"Know, they're going to take care of you. So at the end of the day, for all those reasons, I want to see better be of in vivo. You know, I don't want to see a guy who lost so convincingly, get another shot added he didn't earn it and get another shot at it when other fighters should get that shot. And another shot again with the system. The system, not the fighters. Another shot to beat the system where the judges could just screw people. What do you think about that, my man? I think you're a 100% right. I wouldn't take that fight if I were people. Well, sorry, let me back up. The only reason you have to take it is the money involved. The money is incredible. I get it. How about this though? I think if he gets better, be of any can unify the title to everything he has to do. I mean, if he were to get better, better be having beat him. Aside from moving weight classes, there's no one left there. He's cleaned all the entire division. I think that people would have like one of the greatest pure light heavyweight careers in history if it unifies against better be of a beach and beats Canelo a second time. He's going to have more money than he probably ever planned on having. And there's nothing else really for him to prove short of like changing weight classes, but I don't see he doesn't strike me as that type of guy he seems like he's very confident and comfortable with who he is. Why not better go out go out undefeated on top. You've proved everything and you've got enough money to live forever happily ever after. So that would be an awesome way to go out, but no, I agree, but again, show me a guy that turned down the money. And I'm not saying, I mean, what else would you do? You got to take care of your family. You got to think about the future. You got to secure the future when you can. And so most likely, that's what it's going to be of Canelo's people really want that fight. That'll wind up being that a wind up being a because that wind up being a because of obviously the most simple thing in the world, money. I mean, really the root of all evil, the root of all bad judgments in the world, as money. And listen, I'm not contradicting

"Last round, two of them gave them the 11th and two of them gave them the tenth, and it wasn't the same guy that gave him the tenth and the 11th and the tenth. I mean, Dave Sutherland gave Canelo the tenth rounds. I didn't think that that round was that close. Listen, we had it right. If you watched the fight plan, we had it right. I thought always full transparency. I thought that Canelo had a chance to stop him. I picked Canelo to win, but I said he had a chance, but he did have a chance, but, you know, when you let off the guests like that, obviously you're not going to stop anybody. But we had it. We laid it out right in the fight plan. There was only going to be one winner, but there was two winners. I correct myself because triple T was allowed to leave there a lot of people thought it couldn't happen with his pride intact. His dignity intact as a great champion that he's been. He was able to walk out of there that way. And don't think that it was missed on him because he even I caught him. I watched him. I watched him leave and go into a locker room, and I saw him. He said to somebody with his fingers like this an inch apart, he said, it was so close. It was close. It was called. Hey guys, just want to take a quick pause to give a shout out to today's sponsors. "Too powerful, golovkin at age 40 just didn't have enough left in the tank. But Sergio, we agreed this was a lopsided fight. I officially scored it ten rounds to two. I pulled my media brethren from ringside. They had a ten to 11 one somehow. Two of the judges of Canelo golovkin three had it one 15 one 13, which means if golovkin had won one more round, we would have had another draw, which would have been wild. Incredible. You got the opinion of your writers and your brethren. I got the opinion of former world champions. Mark on Tony barrero, Sean Porter, Daniel Jacobs, Jessica mccaskill. Myself, all of us escorted the same two rounds max for golovkin. I think barrera set three. But either way, three rounds max. How the hell, the Steve weisfeld I considered one of the best judges in boxing, having one 15 one 13. I mean, three, three judges had it that closed one 61 12 and two one 51 13. 16 one 12 is not a choice. That's no, no, that's not a choice. She's one 51 13 is the disgusting one because that means that last round it would have been another draw and can you imagine if we would have had another draw, we would have to see a fourth fight. We got a clear winner tonight. That was Canelo Álvarez. It wasn't the knockout that he wanted or the knockout that everyone expected. But it was a convincing win. It was a convincing when we got the right winter. I don't want to see a fourth fight. I do not want to see triple G at one 68 anymore. I don't even want to see triple G against the elite. If he wants to continue his career and not leave money on the table and fight mandatory challengers, I'm all for it at one 60. But if he was going to take a big fight against Charlotte against or anyone else, I Android at one 60, I just don't see it. I don't want it. Aloft and as a legend, I don't want to go backwards. Dave Moretti, as I look at the official scorecard at one 60 and one 12, that's fine. Steve weisfeld, did you mention one 15 one 13? He scored four of the last 5 rounds for Gennady Golovkin, which to be fair, golovkin did pick up the pace in the second half of this fight. David Sutherland, he scored four of the last 5 rounds for golovkin as well. Those were where the rounds I gave him. I gave him two of the last 5 rounds. I just think it's charitable, really. And that brings me to my point here. I know what you're going to say. Two of the judges. Weisfeld Moretti. They scored Canelo golovkin two. They scored it one 51 13 for Canelo. One of my immediate reactions is because judges are human. Like, does a part of them when they see go off can start to pick it up, just throw that triple jab. You throw them a bone. They don't give them the benefit. They throw them a bone and say, you know what? We didn't get it right. Three years ago, we didn't get it right the first time. We didn't get it right the second time. We finally got to throw triple G a bone, but this was the wrong bone to throw at because this was not the triple G that were accustomed to see in galav kin look every bit of his age. I mean, all right, so let's put aside the judging then and just talk about the fight. Did that go how you expected it to go? Or your reaction to how it went? No, it didn't. I just think galav can look old. He looked like an old fighter. There was no snappiness punch. There was no shotgun jab. He didn't eat the big drama showed in the ride. At any moment, I mean, even when he, when we gave him the rounds, it wasn't like he convincingly beat up Canelo or one of those runs convincingly is just, okay, go out and won that one. Canelo, on the other hand, he will be he was impressive, but he wasn't the canoe we expected. I expect he can now be ripping the body. I expect a canola will be backing them up. Really trying to pulverize golovkin, but obviously there was something there that he had to respect. It wasn't the jab and it wasn't body shots from galav Kim, but it must have been something. Okay, but I can't get off the judging, man. I can not get off the judgment. As long as we're going to have a deeper dive at some point to the judging, because it's got to be fixed. He wisefield, who I have tremendous respect for, you know, I always call him the gold standard in Boston. He's had a tough year. I mean, he gave, he gave the Canelo beeville fight one 15 one 13 for people. That was a lot wider than it should have been. And this flight was tough. David Sutherland, tough card, as well. You could tell from the opening bell gloff can look old, like he did. And we shouldn't be surprised because in the last four years, he has taken largely mid to low level fights. I mean, Sergey Darwin shanko, on paper, not a bad win, but that was derren shanko after he had fought Daniel Jacobs and after Jamal Charlotte. Was that Charlotte as well? So he was a little bit past his prime. Then you move on and he's fighting right out of Murata, who is a middleweight champion, but I think you'd agree the weakest of the middleweight champion title holding out there. Look, and he gave go off in trouble in the first few rounds. He heard golovkin the first round. You just didn't have the talent that Canelo has to do it. So I just thought gloff can look to his credit again. Like 6 round comes around and he starts to pick up the gas. Like he starts throwing. Yeah, 'cause Jonathan banks was getting on him. He's saying basically like, do everything we trained to do. We are prepared for this. You need to get more aggressive. You need to throw the jabs, you need to he was telling them everything you needed to hear, but galactic wasn't doing it because he couldn't pull the trigger anymore. The thing about getting older when you become an older fighter and you know my last fight was at 38. That's when I knew I won and I knew I was done with. Your legs go, but your confidence goes. And I didn't have power, see the thing about power punchers, they can actually fight until the older in their age, but golovkin, even as power wasn't enough. As power wasn't enough, the jab, the shotgun jab that he was so he was murdering people with that jacket. It wasn't there. The body punching Canelo early on. In the first two fights, he was throwing that jab, he was falling off the right hands. He looked a lot like most Canelo opponents who were timid about throwing the right hand because as you know, when you throw it, you expose yourself. And you leave yourself open for counter shots and Canelo was throwing heavy shots, especially in the first half of that fight. On Canelo, do I look great, man? I guess there were some questions about what Camilla would look like after a loss at Dmitri beeville, but back at his natural weight back at a 168 pounds. He looked like the best fighter in the world once again. I wouldn't go that far, man. I would say he looked really, really good. I wouldn't go with great. I wouldn't go with pound for pound number one. I think if you were to stop golovkin, then nobody stops go off again. I'll give you that. I'll give you that, but right now I can't go and say that I was a great performance about Canelo because you thought he won ten rounds the two. Why is that not a great performance? It was a convincing win, but it wasn't the cherry on top. He promised a unified he promised he promised he promised

"If you're not betting with FanDuel, you are doing it incorrectly. We are here in Las Vegas for the big one. Canelo Álvarez, Gennady Golovkin, trilogy completing super middleweight championship undisputed status on the line. This is as big as it gets in boxing right now. And right now, Canelo Álvarez is a big favorite. -5 50, according to FanDuel, Gennady Golovkin plus four ten. I believe Alvarez wins. I know he's coming off a loss to Dmitri beeville, but talking to Canelo this week. It feels like he was more focused for this training camp than he was for beeville wasn't playing as much golf over the last few months and is really locked in on getting a clear win against his longtime rival. So take Canelo Álvarez to win this fight at -5 50, load up on it. He's going to win, I believe it. Now, how he wins. This week can make a little bit of money. Alvarez by decision is minus one ten. That's the bet that I like. A lot of people are saying Canelo Álvarez is going to go for a knockout. Could be the first guy to stop Gennady Golovkin. And maybe he will be. But Gennady Golovkin, even at age 40, has a granite chin and has it's a cliche, but has that heart of a champion. I just don't believe the golovkin is going to get stopped in what could be his final significant fight. So I'm taking kennel to win and I'm taking him to win by points. I think this fight is a little more clear on the scorecards than the previous two fights have been. So canola win Canelo win by points, those are my picks, brought to you by FanDuel. That's it for this week's episode. My thanks to Keith idex for joining the show, as always, subscribe, rate, review this podcast on Apple podcast, Spotify, wherever you download podcasts. And I will see you Saturday night after the fight between Canelo and triple G for a special bonus podcast.

"Right now, working hard, great attention to all the details, and I should say that I feel even better than usual. I feel very calm. I feel comfortable. I don't feel any stress, like sometimes in the past I had when had some something was unknown, something was something that I needed to guess about plus I work with a lot of experts with specialists and their fields and we have a wholesome approach to everything. Listen, it all, you know, it seems to be very, very true. It's on your face. As I said at the beginning of the incentive view, you can see how good you look and just how contentual look and how young you look. I don't know if you found the Alexa for the fountain of youth or not, but I'm gonna jump on a word that you just use details. Details and training. Now, I personally thought that you won the first two fights for Canelo. And two different ways of you went about it. The first one, you went about it like the old gennady, where you pressed the fight, you were the boss. You were the stronger guy in many ways. And the second time you did it differently. You box more. You used it jab. You'd fought more on the outside. And then down a stretch, you mixed in a little pressure, where you had to go get them, you went and got them. For this fight, what is going to be the strategy as much as you can tell is gennady. What is going to be the strategy for the third fight? This isn't going to show up in this particular pandemic. But. We try to extend the visiting workers to more and more. Dealers, the store

"Is obviously, it's a little bit of a focus because the counter the counter and with the right, the right hands over the top. It's not so much of a such a big influence that the whole we had a whole course on it. So therefore, for me, if he got his rhythm like he, like, I want him to. He doubled in that jab pulling back and triple in that job. That's going to stop the counter. So far, now he got to put his hands up and start coming. Because once he once he don't get that counter, once he thinks. But you don't get his way. The job get double, then he got to come with something else. Ken, please. Yeah, teddy touched on earlier about the first two fights in that he thought that triple G, one on both certainly the first, I think most people feel that does it enter your mind at all that you probably have to knock them down several times or out to get this win because I mean, look, Canelo is like the golden goose, right? If triple G's getting towards the end of his career, I think the establishment probably benefits more from Canelo getting a decision and we've seen every indication that that will be the case on any fight that's close with Canelo beeville, beat them almost in every round. They couldn't avoid that one. But is that something you guys think about and consider in the preparation for the fight? Think about all the scenarios about needing like I needed and I got needed to knock out, but when I talked to me and the fighter said one on one I honestly I don't talk about I don't talk you need you have to you have to hide on talk like that. "Canelo Álvarez is the undisputed super middleweight champion of the world on September 17th, he will look to settle a rivalry when he defends all four of his belts against a longtime nemesis. Gennady Golovkin, the unified middleweight champion, these two have fought two terrific fights back in 2017 in 2018 in September, they will look to settle their beef that's a fight that you can watch exclusively on to zone pay per view and Canelo joins me here on the show. I can hello before I ask you about this fight with gennady. It's been nearly ten years since you last lost a fight. How did you feel in the days after your loss of Dmitri beeville? No, of course it is hard to lose for everybody, not just for me. And I'm just sad, sad to my second loss in my career, but it is what it is. Like a man, when you weigh in you celebrate and everything, right? You happy. And you need to accept when you lose and that's it. Move forward and keep going. I think I'm trying all the things different things in boxing and that maybe make me feel good. Make me feel proud of myself because I. Get in there with big challenge for myself because I really don't need to do that kind of things because I'm doing all and in a position I can do whatever I want. But I like that kind of challenge. This time I lost but this is not an end. I'm going to move forward and I'm looking for my next fight and then I'm going to have my other chance. You know, in the ring after the fight when I talk to you, you seem to accept the fact that you lost. Later on, the press conference you sounded like a man that believed he had done enough to win. As you sit here right now, how do you feel about how that fight went? Do you believe that you didn't use it? I think I losing that last round. And I get tired after 6 rounds. It happened a lot of things in my training. Like I say, I don't make excuses. I lost, and that's it. And it is what it is. So I'm very sad for that. But I'm very proud of myself too. And I think I can do about it. You dared to be great in that situation and all fighters should aspire for that. Like I said, when you looking for a greatness, hard things in front of you, right? But I'm going to continue trying and trying and trying again because I'm not afraid to lose..

The Troubling Case of One Parent's Journey in Defending His Child

"Hello everybody to the special episode of the Charlie Kirk show, with us right now is my pastor, rob McCoy. Rob, welcome back. Thanks, buddy. And then joining us remotely is Bryce ceti, the great Bryce, and Bryce, I don't know if you've ever been on our program. So welcome to our not yet. So here we go. Thank you. And Steve Schneider, who is a great American, and we're honored to have all of you guys and kind of talk about something important that is local in our focus, but national in nature. Absolutely. And so however you guys want to take it, rob, do you want to start? And then we can kind of, let me do my best to frame it. And then I know Jason Steve will be able to add all kinds of insight to it. In our community, the kineto unified school districts, there's two newspapers in the Canelo valley where I reside. And as this Bryce and Steve, these two newspapers, one is the guardian, the other, is the acorn. The guardian did a paper, did an article called third grade teacher promotes gender confusion in the classroom. And it was an article writing on behalf of Steve Schneider, who's on the program with us. Who was standing in defense of his third great daughter, who was told by the teacher to now these are the new pronouns of this fellow student in your class, and this is a book I want to read to you on transgender. And then expose the children to a video without parental permission. Steve took issue with at the kineto guardian on his behalf, wrote a very, very clear and concise article, everything and it was true. Good reporting, the acorn, which is a defender of what I would say that California teachers association and the district itself took great offense to it. Then the news channels came out CBS. They did a whole thing on it. And then there was graffiti at that elementary school and they blamed Steve Schneider for it. The police came to his house. He'll tell you more about that. He wasn't even there, so it was crazy.

"He came out and said that PBC offered Canelo Álvarez a $100 million combined for flights against Jamal Charlotte and Errol Spence and effectively said that, you know, in a way praising Eddie Renault, the manager of Canelo for getting the most money for the least risk in this deal that he took with matchroom and with the zone. What would you say to that? Well, firstly, there's absolutely no risk in fighting Jamal Charlotte. Because who on earth has jamel Charlotte ever be at middleweight? Give me one stand out win. You can't even do it on his resume. Right? He may be a very good fighter Charlotte, but his career is moving at a snail's pace. That's number one. Number two is what belt could Canelo Álvarez dethrone from jamel Charlotte in that fight. None. Okay? Now Errol Spence at one what will they want one 64, one 63, whatever it is firstly, Canelo has made it very clear. He doesn't want a box under a 168 pounds. Number two, what fights that for? What belt can he dethrone from aero Spence? Absolutely none. So I don't see that option. No in Canelo Álvarez, that option just gives him such little motivation. Give him a champion, let him move up, let him take a belt, let him go away. That's what he wants. And by the way, maybe there's also something to say for the fact that he wanted to work with us. You know, we had three fights with him. We unfortunately were blocked from making the undisputed fire. And he had to go and have a fight on PBC. They did everything they could to keep him, and he chose to come back to matrimony zone. So there's many different reasons that he chose not to take that fight. But give him a champion. That's what he wants. You know, he doesn't want to have voluntary defenses. He wants to fight champions that he can take belts off. And this Saturday is a very good example of where he can go up and be potentially the best light heavyweight in the world. And take another huge piece of that division and set himself up potentially with the winner of better be ever against Joe Smith, which would be an incredible undisputed fight..

"So Canelo, you just kind of keep jumping from training camp to training camp. Big fight to big fight. I wonder, do you have any tricks for kind of staying motivated to keep things fresh so you are as sharp as you need to be? I love boxing. I love what I do. So this is part of my life. I don't come to the gym. Oh, I need to train because I have a big fight. No, this is part of my life. Is it ever difficult for you to find motivation to kind of get up and come to the gym and work? This kind of fight, this kind of challenge make me motivate myself. So this kind of fights big fights like this make me feel motivated. Is it the same kind of motivation you had ten years ago when you were younger and coming up? Maybe more. Maybe even more. Why more? Even more, because I'm here, what I want to be, right? When I was young, so I want to still be in this level, be the best fighter. So maybe more and more right now. Do you think if you didn't have a big time opponent that you wouldn't be able to get as motivated that you kind of need somebody that's dangerous like a bee bowl or a plant or whoever? Yes, I think so. Yes. If now, I'm going to fight like, okay, fire it, but no, I don't feel like that is a big challenge for me. So that's why I keep firing with this kind of virus.

"Social media coverage are willingness to cover the entire sport, which no one else does in boxing. We serve boxing fans really, really well. We've been, I think, very, very good value for a long time. We're going to continue being very good value. And I think ultimately, I'm confident having, I know this business inside out, I'm confident we're making the right decision. Do you have a target or a max number of pay per views in your mind for a calendar year? I think that's what gets because as you well know, boxing has become kind of saturated with pay per views where it's almost monthly that people are being asked to shell out an extra $75 or whatever it is. Do you in your mind have a max number that it will go to? We're not going to use it regularly. We're going to use it sparingly. We're going to use it far less than other people in the market. Use it. I'm not going to name names or point to fights, but there have been lots of fights recently and you know the fights I'm referring to that in my mind should never be pay per views. And I think the reported numbers that you get released by various places online and by chatter in the industry reflect the fact they're not seen by consumers as interesting pay per view nights. We're going to use it sparingly and where we have to use it. You're not going to see it be a month month to month pay per view culture on the zone. I can assure you the senior most senior levels of our business are bored when we are talking about our boxing business. They are very, very clear that the value to our business longer term is in growing that subscription base who have been loyal to us, who have been good to us. We've been good to them. We've served them with tremendous value. They've stuck around in increasing numbers, the length of time they stay on our platform and subscribers is longer and longer every year. We've got to know them better. They've got to know us better. And their relationship stronger and stronger. Our business and our board are absolutely clear that if we play with that group too much or at all, we lose them. And we're not going to do that. And it will ultimately be reflecting our pay per view decision making. It will be sparingly not regularly. You've been in the Canelo Álvarez business since 2018 beginning with the rocky fielding fight. Do you believe that you could have stayed in the Canelo business with this two fight deal without the use of pay per view? No. I don't. And that's reflection of, by the way, Canelo's popularity and his growing stardom, because the market for his rights is far more competitive than it was a couple of years ago. Good for him. He's an incredible fighter. He's an.

Bebo has that ring general. You have to do a power. Should apologize. That was a power and engagement. That was aggression and a power job. But yes, the jab was the main thing in that first fight especially. But it was power. It was and it was standing in the ring and trading. Like the covalent fight, it was close, but I think COVID was going to win because he just kept flicking that job. There was nothing behind it. You know, we took a lot of big right hand, but it never threw it. We took a lot of heat for that COVID Canelo fi because we didn't give enough credit to covalent. But we saw that jab. It wasn't a penetrating jab. He wasn't trying to hurt. He was patting the front of his gloves. And if you're watching that on television, maybe you're thinking, okay, while that cat jabs keeping him at bay, but it wasn't doing nothing. It wasn't hurting Canelo Canelo was closing the distance with his lower body getting closer and closer, and we know why. We knew that he was confident that he was going to get to him. No, you need a smart jab. Caleb Plant had a smart jet, but he didn't have the experience to do anything else. I think plant had a good game plan. You just didn't have the experience. Maui does. Now we can come back and have, you know, he can go through the fire, but you need that experience. And with beeville, I think that Joe Smith junior gave him the experience that he needed because he knows he's one punch away from getting rocked. You gotta throw right hands, though, at some point. None of the opponents can not face since golovkin of thrown right hands. Like whether it's covalent, Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders of the old room doesn't really count. He was Canelo is so explosive and you saw what happened when you do commit to a right hand. The more you commit to power, the more vulnerable you are to power, and that's the reason people are timid or at least Leary to throw right hands against Canelo because if you fall off balance or miss the target, it's a good night. You know what I love about what Canelo did after announcing this fight? As he came out and without naming names, he said to Jamal Charlotte to Demetrius Andrade. Fight each other. Fight each other. Fight. You want me? Go through each other. You know what? They now have. I'm very curious to see.

"And I don't know that if you're the zone and Eddie, you know, you're dangling moving back up to light heavyweight to fight bivalve as the fight to come back to the zone, which is a real fight. It's a good fight. It's an interesting fight. It involves not a huge light heavyweight, not as nearly as big of a puncher as our tour better beev. So the fight would make sense for Canelo. I just don't know that the way the zone is going about its business now. And they're supposed to spending a lot of money, but they're not spending the way that they once did. Could you justify trying to pay him 35 to $40 million to compete with what he would make for fighting Charlotte to just for a temporary public relations win? Because he's not going to sign a multi deal with anyone anymore. He's just going to go from fight to fight because he has the leverage to do that. And he's going to and I don't blame him. He's going to get every penny out of it that he that he can. He's the biggest star in a sport he should. Yeah, so I think we're trending towards Charlotte too. I think one thing I've heard from talking to people around all this is that it will be interesting to see if Al Heyman PBC is willing to do another one fight deal with Canelo, because that would mean that they've essentially served up two of their best fighters at that weight class for one fight type of deals. Everybody wants to make a long-term commitment with Canelo. Canal just doesn't want to do it. And so I guess I'll be interested to see if PBC is willing to put up the, I'm just 40, 45 million total 50 million total, whatever it may be to get a Canelo charlo fight made for a one fight deal with no guarantee of what Canelo is going to do in September. Because Keith, if you fight charlo in.

"I'm not gonna go down this rabbit hole. We don't have enough time. I'm so not here for jamaal charles calling out gluskin not win. He's not going to fight again. This year seem like and. I'm headed to fucking manchester to see dimitrius android and j quigley like i mean like the until those get in the ring. I don't want to hear about the fighting. Anybody else. I don't i don't i want to invite each other so like what does go often do if he wins. Like where's the big money. Fight out there for him if he beats mirada where he goes. And i don't know what the bigger fight is for canelo other than a third fight with gha laughing because bebo would give him a light heavyweight title charro. I don't know what it would give him. He was not going back middleweights. It doesn't care about that belt just to me. Goffin is is the guy different out. It's the biggest fight commercially. It's the biggest fight. I don't think there's any question about that but again it just relates to how much money both fighters were want and whether it would be worthwhile for disowned to pay that to to finally outfight come together. Yeah i'm this. I just previewed post post by call him like have the first graph cleared for ending the fight. Don't don't even don't even get on. The flight. just brighten ever ready to go. I love. "Draw a line somewhere right. I mean but some people. Don't look. I'm gonna i'm gonna pay my eighty bucks. I'm going to steal it. Or however they're consuming the fights and they don't really care what these guys are doing now again if someone's running around beating up women and raping women and you don't care well there's something fundamentally wrong with you but i do think that there is a certain segment of the boxing public and the public at large that views. It that way. Yeah i think. That's that's true. And i think it can also be said for some people in boxing. Remember mike tyson was released from prison. Don king was waiting for him and he was ready to cash in on them as soon as he got out of jail from serving time for rape impossible to seamlessly transition from matt conversation. But let's talk about the fight. We have coming up this weekend. Between canelo alvarez an kayla plant cannella holds three pieces of hundred and sixty eight pound title kayla. Plant has the last one. There's been some bad blood between these two guys keith. Where kayla plant has dug up the old allegations from three years ago of cannella alvarez using performance enhancing drugs if we all recall before the second galactic and fight tested positive for clenbuterol a banned substance. He claimed it was tainted meat. Go off to went after him. Pretty good in abel sanchez went after him. Pretty good in the build up to that fight can seem to take it out on gough. Get in that fight. That was probably one of if not the best performance that we've seen from low alvarez given the caliber of the opponent that was in front of him kayla plant kind of poke in that bear again. What are you. let's start there. What do you make of kayla plants. Kind of bringing this stuff. Back up again bringing it to the forefront do you think he's a true believer in what he's saying or might there be some strategy there to kind of take out of his game. I think it's a combination of both chris. I think maybe he believes that canelo is a dirty fighter but also he's trying to piskun mellow off and get him off of his game a little bit. I dunno what he said kello on the stage back in september but whatever it was it made cannella lose his cool now says it's because he called his call them a mother effort and he took that the meeting was talking about. Don't you think don't you think he's like i watched that show time. I don't think he said anything on that. Stage besides the usual kind of back and forth. I think when rage cannella was the stuff before that when the oscar does thing happened in kayla plant linked into camello and eddie renault so i think he was already got at boiling point before he stepped on that stage which might speak to now. I don't think it's going to really matter on saturday. Because i frankly don't think that kayla plant is good enough to be canelo alvarez but but it might speak to him getting into canals head and making cannella loose cool. We were with cannella implant yesterday. After the grand arrivals a small group of us got each of them downstairs at mgm grand garden arena and we spoke to them about the the press conference melee and all that and Eddie rain also and canelo alvarez said he's you know he's kind of like he's unflappable when he can't get in his head and.

Jon Gruden: No regrets on Khalil Mack trade despite 0-2 start

"Will start with you. Are you okay with Gruden start to the season as a coach? Yeah, as a guy who's running the franchise, I wouldn't have traded Khalil Mack for what he got, but as a coach, yes, because they are the reason you trade Khalil Mack by four, their best player. And that includes Derek Carr is an all time. Great hall of Famer. I believe in his prime right now, the reason to do that is because you look at your roster when you get there and you go, we're not close. This is not going to help us put over. We have too many holes, so we need to build for the future. So the question is, if you're not that talented compared to the two other teams, what do you do against them? Do you have an effort? This is something I brought up with Todd Bowles last year. The jets coach would even though the jets did never good record. When I saw the jets play said, you know what? They got a coach. He has his guys playing hard every game competing every game and what I've seen from the raiders. Yes, they were dispirited by the second part of the first game against the Rams. 'cause the Rams I believe, gonna win the Super Bowl this year. I think they're the most talented team in football. The boy. He had them close in the first half and against the Broncos were not the row. Rams, but still not a bad team that team went down to the wire. So Gruden has them playing hard playing over their heads that bodes well for the future when he gets more talent. So no. So far as a coach, Steven a.
