33 dogs rescued from poor living conditions in northeast Georgia, now at Atlanta shelter
"Dozen dogs turned into the Toccoa Stevens County Animal shelter now in the hands of the Atlanta Humane Society. WD wins. Caleb Hutchins has their story. 33 adult dogs were surrendered by the owner of the property, according to a post on the animal shelters. Facebook page Shelter officials say they didn't have enough space of the shelter and they didn't want to euthanize any of the dogs. So they called the Atlanta Humane Society for help. Humane Society agreed to take 29 of the dogs. They said. The animals have been living in two sheds and a trailer and many of them had scars from fighting for food. It's not clear of the owner of the property will face any charges.
