"Frankly, because they work from their beach house. I saw it happen. I can hear the surf crashing in the background of one of my deputies who was calling in on a Zoom. I mean, I mean, listen, if you can, it's a nice work if you can get it, but nobody else is working that way. You know, the government, HHS, I know, and CDC, I know, are still working from home. I think a lot of the other bureaucratic agencies are working from home. Washington, restaurants, bars, a stores, union station, is empty. It was one of the coolest places with. Food courts and things like that in the city. Absolutely empty. It's completely falling apart because there's nobody in the city. Nobody, except for antifa, nobody's in the city. The bureau bureaucrats in Washington don't go to work. They work from the suburbs. It's absolutely hysterical. Our government is run by people who are too lazy to go to work. It's amazing to me. When people in Buffalo, western New York, they got to bust their asses every day. One of the reasons why we lost so many lives during the storm in Buffalo is because people were coming home from work and got stuck. In Washington, they had been playing their violins because they didn't have enough ice cream. The way it is today. We wonder why we are the way we are. "And finally, after two years of doing nothing about him accepting couraging and couraging this whole criminal activity, he goes down there and they sweep it up before he gets there. And absolutely makes me crazy. Every American should understand that we're under an invasion. And the real victims of it, the real victims are the children. And I want to go to that for a second because this is my problem with the border too. You know, it's 2022, 2023. Your phones are at your fingertips. I have mine right here, right? I can go look this stuff up. It takes me 30 seconds. I don't even have to fly to the border. I can just see it, right? And people can always say, oh, well, maybe you're getting a worse video than it actually is. Well, if I see a video of 55 people walking across a river or swimming across river to get there, that's bad enough for me. So we have people coming over here. Let's even say they were all great people coming across the border, which we know they're not. And they weren't bringing drugs and they weren't bringing, you know, they weren't shopping children over here. At the end of the day, we can't as a country take on millions of people over a two year period. We just can't do it. I don't give a crap what type of people they are, what they're bringing or not bringing, but you can't do it. Right. First thing we all need to understand is that Joe Biden isn't in charge. A people around him come mostly from the Obama era, but also from the Hillary Clinton campaign. The people in charge of this whole situation are folks that want to fundamentally change this country. And this is why I think it's the most the thing that I'm most hopeful about is that most of these people are Hispanics, but a lot. A lot of them aren't, you know, there's a lot of people coming across from, you know, from Asia and from Africa and even Ukrainians now coming across. You know, and Russians, by the way, military age Russian men, right? The fact of the matter is, most of them are Hispanics, right? And I think it's a strategic error by the Democrats. They want Hispanics here because they've owned that demographic for a long, long time.

"I think really the person who could write a book about this or at least shine some light on it is Byron donalds and I don't think he's going to. Well, and I was going to say, so is this a lot like football, right? Like a game plan. You do some film work. You've put together a defensive or offensive game plan. Is that what happens now we just talked about how it works with McCarthy speaking to Donald or gates or whoever. But is that what happens to with the 20 that are not voting your way, they're also talking game planning strategizing and to say, yes or no on these issues? Well, step back into the Mar-a-Lago for a minute. And if you understand the three or four people who are around Donald Trump right now, they're all extremely talented, very deeply experienced political operatives. You know, this was not some random thing that happened. These guys are orchestrators. They've been around like Susie wiles who's his chief of staff. I've known Susie since I went to work for Jack Kemp in 1985. You know, these people have been around a long, long time, and they're very smart. That's why I think this was gamed out. This was planned from the very beginning. And when I see MTG on one side and Gates, on the other, it starts looking pretty smart. I was going to say that was an interesting one. And I do want to talk about Gates now, again, before I go back to the swamp. For Gates for a second, he's the leader there, right? On that side, I mean, I don't mean to put anybody down, but it just seems like what Gates does they follow. If Gates doesn't do something, and again, I don't know which ones it is, but Matt Gaetz was in control there. Was he not? I think president Trump was in control. I know that's not a popular opinion. But listen, one thing about Matt Gaetz is he can't be bought. And there's nothing he wants or needs from Kevin McCarthy. I think the folks who are in that, you know, the big 20. They realize he was a, he was the leader they needed. He's not necessarily in charge of the freedom caucus. He's not necessarily someone who leads the charge every single time, but this time they knew that there's no way he was going to give in to Kevin McCarthy and they needed that kind of stiff spine out there to run their effort. I think he was in charge of this thing because he's the toughest son of a bitch in their caucus. And there was no buying him. So let's talk about that last because I was up watching it and it was reality TV on Friday night there. So obviously it gets to that vote at 10 o'clock at ten 30, whatever it was. Gates decides that not answer or was he not there first off when they called his name on the roll call there. There's no way he was like accidentally in the bathroom. Okay. So he decides to not answer, right? It goes around, they miss again, right?

"I will be running this meeting alone, but we do have a very, very special guest. Chief of communications at amero cono media and well-known of the buffalo area, Michael caputo, Michael. Thanks for joining us. Nice to be home. There's a lot to talk about today. I do want to stick to a few topics, though, because there's a million things we could talk about. First off, the whole last week from Tuesday when they got back on it was just quite the show in Congress for the Speaker of the House voting. You know, first I want to take it back a little bit to just the very beginning, the initial couple votes that were made and obviously did not go on Kevin McCarthy's favor. There were a lot of people in the beginning and throughout the process, you know, picking on Matt Gaetz, picking on Lauren boebert, picking out a lot of the 20 of the people that were not voting for speaker McCarthy. What were your thoughts going into that? Did you think this was going to be a 5, ten, 15 round voting session or did you think it was going to be a couple and they were done? Well, I didn't think that McCarthy had the votes. And admittedly, up front, I'm not a fan of McCarthy's after all the money he dumped on Carl palladino's head in western New York, $2 million of dark money to destroy Karl palladino. I don't like the guy after that. You know, but at the same time though, he clearly had more votes than anybody else. He just didn't have 218. So when I saw the kind of Alamo stand of Matt Gaetz, Lauren boebert and the others, I thought it was going to be quite a long process. You know, I'm not new to that process. I was deputy director of the house radio and television correspondents gallery. That's a long way of saying I was deputy director of the newsroom for TV and radio in the house right off the house floor. I had gone through two different speaker elections and they were Democrats. They were both a Jim Wright and he was coronated both times, but you know, these rules of the house were designed long before our fathers, our grandfathers, our great grandfathers were born. They were designed to bring the will of the people onto the house floor to select the speaker. So if it didn't go, McCarthy's way on day one, we were just following the concepts developed by our founders. This is democracy in action. And when I saw Gates and the rest of them doing was adjusting fire, adjusting the rules of the house so that we could actually fight the battles that need to be fought. When the first one didn't go well, and I was talking to a lot of people who were whipping the votes, you know, I'm a close ally of president Trump's, you know, I talked to people who opposed McCarthy like Roger Stone and others. I knew this was going to be a long, long week.

"We provide access to exclusive audio interviews between me and authors who have appeared on the show where they share their wisdom about Riding in the business riley. It's a great way to get a good education. You're lifelong learner. Like i am but enough with us. Pro let's meet. Today's how welcome to the show. Thank you so much for having me. I've been really looking forward to speaking with you. First of all you have the best voice and you should be on radio. Like i just i listen to you all day long. Just read a menu. All relax you in my book. I need to take some of the land is wade magic but it in the reminds me a story when i was in new jersey arguing a case one time the judge said mr way. We don't have all day if you would play speeded up a little bit so i decided i'm going to try most of my cases in the south anyway. Congratulations thank you. Thank you very much. Yeah it is and so you say that. Some knowledge of energy healing. Mindfulness and shockers is helpful. For the raiders. I come into this mall. Heard those terms before i'd like to just very briefly. Just give us a little bit about each. You know what you think about. Energy healing awfulness and shockers. Yeah i think that For me energy healing isn't limited to whatever. Your religious background is like for me. It's all encompassing. You can have different views of that. But healing energy infinite. Love doesn't care if you're a catholic or jewish or protestant or muslim or any of that It really is just connecting to the source. Love i like to explain it as you know when you pray and you want some information energy healing kind of an answer to that in an immediate sense in a way that may be. Some people aren't used to but it really just makes you feel warm. Seen invalidated in shocker. Our energy centers In the body most people who do yoga Know about them. In the body there are seven And there the colors of the rainbow moving from the base of your body up through the top of your head And we can go really dive deep into it. But i really also like to say even if you don't fully understand it. It doesn't mean that i'm not seeing it or feeling it for you and then i can help educate you wherever you are in the process if you're just beginning to explore or if you know someone who's been doing it for years we can meet where you are and make it safe In nice process for you Talk yogurt one time. It was the hardest thing i ever did. When when i said i don't think that's a sport my wife said well come on out and let's try and i could hardly walk after i did it but i remember talking about shockers and that kind of thing I intuitive healer You talk about having spiritual gifts you talk about these things called clairvoyance clear audience clear sentiments claire cognizance and clear guston's. That's the way. I can never say either straight. What what is it. What does that mean being able to see. Feel thanks maybe the rest the rest of us. Humans don't yeah. I've learned onto read people. Who interview me so. I promise i won't do that to talk. But basically it means i can see here in feel things When i'm working with someone and often. When i'm not but i don't i'm not like theresa caputo and i don't start hammering at people at the grocery store that's just not nice Get paid for that that so basically if someone comes to me a lot of times people don't have the words for their feelings they just know something's off. Or they're like in a heightened emotional state and so when you're near me What i will feel or for on the phone. Or i'm looking at you. Something i can just start feeling all of the stuff that's going on in your body and then it's almost like someone's narrating a dream in my mind i'll see images and i'll hear things and those are also from your guides. Guides can be angels people who have passed the you know it can be like all sorts of things that depending on how into the whoa you are. I can go there I don't all like always getting caught up on. Who's showing up. Because people get caught up in the the uniqueness of that instead of healing part. And i'm really interested in the healing part so yeah i'll just start getting aches and pains in my body. I'll get headaches alga. I'll know things. I'll just know them things. I can't possibly know I'm not a psychic. Like i can't i don't know lottery numbers if i knew the market was going to boom like you know. I'm not like that. It really has to do with helping someone feel better about themselves and be able to operate and achieve. Whatever it is that they want. I don't have an invested notion of what you should want. I just want to help support you as a person i had. This thought i was gonna ask you later. I just asked now. Because with the pandemic you had to deal with folks over zoom whatever. I got the sensory in the book that you sort of have to be in the same space with people. Pick it up. So can you pick up things just over zoom here. I mean yeah. I mean i could read you easy. But i'm like i would say i. I've always done phone sessions in. Sometimes i prefer them because when people do zoom they like to be a certain way and we'll be in a room that's perfect. Some people will try to control the situation. And then i'll pick up on that energy on be like you're trying to hide. You came to me for help. Don't hide so. It really is the moment i tune in and i ask permission and you give it for me to read you then i can just start going there. We'd better we better not do that on the listeners may never come back. You know so. When did you discover holly that. You had these intuitive gifts. So i've always had them. I know that everyone else did it. Because it was by normal. When i was young. I was so afraid of the dark because i could see and feel things that i didn't understand that you know i was like oh my gosh. What's that. I had an anti chair in my bedroom. 'cause my grandparents had antiques and they were just share them so luckily and there was a rose in the back of the carving and at night it was faces every night it was different phases than i had the biggest pile of clothes on that chair all the time. Giant cover it. I had a voice that spoke to me To help me in my fear of the dark. Every night. And when i was twelve. He told me that he was going to come anymore. When i called for him that it was time for him to move on. And like go and i was like. Oh my gosh. then he. Then that happened any went away I really understood that. I had special gifts. When i got sick. And i had to have surgery and Had had a hysterectomy and that's an energy center. That's your second shock. And when i woke up the world was quiet because literally had been removed. And i was like i didn't realize how much i was always receiving and then i kind of had to rewire myself and he'll and then i got all my abilities back even more powerfully. This question is to me. you got a lot of friends assumed your friends sometime. Say no holly. We're just going to go out and have a drink. Don't.

"Chelsea handler recently wrote a book about her experience going to therapy and dealing with the loss of her brother when she was young a tragic accident and he died and she started seeing this Therapist or psychiatrist and and one day. He just handed her an orange and was like this was from my tree in the backyard. Here's an orange hands a tour and she starts sobbing. I don't know if you've heard this story. So then she recently had a podcast and she had the writer of the book signs on and she made a reference to oranges being something that sometimes people who've passed like we'll show you if fair around or if they're present and so. I had a boyfriend pass away almost exactly seven years ago suddenly in asleep and i never felt connected. I felt like gone in the abyss. And i felt like there was never any of those moments where you could feel it in our house and i never felt him and so this was a couple years ago and i'm driving yoga and i'm listening to this podcast and i was like fine and i thought it was like you know what matt if you're if you're still here or if you're here you know show me an orange today and i pull into the yoga studio and i walk into the studio. I put my hat down. Then i sit down and then i noticed behind me. It's hot yoga by the way like people do not bring snacks into the studio. There's a guy behind me peeling being. Yeah and i. You can't make that up no and then it happened to me again in vancouver. I was just up there for work. And i was on a run and i passed a guy who looked exactly like And i was like ok. Where's the orange whereas the orange and there was a guy coming out of his front door throwing an orange peel and a planter on his front yard. Like it's just that kind of stuff. It was so right crazy. Is it because i finally knew. Was i asking something specific or was i ready to to see that. I believe you're ready to see it. Secondly i always tell everyone. Don't ask because like you can't say. I wanna see four butterflies in trading those by saturday and i know it's going to be a of times. Signs and symbols are great when they come when released expecting it. But that might be what you needed to hear and what you were able to. Then connect with So it doesn't necessarily mean that is crazy amazing experience as you would tell him as you were telling the story i so my symbol for a home depot. That's my symbol for what we see someone that looks exactly like a person and we just see them for that split second and then when we get closer. It's like wait a minute. That's not them. It doesn't even look like them right. Know how they're able to do it. But they're able to like put their souls into someone else to show us that they are with us. Wow but you also connect with music with him to is that correct. Yes okay so just asked him to validate that and he showed me the song on the radio that you here for like. You're not playing it on purpose. It's not a current top forty hit randomly. You turn the radio on change. The channel and it comes on That's him his soul. It's not that he's the song it's his energy that get you to do that. But you will smell him or send him like behind you or is it. Why do i just felt like someone was standing behind me. I mean i'm i am wearing his sweatshirt right now. Oh shit did you do that on purpose. Yeah yeah i didn't. I forgot that. I had it. And then i was like. I'm gonna do this because i feel like. I have a hard time like. I said just like finding him in those things are but that's the thing i we say to people. Don't look so hard he. Did you ever think that that song was him when you were hearing the song ever like all i feel with me like those are the moments way you. It's that feeling of whether he's standing behind you just that knowing. Whatever it is the thing is nobody can tell you how to feel. Nobody can tell you how to connect with them. So but yes so oh. You told me that he died. Because i was just having difficulty breathing so i couldn't take a deep breath so spirit will bring through that the departure but didn't you had the dream of him. I had a lot of dreams like after right after he passed away. I had a lot of dreams with him but then but let me just say that. See i don't treat on my loved ones that have died so don't take that for granted. I don't connect with my loved ones in that way. When spirit shows me the visitation. It's my symbol for that you had a spiritual experience where they showed themselves to you that they were okay. So gonna care fits for a split second. But he was fine. He was smiling. That was a visitation of his soul. To say i'm with you. I am at peace and i am not suffering. He just said there was no way that my passing could not have been prevented i also. He's a little private. Because i could feel like he kind of blocked me a little bit. Which is fine. I would just like to express it because again. That's his personnel then like quirky. He's doing like this crazy dance. And i'm like what are you doing like stop being silly but do you connect with the number seventeen. I dunno if it's a seventeenth of a month if it was an age whether you met or the month of january and the month of july as far as birthdays. Anniversaries my birthday's in january. He passed in july. Okay i my job is just to make sure that i interpret everything correctly okay. I don't need to know specifics. What i also learned from channelling spirit is that there. There's things that spirit might not want to talk about. They might wanna talk about the way that they died or how they died. And i say to people and to me i don't care i'm not trying to be rude at the end of the day. You lost someone that you have to continue your life. You're in the physical world without and it stinks and it's not fair so all we need is that peace and that is it but was there some. Did you date him in school or something with school was. There's something done in honor or in memory of him because he's shown me like releasing balloons. And then i felt like i was at school. So typically that's if something at the school they do in honor or memory of them whether it be a scholarship of fun of foundation. Sometimes we just think about doing those things and we never do it. Yes To validate that his soul knows what was done and more importantly has attended in spirit. Okay did you happen to randomly. Just talk to someone in his family. Yeah battle dating. His soul was present. No way i would know that crowd now. You would not know that the school is crazy. Because didn't he throw you that big graduation party becca like right with roaming st- yeah. He threw me like it. Took me a forever a long time to finish college. 'cause i was hung working and going back and so he threw me this like massive graduation party. I mean i was like twenty six at the time. And i wore like a graduation cap and like the whole thing and he flew my parents out a whole lot of hearty i. Yeah she's like. I have to us when when i was talking when i was channeling him. Did you feel something whether it be like a breeze. Like a warm feeling a chill. I mean my whole body. Okay no that. That's his soul. Because what i do is i ask spirit to allow you to feel them in the exact moment and something that you typically don't feel some people feel warmth. Some people feel like a little goosebumps. Some people will actually feel like a little brush like a little kiss on there so he was showing me all of those things so acknowledging what you were feeling knowing that that is him well. Do you have a dog. i do have a dog. Does your dog act odd for like no reason sword of and i got her like kind of right after he passed when oddness know that she is responding or acknowledging his soul because the way young children are is the same way. That animals are Interesting thank you. He did it not me. He's really stubborn so he's so mad. Now i understand the blocking. But he's he goes theresa. You did not say once how good looking. "To unfold through the messages you could feel and i think that's the thing that i love whether it's watching the show or listened to the podcast you can feel. The healing begin. Really is an incredible. So what do you say to a lot of our friends right now. Have little toddlers right and these little kids and talking things like whatever. Can you talk about that phenomenon. And what we're supposed to say to the kids when they're like. Oh look there's you know well show them pictures. That is the first thing that i tell people show them. Pictures of your loved ones have died. Sometimes they'll make reference and they'll say. Oh i saw grandpa and they never met grandpa before. Or they'll say oh. Your dad said that he loves you and imaginary friends young children. It's very easy for them. To censor souls of the departed because their minds are clear as adults were busy with burdens. And the should've could've would've or we. You ever think when you think you see that shadow go by and you make up a million excuses tired. Maybe something just flashed. By the lights flickered while maybe it was like a little storm or no that's your loved ones so It happened actually with my brother when my nephew was they brother called me up. He's like jason is seeing dead people and it's all your fault and hung up and i'm like that was my fault and i said to him. Show him a picture of corinthians dad because my sister-in-law's dad had passed and he said that was the man that was in. The pantry was her father while. So that's why i say just embrace it. Don't make a big deal about it. They may outgrow it. They might not but because for them. It's so comfortable. it's so natural and show them pictures of people that have died. And i guarantee you. They'll say oh that was them That is an when they they look like right by you or they typically stare at corners in in a room because they can see the soul. I feel like familiarizing kids with that. When they're younger that can probably help set them up to not be as scared of death and not have all of these fears that we do as adults because everything is kind of based on that. So i i think we're just think about it. Were scared or afraid of the unknown. Right we don't know what it's going to be like and some people even say to me. Well how do you and like if there's nothing that we're not gonna know i'm like so it's not gonna make friends so let's just like embrace something faithful right or happy and if there is nothing that we're not gonna know anyway drought us all right when we come back. We have to talk about the oranges with theresa..

"You go to therapy. I'll wait too but not not for not for talking to the debt. I just go to confession and confessed to every. I still talk to dead. People are just wondering why i feel like your insides and your brain must be quite heavy. It's again it's almost like people say how do you turn it off. Turn it on. i don't. I don't know how it works so i think that's one of the thing that that that gets me when people like. Oh she does this. She does that. And i'm like oh i'm so glad you figured it out because i still don't know how this shit works. It just happens. Like i've said for years like all of a sudden my my brain will like as i like. Give a speech. When i'm ready to work. Like i feel like my brain just clears out of its own my own personal thoughts feelings and emotions and then it just becomes the emotions of the soul that i'm channeling and the person that i'm reading and i actually did it on dr oz and on long island medium. Wear this brain expert. Read my brain. As i was reading someone. And he said your brain he goes. You're talking. he was when you were reading. He goes not only do you. Access a part of your brain that we typically don't he says but when you're reading like there was no activity in your brain like my brain flatlined. Yeah also i remember so told teresa before we started recording my childhood one of my childhood best friends worked as a producer on her show from like season. One he's known her for a million years and i remember asking him when he started. I said the real deal because we all know that like reality television sometimes sometimes not he said to me goes back. It does not matter where we are if he matter if there's a camera it does not matter if it's the most inopportune time if something happens if something comes over her like she's reading it and it is so real. I was like well. I'm a believer. Because he would tell me your bullshitting listen. You can't make this shit up. I know how you know like listen. I struggle with my gift for so many years From the age of twenty eight until thirty three. Because i was like i. I am a catholic and so i struggle with that with my gift and i was like okay now got bless me with this gift. But who's gonna wanna come and see medium and talk to their relatives that have died. I could not understand that. What i learned is that unfortunately no matter who we lose they die young or old we hear in the physical world are left with burdens and gilts were left with. These should've could've would've maybe only and at the end of the day all of these emotions do not give us the ability to heal. So i put my gifts in. God's hands and i said if this is my soul's journey here in the physical world i will walk through every joy that you will open for me and here i am and the turning point for me was nine eleven after nine. Eleven happened I had a spiritual experience where i was told that there was so many souls that needed their loved ones to know that they were a piece. So and and here. I am i you know. I can't i can't tell you how it works what you know. I wish i could say to someone who do you wanna summoned today from the other side. It's just whatever. I start to send feel and look on the first one saying that's crazy. That's common look. There are common as people die common burdens and guilt that we carry but the thing that i ask spirit to do is to bring up and talk about things that someone would not expect something that would be no way that i could find out or know about so they bring up. Things happened maybe years ago. They talk about things that happened after they died. They'll talk about things that you how you feel things that maybe you that you haven't shared with anyone else to validate that they hear you. And then the best thing is that personality. 'cause it's like you're the only one that knows your loved ones personality and i love when spread ha and they're like oh my god. That's exactly what my brother would do. Or that's exactly how my grandmother would say that. So so wild. Okay dad not to bring it back to me. But my dad had a near death experience and When as my parents got older we've talked a lot about mortality. And he's always said to me like baby girl like you don't have to be afraid to die. It's wonderful and i was like i just heard back. They sent him back. Oh my god. So he. And i see parents so i don't know if they see so when i see like when i sense a soul like if i see parents it could be like grandparents or parents had had to be that bond and that they sent him back in that he had this beautiful spiritual experience. Yeah he was like it was so calm. It was so comfortable. I felt so safe. And so he's like. I've i've never been a scared to die like i was like this. I always tell the story because it brings people so much. You think it's going to be like this. My gosh horrible horrible. He's like no babe. Like we're good and i was so crazy. So do you think the afterlife is scary. Like i think about not at all i i only know from what spirit has shown me and it is exactly that peaceful. I might not always see what exactly might look like feel. They always make me feel what it's like and how many times of soul will say i suffered for years with a disability. And they'll say if i knew it was this peaceful i would died years ago. Oh my god but it really is amazing on. How and it's i just recorded I just an episode of pay spirit yesterday of a woman and you literally could feel the weeping lift from her. As as the reading was happening in the beginning she was so guarded and so afraid because she didn't know what to expect she even like really. She knew who i was but never really saw the show or knew anything about may so she was so guarded. And then ask..

"Today doesn't need an introduction. Everyone and she might know what. I'm about to say before i say it. She's a new york times. Bestselling author reality show megastar and the most miss medium in the world with a wait list of over two years. She's a podcast with her. Shohei spirit and you can also see her live like literally. Now you can get tickets. She's in your city during the platinum experience today. She here's to tell us about the afterlife. Show us our futures that are full of fame and mutable in and she's also here of course to give us tips on combat combing our hair for jesus. Please welcome the iconic theresa caputo. I'll my god. Thank you nice so i think that is the most amazing intro. Anyone has ever done. She's good at it. You're incredible. I just want to send the stage back away. You set the stage of where because this is a podcast. But i feel like we need to know what we are looking at this moment. Okay we'll right now. Teresa not only has the most epic perfectly quaffed hair. You've ever so theresa right now typically freshly colored because he cannot see a route. There's not she is in her her background. Looks like one of the ones that you can choose on zoom where it's like. Oh today i wanna look like a rich bitch but it's real. It's the biggest closet. I've ever seen in my life with like beautiful clear. Your red twentieth like the clear closet yards and all your closer put away but you can still see them like in a boutique. That is what she's sitting in front of. It is only just a casual dior. Tote over her left shoulder christian dior just on the floor in the perfect perfect. Bought you just kind of the christian. Has its own chair. Look that's a bench. The curricular has its own chair. There's also a staircase in town is big poster. You need to look close because they're sitting here from target. Hmo like i literally just came back from alabama and. That was the might travel bag. That i am the tote that i used to travel and total my stuff. So she's a love. We stand a high low coma. Mahatma i mean literally like shoes still in bags like on the counter back there. So i love and the roots are there. The roots are definitely. they're barely barely. Your hair literally looks perfect. Yes and what people don't realize is still live next door to my parents. I live right next to the house that i grew up in so i might have this mega closet. But i live in a my. My home is very small very modest. I love where i live. I lived on this plot since. I'm five on so forty nine years i've lived on this block and i wouldn't trade anything for the world to be still next door to my parents so i say talk about separation anxiety i on the same trust me. It's probably why you're so cool. And so i think successful in hollywood. Because you have not done the move to beverly hills you have not done the awhile. Tv star everyone knows me on my contact like My shit doesn't stink like you've stayed pretty grounded. I honestly i don't. I'm still floored when people like. Oh my god. I'm obsessed. I love your show. I'm like you know who. I am like i still. I still can't believe it. Because i never thought in a million years i mean. I didn't wake up one day. Say to my parents. Oh you know what i think. I'm gonna talk to dead people for a living. And i'm going to have a television show and i'm going to travel around on a tour bus. For half the year and channel dead people thousands of people in theaters and arenas i never thought in a million years. I'd be where i am. And i still say it to this day. I'm just theresa caputo from hicksville. And i have the amazing ability to give peace after the loss of a loved one. And that's it. Do you think that your ability to talk to people is also does that. I'm trying to word the threat way. Does that give you the perspective that allows you to stay so grounded like you know what really matters or because most people would not be in your position and still be living in the house in the street. They grew up next to their grandparents. Like we're all so up in that way but we also can't talk to the dead. I think you're right. Maybe because of what i do i don't know any different. Ira people. i was born. This way. I don't know anything different. And i've always sent some felt things i've always said things ever a little odd where people will. What do you mean and no one ever made a big deal about it. And i was just very lucky to have an amazing family that supported the crazy things that i would say i used to say to my mom like all the time like i don't feel right. I feel different than everyone else. I feel like i don't belong here and mom literally one day said to me. She's like well. Stop saying that because you're not adopted and there's no reason why you should be that way. You belong in this family and one of the things that i always say when people say i like what did your family think it was. It was the day that my we buried. My dad's mom nanny burgandy and i was talking to the drapes and my cousin was like who you're talking to and i'm like i'm talking to nanny and he's like nanny is dead and you're talking to the drapes you're freak and walked away from me like he's still tells the story and it's just it's just who i am and is that is that like the first moment that you really felt that connection other people saw on your family. I think it was over the years. But i think for me. When my grandmother died it was really hard for me. Because i didn't know that. I had this ability. I i will believe that everyone has the gift. The ability to connect with their own departed loved ones because that is a sole bonds that can never and will never be broken when we lose someone. it's just that physical connection and i want. That's really why i do what i do. I want people to know that the things that they sense and feel that they can better weird or crazy. Know that it's them. I say their little halos from heaven. And it's your love letting you know that there with you at that exact moment so for me when i lost my nanny. I think it was that moment for me where i was like. Wait a minute. she's dead. But i still hear her. I still feel her. And like i remember freaking out at her funeral at at her waist like screaming and trying to get out of the casket. It was awful. I was sixteen. And i look back on that now and i know why but it wasn't until i was almost thirty that i knew that i had this ability to connect with everyone's loved ones not only my own loved ones..

"The just pick out well if you haven't turn this off already. I wasn't the one who took it to the boring place joe monologue. We're the ones that board you. I was giving you something exciting rage income. My bad week is this. So i recently returned from. We care which beckon i had gone to last year. It's like a cleanse that you go on. I did three days. And like because as you guys know i had been on a really unhealthy track and i kind of needed a reset and so i've been back on the health track and if you've been listening to podcast since the beginning we're six years in just know that every three months either out of bad tracker good track and i know all in like there's no medium for me but anyway so you know this time. Last time we went with back had a friend had support and so we got like really obsessed with like checking off our drinks like did we have our green juice. Did we have our carrot. Did we ever aloe this time. I didn't have a friend. And i was like a little more lax about it. So i'd get the kalanick and then she'd be like don't forget to take your probiotic and i was like no problem and then i go back to my room and like six hours later. I'd be like oh. Yeah i'm supposed to take the probiotic so i came home monday after this. I have the king ranger of all yeast infections because sucked out all the bacteria. And my god. I feel fabulous. My skin is glowing. My vagina is on fire. And i'm on my way to a trip sexual trip with my husband. So i used to still have a use infection. I know so. I mean not to get in the gory details but i tried to fix it myself by taking all the east pills and like doing that and i like three days in and i was like you know what the vaginas still itching. So i'm gonna get a die fluke. And now i'm waiting for it to clear out but the thing about a yeast infection is that it lasts longer than you think even after the itching stop. It's still in there so like member that time. I had sex with a guy. And i gave him the eastern section on his penis given herpes. Oh yes yes it's ringing a bell do you. Did you not use my super great trick of the coconut. Oil and the tampa. I accidentally used all my coca oil making the healthy sola to stay on track. Katie weber's web thing and i haven't bought groceries because we're going on the trip. It's a nightmare in this life. Anyway when we come back Theresa's here and she's fabulous. Something about me doing something that i had just posted about so i felt confident that she did know who i was because i was. Don't you worry. I was so paranoid that she was going to be like hi. I don't know who you are if you want to take a picture fan and you'd be like yes. Actually her husband he's there to. He's a smoke. Shell hot talk. Show there just the golsen people also. Yeah that's my new best friends. What's up with you guys this week ago. so my good week is a dm that i got and the gm says. Hey jack longtime gang listener. I was listening to the episode tuesday and want to let you know that i'm pregnant and my girl name is jacqueline. Jacqueline lorraine leonard. I love the name. Love jack for shore and even my picky 's husband likes it. We aren't finding out if it's a girl so you can have one kelty if it is a let you know this november. So we've got a potential jackie becoming. Hey let me know when you have to. I feel like maybe if it's a boys you should still just name jackson. I can get the win but yeah we have you know potentially jack in the world in november. My bad week is. I was driving the other day and i had an inch inside of my nose so i go to start itching it with my fingernail and literally. It's it happened. The hottest guy that i've ever seen in the world's isn't even the first time this has happened to upset. Rolled up right next to me. Has this happened to me before. Yes yeah no. Do you have such long nails that you're really digging. No i was really. I was really like doing a good. But it's like it's literally that seinfeld episode. I was like. I'm not picking my nose. I swear to god i swear. I swear i'm gonna make an observation right now jack. What so. this is for jerry because you guys are probably gonna share life together so you talk about guys being hot a lot all the time you notice guys are hot. I just wanna say you're the equivalent to my friend's husband's point out like look at that girls tits in front of their wife. Okay yeah look at that guys height. So i listen. Do you whatever's good for your relationship. But i think we should have a playing here failed here with men and women the husband checkout girls but again. You're not wrong but like i it's just lives within meal hot guy but you can say differently. Like zach doesn't refer to women as hot or shows or whatever it just called the ford says we're the worst ya but i'm total hypocrite but heels. Sexual husband sexual whole things like oh. He won't unprompted. He won't really come on women's looks like if he's forced to be like do you think she's pretty cash is really pretty like you say he's handsome or handsome looking but you're aggressive guy is hot. I think i need to speak up for jerry right now. I appreciate that because he doesn't ever really say anything about it. But i know he's probably inside of the sole is dying old but every time i say that so not taking good. Good ginks just here to fix. Everyone's relationships therapy. Well everyone i'm so excited to announce my good week. Which is i was inspired by the internet for a new category of boo page that i had never thought of before. It's the new trend in bullet journaling. Which is the journaling. That i do. A lot of people are like. What are you talking about boo. Joe really just taking a blink note and makes peyton and it's filling it but guess things second by at target already printed on your gonna love this. The page is called the rage page. And it's just a page of all the things that you're mad about anytime you just write down lake people who don't wait in line properly people who do self-checkout but have never used the machine before just in very specific and whatever the things you're mad at you know what i mean. Well i just want to say my therapist used to make me do this. Like get it all out on paper but it's unhealthy to keep it. You're supposed to burn it. So i don't think it's good to have it living in your boudreau forever to get it out and release it and then burn it i know and then Yeah i like. That's that can't be good negativities in there. Then you just keep putting more than you look at the things that bugged you before you probably forgot about that. You're gonna be mad about and it's like this cycle that doesn't end and just compounds on itself. Okay wow thanks for coming. I had a revelation about bhutto's. Actually i was in target and i was like. I haven't booed since i was trapped in vancouver and i was like i just need to be able to see my schedule in front of me like i just need to be able to see it and so i go and i buy a calendar desk calendar and sitting there and i'm filling it out and i'm like why. Why do people booth joe. It's literally just this but it's already done for me like i was sitting in vancouver creating a desk calendar with rulers and colored pencils and. I'm sitting here. I'm like i have my life back. I can just by a desk calendar. You're not wrong. I like doing it. Because i'm like quite creative but like i don't you know that's why they.

Getting back into my life like listen a good week bad week and then i don't really get into the guest and i'm like okay. This is the gusts league. I've got stick around today people. Because i just had my mind gone. I'm not even okay and it wasn't even me that have my not even as fast forward through the good week bad. To be honest it was pretty incredible. So theresa the long island medium that we all know her as i mean she's been on. Tv for like twenty years. Yeah it she is amazing She's also just like beyond her gift is such a lovely human so sweet so sweet. I'm i was such a fan of her before. And now i just wow everybody. Don't fast forward through this and get to her. Listen to this. Listen to this but just in case it's time for good we yes it is bad. We know i'll start. So i got this new puppy barbara barbara bra barbara has a real name can come from like. I was sitting in the office and chelsea barbara. She's like it's just so far from orly. Well no no. It's it's to jewish ladies no name. It's a jewish name. No orally person name. I've met four. Women named orly what. It is very common hebrew name so early as a human name. And barbara's obviously human name. And i know jewelry. Barb babs back. I'm calling her babs. I already decided so cute. We mostly call her babs. I had a script supervisor on glee. Her name was babs and her name is bob. And she's just like one of my favorite people on the planet i mean. I didn't need my dog after her. But i needed anybody that i knew. What the name of babs to be cool and she's cool so Too little jewish dogs. Jewish ladies So i got babs. And she's been really good. She's been shoes mixed with a poodle so she's smart and they're really relatively easy to train potty train and all that stuff so i was like god. I feel really lucky that it's been a breeze. And so yesterday i got to i got to casual with babs. A letter have a little bit of free rein. While i was working and i go and i'm like you know what she's been very quiet. I'm gonna just go check on her and my bathroom and she looks at me and there's something hanging out of her mouth. that's clear. just you get into plastic. wrap like what. The what is this. And i go and i get out of our mouth. It's my invisible line. One that i wear like every night. 'cause i'm done with my invis- line but the final trae as what i sleep in and it's destroyed destroyed so call the dentist and it's three hundred fifty dollars together new also if you if you don't wear it for a couple of nights teeth. Start to shifting. You might be starting as line over exactly and i asked. The guy was like. How long does it usually take. She's like oh it can take up to like ten days. I'm like i need a whole new set of his line trays that be right and line. If someone is asking for replacement trae like could you expedite it. I just think that's so stupid. This happened with jared's too because he because with my night guard. I'll wash it in like an effort. Like you know like a denture cleaner to clean it. And when he got his smile. Direct club like washington evident but it ended up shrinking his invis- like this big. And then you need but he was in the middle of it so we need a new under like. It's going to be two weeks. To save the climate, we have to reimagine capitalism

"I am a tree hugger. I spent much of my childhood on the great lower limb of a massive copper beech alternately reading and looking up at the sky through its branches. I felt safe and cared for and connected to something infinitely larger than myself. I thought the trees were immortal that they would always be here. But i was wrong. The theresa dying climate change is killing the cedars of lebanon and the forests of the american west at. It's not just the trees since nine. Hundred and ninety. Eight extreme heat has killed more than one hundred. Sixty thousand people and unchecked. Climate change could kill millions more. How did we get here. There are many reasons of course but one of the most important is that we let capitalism morph into something monstrous. I'm a huge fan of capitalism at its best after all i'm an economist and a business school professor i think genuinely free and fair. Markets are one of the great inventions of the human race. But here's the catch markets. Only work their magic when prices reflect real costs and right now prices are badly out of whack. We're letting the firms who sell fossil fuels and indeed anyone who admits greenhouse gases cause enormous damage for which they do not have to pay and that is hardly fair. Imagine for a moment but my hands of filled with a cloud of electrons ten dollars worth of coal fired electricity. But caputo your cell phone for more than ten years. That probably sounds like a pretty good deal. But it's only so cheap because you're not paying for the harm that it causes burning coals sense poisons like mercury and lead into the air increasing healthcare costs by billions of dollars and causing the death of hundreds of thousands of people every year it also emits huge quantities of carbon dioxide. So another part of the real cost of coal is the climate damage it will cause and is already causing more than a million acres burned in california this summer. A massive floods put a third of bangladesh underwater. Hundreds of studies have tried to put a number on. These costs. my sense of this work and here. I'm relying on my colleagues in the school of public health and my friends and economics is generating ten dollars worth of coal fired. Electricity causes at least eight dollars worth of harm to human health and at least another eight dollars worth of climate damage and probably much more so the true cost of this handful of electrons. It's not ten dollars. It's something more like twenty six. The hidden costs of doing things like burning oil and gas and eating beef a similarly enormous and justice. unfair everyone. Who's trying to build a clean economy has to compete with firms that are heavily subsidized by the destruction of our health. And the degradation of our climate. This is not the capitalism. I signed up for. This is not a market. That is either free or fair. So what do we do. The easy on is that governments should insist that anyone who admits greenhouse gases pay for the damage that they cause however the moment. There's not much sign that governments up for this partly because the fossil fuel companies have spent the last twenty years using their heavily subsidized prophets to deny the reality of climate change and to show the politicians who should be regulating them with money. So here's my crazy idea. I think business should step up. I think business should fix capitalism. I know some of you are probably thinking fat chance. Did i just say that. Companies are the ones denying the silence distorting the market and lobbying. the politicians. I did but fixing. This is squarely. In the private sector's interest.

Trump Again Scorns Science on Masks and Vaccines

"Out front tonight the breaking news president trump taking on his CDC director calling him confused and mistaken to issue central to stopping the spread of the virus masks and vaccines. Let's start with this trump. After Dr Robert Redfield head of the CDC said it would be up to eight year before a vaccine is available to the general public. I think he made a mistake when he said that it's just incorrect information. And I called him. And he didn't tell me that and I, think you've got the message maybe confused I saw the statement I called him I said, what did you mean by that? And I think he just made a mistake. To Call, you said that you told him that he made mistakes. What was his response? I said what happened and I got the impression that he didn't realize he said what he might have said I didn't see him say. Okay. Well, let's let you hear him say at here is Dr Redfield today under oath. I think there will be. Vaccine that initially be available sometime between November and December but very limited supply and we'll have to be prioritized if you're asking me, when is it going to be generally available to the American? Public? So we can begin to take advantage of vaccine to get back to our regular life I think we're probably looking at third. Late? Second Quarter? Third Quarter Twenty twenty. One Okay. That is sobering. Late second quarter third quarter. That's the end of the summer of the fall of next year is a year away and it is long after Election Day twenty twenty. That was his honest clear scientific assessment president didn't like it, and then the present continued to suggest that Dr Redfield got it wrong today when he said this. We have clear scientific evidence they work. And they are best defense. I might even go so far as to say that this facemask is more guaranteed to protect me against Ovid. Then when I take a co- vaccine. The irony that the President United States he keeps saying he wants vaccine by Election Day to help him actually has one in his hands and refuses to have his own supporters where I'm at his rallies. That is pretty incredible. But here's the president again publicly rebuking his CDC director. I called him about that. Those were the two things I discussed with him and I believe that if you ask him, he would. Probably. Say that he didn't understand the question because I said to my in the questions, the one question which we covered in the mass. When I called up. Robert Today I said to him what's with the mask? I think I answered that question incorrectly I think maybe misunderstood. That's absurd that he didn't misunderstand and it was very clear. What he said wasn't confused and by the way it's not just that he said it today right held it up and said that about the vaccines and that it's the most effective thing we have he's actually repeatedly said the same thing, the mass work it's not even the first time that he is compared their effectiveness to that of vaccines here he is in July so. We're not powerless. We don't have to wait for a vaccine although I think we're going to be successful. Sooner. Than many people think we have the most powerful weapon. And our hands right now I mean it's it's an enormously powerful weapon. It's just a simple. Flimsy Mask. Consistency well, the president's words are not things. The CDC director can ignore tonight right and just hope they go away. They are a direct assault on him and they are a direct assault on the widely proven science. Trump's HHS spokesperson. Michael Caputo is actually now in a leave of absence for the kind of talk that the president put out there. So cavalierly today trump though of course isn't going anywhere. It's not a little guy down the totem pole caputo and tonight the CDC director has been forced. To respond releasing a statement moments ago, saying quote I one hundred percent believe in the importance of vaccines and the importance in particular of Covid nineteen vaccine. A covid nineteen vaccine is the thing that will get Americans back to normal everyday life. The best defense we currently have against this virus, the important mitigation effects of wearing a mask, washing your hands, social distancing, and being careful about

1 week. 3 suicides. 1 tragic connection to school massacres.

"Just the past two weeks. There have been three deaths by suicide people who in different ways survived mass shootings. Two were teenagers who lived through the massacre at Marjory stoneman Douglas high school in Florida last year. The third was the father of a six year old girl murdered at sandy hook elementary school in Connecticut in two thousand twelve sandy and Lonnie Phillips know firsthand that kind of grief their daughter was killed nearly seven years ago in a mass shooting since then they've made it their mission to help others navigate the public, and sometimes political aftermath these tragedies they travel the country hoping to build a network of survivors and offer victims and families kind of survival guide to grief preparing them for a future. Few can imagine your identity has been stripped from you by their its mother or daddy or father. Or sister, brother? I no longer have that title. I no longer have that relationship. And when it's violence like my cars was that takes a long time to recover from some people think that there's a timetable for Greece. Yeah. Yeah. The five stages of grief. Right. And you go through all five of me think. Okay. Now, I'm done. And they don't tell you know, you get to start it all again, and they're out of sequence a lot of survivors. Just don't know that especially going into it. You might find that what you have done for the last twenty years of your life or thirty years of your life has absolutely no meaning to you anymore. And that was certainly the case for us. It wasn't long after their daughter's murder that sandy Lonnie Phillips quit their jobs. They've gotten rid of most of their belongings and rented out their house. So they can travel around the country to mass shootings hoping to meet survivors and offer help. Scene of a mass shooting is not an easy place to come to can be like walking into a stranger's funeral. We don't know each other yet, but we do now but in grief strangers can quickly become family. You got a second mom here. We sold the Phillips's in Thousand Oaks, California, where twelve people were gunned down at a country music or last November. It is one of the latest stops on their herp breaking journey. Evan lost somebody close to comprehend it. Just days before they arrived here. They were in Pittsburgh, where eleven people were murdered at the tree of life synagogue is so interesting what you're doing. You're not trained, therapists. You're not counselors, and yet you're have upended your lives and reaching out in a very individual way to people at compassion. That's what it is. Not a mine, it's about compassion compassion. We get from those people too. It's not like it's a one way deal. It was in two thousand twelve that their daughter. Jessica Galli was murdered along with eleven others in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. She was twenty four and an aspiring sports reporter. Can you take me back to that? He s. The young man that was with her Brent was like a son test, and she decided that she wanted to taking to the Batman movie. And when the shooting happened. They stood up and. Never made it out. Both France arrived. He he was shot trying to save her. He went into paramedic mode immediately. Because that's what he does for living. And the phone rang who call you from inside the. And I could hear the screaming going on in the background. He said there's been a shooting. And I said are you? Okay. And he said, I think I've been shot twice. And I knew them that. Okay. Something's bad. And I said, where's Jesse? Let me said. I tried. And I said is she? Okay. And he said, I did my best I tried. And I said, oh, God Brent told me she's dead. And he said, I'm really sorry. I started screaming, and she was sliding down the wall screaming, and I grabbed her and pick her up to the couch, and she kept beyond just he's dead. It's been six years now almost seven and there's not a day that goes by that we don't still get upset and still cry. Brother's suicide and a lot of people say, you know, you're now part of group which you never wish you'd be an lifetime membership and the cost of the dues might as way way too high. Sandy is sixty eight Launay seventy five twenty one. John they've been living mostly on savings, social security and goodwill. I know you're on a deadline occasionally crashing with friends days doing they started a nonprofit organization. Call saviours empowered to offer advice in kinship in the wake of mass shootings. I get a couple of hours, but also to give families practical information like how to deal with media attention or how to get a body home for a funeral. It's Lonnie just checking in on their things that happen to the families of people who've been shot in a mass killing that do not happen to families of somebody who is died under different circumstances. Exactly. The worst part is finding out that the day or child has been killed that there are already websites that have popped up and Facebook pages that have popped up saying this is a false flag. And this didn't happen. Did you have people saying just go wasn't real? She's cry. Actor a real she wasn't there. He didn't lose it. Outer all the time. Negra song sisters dead Bobby since just because murder. Sandy, son Jordan has been harassed and threatened by a man who like many conspiracy theorists claims. There was no massacre in Aurora. Today's number mother. It's hard to imagine. But similar harassment now happens to families almost every time. There's a mass shooting Ness the worst count of harm. You can do to someone and you're devastated peren become apparent becoming more devastated. Shooting at century theaters. Up to the massacre in Aurora, sandy and Lonnie who were gun owners themselves filed a lawsuit against companies that sold gear and amunition to their daughter's killer over the internet, the judge throughout the case and ordered them to pay more than two hundred thousand dollars to cover defendants legal fees contract with them consulting to declare bankruptcy. And now consult for a gun control group to make ends meet. Right here. But they say they keep that were separate from their outreach to survivors. We don't ever bring up gun TULIO. You never bring up politics or guns advocate. We don't recruit. We don't do any of that stuff until somebody shows an interest, and we tell them, you know, you're not ready yet. The course of their new lives has followed a roadmap of American tragedies. They started in new town. Then went to Isla vista San Bernardino, Orlando loss Vegas Sutherland springs. Parkland Santa Fe, Pittsburgh and Thousand Oaks each massacre is different. But the look sandy and Lonnie see on the faces of those left behind is the same can't believe in the campaign. I want to believe it on Akot and Mitch warrants seventeen year old son nNcholas who had just turned a swimming scholarship to college was murdered with sixteen others in parkland, Florida last year, I expect the come home any day, Walter the house such a great kid Nick's younger brother, Alex who was grazed by a bullet doesn't talk much about what happened. He was in a classroom across the hall from Knicks when the shooting began their parents were nearby. Waiting for school to let out Alex called us and said mama in back of an ambulance. I was hitting the back of the head. And in my mind, I didn't really worry about nNcholas because there's three thousand five hundred that that school one child shot. What's the odds of chew of my kids being shot? And I took off to the hospital finesse admit, you can wait for nNcholas and. Yeah. They waited for twelve hours before finally being told nNcholas was dead within days, a mutual friend connected them with sandy and Lonnie Phillips. Remember that first meeting? Yeah. Oh, of course, of course, they had a houseful of people we felt a little bit like we were intruding on a very private moment, which we were. But for a good reason, I I was a little skeptical in the beginning. And I'm thinking to myself, what do they want from us? Why are they here after speak until them which to we lasted for three hours three hours, though? Yeah. And they took the time just a year, and when not here Fran reason Fien ties because you're in a place. That's just not of this normal life. Can can't imagine when you open house in the morning. You're just like why should I get up today? Why should I do that? And it's just so painful to feel this pain the whole day, and then to meet somebody who has been through this and six year layers, and they're getting out of sandy and actually see a way through potentially. Right. What are some of the things you kind of the list of things? You worn a grieving parent list is I know you don't wanna get out of bed right now. But you're gonna live through this in spite of it just know that it's going to take you a long time. That's number one. Number two, people are ripping you off right now as we're speaking there's probably a gofundme page somewhere and raising funds for the families and that money goes into their Bank account. You'll never see it. So be careful who you trust. So it's an introduction mass shooting grief one, oh, one to help them keep up the Phillips's or trying to create a net. Work of survivors who can quickly respond to mass shootings anywhere in the country. Volunteers like, Shannon, Caputo she met sandy and Lonnie in two thousand seventeen after surviving the massacre at a music festival in Las Vegas when I first met them. I asked him if I could go to parkland with them because that was after Vegas, and she was like, no, Honey, you're not ready for this yet. She's telling her story, and I'm listening to her and
