"Or not. I have a nice detector below my nose. My mustache. Yeah, I can always tell when ice is like being like when you're drinking and I kind of hits it. He has one on his microphone. Okay. Stop in time. All right, let's continue. Let's go to California. Let's go to California, Stockton. We talked about this shortly after it occurred in September of 2020. A warbird North American B 25 November crash landed near Stockton in the field. And so we covered that and there just now publishing the final report. When the airplane was in cruise flight, being flown by the co-pilot left engine fuel pressure fluctuated, which was followed by a brief loss of engine power concerned that the airplane might have failed engine driven fuel pump, the pilot turned the boost pumps to high and asked the passenger the airplanes mechanic to open the fuel across feet valve. As the airplane approached its intended destination, both fuel pressure needles began to fluctuate. The pilot assumed that field starvation to the engines was occurring and decided to make an off airport landing in a field behind the airplane's position due to residential areas located between the airplanes, location and the airport. The pilot stated that he took control of the airplane from the co-pilot, initiated a right turn toward the field, and that shortly afterward, both engines lost power, total power. During the lighting role, the pilot observed a ditch in front of the airplane and was able to get the airplane airborne briefly to avoid the first ditch. However, that second ditch always get you. He was not able to avoid a second larger ditch. Subsequently the airplane struck struck the second ditch, became airborne and impacted the ground, which resulted in substantial damage to the fuselage. Did I include some of the pictures in there? In the field that kind of looks like they landed gear up, but I'm thinking maybe that second ditch and subsequent impact with the ground just sheared off the gear. I don't know. That's pretty beefy gear, isn't it? Nick camacho? Yeah. Okay. Recovery company, personnel, reported that during recovery, the wreckage about one gallon of fuel was removed from the two forward into aft wing fuel tanks. Wow. That's not a lot of fuel. Post accident examination of the airplane revealed no evidence of any preexisting anomalies that would have precluded normal operation of either engine, except that all four main fuel tank fuel gauges displayed erroneous indications after each tank was filled with water. Well, there's your problem. Don't fill the fuel tanks with water. Oh, this is after the get icing. No leaks were observed throughout the fuel system. The airplane was last refueled on the day before the accident with 497.7 gallons. When the airplane was last refueled, the field tanks were reportedly filled to about three inches below the fuel filler neck. The investigation could not determine based on the available evidence for this accident. How much of the airplanes fuel load, a maximum capacity of 670 gallons. How much was on board after it was refueled. Additionally, the pilot reported that he commonly used a fuel burn rate of 150 gallons per hour for flight planning purposes. That figure included take off fuel burn, take off, fuel, burn. Recorded automatic dependent surveillance broadcast data. ADS-B data shows that the airplane had flown four hours and one minute since refueling and included 6 takeoffs and 5 landings. As part of the investigation, the pilot estimated that 485.9 gallons of fuel had been used since the last refueling. However, on the basis of the pilot's initial fuel planned fuel load and recorded flight times, the airplane, would have used about 600 gallons of fuel. The pilot later submitted an estimated fuel burn for the flights since refueling at 485.9 gallons. The fight manual did not have fuel burn references for the exact power settings and altitudes flown. Thus, the hourly fuel burn could not be determined. Pilot co-pilot passenger did not did not visually verify the field levels in all four main fuel tanks before this accident flight. The pilot also underestimated the amount of fuel that would be used for the planned flight as a result. Feel exhaustion occurred, which led to a total loss of engine powers, a power. Yeah, so a classic fuel exhaustion accident. And there were a couple of serious injuries and one minor injury of the three. Yeah, it's very sad because this is an incredibly valuable aircraft. I'm just looking at the pilot's statement that he estimated the aircraft would have used about 600 gallons of fuel. Which would have well exceeded the fuel. The pilot said that he thought they used 485. Okay. And then as part of the basis upon its initial fuel planning load and recorded flight times, the airplane would have used about 600 gallons. So I think what's happening there is the pilot said he thought they used 485 gallons. But then the pilot also said the fuel burn is a 150 gallons an hour. So then the accident board went back and looked and the airplane had flown four hours. So the accident board saying, if you're burning a 150 gallons an hour and you flew for four hours. You've burned about 600 gallons. So I think that's the big issue here is why the pilot only thought he had burned 485 gallons. If he had flown the airplane for four hours. And I guess there were some issue with the accuracy of the fuel gauges. So that's why they couldn't be quite sure, I guess. Although Nick, what do you think? Nick camacho regarding that statement that this accident flight, they did not visually inspect the

"Wrong in running in there and she speaks a different legacy memba. Not that i'm wearing though which means my mom is dead. You know and. I've been through this multiple times with people and it's it's fine to joke around about it but the reality is that you can work your ass off your whole life and do everything right financially. But if you don't take care of your health it's all for naught because you if you don't have your health you can't spend the money in a lot of people save up all this money and they spend all their money down into a broken system trying to get just handled their health and it's just not working so the big takeaway here is Limit the animal intake and also know that just eating a lot of fresh foods in fresh plants. there's a whole bigger conversation here revolves in lifestyle. "What's your outlet? Ours is being late to talk to Sal. Good morning, Mr Camacho happy Wednesday. You too? No, it's OK. I've actually been tuned in for quite a while. Because I I want to be there for Howard picks the bills. You are so full of baloney. Would you rather do the pick the bill segment instead of no. No, that's okay. I'm fine. I'm good. I'll just listen to you could ghost it? You could just send me your pics. I won't tell anybody and I'll use them. That's actually maybe a new segment. You have a Howard picks The Bill Ghost pick via celebrity. Pretty of celebrity pickers, Not me like you could pick somebody you could pick people like like randomly text people or dm them and say if they want to be like like college Game day brings on a celebrity. There you go person every Saturday. Brilliant. You can do that, too brilliant. William Fichtner, Ron. Yeah. Yeah, He's a huge bills fan. All right, brilliant. All right. So what's up? We got in fighting. We got turmoil. These guys hate each other. What the hell is going on, Sal? Yeah. I mean, we're getting into the dog days of summer, I guess right, even though it's early summer yet for a couple of weeks, um, these things happen. Yeah, There was a fight yesterday at practice John Feliciano and AJ EPA Nesa get into it. Full disclosure and transparency. I actually had to step away from the practice field for a moment to do a radio interview station in Jacksonville. That had said Hey, can you go on? I'm like, Yeah, I'll be at practice, so I just Literally went outside the fence, and it happened while I was out there. Um, but I saw the commotion. I knew it was. I knew something was going on. And, um, I put a recap out of it from our buddy Matt Perino at our website and What he wrote Another media members who, uh, saw it was that fns ahead intercepted. Josh Allen ran it back to the end zone. Feliciano Chase them down, their words exchanged. Vanessa threw the ball back at him, and then punches were thrown and Feliciano then apparently went into the field house or whatever to cool off, but He was on Pat McAfee's show yesterday. Podcast. Um And he talked about it. And he said, Yeah, I mean, it happens and it's over, and it's done with and, you know, Iron sharpens iron, and we're just making each other better. You know all that stuff, So maybe the most interesting part for me. I mean, you know that will happen. Is epinephrine being the guy because I would imagine he feels like he has a lot to prove right about now. He also you've talked about it. He changed his body. He's got a full training camp. You know, Rookie seasons last year for any rookie might have been really tough and maybe for a guy that's supposed to be Quite a project. But whatever. He's got a career arc here, and he probably is out to prove something every single play and, you know, without speculating too much like that's maybe Feliciano is worried about his. Yeah, buddy, Relax. What does it mean to you that that's epinephrine that's involved there. Yeah, I thought it's I think it's interesting to me. It's a bit more of a story because it's him. Maybe Versus someone else. I don't know. Pick who it could have been even a guy like Daryl Johnson. Let's say who's been around like a Obata, who's been in the league a few years? Um, of course, if it's Jerry Hughes, you know you're like, Okay, this is you know, Jerry's got. He can get fiery at times, but Here's a guy that we hadn't heard much from. And I would say that most people because they haven't interacted. I mean, I've never physically met a J. F. Vanessa because of the pandemic. Anybody was new last year. We couldn't do that. It's all zoom. Would think he kind of comes across as having this kind of quiet disposition, right? I mean, a guy who you don't really Maybe if you could choose all of the defensive lineman that this could have happened with He'd probably be near the bottom of the list. Jeremy without knowing, And but that's what happened. So I agree with you. That becomes a bit more of a okay like you like to see something like that. And you know, it doesn't matter. No, I'm sure it doesn't for anything, but I do think it's interesting that it's that particular player who maybe you wouldn't expect something like that to happen with. So yeah, From that standpoint, it's pretty cool. On the flip side, Feliciano, you hear that? You're like, Well, yeah, that makes sense. I mean, of course, Feliciano. You might not expect to hear Dion Dawkins getting in a fight like that, Feliciano? Sure. Um, so you know, it's it's always lineman right in the history of camp fights. It's always like Ross Tucker. I don't know we get we get we get We get some receiver. DVD. Okay, TVs receivers sometimes, too. That's right. That's right. Remembers a Jones and Micah Hyde went at it a few years old. All right. I forgot about that one. Ross Tucker is one Who did he go with Howard was who was the defensive lineman? Oh, goodness. Wasn't Ruben Brown was it? I don't think so. No, it was a defensive tackle. Olive was Oliver. Not at Oliver Oliver something anyway. Ross Tucker. Uh, well, well, remember, like I would say in shop, and I were talking about this yesterday because Mike ask No. Will anybody even ever remember this and I said, Well, let's not forget. We still talk about Eric wouldn't Erin maven? Sometimes you do right and and because because Eric Wood You know, said something there maybe about, you know, go on your money or something. Something along the lines of it Almost. You know, it seems to me like there's always going to be at least I'm not always but a lot of times. There's at least one younger player, and this can How far away is this from Troy? Vincent Hitting JP Loss, man? Where? Hey, Rookie! Relax, You know Don't be a try hard too much out here, but the rookies have a fine line to walk because, of course, you know, but he's not a rookie. Well, he's not a rookie, but I'm saying young player, you know, second year. That's right. You're right. You're right. And when? When Aaron would Eric wouldn't did that with maven was that your one or you're too because I think it was Maybin's rookie year. I believe all right. That's still funny, but I think it going your money that's still that's hilarious. Something wasn't Was that the quote? I can't remember. I don't wanna put your generic Eric it was something like that. But anyway, you're right. Jeremy. I agree with you. Where, like there is this fine line between? Hey, I'm out here trying to make this team and earn my spot. Look at all these defensive lineman they brought in here. I'm in my second year. I didn't even I wasn't even active. My first game. My rookie year I got every single play. I'm going Hard as I can and doing everything I can to impress. And then you know, Feliciano, probably thinking you're not showing our quarterback up like that in practice. Yeah. I mean, this is our franchise guy like I'm not going to deal with that, right? So that's probably the mentality that goes into something like that where you're right. But I do I I do think it's interesting that it was epinephrine. So you know what it's going to force me to do is maybe pay attention More to epinephrine has this summer in training camp rolls on. Yeah, absolutely. And all of a sudden, from quiet, mild mannered to watch out. He'll snap, you know, or meaning police down and we knew would snapping..

"And it's important because sometimes we feel so small, no matter where we're from, no matter if we're from a major country, sometimes we feel so small and we feel so alone, but when we surround ourselves with people who are like minded and believe in the same things we do or have the same goals that we do, it feels less lonely and it's way easier to live life with positive mindset, you know? Yeah, because you find support in the groups that you're in and with the people and we are so lucky now that we're in this digital imagine if COVID had come and we didn't have the digital age or the groups that the membership groups that were all part of. You know, you and I are part of the same membership group, but we're also been on the same course together, you know, and it's without that. And you know how much support we get in those spaces. It's like life would have been tons. I probably would have been like making all these little drawings and dolls and things would be like, okay, this is my new friend today. I'll be focusing more on my artwork just kind of like taking all the loony out of my head and be like, so it's been so brilliant to talk to you and it's just so beautiful to know somebody like on the other side of the world and I love what you're doing. You've done so well. Like you say bonds are tiny little light and look at you achieving so much and doing so much for women, you know, so much for women. So I'm proud to have you on. Thank you so much. It's been so fun of your setup here. I feel like I feel like a superstar right now being behind the scenes. I think this is probably the third time of my stream here. So it's so fun. Thank you again for having me. And I hope that everybody out there is able to join us in your group so that we can feel more wild hearted. You know, it's just like, I love the name of your group. It's so it's so cool. You like it. Definitely. I love it, 'cause I feel like that's what I am. I never, ever. I never fitted a 9 to 5 myself, and when I left my 9 to 5 in 2013, it was after I realized this the last couple of days, by the way. It was after like 5 years of starting to kind of start on my spiritual path, but I wasn't really deeply comfortable then. It was just this kind of awakening that life wasn't the way I needed it to be. And I needed to change. So 2013, we left. England and came to Spain and the first thing we did was take ten months off and went traveling and went traveling in Asia. And find out what we wanted to do. But the weird thing was, it was never really about then committed myself to 50 60 hour work weeks, but that is what I ended up doing through my masculine education and energy. And only now am I really doing what is right for me, but that sense of freedom I came here to have a life of freedom and although I could take holidays when I want and take days off when I wanted. I never really felt free until the last year, you know? We're not happy. Yeah, 2020 was 2020 was a very freeing and healing leaf. They're for me too. So I totally agree. You know, it was time to put the world on pause anyways. Yeah. Really was. It was getting too much. It was just like overload, completely, you know..

"If I don't, if I'm not having fun, then I need to just, you know, be honest with myself and be like, okay, this is what you need to do. Go take a nap. First of all, take a nap and then go back to whatever it is that you may need to be because when I discovered my human design, I think it was towards the end of 2019, I was like, wow, this makes so much sense for me when I read it. I was like, this makes complete sense for me, no wonder why I went through all of these things. No wonder why I find it so easy to think of my life as a lesson and as a splenic projector. I'm like, oh my gosh, all of these things make so much sense now and I went crazy with understanding my human design because everything was so aligned for me. And I said, okay. If this is how I'm supposed to live my life, let's test it out. So in the beginning of 2020, maybe January or I think it was around January, February before, before COVID kind of hit Guam. I was already following the trends that our Asian markets in the event in the events industry where reporting. And I would go back to my client and I'll be like, hey, you know, this is what's happening. And this is what I foresee. This is what my gut is telling me is that we need to shut down these events. Here's your money back. If you want it back, but if you want to keep these deposits here in your account, that's fine with me, but I'm telling you right now, we're all going to go into lockdown. And even though I didn't have the actual data or facts about it, I well, I have data and the reports from the Asian markets, but it didn't necessarily trickle into Guam until March..

"So yeah, I mean, I would say, start meditating on a daily basis, tap into that feminine energy, and we want to hear about the magic that you create. Thank you. Yeah, that's actually great advice. I need to because I find myself meditating longer in the showers. I love that water meditation. I just love every single. But I don't do my morning and my evening meditations as often as I should. And I don't put myself in the ample environment all the time, like sometimes I'll be I'll be reading or listening to some of my meditation prompts in my car. And you know, that's not the ideal environment for something where you want to just tune everything out. But I feel like, okay, I gotta plug it into my schedule. So I'll put it to my schedule. I'll do it while I waited. And then I forget that that's even though it's, you know, continuous action towards it. Forget that I'm not putting myself in that ample environment, like I mentioned earlier. So yes, thank you so much for that reminder. It's hard when you're busy and you are super busy. You have so much going on. But what I find is that you crack open the shell of the spirituality almost and then, you know, the secret to your success is inside. It's like the egg inside of it. But you've got to keep the meditation and the spirituality going to keep opening it up or the hypnotherapy or whatever it may be that you do, you know, because you've done that as well. And you know that that works, right? Oh yeah. Yeah. And then when you keep digging, you start to kind of get it all starts coming together and you get the ideas coming through. Well, so it's exciting. I love it. You kind of believe in that as well. So you are doing some amazing things in your work and your life, because actually you've got the suicide assist, right? But you're also your fund forte is a clarity charity focus as well. So you're helping people in what you do. Is that something that you've always felt to help people? Yes. I still remember.

"I'm there four times a month. But then obviously posting as well. And it's a huge amount of work. So it's maybe it wasn't the right time. Maybe you just needed it to be the right time that is so true. We get these kind of ideas gifted to us from the universe. And that idea kind of comes down and it goes to many people. So you end up seeing similar ideas or but we're all unique and that's the great thing. We've been talking about uniqueness in my course because I'm running a course at the moment and what makes us a different. And the girls were really struggling to do it. So I was like, well, think about how, you know, how you're a little bit weird. So you've been on Natasha's course with me. And I think in the last one that we're on together, we have to look at our quirks and all of those things. We've got the girls thinking about being weird and how did people tell you that you're weird, you know? How are you doing? And just to own it. I remember so many people calling me a witch, only because there would be things that happened to me like let's say we're playing a game of like something that's totally chance. And my classmates or my family and my Friends, they'd see me when so many times they were just like, you know what? It's either magic or you're involved somehow or whatever but you are just a straight up bruja and that's what that's what it means in Spanish or even in our language for which or witchcraft. And I'm just like, no, it's just because I believe in myself. You know, that's magic is making sure I believe in myself first of all for whatever it is I want or I'm able to envision and I remember even my ex saying one day he was like, could you just manifest a $1 million already? Because it'll help our life out. You know, and I just looked at him like, what? What is that even mean? You know, I felt power. I felt powerful, but I also felt used at the same time because he's been, he's bore witness to a lot of my manifesting abilities and all of the weird quirky stuff that I've been able to luckily happen to me as well, you know? So when I heard that I was like, man, I guess I need to take these manifesting steps a little bit further. And this was years ago way before I even kind of thought about breaking things up off with him. And no, that was around the time when I was starting to get a little bit more irritated with him. So yeah, I was like, okay, you know what? This is a sign for me to detach myself from thinking I need this man to be in my life to be happy. And yeah, I really started playing around with my manifestation powers a lot better doing my vision boards better. Meditating more often..

"Many ways as possible. Yeah, that's amazing. That is amazing. Yeah, I just lost you for a second there. The signals, the signals a little bit in and out today. So it's the first time we've had problems with the interviews. That's amazing. What would be the hardest decision you've ever had to make within all of these businesses that you've got? Oh man, I had a similar question on the other interview. I had today and really it comes down to the relationships of the people you allow around yourself, like for me, the hardest one was breaking up with the father of my children. I didn't realize how much of an impact being with him and in that toxicity kept me so small. It kept me very, very small. And even though I was able to win multiple awards and scholarships and different things, you know, I was able to do, I was able to achieve so much even while I was still going through that toxic relationship. But I could have expanded sooner and faster. If I if I ended that earlier than I than I did. Yeah. Absolutely. The relationships, not just with partners, but the relationships with clients and vendors. I am definitely one who believes that the client should be aware of their responsibility as well. So I don't like, I don't necessarily like the customer is always right type of mantra and things like that because when there is something obviously wrong, we both need to come out and address those issues and not just not just burden yourself as the business owner or the service provider or the product provider that you're in the wrong all the time. I love being able to show that the customer and I we both have a mutual responsibility to ensure that this experience that they're having is something that's their part as well. So yeah, definitely relationships..

The book is led by my personal mentor and Natasha bray. Under the brand the story mind, very exciting. So do listen to our little chat today and enjoy. Welcome beauty is fantastic to have you here. So tell us all about you. Hi, everybody. Hi Lucy. Thank you so much for having me. Well, my name is beauty camacho. I'm 28. I'm a native chamorro woman from the island of Guam, like you mentioned. I'm a single mommy to two boys. My eldest is ten and my youngest is 6 and I have been studying entrepreneurship since I was 13. Probably been reading about entrepreneurship since I was ten, but studying entrepreneurship, meaning I was going to the universities and the colleges taking all of these business courses as a freshman and sophomore in high school. I remember getting the love order people who are just looking at me like, what is this girl here? Trying to take some notes to write a report for school or whatever it may be. And I'm like, oh no, I'm here, I'm your classmate. And I entered the yeah, it was so funny. And I entered this environment for myself to really get familiar with it and get comfortable with being uncomfortable. My parents were both entrepreneurs. So it was something that I really enjoyed doing. I love learning new things, like I mentioned earlier. And the entrepreneurial journey for me has been a mix of definitely personal development, spirituality, definitely U.S. based corporate business training. And then when I started to get in touch with other entrepreneurs and coaches like yourself, it was like, wow, there's such a, there's such a different realm to business when you actually merge spirituality and self development and healing most importantly for me with business because you're able to further advance your missions and everything when you combine all of those things together. So at the moment in time, I have at one point I think I had like 6 income streams from different things that I did not like at all..

Is This Ancient Biblical Forgery Actually Real?

"So close to a century and a half ago. A man named moses wilhelm shapira found fifteen manuscript fragments in a cave near the dead sea. They were written in an ancient hebrew script and contained. What shapiro claimed was the original book of deuteronomy blitz despite interest from the british museum to the tune of a million pounds. The manuscripts were found to be forged. Shapiro was disgraced and the documents disappeared but now a scholar named don dershowitz is questioning. If those documents might have been real all along so while the british museum was examining the manuscript fragments for authenticity themselves. Back in the nineteen th century. A few of the fragments were also on display to the public already attracting tons of visitors. The news of the possibly oldest ever discovered biblical manuscript had made headlines around the world. While awaiting the museum's official decree of authenticity. Someone else decided to take matters into their own hands. Charles simone clermont. Is you know who the times describes as a swashbuckling french archaeologist and longtime nemesis of shapiro's end quote examined the fragments for a few minutes and immediately went to the press to say that they were fake. The risk he played on his cursory examination paid off when the british museum experts agreed. Shapiro was humiliated by this and ended up. Tragically dying by suicide a few months later. The documents were sold at auction for a fraction of what they were originally expected to sell for. And most people soon forgot about the whole thing now. Dershowitz from the university of potsdam germany has published a new paper and companion book making the case that the manuscript was real all along quoting the new york times but dershowitz makes an even more dramatic claim the text which he is reconstructed from nineteenth century transcriptions and drawings is not a reworking of deuteronomy. He argues but a precursor to its dating to the period of the first temple before the babylonian exile that would make it the oldest biblical manuscript by far and an unprecedented window into the origins and evolution of the bible and biblical religion dershowitz. His research closely guarded until now has yet to get broad. Scrutiny scholars previewed his findings at a closed-door seminar at harvard in two thousand nineteen are divided. A taste of fierce debates likely to come but of dershowitz is correct. Some experts say it will be the most consequential bible related discovery since the dead sea scrolls in nineteen forty seven and quotes the times. Sagely points out that it's much tougher to prove something authentic than it is to prove. It's fake but there's an additional hurdle to be jumped. In this case the physical fragments themselves may no longer exist so back in eighteen eighty three there was a mad rush at the time to find biblical artifacts that would prove or disprove various points of contention emerging in biblical scholarship moseley around the documentary hypothesis. The idea that the first five books of the bible or the pentateuch were actually written by various authors. Not just one traditionally thought to be moses. It was in this climate of aggressive archaeology that shapiro. I established himself as an antiquities dealer in jerusalem and during which time he and clermont no became enemies. After camacho correctly denounced a collection of pottery. That shapira had sold to the german government. It's also important to note that shapiro was a convert to christianity having been raised jewish in russia so he was viewed with some skepticism from the other biblical scholars and archaeologists and also faced intense antisemitism after the deuteronomy manuscript was denounced. Fast forward to now. Dershowitz says one of the main reasons he thinks the fragments could have been real is because their contents differs quite a bit from the deuteronomy in the bible and many of those differences lineup with discoveries that were only made when the dead sea scrolls were found in nineteen forty seven sixty four years. After chapitoulas discovery of the fragments dershowitz also investigated. Some of shapiro's personal notes archived at the berlin state library and found three. Handwritten pages of shapiro trying to decipher the fragments. Filled with question marks and transcription errors. Dershowitz said quote if he forged them or was part of a conspiracy. It makes no sense that he'd be sitting there trying to guess what the text is and making mistakes while he did it end quote while some scholars of the evolution of biblical text or undershoots side cautiously believing the deuteronomy fragments may be genuine. Most pig refers people who study inscriptions are the ones that usually authenticate documents. Most of them aren't convinced they say the original fragments bear the hallmarks of modern forgery. That they agree with the notes made by the experts who examined them at the time and since no one has the fragments to examine physically now. It's a closed case and as for the content being impressions christopher rolston leading pig refer at george washington university said quote. Forgers are pretty clever with regard to content and they've been very clever for twenty five hundred years and quotes despite dershowitz his published paper and companion book. The jury is still out and who knows if it will ever truly be born ounce. It would have some pretty huge complications. If it does due to some of its key differences for example. It's missing all of the laws of the deuteronomy were familiar with in the bible. Ones upon which traditions and entire libraries have been founded. It would also bolster the theory that are tons more stories and traditions out there than just the ones that have been preserved in the hebrew bible.

"I will say this though carter that you know when a person is younger. Obviously there's they're selfish ambitions. You know that that take place and so on and so forth. I you know i grew up in a christian home and my mom was always a big giver and i think she just instilled that you know in a us. I have two brothers and we've all just kind of been you know a product of our environment growing up which all tribute to her. But you know you kind of take some paths along the way where maybe you kind of forget about you know that giving aspect of it and you can get to a point Re just kind of need to redirect to that. And you know part of as i was kinda thinking about what i wanted to say during this podcast. Redoing is an i revisit a little bit later as well but how that the process i have discovered through working with you guys how that has changed me. maybe from kind of selfish aspect. year i told you earlier i liked money. I like to make money you know and i was very driven by that still am of course but the process that we years through financial group which i know. We're gonna talk about a little bit later. That has really changed me. Rulli bringing me back to you wanting to help people you know. It is definitely a relational versus tran at auction process that we use and i love these people that i work with. And that's not always been the case you know. I've always been driven for the money and this is changed to really care about people and love. God become because of that. And i attribute a lot of that two year. Forget twenty five years ago but you know these past three years had just been life changing to me in so many ways. It's just been incredible that's To hear that and obviously look We are in the relationship business to your point right then and i know the type of production that you generates through our our organization here and it's reflective of how good of a job you do in your relationships because as you know lisa people do business with you that they know like and trust right and because we've developed proprietary process where it all does focus on a process of those results that come from that process as opposed to the products driven industry that we typically are living at and we've been so laser focused on the benefits to your consumer in that. That's at the top here. We were so focused on how we can help or practice and help you grow your practice and we are very faith based in that that you know you're going to reward us with doing the business together and it should help you to come to your own conclusion in. I don't wanna put words in your mouth but it should help any advisor any enrich of. That's out there listening thinking about possibly coming to find out more about csi financial group but it should help become your conclusion that Will why wouldn't i want to do business with you. If you're helping me grow my business it's offici so it again. I don't wanna put words in your mouth but that was our whole entire goal here and then whenever you mentioned my business partner andrew victor when we brought him on it just it just put a whole 'nother level of of application and an unique sophisticated planning that we can do because a lot of people wanna help wanna have helped with their taxes that mitigating of taxes so A little bit about that now as well. Yeah so and i agree with you on that. You know if you focus on helping people the money just just follows. I mean it's just natural. You know hardened bad and the sophistication that we can bring to to a client that i am truly helping somebody. It's not just you know. Hey i got this product going to help me more than it's gonna help you. But i'm gonna spend it in a way that you think it's going to help you more. It's going to help me you know. It's not like that at all. And i think that that is is something That was really refreshing to me. Because i've been dabble in all kinds of different things out there and it you know not. Everything was for the benefit of the of the person that i was dealing with. I tried to make myself. It was but it wasn't necessarily so knowing that what we do as a result of what you see as rose to the table for us in all of the different Products and categories. Different things that we can do for a client. I truly know that. I can help a person in bring that confidence with me when i'm sitting in front of somebody and talking to them. I'm excited to tell him about what we can do. Because you know we do come at it from a little. Different spin than a traditional advisor does Because of the people that team that you've put together. Andrew victor being like a wow factor you know in all of this as ours financial planning design of it in tax mitigation zones or just some incredible proprietary strategies that he has put together and and brought to the table. And it's just such an exciting conversation to have with somebody when you know that they need what you have and It's really experienced it. You've got you know the proof. Tobacco up Yeah it's just an exciting time. I'm so happy to be sitting where i am at this moment in time in life. That's awesome We gotta take a quick break right now but when we get back i want you to really dive into because you've been working with carter and see financial for like three years so i think so far. I was in it for about twenty years Or just go getters in that aspect but we were always interested in finance I've always liked money. And i've always liked make lots of money so we did pretty well In the medical sales field. But i tell you what kind of change things for us is in two thousand eight when we lost about thirty eight percent of our retirement accounts and we decided that that was never going to happen to us again and we wanted to take control of the situation control of our finances and songs of than so we actually started taking some classes on The stock market in trading in stock market. We found a company here in texas that Taught us and we actually got pretty darn good at it and they asked us if we wanted to start traveling around the country and conducting workshops to teach others what we've learned so we thought will ask sounds like a lot of fun so the two of us took out Back in about two thousand thirteen is when we started conducting those workshops on the weekend and we just taught people how to trade in the stock market and not have to rely on money managers and so we did that for five years and that looks like About a twenty eight to thirty two weekends out of the out of the year we were on the road traveling and yeah so after you do that for five years i tell you guys we were so tired. We were just exhausted and we loved working with the stock market But we decided that we just wanted to kind of refocus our knowledge on something else. And so that's when we met a out of south texas and they introduced us to Something called an annuity and life insurance. And we kinda liked it you know because we could still use our knowledge of the stock market You know in dealing with annuities and and so on or so. We got licensed and started working at that. And unbeknownst to us this group was connected with csi financial and so apparently we caught a carter's attention due to our performance. Because we got a phone call one day out of the blue remember sitting in our office here in san antonio and the phone rings and this guy comes on the line and he says hey this is harder woke oxen from csi financial. Like who are you and so we ended up. Having several conversations flew out to phoenix arizona. Ed's me carter in his business partner. Andrew victor victor and their whole team and the rest is history. You know were just approaching now. Three years of being with them and as ardor mentioned earlier we changed each other's lives. I i know he changed our lives but It's just been an amazing journey. These three years So lisa first of all. Thank you very much for that and i remember that very first time when you guys came out i want to say and i don't know if i know you've been out here a few times to phoenix don't or if that was was that cinco de mayo was at the very first time it was yes right. Felt worry mentioned home. Coming out there. During cinco de maya obviously macho you know and i know how much when it comes to keila. How much David appreciates the keel. Cinco de mayo. That that was just i don't know if it was predetermined by a higher power. That was what. I was going to happen but i remember having a great time but as far as business goes and you know how it relates to how you got started it now what you're doing Currently what was it. Do you think happened in. You know maybe previously given to the whole the stock market like money and all those types of things you know even if you went back even further because you have such a heart for helping people thing that happened you know. Even twenty five years ago thirty years ago maybe it was you know high school or college or whatever that you felt like. It was predestined to go that direction. In helping people you sort of. Have that i mean i know i feel when i talked to you about how you have. The clients best interests at heart at all times. Do you think that really was born from something early on or is that just who you are..

Pablo Escobar's Hippos Are Out of Control

"A couple of years ago. I read a novella called river of teeth by sarah gaily. The concept of the story is based on a real world event. That almost happened smack. In the early twentieth century a bill was proposed in the us house of representatives and informally supported by theodore roosevelt. The us should import hippopotamuses from africa to the swamp lands of the gulf coast and breed them as an alternative meat source for americans basically starting a new industry in the us of hill. Ranching as you know this proposal never came to be but gala novella now collected into a volume with a sequel and some other stories under the title american hippo imagines magic in alternative history where this did happen only set fifty years earlier. You get kind of gulf coast cowboys on hippos tape story. It's great loved it. I highly recommend it. Or if you just wanna dig more into the facts. I put link in the show notes to a long read on the history of the hippo proposal by john. Mouallem will the reason i bring. This up is because americans in the early twentieth century. Were not the only ones with dreams of becoming hbo ranchers decades later pablo escobar would also get into the hippo game importing four of them to live on his estate in columbia and now forty some years later they have bread and multiplied and are spreading all over the wetlands of north bogo. Talk causing mayhem. Consternation and some real concerns for the region. Scientists say this now invasive species is competing with native wildlife polluting local waterways attacking humans and they project will grow in number two fifteen hundred hippos by twenty forty at that point the scientists say they will be nearly impossible to control their environmental impacts will be irreversible but never mind controlling fifteen hundred hippos. How do you control a dozen or even just one. That's not like you can just google it you know. In colombian officials are not hippopotamus experts and there are unique challenges levied upon this specific situation. I quoting the washington post in their natural habitat. Hippos spend the long dry season crowded into waterways shrunk to puddles. They're vulnerable to disease and predation not to mention one. Another as bad tempers but tropical columbia is hippo paradise. Environmental agency researcher david vary lopez said rain is abundant food is plentiful and they're no carnivores large enough to pose a threat. The animals spend five hours a day grazing on grasses and the rest of their time basking in the cool waters of the magdalena and surrounding lakes and quotes report from columbia not being the hippos natural habitat having in effect on the hippos behavior it also affects the surrounding communities impression of the hippos. The officials tasked with dismantling escobar's estate back in the ninety s. Weren't sure what to do with the one male and three female hippos so they just let them roam instead of sending them to a zoo with his other animals and mostly they did that because the hippos were massive and aggressive no one really wanted to approach them so we'll get the harm be and letting them go well. Kenyans and other african communities with native hippo populations could tell you a whole heck of a lot. You've got hippos from each sex so they can breathe for one and they're also hugely destructive to the environment into other animals. Hippos killed more humans each year than other large mammal. But when you don't grow up around hippos you don't necessarily know that so the hippos have become something of a mascot and columbia. According again gift shops in nearby puerto trail info sell hippo keychains and t shirts at the amusement park that was built on the site of escobar's former pleasure palace. Visitors can tour the lake where several dozen hippos now live occasionally one will plot into a nearby community looking as blase as a shopper on his way to the grocery store the hippopotamuses. The town pets resident claudia. Patricia camacho told the local news in two thousand eighteen. You could say that he now takes to the streets as if it were his own and quote but the hippos aren't as friendly as they may look on t shirts. They terrorize farms and hurt residents at times. The government has ordered the hippos to be shot on sight but there's been pushback from animal rights organizations and local residents so then they tried putting the hippos in a pin but and this is one of the mini quotes from this article. That honestly sounds straight hundred jurassic park. Etcheverry said i didn't know they could jump hikes so then they tried big pens with high enough walls that the hippos can't jump onto them. They've also been focused on trying to prevent them from breeding by cuisine. And then castrating the males. They've been through a steep hippo anatomy learning curve on that front though. Not even being sure where to look. For the animals external reproductive organs turns out. It's a bit complicated. They finally got a system of castration down. But it's costly and complicated so they can only do about one year but the estimates are that the population grows ten percent a year and apart from the bodily harm humans and the destruction of farms the hippos as they multiply host of other problems quoting again. A twenty twenty study of hippo inhabited lakes found that nutrients from the animal's feces were fuelling huge. Plumes of area an algae. These intern reduced the oxygen content of the water. Making it toxic to fish.

Horse Owned By Victor Martinez Headed For Kentucky Derby

"We've seen some professional athletes. Those who bring in big money branch out into ownership after their playing days are over. Mario lemieux has won. Three Stanley Cup says owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins after leading them to two as a player. Magic Johnson Nolan Ryan and Warrick Dunne are among those who at one time co own the teams they once played for then there's Michael Jordan and Carolina David Beckham. Who's Inter- MIAMI. Mls team just began. Play this year and Lebron James who owns a piece of Liverpool in the English premier league who are among other athletes who have become owners. Then there's Victor Martinez a five time all star catcher and designated hitter primarily with the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers. He decided on ownership to and now. He has a chance to win his sports. Ultimate prize shot pin Geir Mo going after the leaders and goes tencent on the outside and Paco Lopez sets him down for the driving. He's picking up versus one by one but meanwhile upfront at fifty to one of King Gary Mode now going to aid. Here's pink derm O- on the outside trying to follow your gut. Said Chan said is home on the outside inside the final furlong. Do you believe this king at forty nine to one. He doesn't just want it. He wins it off in press. I cannot think of a former professional athlete. Who owned or co owned a Kentucky Derby winner? Maybe you can. Please let me know but Victor Martinez has a chance to be something of a trailblazer and we are fortunate enough to welcome Victor Martinez for the First Time. Here to investigate. What was it like for you that day? It was crazy it was crazy man with a lot of stuff that we were just praying that you know he likes the door he likes the dirt and then you know I remember having my wife be right beside on my right and You know the final stretch. She kids saying we won. We won and I was like no. You know we still. It's still a race to go super race to go. And she was like we weren't we weren't and then we. I think we're the only people in the race track that was jumping and screaming because he was forty nine to one You know we have gone through a you know a lot of stuff with him. You know special. Because what he's made he's He's debut he may He's view in fighting. Hafer loans on dirt right so you know He. He came out of the big favourite of the race. You know because of these workers stuffing You know it was a fourteen horse. Feel and he ended up seeks to raise so it was Kinda. You know disappointed but we were happy. I mean as a family have my whole family there. We'll have a great time and that was what it's all about. I was I was trying to do that to have with my family but you know I remember the trainer. One Carlos was very very disappointed about his performance. He was you know what I'm saying. I'm sorry I don't know what happened. That was like don't worry about it. I mean we have a great time. You know we have a lot of people came to us and say that king a year is a terrific guy. He got a racer grass so well we decided to give him a chance on on on turf grass and we put him on a mile rate. You got a king gear. Mouse can gear midway on. The turn is opened up. A six length advantage gear comes into the stretch with a seven length. Lead Kozel Listrik Joe. Second third but king who they gotta catch can gear ball popular. Victory here can gear them out by about eight legs so we were like okay. I think he he liked turfing. You know we put him on another race. These these time was the steak then. He came third. So you know He. He lost the race in the final four lawn. Something like that and You know he he make another another big race but I still have my dream united. See how my dream from like my Kentucky Derby horsing. I told the trainer one time I told him Carl listen. I think he deserved one. More shot on dirt. So let's put him on one more time and but Lisa he's not gonNA raise any those leader races. Let's put him on a raise. That point to the Kentucky and he looked at me and he was agreed. We put him on the temporary. We you know we went out there to try. Try Him on again. And then we came out with spider it every now you talked about your trainer Juan Carlos Ave line. You're rider Sammy. Camacho are not that well known on the national thoroughbred racing scene they like you are Venezuelan. Had you thought about going with a more well-established trainer and rider to prepare for the Kentucky? Derby Nope nope they put him in the Kentucky every day going with him to the Kentucky Derby. Idiocracy and Wenatchee Washington and what they have in common

"What the the winner of this week's idiosyncrasy award goes to my hometown of Wenatchee Washington for bringing a part of the movie into. To the real world. If you haven't seen idiot Krissy even though I call it the scariest horror movie of all time. What Kapadia has it listed as a two thousand six American science fiction, comedy film, directed by Mike judge and starring Luke Wilson, Maya Rudolph index shepherd. The film tells the story of two people who take part in a top secret military human hibernation experiment only to a week in five hundred years later in a dystopia and society where anti intellectualism and commercialism have run rampant and which is devoid of intellectual curiosities, social responsibility, and coherent notions of Justice and human rights, which is why I call it the scariest horror movie of all times because we're not supposed to see things from a five hundred year mythical future where mankind has evolved in real life. This was an outlandish movie that at the time could never become a reality, but twelve years later. Ter- and we see things almost daily that could have been ripped straight out of this movie like this. In one scene, they showed the outside of a hospital where the site inch was just not thought out properly. Let alone the name, something that obviously could never happen in a real life scenario. Right? Oh, no, my friends, you would be mistaken when actually Washington, just unveiled this new sign to the public one that thousands will see every day as they travel the George seller bridge on their way to win at Aki and that I'm sure not one not two, but at the very least three people would have had to have looked at and said, Yep, that looks good to me. Now it's not all the city's fault as they outsource the work to Lynnwood company called trans blue. Why they went with a company out there with such horrible reviews is anyone's guess. It should make me giggle because like the movie that even ran. Out a room at the end and had to curve the word down, but it just makes me sad for the future of humanity. This movie was supposed to be comedy, not a documentary of the future, please society I beg of you. Let this be the last thing out of this movie that appears in real life or else before, you know, it will have president Camacho in the White
