The man in mind when they created it, they're at the constitutional convention. It was obvious. It was clear and in many respects, George Washington, did in fact create traditions that we still live up to today in the presidency. And yes at the very beginning there much of that had to do with his character with his demeanor. I think it's also fair to say that much of that went out the window with the second presidency. I'm sorry. John Adams is a great, man. But in terms of his temperament in terms of his demeanor in terms of his stature. I it wasn't quite the same as George Washington. I think it's fair to say, I think with Thomas Jefferson, there was some character questions. About him. I think one could argue that Thomas Jefferson's character was called into question in the way that he undermined president Washington when he was his secretary state and started an opposing political party while part of Washington's cabinet. Some of the underhanded things that he did character wiser some serious flaws there, and we can go on and on. Now that doesn't mean that we shouldn't want our president to have some virtues. Of course, we do. But I don't think that's necessarily a reflection of who we are as a nation is it should it be going back to my original theme here today in pretty much every day. If we can I'm much more interested in what happens in my house. I want my children to look up to their father, not the president. I want my children to look up at role models in our community in our family in our church. Not the guy who's sitting in the White House. I don't live and die by who wins this presidency. Every four years we got to stop this as a country. Getting so obsessed about it. Debbie Calvert county w our next up there on W, a male that's line for their Jeff line for. Hey, hi, Larry. Hi, I do think we are defined by who we are by the rest of the world. I think when we elect a president that was the rest of the world know where the American people stand, and I think in this election, especially we showed the rest of the world that we are going to stand up for ourselves. And that we're tough. And that we're not gonna put up with anything anymore. I think it has changed how we are seen in the rest of the world. Unlike the past eight years, we were solved until willing nilly went. Yeah. It does. It does show who we are. Okay. W? And listen, I go with you on that. I think though, what you're describing is less about the character of the president is a human being as much as number one the policies that he's gonna stand up for that. We're we're not gonna roll over anymore and also some characteristics that he brings to the table, and maybe character and characteristics. Are you know, sort of a? A distinction without a difference. I think when Mitt Romney talks about the presidents character. He's talking about something deeper than than what you've described. You may be right. And and you know, what when it comes to Mitt Romney when it comes to McCain. I don't really hold a lot of regard for what they have to say. I'm with you that my kids are going to be taught about the people in their family their heritage their community people who look up to. But as far as the world goes, I want a strong determined leader. Like, Donald Trump. Thank you, Debbie. Yeah. I I want a president who's going to represent the best interests of this country represent the people who voted for him and put him in that office and carry out the policies that he promised to do by that measure this president so far has ticked a lot of boxes for me. An eye hazard to say, I don't know if president Mitt Romney necessarily would have two years into his presidency. Andrew in Manassas. We'll take you next. You are on wwl hander. Hey well. The young lady who was before me probably said everything I wanted to say I am of the same belief. I I'm with you. I would like my my kids to look up at the president. Or I want them to look up at the president. And honestly, you know, I had one daughter who was my middle daughter who looked up at Bill. He didn't stop the rise of the tribes and everything else. And the other two were like Cam with you. This is just killing me..
