"camille clemens" Discussed on Daily Sales Tips

"You're listening to the daily sales tips. Podcast I'm your host Scott Ingram today. Camille Clemens is back with this tip. Today's theme is team with sub-themes of trust and respect we were recently watching a replay of. I can't tell you why during the coverage of the eagles a band that may or may not be known by you an access. Tv You may not be familiar with the eagles. And if you're not I recommend you look them up. I do feel compelled though to discuss the importance of team and the underlying existence of trust and respect co lead singer and frontman. Glenn Fry was an unequivocal master. The same could be said for Don Henley unequivocally Joe Walsh and Tim Schmidt were active participants in the evolution and ultimate success of the Eagles one. Essential Element is required for so many to thrive simultaneously that one thing is respect. Every member had their strength. Every member had their quirk. But that didn't matter because together. They were the eagles. Every team has a magician. Star a nerd if you can find your way of harmonizing and leveraging all the strengths for the good of the deal and then celebrating the team success you will undoubtedly be stronger. That is trust. The value of a team member. Having success cannot be understated when given the chance rise to the occasion. Take your moment trusted. Everyone has something to offer but you have to be willing to step out and do it to know whether or not it will work. This theme to quotes come to mind. One is be you everyone else taken. And what's the worst that could happen throwing on the saxophone every now and then can't hurt right whether we're talking about your internal team in helping someone along.

"camille clemens" Discussed on Daily Sales Tips

"You're listening to the daily sales tips. Podcast I'm your host Scott Ingram today. Let's talk about expectations and know that sometimes these tips are for you and other times there actually for me and I hope that they help you to a couple of weeks ago. Somebody suggested to me that we all need to just dial back our expectations a bit and be more patient with everyone that we're interacting with at this point. Everybody is dealing with a lot and there's probably even more than you know going on behind the scenes. They said that if we expect that there may be sixty to seventy percent as effective as they are normally that will probably be about right and help us to be more patient and understanding. That advice has been really useful to me but more recently. I've started to realize that I probably need to apply that same level of forgiveness to myself. This might seem totally contrary to what you would expect of me and I think the problem has been that. It's totally contrary to what I expect of myself. I probably like you have extraordinarily high expectations of myself. What I'm realizing though is that this whole situation is just really tough lately. I've really been struggling with the fact that I've been struggling and it feels wrong to feel like you're a little bit off your game when others are being taken completely out of the game either. Because they're fighting for their lives or they've been laid off and maybe they're even worried about how they're going to feed their own families in comparison to many of the extremes that we're seeing my issues are virtually meaningless but that doesn't mean that they're not real in that they don't matter mindset is such a core of success and managing your mindset and maintaining focus and staying positive just takes way more effort right now than it usually does. Lisa does for me so I've started to try to be a little bit more forgiving of myself to apply that sixty to seventy percent effectiveness framework. And be all right with that took. Let's be real. I'm an overachiever. I think I'm willing to tolerate. Maybe eighty percent effectiveness and still be okay with it but the point is that we need to just be more patient with those around us and we also need to cut ourselves a little more slack and be a bit more mindful of what we're really going through just working on this tip has been really helpful for me. I hope it's also helpful for you and don't be a stranger. This community continues to matter more and more. Let's help each other through. Keep those amazing tips coming and shout out to Camille Clemens. Who's tip? I was going to share today but it prompted all of this so I'll let you give a listen to that tomorrow. It's short and sweet but super powerful. I'll talk to you then. Thanks so much for listening..

"camille clemens" Discussed on Daily Sales Tips

"<music> you're listening to the daily sales tips podcast. I'm your host scott ingram as we kick off another week. This felt like the perfect tip to share a tip from my friend camille clemens who was the star of episode thirty six on the sales success stories podcast here. She is today's the day why you ask well. Why not i've been telling scott for over two hundred episodes that i would send him. One of my thoughts and i never quite got around onto it. Why too busy lame nothing to say you're right. I don't have the right equipment please. The list could go on except today. I decided to stop the nonsense in say why not we're all in sales. How many times have you chosen. Listen not to pick up. The phone are not to press send and that email too often and i'm guilty of the semi career as well. We've put affect that aren't fully prepared. We say <hes> if i just had one more piece of information or one other angle on that new regulation then i would be fully prepared. Forget it. You're never going to be fully prepared. What if you call and they don't answer what if you draft the best email in the history of emails and it bounces then what i guess back into the cycle it goes this could go on and on and you could spend your entire career quote unquote preparing and never really get to the big game. I'm gonna pull a page from a friend of mine jeff noel who says eighty he says eighty percent of the information is all i need the rest will come. It will sort itself out and if you get to one hundred percent. It's never going to be the all right one hundred percent in the first place or take it a step further and adapt elon musk's seventy percent requirement doesn't matter the point is don't wait until you feel like you're fully prepared that day may never come make today the day and go out and be great. So what are you going need to stop putting off today. You're probably not ready but that's okay. What are you going to do anyway. Join the conversation at daily sales dot tips forward slash asked to twelve. That's also where you'll find links to my full conversation with camille and be sure to check out the sales success stories book as well if you haven't already where you'll find three remorse stories from camille.
