"Jones gets hurt. He got kind of knocked out. And the answer is like, oh, we don't have any running backs left. And the other guy's like, I don't think we do. I think they had forgotten that DJ Dallas was still on the team. But he was like, he better come back. That's our last running back. And I'm like, I have to see how to tease. What happened? Cam Akers to score two touchdowns on you. Don't worry about having a decent feedback. So I don't know what happens. What did they say with walkers? You play next week? I think so. I don't know what. It didn't seem. It didn't seem seasoned threatening. All right, fairly watchable is it got 5? Bengals? Home for Desean and the browns. This is a absolute teaser. Now, well, I can't give it away. I mean, I know what you're saying. Glad Bengals by 8. Oh, good. All right, I said 7. It's four and a half. Oh, come on. What? I know. Oh my God. That's really not tonight. But we're all Joe borrowed, right? We're all smoking cigars with Joe burrow, but is this the miles Garrett three stacked two strip sacked fumbled game? I don't know. I do worry a little bit. Not because of the Sean, but that's stupid. Did they play, they played this year, right? They definitely played. The Bengals are going to run all over them. This is dangles one 32 13, obviously. Oh, I'm sorry. No, no, this was the Halloween game. Throw that out. Thursday night, their coach had died the day before. Monday night. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, what do we gonna do? We're gonna do that. I like the Bengals even more now. I think the brads think next one. Tennessee home for the Jags, I would say this is a loser leaves town match for the Jags, but they already packed and they're gone and they didn't even leave a security deposit. So long. All right. Titan 7 and 5, I have their over under. I think I bet it was 8 and a half. And I thought that there was no way in hell that would still be alive for me. You're nervous? Oh, yeah. Yeah, you got it. No, I mean, I would have thought the Titans were going to get to 9 wins, right? Yeah, you still have. You still have the Texans. But I bet I bet the object twice. Oh yeah, you're done. Am I? Well, they're going to be home for the Texans. They have the Jags twice. Yeah, I guess I'm done. I'd be close. You might be able to hedge the last week. I just want to get to the hedge the last week,

"Hey, no, I think you're right. And is there a chance he retires? I mean, because we're talking about, oh, Sean Payton first coach fired. And like, oh, wait, Staley, you can't forget about him. He just went for it on fourth and whatever in his own 25. Like we could talk about that. But does he quit? Does he just like, hey, screw this, I don't need this. Our defense gave up 70. Yeah, I can't come back from this. Well, here's the interesting thing about the Denver piece that I didn't realize. They have their first round pick this year. So to me, they're in tank mode now. Like why not? If you're Payton, you have like, what was it? Like an eight year contract for like $100 million or whatever it is, your team sucks. You're going nowhere with everybody you have. You have this Caleb Williams prize that's sitting there. The Bears, so the silver lining for the Bears is they have two cracks at it because they have their own pick, but they also have Carolina's pick. Carolina's own three. Carolina's going to be in the, I don't know, in the Caleb Williams kind of mix. Is it worth it from an ego standpoint for Sean Payton to tank it even if you could tank? So that means he would go like two and 15 or three and 14 this year. And that means, okay, let's say he gets his guy and even next year he would have to still go like six and 11 at best. Like now you're like three years in and you're Sean Payton and you're nine and 24 or whatever it is. I don't know, I don't know if they play like that. One of the reasons I couldn't get behind them as a playoff team was because of their schedule. And Chicago, ironically, is their easiest game next week. And we're going to go, when we do Guess the Lions, we'll go into whether they're favorite or not. But they still have, they have two Kansas City games left. They have two Chargers games left. They're at Detroit. They're at Houston. Houston's super frisky. They have to play Cleveland. They're at Buffalo. Like they have a lot of losses left if you look at their schedule. They have the Chiefs twice in the next five weeks, I think. Yeah, so they might end up, if they lose the Chicago game, there's a real chance they could be like 0-8, 0-9, something like that. And then maybe you'd have to think about it. The Bears, they're going to get two cracks at it. It was interesting, Carolina, they hung with Seattle for a while and they had Andy Dalton, who's basically, after watching Mac Jones for three hours and then Andy Dalton, I couldn't tell the difference. And he's starting to Adam Thielen. I was thinking, one of these NFL teams needs to try, it's almost like an old-timers league for the NFL. You just get all of these guys. Zach Ertz should be on that team and all these dudes that are kind of on their last legs. And you could kind of put an offense around all those guys that would be pretty confident, right? Like Dalton throwing to Thielen, bring back AJ Green, let's get him back in there. DeAndre Hopkins. You need to put up good, big stats, Adam Thielen, but we need you to come in and score at the end of a game and cover on a two-team teaser. Not even cover the regular spread. Could you do that once a year? I have more topics for you. We didn't talk about the Drunk Coaching Bowl yet. Minnesota versus the Chargers. A game that I bet on, which is- Oh, no. Yeah, I actually did the adjusted, I figured it would be a touchdown or less game. So I did the Vikings plus seven and a half. And I did the over under down to 52. And it hit. Or I did it to 51 and a half and it hit. I hit it by half points, so I actually hit the tees. We talked about taking both teams plus seven and a half because we knew it was gonna be a one-score game. Yeah, but of course it did. And yeah, that was bizarre. And I don't know, people are like, oh, Stanley got lucky. He got lucky, he gets to keep his job. Like, should he get to keep his job? Because he keeps getting lucky doing dumb things. If you shot me in the face, if you shot me and missed three days in a row, and I'm like, oh, you're lucky. You would've gone to jail if you hit. No, let's get this guy off the street now because he's really doing damage. Eventually it's gonna be bad. I don't know, he's just so inconsistent, Stanley. Like he had fourth and two from the 40 against Tennessee last week, 21-17, and punted. Yeah, and then he goes for it here. The team must be like, what the F is going on with this guy? I follow, I swear this isn't, this is gonna be a diss. I follow this guy, Seth Wilder, on Twitter, who's really good. He has like good analytic stuff, and he immediately lays down what the percentages are. So when the Chargers went for it on fourth and one, he said their analytics were go, 88.9% chance to win the game. If you punt, it was 82.1%. So he said Brandon Staley made the correct decision. I'm gonna forget those. No? Hold on. I just disagree. Like you can give me the math. First of all, that's a 6% difference, which means if you play the situation 100 times, one time it's 88 times it works, the other time 82. Not that huge of a difference. But it also doesn't take into account the game itself. Minnesota, I just want to punt, and I don't think Minnesota can go 70 yards from watching that whole game. I didn't think they were gonna be able to do it. They were gonna fuck it up. They're gonna do something dumb. Cousins were gonna do something dumb. If you shorten the field there, now they have a better chance. So that's one thing. The other thing was the play they ran stunk, which they never factor into the 88 per se. They just ran this stupid, what was it? A full back dive into nine people? Like if they're gonna run that play, run like with the picket play that they won to win the Pittsburgh game, where he rolled out and he had a whole bunch of people and three receivers in front of him or whatever. But they never factor in how bad the plays are with these percentages. So if you told me like, all right, what are the percentages with the most predictable full back dive ever right into the middle? I don't think it's gonna be 89%. Here would be my analytics. It's a little unorthodox, but I would ask all knowledgeable Vikings fans, do you want them to go here or do you want them to punt? And 107% would say, we want them to go for it here. That's my analytics. Yes. If the opposing teams, smart fans want you to do one thing, you do the other. Also because the chargers of their history would be like, please go for it. They'll fuck this up. Please, fork the one. I know you guys make a mistake. We're gonna jump off sides. We're gonna do this. I mean, so then Cousins comes down and as we described earlier, he fucks up. 41 seconds left, just spike it. Now they don't do it. They end up losing the game. There was more than that though. Like Herbert, I think was, Herbert was incredible today. He was 40 for 47, but there was some stat where Brian Flores blitzed him on like 82% of the passes. The Vikings were like, nope, this is the one where the blitz is gonna work. It's like, the blitz is never working. It's failing every time. Both sides, just the strategy, it was just exactly the monstrosity that you would've guessed. So I guess Minnesota's done now. They're 0-3. I don't really see a roadmap. And you were right. 0-3 in close games. In one score games. And you pointed that to that last year. I think they were 11-0 or 11-1 last year. Now obviously 0-3. Yeah, and the Thursday night game pits the two 2-0 teams and the Vikings and Bears are at 0-3. I don't know if they're a cross off yet because you're right. They could be, that seven seed could be bad. Could be like nine and eight. One thing with Minnesota is, their receivers can get open. And it always feels like they have plays downfield at all times. I don't know what Madison's stats were today and maybe they were better than the eye test, but he just doesn't seem like an everyday, every down back to me. Which maybe is one of the reasons they traded for Cam Akers. But it feels like they're a running back short. And I know they've had a couple injuries too. All right, so that game was ridiculous. He actually had 93 yards and 20 carries. But it just wasn't about that. But they just didn't get the big number. When you watch him, does he feel like a, like he doesn't feel like Dovlin Cook the last couple years or anything like that. I left that game feeling worse about both teams. I don't know if that's possible. I know the Chargers won, but I don't feel good about them at all. Another thing that happened. They're the two worst teams in sports. Let's put it that way. They really are. Another thing that happened, Houston not only beats Jacksonville, I didn't put that game on until they took a lead. I didn't, they didn't make my initial cut. And that was an ass kicking. But they were just better. That wasn't flukey. That wasn't like Dallas, Arizona. You could be like, all right. Dallas got a little lazy at the start. They fell behind. A couple of dumb penalties. Houston was better than Jacksonville. And I don't know what to make of that one. Yeah, I think what to make of it is both south divisions are kind of up for grabs. And this is what we're going to see every time they play each other, you know? And the other thing is we talked about it last week on Guess the Lions. Damn, the odds aren't up. But Stroud for Offensive Rookie of the Year was 10 to one. And I know everyone's saying, Bijan, Bijan this. And he was like 250 or 300. Stroud's got to be the favorite. That's got to be way less. Did you see the stat about his passing arts? Most career passing arts in first three games. Cam Newton won. Justin Herbert too. Stroud three. Mahomes four. Luck five. Baker Mayfield six. His 906 passing arts in three games. Only three guys have ever done it. And eye test-wise, it's fucking unbelievable. Love it. Really confident. I like his receivers. You know, Nikko Collins and Dell who are like, if you're in fantasy leagues, you know who these guys are and people are bidding on them. But big, physical, fast guys who make plays. And these guys. Robert Woods is fine there, yeah. Yeah, and he's got a shitload of confidence. I like that team. I got to say, AFC South odds, Jacksonville plus 150. I don't like that at all. I just don't think Jacksonville's look good. Tennessee plus 220. We have that from earlier in the year. What do we have that at? Like plus 390 or something like that? Yeah, I was in the threes there. I just wish, I don't know what I wish. I didn't like what I saw today, but I also think they can compete with Jacksonville. I think you throw out Cleveland games. Cause they're big. Indy's plus 280, which actually seems too low. And then Houston plus 750 didn't seem like a crazy long shot to me. They have a lot of talent on both sides. And I like Tamiko Ryans. And I was thinking like Sean Payton murdered the new coach theory. We talked a lot about before the season about Sean Payton, new coach. This is usually works, but I was scared. I stayed away from them. I was like, I don't know who the new coach is. Who is it? Maybe it's Tamiko Ryans. Yeah, I had an apology for him. I apologized for him for what's about to happen. I guess I jumped the gun on Ringer Wiseguys today. I was like, Tamiko Ryans, I'm sorry. You deserve a better job than this. You're going to get blamed. Just like the last two Houston coaches were. They were all both one and done's, but this is Bill O'Brien's mess still. And just hang in there. But yeah, he's doing more than hanging in there. They have some, they get to play Carolina later this year. They get to play Arizona. They still get to play, they get to play Jacksonville again. They get Tennessee twice. They have an Indianapolis game. They get there at the Jets. They're home for Denver. They got, there's a path for nine wins for them. And before the year, Houston 10 plus wins was plus 5.50. Houston to win the playoffs was plus 5.20. And Houston to win the division was 10 to one. And now it is plus 7.50. And I got to say that division looks wide open to me. You got Jacksonville going to London now and they're playing two straight London games. God only knows what's going to happen after they come back from that. But I don't know. I didn't feel like that Houston game was a fluke. I love going over odds and everything, but I feel like both South divisions we talk about way too much. I really do. I feel like it's, it's like, these teams aren't going to make a dent in the playoffs. I'm sorry. This is, this is like us talking like a half hour about Pete Buttigieg's candidacy. And the Democrat, it's a nice guy, seems smart, but why are we spinning our wheels here? They're not going far. With that said, NFC South division odds. New Orleans plus 145, Atlanta plus 160 and Tampa plus 290. And Tampa might lose by 30 tomorrow night. I have no idea. I, at gunpoint, I would say New Orleans, just cause I thought Atlanta, Detroit, and Detroit was really good today. I've been very dubious to Detroit, but their defense locked down Atlanta. And they were basically like, you're not running the ball against us. Desmond Ritter, if you could beat us, Godspeed. And he couldn't do anything. And they scored six points. While Tampa was four to one, you pointed this out and they didn't even play in their plus 290, obviously, because New Orleans and Atlanta lost. But yeah, we don't know when he's coming back. Quickly, you want to talk Zach versus Mack? What was it like as an innocent bystander? I got to say, it just seemed boring. It seemed rainy. It seemed like the turf couldn't even handle the rain. Like nothing was working out in that game, but I didn't love it so much. Well, you must've been nervous at the end. I mean, it really, it seemed like a beat down until the fourth quarter. And then you got outscored seven to two and it was almost enough. I was nervous the whole game. Mack Jones had three points in the second half. Since week 11 last year, the Pats have scored 10, 26, 10, 27, 24, 18, 23, 23, 20, 17, 15. We're going down. We're less than 20 points a game in the last 11. The defense, which it was weird, the announcers didn't mention it. They had a lot of defensive linemen like going out or a couple of guys got hurt and the pass rush kind of slowed down. And Zach Wilson started to get confident. And there was like a 20 minute stretch there where I think every Pats fan was thinking this could be rock bottom in about an hour. Like if we fucking lose to a Zach Wilson comeback and Belichick loses to the Jets and we go to 0-3, like this is rock bottom. Like what happens now? Because the schedule gets hard the next couple of weeks. But the defense is going to have to win. But this is exactly what we thought, right? We thought this game goes way under and the Patriots win by, if they're given two and a half, take them, they'll win by three or four or maybe 10. But it's going to be in the mid 20s or 30s, right? I mean, we called this one and we called the Minnesota Chargers game, almost exactly. I hate to be the Boston, like the Boston radio guys, because I know what they're going to do tomorrow. And they're going to be like, Max sucks, he's terrible. Get him out of here, he's a bum, all that stuff. He's just not good. Like he doesn't make big throws and big moments ever. He has, I said this on Thursday, he has one come from behind win in 36 starts now. They had two third downs in the fourth quarter where all they had to do is complete like third and three, third and five. And they had, it's not only that we don't complete the passes, it's these like precision lob passes to backpedaling receivers who don't realize that the ball was thrown over the wrong shoulder. And it's like, they're fucking disasters. And these are like the biggest plays of the game where it's like, all we need is like that picket made today and third down. He rolled out, he threw it to his guy, the guy was open and that was it, the game was over. The Pats can't even do that. It's really rough. Here's my devil's advocate. I thought Romo did a decent job pointing out that nobody was open this whole game. None of the Jets receivers, none of the Patriots. But who, honestly, who is he embarrassing? Farrell Brown, Kendrick Bourne, Devante Parker. What have they loaded this guy up with? Juju Smith-Shuster's good for one or two receptions. I don't know. But this is like, now we're turning into like the youth sports parents who's like, the coach won't play my kid enough. At some point, Mac's gotta have a good game and he's gotta make good throws and he's gotta make like some, have some awesome comeback or something. Like, what are we gonna, he's gonna have 100 starts? We're like, oh man, if he only didn't have, I don't know, I have a lot of trouble watching it. And I really don't think, like I watched Andy Dalton today in the Seattle game. I'm like, Andy Dalton's better than Mac Jones right now. He's his. And I don't even think Andy Dalton's good. You have the, well, I said, everybody's the same. Everyone's 15 for 29 for 201 with a touchdown or an interception or something. I just, I'm so down on all the quarterbacks in the league. And you play Dallas next week. There's your comeback. You'll be thrilled with that win. That is exciting. All right, we're gonna take a break and then we're gonna bring in a special guest to talk about this, Taylor Swift. Oh, Travis Kelce combo.

"Not a bad 6 in terms of family. Yeah, you're right. That's fair. Thursday night, the rams, I think the rams are on TV the rest of the way, which is hilarious unless they can get flexed. Really? Thursday night, rams raiders. It's in LA. It's gonna be a lot of raiders fans. The rams are awful. Aaron Donald's not gonna play. Stafford's out for the year. Cups nowhere to be seen. The rams guys that were making plays today, I was stupefied. Cam Akers, who they tried to wave for like a month, van Jefferson. It makes no sense how they're moving the ball at all. But Jalen Ramsey screaming at guys. Personal fouls, but yeah. Mcvay was really into the game. It felt like it was like his Super Bowl. I think he would like to be Carol. I don't think he likes the Carol, but. Yeah, probably. Out of his hands at this point. I had the raiders by four. All right, I get this. I said 6. It's 5 and a half. This is it, isn't that right? Now everybody takes the Raiders on a teaser and they're going to lose money going into the week. It's going to be very sad. I'm going to be one of them. Sunday Marquis, would you have bill's jets in this spot or would you have eagles giants? I don't want to give away, wow. Don't just say what's a better game. I didn't know if I was going rogue. Yeah. This is in Buffalo. There might be another one in there out of the three, but I say Minnesota Detroit, it's pretty good too, but good. I had that next group. Jet speed the bills already. We thought it was a huge fluke and a giant upset. And then it kind of turned out nah, actually the jets might be all right. And now, I think this is bills by

"And that's a weird thing that you don't see Aaron Rodgers do a whole lot. There was the deep ball in the lines defensive back made a phenomenal play on it. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yep. And there was another one when they were driving and I feel like it was a nice adjustment and the receiver broke with him on the ball and I feel like he just, it was short by, again, about a centimeter, like and I think he's just, he's missing these things just a little bit. He's forcing them just a little bit more frequently. And you don't know what to blame it on because, you know, devonte Adams had a great game today, right? And certainly his absence is felt, I just don't know if they've figured out how to run this offense. In another way. Normally when a lot of these outside zone teams, they lose a big guy. They lose a big wide receiver. You and I wrote about this a lot, the soft season. You have to replace it with very specific component parts that make the offense still work. And so either they did that and Aaron Rodgers is just not breaking these guys in or there's a disconnect on what the offense needs, what Aaron Rodgers wants and what the personnel staff has found for them. And so something here isn't working. And one thing that I keep going back to is like, if lazard is your every down playmaker, then he's not helping you in the running game, which you need him to do. And then if you're not running the ball, then nothing is open, the way that it's supposed to anyway. And so, and that's just one very little component piece of a very large, seemingly very large problem. I mean, they're going to miss the playoffs. I don't think they're getting in at this point. Rams Buccaneers. So kind of on the flip side of this, a nice story for an older man who plays quarterback in the NFL. That is Tom Brady gets the comeback win over the rams, obviously the rematch of the divisional playoff game last year that the rams utterly dominated and then cam Akers kind of fumbled it back to the Buccaneers in the most literal sense. But yeah, this was I mean, you know, we thought we were gonna come on the show and just be like, man, Buccaneers would have disjointed mess all the drops, all the execution issues, this interior line is completely unplayable, et cetera, et cetera. And then they just, you know, they put together exceptional touchdown drive to win this one in the end. Yeah, Scotty Miller gets bailed out by a classic Tom Brady drive where if you give that guy even just a glimpse of sideline with 40 seconds left, he can go like if the field was twice as long as it was. He could probably make it down there to score a touchdown. It felt inevitable. And it's very cool that he can still flip that on. And do that at age 40 6. It's very impressive. It's a team that probably is going to make the playoffs because it's so bad. But man. I don't know. They are really difficult to watch. And they're still, I'm sure they're at like a thousand prime time games left this year. We're going to see so much of them, but that offense is completely dysfunctional at this point.

"All right, Connor or give me your dream trades. Trade deadline coming up in less than a week here. All right, so I just kind of want a thumbs down. I got 7 of them for you. Okay. I'm going to start with the least sexy and then I'll kind of work my way up. To trick everybody into staying until the end of the podcast. You have to listen to the ads so that Gary and I can survive. As human beings. All right, so first one, I'm not even gonna do a dremel for Gary. Not totally sexy, but, you know, kind of a tea leaves one here. And again, these are dream trades. So this one was kind of a short afternoon nap dream, right? Maybe after consuming a little too much cold medicine. But nyheim Hines to the ramps. What do you think about that? Okay. Yeah, I can get behind that. The one bummer for the rams, just from a draft or standpoint, is yes, the fact that cam Akers is for whatever reason no longer really a part of their program for the time being is a bummer, but I was kind of here to see what kyron Williams does. The Rookie out of Notre-Dame, what was he a 5th round pick? Me too. He kind of fits that mold. I don't think he's naive Heinz level of ability as a pass catcher, but I think he can be in that general mold there. So that's the only reason I'm a little bit a little bit standoffish on that one because I would like to see a little more run for a kyron Williams once he's healthy and ready to go. I think the thing is, right? You were in on Christian McCaffrey, you're not getting him. The next and I have the next best pass catching back kind of factoring in elsewhere here in a surprise. So by virtue of your interest in Christian McCaffrey, you have telegraphed the need for that, right? Which is speed out of the backfield past catching ability out of the backfield to help Matt Stafford and you could see why a good check down option would open up stuff for them. Okay.

"Think that's what you have to build around. Do you want to hear an interesting story about a pass rushing spin moves? Yeah, I do. Okay, so you and I worked on that quarterback story if you months ago, where we were talking about how quarterback were learning sort of weird outlier things from other quarterbacks and incorporating them into their repertoire. The way that Aaron Rodgers pops his foot up or the way that Lamar Jackson throws sidearm and practicing these things, now making them better. A couple of years ago, the spin move was one of those things. And so one of the guys that I talked to for this other this pass rushing story that you and I worked on together was doctor pass rush actually has a doctorate in pass rushing. And he's been a private pass rushing coach for a long time and he said like NFL coaches would call him and be like stop teaching this shit. Like stop sending my guys back to stop sending my guys back to camp with this ridiculous spin move. It's not effective. We're not going to teach that. We don't want them to do it. And it's totally different now, right? Everybody wants the spin move. It's effective. If you can pull it off, if you have the body balance and the vision to pull it off, it's great. But I love a jabo. He's got, he's got a great bend. You know, he's going to get under the arms of those kind of those longer tackles, and he's going to be able to just sort of like grind his way to the quarterback. And some fortunate what happened. To him and I would encourage all prospects to just skip this dog and pony show after you've put quality years on tape. But yeah, I would say it's going to take the right GM, right? Because if he's not going to be ready or he's going to be ready later in the season or ramped up a little bit later in the season, you have to have an entrenched GM that's probably not as worried about job security. And so it's going to take the right team, I think, for him. I think after cam Akers made it back from a ruptured Achilles in like 48 hours. That's true, too. That's just changes everything. Yeah? "On the rams to win this Super Bowl. All the moves they made. Like imagine if you trade your future for Matthew Stafford. You trade for von Miller. You sign OBJ. You make a move for a running back to kind of hold your team together. Well, cam Akers gets healthy, Sony Michelle. You do all that stuff you mortgage your future and you don't win a Super Bowl. By the way, in your home building. All the pressure was on the LA rams and they won, which is so cool to see, and man, despite OBJ getting hurt. Despite all the stuff that happened in the game, it's cool to see the rams pull it out and shout out to Matthew Stafford man. At the end of the game and his team really needed a play or two. He put together a really good game winning drive, big plays, he delivered, and I'm just so so happy for the LA rams and their fan base. Now, look, I thought everything that could have gone right for the Cincinnati Bengals did go in their favor. The rams really struggled to run the ball. At one point they had makers running back had 11 carries for 13 yards. They didn't run the wall very well in LA. Odell Beckham junior got hurt. Matthew Stafford through two interceptions one was basically a punt. And one was not his fault, but still you get two picks on the opposing quarterback, that's great. By the way, the Bengals did not have a turnover the entire game. They beat Jalen Ramsey deep twice. They had a deep ball, the Jamar chase, on the right side line, then a deep ball that he Higgins down the left sideline. There was a wild no call on that long touchdown to start the third quarter. Where, remember he grabbed Jalen Ramsey's face mask, and no one called it. The way the second half started in general, there was that one play 75 yard drive, the deep ball, the first play the third quarter that long touched down to tea Higgins. Then on the rams first play right after that, Matthew Stafford throws an interception. And it's like, my gosh, the Bengals have the lead, all the momentum and the football. I mean, everything that could have gone the Bengals way.

"Stuff coming up. Okay, let's move on to the really good stuff. Sunday afternoon, rams at Buccaneers. And this was a game that looked like it was going to be a blowout that looked like it was going to be not competitive, halftime score, 20 to three, rams come out and score again in the third quarter. It's 27 to three as many people noted at the time. Awfully close to that magical 28 to three number. And things started to feel like they were warming up and everyone's like, nah, it's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen. Like, the bucks don't have it. They're struggling. Defensively, they haven't been able to do much unless the, you know, unless the rams are turning over the ball and explicitly. But the thing is, the rams continued to turn the ball over inexplicably. And when you turn the ball over inexplicably against Tom Brady, little a little lightbulb goes off. A little switch, a little on button is pressed somewhere in his cyborg brain. That says, okay, now it's time to find the Enzo. I'm done. You're going to give me the ball back. So we've got fomos from cam Akers. We've got fumbles from Cooper Cup. We've got Matt Stafford looking for butterflies while his center snapping the ball and giving Tom Brady an extra 25 yards, right? So what happens? Tom Brady Tom Brady's. That's what happens. It happened. And the bug scored 24 points in a row. It doesn't matter when the opposing defense isn't playing you well if you're just going to give the ball back Tom Brady yourself. And that's what happened. So we were staring down the barrel of Tom Brady taking the rams to overtime when Matt Stafford did what he does best and close out the game with the home run on broken coverage to Cooper cop and the game was over. Gay and Phil gold range in boom, final score, 30 to 27. Matt Stafford, a lot of people don't realize this. One of the great game winning drives quarterbacks in the NFL. Very good at executing game winning drives, even when he was in Detroit. Usually it's not with like 40 seconds on the clock, and a playoff game, but it's a new era for Matt Stafford. And for all the mistakes that were made, the rams were the better team. Matt Stafford wasn't the better quarterback necessarily because he was on the field with Tom Brady, but he played well enough, and they are rightfully moving on to the NFC championship game. A lot of people at this point are saying there's no way Tom Brady's going to go out like that, right? Losing the divisional round. He was clearly defeated. It was an incredible comeback. It was one of those games where everybody at that point was prepared for Tom Brady to pull it out. Because we've seen so many times. So while they did lose, was there such a vintage incredible Brady quality to it. He was so masterful in the last quarter and a half of that game. And he dragged that team to the point where they were, you know, 40 seconds away from taking it to overtime and things didn't go his way. But I'd actually don't agree that this is a game that would prevent Tom Brady from retiring. He's not stupid. He has to know how difficult it is to retire after winning a Super Bowl. The only way you're not going to retire after a loss in the playoffs is if you win the Super Bowl. So maybe he wants to at least play it. I don't know, but he had a chance to do that last year and he didn't do it..

"I don't know, I'm watching the end of the game approximately when you are, and when the rest of the world is. So you've deviated, yeah. So what's the point of that then? So you can no, now I can start later. Now I can have 3 o'clock kick-off today. I can whatever I can in theory do something with my kids like watch TV. And then we can watch a different kind of TV TV. Yeah. We can watch some Cartoon Network until 4 o'clock. And then I'll start the game. I see. Okay, that makes sense. And so here's to tie in because I knew we were going to talk about this game next. That would be the tie in like so whatever shall McVeigh does with cam Akers reminds me a lot of whatever Matt Lafleur was supposed to do with the special teams coordinator, you know? Because that was, you know, restraint was under fire all year, you know? And that was kind of that it was sort of that perpetual question is like, you know, you're going to change special teams coordinators, you're going to try to do something here. And if I was like, no, no, no, no, no. And now it's not second guessing, but it's like we're at the point now where does he wish he did something? You know? And it's like this weird, you know, it's this weird thing because it was so piss poor. Like performances from top to bottom, like there were just mile wide cracks left in gaps like guys were just being, you know, turned around and you could tell, I mean, you know, Kyle Shanahan knew that this was they were not the better team. And so it was almost like these guerrilla tactics to try to get back into stuff. And they took aim at special teams as an Achilles heel. And you know, they ended up massively successful, but blows my mind is like you go right from something like the blocked kick and then you come out at halftime and then you kick the ball right to debo Samuel and he runs the ball back to midfield and it's like how can you not go over and shake somebody on special teams and be like, we need to get this thing together because this is it wasn't just the big disasters. It was the very little disasters too that all added up. It was. And again, I think buck and Aikman sometime in the first half made some comment like, oh, Kyle Shanahan thinks he can really get an edge on special teams tonight. They can't always do that and et cetera, et cetera. And you just kind of roll your eyes because did you interview Joe judge or do you interview a college Shanahan? Pregame. But no, when Kyle Shanahan says it, it is true and it apparently just happens. But yeah, I mean, that was so obviously you had the punt block touchdown was the forty-niners loan touchdown. But you know that DO Samuel kick returned to open the second half. That set up the field goal that got the forty-niners on the board. I mean, I don't know, you know, I know the forty-niners score more than three or 6 points in that game without the special teams impact here for the forty-niners or if you're on the Packard side of it the negative side of it. We're going to get to Aaron Rodgers future in just a second. And I don't want to, I'd love tomika Ryan's and obviously he had another great night tonight..

"You have it there in short and the worst case scenario after that is, yes, Tom Brady's getting the ball back and maybe drive for a touchdown. He's gonna have to go 75 yards and 70 seconds with no timeouts. Yeah. It's hard. I mean, you don't know the right way to coach that. I mean, I guess it's situational. And that's why you're a coach, right? Where you learn how your players respond to stuff if you think he's going to get better by basically throwing him off the team kind of for a week and then he'll come back and he won't do anything. That's what you do. But I remember when a Kareem hunt first ever Carrie, he fumbled. It was like a prime time gaming Instagram. Patriots game, yep. Patriots game, yeah. And then Andy Reid just was like, well, whatever, and just gave him the ball back again and let him let him roll with it. If your shot McVeigh, it's, you know, it's a Dan if you do damned if you don't think. I think, you know, Mike vrabel said this when we were in Nashville after the game. And it like hurt my heart a little bit. I'm not gonna lie, but I also thought it was like not the best defense of his, what was going on, but they were asking me, Mike, why did you do this? Why did you do that? And he goes, you know what? What's it like just to make a living second guessing everything? That's what you guys do for a living. And he's like, that's no way to live life. And then I was like, oh, God, you know. It's like, you know, I started thinking about my life, you know? But she's tough. But you know, so in a lot of ways, whatever Sean mcvay does with cam Akers, we're gonna second guess it, and it's not fair because, you know, I think at the end of the day, however, he plays it.

"Thought I got a lot of confidence in seeing the cardinals just beat the crap out of Cooper Cup on Monday and then it didn't matter because you isolated Tyler higbee and Odell Beckham and they just beat you that way. And we'll see what happens there. I don't know if cam Akers has a cam Aker's game against this front and like we've said the Buccaneers run defense is a little bit of a there's a false bravado there. They're very weak on the perimeter. I think that there's ways that you can run on this team, even though the eagles weren't able to. You're not getting a cam Aker's performance, right? So where does that all even out in the middle? I think they've shown they can succeed when you take Cooper Cup out of the game. So I don't know. I'm slightly more confident that I have been in years past. And if you're Sean mcvay too, you have to know that. You have to know that this thing is built for the long haul and you have to build in some stuff. And now you probably can with Matt Stafford, whereas with Jared Goff, what would you have been able to do? Differently, because you couldn't trust him to run any portion of the offense anyway. Yeah. No, exactly. I mean, look, the McVeigh versus bowls side of this is really, I mean, those are two, those are two a list guys going ahead on that side of the ball. On the other side of the ball so my guess is we don't have Tristan worses on Sunday and then Ryan Jensen's kind of up in the air. It seems like Jetson is more likely to play. But either way, you have kind of a banged up bucks offensive line and what you saw last week. There was margin for error just because the eagles number one weren't doing anything offensively. Number two, Tom Brady really had a beat on what they were doing defensively. But you saw some, you know, moments where young receivers were not on the details like Chris Godwin was like Antonio Brown was when they were healthy. And they left a couple plays on the field because of it. There is much less margin for error with his offense here. And look, you're gonna have Jalen Ramsey on Mike Evans. That doesn't mean he's 100% taken away, but it's going to be probably not a 9 catch 130 yard game for Mike Evans at this point. And you have to have some sort of way to figure it out, which, you know, you assume it's heavier reliance on the quick game at this point. If you're going to have to negate what's obviously a really good rams front for against a banged up bucks offensive line. Yeah. If I were Raheem Morris, it's going to be interesting, right? The temptation would almost be to assume that they're going to do that. And as much as, okay, you want to operate at a complaint that Antonio Brown isn't there anymore. But this is a group of personnel that can probably win against a somewhat ravaged secondary that doesn't necessarily tackle well, right? And so you would you would want to rely on that quick game. You know, you would just want to have him get the ball out of his hands and then allow him allow whatever Vaughn Evans, all these guys to just break a couple tackles. And death by death by paper cuts, you know?.

"Are another team like that. A team. And I think the ravens were like that until they passed the point and no return with injuries, but these teams that can win these ugly games where you're like, wow, how did that happen? How do you win a game when Stafford makes the three throws that he made? You usually that's a loss every time. And they pulled it out. I was impressed. I want to put them in there. We have colts, up to -7 over the Raiders, but we can get a little ambitious with the money line. So wait, real quick on cam Akers. Everyone's fantasy championships. It's Thursday. Everyone's like, should I start cam Aker? Please don't. That's a playoff move. Advise against. Yeah. Colts raiders, so the Raiders, I called them the Michael Myers of this season, where we've thought we killed them off three times and we just haven't been able to do it yet. And they're certain types of games, they've been frisky underdogs. Where you kind of know it as it's happening, and then there's other games where you're like, the two chiefs games specifically where you're like, wow, this team blows. Yeah. I like this cold spot. I like that it's a must win game. It seems like we'll have once back in time because they changed the COVID rules. And it feels like the colts can run on them now. Should we be afraid of the Raiders in this game? How are you feeling about colts raiders, colts -7, but just the colts to win if we had the colts money line? Have you been watching hard knocks at all or no? I have not. I'm not saying to go binge it now, but you might want to pick the call to win the Super Bowl watching hard knocks. Like that is how much you love Frank Reich and this coaching staff. They're just dealing with shit from all over. No Quentin Nelson, his response is like, all right, that's fine. We got a really good offensive line. Let's go. They're special teams coach. Bubba ventrone, who is with the Patriots for years on their staff, is like one of these high energy, like nothing can stop us. We can overcome. They didn't have Quentin Nelson, Ryan Kelly, Darius Leonard, or anybody on that offensive line on Saturday, and it was like, it wasn't like, oh, we can overcome it was more just like no big deal. Let's go and let's do our thing and then went and you guys hit it. You and Sal were great on it and I respect you guys giving him credit when he had to make the throw. That was as good a throw as anyone has thrown in the NFL this season and it's like, gosh, if Taylor can still run for a hundred yards with four offensive lineman down and Wentz just has to make one or two throws, this might be the team that finds a way to win no matter what. And I look at this squad what they've been through. They're getting back Nelson. They're getting back Leonard. They're getting back a lot of guys. I don't know if wence plays on Sunday. I've got friends who have been the shit kicked out of them from COVID. And we're just saying, all right, well, there's new rules. 5 days, he'll be 5 days after being unvaccinated with COVID. I'm not sure if he's gonna be able to go Sunday. We'll check in on how he's feeling. Technically he can be out there. But that just is like the story of their season. And I would not bet against them in this game. Not the way. So does that. Does the Wednesday make you want to stay away from this? Are you the way? No, I'm fine. I don't care if it's when 50% or Sam ellinger. I feel like they'll find a way to win. Here's just a quick look for the listeners at the Raiders. The Raiders are three and 5 in their last 8 games. The three wins were the overtime Thanksgiving game against Dallas, which was the worst officiated game. Not only the year, but maybe over the last three years, you have the two point win over Cleveland on the Monday, which was the bizarre COVID game, which they almost lost that one anyway. And then you have last Sunday, which would be better. We took them. We took them and it was more about against drew luck who was this terrible as advertised. And the Fangio drew a combo, which they ran like they ran 40 plays total, which was close to an NFL record of minimum plays. So those are their three wins. There are 5 losses. Lost at the Giants by 7. Lost to the chiefs by 27, lost in the Bengals by 19 lost to Washington by two. Lost to the chiefs by 39. I don't think the Raiders are good. No Waller lost rugs forever. Offensively, it's a lot of Renfro and some Jacobs and then car depending on the quarter. Pretty good pass rush, a couple good guys on the front line. I like that Crosby. Yeah, I like Crosby's Crosby jumps out every time you watch, but it's cool. It just feels like the colts if they're really going to be. That colts also need the game. Yes. It's not like the coasts can be like, ah, yeah, it's sort of this out. It's like a must win for the country. Forget the division. Like, wild card wise. Both teams need it. I mean, the Raiders, I think I could be wrong with the Raiders win out and they've got to win the last two games. I think they make the playoffs. It's a very strange season. It feels like it's been 18 months. It's just been 18 weeks. But I think Colton at home, that place rocking. Nelson back. Leonard back. Sorry. I got to go cults. So we'll have the colts. We're going to team with the rams just on the ravens quick. The ravens are three and 6 in their last 9. They're -48 in those games. They've fallen in 19th and DVA. What's interesting is they be like, well, Lamar's been out. It's not Lamar. It's the defense. They're 28th in DVA defense. The rams are fourth overall. There's 7 6 and 5 in the three categories. And we're going to put the ribs and the colts together. Here's my question for you. Yeah. Rams calls moneyline parley, just they both have to win even money. Plus 100. All right. Or we.

"A guy in my opinion, it's never really fully reached his potential as a running back. And I believe that both him, Sony Michelle and Daryl Henderson junior are two running backs who are going to be elevated by Sean mcfay is really, really creative. Running schemes this year in LA like Sean mcvay's ability to create holes and do stuff on the offensive line. It's unbelievable. And I really, really confident, and so many Michelle's ability. And we've seen over and over again, the same way cam Akers did, he got the NFL looked great. Shawn offense elevates the running backs that play in his offense. I'm excited about Tony Michelle this year along with Darrell Henderson junior. Really, in my opinion this year comes down to how much do you believe in Matthew Stafford the rams and the starting quarterback? This team is very capable of winning a lot of games. I haven't even mentioned yet. They have Aaron Donald, the best defensive tackle in the entirety of how he might even win the defensive player of the year. They have coroner Jalen Ramsey. He's a shutdown corner. He can literally shut down people like DK Metcalf, the receiver in Seattle. He can, and he will shut him down. So the rams last year or a team that was really good, they made the playoffs with Jared Goff at quarterback. In fact, once upon a time, they even went to a Super Bowl. With Jared Goff, I believe Matthew Stafford is a major upgrade on Jared Goff. He makes up with a couple players they lost. They'll be okay to have a much better quarterback now. I just meant I think I can't say this enough. I watched the film of Matthew Stafford. I regret not putting out a film analysis about him. I was a crazy off season. I'm still trying to catch up and finish all my predictions before the year starts. But that's the film analysis, I wish I'd finished because it did all the research. And I just think that Matthew Stanford so clearly, when you watch film, was buried by the media. He was in Detroit, a bad market on a bad football team. So nobody paid attention to how many incredible really good throws this dude made. And he's really going to open people's eyes this year in LA, Matthew Stafford's going to be awesome. It's not very complicated to me. I think Matthew Stafford makes the rams a Super Bowl contender. And you either agree with that or you don't. All right, let's shift gears to the forty-niners. I believe the forty-niners will go 11 and 6 this year. First of all, let's talk about their defense. They have a crazy good front 7. They have two stud defensive ends, Eric Armstead and.

"The touchdown. Don't bother me the receptions do the fact that he was third in line behind malcolm brown. And darrell henderson. The passing game bothers me. And i think anderson is going to be back so i'm not as optimistic as dave is in full pierre and non. Pbr also go all right. So let me lay this out for though The last six games that they've mentioned those includes two postseason games his pace based on those games. I know i do this a lot but i hope it's helpful for you. Three hundred and fifty two carries twenty nine catches and almost one thousand nine hundred total yards. One thousand eight hundred eighty eight total yards only eight touchdowns that was what he was on pace for. In the last six games of the season he was a true workhorse. Twenty nine catches is not that bad. But it's obviously not very good. But that's what he was on pace for a. Meanwhile you combine darrell henderson and malcolm brown in those six games which does not include. Wicks week sixteen. That was a game cam. Akers missed They had a combined thirty touches and cam akers at one hundred and forty-three And they had eight catches acres had eleven catches and the nice thing is that we have this really solid. History of sean mcveigh. When he does things at the end of one season they carry over into the next season. The you think you have to think that he's going to carry over as their lead back next year and one hundred percent yes no. I don't think this. I don't know i think it's unlikely. They run the ball. At the rate they did last year with matthew. Stafford i if you want to run the ball like that. The upgrade of matthew stafford over jared goff's not big. He is definitely someone who can catch passes. I don't know why his big role there over. Let's say thirty five catches for cam. Akers i'm taking the over. At the i am going to take the under because like what we did. There was say percent higher than his ridiculous tastes at the end of last year. So i'm going to say under i it the the rams are going to. I think they're gonna well. The first thing they did was get stafford's they upgraded quarterback. Certainly that'll make them a little bit more open to passing compared to what they had with goff when they were nervous. I think to really let him go at the very least. They'll unleash the quarterback position. I think they're going to try and add some speed at receiver to and we've seen stafford. Lean on running backs out of the backfield before. I think that that's something that they will want. I i think they're gonna wanna get the ball on the cam akers hands. They've gotta be over the moon with him. And i just think he's gonna. I think he's already outclassed henderson. Brown brown's a free agent. They might not even resign them. So there's there's certainly an opportunity here for cam akers to reach worker status and superstar status. Our next stat is about really nick. Chubb but Let me Let me promote a few things real quick by the way fantasy baseball season. All right. it's here. Make sure you're listening to fantasy fantasy baseball. "Yeah i think mckissic's interesting to figure they're going to be trailing in that game and that's usually a very good recipe for jd mckissic. Better in draftkings. Full pr than vandal. Half pr obviously more news and notes for you. Let's take a look at the rams cooper kupp going to play. Jared goff was limited in practice. Hopefully he gets out there. Cam akers practice in full and kind of went on dunno unnoticed but people weren't really paying attention in week seventeen. He had a horrible game but he had twenty three carries. So cam akers forty four yards. Yeah that's that's but he's getting huge workloads and hopefully he's practicing full so that's a good sign maybe a little healthier here. Good chance to score. I'd say against the seahawks all right left. Tackle andrew whitworth also could play this week for the rams washington that'll help their rung in washington could rotate their quarterbacks tampa bay cornerback. Carl davis was limited in practice indianapolis cornerback rockies sin may may not play and stefan digs and cole beasley. Missed practice with beasley being a much bigger concern. There's been an email. I've been wanting to read for a few days and i keep forgetting so here. We go is from patrick. It's email the day wondering if you could make a quick mention of my home leagues donation to saint jude's children's research hospital on an upcoming podcast. Our commissioners father passed away on november thirtieth and we quickly decided as a league to donate all league fees to saint jude's in his memory taking advantage of our employers matching contribution programs. We were able to eclipse ten thousand dollars for the charity in fitting fashion. The commissioners team went on to win the championship. Which is his second since. Starting the league in two thousand eight our commissioner along with others in the league our listeners of the show. it'd be great to hear you guys give bay ville bowl props for supporting each other and a great charity. That's awesome at is terrific. Ten thousand dollars. Thank you so much to your employer as well for matching sorry about your loss. And what a great honor. Your father with a terrific donation. Thank you all right. So the this episode we did last year we kind of looked at some twenty nineteen standouts and we said who is the next blink. So all start with keenan allen. We were down keenan allen. We thought tyrod taylor. We throw past keenan allen for almost the year but who is twenty twenty one keenan allen. Dave wanna go first here. What are we saying receiver with a muddled quarterback situation who ends up being great. Just great over kind of know it could be whatever you look. It could be like mid round receiver. That is great. Not and not a young guy who breaks out but someone that were kind of almost giving up on and we were. Oh actually he's still amazing Or it could be a quarterback thing like you said interpreter has you. I would not. I would not pick like a second. Year breakout but rather a veteran who could bounce back one way or the other. I'd like to know where. Juju smith schuster is playing in two thousand twenty one. If it's pittsburgh. I think there's a i don't know if there's a great chance of him bouncing back to the levels that we saw before but if he goes to another team where he's going to be the number one target and they've got a question mark a quarterback he could absolutely be the keenan allen of twenty twenty one..

"A Rams with the ball down to here's Chuck Hayes. Thanks rich minute 29 left in the half. The Johnny Hekker of the ranch is just punted down Torto Arizona territory. It is the Cardinal seven and the Rams five. The last scoring Cam Akers was on the one yard line ran center first and goal. He fumbled. The Cardinals recovered on the one yard line and then Chris Traveler scrambled out of the end zone, but just imputed left guard. Held in the end zone that gave me the safety so that put the Rams to the number five mark earlier in the second period. Matt Gay at 28 Yard field goal that off a 16 play. 69 Yard Drive, which took 7 43 off the clock, the first score of the day Kris Jeff Miller in for Kyler Murray with an injured Left ankle left leg injury. He had the 11 Yard shuttle pass to Jonathan Ward. Mike Music for the extra 110.2 plays 14 yards, and that was Set up by John Woolford, the Rams quarterback. His first pass in the NFL as a as a quarterback in a regular season game was intercepted by the Cardinals. And it's been a defensive battle. The ransom was bald little bit, though they have 13 1st downs in the in the first half, Arizona struggling only four conversions on third down the Cardinals or one for five. The Rams three for seven. And if you like, punning, uh, the Cardinals any leave four for 50. And Johnny Hackers. 34 40 good punting average is to the better kickers in the game. So a time of possession of ramps 20 minutes in the first half. The Cardinals, only nine. We are under two minutes to play here, and the Cardinals are trying to move down into Ram territory. There's just been a pass interference call against Jalen Ramsey, and he's chirping and arrests on His coverage of DeAndre Hopkins 51 seconds remaining in the first half. It's a Cardinal seven and the Rams five. All right, let's head to David Shuster in Chicago, where it has been the Aaron Rodgers Show. In this first half. The Bears could still get into the playoffs. If they lose. However, they would certainly need some help in L a this afternoon, But right now they're down 11 years, David All right, rich and you mentioned Rogers. He is tortured Bears stands throughout his career, and he's doing it again here this afternoon. He's got three touchdown passes already. He's perfect. So far, 10 of 10 for 155 yards and the three scores. He has definitely spread the wealthier this afternoon, his first touchdown, three yards to Robert Tanyon, his 2nd 8 72 Yard Bob from our keys fell dead. Handling who was behind the Bears defense and its third, a 13 yarder to dominate Daphne, who was all alone in the end zone. Meanwhile, the Bears are threatening their deep in Green Bay territory. We're down to 11 seconds, so del at least probably get a field goal before the half right now, it's 21 10 Green Bay. The Bears are threatening deep in Green Bay territory. All right, let's head the Bruce Morton in Denver, all tied up with two minutes left in the first half. Right now we are at the two minute warning and it is 10 to 10. Denver's touchdown came on a first quarter one yard pass from Drew locked to his tight end Troy Fu Magali in the second Derek Carr through 28 yards to Darren Waller. After a Raider punt. Denver took over on its four but on third and long a pass interference penalty on Vegas extended the drive to the Broncos 16. Denver is now looking at third and five from its 21 2 minutes to go until halftime. Tend to 10. All right, thank you very much, Bruce. Let's said the Christian veteran Kansas City. The chief's looking to close out the season on a high note going after their 15th win. Rich about a minute. You're here in the first half started leading now by 2 16 14 over the Chiefs After a safety eyes of Rochelle back, chat any Indians over safety Theo? Give the charges the leading 16 14 with about a minute 43 left and then the safety fun. Things. Got the ball back right now looking in that leave with under a minute to go, so they got to. They didn't get seven. Had 1/4 and goal with about a minute before to go doesn't hurt kept. It looked for a minute like he got a thing is over. They took a look at it. His left. He was down in his shoulder so he didn't cross the plain. So the Chiefs were able to put a stop there and hold the tide that they had first turnover on dancing at 1st and 10 of their own one Darwin Compton nearly stopped in the end zone for safety. I'm thirsty Jammers and Chad Henny on 2nd and 10. Again pulled down the end zone to the safety of the Chargers. Get the safety 16 14 lead right now. The church is one the top and then the third to the second half, but they will get the ball to start the second half. Chad Henning 12 of 17, the 1 10 and the touchdown doesn't Herbert his throne two touchdowns in this game. 24 for 1, 79 and right now, with a minute left in the game six in the first half, 16 14 started lead over the chief nearing halftime. All right, and the RAM is just with a big play An 84 yard interception return for a touchdown. So Chris Traveler intercepted and it goes together way for pick 6 12 7, the Rams on top. Let's have the Adama Spillane in Houston, where the Titans are trying to Wrap up the F C South today. The Texan is putting on a respectable fight, though so far here is Adam. Yeah. Get 17 9, Tennessee with 10 seconds to go in the first half. Tennessee just got the ball. Had we lost Adam there for a second while we get back at him..

"But he's he's he's a low and starter targets will be there for them but seoul coverage so. I don't think they're going to be scared of josh reynolds. Evangi everson being them. They're gonna try and take robert woods alien and so no van van joseph vance. Joseph is certainly good enough to scheme with probably patrick peterson. Some help to negate what robert woods is gonna do. You know he'll he'll also get somewhere aligns. Grandma's which is which will be nice. But i don't see huge coming for our. What's okay. Two final question sir. Robert woods or malcolm brown. I would go brown a non peer and woods and full dave now okay. Woods and full. Pr brown the second question. If cam akers play these must start. I think that makes things a little bit messy because how healthy is he coming up a high ankle sprain. I'm sure he's a tough kid. Once seen get in the playoffs. But it's more of the emergency guy as opposed to the starter. I i would not want to trust either. Rams running back of acres is playing makes sense all right then and the. Dsp's are in play dave's not very high in the arizona dsp but jamie and heath are and everybody's starting the rams d. t. Twenty twenty one question for this game robert woods or cam akers. Let's go. i think i'm gonna say acres acre. Yeah i don't know. I couldn't come up with a with a good one for this. Game is acres of drake. So drake yeah. The cardinals might be out on drake esther. Yeah he may not come back now. I was. I was going to bring up something about golf. But it doesn't pertain to week. Seventeen so never mind i. Let's go to atlanta at tampa bay. The one team. By the way. When i sit down i do. These game previews system their own style. The team i hate is tampa bay. They haven't been so many relevant players they have a lockdown cornerback boasts weeks..

"Try to send him if he can. Yeah let's not forget the rams sabbath arguably the best defense in football really thought was back last week. I don't know what the heck happened last week. But he's throwing the ball downfield. So that's good. Kenyan drake kenyan drake in his last four games averaging three point two eight yards per carry. He's just scoring if he doesn't score. You're in a lot of trouble here. And he has faced tough matchups in his last four games. The rams the giants the eagles and the niners the rams one of them again. It's a really tough match-up so Who you know you start alexander madison over kenyan drake. I assume as if he plays. Yeah if i give you some wide receivers here. Would you start. Michael gallup over kenyan drake. Npr for sure how about emmanuel sanders. Yup volpi pr. Yes about steelers. Wide receiver drake. No i've got a couple of steelers receivers ahead of drake right now in full. Pp are do. You have any interest in christian kirk this week. No okay but he said. Do you have any interest in any rams this week. Malcolm brown malcolm brown or kenyan. Drake start with that. I like brown butter. Ooh i think we'll listen. If there's no cam akers they're brown should see the majority of not every single touch arizona's run defense hasn't been i believe. Last six games five yards per carry and nine total touchdowns two running backs. So there's an opportunity and the coaches like malcolm brown. They were giving him some pretty big roles earlier this year and the only reason why they weren't getting a big role lately is because of how the other running backs are doing but they're not playing so i think that he's got a chance to get you some good numbers. Yeah this run. Defense stinks lies. They were saying And the rams have the seventh most carries in the nfl. They run with their quarterback being big part of that so they are very heavy. Run team And jamie said no malcolm but you don't really interested in malcolm brown. I'm sorry i thought you said you would not okay so great. So malcolm brown is a top twenty. Four guy yup. I am twenty-first. And i'm thinking about putting him over. Go to get them in the top twenty doll- he's much better than i don't know if he's much better than gio. I don't. I don't know what to think of jio's catch potential. After last week. He had that huge breakout with all those catches. I don't know if that's baltimore. Yeah okay it's not a bad idea to change that..

Cam Akers enjoys career night as Los Angeles Rams puts Boston area's New England Patriots back under .500

"You would say that this was a win win for the Los Angeles Rams, both offense and defense. They had their way They asserted, their will and their dominance in the trenches. So not only were they able to run the ball can makers alone with 171 rushing yards, but also they set up the past. And then, In addition, their defense had no trouble manhandling the Patriots and essentially locking down on Cam Newton and anything that he And the Pats tried to do offensively again. It was a mere 62 yards in the second half for the Patriots.
