"So sorry lady the day catching america's gonna say go one more cap twenty five year. Tallahassee coats was on co bear. This not kobe daily show this week. Yeah i cannot tell you how bad it makes me. Every time someone interviews hausa coats no one mentions captain america. I think no one is black panther. And jud i forget what probably of this all i forget. How how they described that when they did that when the chadwick boseman died like they were they you know. They did the spectacle Abc they played black panther than they had a special name. Reviewed a bunch of people. Yeah they interviewed chadwick. Buzz mixing are tunnel hoc- coach because he knew them. And it's an yeah. Forget what they described those either like reporter something or writer but yeah no mention of comic books. I'm like you're talking about a guy who played a marvel character. You're not saying this guy actually wrote the black panther comic captain america. Now i know but it's like there was nobody in america. I'm like i'm like you're talking about the guy who played back panther. You're not going to mention this guy. Wrote the black panther comic kind of tied in. I mean granted. He didn't you know maybe they won. The it wanted to keep that secret stan. I get that but at the same time. It's just like screen. You know there was just back panther that books go and on. I don't know. Records are still going. Because i thought the last time i coached back answers from yet so Yes says i know. Yeah it's it's if that's you know and that he's writing captain america which i think. Is you know. it's not to be rude about it. But it's like captain. America is a to me. I mean to me is the bare deal is like the older territories the more stuff with territories his marvel superman if you will we don sales at least in in esso's and he is and he's wanting to say it's not my keys reading captain america as a well. I guess i gotta crushing captain. America as a writer. Oh yeah i just looked it up the black panther books on a long break. I guess it never came back after Cova after kobe manalo saying the next gonna be beyond the in february. So yeah almost reminds us but that's the thing is even right there even right there. Even within tallahassee coats character as a celebrity is say that kurt where black panther or even when they did that special. Just put at the bottom of the screen. Marvel raider exit will say author you know reporter writer of black panther i think honestly that's i don't know why you're not that's what it comes up to as i don't know why you're not i don't i it. Just it's an annoyance to me. I would love to see in Coats talk about. When i'm approaching captain america. I have to look at this idea. Of what if i was a blond-haired blue-eyed six Two white guy. But i was also kind hearted person who was wo kau. How would i be that person. How can i describe this person who is from the forties who lives to actual segregation. But who never really had the mindset of who. Don't give me that that that stuff. Don't tell me this people are less than me. These people are you know. would how do i. How do i write right. A person from the forties who was super woke in the forties. You know jones and eaten with his utensils because he was dating hungry at the time and isn't acting like that's the end of the world you know but i just don't understand how like in any interviewing does especially tv or something like why disney wouldn't like you know. Kind ask him. Hey can you mentioned your rain. Captain america hey. Can you mentioned the show. tyra hassi. Maybe he doesn't want to admit he writes comic. Patrolling maybe it's a reverse stanley like. He's like oh i don't want to say let people know i write talents. I dunno it bugs me and it's it's a small bug but he could help them because it's like you know you watch this intervene if you're like. Hey this is like a well. Spoken intelligent man. And he's writing captain. America black panther me an arm. I want to check this out. I mean this is a smart guy. I mean yeah i mean you know. There's a lot of facts. Maybe it's expressly. Because i could see a few years ago. Maybe saying you didn't want to write comics but now with like the success of the mc so many con- like superheroes fans out there. Now i understand. Yeah i don't know maybe that's maybe that's similar to is he. I mean not for nothing he is. She exists in a very high spot. And it's one of those things where you know you say as it turns out you know when you say someone has well-spoken if it was an oddity that is sometimes seen as a weird thing. Let's face it. You know racial dynamics in this country are messed up. I mean i mean. I don't know i'm not even saying that i'm probably i'd say there's a fifty percent of the country. That's not well-spoken okay. So fair enough. I mean i was. I'm not that well-spoken and you said he was on the daily show. I mean half the celebrities. Do the talk shows aren't the thinkers. That's what i'm saying you say. Hey here's a. I say when kobe was hosting the here. Here's what i mean. I guess maybe even point that maybe driven doesn't retirements bear would make their point of the interview. I feel like cool. But i haven't seen him out kobe recently. It's like oh. Man gomez de cabin. I don't want that to. It's like it's idea i built myself up and i'm in kevin smith. He built himself as a film producer and now writes comic books. Yeah sometimes some. Oh you know when when you know when he gets around to it but for kevin smith. It's sort of like a cherry on sunday. And i can see how maybe china has goes. Movie doesn't want to finish his sunday yet. Have my man. My sunday's done but that syria doppler rights little your credits but comic books at the pond amino off this is. What's fun about talking about this. The more i couldn't see his point. Now it's like he doesn't want that to be. And i get what you're saying everyone else was saying including myself five minutes ago. Oh wait maybe he just is like your put in the eighties nineties. A quick google search will tell you. He's writing black panther captain and look it up. That's fine. it's it's listed somewhere else but he doesn't want that to be the legacy when he wants to talk about things in less. He's there on a tour for chapter in america. Which injury did like at the time. Captain america came out. And it's like no. I did my tour. I'm done with that tour. I'm continuing your.

"I'm wearing a mafela. Hey how you doing car. And he's like who. Are you a hearse. And when i know the guy for over ten years and he didn't recognize me might recognize my voice. So it's like it can happen. I can buy. It wasn't wearing a hat. I'll just wearing white mass and my name tag even said mike on it so you don't listen goods so i can buy that some people if they're not expecting to see you there they just won't recognize you go to the expecting some captain america walking around his uniform with a shield on his back. Like what are we thinking was going to happen. That's fine again again. it's not. It's not a big deal at all. It's very fun very tense. And it's also tends because you think. Are they going to have a fight in the middle of a mall like there's lots of opportunity for fun things to happen there but of course it doesn't happen then they had to jersey turnpike. I i have no idea what you're what you said what it means exactly but i don't mean something it's a local referenced very dc. They would take the four ninety five belt up to the turnpike. Take the turnpike which is ninety five up to fake. Paint camp lay. I think they can't believe i liked this. Like i like how it ties into the original cap. American movies okay. I train here in everything i get. It's very good for that. And i'm very glad they did it so i i love the way he figures out. He's like this thing should not be here. Like that is also really good to see the flagpole from captain america where he pulled out the pan in gut flanked right back with peggy and even has little a little moment where he sees ghosts little him run up so i kinda just flash bhakta fifty some years ago. Whatever crazy. it's it's well done like in and the whole fact that he's like this. This is too close like this shouldn't be here. And that's what gets him to go. Look inside of it and then of course you find out..

"Weapon thirty meaning. There could be a bunch of unknown super soldiers or super soldier animals running out there but let's focus on weapon x and the implications here for the mc for just a minute. We've done a lot of theorising of this pot about how mutants might be introduced into the mcu. So what about this. We noted on our pod. Strange it seemed that the us government would wait. Decades after steve rogers's disappearance essentially until. Amy lonski to try to create more super soldiers. So what if he was only the latest line in a clandestine project that has been enhancing it perhaps brainwashing soldiers for years. Perhaps the emergence of superheroes beyond the control of any government caused this program to be escalated. Perhaps one of those subjects weapon x codename wolverine escapes seeking revenge for what was done to him attack certain politicians and military facilities which brings him into direct conflict with the vendors in two thousand six's wolverine origins logan. Who in the wake of house of m which is much complicated. Go into now has full possession of his undamaged. Memories ends up going after the people who turned him into a living weapon and attempts to make amends for the things that he did as part of the program one of the people he confronted an attack on the white house is the secretary of state she's quickly assassinated by weapon plus conspirators to keep her quiet later. Nuke appears in vietnam dispatched by weapon plus with the connivance of the president of the united states. As part of a ploy to lure wolverine and captain america. Both there hopefully to get them to kill each other and tie off some of these loose ends in two thousand nineteen wolverine and captain america weapon plus logan cap team up to try and cover the weapon plus conspiracy. They discover a base containing sorry again mail enhanced. Animal test subjects a bear still alive and also a dolphin. These part of the weapon to phase and littered with material from us corp stain international rocks on. They eventually discover evidence of weapons. Thirty and cap says then we track it down to the ends of the earth and we stop it. That's at least my theory about how the mutants are introduced. I love this quickly. Lemme go through some other known weapon plus products. You have phantom x a another creation of the new x. men who is super weird dude who's pretends to be french and is an assassin. You have the ultimate thanh was kind of like a super super super century. You have the huntsmen and you have the stepford cuckoos who were essentially clones of emma frost but later turns out they were part of the weapon plus program lot of weapon plus in the marvel universe and i think we'll see it make its way to the mcu. I love this great theory. I'd also just like to say you know. You mentioned steve. Rogers receiving a shot of a strange seething liquid that i would love to receive a shot of strange way..

"Finally arrives in europe after selling bonds nationwide and and having the super soldier serum stave off numerous bouts of herpes. And what have you syphilis. Gonorrhea excetera all of that bouncing off the super soldier serum in his in his bloodstream. Love then the other soldiers who were hard-bitten they've been serving already for two knows. How many months were just like. yeah dude. Whatever you're in a costume this is it. This is a joke. Just a lot of plot turns. You really want him to succeed. And then the ending. It's a sad ending without it being sad. You know it's a happy sad which is so hard to pull off. it's like stating a small death. Because everybody he knows is either very very older gone but at the same time like he lives on that moment when he runs out in times square and just looking around. It's crazy to think that. Wow this is the same movie that we've just been in where he's been bouncing around world war two era europe just a really really really fun movie a great performance and weld on again. I agree with you cheesy in a way. That's like unapologetically cheesy fun action. The whole bright colors really fire not afraid to make fun of the things that you might be tempted to make fun of but it's also simultaneously so earnest that point you made about like the shock of times square at the end is a really good one because one of the real signs of a successful execution here that even though the film opens in the present day as well you completely forget that as you're watching it lost. Yeah that's just gone really really cool movie that absolutely nails the depiction of the comic book origin of this character that it comic book origin that actually predates marvel super cool. Amazing all right. Let's dive into an hour into this. Podcast the plot uae. Do we love fantasy stories. Why do we root for so many of our favorite heroes is it because they have super speed or super strength is it. Because they're cells can regenerate at an incredible clip is it because they carry vibrating tools. That is undeniably part of the thrill of it. Right part of what we lose ourselves in when we daydream about what it would be like to be those heroes ourselves. But that's not what hooks us in the first place. That gets what to what you're saying about the origin story. We invest in the person who we recognize the person who's just like us the one who wonders how it would feel to have any of those things and who tries to make a difference even without them we root for the little guy we re for john where he begins to wheel along clar learns the truth of his parentage. That is why we. For steve rogers whose hands were small long before they grew arch. But who saw even then to move the wheels of his world. And in captain america the first vendors opening sequences we see cap signature shield glass layers of life preserving ice we hear the inspecting shield tech. Ask for a line to the colonel right away quote. I don't care what time it is. This one's waited long enough. He says but steve. Rogers was always waiting long before he became captain. Nonce directly with the bond selling theory tour act hitler's presence on that cover reflects something fundamental about captain america's origin and the brand of heroism he was designed to reflect as caps co creator. Jack king kirby explained it a nine hundred sixty seven interview with wbai fm's mike hodel hopefully aggregated. By the kirby. Effect website quote captain. America like all the characters came to be because of the fact that there is a need for them. Somebody needed captain america. Just as the public needed. Superman kirby continued and captain. How Does Captain America's Shield Work?

How Does Captain America's Shield Work?

"The official marvel comics database says that Captain America's shield is a metal disc that's approximately two point five feet in diameter and weighs twelve pounds. But Rhett Lane at wired magazine did some math and figured out that it would be more likely to weigh forty three point nine pounds despite the shield being made of a unique alloy combining vibrant. NEOM, which is. A fictional metal steel in an unknown third component. Elaine also figured out that the density of the shield would be somewhere between eight, thousand, seven, hundred, sixty, seven, and four, thousand, three, hundred, eighty, three kilograms per meter cubed. That is somewhere between the density of iron and titanium. Now in the Captain America Comics Story goes that Dr. Myron McLean was attempting to replicate Hercules Golden Mace fusing. Vibrant NEOM with an experimental iron alloy some say it was a steel alloy but even McLean didn't know what it was because he fell asleep when an unknown catalyst was introduced to the process he was never able to duplicate the process. So the government painted the disk and gave it to Captain America. But how would you forge such a thing? Especially since metallurgy is so complicated just The forging temperature alone depends on the materials carbon content. It's alloy composition maximum plasticity in the amount of reduction required. Was it heated by induction or by continuous fuel fired furnaces with material this unique you'd have to carefully control the heating process. Now, Ford ability is how easy or difficult material resists de formation and since Captain America's shield is indestructible, it would have to be a very Narrow forging temperature range meaning it could only be forged for a short time after heating with metallurgical factors like crystal structure chemical composition in grain-size at play the only way McLean could have diminished their influence would-be by adding alloying wants possibly compounds that easily dissolved with the metal. There are all types of elements that could have been introduced, but it's likely the captain America's shield was forged. Like a super alloy, this is how metallurgist refer to iron base nickel base in cobalt based alloys. Specifically, the ones that offer very high strength at high temperatures. These really high strength metals and iron based grades are the least difficult wants to work with. So that would narrow down Mcclain's experimental alloy to iron super-alloys are really difficult to forge because of their narrow temperature range you can't. Even use regular sizing presses in hammers on them because they will deform. They even wear down the tools designed for forging them pretty easily. They're also extremely expensive like ten times. The price of carbon steel sounds a lot like captain America's shield right. But how do we explain the shields ability to absorb kinetic energy supposedly from the vibe rhenium in the alloy usually materials absorb kinetic energy. Through other mechanisms like plastic or elastic deformation or dynamic fluid flow but cap shield doesn't seem to be an elastic metric material and it's not organic like polyurethane in the movies it actually seems to reflect vibration rather than absorb it like when thor hits with Mueller in that first avengers movie and the shockwave flattens a whole forest. Perhaps that was because the shield reached its absorption limit. Another thing that's tough to explain his how aerodynamic the shield is. If it really weighed forty three point, nine pounds, it would be difficult to throw even for a guy in peak physical condition like Steve Rogers the comics Tony Stark actually puts electromagnet under the shield to help control it in mid flight but captain America later ditched them because they upset the shields natural balance it seems like the soldier and the shield are made for each other.

It's called peacemaker and it's going to star John Cena who is in the film peacemaker and the show is going to either be a follow up or Prequel, we don't know. But we do know that that James Gunn who is directing the suicide squad wrote all the eight episodes of the upcoming series and he's going to direct some of them as well and it will be on. HBO. Max, who was also handling the Batman spinoff series about the Gotham police. Force. Okay you mentioned this could be a prequel. This could be a sequel like what we know. Well, the officials log line says it's a it is going to explore the characters origins which. Sure sounds like it's a prequel but James Gunn is being. Cagey on twitter DOT COM. So we don't really know I personally think he's just trying to save face 'cause the suicide squad doesn't come out until next year and he doesn't WanNa be like, yes. This character definitely dies in my movie you won't get to see for a few months but. I guess we'll see. What do we know about this character? He is. Some he is started as a master of weapons and also he's quote a man who believes in peace at all costs no matter how many people he has to kill and quote. So he's like I guess he's like ultraviolent Captain America. Unfamiliar with, peacemaker as a character. Is it strange that they're announcing a SPINOFF TV show before this movie comes out I mean, not really I mean they did the same thing with with the Batman thing and I, really think they're trying to build up. This world they have you know marvel has been. Raining supreme all these years and marvel has a bunch of Disney plus shows coming out and you know brothers. Let's we need to get in on this action as well.

Midnight Moment 4 - Voter ID and A Conspiracy Theory - burst 1

"Jury of Nation. Part hair and it's time for another installment of Liberty Virus via the midnight moment delivery system. that. I was night three of the Democrat National Convention Day One, hundred, sixty, fifteen days flattening curb. It allows unlucky enough to over here made me throw up in my mouth a little bit I gotta be honest with you wanted to wash the taste out with out. But. In the end, I settled for for a Nice Cup of coffee. George Carlin one said I don't have pet peeves. I have made major psychotic fucking hatreds. So in the spirit of both George Carlin and my complete total annoyance with current events, we're going to cover two topics with you. Tonight the first is a voter ID, and the second as a self developed spiracy theory that I would like your indulgence to entertain as strictly a mental exercise though in our society, there are things you. Have to show ID for buying a gun getting prescription painkillers buying alcohol buying. We'd words legal of course, a buying porn. You have to show ID at the DMV the board, an airplane to board trained drive an automobile the list goes on and on and on survivor is going to be required to do any of the above things or you know conduct adulting in any way as it always is lot why states not have a? Statute that requires valid identification busted as yourself that question for a second, you may not like the answer I mean Article One section. Four of the US Constitution states the times, places and manner of holding elections for Senators and representatives shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof. But the Congress may at any time by law make or alter such regulations except as to places of choosing senator I mean there was. An assumption clearly present in our constitution that citizens right to vote is protected under free speech under the First Amendment. But in a citizen right the but I mean article two section one clearly spells out that our founders framers specified who could and couldn't be president no person except the natural born citizen or citizen of the United States at the time of this adoption of this constitution shall be eligible to the office of the president. Neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained? The age of thirty five years have fourteen years been a residence within the United States our founders and framers carved out specifics. Do you really believe they had any intention any intention at all for non citizens to vote in our elections? Give me a break. So if they're going to push the agenda and by the way I'm speaking to leftists and liberals who seem to think that showing identification at a polling place is somehow minority voter suppression Oh really then I say, well, no, I devote no idea by guns no background checks ever for anything. No idea to buy booze or weed. Or board a plane. Is it. Any wonder that liberal states have started issuing driver's licenses to illegal immigrants? Because if somehow some way. We restore common sense in order to our republic and require a valid form of identification vote illegal immigrants will be their voters and their voting block. I'm not suggesting we give up the right to an anonymous ballot that's absolutely protected by the First Amendment I get it. No. One has stating that your driver's license number be attached to your ballot. But. If you can't get into a bar without id if you can't buy liquor without ID, why should you be able to access the polling place? I just want to point out and make it clear the blatant outright shitting hypocrisy and quite frankly left racism in the claim that somehow requiring an idea vote is minority suppression really I mean here in Colorado most liquor stores that I frequent require id for every transaction and believe me I do not look twenty one or younger bars and nightclubs in this area often use a barcode scanners. Id and I know that it's that way in some other states, somehow all of this is okay but somehow requiring an ID to vote arguably the most violent in the world voting is minority voter Suppression Racist Bull Shit. So as the assertion that minorities by the way don't have an ID or don't have the ability or somehow incapable of getting one, I mean the bring specificity again. Zona adults over the age of eighteen are required. To carry ID at all times. That's whether you're walking down the street driving your car or otherwise, and that has been in effect since World War. Two, this is not something new. This is not something that the Clintons or the bushes or anyone else do any time in recent history this has been the law of the land for literally decades. Whether that laws right or wrong as up to you. But really do we really need any more outside influence in our country regardless of what the political spectrum you stand on our guys we've got another segment coming up right after this break. Stay tuned. Midnight Patriot nations spartan here with a shameless plug for our new gear shop shop dot midnight Patriots Dot Com. T shirts, hats, hoodies, mugs, phone cases just about everything else in between we got you covered whether you're looking to embrace your insomnia, show your patriotism or make a liberal hood. Explode. Really. Shop. Dot Midnight Patriots. Dot Com for a limited time. You can save fifteen percent on your order starting now. And now back to the show. So what are the talk about now is? A conspiracy theory I fully admit it. I have no evidence of this except what may be going on around us and some thoughts that I have from the Golden Age of talk, radio in the nineties I sometimes get what I refer to as nuggets of Universal Truth from what most people would consider fairly odd sources. You know movies, songs, sports, overhearing pieces of a conversation, etc one of the things that was kind of profound to me and rain true didn't I didn't really understand the time was the movie captain America the Winter Soldier. Now there's a scene again. Tomorrow will because they're fantastic and I'm going to kind of summarize here there's a scene where they're in a bucket in they're talking to basically an all German scientists. Brain is good put on on a computer and all creepy but isn't that scene they talk about humanity's freedom came. and. One of the things that they said was if you try to take that freedom, they resist humanity needed to surrender. It's freedom willingly. And they finally created a world. So chaotic that you vanity was ready to surrender it's freedom for its own security. Now I know that sounds bizarre and maybe I'm maybe I'm just being paranoid maybe I'm suffering from the Kobe. Kobe lockdown paranoia or whatever you want to call it. The understand this if you wanted to usher in a gestapo-type National Police Force. It had no loyalty to the constitution but only the politicians you know Kinda like Nazi Germany. What would you do? Well. First of all, you'd have to get the police to quit. So if you control the purse strings for the police, department what better way to get them to quit than it, cut their wages, cut their budget and then make them liable for I. Don't know everything. What if he told them to stand down while like Portland Eighty. Three nights of rioting destroys property assaulting assaulting citizens decade the police to quit what about like new? York. They cut the budget of Major Crimes Unit and shootings have gone up. To three hundred percent. Since that happened now, I wanNA make it clear that I do not support a national police force now. Yes we can argue that yes, we have we have federal agents the DA's the ATF the FBI etc. But none of them are actively patrolling the streets but how do you do it? How do you implement a Gestapo of social justice warriors that are essentially thought police, which is what the what's the leftist seem to want anyone that that goes contrary to their narrative anyone that disagrees with any they say politically. Well if you get all the local cops to quit, you have to have something because your citizens will not bag. For protection somebody did is friendly to that idea wins the White House than the Federal Police Force. Is created and then we end up like Nazi Germany. They're already talking about making kids where buttons identified that they either have or have not been vaccinated for Covid. Nineteen. One. Just go out and do yellow stars. Pink triangles. Any sense does you have to question yourself and even do the mental exercise of what's the end game now? This Shit I. GotTa Tell Ya None of it looks good. Comics' Place in Protests

"What I want to talk about though is I want to talk. About how? FANDOM. Has. Influenced me and can't influence. All of us and how and some of the ways that it has? In support insupportable of these protests that are going on right now. And we'll actually in support and in protest of the protests. Of a funny way to do that, I've seen people sharing some. Images from comic books and from TV shows. And I just WANNA share I wanNA. Talk a little bit about how fandom. CAN SHAPE US and should shape us if you listen to our Fanta five with Jam Bell. He talks a lot about how phantom. Influenced Him and taught him how to. Fight for the little guy and help out those around us and I think now more than ever. That's an important time I've realized as I've been talking to people this week. That a lot of the way that I deal with conflict has been from the Book Enders Game I. Know It's a it's A. It's a property from a controversial creator, but that book really did shape a lot of my young adult views and thoughts on life i. What I'm, GONNA conflict with somebody. oftentimes I will look at both sides of the argument. Try to understand the people that I am arguing with and not just understand where they're coming from. But in to to a point that I can feel some empathy for them, and it's difficult. It's hard right now. My heart is hurting for so many different people for so many different reasons. But? There is right and there's wrong. One of the one of the quotes that I've seen thrown around. and see throwing around frequently whenever there's somebody who feels that there is some injustice going on something that they are being told is important. To stand up for, and it's a good quote when you look at it from that aspect but it's one of my least favorite quotes from all of comics. This is captain America from. From the comic books. In this panel he says doesn't matter what the press says doesn't matter what the politicians or the mob say doesn't matter. The whole country decides that something wrong. Is something right? This nation was founded on one principle above all else. The requirement that we stand up for what we believe. No matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you move. Your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth and tell the whole world. Know you move. It's A. It's an inspiring quote. And on its surface, it has inspired many to do the right thing and I will. I will give it that. It is also a slightly. Problematic quote. In the sense that uses in this quote. The principal above all else the requirement that we stand up for what we believe. What you believe is not always right what you believe. Is Not always. WHAT SHOULD BE? and. Planting yourself like a tree. Being immovable is. Is Not how Captain America. Has Been portrayed in so many of the media that I have that's how the punishers portrayed. Yes, it does say that you need to yourself like a tree beside the river of truth. And the problem with that. Is that. We can't agree on what truth is anymore. So I went to the arbiter of truth, wikipedia Pun intended. and. In there for under the under truth, it says. Truth is most often used to mean being accord with fact. Or Fidelity to an original or standard. Truth also sometimes defined in modern context and this is important. Is Divide as an ideal of truth to self or authenticity. You could share this quote from Captain America in an alt-right group that. Advocates genocide. And get a million likes at a thousand shares. This is something that is on its surface, strong and powerful, but when you boil it down because they neutered it by saying what you believe. It makes it. Me Nothing. So if you believe that police brutality is not an issue. Then what this is telling you is you stand next to that and you don't move. If. You believe that racism is not real. This is saying do not move. And what I'm saying is that you need to. We always need to be looking at our views and our takes on the world. And making sure that they're are the right things, and if we're wrong changing, and that does not make us a hypocrite to change our views and our and our viewpoints. It makes us

Avengers Endgame With Ann Hornaday

"Washington Post lead film critic and Hornets Talks Avengers. Endgame as it celebrates its one year anniversary the hype and the build up and all that I have to admit that I was approaching this with a little bit of like. Oh let's get it over with already enough you know. And then it really ambushed me emotion of it really. I felt like you know you're too young to remember this. There was a famous episode of the Old Mary. Tyler Moore show with chuckles the clown chuckles. The clown died and And she's the one crying hardest funeral you know. And that's how I felt like I felt like I was completely not prepared for how I would feel during the actual movie and I just think again the Russo brothers did such a good job of that really. They made it emotional and a I don't know I just feel like they hit all the right. Note the goodbyes. Were they felt real and authentic and bad and like the way you know. I don't know the whole thing just. I was really really impressed with the way they did it. I was surprised at my own reaction. I had not reviewed because I was called away for it personal reasons. I wasn't able to review or even fee infinity war when it came out the reviewer of record for that for endgame was my colleague. Michael O'Sullivan because I felt like he deserved to be able to To do this once he had done the first one But I was actually. I had my quibbles with Insanity War I didn't it? Didn't you know I had many more couples with that so I was coming in with such guarded expectations and then it just completely impressed me. I just we could kind of talk about this. But there were so many scenes that just were just so many men between characters and between the characters and figures from their own path. That just got me. They were really really beautiful. You know when marvel does So well is to balance the humor and the action and the drama. Where it they just they have it in the right lane where it doesn't sway too much either way were gets too campy or too serious. They have a successful formula. Dc should not try to replicate it. Because they're really just works for Marvel because just the way their brand was from the beginning. I totally agree and you know I guess looking back and I remember you know feeling so when Ironman came out thinking Oh thank goodness. They were not taking it so seriously. After all the you know it was right after the Nolan Batmans it wrapped up and I thought those got way too heavy and way too dark and Kinda just self serious and then here's this Brett. Literal breath of fresh air and it was Downey kind of it was sort of wrapped up with his own personal story of redemption and recessive. Like he it was you know and and so there was. It was just so good to see him again and just doing something so well in having such fun and bringing his great great talent. He's such a gifted actors such a gifted or and you know. I don't know I just felt like that movie was so symbolic on so many levels and you're right it just started it. Just set the tone perfectly you know and then they manage to kind of carve out these really specific world for these characters so those captain America movies are their own little thing. You know the store Ragnarok did a stunning job of marrying the talent and the writing and acting and it all works. You know in your right. Dc SHOULDN'T I hope they don't try to replicate it. It's it of its own zone. Look for Endgame. Wherever you get your digital or DVD content and definitely read and Hornets at Washington Post Dot Com for bite. This is Tony Tiller.

"Hi this is Jim. Shokhin coming through using of US TODAY. Let politics fly right now. You've got one idiot trying to get politics out of comic. Yeah that's ludicrous. Ridiculous and as just plain stupid we had politics and connections day one. You know we had superman right off the Bat. Go out to a domestic abuser. Just because he was hitting a woman it sound like nothing today because hey we get being yet. Apprehended beat the time. It was actually a right of the husband actually beat his wife so having that in a comic was a major point. Hillis FLASH FORWARD A couple of years two great big fist. In the face of Hitler by Captain America. You know again today. Evil Bad news. Yeah and needs to be wack back then however the. Us was heavily isolationist that is Trendy World War Two and all said a few months prior chewed super seventh the Pearl Harbor you had captain America going after Hillary and basically say hey. This is evil. We need to stop the doubt. We need to do something you've added. As time that was a major political statement in the comics less flash forward to the seventy S. actually backup a good of the sixties and Seventies. We starting to see a lot of women's liberation in common issue. You have a lot of people trying to be equal and it doesn't matter what. The races sexes whether Ginger is people all the sudden want everybody to be equal and that's cool Asia straight up. You cannot differentiate between comics politics and two of them. Just go hand in hand. Wake you out if you tried to get rid of the one of them. You're just getting rid of a major part of the story in question and you basically diluting it. Nobody wants that just straight up if you have political statements or if you basically are political person hey put that into the comic but the politics full.

"Superhero movie star Chris Evans plays a more down to earth role in defending Jacob it's a limited series on apple TV plus about a prosecutor whose son is accused of murder NPR's TV critic Eric deggans says the show which debuts today fits into a troubling trend in television there was a growing genre of TV drama in our streaming saturated times that I have given INEC the almost quality drama now these shows have big stars lofty concepts gritty premises and huge ambitions but they're not quite good enough to be the next handmaid's tale or succession if there were fewer streaming services around they might not have even gotten may which brings us to apple TV pluses defending Jacob and the character played by star Chris Evans Andrew Stephen barber can you state your occupation please as an assistant district attorney in this building for ten years was so you're no longer employed as a prosecutor for Middlesex County is that correct yes that's right any barber is sitting in some sort of proceeding answering questions from a supercilious prosecutor about the worst of it and his family's life playing Barbour Evans hides the chiseled good looks that made him such a hit as Marvel's Captain America behind a bushy brown beard and an air of defeated resignation but let's not move too fast here first consider the crime that set all this

Are We Living In A Dystopian World? Find Out NOW!

"Hello this is Stephanie. And this is talk tales and Trivia. The show where. I talk about pop culture trivia. Listen I love researching pop culture trivia so that you can stump your family and friends with Great Trivia on today's episode. I thought I would talk about the content the entertainment that we watch and read and listen to at home. That's right it could be a movie. A book or podcast. Well it is all double or triple the entertainment and content. And you'll understand what I'm talking about in a few minutes. Listen I love dystopia anything? And if you've been listening to this podcast you know it. Well to stop in is so popular right now and to stop anything is popular but did you know that it is a sub genre that is under the huge science fiction genre and it is very popular. Well think of all the movies and books that you've read and other entertainment that you've watched that is using the scare factor or the desperation factor that brings in misery or discomfort. Or just something that you are not comfortable with well. That is a distortion emotion. Right it brings in something that is just foreign to you. And that would also be a change to the human condition This is perfect for living environment of social unrest including social distancing and working remotely and we are certainly doing a lot of that so there are so many people much more than. Let's just say your ago that have taken to a distortion entertainment to still be in anything. It could be a book like. I said it could be a movie or it could be a podcast and that is all under the distortion genre. Now if we're gonNA have a dystopia genre we'll guess what we have to have the opposite and that is a utopian genre and there is that no. What is the difference? Well of course you know the difference. I'm going to give you a definition right now. Well what does dystopia mean and I will tell you right now? Dictionary Dot Com has a great definition. Here a society characterized by human misery as squalor oppression disease and overcrowding. That's right and now I will give you the definition for utopia or utopian. Well of course it means the exact opposite of distortion it. Means of relating to or just having to do with idealized perfection given too impractical or unrealistic schemes of such perfection. It's an idealized perfection. And that's something that we don't really see very often so we tend to go towards the dystopia N- types things well. This is perfect for living in an environment of social unrest including social distancing and working remotely that we have had to get used to in the recent past. But I want to tell you about a couple of movies that are wonderful and then you can also read the books. And sometimes and one of the instances you can also get a podcast is a really good thing as well. Well the first thing I want to talk about is the most dangerous game. Well what is that? Well I read the Schwartz story when I was probably very young in the nineteen seventies and it is a short story that came out in nineteen twenty four by Richard Connell and it is a wonderful short story Nelson for the nineteen thirty eight film adaptation. You can see the most interest game and it is so cool. Well the most dangerous game about hunt but this is a different kind of hunt and you will find it very interesting. Read the Short Story and see the movie and guess what it is. Just become a series on qube DOT com. Now qube is very interesting and I want to mention this because I just discovered it is shorter episodes but the same kind of story. They just cut out a little bit of the excess things that they didn't need and the short story or the movie but this is very interesting so on Qube it is an episodic short series thirteen episodes with Liam Hemsworth and they are really easy and Benge worthy. So do that next. I WanNa talk about a book that I read in Maimi junior high school and that is nineteen eighty-four. Well George Orwell wrote the book in Nineteen Forty nine and he can kind of see the future. It is a warning of what is to come. The story takes place in an imagined. Future the year well nineteen eighty-four when much of the world has fallen victim to perpetual war? Omnipresent government surveillance and propaganda. Well it is not a fun place to live and it is not a fun time to be alive in nineteen eighty. Four is a great book. You don't WanNa miss it? Read the book. See the movie and the concept of the book and the movie was used to record a super bowl ad in nineteen eighty four now on youtube and that will be in the show notes. It represents the control of technology and how it's taking over and the ad big brother is represented by IBM Somewhat and the takeaway from the ad is the world is going to change because of computers That did happen next. I love this and it is the center. Well the first season starring Jessica Biel was great but they have three seasons. And what is going on is why a murder was committed and keeps you guessing. Well it stars. Bill Pullman as well as the investigator in all three seasons I know it's not distortion but it's worth a watch. It's a mystery thriller psychological thriller psychological fiction and it is on net flicks three seasons. You don't WanNa miss it? It is Binge Worthy Watch the series and read the book now. Next is a funny kind of situation. I came across this and I wasn't planning on it. I was just had a little bit of free time and is the stranger. Well what is that about? The Stranger is a British mystery thriller series written by Danny Brocklehurst and based on the two Thousand Fifteen Harlem copen novel of the same title. Try to get that at Amazon. And you won't be able to the mini series premiered on net flex in January of twenty twenty just a couple months ago and it stars Richard Armey Taj. Who is best known for the Hobbit Oceans Eight and Captain America and it starts one of my favorites. And I know some people won't recognize the name Jennifer Saunders and she was an absolutely fabulous a British comedy so watch the series the stranger. It's so interesting. Okay now. We're going to go back into a DYSTOPIA and type of deal and this is really fun. Try to get all these friends and people to watch and not everybody gets it but I know that you will. It is called Black Mirror and there's five seasons it is a British distillery and science fiction and Black Mirror was inspired by the twilight zone. That's right dealing with controversial contemporary topics with less fear of censorship than other more realistic programs. It highlights topics related to humanity's relationship with technology and the stories that feature the way we live now and the scary and Weird Way. We might be living in the future.

Everybody says no Yuko common phrase in the English dictionary they have to offer. You have to get really solid. Should be appointed leader. You just how everyone wants to do every single cigars how how you doing. What's your. What's your view like right in this moment? So we're working from home and do you have a good little south there. Yeah I've gone inflatable. Jesus next to me Nice context or just I just I just put him in there to just keep me company so I feel like I've got some workers. Excuse this yeah. I'm still your coworker by not having been actually in my little music station where normally record at home so nice very home for me. Yeah this is. This must be familiar for you. Sat there if you just start in some freestyle staff just because you're in the zone and that's absolutely fine. I think that's go- keyboard as well. Let's go for it. How prepared as everybody knows. He's listening to this where we're in lockdown currently just heading into week four of lockdown guys. What would your one top tip be for for anybody in this situation? Either to keep them saying. Keep them entertained to keep that routine. What would your tip be if you were to give someone a tip if you were to travel back in time for weeks and say to someone that this is coming. This is my one bit for device. Fear what would that be stuck up on toilet row? You'd be that person to left so we go brave shops fine now. There's loads of them there as well. They're just make the mice of light the outdoors. What's the outdoors magical place that I guess? Your question is what their advice would be before lockdown or during OCTA down town. Yeah I think I think definitely like utilizing your one one more day because I did miss a couple. That was a time. I Wen- went out on Saturday and then didn't go out again until the following Saturday and that felt ways. That is extremely down is mine would be to start your car. You never know. It's just GonNa say it once a day but don't shouldn't you like run it for a while as well because he just started and turn off at actually die for a little bit because obviously needed to get supplies say that part is important but in terms of like an actual like like psychological spiritual thing for you to help you life. I'd say give yourself a grace is retained great for now. Of course I think is really important. Everyone tries to get routine. But if you don't not one day by the end of the world was talking to my cousin. Struggle moves like putting on weight. Meanwhile disguise like he's skinny but yeah. I think yeah a little bit more than you normally do like fine. Don't worry I like Chris. I really needed to hear that because I've been struggling to get up in the morning. I think my my two bits of advice. I one is similar to what you were just saying. But I don't know about you guys when you wake up. Naveh shower wherever you come to get dressed. The temptation to put on the jogging bottoms is strong. My advice would a always reach for the jeans or or you could go smarter and just go. Trousers like full-on save by. I think I think just getting wearing clothes that you would wear out does helps me get ready in the right frame of mind. So that's that's one kind of half joke but also have serious. I think the one that someone shared as many words use everyday call someone. You haven't spoken to in three months and so there's quite good now jumping on zoom cores in house party and that kind of thing and talking to the people that we would see every day and that's important But really this also provides us the opportunity to get back in touch with people. We haven't spoken to for a while checking them say. Hey so that might be a fan core even dropping a text or anything and so. That's been quite good because it's been my mind okay. Who who should I do? Should I take a call today? And then you kind of build up. Some momentum happened in that for over a week now and then you start up conversations with people you haven't spoken to you for a while so definitely worth worth trying that one out. That's really grow their start off. That's so they go guys. There's some advice fee listening out there in lockdown but that was just waffle. Because I know you've been waiting for the the pivotal moment in the cast. Is CATS QUESTIONS SECA? Everybody who's WHO's waiting for. This was going to say out of their misery. They're awaiting such excitement. Put them out of their excitement cat. What is today's cats questions? Well I feel like Chris missed out on one last week. It actually has come from last week's question. Technically the question that Donald Smith came about the the sources in the fridge or in the coverage so then I saw the the the popular COMBI Ketchup on May. What do you guys think about that fully behind the I o back that until the day I die so it was the question. Would I combine the two off with story number? Yeah what do you think about the Combi of catch up on the massive financially okay? We'll see this is not going to wear. That was two thousand. I thank the Combo wrong. Okay Chrissie pretend that you hate all. I'll say that I like it and that makes better listening. But now I think particularly so my if I have potato wedges than I'm a massive fan I don't necessarily mix the two sources so have catch up on one side in a catch-up area and Mayor Mayor area but over time I will kind of dip in water and dip in the other and so there is a bit of cross contamination by the I have to mix it all in now we now we get into the French. What are you playing around you? Just get it in that and a mix up percent homemade burger sous why I normally would like my first chip will be will be the one that is blessed to be the mixer and Mitch over. My first chip is usually the one where the my slavers were Say I've got a lockdown special question question if if you could only have one streaming platform from now. What would it be Youtube? Oh Art and eat meat. I didn't even think about Youtube. I was thinking was thinking more. You're paid for services. Bedtime occurs tightly. Yeah if we're talking like free as definitely Youtube paid services I think is between spotify and Net flix. Yeah nobody listen to as much music since I've been stuck in the house. So maybe I think for me. I'm between net flicks and Disney plus because on the partic- plus we're going through the marvel films in order of release guy say currently on Captain America. So I think if I lost that now the devastation equally with net flicks. I need to find out what happens to carol by skin. So three episodes four episodes of targeting with about three episodes left so yeah I think I think it would be between those two if I had to probably Disney plus just until I finish marble. Wild is big so huge. Yeah plus frozen to say what is the deal with Thai King on Comey actually of unique? Because everyone everyone has been telling me to watch it and then so we sat down and watched the trailer yesterday. And it just looks. Renders is marred. It's it's something that you couldn't possibly Ri- I'm only four episodes in but the twists and the complexity and the characters kind of characters. They're real people. Surprisingly people popping up from nowhere and then seventy just becoming major characters in this in this real life story.

"That's interesting 'cause they could have but he didn't right and he gave them like a severe asthma. Problem was well because he needs the respirator right. Also the armor is really heavy and bulky. He actually can't move nearly as well as you could when he was more human ask and it can skywalker so I had asked him about why with this person who has all freakishly advanced technology even for the Star Wars Universe. Why they wouldn't give darth vader all this cool stuff. I figured it out because Ampara palpitation didn't WANNA make darth vader too powerful too big of a threat. He wanted to always be able to control him. If not psychologically at least with some physicality as well so all of a sudden they discovered. Darth vader has a whole bunch of pretty blatant design flaws. Free ridiculous right. This is my research okay so again. That contract Beta breathing. That's a respirator. Built into the suit. His lack of movement agility that you had while also due to the weight instructor of the suit conveyed force lightning from his hands. Like the SIEFF can nope. He can't why because of their stations suit. So why does he have all these invitations during this crazy thing against because Emma? Republican didn't want him getting too powerful. Now what does this have to do with Captain America as it helps them? Remember how captain Americans see faster and process information quicker speeds and come up with a plan almost instantaneously against the hulk for an even more powerful characters. What would captain America? Come up with a plan against someone who had restricted movement breathing problems and was weighed down by like this crazy visor. He'd used distractions with his shield and elusive movements. Jill he'd smash baiters chest controls that regulators breathing once that's done Bayer we'll have to use the force and this fact. If his breathing mechanisms chess gets broken he uses the force all his force capability to keep himself alive all of a sudden. He doesn't have any more force capability to use anywhere else does he can't breathe now. This was actually demonstrated in another kind of similar. We have is called superpower beatdown. They do these hypothetical battles of Vader vs Batman. That man right away right away sees baiters got this. You know crazy thing on his chest buttons and everything suppose why is that on the inside by the way why and Republican can use it? So what does Batman do hits it right away with an explosive battering all of a sudden drop? There has no more porous powers and now he's got to fight him. More regular cybernet human vs Batman. That's about it. Someone would blatant design flaws against one of the greatest tacticians strategists in the Marvel Universe is going to have a ton of openings that they'll be able to take advantage of that. We've already kind of seen. That's my point number two. You're pretending a whole lot of things right now and I appreciate you for that because a lot of that is pure nonsense you say oh man what a weakness that he has to breathe air like ninety nine percent of the people on this show that we've ever done? Don't need to breathe air. Yes he is a living creature James. He needs oxygen to survive much like captain. America does force choke. We'll get into that just a little bit now. The point about the emperor palpitation needing to be more powerful than Darth vader. I actually agree with that. A thousand percent in doing my research. I found out that. Darth cities specifically tried to keep darth vader at eighty percent of his total power at all times because he was afraid if he got higher than eighty percents that he couldn't take him out anymore he needed to and he wanted to be the one in charge. Not Darth Vader Darth vader. To be the one working for him. Which isn't going to happen. If darth vader's more powerful now all that being said it didn't stop a defeated a beatdown and past his prime darth vader grabbing emperor palpitation and throwing him off a balcony at the end of return of the Jedi did it so at the end of the day even at his absolute lowest. He had what it took to defeat the biggest user in the universe so beat him down as much as you want to. He'll have enough left for that one last attack to get it done so it was really interesting. I would have gone with that. Except in the rise of skywalker turns out. This was all part of emperor palpitations very long term and highly unexpected plan. Where he was like. Yeah I got thrown up but there was all like to create the ongoing eighty year plan for Ray will be now. Come out to me and try me on my granddaughter. And she'll now you know what that's all about that's like it's like you get fired from like your dream job right and then you kind of kick around for eighty years until you finally find yourself doing something good again and you go. This was my plan the whole time. No it wasn't you screwed up and now you're lying about it. After racists upset. He got fired from Burger King because he felt if you put a crown on top of them. He's the Burger King a real crown and they were not as amused as I thought they should. Well no one's asking you to do it right. You can't just walk in and be like this. Is Now my restaurant. Look I'm the Burger King Take Initiative James? That's what I do fair enough. The Turning Point Mike. This is where you tell us who you think is ahead and what the other point has to do to pull out a victory. You guys have made some very valid points here. I had to just I personally feel a good defense in. Mma is actually a really good offense right so with his crushing ability. What happens if he grabs your shield and crushes it? You really don't have much of a of a defense. Here's the thing the shield. Actually the only people even be able to damage the shield. Where like soup like people can warp reality? Thanos infinity GUAC So like magneto from the X. men over yeah. He can't crush it. He can write. He can't crush it. He can like maybe stopping an air but he can't damage it. It is that powerful. There's the shield is the best thing captain. America's going forum. I say that on purpose because what I'm about to do important number three or enough. Well let me let me please just please. It's in this case. Then I I had this last round where Dorothy was winning over Captain America but after switch that up so you guys are tied first round. I had dorthe winning. Sure Second Round Captain America so this third round will kinda dictate. Who Wins the fight here? You Know Ray. It's it's almost like we somehow preplanned. This for the other thing is we. Don't I know I know? Try to put the match ups together. We've been accused of trying to fix that. We don't this is like we have great arguments. And we always seem to be tied at the turning. Point you guys as geeked level is at an all-time highest. I am learning stuff. That I never even really cared about I am. I am in like all of what you guys. Can you imagine the education now that you can bring to Shahs of sunset like I'm picturing there's GonNa be a COMECON episode? Absolutely cannot wait to get home and talk to reservoir darth vader and Captain America. Which I think he probably has some tighty whiteys with Captain America on it if I had to guess so ray visual by the way kyrie visual okay. That's the backstory. That's awesome talk with that. Being said it is point number three number three. I've been sandbagging because I'm so happy to hear that we're tied right now because about to just take this the distance and dominate Captain America. All the way to the finish line. Because I haven't even brought up really the force powers or the lightsaber because outside of the force allowing him super strength super speed super endurance on par with Captain America Basis. Some of the research. I did. He's actually slightly ahead of him on the strength and the speed. But it's close enough that I'm willing to say that's at least a push so let's talk about the things that Darth vader could do. The captain America does not have an answer for. I believe captain. America has all of his power in that shield. He's going to need to get that shield on high degree in order to get this win. What is the big thing that Darth vader does? It's telekinesis so the first time captain. America tries to throw that shield darth vader. He uses the force. Power to what? Hold it in the air and then throw it. Throw it away. Throw it away from the battlefield throwing away from where Captain America can do it. We've seen in other star wars movies where objects such as crates have been picked up and thrown with. The power of the mind of bullets have been pulled out of mid air and then frozen by Kylo Ren did it. But that's reason darth vader couldn't also pull the same feat. Let's keep it real. So that anytime he wants to he disarmed. Han Solo's blaster and Hans Solo has got a good grip on that thing. So what I would say is darth. Vader uses his powers at the force to either Yank Shield away from Captain America or stop it in mid air when Captain America goes to throw it and he just removes it from the battlefield completely with no shield now suddenly. The lightsaber means. He has no defense against it. And Captain America's GonNa get ripped up. You argue that captain. America could try to get close in punch the respirator. What have you? How is he possibly going to do that? Against somebody equally fast equally strong equally as well trained if not better in Darth vader's case but also with a lightsaber as a potential defensive weapon. If Captain America's sitting here with nothing because the shields been taken away from him and our veterans a lightsaber. I don't see how Captain America has any chance in this battle whatsoever but I'm not done there because the big other move. Darth vader's known for is the force choke. He reaches out with his hand or just sort of thinks about somebody. I believe he did that. In rogue one he didn't even necessarily use his hands for that and the guy just can't breathe anymore number one I said characters need oxygen and air to survive because they are human. It's true in the case of the respirator. It's also true in the case of Steve Rogers. So all he has to do is forced. Choke him a move to captain. America has no defense for whatsoever. The second darth vader even if he gets hit a little bit or like Captain America gets shot in on them. All our veterans to do is say. This battle is over. I'm going to force choke you. I'm going to drop you to your knees. I'm either GONNA kill you to Lightsaber or I'm just going to knock you conscious even at its bare minimum and win the WHO would win battle through an unconscious knockout of the two. The two minute rule. But let's talk about a little bit the other things that Darth vader has going because he has telepathy and pre cognition result the force. There's a moment in the comic books when Chewbacca Big Name. He's shooting a sniper rifle. He gets the clearance to take a shot. Darth vader from a distance with sniper rifle and darth. Vader does not know what's coming as the bullet has fired and shooting at him from a great distance away. Darth vader suddenly gets that kind of spider sense like Spiderman does and he goes. There's something coming. Turns and Light Sabers the bullet out of the air before it has a chance to hit him. So captain. America can't get the jump on either so the element of surprise is going to be taken out of this battle. Not just that. But he can block shots supposing Captain America pulls out a gun and tries to shoot him darth vader the force barrier that he can just put up which is protected in the comic books with a whole bunch of debris and rocks book crushing building. We're falling down. He just put up a little barrier and blocked all of them from even hurting him not to mention that uses lightsaber to knock the bullets out of the air. He's done that before with blaster shots that were fired at him by a whole bunch of different people. What is Captain America? Possibly going to do against somebody who can disarm quickly force choke him with no problem whatsoever with no defense and even if he doesn't do. This is a host of other abilities. You could beat him with even if he didn't use eight point air point B. That is my point number three or as I like to call it the knockout. Wow at some point number three. Let me see if I can counter some of this. Oh Yeah I can by the way all right here we go. First of all can use high level telekinesis against two major things at once. Two major things at once. I'll be honest I think he can. I think we've seen in these star wars battle in return of the Jedi..

"Are seeing more of change. I think in response to books like Hell Boyer Black Hammer. Where because there is a firm time line and things are happening characters have to react to the things that are happening even if they don't have full context for what's happening so that's what you like about hell boy be. Pr General. Think helpful like you said Houston's Gone Yeah Houston's gone what are you GonNa do hell boy died? What are we going to do? And that's another thing stopped me please. If I'm going off the rails in the world of hell boy. Bpd WHAT HAVE YOU? Death is final unless it isn't and what I mean by that is when like okay but speculate for just a second over. I'm going to spoil recent events in Batman that's okay. I'll put spoiler at the beginning. The Alfred was killed by Bain in Batman a couple months ago Alfred. Dying is a huge deal. It's a very good story. I'll be really hard pressed to say in five years. We're not going to have comics with Alfred. M I think we'll see Alfred Comeback in the hell boy world if there was a a character analogous to Alfred. If he died he'd be dead. There's only been three characters I can think of who haven't stayed dead One of them is Huma Hunky list which is hard work as say I can read it forever. A monkey lists named Roger. Who's liveability is questionable? At best the other two and I could be wrong as well like I'm not concrete giving you information but This based off the best of my recollection the the other two characters would be Rasputin. Who is the main villain and Hell boy himself and when hell boy is brought back it's not his choice. There was There was a thing that I want to say. Scott Allie who was an editor and a writer on BP said is If he said death is final and things will break and if things are repaired they will still remain broken. So if you like break glass table you can put that glass table back together. It's not going to be as strong as it was. And that's kind of a tenant and B P R D if we're gonNA break it we can put it back together but it's not gonna be the same as a storyteller in a fan of of character the way hell boy and it's related books handle stakes is so it's so unlike anything else you're gonNA find in modern pop culture and he loves. Mike loves the supernatural world. Because I hadn't read hell boy before but I read Joe Gholam which is one of my aches works and it has a very supernatural tinder taste to it for lack of a better word but he really loves that supernatural world when I was reading up about how he came up with hell boy and the Supernatural. In general he started. Reading Brahms stroker's Dracula and just got sucked into the all. The supernatural world and missed. Go along with that and even see that. In Gotham by gaslight. Yeah I think that's where he got a lot of this inspiration because like you said. Eprdf just kind of a supernatural monster story arc on each in how he tries to solve this mystery so to speak. But I really like those like you said the BP because they're short. In general. At least the ones I read are fairly short. They're kind of wins a call because they take place in the past share. Well it's it's interesting because Mike men ULA has trusted so many people with his world. Geoff Johns has written for PR. D- we've got Chris. Roberson does a lot of stuff Scott. Allie Gabriel Bah and Fabio Moon. Who ARE TWINS? They've done some work on a book called. B P R D vampire. Let's just phenomenal. It's so good Abe Sapien had his own series for awhile and there were another set of twins that were working on the art in that and their names escape me off hand but pitch perfect. They're wonderful the those twin they're now working on Lucifer for DC like the the Black Label Sandman books but It's just so good There's a horror comic called Herro county that's written by. Cullen Bunn the art and that is done by Tyler Crook and there was a tiny little bit of animosity because Tyler Crook was the second main artists on E. P. R. D. And when he went over to do Harrow County kind of left He left the crew in a bit of a bind and everybody was a little upset but also he's doing the work of his career on. Harrow. County That's how we got Lawrence Campbell as the main artist on be prd through throughout the run of like hell boy traditionally the art in that is either Mike Minneola or Mike. Minneola esque yes. There's a there's a very good so pretty still pretty rough so to speak but it I think it fits in his universe. Yeah it absolutely does. If we're not getting Mike Manolo. We're getting somebody like Dunkin for Griego who has a very manolas style over. Mvp what we got was a completely different visual. Take and we had guy. Davis was the main artist for play frogs. Hell on earth. We saw Tyler Crook and then going into the devil you know we had Lawrence Campbell. And they bright. They brought a very interesting like real world. Visual take on what Mike Minneola drew as more than esoteric stylized monster world and just like injected it with like this fierce ground level realistic take in it so to to see how Lake Dunkin for draws Abe sapien versus how Mike Minneola draws EP and versus. How Tyler Crook Draws Abe sapien versus? It's so it should not narrative Lee speaking work. It shouldn't do it Michael did a whole issue of of that. We have a painted issues that are done by just masters of their art. And it's it's so wonderful and and just the fact that you can have these visual styles who divorced from divorce from the words divorce from the writing you would never know that just because this character looks a little more cheesy in. This character. Looks a little more realistic. There is no. There's no what if in the hell boy universe whenever you read a story As far as the comics the short stories are a little different. There's pros and all that but we're talking about the comics there's not Lak- what if Abe Sapien was fighting in World War. Two like it's there's none of that every everything you read actually happens To those characters in the world of hell boy and having such unique creative voices all working in tandem to tell this one epic it should not by any right work and if it does work it should not work nearly as well as this does and it is so much fun it does. It's a fun a fun book. Speaking of you talked about Abe Sapien. What is your favorite character from hell boy? Do you bomb or is it a cop out answer cop out answer and then maybe might cop out. Answer is Every every major comic book company I believe has a trinity of some kind so. Dc Has Batman. Wonder Woman Superman Marvel's got Captain America. Thor and iron man You could argue. That image has spawned in which blade and someone else that I can't think of offhand For Hell boy it's definitely you've got an expansive universe of characters but it comes down to Abe Liz in hell boy and if I get one of those three I'm going to have a good time and be in for completely different reasons there so three very different characters In the in the Gemmell del Toro movies. They had a romance between. Liz and hell boy does not exist in the comics. That's not a thing If anything Liz and Abe kind of have an unspoken thing that nobody ever acts on and that's kind of cool because you've got fire and water and that's like a neat neat thing like that. Yeah it's really fun. But if you were like gun to my head me pick a character man. It's GonNa be a tie between it's GonNa be a tie between Captain Daimyo from be PRD. Who is in the newest? Hell boy movie. He's the the wear Jaguar. I love him or Johann Johann Krauss whose an echo plasma ghost in a in a sealed suit don't make can't choose between those two a close honorable mention would be roger but I can live without roger it's fine but But no I love and that goes to the military guy in me I love. Diageo is a traditional military guy and he is just he's hired basically to militarize the PRD and get them to work as a cohesive unit and he just comes in and he's like all right. Look I'm done I'm done like I cannot handle. Whatever it is you guys are doing. I need you all. Just cut your drama. And let's do this. And he just has no time for any of the. He's he's not ignorant to the fact that he's working with monsters he's he gets to the point where he's like. I don't care that you're monsters. We have work to do. And I absolutely love that. And then Johann who was voiced by Seth McFarland and the second held boy movie the The Golden Army In the comics he is so flawed that he is. He's the most fun to read. Because you you just like him you just like him and he makes some really dumb stupid mistakes but they're mistakes that you could see yourself making and you see some emphasis me speaking of myself when I say you but I see so much of myself in him that when he makes a mistake. I'm like own own. No real world content is one hundred percent what I would do and we would all be in so much trouble So I absolutely adore the dichotomy of those two and they don't get a wall but No it's my it's A. It's a complete cop-out I answered it twice with no actual answer. That's okay. I like the fact that like you said it is kind of whimsical. Boys Got A. Would you say it dry sense of humor? I would say Ri- I think is is not so much dry it's like. He knows he knows what he's just so he's just kind of he's perpetually forty and he could you imagine being being against. I'm in my late thirties. Man If you just I would be unstoppable if I had energy and I see hell boy as just perpetually old enough to know better young enough to not care and he kind of can get away with

"Did you. I read hell boy win did I I. I've I read hell boy when I was. I really getting into non Superhero comics when I was in the military and it was around the first time. I want to say it was around the time. The first Guillermo del Toro movie came out. Two Thousand Four. I believe Man I'm old and it's very interesting too because hell boy. I came out in nineteen ninety four. Yes and so thinking thinking of. It's ten years and that was an accomplishment And now here we are twenty twenty two having a relevant conversation about L. Boy. That's back issues to get in. Because he's ninety two thousand four win. The movie came out. They had They had reprinted all of the trades in the traditional red format that you've seen on elbow trades red banner. Banner across the boy. Yeah and there was a bunch of stickers like hell boy now in theaters or something like that but I picked up the first volume of that and I was like well. I'll check it out and it didn't resonate with me at all. I didn't like it. I didn't like the art I didn't and at the time to I was at a point where I was defining like. I'm not going to go off on a tangent about belief systems or whatever but I was I was kind of going on On my own kind of personal spiritual journey and I didn't like the idea of taking a demon and putting it in a spotlight and I had a real issue with a boy from and it just kind of bothered me and also I was a child in able to discern. I I was I was an adult. You know what I mean I I was. I was still trying to define what my moral compass is in relationship to the entertainment that I took in And just at the time hell boy was not right for me just to clarify you saw the movie. And then he picked up the comic books. Okay Yep actually I think I think I bought the comic in anticipation of the movie but it was because the movie was coming out that I was GONNA go see us out so you weren't really impressed that much. I didn't land with me. It wasn't at the time I was into more of a more of a clean style And Mike Manila's art is is arguably anything but like clean lines in that was just just my preference at the time like I was really into the Geoff. Johns Teen Titans Which had a much much more traditional line work and again. This was at a time where I'm venturing out of superheroes for the first time And it was it was kind of interesting so hell boy has been a thing that I was aware of but I'd always associated the comics as being not nearly as good as the movies It doesn't help that Gamble del. Toro's one of my favorite directors of all time but let's fast forward a little bit. I picked up. B P R D play frogs and that is basically like a four volume omnibus said like it was the the hell boy at one point breaks off from the B. Prd that'd be prd becomes. Its own thing and be. Prd's interrupt his bureau for Paranormal Research. And Defense yes those for those of you. That may not know. Now I'll get into it but I read. Bp plague of frogs volume one. Because it didn't have specifically I was like well. I didn't wasn't interested in hell boy but I was kind of interested in in the fish guy kind of interested in Liz. Who's the fire starter? And I was kind of intrigued. What does that mean when Hell Boys not around? What is that book? And that I fell in love with Hell Boy. The hell boy world through eprdf bpd was written for me And there was a time right towards the tail end of plague of frogs where I hadn't read any hell boy comics but not hell boy specifically but I but I I've been eating up. Bp already so much At that point to the hell boy trades and this is still true to an extent are in and out of print so sporadically that. It's difficult to get everything so. Bp or something. I was pretty familiar with going into last year. Twenty nine hundred twenty eighteen man. I'm so old time. Time is all time impressive so when the new movie came out eighteen nineteen asa last year's leading into last year so the tail and a twenty eighteen darkhorse started releasing the hell boy omnibus editions. And what those are four soft cover books that encompass hell boy from his first issue in the seat of destruction all the way through the The hell boy in hell macro series and then they also released a couple short story collections. And a few other things here and there and they also released Be Prd the devil you know which kinetically ends the story that began in Nineteen Ninety Four. So it was. It was a very big year for hell boy in two thousand nineteen and it was the first time that for fan like me. I was able to actually sit down and read it. And and with the context of of being a discerning adult you know in my in my mid to late thirties versus versus. You know more or less. An intellectual young adult in my early to mid twenties approaching the material was completely different. Avs Very very very very interesting I still maintain for me personally be. Prd is the superior book but in IT IS THE HELL. Boy Universe in Hell. Boy is the crux of it And so I do. Identify myself as a hell boy fan. Do you went from two thousand four. But basically didn't get into hell boy until twenty eighteen. Oh Boy Himself the proper what about be. Prd Though captured your attention that maybe the hell boy that you picked up into two thousand four. That didn't so I've thought about this a lot and my elevator pitch for the B. PRD is For people who come into the store and are like Oh why should why should I read this book? B P R d from me is the X. Files if they were investigated by monsters. It's really fun. It's just bizarre cases. And instead of having mouldering scully who were you know very human characters? One's one's a rational skeptic and the other isn't in this instead this time we have. There's a wear Jaguar. There's a fish guy. There's a fire starter. There's a humongous Monkey lous excuse me As well as a few a few other regular like every day soldiers thrown into the mix as well and it's very relatable versus for me. Hell boy that the thing that the thing that separates me from hell boy is. I'm not a demon from hell regardless of what my mother will tell you and I wasn't around for World War Two didn't fight Nazis. I didn't I didn't have like I don't have that worldview but what I do have is a knowledge for me specifically. I know this isn't going to be true for everybody but I. I know what it's like to live on a military base. I know what it's like to have that structure. There was a point of view. I had from that and the inner struggles like how everybody in the unit relies on each other. But also sometimes you just can't stand each other and also there's work to do not to mention the the drama in the book is fantastic. Unlike most comics like you go pick up a marvel comic right if you go in and pick up the newest issue of Captain America. Captain America is that time kind of flows so every time you read Captain America. He was thought out. I want to say about ten to fifteen years ago. Regardless O- doesn't matter if you read if you read captain America in the sixties. He was thought out. You know he was thought out in the sixties there but because it was you know. He was in the ice for twenty years but as the decades go on instead of being in the ice for twenty years using the answer. Thirty Years Forty Years Fifty Years. Whatever and we don't directly talk about how. Captain America was thought out in the sixties. Because he wasn't anymore and boy and you know when I say in hell boy the Hello Universe to include. Cpr D to include Crimson Lotus. All that stuff dates are sat and they're generally set the year that the book comes out so seed of destruction number one came out. It was nineteen ninety four and so that event actually introduced us to the concept of these frog monsters and it was supposed to be just a one time thing in the year two thousand. I WANNA say two thousand two thousand one the first issue of be. Prd came out and so from there. That's that's what started. What's now called the plague of frogs storyline and that brought back the frog people who were introduced in Nineteen ninety-four in Nineteen ninety-four. We have hell boy Liz. And Abe in two thousand those characters of aged and so we go into twenty twenty. Now I guess if we look at twenty nine thousand nine I believe was the tail end of the devil you know from. Eprdf was wrapping up everything. But Liz in that is a middle aged woman. She's not she's you know she's a bit more mature she's a bit older and the artwork represents that in the way she's experienced her life has has represented that as well and so one of the things that I think is really cool and I forgot where my point was but one of the things I like about the elbow universe. Is that the elevator. Pitch for the elevator stopped a long time ago. But it's there's a very real sense of time and there's a word I'm looking for. The stakes are real. There's there's a there's A. There's a very real sense. That time is a factor Life is precious and and things have to be accomplished or the world's going to

"Let's let me just go to the. Number four. Because again, I love Cav American. He is awesome. But let's talk. No prep time battles. Counter. And that's that's kind of where Batman again kind of distinguish themselves. So you know, who has Batman beaten in similar who would win battles? I'm talking with zero prep time and the closest example of Batman taking on someone similar to capture America was your prep time, and winning that battle would be that time when you know, Batman took on captain America was your prep time and beat him in a fight that happened pack in nineteen Ninety-six. There's a huge marvel in DC crossover event series period and in that series superman took on the hulk. One woman took on storm from the X men wolverine took on logo and Batman took on and beat captain America. And always valves were exactly who would win fight. No prep time. You know, whoever's see who could walk safely could beat the other person. Now for some reason, the Batman and captain America fight took place in a sewer, and it was going back and forth. When all of a sudden the sewer gets plotted. Now, captain America gets caught in it. Whereas Batman gets out of the way captured America's about to drown. And Batman goes into this. You know for the save. It's a really weird battle a weird win. But it was very clear that that man was the Victor. Let's take the step further who else is Batman beaten was euro pret- time. Well, there's even better example that in in Batman, confidential number fifty three I think it was two thousand eleven Batman took on the flash aquaman. Green lantern wonder woman and John Jones the Martian manhunter reference earlier all at the same time in an early adventure his career before he joined the Justice league. Now in that fight. He had to get something from the Justice league headquarters, which was in this mountain. I think in Rhode Island of all places, and he has a sneak into the Justice league headquarters. So he does that and all of a sudden he's confronted by the Justice league. But not superman, right? Just the rest of the Justice league. So in that he took out wonder woman, the flash green lantern and aquaman before talking everything out with the Martian manhunter. So he's beaten everyone's ass and March monitors like, hey, let's discuss what you want. That means like cool. I got it. And then he disappears in front of truth. Insurance on disappears from the March manhunter and keep in mind any one of those four alone could defeat cabs America. However, Batman took them all on at once and one using combination of his martial arts and you'll patented that gadgetry and as insane as Batman taking on the Justice league without superman with zero prep time. There's an even better example of Batman taking on an opponent that capture America would be very familiar with. And also some caps America wouldn't have to chance of beating on his own. And I'm talking about the hulk. So in the fall of nineteen Eighty-one. There was another marvel DC crossover event were Batman and the hulk eventually team up to take on the joker and the character name the shaper worlds. So long story short before the team up Batman Watson on the hoping convinced that he and the choker should be friends. Do the fact that the both have green hair. That's exactly how this is written, by the way, so base. That fact joker convinces the hope to fight Batman because you know, that someone who wants to hurt his friend the joker. So what happens during that? Is that the hoax starts to rampage damn and tries hitting the hulk in the body and all over and just like J Sandline punching me there's no effect whatsoever. And then the hull surprises Batman and put them in a bear hug or Batman feels as spines about the snap. But if he stays minute longer bought his years, which means he punches both of his ears the same time causes discomfort. Hope let's go. Okay. So health does a car. Batman, Batman dives through both the windows safely, and then tries a single take down on the hulk for some reason, the whole swats Sma way. And this point the hulk has Batman corn batmans? Like, I am big trouble here at better do something..

"Sorry, crystal. You've heard me in the last three points. I've talked about many ingredients that it takes to make one captain America. So let's talk about how this fight might really go. There is one example that James never mentioned and one notable Batman villain that we've not mentioned so far. But I think the fight between Batman versus captain America would be a lot like this one when Batman met up with the villain called K G beast, and they met in a book ten nights of the beast. Batman, four seventeen March of nineteen eighty eight and the KGB's was like the eighties favorite villain. You know, the Russians back before they were just internet. Trolls this guy rolls up in Gotham. He has a chance encounter fight with Batman in the early issues of the book, and he wins art cagey. Beast beats Batman Batman has to use that stealth to get away. Now, why is this relevant because KGB st- is basically what captain America would be. If captain America were an evil Russian cyborg because he's got the high level peak strength. He's a super soldier serious military hand to hand. And by the end of that book Batman never could beat them. He finally had to lure him somewhere and use the environment to trap in cats in America on the other hand. Now, he has faced well, I have to give an example recently. And this may be controversial. Everybody's got opinions on this story line. I've got my own, but let's not get into 'em. Let's talk about Marvel's secret war. I'm sorry. Secret empire twenty seventeen. It was a major events. This was win hydra..

"Now, we know that Batman has cool gear. And all his gear is branded we got batterings batmobiles bat, copters, bat breath, mints, whatever and Batman has got cool stuff. But frankly, I don't think any of his gear. It's just nothing that captain America hasn't seen an handled at some point in the last seventy years. Black widow has very similar gear in her standard armaments better. It you might argue in her standard gear and Batman has I'm sorry, catching America's handled her just fine for decades. Now Batman has no prep time. So he just can't conveniently have an anti super soldier serum ready to go. But captain America has an convenient anti Batman tool, and you know, what I'm talking about. It's the shield. Okay. Now, hang McCoy beast from the X men once said that captain America can mass. Stir any weapons in seconds. But he's had decades to master this shield, and he's so good at it that he's made some people believe that the shield like Molnar is sentient his skill with it. It's been described as a matter of instinct at this point he can hit any target. He wants even targets. He's not looking at. So the whole disappearing thing may not matter and the boomerang effect allows him to strike one or many targets and it comes back to him every time. He's so accurate. He can throw it to where he can strike a match and not break the match and because the shield is made.

"That captain America can see a fighting style once and master it and the DC equivalent to cachet would probably be karate kid in the legion of super heroes. He's a master of every martial art style for DC and Batman can't defeat. Karate kid. Batman isn't even the best martial artist in DC, much, less all the universes. He's usually somewhere on the top ten list. But he's even had trouble with bronze. Tiger bronze tiger. You know, you're in trouble. When you're having a hard time with the guy literally named after the third place medals. Caps. Also beaten ninja. He's beaten not lots of the hand. He is sparred and fought evenly with Shanxi. He's really beaten daredevil he took out daredevil and just two hits. I mean, we've talked about daredevil we talked about how powerfully is captain America beat him in two hits that's one less season than it took Netflix to cancel the show. But I think to end this point the biggest comparison that you could probably use for a chance encounter is that both of these guys have fought a gauntlet of their foes like one after the other batmans was in nightfall where he had to fight all his villains released from Arkham in one crazy wet hot American summer. And at the end of that Batman got his back broken. And they gave us broke back Batman, that's how that ended. But then there's the story called the. Gauntlet and captain America goes through all of his villains. But it was harder. Number one. He didn't get to spend months facing them. He had to face like a ladder of villains in a ring. No rest until he faced the last one which was batch rock the leaper and not only did he win without having his back broken. He also kept his identity secret, he disguised himself as crossbones for that fight, which means that he won the gauntlet without the shield. So crystal to finish this point could Batman have gotten through his gauntlets without his standard equipments. No. Of course, not. Counter..

"But win or lose. We have to agree that this is going to be a tough fight for Batman. He's gotta take on captain America who I would describe as his most dangerous opponent ever. But it's even worse because Batman is getting no prep time and a chance encounter, and the ideas that he doesn't really know who kept in America is or who is dealing with. So that's the rules of who would win battle. You can't plan ahead for your opponents. And that's no problem for captain America. But it's a huge issue for Batman James already admitted that cap has the advantage physically so batmans going to rely on his gadgets and wits. But in a lot of Batman stories, he often loses round one of a fight or he retreats, and then he returns with like the anti villain repellents of the week that he used are in at Wayne tech to develop. So he could win. He's not going to get to do that in this fight. And captain America doesn't need to. Plan ahead. He's a battlefield tactician. He plans as he goes. I mean, he can plan ahead, but he's used to planning in the heat of battle. And he's used to thinking on his feet. He's used to using his peerless. Martial arts style. It's cannon in the marvel universe. That caps in America is the best hand to hand fighter James mentioned some of batmans accolades, and they're nice. But let's talk about captain, America's and keep in mind that this is with zero prep time or without warning who would win cats in America. He is beaten superhumans that is included vampires like the vampire, Lord, baron blood. He has beaten Spiderman onto occasions one of which was in civil war comics when Spiderman was wearing the iron spider armor that Tony start designed him. And he's beaten other superhumans like members of the X men gambit is a good example. Because gambit throws a lot of explosives. He definitely has more explosives than Batman because gambit can make anything explosive and he charged up caps. Armor, blew up the armor and captain America called it acute trick. And went onto fight him. Mostly naked in his ball, hugger underwear. He's he did it happened. He's also tangled with wolverine many times and wolverine is a mutant stronger than peak human probably with his adamancy him skeleton in bones. He's got over one hundred pounds on captain America. They've never gone past a draw. And I don't believe Batman could beat wolverine. Same for deadpool cats in America in the despicable dead pool. Actually brought deadpool in when he didn't want to be brought in. So I mean, how many people can do that to pool, but a character that you probably don't know about is a guy by the name of cachet. He is the only character in marvel who is only. Trait is that he's mastered every known fighting style, and captain America beat them because it's cannon.

"Giving him endurance far in excess of ordinary human being. Things. So to finish off this first point crystal in other words, captain America can last longer than Batman on by Agra understood that rebels, and if Batman is fighting caps in America, we know it's just not going to be as best day. And that is my point number one. Counter. Wow. I. You know? Yeah. Just please continue James. You should call this point nineteen forties underwear balls in via. That's all. I got from your first point is just like, why are you referencing these things? Now, I don't actually just anything j just said about captain America. But I have a question for them. What is the percentage difference physically mentally speed at cetera between Batman and caps? America. We've I remember I remember I asked you this before you gave me two different answers. So I'm gonna ask you one more time what's presentative between. Well, I mean, I think we agreed on ten percent. Well, we actually said less, but I'll I'll go a ten percent. So I'm going to say, okay. Cool. Ten percent ten percent better than Batman. That's pretty damn good. Oh, no doubt. No doubt. Luckily has gadgets and other things until he belts in everything. All of the suit to help them be way better than just ten percent better than captain America's fair enough. All right. So my point number one is titled manipulation cheating in super. So one of the big differences between captain America. And Batman is that captain America's a really good person. I mean, he's the good guys. Good guy. Batman. I apologize advanced or younger listeners. Batman is an asshole. That's who he is. And that's kind of why he's going to win. Now. Captain, America's noble. He always tries to do the right thing as strong mindset, the Nielsen to keep fighting, especially when the odds are against him. He's really the ultimate hero. I'm not taking any that away from that, man. However is best described as having severe OCD. He's got excessive thoughts. Obsessions that lead to repetitive behaviors otherwise known as compulsions he doesn't fight crime. Because it's just the right thing to do a captain America. Does it's also because he's so freakishly obsessed with fighting criminals that he's compelled to do everything can't win thinking about Seve. Rogers was given the enhanced body and mind through superheroes. That helped him to learn how to fight as well as become a tactical genius. He developed his fighting billion his mind. Sure. But that was after he was given. That super steroid boost. However, Batman became a physical specimen specimen and busted his ass to develop his genius IQ and photographic memory. What fueled batmans obsession with crime? Find to the point where he spent the majority of his life developing a genius level. I think it's one sixty two fiscal perfection and becoming the world grades detective never mind having a mastery of one hundred twenty seven different martial arts. What makes someone do that? It was his super CD, and that's the difference between tabs American Batman his cabinet marika's desire to win versus batmans obsession to win and one that we know about that, man. He is obsessed more than.
