"What have you. He was keeping plays alive and that was what was really cool to see. Yeah and on top of that. I mean there were two unexpected things to the public. It was keeping plays alive. And i think that really surprised everyone. I mean especially stiff arm. I think you could have got pretty good odd but teddy bridgewater getting a stiff arm and before throwing a completion. But then also the other thing which was very encouraging. And i think a lot of fans were very encouraged was teddy bridgewater throwing the ball further than ten yards. He had multiple completions that were beyond twenty yards. He had judy. For twenty noah. Fan for twenty five. He hit k. J. handler for twenty two. That's what people thought they weren't going to get with teddy. And that's why people wanna drew so bad is because the big place now did teddy hit a fifty yard touchdown. No but he the handler. The man's which would have been a fifty yard touchdown right. Was it a perfect pass. No but was it. Where i it should have been for it to be completed. Espn j. drop that so That was really encouraging to see. And just his composure in the pocket And going for it on fourth down that shows you why vic fangio won and teddy bridgewater. He has not had a quarterback that he's been this confident in his entire time in denver and bat is a huge behind the scenes thing and everyone said we'll why did he not go for withdrew in the preseason on fourth down but he went with with teddy and the preseason on fourth down it's because he trusts teddy. And we're seeing that bleed over into the regular season. And i love pretty much every single thing about the game. Zak is this surreal vic. Fangio is is this the guy the coach we haven't seen in the last two years because he didn't have the quarterback as you just said. Is this the real fangio. He's going to go forward on fourth down. he's gonna he's gonna take a few more risks. We didn't get to see that because he didn't believe in his quarterbacks and so maybe we're getting a taste this or was this just a rare instance where vic fangio is kind of coaching for his life on sunday. Be it go cheaper his life and he feels this pressures. He feel the pressure all the time. Because i i believe that this is who vic fangio wants to be now. Do i think we're gonna see three fourth down conversions every single week. No i don't think so. But i do think we're going to see a more aggressive vic fangio behind the scenes brady one of the reasons that vic fangio moved on from rich gang carello after his first year in denver was because he would he he gang rela with not merely as aggressive and victims like that. Everyone thought that he was mr conservative Because i in reality big thought it was rich being the conservative one. Vic wants to be aggressive. So would i be surprised to see the broncos go for it on fourth down every week or every other week absolutely not no. Why would and look. When the broncos got lead they just kept extending it here and they end up with a rare dominant. Blow out really..

"Asked them if they have specific preferences especially because there's an always in their schedule whether it's the team that hosts the all star being this case cleveland. You know what to do around that we ask teams if they want to to submit priority dates if there are certain dates that they wanna play because either a civic Event in town that they want to be part of or that they don't want to be part of because it's such a big civic event they don't wanna be playing there to be distracted from people's attention there so we go through that and i think we probably did the best we've ever done on You know following up on team requests and team priority requests in fulfilling them so our guys did a great job on this pat herald. Jeanne lee and matt bracy on on doing that and going through and keeping track of and making sure that we're cognizant of team requests and team priorities and whether whether their business or basketball arena based whatever whatever it may come from that segues nicely to questions from people on twitter. kale haley kale. Not the crunchy leafy stuff that we love in brooklyn ask. What kind of requests do teams make that influenced the schedule and then related to that from chris. Mccabe what is the strangest request teams can routinely requests a lot of things request. Some that are based on travel so in other words team that is going to play is going to have disney on ice for example in their building a certain point season. We're gonna make sure they try and get a home game as close to the beginning and as close to the end of that period possible because they know they're going to be gone for. Let's say seven to ten days That's one another one. I mentioned. there's a couple of teams that are how that are very big the near very big deal in our market Indianapolis oklahoma city for example. And they want to be part of that And they want to be part of civic celebration there so that they want to have a game in that window Indiana requested request a game on the weekend of college football championship because the game being played it looks all stadium and they thought that would be a great opportunity for them to get a game there that we can so we did that You know because you can look at it and say it's it's not to be detrimental to anyone else. It's going to work. And that's the way we we we evaluate those so. That's a strange one. I'm going to have to think a little bit about that. About strange ones. Not any strange ones. No i mean the atypical. Ones are when teams asked to play it. Oh we sort of..

"It's a it's a little less about the matchup as featuring the teams and players who we know are fans wanna see so sure there may not be a history or any rivalry with with dallas in utah. But we know our fans. Like tune into c- luca danni which we know our fans like the tune in to see donovan. Mitchell rudy gobert. They had the best record league last year. Like that is a game. That's going to drive viewership in that ten dirty window whether or not there is a a rivalry or a history You know to to the dallas matchup. And so i think we have a a great problem right now. Which is an an over waiting of teams. Who deserve that profile and that that played itself out on the abc schedule. Outside of christmas. I i think tom we set a record Lease under this current tv deal for the number of teams featured on abc schedule over the course season because we have so many high profile teams at the moment in high profile stars. Who who want to get out to the national audience now. I think that's right. I think that's objectively true. I mean we talk to the media about the races being a lot. Murkier this past postseason or going into it and even going into next season like we can all point to lakers and nets and the oddsmakers. Certainly have but i think we all understand like. There's there's a pretty sizable group in both conferences. That have a case to make and that hasn't always been the case so that speaks to the the challenge you guys faced for the scheduling christmas. The other thing. I thought about what the christmas day game. Maybe you can let me on this part. The obvious thing would be like if there are teams that bad blood or the rivalries or deployed in the finals. They play in the conference finals. Go ahead and match them backup or somebody got traded match those guys up and and we go for the grudge matches in the drama the personality conflicts. But it seems to me that with some of these teams are also maybe looking to promote. Tell me if i'm wrong. Certain teams were players. That maybe haven't gotten as much national run recently. That what like. What is the balance between going for. Just the obvious. You know spicy matchup that everybody will immediately recognize. Oh yeah i wanna see those teams play other again because they hate each other or there was a trade versus place teams on christmas. That you want to Boost by giving the national platform that maybe hadn't had as much prominence. I think it's i think it's a little bit about. I think you want to take the opportunity to use it to promote Teams that may not have been in the national spotlight as much maybe maybe preceding lectures plus right so let's say a team like atlanta but atlanta certainly played their way into getting onto christmas by their performance throughout the playoffs last season. So they they're they're a great example of that. I think the other thing is you know. As as evans said you've got a lot of marquee players the teams at fans want to see and this gives us an opportunity to do that..

Apple argued that crawley products could be dangerous if they fall into the wrong hands because security flaws discovered by liam could be used to hack iphones. Apple also argued that chromium sells its product indiscriminately claim corallium denied dread. Rodney smith called apple's argument on those claims quote puzzling. "Traded their tenth overall pick to the Steelers and got tight end Noah fan at number twenty. They picked up a second round pick this year and twenty twenty third rounder in that deal right now, let's get into it with Broncos insider, Mike Klis. Good morning. Mike morning, guys, April Mardian, Julie Brown with you. I offer you surprised that they traded up to number twenty. No, not really that. Was that was always one of the possibilities. It made number ten has traditionally been a trade back spot. Usually there's teams that won a quarterback. And we'll trade up to go. Get a quarterback a little surprise at Pittsburgh traded up for an inside linebacker, which is Devin Bush at I do think the Broncos probably had that trade not gone through. And it was kind of a last minute on the clock trade that they got it done. I think they probably would have taken Devon Bush. You know, he is a good player. But in the Broncos case when you're coming off five and eleven and six and ten you trade back and you get Noah fans. So right now, it's fan for Devin Bush trade let's say and now you get a second round pick today. Theoretically, a second round pick is supposed to be a starter too. So it's kind of a two for one. And then next year you get an another added bonus in the third round. So I thought it was it was a good move. I didn't see too much difference between player ten and really player forty or fifty in. This draft is Noah fan is that a need for the Broncos tied in secondarily is this a reaction to have Joe flacco as well as he used Dennis Pitta in Baltimore knowing he likes his titans. Yeah. That was a factor. Rich gang Carello came from San Francisco in the forty Niners, which is from that kubiak offense. They always had a big tide in targets in the passing game. You got George kiddle just ate up the Broncos for two hundred plus yards last year in the first half Daniels with the Houston Texans. When when Kyle Shanahan, and Gary kubiak were down there. So tight end is is essential tied in target is essential. I think it's bad news for Jake. I think the Broncos, you know, could not. Rely on him a third year after with the ACL situations that he's had. And so they wanted a mismatch tied in in the passing game and knoll fan was number one in this draft. Since a better all around tight end from Iowa. But fantas the better receiver threat Fant was the target or do you think the plan was to get center Garrett bradberry? Bradberry are other guys that they like they liked. Wilkins from Clemson as they traded back. A couple guys that they like him off the board Wilkins went to Miami. At number thirteen the Boston. I can't remember his name. But Boston College had an offensive guard that the Broncos really like so but failed was yeah. They they had phantom their board. He was always a trait back possibility. They were never taken Fanta ten they they did have Fant in case they traded that has Broncos insider, Mike Klis. Thank you for your insight. We appreciate it. All right. Seven seventeen here. "Rebecca Juliana Carello CEO treatable talking about CD Bronx. So where we left off Yuliana was on some of the benefits that folks are seeing and using some of these products on pets in a little the science behind it. Let's turn a little bit into what it is where it comes from how it's manufactured. So first question on that is how is he be grown and processed. Well, as many different ways that it's grown, and processed we've identified very specific cultivation process that works really well for our product line in what it is basically sort of a hybrid. I guess you could say between cannabis in hemp in that it has this full cabinet my profile, minus the THC, and this was basically accomplished by scientists and cultivators that were looking to create a product that was CD rich that could be shipped across state lines in was not necessarily classified as cannabis because as you know. Cannabis has stricter there. Stricter restrictions around how cannabis products can be extracted and infused and then sold as infused products. So we needed to switch to a hemp based product for the ease of being able to provide the product across the country to all animals. So really what this product is. It's made from hemp derive CBD. And as I mentioned this relate looks more like a cannabis plant because the cabinet profile shows all those rich can have annoyed that you find in a cannabis plant industrial hemp tends to have very low levels of all canal, even low levels of CBD. But the problem is if we were to extract these vital can have annoyance from the cannabis plant, the THC content would just be too high to include in an animal product. So it was necessary for us to switch to the hamp. But we are strong believers. In what is called the entourage effect? And let that is is that all of these cabinets when working together a a person or an animal they're going to work more efficiently together than if they're isolated. So when we give an animal just CBD, we might see some great results, but we're going to see better results, if we give an animal a full plant extract. Meaning it's got CBD maybe C B N CD a CD v. All those other cabinets that have health benefits, and they seem to work better together than when given alone Gajah. So there's today's learnings for for anybody that wants to impress their friends at the cocktail party the entourage effect. But that was actually a great explanation of it. So folks can look this up. They're going to see a lot of acronym. Terms like CBD impeach CR. Those are at least two labels you find commonly. So we talked about CD a little bit. What does PR stand for? And how are the two different if they are? So so CBD is the actual acronym. Given to canal dial all of the canal noise from him and cannabis have a three or four letter acronym associated with them because they all have like a lot of syllables and a mouthful to get out. So a CD is really just an abbreviation. Now, those of us in the industry that are recognizing some of the legal issues that are coming up with CBD along with the fact that we wanted to convey that this product actually has more than just CBD in it. Switching to a term, which is PCR. That's basically the new verbiage PCR means Fido canal, rich, so our PR oil is not just CBD rich. But it has CBD CBD has these other cabinet? So it just made sense to make that change to PC our oil instead of just calling out CBD judgeship. It makes perfect sense. So you mentioned the legal issues, and I'm sure I'm sure you get a range of perceptions on this from folks at a very educated to the perceptions of this week for my dogs. So what is the legal backdrop? In current state. Cher. Well, I mean, we're talking about chemicals that have a very unique place in history that unfortunately because of how this country has dealt with cannabis over the last seventy five plus years starting with this product being recognized as a schedule one narcotic so cannabis still sits on the controlled substance act as a schedule one narcotic everybody in the world knows that this is ridiculous. But, you know, unfortunately, there's reasons for its placement as a schedule one narcotic, and obviously everybody that's involved in this industry is looking to see that get changed. But in the meantime, what it's done is it's essentially restricted all research into Canaveral lights. So if it's a schedule one narcotic, it is deemed as harmful it's deemed as not having any medical value at all, and is therefore blocked from research will I don't know of any other substance on earth that has this profound of an effect to a person or animal's health and wellness that is still considered partially illegal mono- federal level. So obviously, we love to see some change here. And you know, when people complain, oh, well, there's not enough research. We need more research. Well, we're not gonna get much more research until we. D schedule cannabis, and sadly, what's happened. When you look at the time line and the history of all this CD was discovered or at least became largely well known in the public's mind after cannabis was placed on the controlled substance act. So now, we have is a completely non psychoactive substance with profound medical value has by default become a schedule one narcotic, and that's crazy. I can't disagree with you on that brings you the background on it. Did you see the traction across the US with legalization of both medical and recreational marijuana Ducey that opening up a lot of future opportunities for where this class of I want to call it a drug probably putting a wrong label, but classic substances becomes more readily available and better tested for therapeutic and medicinal purposes. Think that, you know, the expansion of medical cannabis laws with lead to the federal government actually rethinking this. But those two don't seem to be going hand in hand. But what's happening instead, which is probably counterproductive to what the federal government actually wants to happen. Is there simply strengthening the medical cannabis movement in keeping this federally illegal while it's legal on a state level has created all kinds of confusion and hasn't necessary. -sarily moved the needle on research because as long as we've got cannabis as a schedule one narcotic federally that means they can restrict banking. They can restrict research they can restrict interstate commerce. There's all kinds of restrictions that come with that classification. So our biggest hope of all the things that we'd like to see change the biggest change that needs to happen is removing it from the controlled substance act, not just for the sake of CBD. But so that we can study all of the canal, and we can study them on all species. There's so many questions we still don't have answered and we keep hitting roadblocks with research because of this federal classification not to mention how difficult it is for businesses like ours and others to do banking. I mean, we've had so many challenges with regard to that. And it's it's absurd that we have to go through this when we're simply trying to make our. Animals feel better with a completely safe and nontoxic substance that is grown on earth and has been used by mankind and their animals for thousands and thousands of years. I can only imagine being on your side of some of the challenges does have what about messaging? I mean, you are a product company you have to market you have to message to folks, what type of restrictions. Do you guys have with this class of products that you have to be sensitive to let me can't make any claims at all which is tricky because we get reviews, you know, all day long about how effective the product is on all these different conditions. And yet we can't really provide that information on our website. The FDA would not allow it. We cannot make claims about any substance that hasn't gone through proper FDA trials. So if you look at our website, we've pared down substantially on that information out of necessity and for remaining compliant. It's not the way we wanna go. But it's the way we have to go in our intention is to stay in business..

"When he was the guy calling his place their new offense coordinator scan Carello comes from San Francisco who he learned under Cao Shanahan, pal. Shannon and learned offensive football play calling from his father, and Gary kubiak. So if there is a positive some way some spin flacco should feel comfortable scheme wise, and they do have pieces, and he goes in and taking over for case keenum who led the Broncos to a six and ten record last season. Throwing for almost thirty nine hundred yards eighteen touchdowns fifteen interceptions. But earlier on ESPN radio Armenia crimes. Kind of riskier, right? And I kind of see why Elway get it. So he's had a John Elway has had a really hard time. Finding quarterback does. No secret. Not just in terms of, you know, the free agent, but also grasping and developing his record has been really bad since Peyton Manning, which most people say well does Peyton Manning not exactly, you know, executive year material right there. I will say, you know, people questioned him because of his age and coming off the injury. But that said the last two years has not good on. Well, so in some way clean and understand why he thought going with flacco who has. He doesn't have a high ceiling, but he doesn't have like a low floor, perhaps, you know, way fine. Although he has very good over the last two years him thinking. Okay. Well, ability position a guy come in run the offense. They want you, you know, traditional pocket passer under center, and I get that. What I don't like about it aside from the fact that I don't sneak flakowitz. The best quarterback available is that they're now committing twenty eight at least million dollars and resources to the quarterback position. And they don't wanna have a good quarterback. Right. No matter what they do with keenum. They're going to have to eat like ten million dollars. Even if they they cut him. And I think they're going to try to trade him. Good luck with that. So from a financial perspective from a resource allocation perspective, it just doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Yeah. It sounds like keenum will just be sort of floating, and I'll figure out what they can do with him flacco. We'll get the nod. Do you think there's even a chance for us to see what flacco? Still has with a team like the Broncos that doesn't have a ton of weapons. And that's that's the problem. Right. Because we don't, you know, the part of the reason keenum struggled. He was a terrible last year. But part of the reading it wasn't great. Was that offensive line is just a real problem in Denver? And when you then twenty million dollars and quarterbacks that limits. Your ability upgrade the offensive line. I think that being reported that it was a fourth round rounder for you know, flakowitz you actually have to four I believe, but you know, they they've got a lot of work to do you? Remember, they traded Thomas who also was released recently as they could bring him back, and they know Sanders toward. So the whole offense safely upgraded again. They just devoted a lot of resources to a quarterback. Who went imagine a lot of help. Don't flacco Super Bowl MVP became expendable in Baltimore with the emergence of Lamar Jackson. The trade also makes case keenum expendable after his one season in Denver contract extension agreed to in Philly. That's next. Sportscenter allnight, ESPN radio..

"Hello, everybody. And welcome. Business on pet labrador on your host Gabon's. Thank you for joining us today. And today we're gonna talk about cannabis dogs. Does that mean dogs well kinda but not exactly the cannabis that is used for dogs is hemp as not marijuana? And for some time hemp was illegal in the US because I got lumped in with a lot of other forms of cannabis. But today you see Ecorse hempseed products in stores everywhere round you from skin care products, healthy foods, drink, supplements, etc. But the hemp that's used for therapeutic benefits for your dog isn't exactly the kind that's on the shelves or your local market the hemp that's us for dogs is a whole herb cannabis. So a little background on this might help marijuana and hemp both come from the plant cannabis sativa, the cannabis plant has over sixty chemicals called cannabinoid. There are two main types of can happen. Wade's commonly referred to as CBD and THC my attempt to pronounce the official names CBD's are the. The therapeutic can apple as well. THC abnori. Get you stoned marijuana's THC content to range anywhere from ten percent, much more depending on what you get where you get it. And in contrast, the hemp plant has a THC content of less than half a percent. So it's non intoxicating for both us for dogs. Hemp, however is much higher in CBD, which is the substance that provides the therapeutic effects. So with me today to talk about all this is an expert Juliana Carello CEO and founder of treatable a hemp wellness nutraceutical company for pets in two thousand thirteen she launched treatable which now features full line of products, including choose dropper, bottles and gel caps. The start Sunday night and says chances now eighty percents now accumulate accumulating one to three inches, but sky's cloudy skies in the afternoon. So it's taper off. All right. So we're going to meet the Denver Broncos offensive coordinator is name is rich scannon Carello. He was the quarterback coach in San Francisco under Kyle Shanahan, and we had him on early in the show. We wanted you to hear it and here he is. Absolutely. I guess I'll start the same way. I did with Eddie. Welcome to Denver. Have you spent any time in this town prior to? Being named the coordinator. I have not I mean other than visiting as a as a coach I have not spent much time here. So, but I've heard some great things and support our coaches have come through here said I'm going to love it. So coach Rick Lewis. I'm a former lumberjack. No, you spend a little time there. And and from what I hear you loved it there in flagstaff the the climate here in Denver's pretty similar to what you get inflec- staff. We may get a little more snow, but I think you're gonna like it here. Yeah. This is I grew up in northern California and Tahoe area and stuff like that in the foothills, and I'm looking forward to being in the this this area place your path to where you sit today really is an interesting one in a rather unique one. I mean, a lot of times you're gonna see guys that jump into the league whatever level and spent a long time in various capacities, and then the sort of work their way up you've worked your way up. No, no doubt about that. But you've spent a good. Amount of time in the college game. And I want to ask you just from an offensive standpoint. What how does that? Or does that help you in terms of sort of what you bring to the table from an offensive philosophy. Well, I think when you're in college football is such a different game in the NFL now, and they're really going in two different directions. And I think when you're so there because of that there are different and fresh ideas and college at you're exposed to the rules are different. And so that it does give you some ideas or some foundation to help. Do we lose rich? Yeah. You got me. Go ahead and continue your thought. No. I was saying, you know, it's college football's chain, which are you're supposed to different things and some of that stuff's making its way to the NFL. And yeah, you're able to give some fresh ideas and help help do that. But I also feel like my experience in college. You know, I was trying to run a pro system. And it's part of what pushed me to go. You don't have to make the move to the NFL. Anyway, I could the game it change and fans we're seeing a different land. They wanted a different style of play kind of a follow up on Dave's question and back to any you rich from what I understand you. You were there you liked it there and you're making good money. And then you quit to go down and join Kyle Shanahan in Atlanta to just kind of further hone your craft so to speak is that is that how the story does that. What she did. I find that pretty cool and pretty inspiring. Yeah. So I mean, I was you know, two thousand twelve thirteen fourteen in northern Arizona, and we had three great years were very. Successful three the more successful years ahead during the head. Coach's tenure and we built something really good with a young team. But even even at any you I could just sense that everyone was you know, the the way the world was the spread offenses. And and I wanted to get back to what I knew I knew I had to take a chance. I was I'm a I'm a single guy. I could do it financially, and I took a chance, and I knew Kyle was the guy and I knew I had opportunities. There's actually another opportunity almost played out for me in the NFL with someone else who was on a hejab that year a better off. But when it didn't happen. Dan, Quinn had saved a spot for me. And I was just very fortunate to get around the guy I wanted to be around. And I knew if I did a good job for him. And I could prove my abilities with him that I could do it with anyone and it really it's gotten me where I'm at. And we're speaking to a new office coordinator, the Broncos risking gorilla. You spent a good number of years with Kyle Shanahan. We're familiar with Kyle here in Denver, obviously. And I saw Kyle play when he was in high school. And of course, Mike is dad, but look two or three things is sort of impressed. You to the point that you you will bring those things, and maybe there's more maybe this less, but from Kyle's off circles way of doing things that you can implement within sort of what you believe in authencity here in Denver. I think philosophically I've always aligned with Kyle. And I tried to emulate that I knew some guys who've been with them and I'd studied it from afar, but I didn't know all the intricacies. Obviously, the the knowledge that he has and it had an experience. He started at such a young age growing up with his dad, you know, he just he just ahead of the curve for coaches it. It just happened happen that way for him. Get exposed to that his knowledge how he thinks how how he teaches the quarterback and how it gets the quarterback to sink within our system. I mean, those are the things that are it's invaluable knowledge. And and I think he's one of the best added. And if I you know, and that's what I want to bring to the Denver Broncos in and help build a offense. It's very similar in structure to what we did. But adaptable to the players that we have we're talking to the Broncos new offensive coordinator, rich gorilla. You said some nice things about case keenum coach in how do you feel like you can make case keenum better better than he was last year? Well, I mean, it's part of it is building an offense. This skill set in part of it is you know, he had a lot of young players around him last year in and just, you know, letting him do the things that he does best, you know, in you know, it showed a display in Minnesota. And that's that's the thing is like ET did a lot of it confidence. He he helped the team get to a NFC championship game. He made people around him better. And he had had a lot of qualities that that you're looking for in your starting quarterback. And so I want him to feel that confidence. And it's our job as an officer staff and and put him in a situation in a system that allows him to do that. And I think that's gonna come down to fundamentals scheme. Players all of it. It's just a car. It's a combination of a lot of things. And and I think that's part of what the system has that flexibility. And I I think it was reflected in the fact that we played different styles of quarterbacks and they all were had their various degrees of success in. And that's all you can ask Warren. I think we can do that without without question with case. And that's rich scannon Carello. He's the new offense coordinator for the Denver Broncos. And he said some nice things about case keenum did which now makes me think maybe that's the plan. Although they could also be trying to keep the rest of the NFL on their toes as to what they're gonna do. Maybe in the draft. I don't know. I think that rich gang guerrilla due to the fact that he just got here as a coordinator, honestly, would would not no. What the Broncos are going to do at quarterback. I'm not even sure the guys making the decision would know right now, if they're gonna go with case of is there a way to get somebody. And they feels better than case will they draft a quarterback high in the first round do they need to move up in the first round. Can they slide back not a great draft quarterback? So I think scan grow is just being completely honest in terms of how he viewed case keenum and what he saw when case was in Minnesota. And then conversely, what he saw last year because rest assured when he was interviewed he was asked about so what do you think about case giving you a guarantee that question was posed?
