NFL WEEK 3: Our official predictions for who wins this weekend

"So. I gave talk about. Obviously a game that still sits our my mind from last week. The Atlanta Falcons go our land Alcan's play. The Chicago bears this week. Chicago was to know the Falcons are all into one o'clock on Fox. Obviously, the Falcons. About that the shambles, the the. Disgusting performance that we saw last week losing a game that they should've never lost Dallas cowboys now going to Chicago bears team defensively is still one of the better teams in the NFL. Immature bisky while not playing. Ultra, great. Still playing well enough for them to win. If, you look at this game, you would think the Falcons will win because one of the Falcons do have going for them as they do have one of the better offenses in felt even to the two weeks you've seen that. And they're going to a bears team that. Can Be, offered to challenge America can be limited. So the Falcons you put up points. The game should be over now the falcons defense does have some questions, but I do think they would put voices should be enough to create distance in the bears it'd be able to pick up the whip. Obviously the bears are companies just gave a lot of confidence. As they should. To An older, start the season I mean. I saw some Falcon fans tweet about it. They don't necessarily want the T. Blues remember they're only to the of this dot over by any stretch. But people really what? Dad Queen Gone. And so. It's Cadillac Party. Wants. To lose. The ship but the Chicago bears going to three eight. Oh probably be one of the young shockers of this early season. I'm going to very hastily picked the Falcons to win this game. I think they they are the better team. Now whether they actually leads to the results on Sunday we'll see but I'm going to go the Falcons to win this game as they are the better team to me. I, Think Matt Ryan will continue his great start to the season. I think are often will continue to click. There are questions of Julio. Jones will play this Sunday I. Think he will. He usually plays to injuries when his Julio not move something now he did. Have a setback in practice but. You know I think. He should be able to go. and honestly, if he didn't would be great for my fantasy team either but I got kindergarten if I need to step up or racial gauge. So yeah. But yeah with the Falcons. Next game forty niners, giants, I've this Games interesting. Remember last week. The point is playing metlife stadium loss Garoppolo MOATS are. Bosa, Thomas they lost a lot of guys last week. And the. Giants team who? Looks like they'll probably be at the bottom of the barrel the NFC east. Especially after losing saquon Barkley. For? The. season. When I players were scared to play at metlife stadium because they felt like the the stadium turf in and everything was the reason for a lot of those injuries that they had last week when they played the jets. Now. I it's. It's interesting to see what it's GONNA be 'cause they're playing a backup quarterback backup running backs they got sued offensive Lineman. I still don't have Richard Sherman. You have a lot of injuries. and. So this may be a winnable game for the giants I mean, you don't really know what to expect from the forty niners this week. So it'd be you say here they of Jimmy, Garoppolo at least played to me I. Think you would be like, okay for eight hours I think we'd still be able to win, but we don't know how good the Ford back for Norwich backup QB may play. I mean, luckily, the void ours have a lot of defensive talent still. So it's not like older pleaded they have nobody but. It. Isn't as comfortable as A. But I would still in my right mind, go with the four years to win the game.

Fast Food Giants are Reinventing the Restaurant, Pandemic Style

"Not so long ago fast food restaurants were looking for ways to get you to stay a little longer they sprucing up their dining rooms and building ball pits for the kids after all the more time at your table the more likely you are to order another menu item or two, but dining in is so two thousand nineteen isn't it? Now thanks in part to the pandemic, these quick service eateries or redesigning their restaurants to get you in and out as fast as possible. Burger, King has just unveiled its pandemic inspired restaurants of the future. There are two concepts, both of which maximize social distance. The smaller of the two designs has no dining room at all. Instead, the would-be dining space is used for additional drive through lanes two lanes to be exact. Once your order is ready, a conveyor belt will deliver it to your car window. Of course, if you're craving more human contact, you can also go old school and walk up to an order window. The second concept is a t shaped two storey restaurant with the kitchen. Upstairs this, let's Burger King devote more real estate to park in order spots in various drive-thru options the companies. Also, experimenting with lockers where you can pick up your food, you get the locker number and a unique combination when you order on the APP, the idea is to make the experience as contact free as possible, and that's important to customers drive throughs and meal delivery services like Rub and eats have been a lifeline for burger king as indoor dining was banned or restricted during a large part of the pandemic CNN reports in the second quarter through sales made up eighty five percent of the company's total US sales. Burger King says it will be testing. It's new concepts in warm climate areas like Florida, and the Caribbean but no word on exactly when that will start. Another major fast-food player that's also trying to get you out of its restaurants quickly is Taco Bell. TACO Bell so-called go mobile locations have been in development for a few years but the pandemic accelerated plans for them according to nation's restaurant news. These locations are smaller because like Burger kings, restaurants of the future. They also eliminate dining space also liked burger king concept. You can place or on the TACO BELL APP and have your meal brought out to you by a bellhop get the company will begin opening new stores early next year the design is a far cry from the one that the TACO giant unveiled in early March, a gaming concept restaurant plan to test in California customers would. be able to play video games in addition to dining and in January burger king announced plans to make gets dining experience a little posher the king plan to make over a Saint Louis location with white subway tiles on the floor bench seats inspired by classic cadillacs and warm lighting retail wire reported. You might be munching on your fries, but you'd be doing it in style. Now, a combination of pandemic dining restrictions and changing customer behavior has made such concepts as Cadillac benches obsolete. Well, it was fun while it lasted, but it's time to say so long to indoor play grounds and Walker inspired light fixtures for the time being at least fast food customers are opting out of dining in. Ken Nguyen: Republic Bridging the Gap Between Investing and Startups

"We can grander founder and CEO of the public and really excited to speak with you. Today can about republic and so moved to super innovative things. You guys are doing with crowdfunding in republic note in particular. So thanks much for joining us. Brian thank you so much for having me. Wonderful being year. For some people probably haven't heard about Republic Right but republic east of connected with Angel Lists and lists of course had the big impact on crowdfunding I mean there's also growing list right that has come out that we've had on the podcast before as well. Speak a little bit about your background time angels and sort of how that evolves into starting republic. I started out my career securities attorney in New York, and then over time went into asset management in back into academia. So back in twenty, three, thirteen, I got a chance to get introduced to novel and injuries team and became their general counsel Wendy roll out his new investment product costs indication right did everyone knows about but injuries syndication is only available to millionaires or accredited investors then under president, Obama is a change. In US law and very relevant for blockchain laid on as well that did change in the law allow non accredited meaning. Anyone doesn't matter what income and net worth to invest in private securities, and that became fully legal in two thousand sixteen and that's when I left. Angeles to Launch Republic with a-list ended up invested in us. So there a significant backer among many of the VC's suggested to heritage between to companies. Role and yeah, I think many people have heard of the jobs act in in that regulation. So tells a little bit of what was that changed at happened in two thousand sixteen and you know what was the opportunity that opened up back then? If I may take a walk down memory lane or history lane and go little bit far back through the Great Depression in the United States back in the nineteen thirties easily eighty years ago after that will regulate is in DC decided, hey to avoid investigating defrauded no-one can invest in private securities in private company unless they really Ridge if they rich, we assume that this fisted and can you know tolerate the loss of capital that went on for eighty years in even though in the US people spend like eighty billion dollars a year and lottery ticket. And the same amount addict casino, and yet you have to be a millionaire to invest in start it obviously stop making sense a while back, but it took the Obama administration and a change in the law of for that to really now opened a gateway so that anyone if they go through a platform like republic can invest in early stage, Google early stay facebook or a restaurant even and will little bit behind compared to European counterparts particularly the UK and other countries in the EU that had allow up for democratized private investing years before the US. So what inspired you to start Republican? was there anything that you saw during your time angel which convinced you that there was a problem worth solving here? The problem with stuffing I think goes a little bit back before my time at is so my family immigrated to the US from Vietnam in we stuttered out in Palo Alto in the bay area. Just because you're right in the thick of innovation in at Tam Amazon and Google new startups and everyone wanted to invest but like we weren't accredited so we weren't able to invest and even neighbors who were credited meaning millionaires, doctors, lawyers this still couldn't invest either. So Cadillac the teenage me was like men I wish I get to put a little bit of money into Amazon Google early on but couldn't and I think catalyzed stay with me and I went on and became a lawyer Working Wall Street and still couldn't invest privately us so that desire. To make venture capital private investing more accessible I. think There's a little bit of a personal background behind that an angel is each is Amado that when I knew about I was like, wow, these guys are making it possible for my oldest siblings who are physicians and engineers to invest. That's really cool and so that's why I joined injuries back in two thousand thirteen does only a glimmer of the possibility. What we do at Republic is Cadillac to hope that a single mom Vietnam Ecuador when they can invest like five dollars in Assad of in Silicon Valley. blockchain and ICO

General Motors unveiled the Cadillac Lyriq crossover

"Trying to capitalize on the red hide electric vehicle market with an all new ev crossover. Let's get to fill Abo-. He's got all the details hey phil. Hey Melissa. This has been in the works for some time and General Motors has made it clear. Cadillac will be the brand that will lead all of its major technology push into electric vehicles over the next several years. So with that in mind last night, they gave us a first look and here it is the new Cadillac Lyric, which is a mid size crossover utility vehicle. This is pretty close to what it's GonNa look like when it ultimately comes out in a few years when you look at the lyric keep in mind that they're saying that. The range will be at least three, hundred miles and the inside has just phenomenal appearance in terms of what it will do with the heads up, display the panel in the front in front of what they call the cockpit behind the instrument, the instrument panel behind the steering wheel it looks fantastic but keep in mind. This is a vehicle that we will not see until twenty, twenty two. That's because they have to build out charging infrastructure around the country. They're not even saying, Hey, we don't know exactly how much of a charge you're going to get with. A quick charge let's over twenty or thirty minutes but the goal here is to become much more competitive and ultimately beat Tesla. Yes. General Motors believes that it can be Tesla if they're gonNA do that they better win in California that is the number one ev market in this country take a look at sales last year we're just showing brand sales here between Tesla and Cadillac, and when you compare the two no comparison at all that is Tesla's biggest market and they're doing quite well there you go. Seventy, two, thousand last year were sales of tests in. California Cadillac little over eleven thousand, they've got their work cut out for them and certainly have their work cut out in terms of catching up to them when it comes to market cap tesla's market cap more than seven times bigger than General Motors in one other piece of Ev Related News. We've been talking about spanks Melissa. You've got fisker, which is what about three weeks ago there was a SPEC that was announced that fisker will ultimately go public through. Well, today they announced that this car, the ocean ev will be built by Magnus tear at Magnus tears. Facility over in Europe we should be clear here. They did not announce that our sources tell us that we reached out to the company. They say they have no comment at this time, but the bottom line is this Melissa everybody wants to get into this space, but we're not going to see a big flutter flurry of these vehicles for at least a couple of years. Thanks, Philibeaux. Bond when I'm not quite sure what the strategy is for releasing the specs of a cool looking car that won't be on the market at all until two, thousand, twenty, two I don't know if people are going to hold off and say, I'm GonNa wait for that Cadillac lyric and not by my tests because the lyrics going to come out and twenty, twenty two. I. Don't know what do you think? Yeah. Patience is a virtue but not not when you have somewhere to be so listen conceptually I do think it makes sense for for Cadillac they've been trying to shift their demographic for years. Now I think they've had a storied past of being a large boxy car I mean you think of an older generation and they've they've gradually typically captain gradually shifted that demographic but that's just it's a concept we're talking about latter half twenty, twenty, two, I mean, what does the consumer demand look like what is the infrastructure look like and then what other technological developments have been made by Tesla and other competitors by the time they're actually able to bring this thing to market. I also thought it was interesting that they had already pegged price in the seventy thousand dollar range. We don't know if that's really going to be an ethical applicable price point two years out. So again, think it's a great headline tension grab her nights in.

Big Music Deal for Spotify

Big Music Deal for Spotify

"Going to begin with spotify. Latest partnership. And it's not a podcast which has been sort of the trend for a while with spotify when they come out with material news. But today it's the fact that spotify has a new long-term licensing deal with universal music group. Help me understand this I. It seems like spotify is going to provide not just marketing, but also data and analytics from their platform so that they can give universal music group, a sense of who is listening to what? Exactly, so I actually when we talk this morning to topics, I chose this topic because I just yesterday. Actually we were having sort of an investor roundtable about spotify and I am. Well I think that the platform is great. I kind of have a couple of questions. Particularly Round the valuation that there to ban demanding right now. It's almost fifty five billion dollar company and I just. For a little bit of. backstory or history on that market, so Ford Music labels actually owned about ninety percent of the market and so. Historically what we've seen is that pricing power is solidly in the hands of the labels within spotify so. They've struggled to really turn. Or demonstrate a consistent level of profitability and so You mentioned that they've pursued podcast. One thing I think that's a great idea because. You know if we think about exclusive content, so then pursuing a strategy similar to say Disney or Netflix or Hulu. It's not really possible music again for music labels on about ninety percent market. They tried to start their own label and actually backed off from an initiative because it was sort of Put them in at odds with their suppliers in some respect right so podcast is one way that they have tried to get that exclusive content deal, but I remained a little bit hesitant about this platform, just given I think podcasts are sort of a secondary offering that spotify particularly right now and people are still going there for the music and I think. Valuation today didn't necessarily Justify, With their music offering, but today's deal like you mentioned is the game changer for spotify, so they've signed this agreement with Vivendi's Universal Music Group. And for background, universal owns about forty percent of all US music for straightening and so. You're right the agreement right now. Is that you I'm Jay will provide their sort of massive music, Cadillac restraining and in return you J is becoming a spotify testing and development partner for new tools, services marketing products. So like you've mentioned there is a couple of things that have already been started on. It is part of what they're calling. Their two sided platform so. For example what they've been doing that, labels cannot pay to deliver push notifications that promote new music to user is either previously listened to that promoted artists added to their library and what they've seen. Is that Spending in marketing in this way is actually more effective than other options so I'm hopefully more agreements like that will come into play. Is Yet another way for spotify to get a little bit more margin on their core music streaming business. So this is what I actually think is could be a very strong game changer for spotify. For All the headlines that spotify has made and rightfully so for the acquisitions. They've made in the podcast space. My first thought when I saw this was. Oh, they're getting back to their bread and butter. Like this. This this is this is the main reason. People are going to spotify and signing up for it. You mentioned the valuation. A stock is up five six percent on this deal. It's nearly doubled in two thousand, nine, hundred twenty I mean you're not wrong when you say by the valuation of spotify you can, you can make bullish on this business and still look at what it has done over the last six, and a half months and sort of shake your head and say it's. Not a cheap stock right I mean I would say you know I think they've had a strong year. They have demonstrated stickiness to this platform that was certainly tested during Kovic. Pre Cove about fifty percent of their listening hours for spent outside the home, so assumed that was sort of commuting commuting time so either on A. smartphone or In the auto things like that, and so as covert happened. People were worried that you know people you don't have that those same anymore and so on. Are People really going to stick with? Continue to pay for this premium platform, and the answer actually was yes, so rather than listening out of the home. He blurted shifting where they're listening and what they're listening to you, so they talked a lot about. SMART. Connected, devices so gaming consoles. Things like that have seen an uptick in usage, also sort of these wellness or calming playlist, rather than they're commuting sort of upbeat things, but I mean that was one significant test of this platform that I think you know pre pandemic to necessarily seen or known that data, so it was encouraging. They've had a good year.

"The good news is well. Not a great deal on good news, a not not a great deals actually occurred across the markets of light. Today. We've actually got a little bit of take in what's going on with Bitcoin and the rest of the market. We'll talk you through a couple of things. I'm saying right now. There's not a great deal within that. Top Ten buffet looking at Bitcoin now look the whole week last week. As today is Monday. Obviously, the entire wake ended up closing down half of one percent. Now that's not much. Not much at all and the entire range, and he he's what's interesting. The fact that it close down half a percent. Look that he's a little bit interesting on expose, but it's more about the entire range of that candle that the range of that entire candle. Let me tell you what that is. It is from it's hard to. It's low, roughly calculated their. Seven point three six percent. Very little indeed now. You think that's still sounds like a lot and I. I suppose the IT sounds like a lot, but you know you go back to the wake. Starting was early June first of. That was a twelve percent week. Yeah, we'll look at last week. Even last week was a little bit big. Not a great deal bigger eleven percent there as well. You can't okay going. Back to the end of my, we had thirteen percent week and we've the wakes that we see. Also of between usually ten and twenty percent realistically, that's what we that's what we see. The vilatility has dried up for the Hong Bang on Bitcoin. Now yesterday we closed down point seven five a percent today without point nine does not a great deal going on he in this market for the time they were one thousand, three hundred and. Seventy took a kite. So north thousand three, hundred, seventy two. Bitcoin right now now the positive is is holding its ground. It's holding above nine thousand, having too many issues holding of thousand and it's grinding. You know it's just hanging in there. That's a positive thing it. It doesn't site too much full whether we can your high or law at this stage the weekly. Look it's back in. That cradles I. Know It's looking a definitely. Definitely more bullish and bearish on the weekly timeframe, and I'm looking at as I speak to you, but it's a little bit more convincing for me to to really say this market take often do well a theorems that are pretty good diet cost talk tense up the most two point, five percent up two hundred, thirty three dollars, or seventeen sense now theory and loss. Really Nice quickly Cana. By the way, it's a really really really really trendy so theory and looked a lot stronger to me than what Bitcoin does for. The Time Bang lost weight down one point six seven percent not huge cannon NAS pullback. Cradles looking very very good. It's a two thirty three is up two point five six percent eighteen point seven percent off point, one of the percent rotten lost weight once guy. It was down down two point. Two five percent excel pays actually looking bearish It's looking bearish to me. It has been for quite some taller rolling over at the moment on that weekly timeframe, but again we need to say when eighty see above twenty cents again to get that momentum. Moving would be a really really powerful thing, not much going on for up. Hey, right now, bitcoin cash to sent up right now at two thirty seven fives, interesting bitcoin cash Theory by very similarly similarly similar I can't talk. Signed Price. It's up Senate to thirty, four, seventy five lost weight, just talk to the weekly a dying. We would down three percent on the best up one point three four percents tonight, one, seventy, two, seventy, five, a bright down through some support loss weight loss weeks down full point ignored percent. It's holding below that that level that one seven six a couple of support resistance levels around here. Look don't really shot that I'm looking for opportunities on right now. Because I just don't see the trend banks strong enough the daily nineties down, but it's not strong, still very solid, wise lot, coin, solid, wise one point to set up at forty three dollars and fifty cents. Does that represent good value Guy Looking very similar to that of exile they were. We don't have that strong trend like we do with say ethereal on the fifty three cents up exactly one percent and loss week it was down, but only down to him again, just grinding at going their bonnets very slow wake as well it was down three point six two percent, the sixteen dollars and sixteen cents up one point three percent when I say how. The since the purchase of see 'EM, say bond hasn't really done a great deal. Positive for itself as far as price goes The market doesn't seem to be doing much on bonaventure at the moment Kadhafi up two percent right now still in that strong uptrend. The weekly yet it closed up up two point two percent weekly Chat, looking very very strong dial job still hanging in that not much going on at seven point, nine cents does up two percent, a theory classic, very very slow wake a guide as I'm sure you probably will away down one point six percent sitting at six dollars twenty four. Point seven percent today again. It's a very very slow shot tron. One point five nine cents last week. It deploys down Anita. Percent Died. My view right now, is it? A theory is the best looking shot out of our top ten right now. That weekly chart is really really daily I WANNA. See it captures some mole momentum. WanNa see the high timeframe start start the mid timeframe trend a little bit better. We've got high alone a high a high now on a theory. If you WANNA have look five shot at there at the moment, we'll tell you what it is. It's It's lot co also blocking. It's China link. Child Link Perpetual, so that's a futures contract. They're gonNA have a look at that on earth ticks shot beautiful, little breakout this morning waiting for pull bikes that really nice looking trend there on that four hour the dailies now going to self in an option, and it looks really really good for move. If I look at the weekly as well it's was bullish Cadillac six percent last week. Bullish candle in the criminals are in broken hot today, a runic look set for a very strong mode, so my view. Ma Positioning right now to be watching link very very closely

From The City To The Megalopolis

"It's amazing to think that. In the nineteenth century about three percent of humanity lived in cities and today. That number is fifty percent, and it's growing rapidly. We live in the age of the Megalopolis. We're going to talk about that now with Dr, Salvatori satis Dr set. This is an emeritus professor of the history of classical art and archaeology at the school normality superiore in Pisa in Italy. He's an archaeologist and art historian. He's the chairman of the Louvre Museum. Scientific Council his the author of several books on art. Art History and he's known as the conscience of Italy for his role in spot, leading the neglect of it all national cultural heritage. His book is if Venice dies, and it's a look, not only at in the struggles, Venison the twenty first century, but at the increasing urbanisation of civilization general doctor says thanks for joining us. Thank you for inviting me. Can you talk about if finished is? How much of it is about Venice? And how much of it is it about the changing urban landscape across the planet? Well my intention in writing. This book was to focus on Venice. In order to make people meditate about what's going on on on a global scale about what I would call the shape the form of the city Savannah's. Sample account that example, contrasting some of the most disturbing. Of Urbanization in our current world end, it is quite dramatic. What's going on in your book? You explain there are fifteen megalopolis. That have over twenty million people is the advent of these massive cities twenty million people cities people have to live somewhere is is that a good thing or a bad thing? Why does it concern you well? I'm concerned about the quality of life. Those people because although this organization may look something that happens naturally, it is also prompted by economic forces. It is a concentration of workforce. which is not necessarily living in good conditions in order to create profit for a very low number of people, so it's the usual formula ninety nine percent, the best one percent, the megalopolis is a consequence of a complication of the world, the general commodification of the world that includes to an increasing extent human beings. This is just a very efficient thing for the elites to have a concentration of workforce where people who will be able to work cheaper and produce more by being right there at the center of production. Is that what? What you're saying, produce more and also by more become consumers, because workers are simultaneously consumer, so there is a a bishop's or two, if you so wish seal between being workers and consumers and I, think that there are two your which are combined, and normally one is made. Opera is the big over-centralisation to the other one is the verticalisation of AF- architecture. May Boca Use a? It's an example Chung Ching in China which had the six hundred thousand people in the nineteen thirty s and now thirty four million people living in it. I talked to contrast this with a different. Format Orbis or shape of the city. A form of the city in which that is some sort of harmony of balance between the body of the citizen and the body of the city where the citizen doesn't feel The one thing I'm saying is that it is good that we presser diversity in urban form and preserving diversity means among other things saving and saving the other historical see also because there is in even more. More disturbing feature of urban farming cities taking shape in in our time, and that is the fact that wide ancient cities. Historical CDs had a boundary around the city in the case of Venice Lagoon, case of other cities, the walls around the city now the boundaries around the boundaries of the city are being gradually substituted by boundaries within the city which has boundaries between the gentrified areas. For. The Hey and the have nots. You can see that in Paris very well. This can impact is. Also in Rome or in Milan dimension, Italian cities, the gated communities are increasingly frequent all around the world, but the gated communities are for those who are wealthy or relatively wealthy, while the other people are condemned to live in favelas. Zeal or in in be don't be like this aim French. I'm just thinking of Paris. I was just in Paris with a group. And I was explaining how they protect the center of Paris where everything is the months heart, scale you know six or eight story tall monster building, so you can see the domes, and you can see the spires, and you can see the Eiffel Tower and then right when you get to the periphery. Periphery this big boulevard that circles the city outside of that. It's just no-holds-barred, and it's like keeping the Cadillac Bay outside of that periphery. It's forced of skyscrapers within that you've got the elegance of the classic people friendly city that is in a sense, a gated community, because it's unaffordable for lot of people, and they end up outside a town in the rougher downtrodden neighborhoods. This is what's going on. Your description is absolutely perfect I think. But this involves a separation with inside, which is socially potentially very dangerous for the future. which is not precisely what I would call democracy.

Media Surprised by Tesla Registrations Despite Shutdown

"Everybody robbing our here today we were talking about a number of different reports on tests registrations in the united. States in the month of April and May tussle stock, despite some of these reports finished the day up one percent to nine hundred ninety one dollars, seventy nine cents that compared to the Nasdaq up zero point two percent all right so as much as I would love to skip this topic because I think a lot of us know where this is. Is Heading. Most of the Tesla headlines today are related to a Wall Street Journal article published this morning titled Quote Tessa Registrations Plunge in California data tracker, says and quote, then leading off the article with quote, registrations of newly purchased Tesla vehicles plunged critical California market over the past two months according to new data underlining the challenge chief executive Elon, Musk faces to keep investor enthusiasm that has helped propel the company's share price and quote the Wall Street Journal Journal cites data from Dominion Enterprises which apparently tracks registrations in twenty four states that make up about sixty five percents of the US market, and in those twenty four states they say that Tesla registrations declined thirty three percent to fourteen, thousand, one, hundred and fifty one vehicles during the first two months off cue to the media, then seemed to go full, shocked Pika Chew Mon and read a whole bunch of articles about this highlighting Tesla's quote, unquote plunging registrations so. So I thought had a little bit of fun with that with the today. Apologies for that, but the point here is that this should not be surprising at all. People seem to have forgotten that Tesla. Had Their factory shut down for seven weeks from late March to early May as we know. Tesla is somewhat unique in that their registration or sales, information correlates strongly to their production rather than simply being an indication of demand like we might see from. Cars we can easily see this in the inventory numbers. If we look at Tesla, they had twenty days of inventory at the end of Q. on of March that comes right from their shareholder letter, and if we look at a company like Ford, for example, they said that at the march they had one hundred days of inventory so twenty days of inventory doesn't get. Get you too far when you're factories, shut down for fifty days compared to if you had one hundred days of inventory in stock like four does according to Cox Automotive, many brands actually had more than one hundred days of inventory at the end of March including Honda, jeep, Cadillac, an Acura and many others, and then even on the low end. They have KIA as. As the lowest brand at forty three days, so Tesla's inventory is about twenty to twenty five percent of the average and half of that of the lowest other brand in the US. The other important consideration here when we look at April and May specifically for the United States is that because Tesla restarted production in early, may that only gave them a couple or A. A few weeks to be able to produce vehicles ship them over to Europe and have them delivered within Q. Two, so with that being the case, obviously a very small amount of vehicles produced in May are going to actually be allocated for the North American market, so yeah plenty of reasons for us to expect registrations to have been down year over year in April. April and May in the US definitely not shocked Pichu type of situation, even with all that being the case in the same article, The Wall Street Journal says that Dominion Research says that the industry fell forty three percent in April and may remember. They have tussled down thirty three percent, so even without much inventory, Tesla is still outperforming the broader industry. You actually interpret. Interpret this as relatively bullish report. The other thing that I want to talk about briefly is the actual number here. So they said that registrations were fourteen thousand, or so in the first two months of the quarter and remember that's four states that make up about sixty five percents of the total US auto market. Tesla probably penetrates a little bit higher in those markets. Markets, because it does include California, so if we assume that that's about seventy five percent, then that can point to a number of about eighteen thousand five hundred vehicles registered in the United States in April, and met now I'm not putting much weight into these numbers, but that number does seem extremely reasonable. We know that Tesla began the quarter with about thirty thousand vehicles. Vehicles in inventory, so if we assume about half of that inventory, or about fifteen thousand vehicles were in the United States at the end of March then for us to have eighteen thousand vehicles registered in the US in April, and may sounds like a pretty reasonable number, if tussle were to sell off some of that inventory mentor, and then we add in deliveries from. That are probably not entirely allocated for Europe as well as Mata. Why if anything I see this report? As a low weight indicator that things are roughly on track. One less thing. I wanted to point out on this. The street did run article separate from my page on this topic and I didn't really love the headline. They reach out me, gave me the opportunity to add some context, and then actually included all of my comments in the article on this

Ross Jeffs on Individualizing Speed Training by Understanding Concentric

"We have an awesome show for you lined up on individualizing factors and speed training. individualization has been one of my favorite topics to get into I feel like one of the most rewarding things that. Seems to happen throughout the process of coaching athletes is finding that athlete who just wasn't responding to the training that they had been given and looking at them, and and having the layers of awareness to understand where they're at and his into as an individual giving them the training they need and seeing them succeed. That is one of my absolute favorite things as a coach and. And that's why these podcasts on training individualization. I just enjoy them a ton, so Ross Jeff's. He was on the podcast back on episode, one forty, five, talking about trainers versus racers, which again is another element of individualization, basically knowing how to train athletes based off of how close they can get to their peak performance output in practice versus competition and how to train them correspondingly. Ross is currently working as a sprints jumps in hurdles coach at the aspire academy in Doha Cutter. He formally has worked in the Netherlands is the sprints and jumps coach. He's also coached under the guidance of Jonas Dodo within this speedwork system. Outside the track field Ross's worked with a number of athletes. From -rageous sports including tennis boxing. Olympic medalists from backs, basketball and rugby sevens, and Ross really has a full gamut of people that he's worked with. He's absolutely one of the most brilliant young coaches I've talked to. He's open-minded. He's curious. He has a huge tribe of mentors and I always learn things that are very applicable whether I reading his articles or obviously talking to him in these podcasts, so for the show today Ross is going to get into the idea behind on three types. Types of sprinting or three types of sprinting athletes and how to identify those, and then how those athletes ten respond best to training, and so I've seen a presentation that Ross did on this I was thoroughly intrigued, and unlike we have to do a podcast on this and so I'm super lucky to have him back and so we're going to get into that. We're going to get into three types of these three types of sprinting athletes identifying them and then how to train them. And whether you attract coach or not, there's a ton of gold in the show just in the sense that honestly if you're a track coach, a lot of times like if you're training jumpers, you may have a group that is almost more going to be close to one type. Were says a team sport. You're going to have a lot of types and so being able to just go through these ideas. It's going to give you a great new layers awareness, and this was an awesome show, so all that being said. Let's get onto episode two six with Ross Jeff's. Ross man awesome. Have you back? How how have you been? has there been any. I've been doing any online coaching in the midst of all this. What's what's happening in the world to track and field right now? Ed, you'll find, have me May Yeah, it's interest. Not Come in Cadillac up in about almost a year now so. Been in lockdown since. At Emma, so we've been there most fought training session close, so there's no, there's not much garnell. Plenty plenty of time was that where this presentation that we're GonNa talk about today was born. I'm sure that's been. It's been in the works right for a long time, but did that. Give you the free time to get all this together. Yeah. The James Baker whose who who runs fullness performance, and he's kind of been bugging me to kind of put together for a while, so it's the right time to do things. For sure I think sometimes when there's little bit more free time or downtown I know for me. It's been a lot easier to get a wider spectrum of guests on for sure on my own end with all this on the for the podcast, but I I was really still I know our our last time with the trainers versus racers was awesome. I mean it gave me so many things to think about an implement, and so I was super excited to see that you add the. New a new categorization, and of course we talked about this like no, not the goal isn't to put athletes boxes, per se, but just the more we can learn about how different outfits respond is is just so incredible and interesting to me and so. Let's kick this off. Let's to tell us about. Your your category, your categorization, concentric, elastic and metabolic maybe to start with the history of it, like where where did all this come from in terms of you? Your journey of deciding or or determining which athletes I know, track sprinters. We're talking about specifically, but which types of sprinters were responding to which types of training? So. Springtime into briefly set the scene fest. I think if you watch. The Olympics there are many commonalities inconsistencies around. Will faucets sprinters in the while. Technically, but there's also some variation, right and all too often this variation schroeck officer. As an idiosyncrasy oh. You know this athlete would run faster if they run like Basil D'Amato, isn't a nominee, so we shouldn't coalpit. Will actually might be inefficient for one person might be actually efficient for a number, and it's the same if you analyze training program I mean in this hundred meter final that it's going to be some very similar themes that coaches through the face, but that also be some very different themes. We know people have run. Teno running never more than two times I meet some of the way up to five hundred six hundred arrests so very early mccutchen career realized that Sanofi just one in very different need to the program that they were given an equal equally, they responded very differently to kind technical changes well. Her when this happens. Time and time again over to for years you start to see some click consistencies than pictures around what kind of profile you haven't is and then to go that people have been putting some ideas out on the topic around neuro. Typing in action type toilets fouts five typing stuff from Hank. Ulcers put some stuff out around muscular Hashtag as good a reset from the distance, running community around Ariel terrestrial runners, so it's kind of blended all these ideas and something that. into something I understand in seeing can apply on a consistent

Making over a 1963 Cadillac

"I found the nineteen sixty three cadillac in a driveway. And I wrote to the owners of the House because my in my county you could find anybody's name address to anybody for any property. I never saw this property before. I don't know why I never drew down this road and my friend said hey is a really cool cadillac. You'd be into it so I looked at it and it's a four door fleetwood and I really thought it would be cool to convert in whatever. Anyway it's been sitting in the same spot for forty years so I wrote the people and in the meantime I'm looking I haven't heard from them and they never wrote back. But in the meantime I'm always looking on facebook market for that kind of car like a car that looks rusty and really screwed up just like that. It's like perfect. The bodies like perfectly aligned. It's not crunched routed through to sue and so in a in an impulse. I saw this Cadillac. That just had just gotten posted. It was a seven sixty seven. Eldorado of sixty seven convertible sixty seven Cadillac convertible and so. I just texted the guy in through facebook market. And we wrote back and forth and as we take pay pal like y'all take some in pay pal if you pay me a little bit so I paid fifteen hundred dollars. He delivered it so because I was talking about that other car. Got Me curious to just keep looking looking looking for that type of texture on a car and when I saw this it was a really fast so it showed up in everybody's asking me always that the call from the front yard of the House nearby. It's not I just saw it in so now the car from the House nearby. I don't need that anymore. The satisfies that itch. Okay David how long do you think it will be before he gets out of the written back to? Oh you're muted David. I can't hear you haven't that killed my joke. I said when we record the next podcast. So it's a sixty seven Cadillac Eldorado. Keep saying it's called the Deville sixty seven cadillac convertible and it's it is like people say how bad is it? I'm like it's probably about. It's probably about three weeks away from being completely gone it runs drives has no breaks every time. I try to stop ahead of give myself like twenty feet to coast to a stop and it The floorboards are completely routed yesterday. Me AND MY BUDDY RYAN. We ripped the whole interior out would cut the seat out. You know it's it's basically a convertible that was probably left open twenty percent of its life to the rain so the interior seats are all moldy. And it's been stored for really long time. The Guy got it from has no paperwork heat and really tell me much about it. I think he's like a recovery guy who just like to close at warehouses and soften. He says he got it recently and he just put it up for sale. He says he got he got it running. He claims he put the carburetor on it. He said it was in a warehouse. He took it home. There was no carburetor on it. He found a carburetor and a junkyard. Put It on. It played with a for a couple of hours got it started and put it on facebook marketplace. And that's how I got so it's definitely has not gotten any attention this mice nestle over which I got most of them blown out and What WHAT'S THE PLAN. Are you going to restore to original condition or are you going to modify the whole worms? I just wanted something to creatively experiment with and Okay and So I'm going to basically make like a rat rod ahead a couple of teams tales like. Oh we're going to get it perfect again like no no that would take. That would take a lot. It's like Fred Flintstone Style. Like just kick the ground as you're the body lines straight. That's what I liked about the body lines straight so it's like a good. Both the frame seemed straight and Somebody played with the brakes breaks. Hopefully that just needed just because there's a lot of brand new brake parts. There look like they haven't gotten rusty so this if you look through a couple of shiny parts in the car that somebody like me that'll ambitious and then gave up on it again and So the wiring zoll horrible. It's going to be a nightmare like Patrick's GonNa help move the wiring. I said he goes while we gotTA figure I go look if we could just put like a row of switches on the dashboard. That say you know left? Lincoln right link of the region his that would be easy if we just do that instead of China. So it's just a big experiment to play with and it like I said because it runs I can get in and started. It doesn't sound very healthy but it runs and that's figured half the half the battle so yeah yeah just the fact that you can get it to turn over. I mean that means you're you know you're further along than if it didn't turn over there would be quite a few reasons why it wouldn't move you know and that would take a lot to get so it's really you can at least attack at a time and a funny thing was is. I went on I I I got one on Ebay to buy like all the emblems and stuff for it and then I did buy two emblems for about sixty bucks and one of the blinkers in a said before by anymore. Spend any more money on this hunk of crap. Let me look in the trunk. And so the next day I look in the trunk in every single piece of trim was in the trunk so somebody got an ambitious thinking they were GonNa fix it a pain and and so it has everything even the headlight which is missing in the pictures. Has Everything So I'll just fiddle with it and learn about hydraulic roofs. Semite put my own. Convertible has no the convertible scissor top? It's called the scissor roof. It's all there it doesn't have the hydraulic motor. Which I gotTA figure out how to modify figure out but It doesn't have any canvas on the top so I'm going to get creative and try and figure out something interesting. Like an all tarp simply. Well I was GONNA say like I mean you already had the Fred Flintstone floor in on Fred Flintstone car. It had like bamboo that went up and then forward. And then there's like a piece of canvas that came over and it didn't convert all the back for like a rear window air. We'll go through. It'll probably be fine. Continue that Motif. Yeah so I mean that's just my opinion but I'm just having fun with it and it just reminded me of being a teenager and like figuring things out. I mean that's how I learned a lot so many mechanical things early on is like just wrenching on old cars and I was a kid out drag home any hundred piece of crap and start taking it apart and figuring out how to get started. So that's just my little. I wonder if a little kid me again. I

Tribal solutions and challenges

"Today. We're GONNA start off in Tacoma County in California. We Have Greg. Sarah's he is the chairman of the Federated Indians of Grayton Ranch Ria he is a tribal member of the Rancho Rio which includes descendants of the southern. Pomo and coast me walk. People are pleasure to have him here and Sarah's welcome thank you terra. Good morning and chairman just want to start off in understand more about what is your tribe is facing and where things currently stand in terms of facing cove in nineteen Well I think as with all tribes are. I thought of my first thought. Is the leader in. The leadership of this tribe is to take care of our tribal citizens How do we ensure their health? How do we continue programs at service? The elders and so forth With of course short with do less revenue At the same time we have a large casino One of the largest in California. We have fifteen hundred nearly fifteen hundred tribal citizens and at the same time we have over two thousand team members that work in the Casino Resort Casino. Close about a month ago And so of course. Revenues dried up. We've been very fortunate. I will have to say we've been able Well with spending money we've been able to take care of our citizens that's far and continue per capsule albeit somewhat reduced or You know pull back lever connector cavs ability to pay for caps. But we've been able to keep our been most of our programs going And we've been. I think very worked very hard. It's been very stressful for me to make sure that the all the team members who've been furloughed Since that time and for the indefinite future will be Will continue to receive their medical benefits. We will continue to. We have a very good plan. A the Chitral Cadillac plan whereby they pay nothing out of their paycheck so while they're furloughed. We continue to do that. We paid their salaries until many I After which we made sure that with the bump in the employment from the federal government to six hundred dollar bump that they will have somewhat close to equitable pay And so we figure with that and the insurance which will go on indefinitely. They're they're covered but it's been really really stressful About how to get monies We Hope Tara that we will get We believe we're GONNA get the employee retention credit Because we kept our employees. We have a hundred employees just in our travel office with our programs and we had to reduce furlough some of them and reduce salaries there We Governor Newsom here in. California has been very good he. We don't have to pay our compact fees. He's weighed compact piece for six months. Which of the Health? And of course we hope to apply for the Stabilization Fund for the tracks. It sure interment. Is there any talk that those funds will have to be paid back eventually the compact fees? No I don't because again The money the the casinos are closed down. And they're not generating any revenue and remember the very good question the compaq fees based on revenue and when there's no revenue that okay and I think the guy. I don't believe the governor's going to ask us to pay them back or if he does It'll be able to do away in a way that it won't break if he's been very good insensitive to our situation but for the time being of course the casinos are generating revenue and a big other question that we have right now. Those of us that are operating casinos. How do we reopen when if and when we do reopen? We're going to have to practice. The you know six feet distancing measure how do you what would you imagine a casino with Slot Machines and card tables? How do you open a large facility? Which is the one we have Where whereby? You have to have people six feet apart all of Asli. Your revenue flow is going to be greatly reduced when you do reopen so again. That is something that I will sit down and talk to the governor about when that time comes. I'm working on a model for how to do that with him. Now but again we have no idea when that limited opening will begin in. This is something in a lot of tribal leaders are thinking about 'em especially because the tribe makes the call whether it's open or not and A lot of tribes have just on their own heeded the call to Bring more awareness. And that's why a lot of them have closed down end so chairman says anything else you WANNA share about dealing with the state to either get funding or aid or assistance needed Often in the past. It's been the story That sometimes there are way too many hurdles when it comes to working with the state having a seat at the table. We've heard a lot of different things too when it comes to fema funding. Where do things stand now? That relationship with the tribe or with the state. Sorry well we were in A. We're in a very good place. We WE HAVE A. We are our particular type we have. I have a good relationship with Governor tribes here thus far have had a good relationship with governor newsom so Again one of the things as I was waiting We didn't want to furlough any of our people until I kept in touch with him until he negotiated with the feds to get that unemployment bump once he got that then for instance we could take care of our furloughed people and quit paying them salaries. We were paying the full salary until we heard that. But that bump so we waited we worked with him for that we also as I said are working with him. have worked with him to For the time being away the contact sees So So far so good I mean given the situation now regarding the opening I will. We will defer to him when it is safe and ready. I know that some smaller tribes others may want to do differently We also have as you indicated or inferred the option of not opening. But we're doing everything we can. And when we do reopen we're already looking into the various devices which To tell people have a fever coming into the casino An all that sort of thing. So we will comply with Whatever he suggests regarding avery opening my tribal I can't of COURSE SPEAK FOR OTHER TRIBES. Serio in chairman when it comes to your tribe are there any reported cases of covert nineteen? No not that I know of We have taken really strict measures to talk to. Our families are traveled families of particularly keeping the elders inside Sheltering in place a lot of things are kind of sad. I mean we were. We have larger organic garden where we were delivering vegetables and so forth to elders Our some of our staff were in. You know we've had to stop even things like that But yet our services are still in place so that if tribal elders have any health issues they are staff in the tribal office are in contact with the families and with the elders. So that if anything comes up There is an infrastructure in place to support our people in the matter of any health issues that arise

10 Least Likely and Weird Race Cars of All Time

"Welcome to car stuff. I'm your host Scott Benjamin and join by Kirk Garin producer. Show as well right Kurt. Or that's right. She doing double duty again today. I think we've got a topic that both of us can. We'll probably have a lot to talk about. I think There's there's ten really unusual unlikely weird strange. Whatever you WANNA call them race cars and there's been a list compiled of course lists all over the place. This is one list I should say there's been a list compiled by a A place called driving line dot com and they had an unusual like I different one from others that I've seen which I thought was intriguing so I chose that one to kind of follow along with and then I think we're going to add our own notes because there's not a whole lot of material On each page you know. It's kind of like one of those It's like a slide show almost really when you look at it online you know below. Each photo is just a little bit of information but not a lot of information. So you know when When I when I saw the list thought well I can add something to this and make it really worthwhile for our audience. And you know something that they'd be interested in listening to and and maybe even dig into on their own and learning a little bit more about each one of these cars because they are unique in there are strange and wonderful an unusual and you know all all of the you know always you can describe a race car. That probably shouldn't be out there on the racecourse. Let's maybe the best way to put her. I mean what did you just? Just real quick. And we're not going to really dig into this. Yeah I got a few more things I wanNA talk to you about before we start today's episode. But when you saw this list that I sent over to you this This these ten unusual cars. Did you have any kind of initial Reaction to it? Yeah I mean the look of a lot of the cars is is unique when I looked at it. I went with no preconceived notions though and I tried to take each one in. Look at the era in which it raced. Things began to make a lot more sense. When you look at the cars in the landscape of racing at the time could have been ahead of its time in some ways right in some ways but other cars when you look at your like. I can't imagine at that at that time seeing that car on the race track. It'll be so unusual that it would be the one that would get all the attention You know even if it wasn't the pole sitter even if it wasn't the winner of the race of course or even if nothing really spectacular happened with it just the fact that it's on the track it makes it fascinating and unique in some way so I think it's a good list and and we'll definitely get to that you know. Let's get into some of these These these least likely and weird and unusual race cars as the author of this article says isn't it is Benjamin hunting and he is from. He's a writer from A site called driving line dot com. And that's the list of we're going to follow but I'd say we're going to add a lot to this list. And as Benjamin says racing gets weird sometimes they really does get unusual and strange and We all know this. We all know that you know racers. In a particular series. Whatever series it may be are all about bending the rules and especially? We've seen this especially in NASCAR right. Yeah we've seen it so many times in Nascar is so many different colorful characters and people that Just right in your face about it too. You know like like if it's not specifically immune exactly in the rulebook like that. I'm going to do it. And then you know. The next race has changed. You know. It's yeah the rules in the rule book and now you can't do that so they have to change their tactic and and it's kind of this This cat and mouse back and forth. You know play the game type thing that they do and and as fans we love to watch this we'd love to. We love to see the characters that are that are like a smoke eunuch or you know Carroll Shelby or any of those guys that were really you know just exciting to watch a J foyt. Whoever it happens to be it's just a it creates it creates characters SORTA. I mean a larger than life characters at the racetrack and one of the things that that results from. This is unusual. Car Design or car technology or just Tactics or you know whatever happens to be but these happen to be a the whole the whole like the complete package. These are unusual cars now again. Some of them do have just unusual technology. But along with that you know forum has to follow the function right so right This this makes You know the vehicle. Look Weird in you know. Because they're trying this new technology it makes it look unusual on the track. And that's what makes it stand out and sometimes as we said you know. These are the cars to get all the attention whether or not there on the on the pole position or win the race or don't even place at all if they make one lap. Everybody's kind of doing eye in over that one car or you know laughing at. Maybe they're laughing at it. This is on the list but a modern example of some of these types of cars will be the Delta Wing. Oh yeah that was an a sports car. Race car yeah. They're racing it anymore very unusual car. So that kind of gives you an idea if you're familiar with the Delta Wing. What we're about the dive into. Yeah if you're not take a look online I mean just do a quick Google search and you you'll be able to find the Delta wing but that is a really strange design especially I mean. Look at it next to any other car on the course at the time completely unusual. They're really strange. But that's exactly what we're talking about. And as the you know the cars as Benjamin says here you know the defy convention and a lot of cases the boundaries of good taste. And I I agree. Sometimes that's the case but you know they all have Something likeable about them as well. You know there's something about rooting for the underdog or something. You know cheering for you. Know the guy that is trying something new. Hey why not There've been again a lot of people that A lot of people that enjoy doing that. And they do so behind the The wheel of misfits like number one on our list here which is the Cadillac. Lamont Stra and I hope I'm pronouncing that right but it's a French racecar and it's a nineteen forty nine car actually Which is competing in one thousand nine hundred fifty and I'll I'll describe what's going on here but you really need to take a look at this car online you need to. You need to have an image of what we're talking about here because there is some unusual bodywork going on right definitely wind tunnel tested if for the time. That's that's pretty a pretty unique. I would imagine for road race car anyway. For any car. I think at that time. I don't think I don't think they're doing a lot of Of Wind Tunnel testing back. In that time I mean I know that you know. Of course the Wright brothers had built their you know their little wind tunnel and there were there. Were you know to test? Their designs like the tabletop version. And then later a bigger version but then and I think that you know of course there were. There were some wind tunnels around there. Were and I know that manufacturers did use them and you know there's the later I think I don't know about catch here remember when the Chrysler Airflow was bill but of course manufacturers use wind tunnel testing and they do now a lot and so two race teams. Of course I think when you see car looks like this from this era. The wind tunnel is almost always to blame to blame. They've they're designing the car based on that data that they get from the test. How does it sides? Yeah Yeah. It's a very unusual looking car to me. You know what it looks like to me and I. I'm not a huge star wars fan. Believe it or not I mean and I kind of grew up in that era and I think it was the first movie I ever saw out. You know with my parents like at a theatre back in the late seventies to me the Cadillac series. Sixty one that. This is built from based on the nineteen forty nine. Not The not the streetcar. But this car this This Monster Stra looks an awful lot like the land speeder from From Star Wars. Yeah it really does. I mean it's not the same color is not that copper color anything but it does have a lot of similarity to the land speeder. Yeah and it looks like it's almost hovering above the ground. You can't really see the wheels underneath it. It's such an unusual designed very very strange. Very cool now But imagine seeing this in nineteen fifty on the racetrack in LME. Because that's where raced Briggs Cunningham was the one who took this car and again underneath? It's nineteen forty nine Cadillac series. Sixty one is a couple of cars that he actually brought. He brought a factory. Spec manual equipped series sixty one coupe and the other one was the one that they had designed in the wind tunnel. And this is the the Lamont Stra Which means of course the monster and for good reason I mean when you see I guess But the the French. I think dubbed it but this car had a Three hundred thirty one cubic inch V eight that had five carburetors. And it says it ran an eventful race burying itself in the Sand Bank at one point in requiring Cunningham to leave the driver's seat and dig it out and then despite all that he finished eleventh in the race. Now isn't that unusual? I mean now think about getting out of the car having to dig out of a Sandbank. Get it back on. The course came back in racing again for the remainder of the twenty four hours whatever wherever it is and still finishing eleven in eleventh place. That's impressive it is impressive. It's impressive car survived that kind of a lick. The I think it's a decent finish. I GUESS FOR V. You know did something like that. Usually you know we've heard of these unusual cases where a driver will be in a race in the you know they. They Call Spin and so they've had a spin out. They didn't hit a wall or anything like that and yet they win the race somehow

Jenny Elliott on Best Cut Flowers and Dahlias

"So I'm in the middle of crop planning now. I'm doing it in chunks this year so I don't lose my mind and so that's that's all I've been thinking about lately and Yeah I think I think through things as as how I'm GONNA use them in design or how the florist that we sell to are. GonNa use the design. Because that's you know so much of what we do right so you might think of some like as focal points. For instance right. Is that what you do? You know what I have I have. I have three main categories. I think one is focal. Flowers to is accent flowers. You know those little guys that you still need arrangement And and three is A lot of people call them whimsey. Flowers maybe we call them you who arrangement and go home and then foliage too I you know is of course a really important one so In those groups Where SHOULD WE START? We start with some of the what are some of the and I guess. I should say last Last year when we spoke on the show. Um You and I talked a lot about a lot of your favorites among the maybe some of the more commonly grown zinnias and miracles. I just mentioned your favorite varieties and about succession planting sowing more than once with those and and we'll give a link to all that and we can talk about it a little again but With those focal flowers. What are some of the examples of that in in your in your planting plan that you're working on? Yeah so so. It's something that we think about as needing to have a focal flower at least through the entire season so from at least may through November So a lot of those are quite picky Greenhouses or whatnot right. Like our first one that comes in the nominees and ridiculous Followed shortly by tulips and then We plant lilies and crates in the greenhouse to kind of Fill in a gap between tulips and peonies and then again between peonies and like the summer flowers that are coming in right You know and then we've got some flowers and then all those all those loves that we already talked about the miracles rebekah and things like that at high summer on to Dahlia's and then airlift mums. And that's kind of like an overview of how we think of our focal flowers season so we gardeners now I mean. We can't plant Tulips now we could put in an order for the fall when the listings common. Think about having that as To stretch are cutting garden And Lily some of those are sold at different times of year but many in the fall peonies same thing so I mean those are important for us to think about maybe not just having in Abadan border where we might be hesitant to cut it but adding a few to Abed that's more of a nursery cutting area. Yeah Yeah not being afraid to to cut those suckers out so so Dallas Dallas and sunflower sound like to that are Ones that we should We should consider an in Dallas a little special and how they're grown. Tell us some of the ones you love both in the Dallas and sunflower some of your favorites or the types that you like Yeah well let's see Dolly is I their their favorite flower has been my whole life. I didn't yeah I loved him. I I was like a nerdy kid who who You know wrote letters to diet companies saying May. I please have a Cadillac when I was in middle school. You Know Pre Internet But I what I love about them so much as all the shapes right there's so many shapes and sizes and colors and the variety is just tremendous can be a little overwhelming So we try a lot and keep our favorites. You know but Some one of my favorites Assira glow. It's like a huge salmon dinner plate. We say it looks like a lobster. Cnn or something very dramatic Of course Kathy L. A. Week rotund us do what works and so what color. How would you describe the color? Oh it's it's it's It's blessing Milky Sometimes almost hand you know kind of ivory color and is it big or small. What shape is it? It's pretty big It's it's I think it's classified as a dinner plate but for us. It never is quite quite that big you know. Maybe maybe five six inches across And they have just these beautiful faces lots and lots of petals And then I really really love ball values. You know the perfect perfect ball. Yeah Yes yes. Yeah one that I was late to the game with but we finally put them in last year was cornell. Brown Cornell runs. Gosh yeah it's a perfect ball actually bronze colored and so prolific like just sent upstate. Master semester stem a lot. More of those do you grow any of the cactus kind or any of the other shapes or more dinner plate and and the ball types We don't do cactus ones because they have such a short base life. Oh interesting I didn't know that I. Yeah Yeah then The balls lasts longest you can get you know. It's hard with diets because they do have a short life just in general but the balls usually lasts for about a week which is the longest And then some of dinner plates are really surprising. You know you can get five days out of summer so And then the CACTUS ones the more the more loosey Goosey the pedals. Are you know like the less structure? There is high flower. I see the shorter the vase. Life Yeah. But all there's all kinds of classifications of Dahlia's right. We grow formal decorative informal decorative anemone type values and the balls and the pom-poms teeny tiny pom-pom. Yeah which I

"To take on a on a regular basis but Yeah there's definitely something to be said for pound of those gears man. It's an exhilarating feeling. You know that I mean there's no comparison to me. Yeah agreed I I think that having a manual option by the way. Look look at the C. T. S. V. Wagons that are popping up on bring a trailer the the ones with the manual transmission are pulling the money they're rare and and I think they're fun and I think now that people are buying them for more of a of a weekend toy having the The manual I think Kinda makes it makes it kind of fun. So it'll be interesting to see what they end up coming up with. I am curious to know what kind of what what they're gonNA use for a power plant. Because do they stick with what they've been using the V. or they they previously? They shared some of that. I believe with like Camaro Lt wine or corvette or or or whatever so why not Share some of that technology with with so. I don't know we'll see how it goes but Cadillac is going to be making a big push for electric vehicles as well and I think they're going to do like a hand built flagship electric vehicle that could be upwards of two hundred thousand dollars but there that's going to be like a limited edition kind of Car. I don't know how many they make fifty or something and just so. Just be a halo car for the brand in and see if they can get themselves in the same conversation as as Rolls Royce and Bentley for for For a little bit. But it'll be interesting to see what they come up. Come up with that but You know electric cars. That's a we we keep talking about that stuff and how everybody's getting into it. All the car manufacturers have to do a so. It is still kind of Nice to see Cadillac going. Yeah Yeah we're GONNA do a bunch of electric cars over the next however many years but in the meantime we're also going to come out with the five with a real hot engine and a manual transmission. So I do like that have you. Have you seen the spy photos that are popping up for the Bronco? We've seen the full size bronco? And the broncos sport a little one. I'm just going to go back to the Tyke end. Say the same.

Why Do Cars Have Alarms If We Ignore Them?

"Mark lives in Chicago and loved his nineteen ninety nine. Honda Civic hatchback. Thieves loved it too apparently late nineties. Civic is worth far more than its blue book value in parts alone. Multiple people have pulled up next to him at stop lights and offered to buy a hatchback on the spot. Maybe should've taken them up on the offer. The first time his civic was stolen the cops quickly recovered it a few blocks away. The second time mark wasn't so lucky. He went out to search for the car himself and founded about a mile from his apartment under an overpass stripped of its engine and missing the entire front paneling. Now mark takes the train mark. Civic didn't have a car alarm because like most of us he assumed that alarm where waste of money if you live in a big city falsely triggered car alarms ours communist pigeons and just as annoying blaring car alarm in. Chicago barely raises an eyebrow. There's even a name for it alarm fatigue but does our collective disdain for car. Alarms mean that they aren't effective. We spoke with Christmas. Goey security consultant of thirty three years and host of the podcast crime school. He admits that we all have alarm fatigue to some degree but thinks that alarms still have their place. He said car thieves will tell you. They don't like the noise. They don't like the attention that it draws but it depends on the quality of the car thief. If it's just an amateur car thief the alarm goes off. They're gone to that extent. They work professional car thieves on the other hand. Don't even worry about alarms. Mcgowan says the pros can either disable the alarm quickly or use a number of tactics including dummies keys and tow trucks to circumvent the alarm system altogether. According to Interpol the international law enforcement organization car-thefts worldwide can be divided into two distinct categories widely available older cars. That's quantity and higher end and luxury cars. That's quality marks ninety nine civic fits squarely in the quantity category the type of car. That's irresistible to young street level car. Thieves parts for older widely available. Cars are in high demand plus most cars built before the year. Two thousand can still be hot wired. Mcgaughey said the old cars are a piece of cake. Modern cars all the keys have a chip built into them. That chip has to be married up to the ignition. You can't go in there and break off the steering wheel column like you would in the old days. The CAR WON'T START IF LOW LEVEL CAR. Thieves are more likely to be spooked by car alarms. Then it's worth figuring out if your car is attractive to low level car thieves. I check if your car is one of the ten most stolen in America. That's a sure. Sign your quantity category according to low Jacks Two thousand sixteen vehicle theft recovery report. The most stolen makes models are behind a civic and accord Toyota Camry and Corolla the Chevy Tahoe and Silverado the Nissan Ultima Cadillac Escalade Ford F to fifty and the ACURA INTEGRA. Again older model years are the easiest to swipe and have the highest demand for parts. Mugabe's rule of thumb is quote. Look at the most popular cars today. They'll be the most stolen cars in the country ten years from now another hugely important factor is where you live according to statistics from the FBI and the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Big cities routinely have the highest total number of car thefts. But that's because there are lots of cars in big cities a more useful. Statistic is car thefts per capita in that category. California is king. California is home to eight of the ten metropolitan areas with the most cars stolen per person in Twenty fifteen Los Angeles held the title for the most car stolen nationwide fifty two thousand five hundred fifty nine but these smaller central valley cities of Modesto Bakersfield and Salinas had far greater rates per capita. Another perhaps expected capital of car. Theft is Albuquerque New Mexico number two in the country for stolen cars per resident. There might be a simple explanation for this geographical clustering of theft rates. According to a twenty twelve reports from the Department of Justice. One third of all cars stolen in the US were stolen from four states. California Arizona New Mexico and Texas. That's because there's a lucrative trade in stolen cars and parts directly into Mexico. Although the smuggling rings are operated by large criminal organizations the report concluded that the cars themselves are mostly stolen by juveniles. So if you drive a popular car that's more than decade old and you live within a few hours drive of the border. It's probably worth investing in a highly visible alarm system. The flashy decals alone might be enough to deter thief scanning the aisles in the mall parking lot but if a car alarm does go off near you you shouldn't go investigate unless you're Blah enforcement or security personnel. It's their job to investigate. Alarms not bystanders.

I do want to get your thoughts on where where we are with Oklahoma because I have no idea what has happened the last couple weeks with his defense. You know I was watching that game. It's forty two twenty one on my. Ira they ninety seven yard. Drive CD land plays a huge role in my God. They're done with. I would say they're moving on and then next thing you look you're like what the heck's going on it's forty two forty one surviving this game and it seems like this defense has taken multiple steps back and they've got Baylor this weekend whether they're going to be Baylor. It's just the the test of where this defense is. Big Questions on what's going on with the sooners. Yeah and we were really you know the first five six weeks a year. It was just like I tell you that this Oklahoma defense they're more aggressive the big game against Texas. They got so much pressure on Etlinger and they were using a lot. Stems stems in twists and different Games Upfront linebacker. Play was was really good and it was like you know what this is a different year. Different Different Team New Defense Coordinator Alex grinch to a good job being more aggressive and then I think they got up against teams. That started to get a little bit of a kind of a book. Look on their scheme and how they were selling out at the line of scrimmage and it was. I think the last couple weeks surprising to say the least least to see what Kansas Skate. Kansas state and scholar Thomson did against him with a QB run game and especially down in the red area and they looked like forty two to whatever it was forty two twenty one twenty eight late in the game three minutes to go. You're like this could be a nice win for them. I was a good team. I mean people look at Iowa state in their record. Maybe don't don't appreciate them. I stayed is good. That would have been a really solid win by. Oh you if they would have been able to hold on the where it was and you know. Brock pretty wouldn't go away. I kept making plays thinking ended up with two hundred eighty two yards throwing through the air and they almost got two hundred yards on the ground. I think oh you with a couple of turnovers late late turnover by jalen hurts was shocking to say the least. We rolled his right on a scramble and threw the ball. I thought he might throw that one away and the clones ended up getting pick a big pick and they get the chance to go down and potentially tied the game and then you could sit there and argue with Matt Campbell. Should he just tied the game or should he go for the two points in the win. I I know you guys debated that I. I don't know I I think you're Iowa state you're sitting there with three losses already on the year. You're playing bid big bad Oklahoma in Norman and and you come back. I have no issue going for that in by the way the tight end I love brock. Party it's easy to watch on TV and see it. The play a well-designed play brock. Just kind of locked in on a guy he had tied in they broke. Free would have been the game winner if he saw him but he didn't happens but I think it was the right call by camel to go for. But you're right. Oh you you know. Now they got Baylor on the road and probably won't be an easy one this week. Either no and Baylor Baylor wins with their style. They will grind you down. It's it's not pretty but brew make a play here or there and again. TCU was I- Dugan wasn't a hundred percent TC did a really good job but baylor fine changed just ways to win their battle tested. And if you're going to get into a game where it is closed at the end. I would take Matt Rule at home in a game like that against Oklahoma and I'm just saying if it's close at the end just because they've been in that environment multiple times this season and they find ways. Yeah something's gotTa give give this week because Baylor wants to play a game like the old school. Sec Big tent like they want it to be twenty one seventeen seventeen or twenty to thirteen th. That's that's their wheelhouse right and Oklahoma. What that's the first quarter score? There's somebody you didn't talk to this week or something like that and I'm like Oh my gosh and I was like. Here's my thoughts. I give all these sixty seconds on analysis. He look at me and be like kind of waved his hands. Arkansas offers Michigan pickup trucks cadillacs. I'm going to pick up trucks and I'm sitting there breaking down like you know the defense offense and that's I learned through Osmosis as he always says we're in the entertainment business and I've just been so lucky to sit next to him and go from where he didn't ever wear a headgear. He would just kind of wear a hat. Somebody had around the fans he would point out to one of our guys. Hey go get. That guy's hat. He he just put on a ball cap or something when he would make pick to. Finally my wife cheered at Ohio State. We were at a higher state one year and he asked. My wife goes to cheerleading coach. If I can wear brutus had and she asked her in the lady said no and he said no we got we come on you again. He got the athletic director involved and they finally cleared the could wear the brutus head for again for a pick and he put on the Brutus head and from that point on he's worn a headgear. You know every time he makes the pick and just to sit next to him and more importantly. I think I didn't have kids. I didn't have a wife when I first started working on Game Day and then I got married varied ended up having identical twins. My kids are gone from being like years. Now they're really young all the way up to now. I have two in college one in high school one in middle school and all the way through. There's so many times I'd be in the back of a car and we're going to a photo shoot or something in the summer and he you know he's got four kids himself and I would just ask ask him stuff and and he was almost like a iota for me just a guy that listen to me. You know he's iconic and at the same time he's just as sweet and Nice of a man is you could ever hope to meet so. That's beautiful yeah total package. Yeah it's beautiful and I love the stories about coach No matter where you guys are he finds a way to go to church right over the weekend. It was beautiful talking about the nuance behind the scenes. And and why. He's not just a great teammate. On the air but he's part part of the family. Is there a favorite moment for you on Game Day with him that stands out so many. Yeah there there's so many funny moments moments with him but I think that the time that really stood out to me just to the older gotten. He's gotten a little more sentimental and we did an we do army navy every every year on College Game Day and we were in an army navy game. And somehow I don't know if it was Lee fitting drew gallagher. One of one of the guys that work with our show one of the execs came up with some old footage of Lee coaching at Navy. Coaching like in the fifties navy. and He's and he's coaching an and and it was was real raw footage and the players at the end of this practice leading into the army game. They threw him into the into the river and it was part of kind of their tradition and we came out of it. "He's admitted to everything. And the fact fact he's repaid the money. You're probably going to see that number reduced. I can't sit here and predict exactly. Oh they're going to reduce it to three games. Oh they're going to reduce. Is it to two games. Oh it's only going to be one it's impossible to predict what the NCWA ultimately will do but the important thing is it started it for Ohio state gathers the information information they include chase. Young's information within that they send it to the NCW NCWA has a committee that will look at all the information. And hopefully they'll bill spit back the the final analysis in what the final games suspension is by the end of this week. So I stayed should know I expected from the the folks I talked with it. Ohio state I would expect based on the character of chase. Young fact he's never been in trouble. I would expect that number to be reduced but I absolutely absolutely. Nobody has any idea how many games it'll be reduced to until the NCWA gets back and gives Ohio state that final word. So it's at for expected to be dropped down I would I would speculating gas that it might be too. But we'll have to wait and see what they say Ed and if it's at two that would be the Maryland game which just happened this past week and then rutgers this weekend and then the final two games penn state coming to the horseshoe and then on the road of the big house at Michigan All critical especially when you look at the way Michigan been playing and Penn State. You know we'll see where they are mentally and how they handle Coming off that loss. Moving forward Idaho state by the way he handled. You could say whatever you want Maryland at Maryland Orland who care but I. I don't care who you're playing that that's you lose your alpha. You lose your guy and for them to just go out and just from word go. The game was over. Seventy seventy three to fourteen and justin fields continues to play Great Football Ohio State. I think they were up forty to nothing. Could it just could have been whatever they wanted it to be but fields continues to play very very well. their offense is very very balanced. have so many different different weapons and the defense even without chase young played good but I think more than anything. It was just blocking out that that noise. That potential distraction and just going going out and continuing to be the team that they've been really from week one on your philosophy is Lsu foot on the gas the entire time and that's a huge credit dorion day who who who is in his time there at Ohio State has handled a couple of things and big issues and he makes sure they don't explode get out of his control. That's the one thing I've admired. What about obviously his his his offensive philosophy? He's done such a good job of making sure. WE'RE NOT GONNA get emotionally over the top here. We will handle this and we will. We'll handle our business on Saturday. The right way very well very well said. I don't think enough people are looking at the job that he is doing individually Vigili. Not only the team the way they're playing they look like right now and they're big games ahead of them but the we've we've bragged on them as a team and the players and they deserve it but Ryan Day and the pressure of trying to become that next head coach after Urban Meyer and doing it his way he and his staff deserve a lot lot of credit. Because I'll be honest. This is the best looking Ohio state team that they've had and fourteen. They won it all in the national title and that was a great team And they had to overcome some some obstacles air late in the year with J. T. Barrett went down with injuries. They lost Braxton Miller earlier. They ended up using cartel L. Jones late Theoretically using your third string quarterback that was incredible the way they played late against Wisconsin in the big ten championship and of course they beat Alabama and they go on to beat Oregon. But I'm talking from word go like week one boom two-week wherever you are ten right now. I can't remember Ohio. Oh state team being this dominant and this complete I the OH sixteen. Maybe until they lost the Florida order in the national title. That team was really really good. That your choice. Smith won a heisman trophy. But I mean I'm talking offense defense special teams they. They they They they look great and Ryan Day and his staff deserve a lot of credit for that. I'm with you a hundred percent of the test. They passed every single thing every single quarter. They play that they don't let down and that that's that stems from the the leadership from the coaching staff. As well as the guys that they've had And Justin fields has it's been just superb when he's on the field when they don't need them in the second half to save them up. That's a good thing. We'll be back in a minute with her thoughts on where things stand with Oklahoma but first a word from. At and Carl Hart College football is great unless of course it's just okay like when students decided to paint their chess with different letters to spell l. some word and then they stand together to get on TV but their spelling the word wrong or they lined up in the wrong order. Sure not everybody's an English major and I get it. We can't all win the National Spelling Bee. But come on people you should know how to spell wildcats bulldogs. The purpose isn't a have a word were jumble in the student section to keep your mind sharp or something just okay is not okay..

"We always see those games for Iowa when they're playing at home home and they're playing a team. That's highly ranked this week. Minnesota after a motion wind kind of unchartered waters for them with all that attention. Can they come back down to earth and go take on always tough Iowa team at home when it's cold and it gets dark early and it's just one of those kind of games have to show a lot oughta maturity and the last one. I think where you might. You may have that. May Have Moment. Could beat a game or College Game Day. We'll be it's ABC. Primetime game the Oklahoma sooners. You went over their percentages. He went over Baylor's they go head to head in Waco Matt Rule. The job he has done and taking over in Waco in his third year has the bears at nine and oh playing very efficient just kind of mentally tough team finding ways to win games they take on Jalen hurts and Lincoln Riley and that had Oklahoma sooners offense at that could be really really entertaining game. Yeah and great look up To to what we can expect this weekend And by the way Minnesota feel good and what they did there. Three point dogs on the road is so Vegas Vegas already say. Hey back to reality here. While you're feeling feeling that emotional come up. As they should well-deserved they understand what's at stake here and what that environment is going to be like a Kinik and before we move on. Let's pause the hear more from allstate because mayhem on Saturdays. In the fall is inevitable mayhem. Happens on the field off the field and in the polls mayhem. AM lives on the wind in the rain on the foot of an errand kick and during a trap game. You'll find mayhem in the parking lot during tailgates charcoal. Let's go back to Tuscaloosa and talk about the Joe Borough Heisman game as well as Clyde Edwards layer guy the way he was running in that game he just reminded me of Mark. Ingram back in Alabama the way he's built the way the power and he may be even a little bit smaller than Ingram them back then but still to me it's Lsu responding each and every time and Eddie. Oh revamping. The team's philosophy in the last two years all. Aw for that one game finally getting that monkey off his back and beating. Nick Sabin What was aside from Joe Borough making king the plays what else stood out game for you? Well just the answers like. They've had all year I. I was fortunate enough to call their game early against Texas and just been tracking jacking him every week since watching him very very closely. And I think there's a few things that stand out to me number one while Justin Jefferson and Jim are chase as terrorist. Marshall get a lot of attention and they should I think the amount of weapons that they have is the thing that really stands out at Clyde Edwards. Agila just doesn't get the attention he deserves and I think if you've really watched him in close games against teams like Florida and especially all burn in Alabama. Emma he is stepped up in such a major way because what teams are doing is how many times does number nine gotta stand back there and throw these quick slants and take shots. It's down field and find. Find the big tied in Moss. Who's WHO's really another name that I think is coming on randy son? Thaddeus Moss is starting to become another weapon and people are so consumed with number two jefferson number one chase now. Six is out there Marshall that they're forgetting that you're going to leave a linebacker backer on on Clyde Edwards Layer man-to-man. He's GONNA eat your lunch so they've got that answer now. You Got Moss one against the linebacker. He's an answer so they have five receivers out. You got a quarterback who so in tuned with the scheme and with the offense coordinator in the play calling that. It's it's just even Nick Sabin with two weeks to be ready. Couldn't stop the answers and and so I've seen this all year and Lsu fans that are listening. They've seen it all year. We keep talking about how they've come from one extreme defense ball control running the ball doing just enough in the old days. That's who they bend. That's who their identities bent to the other extreme. Which is now Joe Borough Joe Brady opening things up? Oh we have avenue lead late over on the road we're on the road and Texas. Who Cares foot on the gas? Let's go oh we've got lead against Auburn. We were scared nervous foot on the gas. Let's go oh Florida's coming back against his foot on the gas. Let's go now we're in Tuscaloosa. Here comes big bad tour. We're up big now. They got it within one possession. Oh man shall we just try to get out of here go four corners worked o'clock make them use timeouts. No no no foot on the gas here we go. That's that's the thing about. LSU that if you're a college football fan you have to love is yeah borough. And he's going to win the heisman. He he's in pole position now. Yeah Joe o'brady yeah. Justin Jefferson Jomar Chase Clyde Edwards Hilaire but man coach. Oh with this provider with this. We don't give a heck we're going and we're playing to win. I mean it's just incredible. Difference from who their their identity and their culture has been for years to who they are this year and like. I said if you're a college football fan it's almost impossible not to be a fan of their team and their style and the way they carry themselves and I just keep tipping my cap to them and and hope they keep it going because it is. It's a great story and it's a lot of fun to watch the team execute offensively every single week and now they gotta stay focus too because again we we saw it made its rounds over the weekend. The locker room video and I'm sure or somebody got trouble after that where you're like that's just indoors. Keep that inside the program. Yeah you know just just kind of foregone. Foregone conclusion you would think most people would know in the midst of a celebration not not record anything you know. Have your music on or you know record each other kind of smile and having fun and dance in all. That's fine but man. You cannot not record the coach and what he says says you know. I remember Mike Tomlin when he made some comments and Antonio Antonio Brown yeah had video that and it's just like it's the all time no like coaches say things I think in the baseball the manager of the cardinals maybe made some comments. It's I think it was the cardinals and it was on video. It's just when a coach is talking and he's emotional and he's fired up. Say some things it you don't want the world to know about right. I mean it's it's just a given and hopefully that won't get a lot of traction. I'm sure Alabama will use use that next time they play Lsu. But I'm not allowing that to take away from Just a magical weekend in great moment for Lsu and and he had we we talk Brady and borough a lot but coach. Oh He's the captain man he he's driving this thing and that bravado that attitude that go for broke mentality tally that comes from him and so we gotta make sure we give him a all the credit for what we're seeing from. Lsu Right now. And like I said I got old miss this week on the road We Got Arkansas back home and then Thanksgiving weekend. They'll they'll host Texas am. They'll be heavily favored in all three. There I on the prize and exciting and Georgia for the SEC. Championship and sixty minutes away from being the number one seed and playing in Atlanta Atlanta more than likely if they keep winning they'll be in Atlanta as the number one seed they will not move them out to Phoenix so think about this for Lsu fans plan Atlanta Atlanta for the SEC championship playing Atlanta. This is easy travel by the way. I'm playing Atlanta for the semi-final and think about that as a home field advantage and then if they win that play in New Orleans. I can't imagine for the National Championship. I mean does it get any better for Lsu than twenty nineteen so just keep just keep focus. Don't listen to any compliments. Stay angry at the world. Stayed like play with a chip on your shoulder. Keep going and they'll go Atlanta Atlanta New Orleans Pau for their postseason the foot on the gas the on again and the the idea of Lsu in the national championship in New Orleans in the superdome. I can't even imagine we know seven. That's all Seven when Ohio state played them and Ohio state jumped out early. BEANIE wells had a big run. And I know I'll never forget standard on on that field looking up up and it's anytime at. SEC team plays a big time sugarbowl or a big game in that setting. It's always about seventy thirty. Maybe maybe sixty five thirty five. But it's always kind of an intimidating atmosphere you put Lsu in there and it's it's like eighty twenty and feels like ninety ninety ten. I mean it is it will be a wild wild scene down there if they again just kind of keep keep going about their business all right and Lsu's Hughes going about their business. Ohio state as well and I mean they've got rutgers this coming week. I think they're favored by fifty one points and they they dominate Maryland. You've been all over the story. And that was the biggest story entering the weekend and the surrounding chase young any other details. How's that you could provide for us that yet? You're hearing because the it was great on Game Day to get the information that you're providing their four game suspension at least four games potentially eventually out. Yeah right from the school as the investigation continues. Yeah I appreciate that I think a lot of people misconstrued some reports. I even our own. ESPN DOT COM Tom. It's herbstreet says chase young suspension four games period Can you put the dot dot dot there. Because that's that's not what I said. I said here's how it works with the NCW. When a player any player gets involved in taking money it the NCWA the way they look at that they don't subjectively say Oh really? Well we're GONNA suspend him for one game and it's the amount of money that's taken and the amount of money in this case taken and and then repaid slotted in it four games. Okay now. That's how it starts. That's where it is four games now. Ohio Hi oh state will gather all their information talk. They can't talk publicly. They're going to gather all their information. They'RE GONNA they're gonNA talk to chase. They're gonNA talk to chase his family. You're GonNa talk all all the parties involved. They're going to fill out their report. They're going to send that to the NCWA. That's what's being done right now as we speak. They'll send that to the NC see double at the NC double way will gather that information the fee and then here's a hell it works the fact that chase young isn't denying this. He's been very forthcoming coming. He sat there and answered all their questions. He's told him everything that they want to know the fact that he's never been in trouble at Ohio state he goes to class. Never had any the issues off the field. He's a captain on the team. All of those things you look at the history the NCWA would help Ohio state and Chase Young's case to get these this number from four reduced down to possibly two games. If he were a kid it skipped class had other issues. Who's had a DUI had just a guy that's been a problem they could take that four and take it up to six theoretically so it starts at four and and then based on all the Intel that Ohio state will provide in the way chase? Young is handling himself. He should be commended for the way he's handling it the NCWA from what. I'm hearing from Ohio state this week. They should hear back from the NCWA and more than likely you're going to see that based on chase young is the fact. He's admitted to everything. And the fact fact he's repaid the money. You're probably going to see that number reduced. I can't sit here and predict exactly. Oh they're going to reduce it to three.

Yeah great look up To to what we can expect this weekend And by the way Minnesota feel good and what they did there. Three point dogs on the road is so Vegas Vegas already saying.
