on strip clubs. Therefore, they are saying we're okay with the outdoor dining remaining. Uh, open. So that is a big development. The county of San Diego will be appealing, but their arguments will be different, um than the state of California. My hope is that the county supervisors that Are interested in having outdoor dining approved. They need to meet with the county lawyers and make sure that they are faithful to the will of the county board. Um So Fletcher getting back to Fletcher. Uh, there is, uh, this argument that he makes it the very end, So we basically have gone through and exposed the fact that he complains the judge had no data. It's actually the county that did not give data to the judge repeatedly. And the same thing happened in L. A And the county public health officer basically agrees with the people that brought the lawsuit and the judges, quoting the county public health officer. Hey, then says we're doing it all in the name of public health. And of course that reveals that he doesn't really understand the U. S Constitution and the protocols for these public health orders. You have to show that your public health remedy Your limitation, your lockdown. Whatever your regulation is narrowly tailored and absolutely justified by the data. That is what the U. S. Supreme Court has stated. As recently as Thanksgiving. That is now what the U. S. Supreme Court has used in not one, but two but three separate cases. Throwing out covered 19 restrictions in the blue states. The past two weeks. So long. This seems to be clarifying. Even the Fletcher also says the judge handed down a ruling that was confusing. No, it was It was plain English. It was surprising which lead to confusion. But the ruling itself is quite clear. County doesn't have the data. County public health officials, Dr Wilma Wooten. Agrees with the plaintiffs. In this case, air go I as judge will agree with the plaintiffs as well. So finally He wants to wrap it up with now that I've told you that I'm right and you're wrong. Let me also let you know that I really don't want to hurt the restaurants. I don't want jobs to be destroyed. And you know what? The restaurant industry agrees with me on this one. Already lost enough of the coffee that was drinking, spinning it up on the science side that this is, you know, I just got fired on this one. Here's Nathan Fletcher trying to claim that even the restaurant industry knows that he's not the bad guy. He's doing nothing wrong. He's not trying to hurt them. No. A big bag, boogie man. This cove. It Audio number nine and so no one wants to close any businesses at all. None of us want to be doing any of this. I went outside business under the other day and their businesses closing because they went through a Coben and he said, Nathan, You didn't close my business to public health ordered and close my business. Cove in 18 Close my business. There are negative impacts from the things that are being taken, but they are less severe than what will happen and what I fear will becoming in the weeks and months ahead. Uh huh. It sounds awfully similar to, uh, Barack Obama. You didn't build that business. I built that business. Yeah. You didn't close that business coming 19 close that business. You realize no one like thinks the way you are, Nathan. They know that No one said that to you. No same business owner, Particularly a restaurant owner would look you in the eye and say, Gee, Nathan, I know it's not your fault. I know you didn't close my business. I know that you're only following the science, which, by the way, all the restaurants know the science is not existent. I know that you're absolutely right that even though Los Angeles shut down all their restaurants in March And they're having the same covert 19 surge that we're having here in San Diego and our restaurant. Shut down. You know what? 45 weeks ago for indoor? Um, I know that somehow, you know that these cases are actually all driven by the restaurant industry. No. No one said that David No one said that Um What you're trying to do is pretend like All the carnage all the job losses, all the pain all the suffering all the businesses that have gone under It's not your fault. It's really better for them in the long run. I love how he says it's better for you in the long run, because the pain today will be worth the salvation of saving the lives long term. Hold on a second. We've had the worst lockdowns. Here in California. And yet we have the same sort of covert 19 search. Meanwhile, in red states that did not have these severe lockdowns. They're also seeing an increase in coded So tell me why the lockdowns We're worth it. Days and Fletcher Can you.

"Tamayo Report with Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose. C'mon now moved from vaccines to vaccinations, and it would be a great tragedy if disparities actually worsened because the people who could most benefit from this vaccine won't take it. The story behind the story. Joe Biden lied on the debate stage, he said. There's nothing happening, nothing happening and built. I should have stepped up. Fight continues. All right. Lots of news today. Obviously, with the electoral college formally meeting and you know Biden receiving at least As it goes to the House representatives the requisite number of votes to be president elect. But the big news today is Mission impossible ended up being achieved by President Trump. He was able to get this vaccine done in record time, just as a way to put it in the context. That's what a big accomplishment this is for his administration and why we should all be celebrating this, and everyone involved. The researchers, the innovators, the drug companies, etcetera. Just remember what NBC told us. Remember NBC infallible Media, the ones that we should listen to, because they know everything. Audio three from May 15 2020 Audio three when President Trump announced Originally that they were going to do a vaccine and they were going to do it by the end of the year. This is what NBC had to say. Audio three Dr Redlener more experts today forced to in other words, sing for their supper. The health and Human Services secretary who's literal first words were to thank the president for his leadership. The American public was today promised. The promise was held out that we'll have a vaccine by the end of this year. Is that possible? In your view, O'Brien you know it's no day of POTUS in Wonderland here. It is preposterous to make that statement and also to kind of mislead the American people about what's possible. It's not possible. We could have a vaccine in two months if we wanted to forgo the absolutely critical phase of long. Human testing to make sure that the vaccine works and most importantly that it's safe. It is impossible to get that done by the end of the year. Preposterous. I say impossible. I'll tell you and of course, where the accolades for President Trump. Okay. He's not out there for the accolades. Uh, but when the media loses more credibility, I mean, let's Yeah, none of these experts should ever be allowed on TV ever again. Plain and simple. And of course, we are talking about Brian Williams. That was Browning Brian Williams's voice. They're the same guy who said he was there and witnessed Lincoln's assassination in 18 64. Or 18 65? Yeah, he's out there. Still apparently pretending to be a journalist on an NBC network. Um, how's it gonna be distributed in San Diego? We're gonna get about 33,000. We already have 33,000 today. Doses, medical workers and congregate care. Nursing home residents will be the first to get this vaccine that's about 7% of our population or roughly 245,000. Individuals need to be vaccinated first. They believe that we're gonna have 20 million Americans fully vaccinated. So the first dose and the second dose by the end of this year 12 31. In other words, 2.5 weeks from now. They also believe that another 30 to 40 million will be in in process by the end of the year and waiting for their second dose in the early part of January. That's damn impressive, Okay? Um, so that's something to celebrate. We will be giving you updates as to the protocols, the locations to go, but just recognize that if you're like me I'm in the bottom 85% 85 to 90 85 100%. I'll be the last to get this vaccine, um, not complaining. But, you know, I think we're I think we're gonna end up arguing and fighting over the, um, very stringent. Protocols that they're going to use for who gets to TB at the front of line again. Medical workers Everyone agrees, but Prisoners in prison. Yeah. No, no, no. Can't can't accept that. Speaking of prisoners in prison, Covert 19 has been quite a nice little boon for them. Not only did we bring you the story about their their you know, applying for unemployment benefits $400 million that went to prisoners. They think $2 billion in overall. Um um uh, erroneous and fraudulent payments haven't paid out for unemployment. But now an Orange County judge has said that that county has to reduce its Jail population by 50%. And that's because civil rights attorneys filed a lawsuit to open up the jails. That's right. It's not civil rights attorneys. Let's call it what it is. People on the left. The Democrats believe that we should be letting people out of jail. Carl, That's not fair. That's not true. Oh, yeah? Yeah. These are the same people who support the elimination of bail, Um, to make it easier to get people out of jail. These are people who say Well, you know the prisons and jails are quote overcrowded. And, you know, we need to let them out. Early Release s. Oh, yeah. This is part and parcel and all they're doing is you're using covert 19 as a convenient excuse to, you know, let these people out. So in the name of making sure that they're safe from covert 19. We're going to make their victims. Maura Unsafe. Then what about that battered wife for battered girlfriend who worries that her attacker is now able to get out of jail? We also have public defenders that air boo hooing saying that our caseload is going up L A Times has a story today. Quote with L. A courts paralyzed, recovered 19 Public defenders say Coastal Coastal caseloads are quote unconscionable. Well, if people weren't out there committing so many crimes, and maybe your caseloads wouldn't be so high. Don't blame the taxpayer for that. But I'm the criminal. Um.

"Report next Who's ready. Go, 600 Coco! This'll is the Gemayel report with Carl Tamayo and Lou Penrose. The fight continues. Okay, so we just heard a district attorney bringing charges forward on something we've known for a long time. Fraudulent unemployment insurance applications have been something that California has struggled with for decades in particular, in the past 567 years as we've expanded the benefits And when covert 19 came along The E T T program didn't have the ability to actually process legitimate claims. Millions of Californians saw a huge delays and we still see delays. 1.6 million. Applications that are still pending. And then we found out that they were just willy nilly disapproving benefit applications with really huge red flags. I mean, think about it this way. We just read you the name of one of the applicants. Uh, dirty britches. No, no, I'm sorry, Poopy. Poopy Britches was the name. Another name was just John Doe John Doe. Now, um, For those of you who say Coral Lou, There's no election fraud. You know, people can't apply the O registered to vote illegally, Really? We're paying them tens of thousands of dollars in unemployment benefits, right. Okay, so don't give me this crap that whole Californians real people are sitting at home, waiting for their unemployment check to be processed. And so this is something that's been known in particular is released a covert benefits since March, April, and May We covered it on this show extensively, then, through June, July, August, September, October, we continue to beat the drum. So now that we have a billion dollar, uh, estimate on the fraud and hundreds of millions of dollars in involved in the prosecution that's been brought by these. These district attorneys. Um where is the real outrage for the real the real person responsible for this? And that person is Gavin Newsom. That's right. This guy is sitting again. He gets a pass by the liberal media of California. It is grotesque. It is it is fraudulent. What went with the media has done to benefit him to gloss over to overlook his failings again. Matt Matt Hall of the Union Tribune. Don't even look at this in this direction with your heart all in mighty. I'm the president of the American Society of Professional Journalists. Now your group doesn't really exist. You're a phony baloney organization, because guess what if you journalists can't do your job in California on a softball talk topic like this? The failings at the E. D. D For unemployment insurance claims. Then, you know, Look, you could write as many Orangemen bad editorials as you want. You're a political hack. There is no journalism, you know, flowing through your blood veins. This is the real culprit is that we've got a governor that Needs to do his damn job. It hasn't done his job, And as a result, taxpayers are left holding the bag for millions and millions and tens of millions of dollars immediately of fraudulent crane claims. Nearly a billion dollars is the estimate and then we got 1.6 million. Applications that are still sitting waiting to be approved. It's absolutely responsible. You're absolutely right. By the way, there is a I appreciate. You know the DEA Emery Schubert saying that all we can do now is just prosecute on, Make sure the hole's closed. That isn't with all due respect. There is accountability here. This is a government organization. This is a government entity that that means that there is an appointed person in charge of this. There are certainly national societies or national associations of e d D heads. I'm sure that gather once or twice a year to go over best practices. It is impossible for them to not know that other states had stopgap measures from this happening and they didn't do anything about it. Why wasn't you know the governor's sending out a press release? Are you kidding me? Billions of dollars was lost. Stolen from the taxpayer. Why isn't he down there? Why? Why does he go down there? Why? Why isn't there any news roll roll of him going through the offices with whoever the guy is in charge down there or girl. There are data analytics programs that other states use across the country. This is not like California has the only unemployment insurance program in the country, right? We actually have, 50 said. Programs exams so you can benchmark you can look at what auditor you're auditing programs they use. You can look at Ah, upfront reviews on applications, but the very basic principle needs to be. We need a social security number. We need to validate your Um, uh, your legal status here and we need to prove who you actually are. And it, you know, poopy britches. I'm sorry. The probably doesn't have a Social security number probably doesn't Yeah, there. There's a this Carl. This all stem from this desire in the state of California to not be all that accurate with respect to people's names, identification, so security 10 number Yeah, they want to make sure that no one gets left out because they well know that there's a lot of people in the state of California who can't produce accurate information on themselves. On For some reason. There is this desire to make sure that they don't get left out of distribution money That isn't theirs. Because if you don't have a number to prove that you deserve it isn't yours to have you're stealing it. So they overcompensate in the other direction. So poopy britches, you know they get their check, too. That's right. And you know, at the same time as being unable to process claims for legitimate benefits and paying out fraudulent benefits. They're also setting up a program these they set up in March, a program for illegal immigrants to get monthly.

"This is the mile River with Carl Tamayo and debate last night was firebombed by Donald Trump. If I were team Biden, I would not do Another debate after this debacle. The story behind the story used the word smart. Don't ever use the word smart with me. Don't ever use that word. Give me because you know what? There's nothing smart about you. Jail fight continues. All right. 806 100 Kogo 806 105 646 at Carl Tamayo at Lou Penrose your take on last night's debate. S so let's give you an update on how many people actually watched it. The ratings are in And a total of 73 million Americans watched the debate last night. For at least a 15 minute increment. 73 million people, and that is actually down. A little bit from 2016 the first debate with Hillary Clinton. They got 84 million viewers. So I'm surprised to see that I thought that this would be a more watched event. Uh, but it's clubs. I mean, it's it's up there in the top tier of watched events. No question about it. I think people are spent. I think there's fatigue. I think the reason why they tuned in and ate in 2020 Sorry, 2016. Theeighty four million viewers, which by the way was a record was a record in 2016 of all debates in the history of the country. Televised. The reason why they tuned in is Trump had never been up against Hillary. And they thought, Oh, this is going to be a complete dumpster fire, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It wasn't a dumpster fire in 2016. Trump actually did a great job. Hilary kind of held her own but made a bunch of mistakes in that first debate. Last night was a unequivocal dumpster fire. And as we said, during the three o'clock hour, we believe that Trump probably ended up with a net benefit. Of the debate, primarily because just stylistically, he was stronger. Primarily because what did manage to get some punches in there and and policy issues that Biden, in contrast, was not looking good on, but he also I think just by effect of being so nasty and so much discord, and it was, you know, petty at times on both parts. I think the American people if they're saying, Well, I'm gonna vote for someone who's going to represent the US as a dignified statesman. They're turned. Definitely not saying Oh golly Biden is my choice because he was not dignified. There's no way you Democrats out there can say Oh, you did such a great job You so dignified now. What do you know? He's a clown. He was It was out there, you know, Also President in the history of the country. I mean, very undignified. I undignified I I'm I'm I'm trying to figure out how Biden, you know, gets around the issue of participating in next debate. The next debate. Carla's, you know, won't be like it was last night. It won't be just two guys on stage. The families and Chris Wallace is gonna be a crowd. It's a town hall. I don't know how they're really going to be able to control that The debate commission announced a few hours ago that they're considering devices. They're considering additional steps to ensure that what happened last night doesn't happen again. In one of the things that I endorse, and I think would be a good idea is that we should turn off the microphone. Um, after a set time women. Ah, Lou likes the back and forth. I think we can still do both. If you allow candidate you know, it is not two minutes, maybe three minute opening statement on each question that's asked each topic. Allow and then their their microphone cuts off a CZ. The other person gets three minutes, then allow a rebuttal. And then allow a six minutes from you know that way. At least you here three minutes from both sides Unadulterated. Ah, proactive statement, a reactive statement and then let him have a food fight. You can. You can structure it better. To allow back and forth but also allow both candidates to make their points. Press the otherside respond to the other side on DSO we've got. I guess you're right. I guess they oughta have, but I would. I don't want there to be long speeches, you know, you know, you know, Chris, I met this woman. I was just you know, it's some alabaster church and I met this woman who was telling me that their healthcare costs of men she had to make a choice. Between putting food on the I don't hear any of that crap. I can't stand that pandering. I can't stand the genteel discussion of bringing Americans together and we need a president who can unite is not divide is all that is out the window away. We're in a fight with these two. I think that that won't be a problem whatsoever because I think they will go after each other. That's what you saw last night. Now we may not have these rules going forward, but I think we need to clean up the act. The polling shows that about a third said Trump won, third, said Biden, one and a third said neither one last night. Google analytics showed that searches for the libertarian candidate skyrocketed up 700% during during the debate. Now, remember, I don't think there's a whole lot of people out there Googling for the libertarian candidate, Jo Jorgensen. But William well wears way well, but it is his ship came in, and he wasn't there. So bite is the Democrats are already out there trying to spin a narrative that Biden should not participate in the next debate. I knew that this was gonna happen. You and I both knew that they were fine. They were trying to find ways to get out of having to participate in the debate. On the media this morning was all about it. Hey, Trump should not have Ah, opportunity to disgrace them all the office. We had enough. We've seen enough. We don't need any more debates. And that would be a huge win provided by the way because early on in that debate last night on the first 3 to 5 minutes Biden was battling by was not on firm ground, and I thought, Oh golly, this is going to be great..

"Revolt with Carl Tamayo and before the plague came in from China way were going in a direction like we had never seen the most successful economy in the history of our country. The story behind the story. I'm here for one reason only, and that is America for more years of President Donald Trump. The fight continues. Right. So another police related shooting of an African American, This one in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and right now, Wisconsin is on fire. Lots of Ah, protests, riots. On officer got hit in the head with a brick, and it's just gonna be a really bad night in Wisconsin. Why is it Why is it that everyone needs to suddenly run out in the street and light things on fire and, you know, break windows and throw bricks at police officers. When there's an officer related shooting before an investigation's done. I mean, why is it that that is seen as somehow appropriate ways Our society gets to react and I don't know Lou people going to say Bacarro Blue. It's racism way Don't know It's racism at this point. What we know is an incident has occurred. On. We need to investigate it. It needs to be investigated. I'm not understand. The man's is recovering. He's in critical condition. Well, he's recovering. Ah, right now he's recovering. Let's pray that that continues. I thought he was going to be dead when I saw the video. If you haven't seen the video, it is pretty graphic. You see an African American male Jacob Blake is his name interacting with police officers. The police officers are giving him commands. The videos is from across the street is shot from across the street. Mr Blake does not comply. Mr Blake goes from the passenger side of the car over to the driver's side of the car. Police officers fire follow him. Then Blake tries to get in the car, and that's when police officers discharged their weapons. That's what the video shows. Here's what we know so far, OK, we don't know a lot. But this is what we know. The video was shot across the street by racy in white. A 22 year old on and he says that this is what he's witnessing. Two police officers followed Jacob Blake, their guns drawn. As he tried to get in the car. The officer grabbed a shirt, then shoots him in the back at close range. Seven gunshots total were heard, followed by the car's horn as Blake slumped forward. Blakes. Children were in the SUV at the time the car. Ah, the woman was seen on the video following the officers and screaming as the shots rang out. Um The witness could also here on the audio of the video. Drop the gun. Drop the gun. Drop the gun. Well, one thing the the witness says that it was drop the knife, drop the knife. Others have said, drop the drop the gun, drop the gun, So you know we've got to sort that out. He said he did not. The witness said he did not see a knife in Blake's hand. But I saw a photo. I believe Lu that you sent me. Or maybe it was Travis showing 30 grainy. I tried the zero in on. It is best to something in his hand. There's something so well in his pants in the waistband of his shorts. Uh, yeah. I mean, you know, these are terrible because they they should not have to come to this. But it all kind of goes back to the hole. A bang a lawful order thing. People will say, But, Lou, But, Carl, you shouldn't you should have to die shouldn't be murdered for not obeying a lawful order. That's this. You know the punishment for not obeying the law. Ordered shouldn't be death. I get it, but If a cop to cops have guns drawn on you, there has to be a reason in which they feel that you are not on ly a reason and again. I'm opened an investigation showing something you know that wasn't done by the book. But this seems right now. At first glance to be by the book, and I know a lot of people like I can't believe you would say that it's by the book as it relates to police officers give commands to an individual. The person is not complying. The person has a weapon. The person refuses to Teo. Ah ah, surrender the weapon. The person tries to get into a car. Why are you trying to get into a car? What do you have in that car? Could there be a gun in that car? In addition to what is already in your hand? As a result, officers are under current rules under current practices are are able to use force now again against back to this very, very simple little bit of advice. Let me give it a little bit of a device to keep your life. Don't Have a weapon. With an officer present. And if you do, and the officer gives you a command, follow it before the breath leaves his mouth period and a story. Let's Just simply say that that is the rule book in society. As much as we say, Don't rape a girl. Let's say if an officer says, Put down your gun, put down your knife, You do it. This should be no black or white involved in that It should just be. Yes, The American people agree that that's how it should be. And if you want to argue, in contrast, you're going to get more people killed. And you need to own that..

"Report with Carl Tamayo the fight to contain okay so I'd like to know why why why why are we celebrating criminals I've adjusted me it's so foreign to me Lou it's so odd to me that the media and these protesters are celebrating criminals they really want them to be their role model they really want them to be their heroes and they're they're even raising money I just got notification that one of the criminals who led the looting and rioting and destruction in la mesa and now faces federal not state federal felony charges has a go fund me page has been set up and people are actually donating to this this scumbag this dirt bag this low life people are actually saying out wanted me to him yeah yeah I'm glad you bring down the basement yeah that's right destroy the people's property people raising money to help defend these people that are destroyed property in the Mason yeah yeah it's who would send a check who would send any to any money put faith that they deserve to be in jail it's like it's like saying the you know Hey can I hire a set a sexual predator to to babysit my kids I mean it's just reckless it's it's not something that you see every day but now we are indeed seeing it every day and it it it is so nauseating I am so outraged by it no they burn down a city they destroyed small businesses that had nothing to do with the so called issue you were trying to advance it was unjust and why are you rewarding in justice in this world why are you reporting don't sit here and say we are silent about the police no we spoke out against Derek Chapman we speak out when we see injustice you are not just verbally doing this you're giving cash it's it's it's been mind mind boggling but I do want to get to the other victim as are the other criminal that they're treating as a victim we have Leslie out for crime and this is the woman that was hurt by a bean bag projectiles during the la mesa riots and that she was up in the hospital for a while and she got an attorney because she's still in the city she wants the money this is incredible to me she wants the money here is audio five a for crimes attorney.

"With Carl Tamayo this protesters have the right to protest peacefully protesters have the right to do so without being harassed gassed shot out the story behind the story at the end of the day parodic hold that literally is designed to stop people's blood from flowing into their brain that has no place any longer the fight continues this all right so we are excited because mother may I has decided the state than any state has decided that California within the next week could start reopening schools day camps bars gyms and some sports with modifications starting next week again I they they announced that they tease us with it but we can't start yet again take a week for this to happen yep you know what I saw a meme of internet posting that I chuckled at it said wow wow right right season is already here my code my covert decorations are still up yeah that's not that's how quickly we moved and from you know from Kobe to a ride sees it and now we're going back to cope and you see the way the sliding that in that you know that the protests are over now we have to start re addressing the baggy to stay home for another week yep and and and so you look at this and I do not buy the conspiracy theory that summer sharing on the right that the whole the police brutality thing was it was basically cooked up by the left because they know that they screwed up on corona virus encoded nineteen and therefore they needed a distraction to take our minds off of it dot net and people are still unemployed out there okay even though we had a little bit of good news about two million jobs came back in the past we had that the report that came out from department labor today I think that covered a portion of April and into may we still have rampant unemployment small businesses are really hurting and so they can they can dangle the the the shiny object of racism and police brutality and protests all they want the reality is people know what what happened under covert nineteen Infront of virus and the evidence continues to pile up Lou that we were right that we were right that the lockdown should have ended around the thirteenth of April the two weeks to flatten the curve we should have been designed to give us time to better understand the disease and to build up our capacity and our emergency rooms but when you take a look at all the the data that's come out now lockdowns beyond April thirteenth R. A. unmitigated disaster and unnecessary eighty one percent of people who get covered court in the studies eighty one percent are a symptomatic in other words go ahead nineteen does not affect them in any way that they even notice and that's how how how how you don't non threatening it is to those eighty one percent now that being said covered nineteen spreads fast cover nineteen can be very deadly to people who are older and have pre existing conditions and so what let's take a look at what the ultimate death rate as the death rate has banned in line with the seasonal flu it wasn't two percent it wasn't five percent it's point two five percent because you have to add in the people who have have got covered nineteen they're a symptomatic and had no problems whatsoever it's hard to do but now that we have more data that can be established another element we shut down the entire economy but forty two percent of deaths are from point six percent of the population yeah that's that then say that again if that's a very important point to stress forty two percent of the deaths are from point six percent of the US population and that's really in the congregate care facilities that's what we're really looking at long term care facilities concrete care facilities those environments are the ones that really have driven that that that stat and that's that's only gonna go higher Ohio for example for that stat reported Lou several weeks ago forty one percent of covert deaths were taking place in long term care facilities however I now that they've updated their numbers that number has jumped to seventy percent in Minnesota eighty one percent of covered nineteen deaths are from nursing home and residential care facility so the forty two percent is a U. S. number that lags that number is going to get into the sixty seventy eighty percent range very shortly so now I mean now that we're seeing these number and this is no longer trends right they're becoming statistical data that is factual this is proof this is evidence okay modeling this isn't the phony baloney look at my model you're gonna all crash and burn you gotta go stay home nope nope you all were wrong about that we should be we should not be home and we should be taking care of our of the of the senior living facilities with a tremendous sacrifice of attention and that's the point here is that the data now suggests that we got it all wrong what we should have been doing is building up our capacity in the hospitals so that we can deal with any sort of surgery issues but we should have really been aggressive at sanitizing cleansing and protecting the vulnerable communities in the congregate care facilities around this country which is about two million people by the way about two million people are affected by he just focused on congregate care facilities now there's others that you also look at you'd say Hey if you have a pre existing condition if you have upper respiratory problems you should be locked out you should stay and and if you could build programs around that sort of protection but now what we do one size fits all we took a meat cleaver when what we really needed was a precision surgical instrument that is failure of public policy that's on Gavin Newsom and that's on the CDC that's on Dr Fauci that they did that now the president the president was where we were he said fifteen days to flatten curve he reluctantly said the guidance would stay in place to the end of of of April but then he's like now get the facts or guarantees play this is open but suppose so I look at this and I'm so infuriated by but of course no proof proof let's not focus on data proof where the models what have you seen anyone talking about a model have you seen any of those little charts and graphs in the past where like it up month right women talk about modeling in forty days we haven't talked about any science really in forty days now behind snows those stats others and well you know the we got extra covert done nineteen cases yeah of course you can have more covert nineteen cases that's its nature of fluids the nature of something that that spreads but what you're not seeing is the spike in deaths what you're not seeing isn't overrun a healthcare system you see Sweden and they keep saying well Sweden Sweden that they did not do any locked in Sweden has higher death rates than their neighboring countries of course you should expect them to because they have virtually seventy eighty percent of people that have gotten it so far of course so and so they said we didn't get it right since we didn't get it absolutely right now again covered nineteen is dangerous it is unlike anything we've had it come up and counter in a long time but what we see the big failure as bad is the destruction of the economy using a meat cleaver policies rather than surgical and and here's the thing Lou on all these protections that they're putting in place I'm asking why where is your evidence why that rule for that place and not not this will for this other place today Dr Wilma Wooten was asked by Mike McKinnon okay you're so what is the science behind not allowing people to have balls I heard that on the beach and you notice how she evaded it she said says common sense common sense just common sense that these are not the droids you're looking for this is a Jedi mind trick okay I don't have data and so let me just say it's common sense of course it's apparent of course there is global warming who is Donald Trump is terrible and was elected it was put in place by the by the Russians of course is that they just basically make up their own damn reality of course every police officer is a racist where is your data honey you shut down the damn economy what needs to go Dr Wilma Wooten needs to be fired and there's a number of other public health officials that need to be called on on the carpet and taken to task and a number of politicians but no don't don't look fine green curtain don't look for the data don't look for the evidence because they know where it's gonna lead they made a mistake they they were too aggressive and now we're paying the economic price for it and we paid eight eight eight a civil liberties price for it as well speaking of civil liberties this hypocrisy run amok with respect to cover nineteen will tell you who does get the protection of the ACLU and who doesn't you may or may not be surprised but you'll want to know that's next on the demain report first traffic.

"With Carl Tamayo the president is okay with mail in voting so long as you have the reason he's not okay with mass mail in voting where you auto center all of these voter rolls with people who are dead that are subject to fraud the story behind the story there's nothing I'd rather do than get rid of my old Twitter account but I'm able to get to a hundred and eighty six million people but I put something out in the next day or the next hour the next minute everybody's reading about the fight continues all right let's let's pick up where the president right there just left off and that is president trump today signed an executive order basically cracking down on social media platforms Twitter Facebook Instagram X. cetera saying that they're politically biased they're trying to censor any conservatives and he's sick of it and he's gonna take action so little this is a long time in the common yeah I've I've been upset with the social media platforms a double standards for a while and it seems as though the president finally we got to the the the breaking point when Twitter decided to label one of his tweets from the past week as fake news they did a fact check on it and basically said this is a true and that's where he I basically was calling out of the two things that he did he called out Joe Scarborough of MSNBC for maybe having a role in the death of a staffer of his back in two thousand one and the other issue was voter fraud they label that fake news because he said that the you know California wants to do mail in ballots and mail in ballots have opened the door to all sorts of voter fraud illegal voting he's got a really strong point on the mail in ballots not so sure about the joke Scarborough stuff but he has a really strong point on the map about that's why I have all the things that are going on in in the you know in social media to to use this as the hill to die on to pick on the president on on this one it seems like the wrong the wrong place to start with respect to Joe Scarborough he and Joe or been having this to a war it's amusing to some most people don't if you watch morning Joe on MSNBC and even fewer are familiar with the fact that a trump and Joe were once friends now they're not friends so I let that be between them and that is it it is a legitimate story by the way that did happen but with respect to them to fact checking him on the fact that vote by mail does lead to voter fraud in lots of cases in the history of this country that's Carl absolutely legitimate I mean that's that's an opinion that's not just trump's opinion that there's evidence of that no absolutely and and and I I can't I'm just gonna throw this out there can you think of anyone on the left any Democrat politician that has had a tweet fact checked by tweet tech I can't think of even one no not one and it is all the crap that they're out there spewing I mean at this point I can think of several tweets by Eric Swalwell and that Adam Schiff water water anti semitism and anti semitic stop them is because it's not about that that's an appropriate or inappropriate but even fact checking you know like you know here you have Adam ships and I've seen evidence of collusion shouldn't all those tweets now be fact checked in and and and labeled as fake news of course they're not doing that they're just doing it to trump so that's why we just want to provide you with the context of why trump is taking this action this is was it was the tipping point and you're gonna hear a lot about the tweets that because of this but it you you may be lost looking at the tree and missing out on the four forest the full forest is that Facebook and Twitter and Instagram all got their start as social media platforms by advertising to consumers you and me that you could get a free account on their platform and the benefit to you is that you will be able to share anything you want you can express anything you want you can you know and you discuss the latest issues you can tell me each debate you know who's your mate you know favorite band you can take pictures of your food you can put pictures of your kids and grandkids up there you know all these things basically they've offered a platform and they've made certain representations as a result of that a bunch of people got on the platforms and started investing in the platforms and they've got all their photos on their their history on their their friends are on there they rely on these platforms and these platforms monetize our participation by selling advertisements and selling data you know and so there's this is a business transaction how is it not fraudulent for Twitter and Facebook and other platforms to now say we are going to change the terms on you we've decided we're going to fact check what you say we've decided that if it doesn't fit our standards relating to political speech we're going to you know whether it's a process do you know that if you say the word illegal immigrant on Twitter it is it is very illegal alien that it's flagged as hate speech and inappropriate content okay so they can kick you off what were they deleted what happened negative they have ways in their algorithms of suppressing tweets as well as you know banning you from you know participation there's something called Facebook jail thank goodness I've never been in it I'm surprised I've never been in it I I did a Google I I have been a Google jail I was never in Facebook jail what's Google jail tell me about Google jail is when you start as sending out mass emails to over three hundred people and okay that your spam but but now I'm I I know I'm if I didn't know I was doing I mean I I don't know that that was the thing and I I I was doing it but I was just trying to go through my contact list let everyone know something was happening in my life and I got put in jail yeah yeah so but but but they're actually doing content based reviews and and and and and banning speech so how is this not fraudulent and I'm asking my Democrat friends here like I can't believe this how is it not fraudulent that the the the the big billion dollar companies that got built up by making an offer to us of of a public space now have been able to change the terms and conditions and I know your your your essays book co owner don't you believe in the rights of the business to make its own decision and consumers can go elsewhere yes bot and I'll explain the bot coming up all right and your telephone calls at eight hundred six hundred cocoa eight hundred six hundred five six four six if you know this story as everyone know what your thoughts are first traffic in lowercase from your always sunny San Diego Honda dealers traffic center left lane blocked on.

put something out in the next day or the next hour the next minute everybody's reading about it the fight continues call the mild Lupin rose here on newsradio six hundred cocoa last items on this killing in Minneapolis of course it would not be the I'm a cop it you know an officer involved the totality without politics playing a role we talked about the politics of the mayor of Minneapolis stirring the pot egging on the protesters by basically saying yeah I can't believe the guy's not behind bars already we should have arrested what are we waiting for but then you've got people like Maxine waters it just comes right out and says that she believes that the officer enjoyed killing George Floyd enjoyed it she says I'm reflecting on all the killings of young black men in particular but of course black women to at the hands of the police at the hands of these white supremacists so because the cops are white supremacists and I'm thinking about the way the president conducts himself of course how long did it take to go from just abject racism on her part towards white people to going after the president she says quote I'm thinking about the way that the president conducts himself in the the way he he's dog whistling and I think they're feeling that they can get away with this kind of treatment Brevard jet Reverend the Reverend Jesse Jackson this yet you have a congregation will I don't think he's been a member for a long time but I think his congregation is bank account right yeah yeah so just as the referendum cues the Reverend says it was quote a lynching in broad daylight and I can go on and on of of yahoos that are out there trying to fan the flames of racial division the worst is congresswoman hot Omar who represents a Minneapolis and she's out there be affected we saying that they have every right to be angry everyone has every right to be angry I'm rang re I'm not throwing out a chair through my local targeting taking consumer goods that don't belong to me I don't fear denouncing that the at the pro testing it just I. these are members of Congress or the exception of Jackson but I mean you know waters and more than members of Congress and they're out there saying these absolutely irresponsible things right that's what leadership done helpful you don't know who the cop voted forward whether he's a trump supporter or not what the hell does that have to do with anything yeah no but but it's it's holistically responsible and it's reckless it's gonna get people killed it's going to get people arrested it it's gonna foment hate and that's what our country suffers from our country suffers from yes police officers like their child and that's a name officer Chapman who was negligent and should never be serving on the force and now should be serving time behind bars we suffer from that but that pales in comparison in terms of the occurrence in terms of how often it's happening to the deaths and the hatred and the discord and the pain and the suffering that is created by race bettors and there's no doubt about it Jesse Jackson Maxine waters their race matters the race bettors are the worst kind and they get away with it consistently by the media I've never seen so much racism in the last thirty years as I see today is not directed towards minorities it's directed towards white people and everyone apparently is judge based on their skin color that they're white supremacists that their killers that they enjoyed doing it and that's just obscene it's absolutely obscene we will see where this goes amount I'm not sure it's over yet that would nightfall is a coming upon us in Minnesota and then I'm sure there's gonna be lots of discussions and all the you know kinds of racial healing marches and then of course the trial of the officers so this is not going away anytime soon what do we need a racial hearing healing March this is not an issue of racism well the road now sharp is on a plane so he's got to do something well is there a private jet you know yeah the private jet that's paid for by corporations who goes and shakes down and and it says you're gonna be accused of racism but if you give money to my organization which by the way is delinquent on taxes and the IRS we will be a you're shielding your guide we can deduce our shakedown artists that show up they say they smell a dollar bill that's that's that's why they're there and Maxine waters and and some of these others are there just for the politics they just want the political power here Jackson and Sharpton want the money Maxine once the power and the effect is that we still have people in the inner city in the aftermarket community who are being told every single day they should even try they should not try to go to college station and try to go to school they shouldn't try to do the right thing they shouldn't try to be on the right side of the law B. as a matter what they do there's some evil sinister force out there that's gonna drag them down what a terrible terrible message to be can bang now it was a terrible day following a very terrible day I mean you have a very yeah the the the the killing of this of this this this man is a man as far as we can see at the hands of a of a law enforcement official followed by a night of people looting and burning and destroying private property and public property just of going in the wrong direction yep would you have to do our coronavirus discussion today there's lots to get to their really mother may I is allowing us to do this.

"With Carl Tamayo this is nothing I can do to satisfy the media the Democrats who did the greatest mobilization in history with the ventilators and I don't think there was a story for a great job the story behind the story artificially induced unemployment would take in the greatest the district and we had to turn it off nothing like that's ever happened before the fight continues all right you can you can file this next hour into the kicking them when they're down file that's what the state of California has decided to do to small businesses and workers at a time when unemployment we just got the latest number from SANDAG the San Diego association of governments in San Diego county unemployment has now hit twenty eight percent and put that in perspective Lou and I didn't know this because I wasn't around with better Ginsburg apparently was but during the Great Depression I told you we would not go through a show without doing anything RBG can some do a pulse check as it was during the depression it capped out nation wide at twenty seven percent unemployment and that's back when they actually were were like true unemployment numbers like either today it's fine just as these are people who have given up looking for work work eight Alexander a you know there's a whole bunch of ways that the unemployment numbers have been manipulated but having almost one out of four or actually more than one out of four maybe one out of three people unemployed that's pretty darn painful and so you would think that the California state government and the national federal government would be thinking how do we B. as kind as possible to workers and businesses back a mop make it less expensive and inflexible for them to you know make money and to employ people and to survive in this tough time nope that's not happening what I think it all not even being considered I mean I would think that there be some talk about where's the task force on deregulating to make businesses have a little bit less of a pain of operating in California where that task force remember this all started we said no handouts no bailouts what we should be doing is giving no interest five or ten year loans to small businesses and then helping them repay it by slashing government regulation so that when they did come out of this thing that they would be super efficient you know and and I I believe that we would have lifted the lockdown a lot sooner but you know again that's us you know waving a magic wand and now we're at the situation in the point where we don't see elected officials talking about remedies and relief for business owners and workers to make it easier for them so what was the big announcement yesterday California announced a lawsuit and our very own San Diego city attorney Mara Elliott is involved in the lawsuit in addition do the state Attorney General against uber and left basically charging them with the worker miss classification they say that the.

"With Carl Tamayo we have a right to be heard in the press should rigorously investigate claims they may always uphold that principle but in the end in every case the truth is what matters in this case the truth is the claims are false the story behind the story you will be contacted about for season you're in public without a facial covering I'm not sure we'll contact you asking you put it on the file contains all right it's been a pretty long week with a lot of stories that we don't really have a lot of stories we'd ordinarily spend hours on that we have been able to get to because of the corona virus coverage but I do want to cover one big story that do you have merits grave attention and that is the department of justice continues to peel back the onion they are getting to the bottom of the whole Russia collusion scam where where you had that is it the presidential candidate Donald Trump spied on which both during the campaign and after the election during the transition even into his administration the latest developments that are coming out demonstrate that Michael Flynn was set up and I think it was a a pretty clear case of set up and that the department of justice is close to bringing charges against internal D. FBI and DOJ officials former officials that approved the the the whole investigation against Michael Flynn so we're gonna spend a lot more time on this when the charges are brought forward but from what I'm seeing coming out of Washington it's it's going to happen even president trump yesterday tweeted early in the morning what happened a general Michael Flynn a war hero should never be allowed to happen to a citizen of United States again does anyone really believe that Roger stone a man whose house was raided early in the morning by twenty nine gun toting FBI agents with fake news CNN closely Intel was treated fairly how about the jury forewoman whether unannounced hatred and bias some scammers as the same scammers as general flan so there wasn't is is is fully getting involved here and and and Lou it looks like it goes back to the familiar name Peter Schrock it just goes to show you call just like the how deep the deep state is that bad justice department and the FBI I mean the president was absolutely fighting an uphill battle through this entire impeachment thing and it's not completely done I mean this still I don't know traders if you will be working in the F. B. I. working in the deep state well and that's the thing is that you cannot allow people who are supposed to be law enforcement to abuse their power and as a result of that influence see the outcome of an election they're doing exactly what they claim the Russians word we're we're we're we're caught doing they were trying to influence the outcome of an election they were trying to undo the result in an election by going after trump and catching him into an investigation process were they good they were going to try to find real crimes against him that's how these people operate you go after them on something you get approval to spy and then boom we find the real good on the person it's all pretext it's all the vehicle by which you then go and poke into someone's past poke into their transactions spoken to what they're doing now that's not how American justice is supposed to work in fact it's very reminiscent of what the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin said you show me the man I will create the crime right and it's end and it just proves the case that you can indict a ham sandwich in Washington DC because the lawyers are being paid for by the taxpayers so you know it just add magic being president of the United States not having ever served in Washington not being a politician not yeah he's a he understands politics but I don't think he ever expected to to be there facing opposition from his own administration's cabinet like this and having survived it I I've said this before when this is all over and president trump wins reelection he's got a clean house all the way down to the receptionist and just start from the ground up well he's already started do that with my good friend record now the acting director of deny and so a lot of good stuff happening there but I did want to mention the story because I know I did get some emails from folks saying why haven't you talked about this right right yeah Hey we're we've got a governor in California shutting down our beaches and keeping us unemployed I think we can we can multi task okay yeah but you know you have a democratic presidential candidate applying a double standard to sexual harassment allegations and all of the Democrat establishment and media going along with them showing that there are bunch of hypocrites we need to get all the stories and and I wanted to definitely cover that but look I've I've fully expects at least one if not multiple people will be indicted for abuse of power and miscarriage of justice over the Russia collusion scam and it can't happen soon enough for me and when it does we'll go into full detail on it and we will do our victory laps because we've been saying this was gonna happen for a while all right so back to California you can you mention the front page of the union Tribune today right I mean that blaring headline news some lax regions beaches remain open as if there is be just to get back to us yeah the idea that we're all just sitting back waiting around while using our unemployment insurance and and just enjoying our lives it is the fantasy that the governor's press conference wants to convey the fact of the matter is even the basic operation of California the admission the administration of unemployment checks how's it going well at all no no A. A. K. so this is a guy who is not only over reaching but is underperforming okay that that that that's the best way to describe what's going on in California governor governor Newsom over reaching with the stay home stay home orders over reaching with the infringement on personal liberties as it relates to protests but he's underperforming when it comes to dealing with the public health aspects and the economic aspects so under unemployment insurance claims there is a massive backlog which means people are running out of money in their accounts at real issues about how are they going to actually pay for food and this is serious now at the same time that there is a backlog on unemployment insurance Newsome is out there announcing that he's going to be adding in illegal immigrants into the system so he wants to give these illegal immigrants a thousand dollars taxpayer funded cash cash payouts just because because they're suffering too did you have in taking care of the citizens yet so kindly get back to the role of serving citizens first before you go out and and and divert money also not only is it a initial processing load it's an issue of funding we are facing a massive fiscal shortfall in the unemployment insurance program meaning we're going to run out the different latest assessment shows we're gonna run out of unemployment insurance funds in within two weeks two weeks time will be short on unemployment insurance funds yeah we're giving illegal immigrants hundred million dollars a thousand dollars each and that's gonna be at exhausted pretty quickly now it at the press conference he had a couple things to say in a couple things that he didn't say we want to get too so we'll play that for you that's coming up next on the mile report called the myelin the pen rose on news radio six hundred cargo first a second floor Kane is taking a look at our Friday afternoon traffic Hey Laura Hey Lou this report is sponsored by discover and there's an accident eastbound on the seventy eight just before centre city parkway this one has two lanes blocked so it's gonna get busy before it gets better we also have something going on northbound etal five player Robbie so Boulevard it's sheet metal it's in the slow lane but the stories are in the process right now of removing it so you might find some brake lights there and a crash still clearing on the sixty seven and vigilante and it's definitely slow approaching the.

"With Carl Tamayo news I think the fourth quarter is going to be really strong and I think next year is going to be a tremendous year the story behind the story they have to have social distancing continue testing on going monitoring protocols that's all part of the new normal and businesses are going to have to do that if they want to re open the fight continues coming up at five o'clock we're gonna walk through several legal challenges to governor Newsom and state and local officials on their lockdowns you're not gonna wanna miss it because there may be a role for you to play but first we have so much fake news Lou to deal with and and I love calling out the media on fake news because they don't think we're watching they don't think we are actually examining and evaluating and see what they're doing and calling about and the you know the whole controversy with president trump and you know did he ask people to go drink disinfectants like Lysol and Clorox six cetera the answer is no but they continue to try to spend not only that he recommended it but that people are dying because of it because they're drinking poison killing themselves all because of Donald Trump I just answered that right that he's irresponsible that he's not responsible enough to be president he does understand his role as our responsibility and that its supporters are so dim witted that they would you know take this ridiculous leap that they think that yeah he C. suggested that they should ingest anything so let me listen let me let me give you this disappeared and they hail but it appeared in the Atlanta journal constitution a number of other publications yesterday we wrote the story about New York St one of their public officials said what we see a lot of moral poisonings side in the last couple days didn't provide any data no no no reference point no demonstrated increased from the same time a year ago with the same week a year ago the same month a week a year ago nope nope nope just as yeah we're seeing a lot more sounds like narrative driving to me but here's the story two men in Georgia drank disinfectants efforts to prevent covert nineteen comma officials say and so it's that guy's name is **** Lopez he's the director of the Georgia poison center he told the Atlanta journal constitution that man was hospitalized on Saturday after he claimed to have ingested sixteen ounces of bleach in order to prevent code nineteen okay so you look at that guy because it must be because of trump it absolutely because of trump trump is routing people's lives these so regular reckless well buried in the story is the guy actually has a long history of psychological problems he's actually a quote psych history patient okay so so somebody who has it is clearly you know it psychiatrically challenged yeah I'd drinks drinks bleach and the headline is not that a psych patient hurts himself but which goes on all day every day psych wards in Georgian everywhere else but the Georgia drank I drove to manage George drink disinfected that somehow news but it's only news noticed Carl you know few days around the time that yeah everybody in the press is trying to say that president trump is encouraging you to drink Lysol what the media report on some cuckoo drinking the Clorox bleach any other day of the of the week now they they wouldn't they wouldn't report on it maybe they would just be like oh someone drank bleach okay yeah whatever but no this is big news and all the trump haters out there sharing it saying see what president trump is done it's all his fault he's responsible for this crazy bad drinking bleach I decided to go and look up a little bit of data I love data never is presented by the way in any of these stories so I went to poison that'll work and they have poisoned statistics and this is from twenty eighteen the latest datasets so every year the in the United States alone just in United States they're two point one million human poison exposures two point one million well most of these are for kids okay they have nice graph their age groups so if you go less than one year old one two three four five year olds basically we're talking about a hundred and fifty thousand for the one year olds a hundred fifty thousand for the two year olds we're talking about a lot of people but when you get up to like twenty thirty years old we're still looking at a hundred thousand for females and about to to to to eighty five thousand for men not women by the way there's more pose it poison exposure for women after the age of thirteen all the way until the the the date of death then there are for men I'm not gonna comment I'm just saying that's what the data says okay so how many are looking for a clear you know that was a good touch I'm just pointing out data now what are the most common substances implicated in pope pope pope pose an upside poison exposures they break it down by things like cosmetics which might explain the women there you go right there that's an easy one analgesic dead J. just just six and I don't know what those are foreign bodies toys miscellaneous topical preparations anti histamines vitamins dietary supplements herbals homeopathic pesticides gastro gastric duro tense tested all preparations and then we have cleaning supplies guess what rank cleaning supplies this okay Donna listed below number two after number ten weeks after cosmetics it is it counts for roughly eleven percent of all poisoning incidents in United States or get this ready for it per year one hundred and three thousand three hundred and eighty seven incidents of people being poisoned by cleaning substances I bet this is going on this is been going along I venture to guess some of those people intentionally drank some of this crap thinking rule the feeling a little stuffed up maybe I should go drink some of the some Drano you can't cure stupid and president trump is not responsible for that that that individual doing that and guess what folks twenty eighteen it was happening a lot but again we don't have that reference point in any of these articles instead so what our state drink Clorox or Lysol or something that was a cleaning product we'll try anything about Clorox or Lysol and a whole bunch of people have been drinking the stuff in our state for a long time so why is this suddenly news unless you're trying to drive a narrative fake news that's what this is mathematically proven it case closed fake news and and get the guy didn't even say drink this stuff he even say would work is that we're looking into whether it could be used in humans in terms of alter violet rays any use disinfectants not from the standpoint of Lysol or Clorox but from the standpoint of getting rid of the virus in the in the common or colloquial sense he's not a doctor it's just absurd fake news caught again and by the way was the last time they had the C. span on in the psychiatric ward so I did I decided that you know psychiatric patients are involved here kind of yeah gives tips the hand on the whole narrative of the story actually there's a lot of crazy people that watch sees at CNN so they probably got it from CNN they trade cigarettes Walt all logs are take a break coming up supply chain you heard a lot about it we have an update for you that's next on the to my report called my only Penrose a news radio six under cocoa and lower case good afternoon Lewin Carl this report is sponsored by cal fire south of fifteen before the fifty six Ted Williams parkway there's a sole vehicle in the slow lane utility truck conked out cell phone fifteen at the Market Street offramp they're still working to get that out of the way southbound five from the split to the.

"Is the world with Carl Tamayo we built a bridge to the other side of this crisis it looks like we're getting close to opening up in many places around the country the story behind the story the White House is taking steps to dramatically ramp up testing for corona virus during the months of may and June the fight continues this all right so this is a story that you and I've been looking at but we chose not to cover for two reasons one we've been so focused on corona virus but to ordinarily I would not cover it because I don't believe in perpetuating an unsubstantiated allegation or a poorly substantiated allegation are they can do great damage to an individual's reputation I don't believe in that I wait for facts I I let things play out we're talking obviously about the story of about vice president former vice president Joe Biden facing allegations of sexual harassment the reason why we're covering it today is because it has no longer an issue about the allegation against Joe Biden this is now an issue of hypocrisy and a double standard that's what I want to explore so I want to be very clear right at the outset that I actually don't believe the allegations and that may be surprising to some I don't know where he stands the bad guys are great artists up there I mean it's a thirty years old it's a it's a he said she said thing and so they have to be some for me just like you I did these are very damning allegations so normally I would stay away from them until there's some some some some photographs of evidence some email from something yeah so is it what is the allegation so there is a former senatorial staffer Tara Reid who worked for then senator Joe Biden in the nineteen nineties the year was nineteen ninety three she tells of a story of working for a bite and that is washing DC senatorial office then senator grabbed her pushed her up against the wall forcibly kissed her touched her and penetrated her with his fingers without her consent and what has come to light now is a nineteen ninety three transcript as well as video from CNN's Larry King Live show where reed's mother what Lee calls in to Larry King Live in nineteen ninety three and complained that her daughter had was having problems with equal prominence Washington we're gonna play the audio but there's a couple things that you may notice about the audio that may be damning and may actually be irrelevant irrelevant to the whole allegation so let's go with audio audio number three San Luis Obispo California hello yes hello I'm wondering what that staff for would to do besides go to the press in Washington my daughter has just left there after working for prominent senator and could not get through with her problems at all the only thing she could have done was go to the press and she chose not to do it out of respect for him she had a story to tell but out of respect for the person she worked for she didn't tell her.

"Reports with Carl Tamayo the fight continues okay so president trump now has a new story about the disinfectants you see that so now he's saying I was being sarcastic right I I didn't I wasn't being sarcastic he was being aspirational resident right had inquisitive using them it might work might not let's see if these doctors can research it would be great if it if they could find some sort of way to use these UV rays and you know he wasn't talking about household disinfectants I don't want to suggest that is just literally unhinged and I know they don't like trump and they think he's a he's a dumb Rube but the guy is he's not suggesting household disinfectants the same we're doing research and a whole host of treatments that being said I think him his latest statement saying he was being sarcastic debt diminishes this whole thing because I don't think he was being sarcastic I think he was like yeah it would be great if we could research this and find a way to to use some of these techniques that was it the controversy was manufactured by the media and you should have just said the media took me out of context manufactured another controversy case closed he now he's saying sarcasm I think it's a mistake I think it's a mistake for him to claim it's the sarcasm yeah I I and I honestly don't think he thought very much of it I I think he probably was just musing out loud with what the doctors are saying which was very interesting and and and you know just just moved on but you know it's got to be frustrating call it has to be frustrating for this president to work every day and I don't know how many hours a day he works but most of them and then spend time every evening to try and update America where we're going and the media picks up on some added context foolishness and makes up the lead story for the next day because it's all part of the narrative that he's an apt using competent he's risky odd negligent he's telling people to use treatments that don't work the reality is what trump has done is highlighted things that are showing success he's not telling people to use these things he is encouraging people to go talk to their doctor every single time you talk about the study says you should consult your doctor talk to your doctor if that if if if the treatment works let the doctors use it he really wants to empower people do the research where is this media has been very clear anytime he talks about something they either belittle him or they want to fail they have been cheering on chloroquine as a failure they've been saying right it anytime it felt like I had failed to tell you guys that this one shot in France of two hundred people and that just shows that the president know what he was talking about and he's touting a drug that has no word no no proven sense yeah there's a be a study as well with similar real conclusions but there's also up number of other studies out there which is why we originally started looking at this drug in can we cook a connection with the C. pack that suggested it is effective in the FDA has come out and said we don't know we need to do the controlled groups we need to do a real survey a real study not that has not been done yet but what trump is trying to say is since the drugs already approved for malaria we shouldn't look down on doctors that want to utilize this because to quote trump Hey if you die and we don't what difference does it make you know we have to try it but you have to lose so as we look this is all part of the larger narrative that trump somehow wants people to die is inept at dealing with the with the crisis when the reality is it's been the liberal media that has been beating the drum for a complete economic shutdown they actually either because of an ineptitude and incompetence because it ask questions and challenge numbers or because they've actually been part of it they've been part of the narrative driving of misinformation remember we were supposed to see hundreds of thousands of deaths maybe two million member number two million maybe two million deaths nope didn't happen and of course are going to claim it's because of their shut down of the economy well we're seeing on the USS to teddy Roosevelt the numbers have been very consistent they were not shut down there was about twenty five percent of them that got covered nineteen none of them had the symptoms at two thirds of them did have symptoms the death rate is is significantly lower it's in the line of the the seasonal flu and you see look at this and you're wondering hold on a second well we actually have the debate in this country of did we go too far or I will even agree let's not even hold people accountable for going too far live what I want to say is now that we do have data does that mean we get to change our intervention should we change our intervention should we start lifting some of the restrictions cautiously that's where I think our conversation needs to go but we're not seeing that think that that approach in our elected officials in California in particular locally now I and I I think you're exactly right I think the decision to open up the beaches but only for swimming surfing and paddle boarding I don't think that elected officials really wanted to do that I think they saw more more protests and more more protests brewing and decided they had to do something because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you can be six feet apart while swimming you can be six feet apart while lying on a beach towel so with that and if you have to have a face mask on anyway then there you are I mean that this is actually no reason to continue with these restrictions and by the way we're going to have to start doing things that actually generate revenue not just recreation on the weekends we're gonna have to start thinking about six feet apart ways of engaging in commerce because that's really what's going to get things started again I saw pictures today from Georgia of the eighty nail salon spa day spa massage parlor all the open because Georgia governor camp it decided to move a little more aggressively open up more businesses earlier on and they're taking temperatures of people that are going there again I don't agree with the spa pardon the massage parlor thing but I think it virtually every other business that can you know for sure that they have a protocol for removing or limiting infection but all those businesses in Georgia are going to be the case the case study that that the test of whether you can trust business owners to do the right thing whether you can trust consumers to do the right thing I believe the answer is yes I believe people will take the disease seriously err on the side of caution they'll wipe their hands wash your hands weapons services stay six feet away where they can where they can't the wear a mask all that stuff can be done and so I'm looking at the actual hard data of economic pain and suffering there's no disputing that they don't need models for that it is it is fact that we are hurting economically what is now in question is whether the corona virus was as aggressive and as dangerous as we assumed or were told and whether it's impossible to manage the risk of coronavirus without a complete shutdown that's what's in question okay there's no denying that it to shut down the debate about that is it is frankly partisan it frankly it reeks of no we don't want to have that we don't want to discuss we don't want to defend our policies shut up bend over and take it that's literally what we're being told by our elected officials well now Georgia is gonna give us a case study as to maybe there is another way to do this and I'm grateful that governor campus is approaching this this way no I am too I I think I see right I I don't know that the tattoo parlor has to be open but I think service businesses need to try this and nobody is better at making sure that they're going to be social distancing keeping safe then service industries so that'll be the Canary in the coal mine try coming up big pull out two thirds and may first will tie those two numbers together next on the tomorrow report called a mile in blue pen rose on news radio six hundred cocoa first traffic and Laura Kane thank you Lou thank you Carl this report is sponsored by the Crohn's and colitis
