"To have every color in my wardrobe in the suitcases, because if you're on TV and you look like you're just another tree, like it's not gonna be good. So all of this, like, it became scientific to me where I was like, damn, I need every color of the rainbow. I need to avoid certain patterns, and I need to have clothes that go well together in all kinds of weathers and circumstances. So the other issue here too, and this is a packing tip. Don't underestimate your shopping that will happen when you get there, right? Like that was a big mistake that I made. I would try to pack everything from the clothing stores that we have here in the states. And I would get to a place we were traveling for the show. And I'm like, oh my God, I just found the best boutique and I bought everything. And I'm like, damn, what am I gonna do with all this stuff? So that was a rookie mistake. Basically, they say you should pack your suitcase and then unpack half of it, and that's the rule of thumb when it comes to packing. I know as toiletries though, it's like, I might need this. What if you find a chin hair and you don't have your tweezers or band aids? I don't know, I randomly get injured a lot on travels. It's true, it's true. I know, yeah, so I think you should always have the cover your ass items. In the worst case scenario, but you know, like if we get cuts in the states, odds are people cut themselves everywhere else. So you're gonna get stuff. And that's the thing that, of course, that extreme packers such as myself sometimes we forget. So now I've kind of become more of a relaxed packer. I'm okay if I don't have everything because I know I'm gonna get there and like just buy what I need if I don't have it right. Well I'm thinking of sunscreen because at least for me some of the places I visited, it's so expensive. It's like they know that you've come here and it's a very sunny place and they're like, well get you you tourist. Obviously if you're in a city or like a big country that you have you're able to run around, but let's say you go week to Caribbean islands. They're not gonna have your aerosol lies cool mist SPF 100. What's your sunscreen strategy? So I have this roll on sunscreen that kind of looks like a stick of deodorant. It's by neutrogena. Lifesaving 'cause it's small. Solid. Yeah, look for solid sunscreen. And also, if it's a reef safe, we're trying to protect the coral reefs. That would be something else to look out for. And then your daily SPF in the moisturizer for the face essential. My grandma always said this to me, she was like little Joanna, you need to take care of your skin. And you have more time than me, and especially for brown women, brown and black women, like we, there's this misconception we don't need sunscreen. And that's not true. So especially for like dark spots, pigmentation, all of that comes from not protecting your skin when it comes to SPF. The SPF is what keeps the stains lighter. Your grandma knew about sun protection? Yeah, she also knew like don't pick at your face. Like the number one way you're gonna scar your face is by picking at it. Like, you know, you get ingrown hairs, I'm turning 30 this year and it's like all these ingrown hairs and shit. I'm like, what is going on? Since when do I have chin hair? But then I think about I flashback to grandma being like, don't pick at it. I'm getting laser, like I'm doing laser my entire body, and it's oh my God, it's life-changing. Life-changing, but very painful on the legs. How did you do the legs? Actually, you know what? I didn't do the legs. I did everywhere. I did underarms, bikini, face, I don't know, 'cause I just was just, I don't know, it doesn't bother me as much. I probably should. It hurts. Oh, I mean, I do it because of the whole traveling and having to be in bikinis last night. From reading a show, totally. So I did it as an investment to my future self. And it's good. And I think about the face, the hair and the face and the ingrown hair and the stains. It's all connected is the bottom line here. And we need to take care of these things now so that when we're older, as my grandma would remind me, like by the time you're my age, if you don't take care of this stuff now, you're going to have these issues that I have that I wish I would have prevented. Yeah, you're thinking ahead. I like that. Okay, we talked about sunscreen the other thing that I was so excited to talk to you about because it is my conundrum whenever I travel. Mosquitos love me. Like, I know everybody says, no, no, they love me. The most I am telling you I've never been anywhere where I haven't gotten bitten by a mosquito or an aunt or anything bites me. It loves me. What do you do? How do you protect the age old question? That's a tricky one that's a tricky one because the best places to travel to have the worst bugs. It's so annoying and there's no real answer here, I guess the takeaways that I've seen, it's like try to avoid wearing dark clothes. Because there's some evidence, maybe not scientific, but evidence that mosquitos gravitate towards darker surfaces. So if you're wearing a black shirt or brown, whatever black. Yeah, that could be a bad ticket for you. And then I know that it's controversial, but deet, right? Like in the states we have you go, you go deep, but it's not great for health and the environment, but it does protect you. It's less that for me than the feel of it on your skin, like I feel like I should have to shower 20 times a day because then you want to relax on your bed so you have to shower off all the deet, get in the bed, but then the minute you leave the bed, we're going to spray again on all the deep. Is that what you do? I mean, yeah, that's the question, right? It's like, what do you do? I usually have a son, like when I'm in a place with a lot of mosquitos, I usually have a daytime mosquito solution, maybe that's got a little deep, and then I have like an organic.

"Irma hitting the Caribbean islands right now One of the most powerful storms ever Hurricane Maria has joined the growing list of major hurricanes to impact the Caribbean and the U.S. in recent weeks Hurricanes are researcher wondered what impact would that have on the lizards So he went down there again with his team and they found themselves in a sort of a case of scientific deja vu They were repeating the precise same study they had just completed 6 weeks earlier So now they're pulling every lizard off a tree holding it up against the ruler seeing how long it is Taking all of these measurements you know And they immediately saw this pattern in the data They saw that ones that had survived where the lizards with the largest pads on their toes And the ones with long strong looking front legs But these lizards back legs were measurably shorter Could these features have helped them survive the hurricanes An investigation was necessary Luckily they had planned ahead and brought with them to the Caribbean a leaf blower Hang on what makes you pack a leaf blower on a holiday to the Caribbean He did have a reason And the reason was this that you knew that to really understand this situation they were going to need to be able to observe lizard behavior in high winds And since you can't really stand there safely in a hurricane taking notes on lizards they decided to make their own hurricane by using the leaf blower Imagine the scene a small lizard perched on a stick on comes the leaf blower and they hold on for dear life To be clear no lizards were harmed in the making of this experiment they were caught in a soft net and released But what you can see is that large tool parts and strong front legs give some lizards a tighter grip When they do start to let go in their body starts flapping in the air like a flag smaller back legs reduce the drag and allow them to cling on and survive the hurricane So the survivors were those leathers with those characteristics and they passed those traits along to their offspring They checked other areas across the Caribbean and found wherever hurricanes were frequent these same characteristics were common Proof of evolution in action Evolution then does take place but it doesn't mean species are out of the Woods Evolution requires an animal to pass successful genes onto their children thus much easier for an aphid type of insect it can produce a new generation every 5 days Galapagos giant tortoises on the other hand need something like 25 years Evolutionary ecologist Anne charmont So the fact that different species particularly because of their lifespan are evolving at different rates it can create mismatches across the food chain Relationships which have remained studied for hundreds of thousands of years can get out of sync There's another problem And things that in the.

Volcanic ash could easily cause millions of dollars worth of damage just by landing on the ships or by getting sucked into their engine air intakes so they deserve recognition for their courage and compassion. What i blame is the world's obsession with covid. Yeah in normal. Circumstances people are just evacuated from a deadly disaster zone. Nobody refuses anyone because they might get sick sick. People are given medical attention if required but because the world has become obsessed with a disease which kills up to one per cent of victims. There is a real possibility that people fleeing a natural disaster. We'll be told they have to stay and die unless they receive an experimental and potentially life-threatening medication. The number number doesn't particularly make a difference I don't know what that number of twenty-one quadrille or whatever that number is but that's a lot of units to figure out who's got what and Only computers can figure that out so yes. Bitcoin is boom for the surveillance state in many ways. And it's one of the reasons that i am. I look at does like what so and and it's definitely worth pointing out that Minero z. cash These are crypto currencies that are actually anonymous as opposed to semi suit anonymous But compared to what so the normal way of paying for things you have to have a bank account. Okay so once you've got the bank account. Okay you've got your security number. You've got your driver's license. All of that information is in there. Yeah they're far less. It's far far less transparent than say bank in the banking system as it exists. Go ahead yet. yeah They they sat in this Story quote tracking illicit. Bitcoin transaction is therefore easier than tracing illegal funds moved across borders using traditional banking transactions and far easier than trying to follow cash in the report was quoted saying that if all criminals use blockchain wipe out illicit financial activity. Well i think that should be brought up in the crypto sixes trial. You know that because what they're going to try to do is say pickering terrorists You know these sorts of things. But you're absolutely right. This is a this great article for what we got going on. So now did they say if If all transactions were in bitcoin then they could wipe out illicit transactions or if all transactions were in cryptocurrency..

Cuba is working on a homegrown COVID-19 vaccine program

"Cuba. The Communist run Caribbean island is soon to launch the third phase of clinical trials on its own Corona virus vaccine produced by government scientists. Government hopes the vaccine will not only end Cuba's cove in 19 crisis but become an important source of revenue for the cash strapped nation. Austria. Cuba had largely contained the outbreak. But after the country reopened to tourism, the number of daily infections and Corona virus related deaths rose to its highest point. So far from Havana will grant reports Some of the equipment Havana's Finley Institute, maybe a little outdated, but the science itself is cutting edge. This hundreds of vials passed through a sorting machine. They're part of Cuba's greatest hope for a solution to its Corona virus crisis. So but on a DOS Cuba's domestically produced cove in 19 vaccine made entirely in Cuba by Cuban researchers, so banana dos is a conjugal vaccine, meaning and androgynous fused to a carrier molecule to bolster the vaccine, stability and effectiveness. The island has much experience in this field. Having developed the meningitis B vaccine in the late 19 eighties with the same approach. Certainly the Communist run government his confidence so, but Anna dos is. The solution is already in phase two clinical trials and they aimed to vaccinate everyone on the island by the end of the year. In fact, says the director of the Finley Institute doctor, they sent their various Bencomo. There are ambitious plans to export it to the rest of Latin America commercial for what we're trying to have. In the order of $100 million during 2021. And totally will dedicate report of part of these doses to the full immunization of the country. That to happen, it will need the help of other nations. Doctor very says it's too early in the relationship with the Biden administration for the US to play a role just yet. Our make Europe Canada, So we have people participating in our drama from Italy and France. Fortunately, not today with the U. S. We hope that in the next fishery will be possible. We moved to a next step off rotation collaboration. And after, and Vasa pride, Barcelona Open son I don't know what for many Cubans, the vaccine can't come soon enough. The outbreak in Cuba was largely contained by the middle of last year after the government imposed strict measures from a curfew in Havana to daughter door health checks and an aggressive track and trace program. Anyone merely showing symptoms was placed into state run quarantine centers as well as anyone returning from abroad. Almost all flights were halted and tourism, the lifeblood of the island's economy, ground to a halt. However, eventually the economic picture became so bleak the government had to re open. Now visitors must take an obligatory PCR test at the airport and least in theory remain in home Quarantine for a day's Since the re opening, though the transmission figures in Corona virus related deaths in Cuba have crept up to their worst point since the pandemic began, one of the other girl, all those rebel in the government's daily televised updates, the covert 19 statistics have steadily risen to more than 1000 cases a day tiny in comparison to some nations like Mexico, Brazil or the U. S. It's still more than is comfortable for Cuba's overstretched health service has the island simply can't afford to buy millions of doses of an internationally produced vaccine, even from allies like Russia or China? The pressure is on the scientists working on sobered Anna dos. As Cuba's economic slump worsens. There are long queues outside most stores as people search for scarce basic goods. The recent coronavirus spike prompted the government to close down the tourism sector. Once again without millions of free spending visitors in the hotels, bars and restaurants, Cuba is hurting economically more now than at any other time since the end of the Cold War. So Madonna means sovereignty in Spanish and the government hopes the vaccine bearing that name will not only alleviate the island's health crisis, but its economic one,

Top 10 Haunted Crime Scenes

"Starting off our list of haunted crime scenes is the Eden Brown estate on the Caribbean island of Nevis. There're couple versions of this story and they all take place before a wedding. Of course, they do essentially the groom and the best man they get into a fight they pull out their vessels and they kill each other. Oh but they're not the ghosts of the Brown. Estate that would be the bride who still roams the estate and a long white gown waiting for her wedding day. Of course, she is the. Are. They're always brides dressed in their wedding clothes just waiting for their wedding day at these places and it's always really sad because i. they're also always like crying or like they look very like shock they've always been jilted. Yeah. It's not fair. No I. Don't like while in eighteen, twenty, two, this bride Julia. Huggins was set to marry Walter Maynard, his best dude John Huggins was going to be the best man but all was not well of course, there wasn't everyone died. Wheeler Alina a fight was a bruin. So there's like multiple stories about what actually happened and since the story was largely spread by tourism, they all vary a little bit. I feel like the best things in the worst things are always spread by doors. One hundred percent we can account for a lot with tourism well, like I said, there's a few theories. The first is that the grew was having an affair and the best man found out that was his sister. So he was like I'm upset and then the groom was like you are Eliah I think that was it that was it, but there's also some mortgage bonds. Okay. The next one is that the best man like I said was the bride's brother and the groom discovered that they were hooking up with each other on the low, and obviously he went a little bananas about that Allah incest a lot incest. So S- big ill. Another theory we've got another one says that the bride's father now, that's the dad this time was tried for mistreating his sleeves and this was in the eighteen hundred. So you know that was real bad. That was a sharp left turn sharp left. The groom having an affair. Yeah. That's like the classic in the best man is being a good dude and killed them died hero. It's a pretty good wrong com movie actually I picked up I like that one while historians think the real story dates back to a historical rivalry between the maynard and the huggins families the plantation itself dates back to the Century and it was at that time a beautiful property decorated with international furnishings from Africa and China. But today it's in ruins. Really. Sad. But sad torres claim to hear whales of a crying bride enslaves. ooh, and Julia is sometimes spotted in her wedding gown only during the full moon I don't hate that this is in ruin. Now what's meant to be will be yeah don't go there. It's terrible place. Nine. At number nine this week is leap castle and love this one according to ancient legends. Leap Castle is built on an ancient Druid holy site. ooh while we don't know if the druids used the land for human sacrifice, we do know that once the castle was built it did witness hundreds of murders I feel like that's just like what castles do. Yeah. Any good castle worth. Its name seen offend learning the hundreds of murders. You can't be a castle. You know it's a qualification. The best part of this place is that it's named after a little earl leap off a nearby cliff by an ancient Irish abandoned chieftain. ooh. Yeah. He jumped as a sign of bravery to win clan leadership from his brother later, it was taken over by the bloody carols. I want to be friends with them because you definitely don't want to be their enemy. Yeah. You don't want to be an enemy of the bloody. Oh Carols No. Well, they were known for throwing Red Wedding s dinner parties and just straight up killing their guests like the saddest episode of Game Fern. So to picture that was all is affecting me R.I.P Robb stark. Talk. About number be over it. Well, this was way back in the fifteen hundreds. So the it is pretty game of thrones Ian. Yeah. So the carols, this is one of my favorite things they built an uber yet a what an yet. and. What would happen was victims would fall through a trap door into this. googly. It in the remains of one hundred fifty people were found during a nineteen twenties renovation. So I think we have three major ghosts that we want to chat about really quick. Hit me up. One of the ghosts is called the Red Lady. It's an carol hostage, the murdered her baby. Oh, I don't WanNa be a part of them anymore. This is when I got off the OH. Carol, Bandwagon. You're. Not. In. She's looking for her baby though was murdered. Oh, I know and then we have thaddeus. So Carol who is a priest killed buys brother in a power grab anybody named Thaddeus as okay in my book thought he is a great name does the last one that I found was called the murdered lady was she murdered? No. We. Think she was I wouldn't Wanna be called the murdered lady later in life she shows up and she's naked has all yeah. Has a red cloth over her face and she just screams twice at you and then leaves that would change you as a person I think like to which say I leave I leave the Milky Way Galaxy. If that happened to me I would walk like five hundred miles and then I'd walk five hundred more which I would be so far. That's terrifying to me. No. Thanks. So we don't love that will in the sixteen hundreds after all that crazy. Oh, Carol business it changed hands and it went to Jonathan Darby who fell in love with an old carol daughter. So now it was just all about love right romance. Well, he still haunts the castle right now people as looking for his loss golds, but I think that's pretty priority of him. The other reports of things happening are doorbells ring with no one their tools move around without being touched There's like sounds of furniture moving people screaming, and then a carpenter that was working on the property once just left and he was like I'm never coming back to work because he walked five hundred miles and then five hundred more leap castle everybody.

WFH From Barbados

"Global tourism as you might expect, has been way down this year the number of people going overseas on vacation declined by a massive sixty, five percent in the first half of the air. But this hit was especially bad for Barbados the Caribbean island nation has built its economy around tourism, and normally this is a really great business more than a million tourists typically visit. Barbados. And they're all these businesses that depend on these tourist hotels and restaurants and local farms that supply the restaurants and all of these people count on the tourism sector. It makes about a third of Barbados's GDP as people started to halt their plans for trips to places like Barbados those jobs and businesses, they took a huge hit. So the country's Prime Minister Mia Motley. She had an idea and I spoke to UC skeet about this. He's the US director at the organization that promotes tourism to Barbados Prime Minister Recognize that we have an opportunity to welcome these individuals who are working. Remotely to come to Barbados enjoy all that the Allen has to offer and stole be able to work. So what it did is it allowed us to look beyond short-term visitor and create lungs. The visitor is on the island and the government developed a special new visa twelve months long, and they're just a few conditions you have to work for your employer back home ending at least fifty thousand dollars a year that is, you know you're not getting a job in Barbados also, you pay two thousand dollars application fee and you need your own health insurance which travel insurance can typically cover. Application is approved Bam. You can sit up let up in a hammock overlooking the Caribbean on horseback. Emiko horseback take your pick and you know probably not very surprisingly daring after having seen this ad over two thousand people like, Sean. Have applied for the welcome stamp visa and it doesn't sound like a ton but using explained why this is actually a really important economic boost, they have to find a place to live. They have to eat this hurtling going to participate in a lot of the attractions and activities in addition to that. Then no become because I can guarantee you want to come into the welcome stamping Barbados they're not gonNA WANNA leave. So they're also become a part of the voice that tells their friends and families at that. You must visit Barbados and I think that then has even longer term benefits and I. Think that's certainly a win win. But of course, this question comes up in my head, right like, could it really be this easy I? mean if it is maybe the entire population of the world is going to end up in the Caribbean. But to check this out, we went to talk to Tim Burgess. He's the CO founder of an international workforce company called Shield Jimbo he's working internationally is not always so simple. There's there's a whole lot of compliance and I guess I. Sort of administrative issues that people don't think about in this context. Tim says, there are two main obstacles to international working from home. So first of all, if you're going for a long length of time like at least six months, you have to start thinking about taxes. If you're for example going to Mexico you might become tax resident in Mexico, your employment say hold on now where liable for having employees Mexico, and of course, this is not just income tax right? Example, Hanshin State health insurance. Yeah. All the different components of social security a few moved from the US. To Franz the employees accost goes from about fifteen percent on top of the salary to forty seven to fifty percent on top of the summer. So it's not as easy as just going to a we work in Paris. It's a very gray area. Barbados got around this particular snag. They said, you do not need to pay taxes in Barbados with this particular visa just keep paying your taxes and social security to home country but Tim. Raises a second issue, which is if you'll say working for an American company but want to work overseas the company you work for start to need to comply with your new countries, regulations and labor laws like say, maybe you'll be forced to take the minimum twenty four vacation days required by Jim. Laurie. If you relate to Berlin, which would be sad. Yeah. I mean that would be a struggle, but I would be up for tackling that. So Barbados, really turned this gray area into a very simple and clear invitation to remote worker. They saw this. And so Darian you know we started talking about this and we were wondering like, is this the wave of the future? I really hope and my hope is that people take it up. It would be a really wonderful initiative and a great model that people could follow and a lot of other countries have realize there is a huge opportunity here Estonia has launched its own visa. So has Bermuda and so Shaun the business intelligence analyst from Charlotte she's a tastes case company said, yes, and to visa was approved and the horses in hammocks wait exactly excited I I couldn't believe it. I was like Oh my God he's actually going to happen. I'm excited to Sean paid her two thousand dollars visa fee, and she now has her flights booked for just a couple of weeks from now what are you looking forward to most about? Barbados the food. The food tasting. Some new flavors there flying fish is like their. Go to national dish it's something called flying fish, which I have no idea

Maria's first really great food and got to sit out on the water there playing country music like we're in a country Western bar in Houston, Texas, up there on that island. You think Michigan and Wisconsin you know, one thing's they're famous force cheese, especially like cheddar cheese at these homemade pretzels. With this Michigan cheddar cheese sauce to dip him in, and it was it was fantastic. But here's thing and I got turned on to So I had my buddy Lance, who owns operates their family owns operates the Newbury Country Club up in the Upper peninsula in Michigan. So they joined us for a day and in the evening Not there. He introduced me to one of the best craft beers I've ever had. And it's from the name of the beer. It was. It was a Bach was darker than, say, Shiner Bock, but not a thick Like heavy beer, dark beer like a Guinness, not a stop light beer. One of the best dark box have ever had. And it's called widow maker, and I forget the name of the brewery up there. But it was a Michigan based brewery. And so the widow maker with the homemade pretzels and the homemade Michigan Cheddar cheese sauce. I could've lived off that entire time I was there. And I don't drink a lot of beer any more. "Nude burt assed or I guess nudist Burder Olive Danielson to celebrate. We're actually all doing the show today in in the buff except for a precariously placed animal radio bumper stickers so Welcome back all tell us. There are rules to your birding. You're nude burden. Is that correct. And where do these rules come from. Well you know there's not really an organization of new burning so it's like anything else when you sort of the I gotTa Sorta get an organized so to get it kind additive uncovered so to speak you had. I had to set up some roles. Otherwise you know get out of hand. My Rule Sorta became one day when strangely enough. I pulled up my scooter on a on a road closure where there was a big traffic light like a ten minute. Wait to this convertible vertebral finding to naked ladies sitting in the convertible. Saying girl has to get some sonnets ally on a long drive from Seattle to New York. That's myself you can sneak around and all over the place in a convertible and naked and sea birds so that would sort of be against the spirit of the whole project so I had to make some rules. Also what are the rules. Well yeah I I couldn't be in a vehicle okay vehicle you had to be one step away from the car and had the door closed but you can also couldn't just break your duds in the trail you had kind of start on the trail at the most opportune play-doh maybe the most opportune place one hundred yards around the corner corner but from that point on you couldn't wear anything if you've got course if you got caught up the trail or suspicious that you're about to get caught of of course you cover yourself up and from that point on you couldn't count any birds you would have to go back to where he started which happened to be a couple of times so I was trying to make it tough but fair. What about footwear or hats? Footwear and hats. I think are were Neil needed so I kind of had the knees to neck kind of uncovered it does sort of thing because some places got hot needed a hat and of course footwear was always needed. Could you do this any in any state anywhere. Yes I took my Year I saw a five hundred ninety four species of birds during this adventure I took it from on North America and then The Caribbean islands north of fifteen degrees. which was a sort of an arbitrary point and I excluded Cuba because being American can't really travel effectively to Cuba wants to anyways? But I wasn't quite sure how this would work if I didn't include a couple of Caribbean islands where they have nude beaches although in reality the active done just fine without them. you could count every bird except like chickens accountable species now. The the birding authorities parties have sort of said the bird has to be free ranging. Camping zoo asked to be a self sustaining population. So obviously chickens are not self sustaining winning and some you know some other minor issues in terms of If you can count the species as well documented list of bird species out there for most burgers that we all sort of follow is is there Being as you know your nude are you less likely to disturb the birds or is there a kind of bird that prefers you nude burgers. I would say that it should make much difference but it did seem to me anecdotally. Of course that in some places the birds except me sometimes it seems like I could get closer to them. When I wasn't wearing anything but that could just be my perspective? I don't know any wild stories that come to mind. Well I got shot at in south Texas assist wandered onto a guy. My buddy goes to me. He goes You must not like you with no clothes on it. I looked at this or made a mistake and I looked at him and he was about two hundred regards away looking down at me with his gun into ready position and I wasn't quite sure what it was about but might have had more to do with remind stumbled on a growing operation in backcountry. I wasn't quite sure but we turned around and spent the rest of the day hiding in the mesquite until dark when we met each other on the road. But the was worried that this guy was in the coming chases down So that was kind of scary. One of my Many weird exploits that happen. Sometimes when you take chances you end up having odd the things happen to you damn straight. Would you recommend nude birding. It's interesting you know. It's sort of a key makes you feel one with nature. I mean it's something you can easily starting your backyard's guest asked depending on where you live. I sort of got a bit of a following up some people who will email me They're they're bird lists that they had seen you know clothing optional. And it's kind of interesting that there's some people out there doing this now but it's it's interesting not. I'm not exactly a lot of the places I did. Go bringing up a noculars. Our camera was always suspicious. So I wouldn't necessarily recommend that you have a book and before I say the title of the book confirmed I'm that these are all birds and the title. Is that correct. Yes yes okay. The book has called Bubis Packers and tits all Birds Ladies and gentlemen get your mind out of the got her there. What what's the book about? It's about my. I spent a year as I said nineteenth Art Nineteen Dot 2013. Seeing how many species of birds I could see while I was naked. It's a bit of a sociology. Study on a lot of the places I visited as well as my My birding exploits. A lot of weird.

"Entertainment. Colleen lindstrom. Bradley trainer. And. Oh, yeah. By the way, that cruise ship isn't just any cruise ship, right? Bradley. Yeah. Stop saying that cruise ship because inches to cruise ship. It's that Scientology cruise ship kids, and it's full of me souls. Okay. Really? It's just one person who has measles on the ship. But this has been the story that I you know, as Laurie and Julia would say can't get enough of for the last week or so so it's out there. Singing your old town road for five weeks straight. I'm over here going what is up with this cruise ship? So yes, Scientology owns a cruise ship. It's called the free winds. And last week. We learned that one of the crew members came down with measles. Well, why is that a problem or why is that newsworthy because we've largely? Catered measles due to inoculations and the. And it's been in the headlines again because certain number of people in this country think they know better than science and have decided to not vaccinate their children. And so there have been over seven hundred cases of measles throughout the United States. I think that's the number. I probably just pulled that off is something I read on the internet. So I could be totally wrong science. But that's why whenever you see that you can pull anything off of the internet and presented his. To quote, a previous conversation so back to this story. So when measles happens on any ship. It becomes a story. Well, of course, the media loves a good cruise ship story on the high seas. But those particular norovirus. You know? But this particular story involves not just any cruise ship as I said, it's the one that is owned by the church of Scientology, and I'm telling you last week. I did a little bit of YouTube spiraling and watch like a promotional video that the church puts out. It is the stuff is weird, man. It is weird. They have this crew that just rides on the ship till they can't no more. There's like three hundred people on this cruise ship that sail around the Caribbean. Mostly because those are the only ports that they're allowed to go. They were in Aruba. And then last week they tried to dock in Saint Lucia, which is one of the many Caribbean islands the beautiful island. Saint Lucia was like, no, you guys can't get off your boat because you got the plague on board, and we don't want the plate here because we all have had the vaccinations. Don't bring your plague here, we're trying not to spread that. So they gave them one hundred doses of vaccine. And sent them on the Mary way will then because you can you can literally follow any ship any registered ship anywhere on the high seas. You can type it into a search engine and find out where the ship is. So the ship left Saint Lucia and headed for curse while the people incur out, which is another island in the Caribbean. We're like, okay. So you guys can port here. But you guys can't get off on the less. And this is where we are currently with the story unless you can prove that you've had the the vaccine so the crew is going to allow or I should say the country is not going to allow anyone from that ship to get off unless they can prove that they've had the the Musil's vaccine. So it's just sitting there in Kerr sale at the port presumably waiting for. You know, everyone to get cleared before they can get off the boat. So imagine that you're on this ship, which by the way is I don't want to say it's a prison ship. But it doesn't seem to be as fun as some people would like you to believe yet because you hear cruise ship that just goes from career in island. Okay. Would you like some more lean clean that goes from island to Ireland? And you think well that sounds like especially you've Radley you'd be like, yes, thank do that. However, I believe we read about this very cruise ship in one of the many, Scientology, you know, bio biography, the things that we've read and this deep on the show big time and this ship is not just a regular cruise ship. And if you are on the crew of this ship, you are literally working your booty off your in service of the higher members of the church, Scientology, Tom Cruise celebrated a birthday on this cruise ship. And here's the fascinating thing. I was doing some reading about this ship last week. The fascinating thing is so they've got this crew it has to do with like the sort of higher. Order religious order of the church of Scientology's. You have to be part of the sea or gets kind of this like nefarious thing. But what I will not in the fairies thing, I meant to say sort of vague just mysterious thing. But what I was gonna say is they travel around, and they actually do some like charity work and some of the local Caribbean ports. Presumably proselytizing trying to get people to join them. Yeah. So they'll bring performers on board to sing and dance. And do shows and things Tom Cruise celebrated a birthday on this particular ship. So it's like this weird combo of cruise ship slash cult. That is just so fascinating. And I would you know, minus the plague outbreak I would love to be all up in it without actually having to sign my life over for ten million years, or whatever it is gosh, I am looking at pictures on the.
