"To tell you more about this misunderstood prospect, the other top prospect to discuss for that stroz is outfielder Cal Tucker who did make his major league debut last season during the summer. But unfortunately, it didn't didn't do a whole lot to impress in law, people were doubting, his potential well Ince's off, as you may know Hughes a key. Trade candidate for potentially JT room. We told which obviously didn't come to pass Huston. But Tucker still holds a law potential. He's, he's demonstrate his ability, hidden each step of the minors, and even by with some by some metrics. And in the majors last season was actually just quite unlucky. He hit the ball hard. He just he hit the ball, ROY fillers. He'd nothing just quite went. Right. He just had a few bad breaks. He, he has the potential to really be a force Vasteras was liable long-term in, I think a lot of people are anxious to see him getting their chance this season. Even if he'll start the year on AAA with Rammer express due to the vision of Michael Brantley. All right. Next up on the prospect list forest Whitley Astros prospect, drafted in two thousand sixteen currently injured expected, a arrive in the majors this year, although he has had a rough triple A season. Cody Pogue is here to talk. More about Las store with the Astros. Number one prospect right now, which is Ryan pitcher force Whitley the young righty who spent the majority last season either all suspension or dealing with injuries pitched sparingly and twenty team. But still show, the law of the positive results that make him a one of the top prospects in baseball dash was hoping he can to take over similar roles. David price last year, you know coming out of the bullpen laying the season the postseason. But fortunately that never materialized go into the twenty nineteen he has opportunity to really make a name for himself a wall. He. As stores a year in route s was neutrally affiliate, everybody specimen to be up at some point this summer to compete for one to starting roles. He's a pitcher who can reach up to the upper nineties on his fastball features. I so twelve six breaking curveball. If you other secondary offerings that everybody seemed to be enthused about if he can harness all this potential. He is potentially be one of the front-line starters Houston for the foreseeable future starting to get the guys that are already in the majors and Nixon's Ellas no exception. I mean, the guy is just crushing the Boston's coming up for the reds big, big piece of this feature along with Taylor, traumatic who we talked about in the previous top ten since L can do it all. I mean he can play any position on the infield that you ask him to. And this is a guy that Cincinnati Reds fans are going to be very, very happy to see in the years to come. This is the guy that can do it all. And this is the future face of your franchise once the vodka era ends, and here is Crisanto to talk more. Nick Zell hit tool seventy he hit everything that's thrown at him. The powers fifty five run is fifty five the arm is sixty field. Sixty overall sixty again another perennial all star. But the question is worse. He gonna play third base. You have swore his second base. Right now, scooter Jeanette. He's another one that could play center field. The reds have tried him in the corners..

"Back. Listening to Paul finebaum show podcast. Welcome back. A lot of games going on. In Casey tonight, Auburn in UNC, and of course. Kentucky in Houston. Airman Kyle Tucker out there to give us the latest during the break college. We say Hello to you cal- pontiff equating about PJ. You're there. What is the latest as we say? Hello. I I I think intentionally lifted a little Vistide, you know, he was out there. We saw him in the little sliver of open practice yesterday. Jogging a little bit some free throws not doing a whole on. Practice, but he was out of out of the chaos and out of the booth off the scooter incident, that's all obviously encouraging after he was sideline last week in Jacksonville and the first couple rounds. But I my guess is that he's very limited to I think I would rule out even not playing at all as a possibility. I'd be stunned if he played in cal- tear used the word stunt it said if he played if you looked great you might play in fifteen eighteen minutes, but he'd be started. If he played more and also said he wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play at all. And I don't think that's a, you know, I don't think that's saying he implying games. That's kind of what I had situation. It's a pain tolerance thing. It's still hurts a lot. I thought the most important thing Perry said yesterday was that the doctor told couldn't hurt it. So that's you know, that's the one sort of. I think encouraging piece of this is if he can get enough whatever pain. Medicine, or if they can get enough adrenaline, or if he can just say I'm gonna I'm gonna deal with this pain, maybe you can help them. But I have to believe that he hadn't played in two weeks. He had practiced until yesterday in that time that he could come out there and give them a bunch of minutes and be productive because he's going to be in pain. So I think if he plays he plays just just a little bit. Let's talk about what the impact of that is we've seen it through to a couple of games already the first weekend. But this is different Houston's certainly an elevated in an elevated class than what we've seen in in the first and second row where does it affect Kentucky? The most. Well, I think it affects them I talked to a lot of the Houston guys yester-. They're they're preparing as if he's gonna play. And I think it's easy to adjust it doesn't. But you can't you can't prepare like he's not gonna play their best players of all American, and they all talk that he spaces the because pizza the reason he became an all American this year, at least part of it is that he truly became a stretch for guys can pull this ban out from the basket and attack them off the dribble. Good passer. Get other guys all the draws a defense, or if you leave him open he's gonna knocked out three shot over forty percents and three this year. He became a true, you know, multifaceted threat. And so it opens up the floor for everybody else. Not there. They don't have another guy like that. There's not another troop stretch for other Austin, or or at least one who has demonstrated could be good at that. Didn't they have just to kind of traditional post players, and there I think probably easier to defend I think what we saw from them in Jacksonville demonstrate that they you know, they they squeaked by Wofford without PJ Washington. And this is an even bigger challenge. Cal Tucker talking about the second game college talk about the first game because it's intriguing on many many levels Auburn in USA. Of course, should Kentucky, prevail. They'll get the winner that game..

"Tomorrow and every day for the rest of your natural life ward damn eagle, ever good. But nervous about what happens beyond my natural live. I may will still be knocking on my door. He will who's that knocking? Rob is up next. Rob go right ahead. You're on the air. Hey, thank you for taking my call. Do. Thank you. Hey, I wanted to know what he's out of that Hollywood like interview after the game when she threw the team under the bus saying they had to do more on their own time. And that they had to come back and start a new coach or I don't see how he's going to do it after seven years wanted to know what you thought about that. And what was her name Westbrook? She said that the off court stuff from the staff was getting to be ridiculous, and she wouldn't say any more. And I wanted to know what you think about Fulmer is he going to our real ringer of coach or really try to hire another assistant. I don't know what coach Volmer is thinking he has yet to make a public comment on a hollyw- early situation. I mean, I think it's time to make a decision not my decision to make what it is. But but I think the longer this drags out. And I have a hard time believing. It's going to drag out very long. I'm sure they have a plan up there. Yeah. And I know everybody seems to get real upset when a male cokes those team under the bus. But that's exactly what holiday did. And it burned me up and one more thing. I'd like say congratulations to Rick Barnes and the Tennessee vol's. I think they're gonna make the phone afor hope so they deserve it. Appreciate the call more to come. Dan, dockage Cal Tucker, Bruce Pearl among our guests as we're we're still young in the show on a Monday. We'll talk to Dan dockage, what kind of job is Alabama. Welcome back. Glad you're here. And we're working our way through with the bucket, the Wildcats and what they're dealing within the PJ Washington conundrum with call Tucker, Bruce Pearl in the final hour. We are busy today. And understandably, so let's check in next with Kevin who's up on the phones at Hello. Kevin from Alabama. Hey, how you doing Paul? We are doing great. Thank you up. Think. Auburn will be nor clown. North carolina. Thanks. Kevin preset. You chime in gem is up next in Michigan. General all great great. I'm still trying to figure out who read Bernie drivers like to them. Well, you know, apparently, maybe Kentucky has different requirements than the states that I've lived in. Well, I'm L A. You all the way, and I'm wondered if their cars and cell phones now in Kentucky. Kentucky. I think is pretty contemporary in that regard. Yeah. Well, I'm up here in Michigan. And I graduate of L S Q eighty one. So you know, what we've been going through with that basketball team. No mutt. Yeah. I got my new black FCC shirt on and I'm LSU out head to toe, and I'm state fans here habit fall. There would be amazing to see LSU cut. The nets down in the lower the banner or I mean, raise the bed. Hey, I think it if possible their teams that were good is LSU that beat them this year. You're right. Well, Jim best wishes up there in Michigan with all those Michiganders' Richard is in Tennessee, you're on the air. Hello, richard. Hey, how you doing? We're doing great, sir law. What you've got a great program. I talked to you about two weeks ago about Holly and a. It was a Sunday or yes. Going for. It was in yesterday's paper. I've never heard Tele..
Kentucky star PJ Washington in walking boot for 'precautionary reasons'
"Talk a little more about the university of Kentucky's upcoming journey to the NC double A, hopefully, final four for them. But so we do have some reason at least to pause nothing cataclysmic Jewish yet. But according to the school, he is in a walking boot and has been at least and Sunday night. This is for precautionary reasons. The school will not add anything else to that Cal Tucker and others tweeted this out there in Jacksonville. And they'll be some more comment. It's it's impossible to jump to too many conclusions. Yeah, you put somebody in a boot for precautionary reasons. But there's very often a reason why you put someone in a boot. It's because there is something going on with the foot the ankle or. Or more. So that that is something we'll follow very closely. I think cats can certainly negotiate Abilene without him. But who knows after

"He's drop back in pass coverage under twenty five time, how many more could he have I I hadn't even thought about that. That's a really good point. I, you know, they drop impasse coverage a lot they basically drop him in pass coverage on any rundown. And then he sometimes goes in pass coverage based on formation, but to be that much. It makes a good point. I don't know how many of those times, obviously, if they're in a rundown than most of the time. Maybe those situations they wouldn't be throwing the ball. But your point is valid like he's a pass rusher. Leading the nation in sacks same amount as Georgia. He doesn't even rush on everybody. Exactly. So call he's special Marcus spears said is best defensive player in the country either. He's the best defensive player in the country. It's also great story because to star me as a kid nowadays Kentucky does it take to stars. I could be wrong about this. But not counting stoops's first class, which he threw together very quickly when he got here. I think Josh Allen might be the only scholarship to star that he's taken. I could be wrong about that. If there's more it's not more than one or two. He basically has taken the vast majority threes. Some fours one or two fives. But I think Josh might be only two star. And I think there's a really good case to be made the he might be the best player stoops's at which is really really unbelievable. Yeah. He's now particularly the seventh picking the draft. I mean Amy's the lowest rated recruit, but I'll say this. I always give them a shout out to my man. Freddie, Freddie, told me on signing day, he was special, and I was like, Freddie. He's a two star. You've been being football too much. But Freddie, new, and that's why he's on the UK staff, and I'm sitting here taking your phone calls who's next? Sebastian. How're you Sebastian? Yeah. Football. Gonna make you. It's funny. We're having all the success. It's happening. Absolutely. We all believe we'd have to have success in that we thought with my buddies about that he was like, well, whatever femur. Decentral special teams. It's a whole lot like beamer bowl. Like some of his better Virginia Tech teams running quarterback. You know? Yeah. Listen, I thought at Florida state. I think I think Cal Tucker today analogize this team to Frank to beamer ball, and that's a good analogy. But I'm with you. I said for years for years Kentucky could only win in the SEC if they played gimmicky. I just didn't think there was any other way. And clearly they've shown me that. I'm incorrect. Second point was kinda rolled into that. They're one of the reasons I like our chances better than some people. Hell way that you'd be Tom graves career? And the answer is you got the pressure was people have been watching. We're really good at that. Because you don't know where the fourth is coming from a lot of times, you don't get caught on the screens. Are you guys running free much that way? Now, you're right, and listen they're gonna have to put pressure, and it's going to have to come. They're going to have to hide it. It's got to come from unique sources if they do that. I think they have a really good chance. If you watch the Georgia games this year when I was on finebaum today. They had Georgia beat reporter the basically said the teams that have given Georgia problems were the ones who could get to the quarterback and make him make quick decisions. And hopefully, we'll be able to do that tomorrow. Well, I'm headed to the game tomorrow. So. Hopefully fall asleep. Good luck. I'm pretty amped up to how we how many of us. Go sleep. I'm not sure anybody Tim EMC is leaving the building. That's how excited he is. Who's next? Tryst Tonga's Damian from a swindled New York Kentucky, big Blue's. They hit your from wear. Suede gold, New York swig all New York. Yeah. Kentucky..

"So they have let's see they move forward and they have zero flaws. No, plus. Yeah. I mean, I still think the esters just going by talent where the best team in baseball this year results. Wise Red Sox definitely the best. But in terms of I don't know if you simulated the season a million times, or whatever I think the Astros are the best team. So yeah, you're starting from the pinnacle. Okay. So it's another hundred win team next year. And I think just because of the way the time works players declined randomly players get hurt. I think you have to start docking winds starting in twenty twenty. But I mean, the Mariners are not going anywhere. Good. The angels are going to take a little while. Plus, they're gonna lose Mike trout, potentially down the road range was gonna take a long time. Like, the Astra's definitely the favourite twenty nineteen probably the favorite twenty twenty. Right. And it's not just taking the major league restor. That's the thing. It's taking also Cal Tucker. And well, Jess James is in the majors. Now that you know, some of the top prospects. Who there are guys on the forty men who have not played or barely played in the majors who are promising players. And so as guys on the active roster decline and get older a few of those guys at least will be getting better and replacing them. So they kind of have some internal replacements. I mean, maybe you'll have some pitchers who have like career ending injuries. And and that sort of thing, but you're getting some some reinforcements arriving for a while here. Yeah. I mean Marwick Gonzales they have like sort of like a backup shortstop and also the backup to the backup chores up to the backup is Alex bregman JD Davis and AJ read and they have like like Francis Martinez. The okay, I think maybe man I wanna say twenty twenty two would be the first year they wouldn't win ninety games. And then okay from there, you know, they'll they'll just get worse. But even that, I'm not that's just I can't point to anyone in particular. That's just guessing that you know, pitchers will end up hurt worse because that's just. The way that pitching works. But there's also the chance and maybe the maybe it's not. But if there's one team in baseball who's probably like starting to figure out by mechanics hits the Astros. So like, maybe they're even better than the average cement keeping their own pitchers healthy, Lance mccullers junior side, so something to keep an eye. Remember, we haven't even mentioned that ain't Brad peacock? He's had like one of the best strikeout. Rates and baseball and was left off the playoff roster because they're so good. So yeah, it would be a long time. I'll say like twenty I'll say twenty twenty four be the first year. They're just not a good team. Okay. Yeah. So this year yesterday had as slightly below league average, adding age and had a pretty old pitching staff actually their pitching staff was thirty years old on average. You know, you you have for Lander in there. You have some guys like that not that the full season age averages perfectly represent their current forty men, but twenty twenty. Four. Okay. I mean, if we say like, including the forty man their average age rate now as a team would probably be like what twenty five or something like that? So you know, you figure like in twenty years they're like forty five on average. They're all Arte Cologne age, and assuming they're not all is well preserved as Rafael Palmeiro like they're going to be two thousand three Tigers. They're going to be worse than that. At that point. You're going to have lost a lot of players. You're gonna have you're gonna start to have trouble actually fielding a full roster for a team or a season. So. There's probably like a point where Paco's league if we're talking like lowest level of Indy league. I mean, we could be going like twenty years, right? At least because there are issues. There guys will not be majorly quality there will guys who will be super old but most players in the Pecos league in their in their twenties..

"This is a way different subject, but there is a PBS special premiering tonight, in fact, called the greatest hitter who ever lived as documentary about none other than Ted Williams as part of the American Masters Series. And interestingly, there's a young man who kind of in a weird way played Ted Williams in the documentary. They had some scenes where they needed a guy, kinda swinging a bat and looking like Ted Williams, who was the stand in for Ted Williams. And it is Irie how much the Astros rookie outfielder Kyle Tucker looks like. Did we ABS? He's got that long. Thin billeted had especially early in his career. He's got that left handed swing. He doesn't wear batting gloves. The whole thing in this is how stupid I am. So he comes up to the big leagues, George Springer yelling at us. Do you call him Ted, you call him Ted and I just thought, okay, you know he's tall and skinny. He's a left-handed hitter, Ted Williams. Got you. Got you. Okay. Instead I didn't realize that he actually has been Ted Williams and will be a stand in for Ted Williams on this PBS American Masters Series tonight on Ted Williams. I can't wait to watch it. I bet it's really well done. Now. There was a coal store in the New Yorker about the the background of talker being involved in in basically the the producers of the movie are are looking for somebody an Email contacted MLB just saying, we're having trouble finding somebody resembles Ted Williams immediately. They should back note. Look at this Astros prospect, he's six, four hundred ninety pounds. Ted Williams often mentioned in his scouting reports and look at his slow MO swing in this video, and they send the video and they were like, that's it. That's the guy. That's perfect. So pretty cool thing for college Hooker newly promoted to the big leagues. Cal Tucker, no less. So a lot of cool things going on his realm. These days Richard, it's a new week. What do you watch in this week? I'm going to start tonight. I'm gonna watch the dodgers Phillies tonight. I wanna keep watching Manny Machado. I wanna just watch the evolution of the Phillies they've been. They played great lately won thirteen out of twenty mclintock's going out and trying to get him some pitching. But this is a good week. You know, the nationals Burs play. We keep waiting for the light to go on with the nationals. The Rockies come home and have to against the Astros and then a series with the as they play great lately. So it's it's a good week of baseball yet. I'm just a hyper focused on the trade market right now. So paying attention. Cole hamels start Monday night against the Atlantic's. Obviously a very good team playing well are the as and hamels is one in two with a nine point, five, three era. In one point, eight, eight, whip in his last four starts that's not going to get it done. We know hamels pedigree, postseason pedigree that is so because see him go somewhere where he's got a shot at a World Series rang, but he's got a pitch better quite frankly. So we'll see a small samples. Can be a big deal this time of year. So we'll see how he rebounds. If rebounds tonight we'll be back on Wednesday for the usual funding gains with Richard Justice. My thanks to him. Thanks to Anthony komo's for joining us today and to our producer Mersa Morris. We'll be back soon. Have a great day. Everybody..

"So this is the perfect time to do it because you can find out exactly what we have entitled tucker at this moment in time before you headed off into the play i'm just glad it's done i will say that given what we've seen out of cal tucker and his first two starts it was nice that he got his first hit out of the way after an almost four strikeout performance on saturday but we did see the difference between he and jake marina yesterday when he played i thought a the ball very well on on on a ball that went off the wall he played it off the well great but then he tried to throw it in and he completely botched that is that something we're going to see a whole lot of are we going to see a lot of defensive issues with cal tucker and how much does it hurt you i've always been curious would does it really matter if you have a defensive liability in the outfield is a great hitter in left field as it depends it depends on the specific game there's going to be games where he's in a cold speller slump and then those defensive liabilities are going to loom large likewise jake moore's and a k you recognize the defensive strengths when you're in the ninth inning and a one run game you'll hey that's exactly why it's out during the pinch running and whatnot but when you're at a deficit or the other team has a surge that all of a sudden you're just gonna show up it's a lot harder to is the one thing about analytics without getting too analytically about this stuff there's a lot harder to quantify exactly how much defense helps because it's a lot easier to measure something that happens like offense versus preventing things that could have happened so a lot of times even with jake maricic i love jake moore is nick on many different levels some of which makes me uncomfortable handsome hair but but it's also like you can't counterbalance that strikeout rate by any amount of defense when you're and you have to sit you can't do a certain degree but at the end of the day it comes down to alright offense offense can i say offense wins baseball game so we talked about this before we went on vacation i mean he's he's he's perfect off the bench and you mentioned the to mike he's he's a better camera and may been for the playoff now that we're here he's going to be added to the expanded roster yeah and that's my thing here's my quick take on defense that you mentioned i thought he looked a little bit awkward defensively on saturday and sunday but i can't sell that's because he actually looks awkward as human being like he just he looks like younger than he actually is you talk you talk about the difference in looks between those two kyle talker may be one of the best young prospects in baseball jake moore is nick is one of the most dashing and handsome men in baseball replaced by what can only be described as the human version of an awkward colt i guess like yeah yeah he's like in that high school does your pretty like palomino racehorses or anything though but like like one of those weird horses he did look awkward playing in left field but i don't know that's because he's playing a new left field minute maid which can be weird because of the crawford body in that little crevice through which play a couple of times which looked strain that's one of the things that was keeping him down triple eight the two were his defense weakness weakness is they wanted to work on his defense which fans never wanna hear they they just they look at the slash line like why is he not up here well like there's other things going on here so what do we agree that soccer probably is the most interesting thing going on with the team right now yes and he'll be monitored closely obviously especially as long as everything else is going so well with everybody else yeah he'll be in the line of every single day and.

"Better record right now than the yankees and red sox who they're chasing in the american league for the one in the two spot and of course one of those teams is going to end up the one the other one is going to end up playing in a play in game in the wildcard that's just the nature of baseball these days but i i honestly feel that kyle tucker being called up especially when he's actually hitting pretty wild think is is up to eight hundred or something like that i think he had two hits last night too it's gotta be coming soon a texter cal talker will be a super to cool i just want to bring them up now i get that it'll be up can't we bring them up now why not why can't we bring them up now just because of that that's it cy up late watching watching after the show's done and astros angels game and even though the angels and the astros are are going back and forth in the american league west right now which is not a pushover division though it will be a little easier with robinson cano probably out close to the remainder of the season for the mariners like once he gets back from that injury that he suffered then he has to serve the eighty game suspension disease likely done for the year but i i i want some cal tucker i do i'm sorry i i know i know i know money money money money money saving money all that's up i want the best team possible i don't want to watch a bunch of limp you know what's heading i don't i don't wanna see it jake moore's fade wow they're making they're bringing in tony cap okay well let's just another minor league guy i don't expect a whole lot out of galante night on sports radio sixty seven one three five seven two four six tenths how you call in it's how you text into on the dwi attorney dot com text line.

"Do we get lamar tweets how the hell with the championship comes higher expectations when the empirical data shows that teams typically fall off after that sounds like meltzer lamont stop talking about this in a rational manner talk about this from the manner we should all have expectation we should all have going forward yeah the odds repeating or low but they have the talent to do it this isn't this isn't like a giant speeding the patriots in super bowl forty two this isn't this isn't some once in a lifetime kind of run that's not happening they're that good i mean they're they're worst case if you're someone that covers baseball you cover all these teams you're never saying that this team is lower than five that's the absolute lowest you could put them at five that means they have a very good chance to repeat i get all the empirical data all that stuff i do i know it's really hard to repeat baseball it's only happened a handful of times in history i get all that all i'm saying is i don't like the shrugging about it stop shrugging about these dressed by the astros at some point soon the closure situation the bullpen situation the situation all those things need to be addressed one of those things you could wait for with the hitting situation cal tucker is eventually going to be up on this team it's not gonna happen overnight it should whatever brandon and i go back and forth on this i understand the arbitration at least there's a valid rule there the bullpen you don't have to panic but you have to start thinking about the solutions because clearly defined ski had issues harris had issues giles obviously has his she issues there are so many guys that are dealing that are going through some sort of a spell struck about it and say yeah can't do that go on at night sports radio six ten seven one three five seven two four six ten you want to weigh in on this if you feel like it's okay to just collectively shrug your shoulders at the astros struggles which again how domestic fourthbest best team in baseball please add it several and three five seven two four six cents how you text in the dwi attorney dot com text tweet me and says facebook dot com slash paul galon sports up next on.

"For the astros and their lack of offense and someone texted in about bringing up kyle tucker which they won't do but i'm not i'm starting to get on to you they will not do fine fine you you can be fine with that here here's how i feel i will i will beat the drum for it i will beat the drum i will apply pressure on the astros you wanted it won't happen at the earliest june seventh because that's when it's contractor rollover another year june seventh june seventh or twentyfirst there's not an exam eight june seventh the twentyfirst i want him to come up i wanted to come up as early contract rolls over another year they're not going to go before then no matter what they should do it anyway so were the same thing that was career i know and and the wait for carreira other player was the worst the weights the weights still bad right i want something new man i want something new i want fine i still wanted brandon i i don't care what's going to happen brandon i still want it bring up call tucker free cal tucker are the astros are the are the astros in keeping kyle tucker imprisoned by forcing him to play in the minor leagues yes that's the answer that's the answer to that question and that's the take that's it he is in prison right now essentially up next on the radio program i get sucked into these terrible sports conversations in the last twenty four hours and i've spent way too much in my life still fighting the debate of these sports conversations i'll tell you about those debates and we will talk about the worst debates and sports.

"I would be working on that after the game as much as i can't get the pitching machine or something like that and trying to bump out nobu also text in their fissured and show me bleep in the first game well earth them until he didn't play in play that's why that's why that's why didn't show you anything i'm not a big derek fisher guy brandon puerta who was producing the last two nights does like derek fisher i'm okay with moving on from derek fisher i mean if he's not even playing on a night like tonight jake moore is in your opening day lineup which is attached surprising i mean that is a ballpark in arlington's ballpark does feel cavernous so maybe having meriva can center and springer in right rightfielder optimizes your defense and redican left field too instead of in right field like you typically is i was surprised that the way that they work the work the actual outfield out for this game but i'm not the biggest derek fisher guy i wish cal tucker was on the opening day roster tucker is playing incredible baseball i don't know what he did today but i don't i don't know if minor league baseball open today either but i'm a big fan of kyle tucker and i wanna see cal tucker as quickly as i possibly can it's a lot at night sports radio six seven one three five seven two four six ten to call in text in to do you got any takes on the astros season opening four one way and one hundred sixty two pitches it's coming tweet me alkaline says and facebook dot com slash paul golan sports.

"You want to have him under control as as for for as cheap as possible for as long as possible especially seeing as you have guys that are going to get max kneels in the future by max deals i mean deals that are going to get bigger and bigger as time goes on career is going to get a huge deal springer could get a huge deal dallas kyko theoretically could get a huge deal i'm curious as to what justin verlander will get what his contract runs out maybe you'll still end up pitching for the astros maybe he'll end up going somewhere else so you wanna have them under control as long as possible but i feel like he could start in left field right now like i like him better than derek fisher i understand that right now you are dealing with you'll ese gary all being injured and on top of uliaski grill being injured he suspended as well so you have a little bit of time before you put marin gonzales out there or something like that but i'm looking at cal tucker cal tucker i feel like gives you the ability to trade one of the assets that you currently have at the trade deadline to maybe get the big time bullpen arm that you do not have and i think tucker i want him on the roster right now i'm honestly back to where i was and it's funny because we're talking about the defending world series champions back to where i was when carlos correa was on the verge of getting called up i just want to see him get called up twenty five other major league teams may have on on the opening day roster the astros have the luxury of being really good not being a bad team obviously being the defending world series champions so they don't have to put them out there and i honestly as the the best thing that they should do right now is what they're doing even though i want him out there and i'm impatient and i think that he earned with the play that he had in spring training roster spot recognizing that you're the impatient astros fan that i am looking at the three guys they have dialed in at first base with uliaski disciplinary spencer but this suspension for what he did with you.
