"Lack. But just as they reached the door actually happy. Can you come back please. Moon watched in wonder as the larger of the two monkeys spun around and went running back to stars. Let anti cheerful. You come back to please roulette out a gasp as the smaller of the two monkeys followed suit. Good job you to. You're such good little monkeys star padded the monkeys heads and they began to jump up and down then they reached up their three little arms and gave each other. A big high five moon felt a shiver run down her spine. Wait a minute. That's exactly what happy and cheerful do they high five over everything and these monkeys answer by my boys names. How could that be. I don't know sister. It was a total freak accident but strange things happen. I guess like say that sparkling golden pitcher that turned into ashes just like that moons. Heart tumbled in her chest. She had told her sister. That ridiculous lie about the golden pitcher turning into ashes. And now look what happened. Her sons had turned into monkeys. Moon fell to her knees. She began to tremble like a tiny leaf and a winter wind. Just then the door of the cabin burst open and who should come skipping inside their baskets overflowing with wild pears and plums but happy and cheerful the real happy and cheerful. We the best some ever. We got monkeys and we taught them to do everything we do like this..

"But one afternoon as star was digging. She felt her shovel strikes. Something hard did you hear that. I sure did star. Keep digging and see what it is. So starr plunged her shoveled into the ground over and over until last. She found a pitcher but not just any pitcher. This pitcher looked like it was made of gold. The sisters stared in wonder as the unearthed. A vessels shimmered and sparkled in the summer sun. Can you believe it moon. This must be a long lost family. Heirloom i think we should clean off this beautiful golden pitcher and share it. You can take care of at one week. And i'll take care of it. The next moon felt her heart drop. She should have known star would suggest something like that. After all ever since star and moon were kids star was always thinking of others always waking up early to help her. Parents pull up radishes. Always staying up late to tudor classmates who are struggling with schoolwork so of course star would want to share a golden pitcher but moon wanted to keep this glittering treasure all to herself so the conniving sister began to concoct a scheme. You know what star you're right. We should share this pitcher if it truly is a family heirloom sharing. It would be the proper and honorable thing to do. Star was taken aback after all ever since she and moon were kids. Moon was always thinking of herself. Always borrowing stars favourite sweaters without asking always lounging in bed instead of helping mother and father in the fields. If moon had found that picture it would have been finders keepers. And that would be that. Well i'm glad to hear you agree with me moon. So how about you take the picture this week and i'll take it next week and so on that will be wonderful star. I'll bring the pitcher back to my house and after one week you can come pick it up. Then it'll be your turn to enjoy this glorious family heirloom now. The truth is moon had no intention of letting star enjoy the pitcher at all but star didn't know that so she agreed to the deal and when the work day was through star headed back to her cabin in the mountains and moon headed back to her house in town with the golden pitcher cradled in her arms moon spent all week admiring her treasure and wants the seven days. We're up. She jumped into action. After happy and cheerful left for school in the morning moon grabbed the golden pitcher and made a beeline for the closet. She reached way way up and stashed the pitcher on the tallest shelf then. She raced to the fireplace knelt down and pulled out a handful of ashes. She sprinkled the ashes into a small wooden box with just minutes to spare before star. Arrived moon chopped up a strong smelling onion and took a nice big with so that her eyes fill with tears soon after there was a knock at the door. Hello it's me. I'm here at the sound of her sister's voice. Moon grabbed the wooden box of ashes than slumped down on the floor. She pasted a big frown on her face star. Come on in good morning moon. O- jere you look terrible. That's because i am terrible. Star just terrible. Moon heaved a great sigh. I'm so sorry to tell you this sister but our plan has been absolutely an utterly ruined star. Cocked her head. What are you talking about. You know the golden pitcher. We found in the field. Yes the one we were gonna share. Of course that's why. I'm here to pick it up while dear sister. I was holding the pitcher in my hands moving away. So i could do a little cleaning when all of a sudden i tripped. This house is so small and cramped and happy and cheerful toys. Were scattered every which way so. I stumbled over a pile of baux in as i tumble to the floor. The pitcher went flying out of my hands and straight into the fireplace. Oh no oh. Yes but it gets worse sister. The moment the pitcher landed in the fireplace. It began to spark in smolder and immediately turned. She held up the wooden box to ashes just like that. Star blinked. Her is wait. I don't understand how could turn into ashes. I don't know sister. It was the total freak accident but strange things happen. I guess can you believe it. The truth is star. Couldn't believe it. not one word. Obviously moon was scheming to keep the golden pitcher all to herself but not a star could help it. The wheels in her brain began to spin as she concocted a scheme of her own one. That would teach her sneaky sister a very important lesson What do you think star is plotting. "In Mexico. But if not guess bugging what we are still getting married in our house. I feel so full after having a conversation with Ron, Morgan? Because there's such a testament to the love and light that can prevail even during a dark time and I'm excited for them and their love story and the journey that it's on One thing I really wanted to discuss with them that we didn't get to because there was such a great conversation going is a foundation that they have called beautiful and. It's a nonprofit organization designed to provide hope and love towards making cancer survivors feel beautiful and If you guys want to check that out, go to beautiful foundation DOT COM and it truly is a wonderful organization and we just WanNa give them a shout out because it's a love story and we can always continue to share and spread the love and we'll have that website in our show notes for anyone that. Wants to just click a link and keep it easy. It was so wonderful just to hear I always forget. How lovely it is to revisit the like those special moments when you meet someone but then. It's like the moment when the other person says I love you for the first time or when US when you've decided that you're gonNA commit to each other for the first time or proposal stories, and especially in a year like twenty twenty when everything is just Nothing's concrete feels like foundations are just cracked an earthquake and it's really hard to hold onto your roots and feel centered in yourself. Let alone just in all relationships and move talked about friendships on this podcast to where it's just trying to you know have a conversation with a friend. These days feels like an awkward dance and so it was just so lovely to hear about their the shoebox and just you know and those moments that I feel are so easy to forget in in times like these, and that are really necessary to remember just to put a smile on your face and I'm so grateful for their vulnerability in wanting to share that with us. I agree with you. Completely I truly have had a giant smile on my face. The whole time we've had a conversation with them on this topic and we hope you guys have had the same reaction and you. Build filled up from this love story just like we do when was the first time you heard about the word soul love from Riana and Morgan 'cause I remember seeing you and tanner at their engagement party and they have this beautiful neon sign that said Solo and now hearing the story behind it is so beautiful but I love that they also share this term with their friends and like share this part of their story with their friends right I think so much about Morgan is them sharing their story because it's not conventional it is something that. Even, they still to this day are coming to terms with and trying to understand but to have a specific word that defines and reminds them who they are and what their love is I think is so beautiful and that's something I'm so glad that they shared with us today and took us on the journey of their love and we want to continue this journey of love but let's be honest and twenty twenty I think we've realized from this episode can be a little bit stressful especially if your journey of love includes a wedding in twenty twenty. So, we're actually kind of making this a two parter and wedding series per se. Next week we're going to sit down with Valerie Gern Hauser. She actually plans my wedding when Joe and I got married in. New Orleans she is a fantastic wedding planner. New Orleans is one of the top wedding destinations. So she has seen her fair share of weddings champagnes pop in and chaos. In her day. She's going to answer all of our questions about what to do if you had a wedding planned in two thousand twenty how to reschedule that wedding how to deal with vendors, how to deal with your guest what to do? If you are against attending a wedding and you're feeling uncomfortable, what does it mean to go to a zoom wedding in twenty twenty? She's got all the answers to your questions. We had a lot of wonderful questions submitted to us on our instagram page and Valerie is going to answer all of them for us next week on an all new episode of directionally challenged..

"Step? One Alcohol? I don't. Really. Break down all the walls and. Out like. Like you know and yeah, it was a drunken moment for the first time we ever made out and it was really awesome. But then we like laughed about it the next day of it then it was kind of Nice. So then it was like, let's just continue to do what we're doing and then. I'll go again. ooh, drunken moment again. Okay. This is my I don't know it's like. I get the bigger question is like when we actually can Gobert you know what I mean I know that doesn't sound good but I don't really know what I don't know. But I will say to living with your best friends like. It went so down like we were trying to hide our love for each other and like you can't hide from your best friend like especially the living together. Like. So stupid. So like Tyler and Jenny, I feel like we're just kind of like. Unfortunately tiptoeing around us for a bit and then finally we like got the guts to like talk to them about it and they were like, we know we love you. It's okay. We're like you know like like so happy run. Yeah and all of our friends like every single friend. Got It like. I think he got to the point where you could just see us together and. You didn't even like you know when we told people they were like Oh yeah. I get and I remember the first person I told Nikki, my business partner and. And I said I. Like Morgan more than a front like that's like I don't even have the words to explain you know what I mean I think I like Morgan more than a friend. And Nikki was like I totally get it I. Love that girl she. So awesome when you guys are around each other, it's just like pure happiness I totally understand I understand why you feel that way. So obviously having your best friends approvals is like Oh huge weight off your shoulders. Forfeiture, and then of course, talking to Jenny and Tyler are roommates. Huge weight off the shoulders. You have this feeling of like, okay. I'm going to admit this to my friends, but did you have a struggle inside where you had to admit it to yourself? Oh, good question share. Yeah you know what I think I think the biggest struggle. is that there wasn't. A word. That we could use. That went to explain. So like the auction are. Straight. Bisexual Lesbian you know go so on q i. Don Star Wars. that. was like like I'm not attracted to other girls and and technically I'm not not attracted just enough all but I, am in love with her you know like this love team not physically at all the love was purely in our heart and our soul that. It took us. A long time because because how do you explain that to people who is not normal and there's nobody else out there like that that I know of that can be like, oh, we're like so and so it was very difficult to find words to explain to other people what this what. So that's. Ultimately where the word soul up team bro because that was like, oh my gosh, that makes sense like are sold love each other, right And now, the word that connects with us like I we both are not lesbian. We're not talking to women. We are both are still physically attracted to men, but like we are in love with each other. Were these a lot of conversations that you guys were having together as well. Like is this something that you guys felt that you were able to navigate in in the in between when you're still friends but you're having this attraction in his love towards each other that you know is more than just you know two girlfriends hanging out were you able to come together and have these more in depth conversations or? Did. was there ever a moment where it was harder or scary to have these conversations together because it is so cold? You know to really good question I I. Don't think we navigated communication. As much in the beginning of it all because we we didn't know. So I KINDA WANNA say like, no, we didn't have those conversations especially beginning. We've actually tried to fight it I. Mean we bought it for a really long. Fought it for the full to yeah to be honest. it wasn't until kind of the are. So how who are living in the landlord was like, hey so I'm selling the house and there's a buyer so you guys have to be out plan. Yeah. So basically, the landlord gave. The forty five days to move out of that how. and. When for me I was like, okay. I need to get my own little apartment to really finally focus on myself. I always been in a sorority or form or you know living in the House with friends or my parents always like my younger life and now I was really kind of stepping into. Okay. Like done with college what's happening right staying La like go back to Florida. So I go to New York where most of my friends were and where I did all my internship. So I was kind of in this space where. I don't know you know. So for me, it was important like I was the first to move out of the house. Oh. My God I doubt within a week. Oh. We have forty five days you out was in me and then there was life without Morgan or a couple of weeks and I not like that. I knew that. I knew that she was I was like Oh. Oh no like I used to everything go to bed you know and I was like I did not I knew right away when she moved out was like, okay some the know like I. Don't want this like you'll get your own apartment I get my own place and. I I I was struggling when she moved out because you can bounce within like a week before I was ready I think I moved out on day forty four, maybe forty nine. And so then you're living separately and then you realize you don't WanNa live separately you want to be together. And try to live separately, increase rides and live separately. We live very close to each other so either I was at her house in Hollywood help I think he. Might have been in the Hollywood hills off or I was in or she was at my apartment basically is what happened you know like? So I after the.

"He guys. It's candice and Kayla and we are directionally challenged. Oh. Yeah. We thought we would have it all figured out by the time we were in our thirties but surprise, we don't know we don't. And that's okay. It's okay and it's okay not to have it all figured out but we're just trying to get one step closer every single day doing the rest we can. we'll today we have a love story that we WANNA share with our listeners. It's beautiful of story. And we're really excited for you guys to hear it. We've had so many people right in asking to get advice on what to do about weddings. Obviously, twenty twenty has not been the best year to have a wedding on your calendar whether you're a wedding guest whether you're part of the wedding party but especially if it's your wedding. With, Cova nineteen it is derailed everybody's wedding plans and. Someone who is planned a wedding and his married and Kayla you've planned a wedding. We both know how stressful that is and how emotional that would be to have to have all of those plans changed. So today we're sitting down with two brides who had their wedding, all set and ready to go from March twenty twenty. Obviously that had to change your right today we are sitting down with Free Ana, Capri, and Morgan bow and they're the epitome of relationship goals mode only because like candidate said, they had to postpone the most epic wedding and we know they're not alone We're going to sit down and talk about their heartbreaking experience of doing just that and how each of us can continue to grow our relationships even through the most tumultuous times we love them so much. So without further ADO, here is our beautiful conversation with Ron Morgan. Okay well I guess for me. It's really important that we start at the very beginning of your guys love story because I feel like you have such a captivating awesome story about how you first met and I really want our listeners to know this. So can we start there Hello Hello Brianna here and Well, it's interesting because. She came in. To Book, an appointment for highlights. and. Not. That simple never in my life literally, my whole life doing here did I ever date any of my clients like I made it like a rule. 'cause yeah. It just because obviously. know when we first met we hit it off right away but not romantically like neither of us have dated girls they're not interested in growth and a lot of interest not interested in whole. So love comes from but your overall I mean, we definitely had some sort of instinct connection right away was was a lot. Of Music that we connected on and Coachella was like three weeks later and you're like, Oh, you're going to go tell us. Oh my okay. Let's meet about Coachella and and we had the best time I could tell and kind of instantly became best friend so much so that we ended up. becoming roommate. And then had to other friends, join us in a bigger house. So there was four of us in a house and we were all roommate buffalo girl small. It was the best of. It sounds like a friends episode. Oh. Yeah Percent we did that for two years and it was. It was pretty awesome I two guys living. Then we're girls and two guys. Yes, and later there were two other guys. It was a big house modest but you know from. I mean, we went on double date together. We go out and be like Oh that guy's hot guys like we would do like. Normal friend girlfriend type of thing that you do you know and. I mean where where the shift happen I, mean you know. I think it was Kinda like the. The sole part of it I feel like that's where it comes in like we met also this is Morgan. When we met it was you know like when you met someone and you'd be like you've known them and other live or for years or whatever kind of you believe in personally type of thing. So. It was kind of just like super easy to become close friends Kinda just like it's like we always have been in a weird way Definitely it was more than highlights like came in with orange hair I had dyed my hair black I was trying to look like Megan Fox. That, I just looks like vampire It was terrible. That they. Didn't know what to do had someone tried to get it out my hair turned orange. So I asked the only people that I knew that like lived in Los Angeles at that time, I was going to UCLA. I was like what I do I need to fix my hair like this is you know I'm graduating soon I was in like a few weeks graduate. So I wanted to like not have orange hair and money you know graduation. Yes. So they appointed me jury on it nine zero one and you know she canceled on me for three weeks for this person Nina Dobrev no idea that was. Finally got in literally like the day before my final exam. But I was like in the chair in the salon like hung over with like a huge textbooks just like. Buying, power. into. I don't know how we connected on that point but. You definitely wasn't over she definitely had her textbook. Trying to study and we don't think we got any. Well. It just goes to show to we all planned to meet people in our lives and get you know dolled up to whatever that means to. And then you end up getting your life partner when you're hung over with a textbook i. Like I'm not even trying to like not even yeah like I think that's the craziest thing. The whole thing is like the full two years is like. There was a connection there, but we didn't know what that connection really was, but it's it definitely started to be stronger than friends and. We just kept pushing it aside 'cause like we don't like girls. So what was weird so just just come with me everywhere. Let's have lunch. Let's have dinner. Let's go here. Let's go there and literally like bonded. To be, best, friend. Though and I'm sitting there was kinda point for living together and the big house it was kind of like. We. Sat Down with each other I was just like so. You know. We realized that. We wanted to spend time with each other. Yeah. How other people going on other days and whatever it's like I would rather spend time with you. That's kind of how it started. We realized like. Who Do you WanNa see yeah, you're right. I mean. But then was also like, okay, this is interesting in a weird for us. Is that happened like is just like a life change like Me Now for us you know yeah. So it was like a struggle. Yeah. I can imagine it was a struggle you're living in in this house with your friends, but you're only wanting to be with each other realize that like this might WanNa take this relationship forward but you don't even know what that really means and then how. How do you make that decision to take it forward and then also share that decision with your roommates who you live with. Great Question. Well, how do you think the decision to move a forward.
Arcana Voting Semis
"Go. To get into. So we're. into. The semi-finals. For the Arcana vote. So, do any of these surprise you. So Specter beats more fling I think we both predicted that. Spin, beat Luna. Did we predict on? I predicted that Luna, I think we both predicted Luna Win win but I wanted spent to win. I was very pleasantly surprised. Of course, he's going to get crushed by Specter said as A. invoquer destroyed a P. L. no surprise. And this one was a surprise witchdoctor barely beat drought Rangers Syndrome. Yeah. which be John didn't expect either. So now out of our final eight, six cores to supports and the supports are lion witch doctor we're going up against void and invoke I think we're going to end up having only course left in the top four. That's right. So I think void will beat Lyon. NYPD will be handsome. Age Spectrum will beats van and invoquer will be which Dr Yeah and I don't think any of these votes will be close maybe sniper am a little bit the others but. Then again now that it's all kind of narrow down maybe all the support players. Will vote for their. They only have to to pick from. Yeah. That's the problem they should have had one That's how link group. That is true. Now you're splitting the vote, and if they both lose, you have nobody to vote for anymore. Then you need to get creative with who your support because it's your support picking Volker A. Sniper I. Like it. That's true for. Fair enough. Anyway, just remember guys when you're voting for your support, just don't vote for lion. That's the easy way to remember this gopher witchdoctor if you're going to pick one of the to. Sure, you'd look into chateau because you needed a bed for the night, but that could mean any number of different things. The Chateau was a hotel synonymous with sex drugs, rock road, death, infamy, madness badness, and depending upon your face and fame, simply the price in position of your room. Remembering Carl Reiner, A Legendary Writer, Producer And Performer
"This is fresh air when Carl Reiner sitcom pilot starring him, his TV writer Rob Petrie was rejected by CBS producer Sheldon Leonard rescued it by persuading Reiner to replace the entire cast, including Reiner himself. The result. The Dick Van Dyke show was a major TV hit and made a star of its then unknown leading lady Mary Tyler Moore. Terry Gross spoke with her about the show and her TV character in 1995. What were you told about the character of Laura? Just that she was going to be a wife, a television wife, and that really had its classical parameters and dimensions that they were established. And they hardly ever varied except A Sze to whether or not the wife was the star of the show. In which case she was the funny one. Or if she were the straight man for the male star, and she was then totally supportive, but all these wives We're kind of obedient and you know, a representative of the vows to love, honor and obey. They hardly varied from that, and With with Carl Reiners character the way she was written, Laura actually had opinions of her own. While she was asserting herself. She also didn't make Dick Van Dyke look like a dummy. It was ah, a matter of two people. I mean, society's expectations of that point still said, Hey, wait a minute, lady. You only go so far here, but I think we broke new ground. And and that was helped by my insistence on wearing Pants. You know, jeans and and capri pants at the time because I said, I've I've seen all the other actresses, and they're always running the vacuum in these little flowered frocks with high heels on And I don't do that. And I don't know any of my friends to do that. So why don't we try to make this real and I'll dress on the show the way I do in real life, But it wasn't that easy. The sponsors were afraid you brazen right? They pointed specifically to if they used the term cupping under And I can only assume that that meant my you know my my seat that there was a little too much definition. And so they allowed me to continue to wear them in one episode. One scene per episode. And only after we check to make sure that there was a little cupping under as possible could coming under referring to the fit of your pants, the fit of the pants on my behind, right? But within a few weeks we were we were sneaking them into a few other scenes in every episode, and they were definitely cutting under and everyone thought it was great. The funny thing is, you know. Women liked me. They were not envious of the fact that their husbands had a crush on me. It was okay with them. They they were the first to know when I would meet people. They'd say My husband loves you so much. And he thinks you're so sexy. And this was it was not thing because they were also able to identify with me as a friend as a girlfriend. There was no resentment, no fear. Yeah, well, I think that that speaks so well for the character and your your portrayal of her. Did you do a lot of rehearsing with Dick Van Dyke? Or did you just have to do it? Minutes before the actual broken? The whole show was done in what they call multiple camera technique could still done today. But back then we were maybe the sixth or seventh show to use the technique. It began with Joan Davis, not Lucille Ball as everyone thinks John Davis did a show called I married Joan. What a girl! What a world What a life! Hey for you, and then Lucy and several other shows followed. But in that show it's a little like doing theater that's captured on film. You rehearsed for five days and then Ah, On the evening of the fifth day, the audience comes in and the camera's having blocked their moves in yours lined up with them. You film it from top to bottom in continuity. So during those five days, it was at least the 1st 3 days. It was very much a matter of rehearse. And contribute and attempt things and not be afraid to fail to make a fool of yourself. Just pick yourself up. And if it didn't happen this time, then the next time the experiment maybe it will Was a wonderfully supportive creative environment. Mary Tyler Moore, speaking to Terry Gross in 1995.

A Harrowing Colonoscopy
"You had your first homicide pins extra last week which I'm going to say was a glittering affair. Yes what you time you did. Proud is what I would say and make see the one listeners. Famous aprons are in so much agreement with the inbox has been overloaded with praise for you. Tell me darling and well the first one. I'm going to read it email. I'm GonNa read is from Jamie. He says his been touched by your colonoscopy story. So no wait till you hear about this so here we go from Jamie. Hi Folks Loving the podcast folks and the Bantu you have between you. I laughed at the colonoscopy stories. I remember my inexperienced back in my early twenty s like most young gay men. I was terrified of what was looking up there. I can trace. The day of the procedure arrived quickly after an exhausting day. Previous drinking four liters of toxic soap water. I didn't know how to do that. That seems weird. Maybe that was just his. I normally love sedation as well. But this day I drove to the hospital not realizing I owed requi- one and the nurse asking me who was collecting me after I. The nurse asked if anyone was clean after mid sedation. I wake up and also look up seeing my name on the TV. And the and of the doctor massaging my belly together camera to go round the Kink in my colon I subsequently asked where they recording it for me memorabilia. It's like when you get off a ride thought park which is a picture of you. GonNa Screen you. Can you can pay twenty quid to keep it. S post-recovery lamb bed dreaming of the Cavalry Dinner. I promised myself and thinking we will get to the hospital without someone collecting me. I'd go for soup after colonoscopy. Wouldn't you know two full for Hood Italy easier so that I can maybe smooth jam I jumped? I jumped up off wolfing. My tea and toast was dressed in waiting to navigate past the nurses station but I got caught my code. He's jailbreak matron came around the corner asking where I was going quickly replied looking down. The corridor pasta to random man shouted coo mark then shuffling by the desk in towards the man saying this random person was my brother. The nurse I kept going never looks back so he escaped under anaesthetic with a stranger. He had just pretended he needed a stranger and then used him to get past the Matrix. Next up was the crossing of the Joe Carry Trae. He's still going through the Capri here. Of course the joke carries driving in my head. He's on the run but you're right. You're right. He's probably driving a Jew carriageway to Knicks Crossing of cash. Way To get food in a local pub which I would hope to sober me up enough to drive post anesthetic to drive. Oh my well. Needless to say I am alive today. He says well. I think we should say we did not. We are laughing at this story but we absolutely do not command this gentleman for being so close with his hail. Colonoscopy sources of anecdotes for podcasts own colonoscopy is for life not for Christmas I feel a lot feels appropriate here Jamie says I would love to leave review but alas I do not use apple well okay. What do t shirt for you? Then I'd have to say I didn't wasn't much praised for me in that it was all about.

Has Life Knocked You Out?
"So here's what we're going to talk about today. Has Life knocked you out? This was interesting. I was just doing some reading. I was online just looking at some different stuff in reading. Different things you guys know. I'm I'm super nerd. And I love to read 'em research and that's how I get a lot of topic ideas for you guys to like. You guys will make comments in the facebook group or something or your message me and ask me some questions or people that hire me as their coach will have conversation about certain things and it will just kind of piqued my interest in all jump online and start digging a little deeper into those topics. And that's how I I decide what topics to do on the show. So we've been talking a lot recently about just happiness in general and actually have a client who airs twentysomethings a young guy. Good Looking Kid. Good job goes to the gym. And he's really struggling kind of with happiness in general and he asked me like he said to me Angela. Where are all these people that I see in the world like are all these people really thriving or do they just look like they're thriving and they're really just surviving and I thought it was such a fascinating question because I think you know we talk about this a lot on this show where I think people we do have a tendency to Kinda shore best moments right with social media? Everybody is so much more out there than we used to be for sure. And it's too easy to kind of highlight all of our best moments and not show the lower moments in the struggles. You know we don't tend to talk about those things as much so I started digging around and one of the first things I came across was an article about the twenty nineteen world happiness report and it said negative feelings are rising around the world and the United States is particularly hard hit with an epidemic of addictions and man what a fascinating statement right epidemic of addictions had think. A lot of that too is there are a lot of different addictions that we don't even talk about that much right. There's this whole tech addiction. That's happening right now. Everybody is addicted to their phones and computers and Social Media and porn and sex addiction which also ties into tech because now everybody can have pornography right in their hand everywhere they go all day long and of course. Food addiction is huge. And I think we've always known that. In for many years we've talked about obesity and heart disease and diabetes and some of those issues that go with poor eating habits. But we don't necessarily talk about it a lot in the sense that it's a food addiction right disordered eating in those kinds of things so an epidemic of addictions in the United States. And I think that's really accurate. It's kind of sad but it is really accurate. So here's the question about. Are we actually thriving or just surviving? I think we have this tendency to look at other people and think that they're always doing better than we are. You know we look at other people and think they've got it figured out better than we do but do they really are they actually just surviving and on the inside their feeling equally as overwhelmed and as exhausted as you are in the other article. I found was on huff post and this is really going to be the crux of our episode today and this was written by Cathy. Capri no on Huffpost DOT COM. And she pulled her audience. Okay and she did. Let me see what it says. Here she put up the survey to her community and seven hundred. People had responded at the time that she wrote this. This was a couple years ago. Seven hundred people had responded so far. The key question was if you could say in one word what you want more of in life. What would that be? Sounds simple right of all? The things people responded. She took the ten most frequently mentioned things. And she wrote this article. And of course I will link to the full article This is just my take on certain ones that I think. Go Hand in hand with what we talk about on this podcast all the time and making changes in our lives and trying to live better lives in really trying to feel better because for us in this context of sobriety and recovery. I have to do a lot of work in these other areas and I have to feel good in these other areas. Because that's what will allow me to remain sober comfortably. I willing to the full article if you WanNa read the whole thing. It's really really good. It's not super long so of course I'll put that link in it's it's a great article but this piqued my interest. Because when I read it I think as addicted people you like to think that you are more broken than everyone else or you think. You're weak because you have addiction and what I really want you to see what this article is. Everyone addiction or not struggles with the same issues. The majority of people as human beings we want the same things and as a society we are desperately lacking lives that are happy and fulfilling whether we have addiction or not and I want you to really hear that. Everyone is struggling to be happy and feel happy. Everyone is questioning themselves in feeling like they don't have enough time and feeling guilty because they aren't being a good parent or they aren't being a partner to their partner. There are a ton of people who aren't doing jobs they love who WanNa make more money and a ton of people who have taken a beating by life and have super low self esteem. You don't have these struggles because you are an alcoholic and F. up beyond repair and I know that's what you think so. Stop It stop. You are human. You are not week. Life is hard so I picked a handful of the responses to this survey. We're GONNA talk about how we're missing the mark. How To better understand it and what to do to feel better in. Get closer to that life that you want and deserve. Let me read the intro again. Just to refresh you. Huffpost DOT COM by Kathy Capri. No if you could say in one word what you would want more of in life. What would that be? She goes on to say of all the things people indicated. They wanted more of following. Were the ten most frequently mentioned. Here's my take on what's missing in life and work today in why we can't get enough of these precious ingredients and then she includes a quote in each one that I will read as well and again I will link to the I willing to that full article So you can get there and read that also so the number one thing that people said they were missing the one thing number one response was happiness and the biggest challenge took a quote in all these quotes from actual respondents right. These are real. People quotes biggest challenge. Not Knowing what I want to do and she writes the number. One mentioned missing element was happiness. It has become so hard to achieve an even harder to maintain in my work with professional women. I've seen that happiness continually escapes them. Because I they don't really understand exactly what will make them happy. They just don't know themselves well at all secondly they search outside themselves for happiness in a job husband a family a title a paycheck a Fancy House as a result happiness is constantly out of their control and a perpetual moving target. That never stands still long enough for them to grasp. I'm not saying that these things don't bring happiness. Of course they can the key point. Is that if everything you are searching for remains outside of you you'll always be scrambling and chasing. I don't know about you but I to remember a lot of this same conversation in a lot of these podcast episodes like this is the stuff we talk about you guys in and remember. She's not talking to people with addiction. This is her community obviously. It sounds like she works with professional women. I don't know exactly what her community is I just found the article like I said on Huff Post but these are not people with addiction. But what she described is exactly what we do. As addicted people right. We look for things outside of ourselves to change how we feel on the
"capri" Discussed on KTTH 770AM
"In the program we spoke with Capri Cafaro a former democratic lawmaker and one of our friends here at fox talking about among other things the dam primary have a listen so I want to ask you first and foremost about Iowa so there are obviously differences between your state of Ohio and Iowa but in some ways they are similar not every way I just want to make that clear but they're midwestern states both went for trump by very similar margins swing states that swung from president Obama to president trump quite heavily in twenty sixteen and I just wonder as you think about that sort of electorate and your party and your party's basin voters right now I'm looking at the real clear politics average from Iowa the last let's see five polls have been Bernie plus seven bite right less six Bernie plus nine Bernie plus five Biden plus two that averages out to Sanders with a three point six percent lead caucuses are weird there sometimes hard to predict based on what you know based on your experience based on what you are hearing what do you expect to see on Monday I do think actually Bernie Sanders of the pull it out here's why as you mentioned guy you know cops is a weird and that basically means that it is necessary to have a you know a strong ground game and infrastructure and a lot of you know people in place to be able to you know get your supporters in a room and keep them in a room because he obviously very different than just going to pull the casting a ballot in a traditional primary Bernie Sanders almost be Hillary Clinton twenty sixteen and you know he benefits very heavily from I think having a pre existing network infrastructure the in twenty sixteen that was a pretty successful so you know I I happen to think that it's possible for Bernie Sanders to pull it out and obviously the polls are showing that I think it will be neck and neck with Joe Biden I think we're gonna see come up from folks like Amy Klobuchar and I think that we're going to alter their pizza well it's weak it so that those are my those are my prediction coming out of Iowa Elizabeth Warren I think I think you're going to come in I think actually I think you could come in for I think even quicker than a beater so it would be so you think you think clover char would come in third which suggests that you think gentle coming fifth yeah well I mean to me it let's say you're right roughly correct if a little hi I mean there it's going to be very close together but I I that would be my general general handicap on let me ask you this if it's if it's Warren and booted challenge occupying the fourth and fifth spots whether one is fourth or fifth you can flip them back and forth if we're going to get your fourth or below I don't necessarily want to say their campaigns are over but man that would be pretty devastating to our it won't be because doing pretty well I would back in New Hampshire just by virtue of geography let you know I it's it's hard to say who's going to win New Hampshire well I think that you will be competitive enough and close enough to New Hampshire to you know continue on her merry way I think that you know we really have not seen a lot of merit Pete recently that's not to say that you know involvement and may not be you know good morning under the surface still in Iowa but you know the movement seems to be yet Amy Klobuchar is moving are you know gaining some momentum calling out hello man ten merry go in and and which is interesting because you know the conventional wisdom has been all the senators being taken out of the field and in the impeachment you know what it would have a disadvantage to folks like mere Pete and Joe Biden who would have an opportunity to spend all their time on the trail and we're not seeing that yeah maybe not so another scenario and I've been asking these scenarios to a lot of our last left leaning gas over the course of the week so I want to see how you respond let's say Joe Biden wins Iowa on Monday night again not getting too far ahead of ourselves and with caviar did cetera but to me you can make a case that of Biden has won Iowa it's kind of starting to feel over before it even began do you agree I would say that because there's such low expectations for go by sh column if he wins it will actually mean the most for Joe Biden than anybody else in my opinion because I think that there's a function that you kind of treading water and that is you know the court is a mile wide and an inch deep so he's able to wait to South Carolina and so on and then if you get the end up getting South Carolina so you know if he wins Iowa is you know even a close second in New Hampshire the win South Carolina you know it it's going to continue to I you know but I can definitely plan to work when we come back she said it was going to be dry January for her and her husband she came on this program on the air and said no booze in January we're doing in fact we might not even drink again and eleven days later it was all a lie user Christine we'll try to justify the absolute collapse of her dry January commitment we grill her on the home stretch next for the full interview and more go to guy Benson show dot com so.
The Insider's Amalfi
"When you dream of a change of scenery I'll bet it looks a lot like the Mafia coast of Italy. It's famous for the scent of lemon trees and breathtaking ocean views from a white-knuckle highway high above the jagged slopes of the soren team peninsula end long grew up in small town Illinois fell in love with an Italian from Sorrento and she's made that area her home since she joins us an insider's view for exploring the Amalfi area and nearby without being at the mercy of an endless crowd. Fellow sightseers and welcome. Thank you very much. I'm glad to be here rick. Now and you live in the Mafia coast. Yes have you noticed How does it deal with congestion? I mean everybody's wild about the mafia cost. Everyone wants to see it. It's one of the main things that when you coming down to my area. POMPEII and the Alfie Coaster. Too Big stops while you know when I think about it of all the places I could stay with a tour group Sorrento. You could spend a lot of nights there I think because from that home base you can see Capri you can see leave. You can see POMPEII and of course you can make that excursion done the Amalfi coast tight. Everybody wants to go to the famous places on the Amalfi the town of a Mafia Pussy Tano Rebelo but there must be another dimension because even parking your car is like impossible in a multi. It's become impossible. It really has become impossible on those seems to be the cities that are more advertised to the American market. That they're familiar with the name. But there's so many places between those cities and passed. I following the same drive and you're even extending it even as far as Salerno so there is that drive. It's the coastal highway one. Oh One kinda that's exactly right. It is a narrow road with a lot of buses. I remember they had a situation. What was the deal? One day everybody will go north and the other day everybody go south or what is that. They they tried with smaller buses. This is that now. You can't go with anything longer than a certain things so that they could pass correctly then the guy to the alternative license plates then they got to the permits that you'd you'd have to apply for a permit and now it's one way can go down but they have to come back a different way. They can't come back the same way. Oh I didn't know that okay so it is north to south and then you can go back inland top and come back on the tollway from Salerno. Okay this is travel with Rick Steves. We're talking with Enron. We're talking about out for adopted neighborhood. The mafi coast. Why is there so much intrigue about the Amalfi Coast? What is it about it that brings all the people are so they're they're very very well advertised for fashion for food for the Liebmann cello for pottery and just the spectacular very high end restaurants and hotels when he puts a ton of it was like made for jeters just a gorgeous tiny little Kabul town? But it's got all these design shops and the yachts on the ads that that are outside of Posey. Tommy you gotta get to know somebody down at the port so that you know who's in town. Oh my goodness so as just part of the rabble who does never yacht you can be stuck stuck outside the town wondering why can't get it in. So where where would you go. That's not one of the famous places so of course it. You certainly want to see the whole Amalfi coast but once you get to Amalfi Oh fi you can whether you you're driving you continue on or if you take the public bus you just swap and you can go further on me. Noti and my Odi are called minor in major ager. Those are beach communities that are very well known with Italians but not so much with the foreigners and my experience in Minori is that there are a lot of big simple simple hotels that have affordable room very likely to have his body. Yeah a little bit cheaper. Prices minority am I am or I and then the sister city Meharry Meharry M. A. I. O. R. is that literally major and minor yes named after the branches of a river and then from there. You've got access to a Nice beach very nice beach sir. My odious major is the largest beach flat beach much better than Posey. Tanno much better than a mouth. Isn't that ironic. Cheaper people go go to the beach and they go to Positano and they don't get nice pay three times. The amount and I would think minorities just half an hour away from some of these other. Famous prices exactly act on a public bus. A public bus and the bus would come by every Roman history. There are women remains in that town of minority as well. So it's not just that you go there for a beach you can have a walk around and have a look at the history now. There's a very popular walk that goes from up in the hills in Rabelo down to Amalfi the town It's it's just dramatic. Walk talk a little bit about the hikes possible in the mall. Fico straight we have a again they sell hiking maps that take you all either horizontally right across the mountain or up and down and of course our most famous one is the pathway of the gods that starts up above mouthy heads in finishes above Posey channel. So you've got the sea in front of you the whole time while you're walking for the kind of Hecker that likes to have gravity be on your side. You can take a bus or taxi up to the tonight you start at the top and then working down and then work your way

Listen to my voice much now so I want to hear from you guys and go around in the Circle Okay Fab grace you all go to cleanser is the also the animists pro collagen cleansing ball Yeah I I love the cleansing bomb I think it's like the nicest way to me you can make up because you're not just stripping riffing off your skin you feel like you put something better than I do actually use Masala water as well Oh my God almost I room John Doe Paul with the same and yes well I normally use uh-huh just get everything off my face then go in with the cleansing ball yeah and I like to spend a lifetime massaging in 'cause I feel like it Scott the right kind of consent but in a chore you're just you're enjoying your cells enjoying washing you Faye Dream Tony Grace Dream toner would be the FRAC Kochta's also actually lactic acidosis so it's a explanation kind of alternative to a scrub and that yeah I just Soak compared and he's it maybe two or three times a week yeah I was going to say without being locked cuss it how often do Jeez it. PM and the piano I wouldn't anything like vitamin C. on them after it kind of just let it sit and do it seeing me put my moisturizer on but yeah it's very gentle so like I think it'd be a nice one fee to try tasty because it doesn't stain his whole it's not like a really strong guide call it in the market for an exfoliating it just can't find one that works well for me yes such a SOB story I care about all of your dream routines I just want to know what's good for me I'm Gonna I'm GonNA listen to this it's dangerous avenue her because I felt the law danger us well I am not the person that doesn't have elements as their favorite cleanse so I my favorite cleanse it is the Kim Ledge Capri Clinton's bomb the step one oh she's a boo boo she go and the reason I like it so much is because it's kind of like the consistency I can imagine your LMS Clinton Baez obviously it's a bomb but they give you this kind of really gentle little rubber finger like appropriate type thing so that you can message in a little bit more than that feels really nice like you said you like semi Sarge Duffield's amazing and it's very much like would not use all the time but if so if I'm going out and if one heavy makeup I will use that to make sure everything's off and then I will go in with the kneeled low-viscous t semester I think it's literally just called LV C. plus the full name friend and it's kind it reminds me of a missile awards because it you literally just put it on rubber around a bit and then give you couldn't just wipe off right this one you can do that with but then also has this really love negative reviews because when you use hi oily and then when you wash it off it's like water on a dog's bark just dislike slides off its a bit like that but then as soon as you like pie drive the towel it leave your skin dead soft and like Supposin plumpy Nice yeah sucker film after Lewis People may see why a were a fan of that yeah yeah yeah I think as a Ah Dry Gal I'm absolutely love it and it's an can take scarf at the same time and in terms of tone I have gone for your hated product teams I don't hate it you know I did use Minoza an offer the glossy solution I honestly we did I did four weeks not makeup did not ex- journey yeah we did it before and after officer wasn't wearing make anyway so that was an improvement in my skin but then I was using the solution and kind of carried on with that and then run out of it and didn't really hi it for whatever reason and then as I got maybe I'll just try again and then as soon as I re boy within like a month Motzkin had completely played up and then when I went to couldn't take it with me 'cause it was too big for hand luggage on my skin just was a bit kind of out of touch with the weather being so cold and I was really high up amount Tinson stuff but then it just didn't react very well at all to play as soon as I came started using atom bomb again like a few other little spots that only
NASA ScienceCast 303: Exploring the Presence of Water on the Moon
"As NASA prepares to return to the moon one of the many exciting opportunity scientists are preparing for is the ability to use the water that exists there support human exploration the presence of water has been relatively recent discovery opening up many exciting possibilities for future exploration and just as many questions about the water's origins in the late one thousand nine hundred ninety s Nasr's lunar prospector mission found extra hydrogen at the polls and where there's hydrogen there might be water enter the L. Cross mission designed to determine the type and amount of hydrogen that might be present jess below the moon's polar regions. Tony Capri is a planetary scientist at NASA Ames Research Center and was the principal investigator for the L. Cross mission to determine the form of hydrogen at the polls we needed way to access material below the surface so we carried a piece of the Atlas rocket we launched on all the way to the moon and directed it into one of the large permanently title craters near the South Pole which caused a plume of dust and debris to shoot upwards we had a probe with nine different measuring instruments following the plumes ten mile or sixteen kilometer upward trajectory the lunar reconnaissance orbiter spacecraft was also making up of the plume while mapping the lunar surface from it orbit around the moon the lunar dirt in the plume hadn't seen the sun in over two billion years in the sunlight among other metals and gases we found after about five percent by weight now we know there's water on the moon research scientists jen helmet is also at eight does she explains why the discovery is much more than just a scientific curiosity ultimately I believe we'll be living on the moon for extended periods of time so we need to take advantage of whatever resources we can find their water is h two o a combination of hydrogen oxygen and we can break it apart so now we have a source of hydrogen and oxygen that may be able to be used for rocket fuel as well as a source of oxygen breathing water on the Moon gives you a new paradigm for future space exploration very exciting in the ten years since the outcross mission we've continued to study water at the Lunar Poles from but with instruments on several missions but we still have lots of questions where for instance did the water come from some believed that the water and other volatile could be remnants of comets an asteroid impacts over billions of years others point to recent meteoric shower hours they can be seen producing water vapor in where exactly is the water we've confirmed that water exists in the CABELA's crater near the Moon South Pole where the L. Cross impact occurred but how plentiful is it and can we expect to find it in other soup for cold regions we won't be able to answer any of these questions with certainty until we visit the South Pole with robots astronauts through the artem program NASA is planning to do just that thirsting for more information about the changing science of

I don't have the website right there but it's in Boca Raton Florida so nice area take your phone now okay you know this area a little old people there I guess Fort Lauderdale Book Everybody ars yeah it's a rule if You York and you hit a certain age have to go to Florida so a lot of Jewish people they're all mostly Jewish take a joke I was a did you really never remember the job because you know I I knew that there was a joke about all the people in Florida and then there was also a joke about a mile driving the cadillacs to I forget what that one was on site NFL Remember on Seinfeld his parents lived in like Boca Vista. It was like a total goof on the films of all the old people in Florida all the old Jewish people in Florida so that's exciting it's exciting I love working my dad I mean he we're no he was eighty eight he's still sharpie still hilarious still one of the funniest guys I know we worked one another time together in Atlantic City at the we're all going through my mind so when you're getting ready to do a show I mean how do you decide what material to user like if you're just working on something you think it's funny you just like this thing you're going to do with your fathers do you. to come up with a theme or did you just say hey I've been working on this stuff it's funny and I'm just GonNa like just do whatever that's a great question when I do the show for dad it will it will definitely be different than I'll be in Vegas next week and that will be no holds barred anything goes here we'll have the pull it back and pull back any like more current references anything fairly new or any more pop culture stuff they don't understand as much I have a question so great when you teach how how do you get across when people aren't funny what do you what do you do are you trying to say Chris I just kick them out I think it keeps the money then kick them out I think everyone can be funny at one point or another really not funny they're really not getting it you know some people have taken my class just for the public speaking experience just to get some sort of confidence on stage and there's been a few of those people that I wouldn't recommend getting into comedy but I would never deter them from you know giving creative even and going through the at least the process the develops a material I think they can make that decision on their own I'm going to give them the full class no matter if think they're funny or not I'll just think are funny like Dana she she has she Christmas should she laughs time I make her laugh all the time as me drinks so obviously I'm doing something right yeah exactly yeah you're GonNa have the next round the next oh by the next two awesome can I ask him another question now I dated a guy in high school who was allow yeah just one just one guy we didn't have sex on dated this guy in high school and he's now a veteran he's a wounded worry uh-huh Wow and I've told them about you oh he's listened to some of your stuff if you're listening now what's his name Tom Carla Tom Carlo thank you for your service you did trips overseas yes the veterans and I think that is awesome yes I just came back from tour this was a really nice too entertained I do a lot of shows entertaining the military that's great so I've been very lucky to go overseas and do that I've done Iraq and Afghanistan and and a lot of the Middle East this particular tour recently this summer was Italy Spain Greece and Portugal wow wars going on there nobody we have basis they're out basis and all those places so and those those guys some of those guys you know even though they're in these nicer places you know it's still a signed and sometimes they can't get out and do their thing and a lot of them just live on base and that's their that's their life so it's groundhog day so it's fun when they get to go to a show it could you know they still kind of take out of their normal day to day thank you for your service Oh hey do you get to spend time with the guys and stuff too definitely the shows and then a lot of times there's a meet and greet afterward rose came to be the premier of our documentary we did here in Hermosa Documentary did call I feel like I'm just plugging stuff now that was great at the battle coming I am battle Com comic I love that concept that it was great it's a fun movie you saw the movie it was great I loved it directed by Jordan Brady who also directed I am comic and I am road comic this is or not just a drink but to me so what was your question yes so when you were talking about the confidence sometimes you'll get a p per somebody in the class they won't you know come in there so they could build their confidence in learned skills to perform in front of the jury that's really not might question but one thing I did find about the acting classes it was very kind of systematic thing I was surprised that the the process of acting has a it has a process I mean there's certain things as the you do not that it's mechanical but it it can be taught a system is comedy like that like there's a system to follow to either create a joke eight people laugh or to tell a funny story does that does that make sense yeah you've taken acting you'll you'll rand objective in having the backstory yes I can't really speak to acting I don't have a lot of experience with that myself I'm taking Improv classes that I'm a graduate of second city.

"Hey everybody welcome to an American conversation podcast we have a special guest a friend of mine a comedian Jeff Capri Hi Jeff Hi Guys Hi Jeff here thanks for having me coming this you buy drinks I'm buying drinks I use shocking because David is usually ep doesn't like pain Oh really step up I figured your gas someone as well I even had to take the manual oh that's right and take control wow I'm not a man I think everybody thanks for noticing so much better now so jeff I think you're really really funny thank you and I WanNa let these guys know how I met you okay so I wanted to be a standup comic go figure and I took his class I found him online and I'm like this guy seems great I made or see my friend or the come and take the class with me and and yet another girl two yes that was her friend okay so we basically brought all these people to take this class for free I mean I thought he was going to get annoyed and throw me out but he didn't know and some other guy took it free and then to the ladies kind of intrigue it really like a comedy class it was more like what are we going to go after this class exactly it seemed like them were them yeah I think I was the only one who paid and then then there was a couple of other people after you that came along Yes yes you got it for free and you brought everyone else to pay no I paid my two friends who weren't comedians they just wanted to you only had one friend in another front is her friend yeah one friend basically trying to make I can make that point the first class away for free and if you like did then so that's how that works she's enjoyed the first class and ended up paying for the rest of the class and I gave Ernie thank you but needless to say I sucked I I did not like it I really didn't like it like the class or you didn't like being on stage he didn't like being on stage okay at all this is a better format for me like having other people in working off other people kind of like Oh Gosh Comedy Journal that the groundlings did quite well though you you have you have you had a great perspective W. have a bubbly fun personality you have a sense of humor kind of important he obviously doesn't know me well I'm always angry she can be a little militant but it's funny militant but listen tell these guys how you started wow okay that's that goes back a little ways I started I have a little different story than most comics my father is a comedian he saw that also he he was he was big in the catskill mountains and then for years open for like Engelbert Humperdinck and Tom Jones and eventually was on Broadway any when I was a kid I would visit him on the East Coast I grew up here in southern California and he would put me on stage and we would do jokes together and so I kinda got that was my first exposure and I did as a kid and then at about sixteen seventeen I started doing open mic nights at in Orange County where I grew up where it's called the laptop which if you if you ever watch comedians in cars getting copy Seinfeld talks about that room all the time that was that was a hot room remind it was it was kind of on the cusp it was I think I'd been there that's yeah that's often more yeah it was a great club I mean millions of play there are a lot of people and when I was young Mc so I got to open for you know at the time Ellen before she got big and Paul reiser before you got a lot of people it was a great place to cut your teeth that's it so when did you decide this is it I'm going to be a comedian and that's how I mean that's how you've gone through I don't know if I've ever really made that decision skill to say I think you were pretty funny on their guys it'd be very kind and you're clean and you're yeah so you were thinking that as well at the mother fucking bitch in that I mean because you have to be black to make jokes like that or you are the Republican I just watched over am I wrong do more black comedians do now you know they don't know you know what my point is okay no white guys curse have you not seen Louis C. K. but maybe they're all from Boston cancel that okay so that how do you because you don't really do that at least what I've seen is curry I cuss Amac I'm I don't have to cuss it all depends on the room you're in you kind of read the room But I have no problem fucking cussing Eh really does if your job if the bit depends on cuss word then then it's probably not a really strong bit to begin with right right okay but I mean you notice that too I like that kind of humor where it's really you know you're not cussing a lot I don't kind of humor in that the white guys who curse well I like all white I like clean black and there are plenty of those as well true but the guys and your point you've made me look sufficiently like a racist Oh with regard the cussing it's a big difference between saying can we say bad words on the yeah there's a difference between saying and talking about walking there's two as during Oh shit I stuck my toe to I'm taking ship those are two completely different things I am more of a Otit type again I'm not a a good explanation context exactly saying the being the police do you feel that you're being controlled or monitored too much or a great question of that seems to be a lot of comics are talking about right now the big name guys I think aren't as affected get away with it yeah they're so talented and so good at their craft they're able to to weave around it and still still do the hardcore thoughtful stop just watch Dave Chapelle special have you seen that it was so good yeah I started it wasn't he it was very funny I thought it was fantastic he's been out on further out on the edge that I just in this day the way he weaved in and out of the topics of today thought was was brilliant and Hilarious transgendered car the way he we've that let me complain Dave Chapelle you women women should have been in that car because women are also usually doing activism with those people are now she's complaining the transducer get the biggest I mean he would I mean you could argue he's like one of the biggest names in common absolutely and I saw him in an interview and he talked about that exact subject and now he thought it was just awful the way that the pressure to not to have to be politically correct makes it less fun in his opinion the I heard it from him especially on college campuses because he I didn't realize I mean I thought Jerry's I felt that a college thing whenever am talk he talk specifically about that. I thought that was very interesting won't go to colleges either not anymore that was in the eighties when I really started working colleges was was a great fun thing to do they have these college conventions and you would go and you would get booked to all these different colleges and you could really make some money and the colleges were fun because they were you know you would think there was a little bit of a Frat boy humor there was there was a party element and then at one point I want I want to say a early nineties it got really start to make any type of racial reference at all even reference not even being racist but racial reference and they would just clam up and complain and so and that that snowballed you know somebody I never liked Andrew dice clay oh I didn't think he was funny I liked his Hickory Vickery doc thing that was come on you did I of all people you would have thought that was very funny I just that I didn't like his humor but change the channel don't listen to him.

"So I, I've read, I read the one more article, I guess on on that includes that information and that is, I guess, you know, Capri. What do you think you've gone after a few rebranding 's in your day? I have. Yeah. Yeah. So does his past though Chris hill test? Well. Well, I mean, let's be clear the, it's in general. It's been a good indicator in some ways. It's been a buy signal if I attack a rebranding, because there have been companies that have rebranded, and I've ranted like this either a stupid name or this isn't going to work, and it turns out that was the time to buy. So let me put it this way. Capri holdings makes more sense to me than trunk drunk or oath tapestry tapestry. I'd say that's a slightly above tapestry. Yeah, good. There's nothing wrong with Capri holdings. No, I think that's that's going to work at finding as you say it one. They do rebrand like that it communicates, I think to the employees of the acquired brand, or you know, future acquired brands that they are not taking a backseat to the name, the name brand, and that that is, I think, what what will mostly be achieved by naming the company? Something else rather. Than keeping the Michael Kors name, you know into basically just the name of the company and the stock, it'll have new ticker symbol, I'm sure. And you know, I, I would look for additional France to be acquired. Let's move to the second acquisition of the day. And that is inspire brands, which is the parent company of arby's Buffalo Wild.
