The one thing you're not going to hear about is actually the most important thing in this game. The crowd. I'm not just saying that because I'm a Raiders fan, and I'm not just saying that because I'm from Vegas. We've seen proof of concept and over the weekend go back to North Carolina taken on Virginia Tech. I sincerely believe one of the biggest differences in that game last week was understand man playing as the crowd went nuts. Think about the some of the most incredible moments we've seen. Camp Randall Stadium jump around didn't result in a win, but still that momentum that energy We have as a collective Community. No idea what NFL energy looks like. In Vegas, none. I don't know if you saw this, but even Derek Carr Talk to the media to say. Hey, guys, remember when we have the ball? We need you to be quiet. Think about that. Vegas has not had an NFL team. And we just take that for granted. In fact, Vegas hasn't really had a relevant college football team. Sorry, UNLV. I want you all to be relevant. I do. I do. But we've seen what Vegas crowds can be like when I was a kid that UNLV crowds around Stacy Augmon and Larry Johnson at the Thomas and Mack Center for the Running rebels epic. We've seen over the last couple of years with the Golden Knights can look like when they get on a run right? Those crowds fire A lot of people have speculated ever since the move was announced that the team was going to go to Vegas. You have Oakland diehards who I respect the hell out of that have come out and said, Well, you know, it's all going to be casino people, and I'll go back to my music days. Nothing is worse than playing a casino show in Las Vegas. As a kid from Las Vegas. Nothing is worse. Nobody's from their most of it's a bunch of V I. P s that don't know your music. They sit in the 1st 34 rows with their arms crossed, unimpressed by everything. Is there going to be that that group? Yeah, For sure there is. There's going to be people in sweets that we're giving. You know the seven diamonds in sweets that were given free tickets that are going to be engaged in the game. We know that But I also know this. I know that I tried to buy season tickets. I attempted to buy tickets to the Raiders game. And by the time they got to me, and I put my reservation down the day the tickets were announced to go on sale. By the time they got to me, there were only single seats left. So for everybody that thinks that that crowd is not going to be height. I think you're wrong. But I think it's one of the most interesting things about this team coming into the year that we absolutely can't anticipate. What's the Vegas crowd? Sound like? What are the acoustics? Like? I've heard the acoustics for concerts. Not so great in that in the desk start, but in the Legion stadium. What are the acoustics like? You know, when you go to Kansas City what to expect from Arrowhead? You know what to expect from mile high. You know what to expect in all the wrong ways at this point from Sofi Stadium, Right? You know what you expect Soldier Field. You know what? The respective Foxboro You have no idea what to expect in Vegas. You have no idea what that home crowd is going to be like, and what we don't know is the end zone club. Is it going to make it a better party atmosphere? Or is it going to make it a less engaged atmosphere? Are eventually away fans going to use this as the game they have to come to. Maybe, but for right now, the story on Tuesday morning, I think is going to be about the electric energy coming from a stadium in the city. That's never had NFL football before. And for all of the relocations we've seen You know when you start talking about teams going into markets and you talk about the Chargers and the Rams You talk about even prior to that relocation to ST Louis. All of those places have had football before. When you're talking about no NFL football, you gotta go all the way back to the Jacksonville's of the world to the Nashville's. It's been a long time.

Exactly, But I think the second more practical reason would be. There are other big 10 games going on throughout the day, the biggest of which Ohio State is hosting Oregon. At 11 A.m., which is equally puzzling to me, because that means the Oregon kids are basically basically going to play that game at nine a.m. their time right, like they're just going to stand from Friday night. Very bizarre, so I would pick Ohio State in the points in that one, because I just you know, I knew that with NFL games to whenever you see a West Coast team playing a noon game on the East Coast They always seem to come out sluggish for some reason, So that's that's I think the reason they may have kicked back to kick off for this badger game by 48 at Wtmj is.

Yeah, just virtual middle fingers to the world. You know, I like people who people who said We'd never be able to get along and coexist and all the with that audible story. You know, It's a, uh Quiet on that front, Isn't it? Aaron Rodgers, right in his comfort zone, handing out virtual middle fingers NFL kickoff his Thursday the Dallas Cowboys traveled to Tampa to face the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Um, there's some big individual years. You know that Dawson Knox is the guy at tight end. They didn't go sign a big free agent. They didn't draft anybody. I think people are expecting some bigger things from Ed Oliver this season, So it's nice that, you know. Yeah, you're really going into the season. It's a pretty short list, you know, and I mean, you know if Mackenzie has the return job, and he didn't have it, Andre Robertson was a return. But we've seen Isaiah McKenzie have ability when it comes to return the ball, so he's not completely new to that spot. It's a very, very short list. The fans are jump in the students. The regular fans. The band is jumping the players on the Wisconsin sideline are jumping. The press box was shaking at the top of Camp Randall Stadium. I I had no idea it was coming. I got to tell you that's one of the coolest things I've ever experienced in my entire sports life, so watching it on We have been Saturday, the weekend and a long weekend. I'm confused of what they was. What, Um so watching it on Saturday. They come back from commercial break early so early, in fact, that they're panning the crowd as they're doing one of those promotional races about like which boss wins, So the section gets tacos or something, you know, So they had that for love it. And then They're paying in the crowd for that opening note of jump around a hit and it hits and everybody goes crazy and I start to tear up, Do you? Yeah, I'm like I'm getting. It's another sign. You're getting old. I'm getting emotional. Well, I mean, if watching Crowds coming back is powerful the biotech game the other night, some of the shots of the crowd. Just Yeah. Sea of orange was amazing to see all the way down to this was the furthest last F one race was the first one I'd seen with a full crowd of fans, and they would Cheer qualifying and you had roar of crowds, so whether it's Premier league last couple weeks or if it's college football this last weekend, every time I see a big crowd, I I get like a little bit choked up and think I can't even imagine what it's going to be like. "N I wouldn't time now for our feel better segment because good news matters. Mindy Drayer. Now you have to So lets book end this. You do one of yours first, and then I'll go in the middle. Okay, So do you remember the story that I promised? All of you are regular listeners, and I was going to follow Bill more. Um Boren, 87 year old football coach coaches hired in Vienna, Ohio, at Matthew's High school. They just hired him after two and eight season took this job is an 87 year old. Well, he's now too, And Oh, no, they didn't play last week, but they played this past Friday and they paid played three Fridays before. So now they're too and, oh, that means he's three. Games away from his career 300 win as an 87 year old high school football coach. Three games three games away has 300 yet how many I should know this, but I don't guys it's been a while since I like cheered or palmed. How many games do you play in a sense and tenderly 10 of them playoffs? Okay, so I was undefeated. They were two and eight last year. He already has two wins. 87 year old. I told everybody I was going to follow this high school story, and I love that. It's in Ohio. So we're gonna keep you go, Coach Bill, you got one more. Two more. Three more to go. I love it. I love it. A great story, and I can you imagine being in the locker room? I just want to say this whenever kind of pep talk he gives to it like during halftime. Hey, whatever he's doing, it's working. It's working. It's wherever he wants to coach them Freshman. He's got a great class. He wants to coach them through their senior year. Yeah, you said that he's 87 87 years old. Well, mind comes. It's a 57 year old father of three young guys from the Atlanta areas in Brant Barber, and so he shared this post where he and his sons they've been going to D Q. Once a week for dinner. Like being since the boys were like junior high age, So you know, one went away to the University of Georgia. So then there were only two with him, and now he's to the point where he's by himself. Everyone is away at school and his post went viral. Of course, it of him sitting at the local D. Q. He looks so lonely in that picture dies and he said, And then there was one D Q was never really a thing. Spending time driving to and from And talking, listening to their music and watching all of them interact his brothers now that was the thing. Maybe I'll get by here every now and then, and certainly when they're all home, but with them not here, it's just ice cream. That post has been shared more than 5000 times. So for him for just a guy, you know, in Atlanta suburb that's viral, and I thought it was a really good story says a lot about Dad. He's got a lot more friends now.
