"NBA finals came one plus Calcio giants touch pass to co I for the layup. Just wanted to see who's getting back in defense there. So that is. So there's an instance where Siaka them shows an element of his game that shocked me. Siachen deceit, read the read the cut made AirTouch pass when he is on fire offensively. You would think he's going to take it and go straight up with it. There's no defense for this Nick. That was after a mate. I know they were getting out and running all the time, more Siaca this time on defense with perfect timing to block j months. Shot off the back Nick, you were up on CRM throughout the season specis seasons. Specially as a defensive player I love the comparison. If Toronto had more postseason success. We could talk about him developing Kawai. Well, keep in mind, they drafted him thinking they're going to have to go through LeBron every year. So they drafted him. And the kid OG as guys that could guard LeBron playoff series. And there were people high on him last year. I mean they were high. They were smoking LeBron. Got it more from the finals. Now raptors paint in the war. Warriors one eighteen one zero nine first time the warriors have lost game, one of the finals under Steve Kerr no, Kevin Durant in this one. But boogie cousins did come off the bench gave eight minutes three points. Steph and Klay combined for fifty five points wasn't enough though as the raptors built a halftime lead. They would never relinquish. Still Klay Thompson is sure that Golden State will bounce back. Familiar with this team but does no excuse, you know still. Got to come out here and our goal is to get one and still on the table for us. So I know respond like the champions. We are. I Nick had expect them to bounce back and game to expect them to come back and win game two. If for no other reason than I've never seen them go down to own a series. We've seen them go down three one that series. They split one to one. We've seen them lose a series to Cleveland that series. They were up to we've seen them go down three two in a series of Houston that series. It was one one and that was the only other series they've played where they started on the road. The, the warriors losing two games to start an NBA finals would put them in such an familiar territory. The last three years, they were up to, oh, instead of being not down. Oh to up to I two games the NBA finals. But what do they have to do differently? A lot of it is what we saw on those islands. Chris pointed out. It's one thing to allow transition buckets of along along misstep shoots at three long, long rebound out, and all of a sudden you gotta three onto till transition buckets, after a make shows that you were. We're not ready for the intensity of the moment of the NBA finals, which is a little explicable given the fact that your teams played in nothing but in BA finals like everyone out there's played in these NBA finals for your team for the guys on the other roster. The last time any of them played an NBA finals was Danny green and quiet Leonard five seasons ago. So I expect the warriors to bounce back in game two. I expect him to have a similar game plan for quite Leonard. Now, Basco Siaka all of a sudden is going to be the second best player in the series, then that could change the math for Golden State. But I expect Golden State to at the very least, even if you don't think they're gonna win game two to come out with a better intensity on both sides of the ball..

And they're all leftists. And that's when Dianne Feinstein started carrying a gun a pistol Senator Dianne Feinstein carrying a pistol because lefties were threatening to murder her and her husband. And so in response, she became one of them. That's one way to defeat them is to just join them. If you can't beat them. Join them, you know, the old the old thing. Personally, I'm looking forward to digging into the student loan crisis. It's a crisis. You're right colleges and universities should be regulated. She doesn't know where the bathroom is. Although I think it's right next door to her office. And she she went immediately to pluses offers to join a bunch of lefties who are protesting for green energy or some such thing. Alexandria, Cusi Cortez joins climate protests in Pelosi's office. I just want to let you know. How proud I am of each and every single one of you each and every single one associates barely literate as well. And it is ABC news out the story. Alexandria Cossio Cortes opens freshman orientation by leading protests at Nancy Pelosi's office. She didn't lead it. That's a lie. ABC is lying there. Their fake news. That's fake news before she's even taking the oath of office, Representative elect Alexandria, Cossio Cortez. Joined protesters. At Nancy, Pelosi's office and led a sit in to protest climate change climate change controls. Are there Nancy? Plus, he's office and really that's just the thermostat for her office. But the people are now, I think that if you just the thermostat in rough office at the whole planet changes this is this is just who they are. So she didn't lead it. It was already ongoing. They're out in the hallway they were protesting, then they went and camped and sat on the ground and Pelosi's outer office, she has many offices big offices and a lot of rooms and all that stuff, and then ABC trying to puff up. Her already puffed up phony fraudulent full of lies resume grew up in the Bronx. And all that stuff. They're saying that she's a leader. She's an actually she led the protests. No, no. She didn't activists stormed the lobby of Pelosi's congressional office. That's a lie to they walked in there. Just sashayed and they couldn't storm. They said, okay. Actress storm the lobby of PLC's congressional office and the cannon house office building Tuesday with hundreds more protesters lining the hallway how many protests. Whether dozens not hundreds there were not hundreds. I saw the video. There are not hundreds. They're not hundreds. They didn't storm a Cossio didn't lead the protests other than that. This is a pretty good story by ABC news is John Parkinson. Everything is wrong. Protesters inside the lobby of Pelosi's office voluntarily left and moved a short distance into the hallway after about Forty-five minutes. They sat on the hallway like they didn't sit in the hallway. They sat on the hallway. This is great journalism. John Parkinson consider fast food because this is not really the line of work for you. They sat on the hallway and sang in unison, then it took another forty five minutes for police officers to close the hallways leading to plus these offices and push back. The crowd away from the California Democrat's office. Fifty one people were arrested and charged with genocide and other crimes against humanity. Really? They were charged with unlawful demonstrating in house office building, according to the US capitol police additional charges, including genocide we'll be filed later, and as they lie about everything that they Puffer up. It's good to have PR agency said all the networks towing the line for you. So this other story says dozens of protesters with the group sunrise movement and Justice Democrats were staging the event see this is N T K network. I it's not even America. And they're more truthful than ABC news. There were millions of protesters. It was mostly peaceful, except for the burnings the seconds, the lootings the killings the shootings stabbings, but it was mostly peaceful. How they do that stuff. So Calcio Cortez then she walked in and she like high five and they were doing this. They were they were doing snaps because they're all brain-damaged, and they've been raised like mice gerbils, and and they snap because because clapping could trigger someone and then they would be triggered. And they'd have to be Medicated and dragged away in a straitjacket and thrown in rubber rooms because we've raised generations of mental cases. So there it is. And and and so she goes out in the hallway and waiting for there is that sink. We guys they got sink Wiegert people. Standing out there with young Turks. It doesn't get much farther left than this, and you can tell because they're standing right up next to her and the audio is from the wrong microphone. "He we noticed that. No, no sense of humility, no sense of grace. No sense of. I think we can all learn something and we should tone down the rhetoric now. Now, she's got to fire back and she's going to punch back and she's going to push back. Very Trump is Alex. Andrea Calcio Cortez. Trump. I guess gave her a new name very Trump. Indeed. We're gonna. We're doing more on that. I wanted to share this though, I wanted to make sure I had this out there. Regarding GM because there was this this weird rumor that was going around. And it's turns out it's there's there are a couple of people in on the rumor. I think it's kind of interesting, but I have absolutely no way of knowing. If it's if it's in any way, true, how how in the world would I? You know, it's like those people who want to claim that nine eleven was an inside job I fire melts steel, stop it fire melts. The'll do you know why? Why? Because it's the only thing that does. Fire heat melts steel, this is not surprising. Let's let's not be. Let's not be silly. The Washington Times writing that Trump is urging General Motors to close plants in China instead of Ohio. Of course, he is last thing he wants his plans closed in the United States goes against his on mantra of building American an American manufacturing. But when you take a look at where the plants are closed, its, Ohio and Michigan. And then there's there's the one in Maryland one Canada. Ohio and Michigan to states that were extremely important to putting President Trump into the White House. So there's this theory now that the closings were done politically to hurt Trump that way they can build out of the blame Trump concept. I mean, there's even a theory that China's involved, it's just total madness. Right. It's insane. And there's not an ounce that brings any credibility to it. But man, oh, man. Democrats better better not embrace this. If Democrats are embracing that these plant closings are good for Democrats in two thousand twenty they're gonna feed the fuel. They're going to be the fuel that this. This rumor feeds on. And two things can happen that are detrimental to the Democratic Party. One is backlash you close plants you ruin people's lives for your political game backlash would be massive. And here's the other one. You would know for certain the craven Ness of these progressives. The people are pawns the ends justify the means. Nothing is out of bounds. You don't matter your kids, don't matter, and they hate you. That's what it actually be telling you. There. They can't be seen as saying, you know, good on good on. These these closings proves Trump. Did this that.
Despite drama, Tesla is still very popular with young workers
"We did not intend for cars to be the theme of the program today. But the news is what the news is GM. We did right Laos restructuring getting ready for electric and self driving cars, but over a certain electric first car company, the resumes are piling up faster than the company can handle them. Tesla was one of the most popular companies with younger workers last year. Calcio wrote about it. She covers the workplace for Wall Street Journal. Welcome in the program are having me tesla. It turns out is an amazingly popular workplace with young technically minded people. Go figure that out. It was surprising to me as well. Because the impression that I've gotten that. It's a really frantic place to work. I've talked to people who haven't taken a single vacation in two years by people love it not to buy farther into the Elon Musk cult of personality, but how much of that is because of what he represents which is at some level changing the planet. That's a really great point for all of the drama that has follow. Yuan mosk. It doesn't seem to have dimmed his star much. With engineer minded, you know, big problem solving idealistic you wanting to fight climate change type students and new graduates. He seems kind of like a rebel rockstar figure. Chuckle. No. I mean, it's a little it kind of is. So this is it's a company with Ted quarters in Palo Alto, right in California. The plant is down in Fremont sort in the south bay there in San Francisco Bay, but it's not your typical fund tech startup, right? I mean, this is an assembly line factory plays. Now, not a job where you have beanbags and ping pong tables. This Silicon Valley dream looks very very different than being kind of like a cog in the machine at Google or Facebook where you would come to expect beanbags or, you know, free food at the very least. And there's nothing resembling that at tesla, it's really a car manufacturer and a battery maker at the end of the day. Does it look good on the resume though? Is that part of what's going on here? Not for the job funding next job. Ryan. Yeah. Folks have told me it's really kind of like money in the Bank. You work your butt off give up any semblance of free time, or you know, like work life balance solve these really, really. Complicated problems that no one is attempting. And I think that's really exciting to folks you want to make a difference in the world. There's a great anecdote about this woman who found this tweak in the assembly line. And and yes, so tell us that store. So this is a a woman named a new show who's doing her MBA right now at Carnegie Mellon University. So she's an MBA intern a bunch of business school students who are on the manufacturing assembly line, and she comes up with this idea for a way to tweak the workflow process. She's like, oh my gosh. I'm gonna make a presentation I'm going to put together a PowerPoint and bring everyone together and people seemed into it. They're like, yeah. That's smart. We should definitely do that. She's like great. Let's do a follow up meeting next week, and we can touch base with the management and see if they have a plan for rollout. And she was told by her manager. No, let's just do this now and implemented tomorrow, and that was super exciting for her. I mean, I think that was really the highlight of her summer, and you can kind of see the way in which that idea is really beautiful that promise of. Being able to just step into the job and do your best, you know, fix whatever you think needs fixing it's probably a little bit different. If you're like forty five, and you have lots and lots of years putting together automobiles and you're being told what to do by the intern

"Weeks in the Trump era when we don't just have bombshell political story after bombshell straight. I'll just all my gosh. The world is ending. It's been the election stuff, and we'll get to talk a bit of a policy this week. Isn't that exciting? I'm going to discuss immigration where the administration stands right now on that also discussed the status of the Mexican drug cartels, and the Chapo Guzman trial have very interesting guest joining the show later on that one. I want to get right to it. Because I think the single biggest issue right now faces the country. The the number one issue is I was gonna say climate change just a mess with you guys. But the number one issue is the drift toward socialism. I think it's the single biggest concern we should have as a country because it really goes to the very foundation of the ideology that this country was founded on in our constitution. And it is a version of collectivism that erodes. Our individual rights, and what is most special about this country or individual liberty and our devotion to that as a political entity as polity. The formidable Thomas soul one of the great minds on the right who the left has always pretended like did not exist. He said the following about socialism, the strongest argument for socialism. Is that it sounds good? Strongest argument against socialism. He's had it doesn't work. But those who live by words will always have a soft spot in their hearts for socialism. Because it sounds so good. He's absolutely right. Socialism as an ideology makes the people who are espousing it feel righteous. They feel good about themselves. They feel like they are kind and thoughtful and moral and that their ideas will mean that people are better off than healthier happier. Unfortunately history shows that that's not true. History shows that. Long-run? Socialism is always doomed to failure and many times in the short run. It can create tremendous misery. And also, you look at some of these countries that they point you as successes. When the democratic socialism they'll point to some of the countries in northern Europe. For example, these are very small countries that were very wealthy before they tried socialism. Very well off before that on a relative basis. And had a tremendous amount of social cohesion. You know, how to basically a one hundred percent literacy rate before the these were very very wealthy societies that. As we also have adopted many free market and capitalist policies. They just have a large welfare state, but they're not socialists in the sense that they don't have the government in control of industry and the government making all the decisions about who will do what? And where in the commercial sector. So they're not truly classic social democratic socialist. Okay. But we're heading in that direction. Now, if we do not put a stop to this nonsense from the left. Uh-huh. Calcio Cortes is. Now, the youngest ever will soon to be she has not technically taking her seat, but she will be the youngest ever member of congress. And she is a something of a folk hero on the left. And I'm telling you right now, they want someone like oh Calcio Cortez to run for the presidency. They really do. They don't care that. She doesn't have a background in politics. I'm not saying we'll be her. But they want someone like her. They don't care that. She doesn't know anything about policy or politics really in terms of what works. She speaks with the twang of the leftist.
