"It's mill of nowhere. It is truly middle. It is crazy because it's like there's a big college here. And it's a big college town, but then like twenty feet outside of that college town. It is just woods he'll country, real Florida. No joke stuffy here in the newspaper about Florida reading the newspaper about Florida. That's it's going to happen around here. Latch county. It's what latch ya. Oh, yeah. That's say you understand you're in the middle of nowhere. You're driving along. I seventy five going north in like nothing. Nothing nothing. And then you're going across this thing that looks like a dried lake bed, right? Yes. Driving a treeline very very large tree line on the perimeter of this thing, and it was actually a lake back in the day. A large large lake where a sinkhole opened up and drained so rapidly the lake drain so rapidly that a ship that boats got caught in the middle of the lake and so it was like legend in the middle of this dried lake bed there were just kind of boat sitting there and now you drive across going to Gainesville. That's how you know. You're almost a Gainesville is like there's the weird drag my Georgia versus Florida jokes, so easy when you. Just make a platter. Like, I would always be freaked out that we were driving on this because it's like, but the ground opened up and swallowed the lake like that's like that's a kid. You're like wait that can happen. The cool thing is though is you can go out to the middle of that reserve, and there's a big boardwalk, and you could see like wild horses running around and stuff. It's become this really quiet area like wild pretty neat. So it's pretty cool. Upgrade to Gainesville. You should just go there. A lot more maybe pizza here. So you know, we're gonna make it. And it's not Georgia like smelled that place. Hang back. Hang back fully to Jordan people who've been Georgia is a terrible, stinky state, respectfully, I grew up there. And it's only the bottom half smells, terrible. But that's the other thing the same road trip as a kid, you know, when you hit Georgia because the poop smell. My mom would say it's the paper mills. And I'm going that just poop factories. I don't know. Georgia paper. Smells, like that's the thing about paper factories, isn't it because that doesn't smell anything like paper. No terrible. It's like Georgia. What you hit making? What You come you come above above? NAT line. You're gonna have a real different experience with the net line the net line. That's. Saying it again. Below this point and the map like there's a bunch of NATs in the air above it. Oh, you're down is is below the net line. You're going to be outside covered in nets nine months out of the year. We're playing they were playing state for state here. But like, you know, that like in south Florida, there's like Miami and beaches, there's like no NAT line, anywhere. It's like a lowest. Like, we don't have the differences. Y'all have NATs everywhere are NAT stop it making. And they don't make it up to Nashville. I don't think you've been to Florida, but. On the net line is a real thing. When you drive passing that line, the smell changes. Are they connected. I can't be sure. But there's way less NATs north of making well you've sold. No one. Alienated every friend at half of my family. Created any change in the world. Forget today. Snow? A Florida Georgia line, but they're here Nashville. They're also kind of a problem..

"So I mean, we totally do that. If we go if I go speak at church, and there's something I think the need to be original can could actually rob from doing something. That's great. Hello. So if someone is doing something that's genuinely innovative and groundbreaking. But you have this need to be like, no, we only do things that are for example. One of our worship leader said, you know, we we should say more of our songs unless hill song songs, and we do seeing some originals, and we do see a lot of he'll song songs. Ovation psalms Jesus culture. And I said, look I'd be the happiest person in the world to our center. Let's right cornerstone or oceans or so ally, and then we'll put it in psalm four in the meantime, we'll do our song to and then right before that we going we're going to bring up with the best song in. And it doesn't matter. Who's it is, you know, it's vision be nepotism for ideas. It's point. I is this this thing twelve years in you're going multi site, and it's still Wyoming Montana. But it's still mainly like a lot of small towns. Do you feel called the like the rural and smaller? I mean, the guy like Karl he was in Virginia Beach all the New York like it's like almost like that's the main stage. That's where we can influence culture that kind of thing, and you're gonna spreading out into the areas. Where like nobody else is. So yeah, I mean, we feel we've got to five years that was our commitment to God. We said we'll give you five years Montana. Like, if it's not working, we're not just going to continue to beat. You know, even Paul had the sense to say, hey, maybe we should go to. Europe, you know, so the five year Mark we had seen three thousand commitments to Christ. And that was kind of symbolic number because of what happened on the day of Pentecost. And so my wife, and I like literally like at the five year birthday. We had our three thousand commitment to Christ. We were like, that's crazy. So obviously God's in it, and we're not going to, you know, go go somewhere else. And at that point our goal became let's get a church in every significant population center inside the state of Montana, which we have now Helena, bozeman billings. Great falls Missoula and whitefish in Cal spell and sticking with the pretty parts of the state. Well, Butte were weren't great falls. I mean, there's parts of the state that are not as highly sought after by the tourists. We shall say. I mean, what do you know of beat Montana nothing? I've literally been to billings and down to the big. Crow reservation yet an hour south literally right right to other than family vacation one time. I think we're going to Yellowstone we're gonna clip the corner or something. Yeah..

"It's about experiences in Relations Board games. Can we start their community? Why not they're so fun? Nothing. Like, do you really feel that way? This is a hot take. Because I hey board games. Really? It's the right one. It's not like a general. I like them all. But if it's the right board game time with what do you have any friends of ours? That kind of like ones that last those it has been near the last Sipa wind has been drunk. They're like what are we gonna play? And I'm like, no, we're still talking. We're still here. I don't think and I get y'all. This will not surprise any of you. Because, you know, very, well, I get so competitive hate the way it makes me feel. So we lost it guess jurors last week. And I was like, you know, what I need to go home. Anyway. Tired? Board games. Because in a sense, you feel like you like you love them too much like you. So it was easier to absences easier just like gonna play otherwise it's going to go downhill, all or nothing all or nothing. Yeah. I just it just it didn't find with competitive just when I just don't like him. So this whole thing you lost me on. There's a new board game. I'm like not there at any of that. Really? That's so interesting. I don't really play like if we're all eating dinner together sometime, and the thing y'all wanna do is that I'll do it. I'm not gonna Li literally not gonna leave over it. Except when I'm tired. Amc gonna leave. I like if it's the right board game. I like I don't like one that's so strategic that nobody can hang like, you're just sometimes I feel that way about like settlers of Catan, which is a really fun game. But it's so intense that people sort of sometimes like don't talk I like the board game. That's right in between that someone on the evening. Everybody can get around the table, and you're still like laughing and telling jokes and being silly. But at the same time, you kind of have it kinda have something to do. And it's sort of like it fills in those in between moments where all this like. Yeah. And then this is. Monopoly is not that game monopoly. Requires monopoly isn't like context. Monopoly is now finning now. Well evening, it's the whole day setting. Oh, yeah. I three this citing fighting a role differentiation out over Christmas probably gonna bust out the millennial monopoly because they.

I I had a question. I did this inspired acquire. I'm just curious because listeners on the big fan of books and Stanley is an important part of that his death. Ninety five years is a good run. His let me that pretty hard. I was like emotionally moved by. What's the what's the celebrity death that that like rocked you most when you heard about it? Well, I mean for me, it was I was young, but it was Kirk obain like even my favorite band. I was like definitely the perfect age to be like sure broken into the world of real music and real angst by nirvana. And I like came home from school and watched Kurt loader announce it on MTV news, and was really really very sad as an older person. I would say I was really sad about George Harrison dying that one made me really. Dead. He's dead. Cancer. For me. It was biggie in the midnight. Yeah. Probably the same this year at the right age for it. Yeah. For me. It was Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter. No kidding. I'm gonna love that. I loved him. And I just thought I'd always wanted to go to Australia and go to the zoo. And I thought he was awesome. He just thought it was awesome. Made me really really sad..

"Brought on by the headquarters, we'll do just as much work to tackle the city's affordability crisis. I don't exactly understand that. But sometimes the metaphor. It's kind of like somebody wrote a short story about a giant company move into town, and they took away all the affordable housing that was planned. The you're writing coach would send back like. This is a little on the nose, man. This this. This literally is the plot to break into electric Bogu. Developer was going to take they're going to build a big development in the art center, and they had to do a break dancing. The rally the community to save it from the big evil developer coming into the neighborhood. Yeah. That's that's what's going to happen. Did you guys? See you saw the S and L thing last week. Yeah. I did it. I didn't know all that Trump versus basis stuff. I've haven't paid attention to that as well as I should have. I guess interesting. So it was for people who didn't see it. It was a they did a prerecorded skit on us and L in which Steve Carell as Jeff Bezos was setting up these new Amazon H Q two in New York City in Washington DC as kind of a a little dig at Donald Trump because they have very famously have a a rivalry. And I feel like there was a little bit of FanFest going on there. I don't know how much Jeff Bezos actually thinks about the president other than the fact that we all kind of think about the president all the time now in this country. But I don't know if he's like, I don't know if the New York and Washington DC headquarters were designed as a like a little punked situation for the president that seems like a stretch he bought the Washington Post and the Washington Post is one of the more critical newspapers covering this administration. And so I think that's part of his hatred. Obviously, the fact that he's way more successful as a businessman than Trump. You know, there's more successful than anybody is. Anybody? Donald trump. We're all we're all jealous biff babies. Hey in case, you missed it this week, the six original avengers wrote, a tribute to stay in Lee, as you know, the comics legend died last week at age ninety five the STAN was.

"If she goes to Loch Ness at midnight on Halloween and lights, four candles bend, the pass to do what she says. Yeah. I mean, I mean according to your her tradition, there are druid k. underwater cave dwellers that will be cell. Right. During the harvest. The problem is all of our friends. Ulysses gonna start beating graphics hate after this. With their spare this. I'm not going to enjoy with with what we know about. I mean, we can see through mountains now we can see into anything. I, if there was anything down there, scientists would know wish you lived with a little more mystery in your life. Cameron Strang also for two still exists, it would have to be more than one to reproduce likelihood. Yeah. Okay. So as millions of years old by itself, that's a lonely life. I think after a while he just kind of pulls a John Stewart and says, I'm tired. Dances youth from the souls that are baptized in his leg. Could be relaxed. I think there could be. I definitely believe that there are animals in the ocean and possibly lock Ness that we don't really have that. We don't know about or. I agree with you on the ocean. There are dinosaurs swimming. Why the ocean, but not not not a very deep lake so much big, it's way more vast, the vast -ness of it, the entire ecosystems that we have no clue about. I can find body of water. I with one thing and I, it's easily science can see all the way what it needs to see two sided, two sided. No, it's more plausible that there are dinosaur, Loch Ness, monster type creatures in the ocean, and there are in Loch Ness proper. It's almost certain. I think a lot of people would probably agree. Yeah, I but the the, oh, go pogo definitely exists. Of this lake because it sounds like it's like a pond it and industrial park. Jimmy was on his lunch break. Looking out the window and saw pogo, like Canada is they got late, you can't. You can't fill in every lake in Canada. You just concrete in the world. I'm willing to do a road trip if that's what you guys are asking, I'm willing to go and go find. No good. Old-fashioned ogoh-ogoh hunt I'm in. It really does seem to be according to the news that I'm googling so that I can see a picture of pogo year right tower. There really is a surge in people saying this creature. Suddenly. I mean. I mean, what? What would be the? I mean, the first person who takes video has nothing to gain from this sure. Some of the people who jumped on the bandwagon, maybe trying to get some media attention for it, but there's really not a lot like you're not going to be famous because you said, hey, I saw this weird thing in the lake. I think it was the ago pogo monster. You'd be surprised what people think they'll get famous for Tyler. We live in the same town. Exactly. Swift at the bar last night, I saw a mythical creature. Yeah, some people Bosc at the bus staff. Other people make up mythical creature sightings. I mean, there's two ways to this country. That's right. That's what we know. For sure, Canada are, what do you have any. In a surprising turn of events. I have the least ridiculous slice today. "No. Anything about the I mean, even found or whatever. It's still light and fun and entertaining, but it's just like, so I don't know temple. There is. First of all of them of being her to be a good interviewer. You need to listen, you know, you need like it's almost like maybe you have like, I know that there's a story or a point that we want to get to, but like you know, but being present and actually talking to the person and not just having the next question on a card like ready to go, but actually like engaging makes a big difference. The one rule that I all seriousness, the ROY because it is the worst when they have like founds like. So I heard something funny happened when you were going through security at the airport last week. You know like this in all seriousness, like I realized that great interviewer great interviews aren't because a great question sir, because of great follow up questions. Like, you know, like it's always in the follow ups that you get good stuff like questions just to get the ball rolling. Like you don't know where the interviews gonna go like enemy. Have you can't say, if you try to direct it, it's going to come across like that asking good follow ups, where you get the good stuff. It's just been the hardest. Part of the biggest thing that I had to learn doing interviews is win. Is windows stick to the script that you have of the questions that you came with at went? There's there's more going on here. Let's leave the script and talk. Let me say, asked me about worse story from being interviewed at my worst story ever is from when I was interviewing it was about a year ago, and it was a musician who is going to be on my podcast and he had been late to end. It was over Skype and he'd been laid to call them out, but it was calling to, no, you really. And he was late and then had an inter- like his publicist says, office stacked a bunch of us in a row, and it was a short one, but I didn't know they were stacked in a row and so so we get through our like twenty minutes or whatever. And then he says, so sorry, I have to go and I was like, oh, okay. Well, thanks so much for being on the show, and he thought he had hung up and he hadn't and he apologized to his assistant and says, so sorry us she such a talker about me. And I was it. Do not like we were having a conversation. I mean, it hurt my feelings so much was. Luke, Brian Lou Cameron Strang. Because I've never been interviewed w stick. No, no. I wanna say we'll call it Michael. I'm not telling you, but Miami. That's been the worst and, and here's the other thing I know I would always rather learn a lesson like that on the receiving end than the giving end. And so because he realized it had happened and I ran into him at a restaurant last week, and this has been. I mean, it was last year I ran into him at a restaurant and it and he's a hot bowl. So it's not. So that's my worst story is not hanging up on Skype and hearing someone mean about me. And I didn't mean to be at talked just an anti. Me and me and das- were loud palooza few. Weeks ago or whatever..
