"Away because there's still alive in the playoffs. Yeah, I think I just don't think the answer to that bad. They're one of those teams. They really were good last week in that cold weather game with Cleveland. I thought that was a cool win for them. And Dennis Allen has been on the hot seat all season long for some decisions and stuff. They've won two straight games and I know, and you and I have gone back and forth on them, but like I thought that was a big win. Like that was a big boy win. They went in there as a warm weather dome team went into Cleveland and ran the ball down their throats. Just for the record, I have not gone back and forth on him. I am back. I think he sticks. I have been the one going for but there's 6 and 9. They lost that ridiculous Tampa game. So let's just give them the win for that. 7 and 8. And then you go through and they had a couple others just awful. Can I tell you something that Minnesota loss was bad and weak for it? That was crazy. But do you remember the DJ Moore helmet thing? Think about the NFC south right now. If those refs don't call that penalty on DJ Moore, who took his helmet off against Atlanta, which would have been a game tying touchdown, then they had the 15 yards and they missed the extra point. All that stuff. If they don't call that penalty, there's a chance the Panthers very good chance Panthers win that game and the Panthers are in the driver's seat right now as opposed to having to come from behind and beat the Buccaneers that went out the rest of the season. Well then add the cade York 59 yard field goal too. Crazy to ludicrous endings that go against Carolina. Let's talk about Carolina. I'm staying away from eagles saints, even though I love mint shoe because I don't totally know what Philly's motivation is at this point. We know they need to win one of the next two. So they need it, but it's not like life or death, whereas for the saints it is life or death. I think the saints are a good December team. That game scares me if I'm an eagles. Yeah. I'm just staying away. I'm with eagles and a tease. I don't want to put saints and ended up parlay. Staying away. Stay away. Panthers bucks though. So people listening all year and be like, oh, so this is definitely taking the Panthers. No question. Here it goes. Tampa clinches with a win that clinched the south. It's over. Carolina has to win both, but they do control their own destiny. Last 5 weeks, their 9th and DVA, they killed Tampa Bay the last time. Here's the problem. They have no cornerbacks. They're down. The JC horn thing is a mass murder and supposedly he can come back for week 18. It hurts. But just in my head, it reminds me of that Seattle game in Germany. When they just couldn't cover, it just was quick outs. It was 8 yards, ten yards, 9 yards, and Brady's just throwing throwing throwing. And if the bucks don't do that in this game, then they have the dumbest coaching staff of all time. Just spread the spread the field and have Brady throw these 7, 8, 9 yard outs. I think Carolina has a better team, but the cornerbacks thing is just the murder. There's a couple of weird bets though. There's Carolina wins the first half and the game is plus two 20. Carolina wins the first half and the game, okay? Because the thought is, if we fall behind the games over team, right? Gets to try to get the lead. Oh, here we go. They're down ten three to Brady. I don't see them coming back. There's also a bet that kind of fits the season more. Carolina was the first half and then Tampa wins the game. That's what the bucks do every week. And then hit that left witch hug with Brady that the cameras show, and they're like, these guys love each other, man, and you're like, do they? I don't know what that is. They've literally won. They won four or 5 games that way. So I don't think Panthers plus

"Game because I'm still mad. All right, this stupid Tampa Bay team. I think I've been on the wrong side of them. Probably 5 times now. I don't know how I'm doing it. Over and over again, I've been on the wrong side of whoever. But today with Tampa, it's 17 to ten for like an hour. At one point, they have the ball. It's like 12 minutes left. It's fourth and two on the Cleveland 37. And they're like, this is great. They can run for 5 yards against this Cleveland is the worst run defense in the league. Just run the ball, whatever. They take a delay a game. It's like, that's weird. And then they punt it in the end zone. And that was what they did with a 7 point lead. It's just like, go for it. You can go up ten against Jacobi bresette with ten minutes left. What are you guys doing? Go for the kill. They had a three and out. They had that fourth and two. Then another three now, they had a three and out in the final three minutes. They get the ball back with under three minutes left. Chance one first down, games over. They can't even get that. They'll let the browns come back down fourth and ten. The catches that he doesn't Odell in the back of the end zone over time. They go 6 plays for 18 yards punt. Cleveland stop, get the ball back, 6 plays for 16 yards. Put it twice in overtime. So bad. This team's 5 and 6, and everybody's thinking, oh no, this will be the team. You know, these will be the guys that make the AFC south Sal. I'm telling you. Are the NFC south? Stop with the camera. Turn the camera, Kyle. Turn on those to the south turn. Turn on the camera. You cross them off. Now I've uncrossed four and 8. Listen to their rest of the way. They're at Seattle, who Seattle has no pass rush anymore. You just get to stand back and run around for 9 seconds against them. Then that'll be fine against Sam darnold, but go ahead, yeah, keep going. Same darnold was good today. Home Pittsburgh, home Detroit at Tampa home New Orleans. That is Alan I'll probably be fired a minute after that game. I don't know. I think 8, 9 is going to win this division. And if they win that Tampa game, could they go four and four and one the rest of the way? It's conceivable. I guess. And there are physical team. They really are. I would want to play them week to week. But not gonna. Go backwards, so remember that first week Cleveland that cade York made a 59 yarder to beat him. It's a giants. They completely fucked that game up. The first Atlanta game, DJ Moore takes his home off when they're about to win. I don't know, man. Losers do. They lose weird games. They have weird endings, but so you're asking Sam darnold to put together like three straight wins at some point. That's what I'm doing. That's what I'm doing. You're mad at Brady. Listen, I think you're looking at this the wrong way. We need to embrace this. This is really like, we want them to be the Ford seed. That'll be so, you know how much he'll be overvalued. We're always looking for a playoff team. The route again. If there are four seed, maybe Washington's a 5 seed, maybe Dallas is the 5 seat. You'll have to get, you'll get points. That's our pick. Come on. Well, here's the irony today. They fucked that game up so badly. Then it goes in overtime. Then they're right tackle gets hurt. Right? Worse. He's probably out. They said the x-rays were negative, who knows, but he's going to be out for a few weeks. So instead of just putting the game away and regulation being 6 and 5, you lose an overtime, you're 5 and 6, and you lose your right tackle. And then the other thing, Kyle, don't listen to this part. Is there a camera still on? Kyle, turn the camera off and turn it sideways, Kyle. Face the ceiling. Yeah. Brady, Brady was bad in that game today. Like Brady looked old. He was sailing balls over people's head. He missed, I would say 8 wide open guys in that game. He missed throws that he would make in his sleep. The ones that are blocked at the line of scrimmage are the ones that concern not that I care. But that right? Those are the ones like, oh my God, and a crossing pattern, he should get that. That's a 6 yard throw. Why is it anyone getting their mitts on it? If he was even if he was even a C plus in that game, they win easily. And then the other guy, and I don't know if he's hurt or what's going on, but Mike Evans looks like he's like semi washed up. Listen, these are guys. Disgusting. If they do anything like you said, I would have beaten you by 15 points, but yeah, that was a bad game to watch. Really? In overtime where he threw a long pass to Evans, which of course he sailed a little too long, like he did the entire game. And it felt like Evans could have dough for it, and haven't she's kind of stopped? Right. And it was like, what do you guys, what are you doing? This is a close game. Why don't you lay after that? Also, to just giving you the game. There really are. First of all, there are disaster. There was a skunk in the stadium in the beginning, right? And there were tire tracks that vandalized the field. It's like biff's world and Back to the Future. Just get in and get out. They're giving you the wind. They're done. And now they're given Watson a losing team. And somehow they pulled it out because Tampa and you didn't, I mean, the coach and I think that was the worst coaching. Well, I want to get to the coach. Yeah, the coaching, the bulls left Twitch combo is really something. And every time they cut the bulls, he looks like he's watching his car get towed. I haven't seen him do anything on the sidelines. If you do, if you search left footage on Twitter during these games, the bucks fans are having a stroke about how predictable the play calling is and the sequencing,

"World Series. To bring their fans hopes up. Those were the two things, but I think the Yankees getting swept like today, there was some stories about how they were talking about the 2004 Red Sox, like as a motivational thing. Yeah, they showed them the tapes. They have some mental coach that comes in and showed them tapes of the 2000 20 season for me. They sat there and watched that. I can't believe it. It was so great. I'm so happy. They've spent the worst Red Sox season, especially like schwarber being good on the Philly's was just such a punch to the gut because we still don't know why we let him go, but to have the I know you play for the same team. He played for the same team, but that's like if your podcast your ratings slipped a little and Spotify's like, hey, let's go watch Joe Rogan. Go watch this inspirational film. I don't even know what to compare it to. And they sat there and watched the Red Sox. Remember they did this to you? I loved it. Everything that's transpired over the last few days is great. You knew they were in trouble and it took them 5 days to 5 games to beat that crappy one team. Well, now that's the score and runs tonight, but they were striking out all over the place, right? They had something like 30 strikeouts in three games. It was great. Every batter started with an O2 count. I'm sorry. I don't want to talk about baseball so much. But wait, so you hate the Phil is that? I hate the Philly, so I can't have Philly's Yankees. The Astros, here's the thing with the cheating and the Astros, Garrett Cole's on the Yankees, okay? So he benefited from that cheating as much as anyone. So you can't really separate the two at this point. And I hate the Yankees anyway. So I have to have astrals and I have a ten to one ticket with the Astros, so I need the Astros to beat the Phillies. So there was some, I guess somebody bought it at MGM in April. There was some Phillies Phillies Astros ticket that it was like, I don't know, $500 bet but the guy went like a 125 K it's like 250 to one. It was when the Phillies were, you know, kicking the curb. I was like those stories. It was people like us hope when we're making dumb bets on some sort of future. They remember that guy, the Astros Phillies. Yeah, but we wouldn't hedge. And then the Phillies. We would have screwed it up somehow. We didn't screw it up that year at the warriors that way when we had the warriors 31. I think it was the biggest one. You probably did. We probably hedged it the wrong at the wrong time. The Phillies thing has been pretty fun. I gotta say, I don't really have an opinion on the Philly. You're a mets fan there in your vision. You dislike that. But I've kind of enjoyed it. Well, yeah, I mean, I'm going to have, if the film was in the World Series, it's going to be the Phillies, the braves last year. Dodges were before that. And then the nationals, the year before. So three out of the four years was teams coming from my division. Imagine if the Tampa Bay won and the Blue Jays and the Yankees won three out of four years. If you gave me the choice of the Phillies win the World Series, but the 6 are season as a complete thumbs to fire. I'm taking that every time. They lost at home yesterday. Some shitty team. I can't even remember who. And the Doc Rivers watch is on. All of it's great. I love it. More football. Lamar's contract gamble. I have that one written down. Hench was texting us about that. How Lamar did the beta myself thing, but his last four weeks have not gone awesome. I had a great line. He's like, Times Square should put up a tote board and show how much money Lamar Jackson continues to lose by not signing having signed a contract in the off season. He hasn't been awesome. I mean, the thing today was they were blitzing the shit out of him, the browns. Right. Yeah. And that was one of those. That was a kitchen sink game for the browns. I stayed away. I had no anything on it. I didn't know what to expect from the brands, but they fought. And as usual, it came down to Brissette unable to kind of orchestrated fourth down thing. If you put Watson in there, the whole year of a percent. They're probably like 5 and two, four and three, I think, right? He's costing them two games. Yeah, for sure. I mean, I think if they now they're going to fight to 500, I think, by the time he gets back there, but you're right. It is always percent blowing it at the end or actually go, I'm pretty sure the coach has really just gets a kick out of watching this guy just miss bomb field goals. They've got more back to 60 yards on a false start. Cade York comes in. I was blocked. Everyone finds it hilarious and the Raven survived. He's another terrible game manager Stefanski. "Quarterback. We had Jordan poyer on yesterday. I love the story of him saying he got in a sprinter van with his wife and his daughter and drove 15 hours because he didn't want to leave his teammates by the side of the road just because he couldn't fly. So he drove. And I just love what this team is doing, man. They're doing it all and they believe in each other, and that's why they still are my top team on my power rankings. So no change in the top three still bills one still eagles two still chiefs three. I'm taking the cowboys to move up a spot, even though they lost. And they're at top of the Giants who they beat. And I think if the Giants and Vikings play each other, I'll still take the Giants. I kind of dig them. And the jets are ten Titans 9 Bengals 8. San Francisco 7 and the ravens packers bucks and dolphins all dropped off my top ten list. So what size is that it? That is, sir? Cowboys lose. And go up one. And go up. Titans don't play. Appear on a list at 9. Ahead of a team that won on the road and has more wins. Right. And I still need to see a little bit more out of my jets. How does that sound? I think I'm going to see some more out of my jets coming up this weekend. And the Chargers, I just, even though they're foreign to, I still, you know, that could have been, if they didn't, if they didn't, if they didn't get that break on special teams. They're playing weary. They might have lost that game even. Or tie whatever. I don't know what's going on with them either. They should be so much better. And same with even though they're foreign too. The ravens too, man. The ravens are looking about like, we should have won that game against the Giants. And against the bills. And they should have won that game against the bills and the dolphins. Forget that one. They easily be 6 O. They're going to be there at the end. They're working through some injuries, they're getting some guys back. They're run game as a little weird right now. It is. Isn't that amazing? Coming back from injury, Gus Edwards still hasn't been activated even though he's been practicing. He's coming back from an injury. And yet and yet they're running game is okay because do you know I saw this one before and here we go. Just want to make sure I did see it correct. Do you know what the 5th leading rusher in the NFL is? Is it Lamar Jackson? It is indeed. It is indeed 34 yards behind miles Sanders fourth. Josh Jacobs is third at four 90, even though he was on a buy. Mister gaming, he's at four 90. Saquon 6 16 Nick Chubb, 6 49. How about that? He's got 649 yards rushing and the browns are two and four. And they got and they got a field goal from cade York at the final gun. They could have lost that one against Carolina. Some bad turnovers from Jacoby Brissette waiting games. That's my power rankings. They're okay. But you know, I think I'm being consistent and I think I'm proving myself, right? And I think I'm enjoying the endeavor way more than I thought I would. That I know for a fact. What took so long, man. But in their different, come on. Tell me somebody else's power rankings who look like this because you could just take, well, this team's 5 and one that that team has to be above a team that's foreign to us to be above a team that's three and three. Four and two above a teammates three and three because this is a power ranking and you must rank them powerfully. You're doing that. That's the point. Whatever that is, yeah, yeah. How was your day today? How was your day today? How are your pay rankings today? About my power rankings were just by record. We don't do that here. All right? I just used the royal wedding. I love how he never did power rankings, right? He refused to do power rankings. He was and now he's making the rules. He wrote the rule book for power. I'm sitting here. Don't talk about me like I'm not sitting here. I'm just saying. You never participated. How many younger burger coming up? We get to watch Zion play basketball tomorrow. Yeah, that's a beautiful thing. In Brooklyn, the audacity of people trying to write Zion off last year. You'll see. We'll see. He's going to be great. Do we see our first moment of walking past Steve Nash as they call time out? We're all wondering what the body language is saying. Does that happen tonight? Does Ben Simmons make a three tonight? No. Stop. Is he attempt one? No. Ben Simmons suits though tonight, right? Ben says his place. He's playing. Two guys are gonna play it all last year. Benson is gonna get ten dimes a night. You think so? Pretty much guaranteed double double. Does he shoot a layup? Well, that's always going to shoot. Nah, he's really? Because that's what left him. Philly. That was kind of a little bit of a jumper. He'll take you to the rack, though. He'll take you off the dribble to the hole, so it's tonight the night, and that's just put it all together and put it right on New Orleans and tell the rest of the league this is it. That's the way it's going to go. But something that's going to get put on rich and that someone on the poster by Zion. Let's go. We are immunized and ready to go. I don't think any of those guys are even immunized. Never know. Never know. 40 for Durant tonight? That's probably going to happen. Anyway, here we go. Association. There we go. Nets and Zion tonight right. Morant and the next job at it. All right, I have never rooted for the grizzlies harder in my life. You should just be. Done. I'm in. Our predictions for the NBA season and Mark helgenberger coming up.

"You impressed of how long it's taken for me to bring up your decision making in Cleveland? Are you impressed by the fact that I've held off this long? Well, I think that you're one of those guys that's going to save the best for last. Well, I'm really kind of create a sort of a crescendo. And really end the conversation with the bank. I appreciate you giving me the compliment I fished for coach. I really, really do. You're a giver. So I mean, I feel like we've had this conversation before with your decision to go for it on fourth down, more than not, can you walk me through what you were thinking in that game? In Cleveland, coach, please? Yes, just similar to the week before in Houston, we felt like our offense was rolling. It felt like we had really good match ups. And they were out of time outs and we really felt like we could end the game right there. And we had the match up that we wanted. We had the ball and the person's hands that we wanted and we were on the road and it was a really tough game. All the way through the fourth quarter was really tough and we wanted to finish the game with the ball and that's what I was thinking. And if it didn't go down, I felt like we could cover them because I felt like we had covered them in the passing game. And I had faith that if we didn't make it that we could get the stop and their kicker had had an up and down season to that point and I felt like given the ball to Justin and trying to locate Mike that that was the best decision for our team. So what are you thinking as cade York is teeing it up? Coach. What goes through your head? It was tight. I was really happy with how our defense played in that circumstance. I felt like our guys competed, we knew that we had to play tight coverage. We knew we needed to rush the quarterback well that making sure that he didn't scramble because he had made some loose plays in that game and I thought our guys executed and that that's what was going to be required in order to keep them out of keep them out of the end zone, keep them from making that kick. So we made a couple of big plays defensively. And it was one of those awesome road wins as a team. Sure. And you looked your savvy guy or a head coach in the NFL, you know you're going to be second guessed and certainly on the spot as you were. Including a member of your own team and a significant one as well. I mean, Keenan Allen tweeted out as it was happening, WTF, are we doing? Have you had a conversation with Keenan about this? I have. Of course I have. The very next day. So keen and I, as I told you, every time I've gone on this show and I know that you've spoken to Keenan, he's close on this closest with him as anybody on our football team since I've become the head coach. So I think that I'll keep that conversation between us. Okay. I know that I know how Keenan feels about the Chargers. I know how he feels about me. And I was one of those things where I'm sure you're going to get the chance to ask him live. I know that we're a lot closer because of it. I know that competition, that's part of the game. And he wishes he was out there and like I said, you can talk to him about all that stuff, but I know that I don't question Keenan Allen and where his heart is and how he feels about me or the same. And you know that that's just part of competition. And I think that as you're seeing every single week, I'm not alone. The other 31 coaches in the league are going through the exact same thing. And as part of why sports is so special and I'm always going to take full responsibility for what happens. Well, maybe when I have Keenan on, let's say, a month from now, it won't come up because you'll be on like a 6 game winning streak. How about that? Well, no, I don't think that with Keenan and I, we don't have anything to hide and I think that I think that, as you know, with Keenan, he keeps it as real as anybody in the league and he's one of the most favorite guys that I've ever coached. So I'm just happy that he's one day closer to being back out there for us. And he's going to be a big reason why we have a special year. I was just positively manifesting, which is what I do and return in kind for somebody who gives me the compliment I was fishing for. That's the quid in the pro and the quo right there. Right there, all in one. Thank you for the time, coach. I really appreciate it. Thanks for having me. Always, always. "Like that. There is no reason why the league officials and the art mcnally named officiating review center, they can't see something like that, call, Walt Anderson, the head of NFL refs over and say, we got something in Atlanta. Walt, what do we got? Well, this was called roughing the passer. And they run it back. And then they could get in Jerome's ear and say Jerome, hold on a minute. And so what is he going to do? He's not going to go to any replay monitor. No, he could call his other officials together. And they're having a conversation. So in the same way that a pitching coach goes out to a pitcher that struggling and they have a talk for like 45 seconds to a minute. So the other reliever could warm up, then the umpire comes out and just break it up. So there's no reason why in that instance they can't have a conversation and then Walt Anderson gets in Jerome's ear and say, pick up the flag room. That is not roughing the passer. And they could say, well, I thought I know what you thought we just looked at it. We'll talk about it later. And then Jerome boger gets on the microphone and says there is no penalty for roughing the pastor. Fourth down. That's it. My bad. It's only cost us a minute. That's it? And they could have done the same thing, by the way, in Cleveland, Sebastian Joseph day. Just gave a little shove to Jacoby Brissette on an incomplete pass in the end zone, that was ruled roughing the passer. He clearly did a little bit of from what I could see, flop, official bought it, 15 yards, and he's like, so we're now taking a little bit of a shove and a Grady Jarrett sack of Brady doing everything right. And you're getting 15 yards thrown these 15 yard penalties are so significant. It's the difference between a team getting off the field or not, or giving an offense new life that it does not deserve. And you see that all the time and helmet to helmet hits that aren't. You see that all the time. There is no reason when there is technology in the 21st century to not use it and I am begging the membership of the NFL or whomever in the competition committee that is saying, we've got to the unintended consequences. Remember what happened with passing interference. I'm not saying that you could challenge it. I'm not saying that Arthur Smith Smith should take a red flag out and say that's not roughing the passer. I'm willing to just take it in moderation. Let the officials in New York who currently have the ability for certain things to tell the officiating crew at the site. Do not do this. You should do that, pick that up, call it that, to include roughing the passer or any 15 yard penalty. Any of them, because they can get in there and say, hey, and that fight, that's so and so through a punch, take that person out. You can do those things. Why not for this? We're infuriated. Fans feel cheated. 8 four four two O four rich number to die. Another thing that infuriates fans. While I'm on a roll, are our head coaches who make decisions based on percentages and playing percentages and whatever may be somebody who's got the percentages and. They get in, they get in the coaches a year and say, go for it, don't go for it. That sort of stuff. And I understand your chances of winning a game by going for it here and kicking a field goal there are different percentages, and then you add those percentages together and it adds up to wins. And I get it. I get it. You know, but what Brandon Stanley who is mister going forward on fourth down a minute different ways last year we saw with the LA chargers, this one was a total head scratcher. I know you want to and your offense needs one yard to win the game. So what would you rather do? Get one yard to win the game or kick the ball away to a team that has no timeouts left and make them go 40, 50 yards. Right? To try and kick a field goal to win the game, or do you run the risk of just giving them the ball on the cusp of field goal range on the spot. And Brandon staley said, go for it. Call the timeout too, took it all the way down to a minute, 14 to go, and I thought you're just going to call time out and punt the ball away and see if this browns offense that was very run heavy and then on occasion Amari Cooper would show up. Put it on Jacoby Brissette to go 40, 50 yards for their young kicker kid, York to try and win the game. And instead they went for it, don't get it. Browns gained ten yards, and then sent cade York out for a 54 yard field goal. Prior to which, Keenan Allen, of the chargers, gave all of us voice to what was happening. Allen, who's out still injured, tweeted out WTF, are we doing? Right at the moment in time. "That. Now I feel like they're going to beat New Orleans. From what we've seen with great then greenback Kansas City may be split those and then you're off. They have an at Pittsburgh game that's not nearly as scary. I think at Carolina and at Cleveland are a little scarier. At Arizona no, but I would say gun to my head, I probably would take bucks to be the one seed right now. Green based second choice, who would you take if you had to pick? I know where one weekend. Tampa, I think. Like I said, I'm willing to get right back on the packers horse. I've usually been packers above me too. I'm very much in a position where it's like, okay, I know this can work. Please show it to me for a couple of weeks. The discombobulation on that offense feels unnecessary. And then defensively it's just stupid stuff. Like if you're gonna run that game plan against Justin Jefferson for four quarters, how am I supposed to trust you in the playoffs, man? It's knucklehead stuff. So with the packers, it's so easy to feel them as a better team as a tier above the rest of the NFC. There's stuff to clean up. And I want to see a cleaned up. I wanted to put the browns in a tease this week. You're a little nervous about their offense. But what did you like and not like about them in week one? I didn't like the fact that they generated no explosives in the passing game, right? You go back and you look through how they got there, scores against Carolina. They obviously had to kick a ton of field goals, cade York, MVPs, they were kicked in long field goals because they were able to inch the ball down the field in the running game. And then when they scored touchdowns, it was on the back of they had a defensive pass interference at the two yard line off of an interception. They had multiple 20 plus yard runs from Nick Chubb and Kareem hunt on their touchdown drive, right? Yeah. There are two most explosive passing games which were of 20 and 19 yards, both screens, right? The way that Kevin Stefanski offense is supposed to work is run, run, run, run, run, shot, run, run shot, run, run, run shot, right? We are gonna pound pound and then eventually, we're gonna get over the top of you. Brissette, Donovan, people's Jones, Anthony Schwartz and Mario Cooper. That grouping there could not find a way to get downfield on a rather aggressive defense that gives you those opportunities. The space was there. They couldn't connect and be set when it triggered. Now you get a jets defense that number one is better against the run. The Jets have a nice front and they have a good run stopping linebacking core. Number two has better man coverage guys than we thought, man. In terms of rookie debuts, it doesn't get written about season of corner, sauce gardener, holy smokes. Toss day mark and just Rashad Bateman played some really, really good football. I think this jets defense is going to be enough to keep this within one possession. I think ugly game, again, I think a low scoring game, I think we choose going to be all unders, which is not fun at all. But 6 and a half to me like if you're giving me the opposing quarterback that's Jacoby Brissette caliber, and I get almost a touchdown. To me, I don't even need to hear much else about the game. That's way too much. Teaser though? Browns to even? I'm thinking about it. So here's my take. I haven't told you this. I think the browns painters, I think both of those teams are good. And sometimes that happens in week one where it's like, oh, wait, when you think back to that brown's Panthers game, 5 weeks ago, those teams were actually better than we thought. The Panthers might be good. Is this Jacoby Brissette browns are good? No, I think he's the weak link, but I think everything else

"Wins it for Cleveland. I do not understand America any news outlet axios or anybody else not leading the news with the browns winning in the last 8 seconds on a 58 yard field goal by a rookie cooker cade York out of LSU, but Josh kross hours here to answer for the axios malpractice. Josh, there's only one story. It's the browns. I watched some of that game, the final few minutes. And look, the browns never have had a good kicker. I don't think they've ever had a kicker that has made a 58 yard field goal. And the fact that it's always a risk to put a draft pick on a kicker. I think it was a fourth rounder out of north rounder. I mean, that's looking like a good pick. That's looking like a good front office. I think analytics are going to realize kickers win. They had Phil Dawson who was gold, like the ravens kicker is now, but it's been 20 years since we had Phil Dawson and we had other Don cock. We had great kickers. Lou groza defines the browns, but not for about 15 years. Okay, Josh crush our I've got new affiliates in Rhode Island new affiliates in Missouri. They don't know you, we do politics, your objective. I look at the Friday polls at RealClearPolitics. Kelly up to Kelly up 6 in Arizona. Hobbs up one in Arizona wholesale only up 15 in New York. That's odd. Vermont, the Republican is crushing it in the governor of race. I mean, just crushing it. And I think the generic congressional ballot with the Republicans up for is the most interesting thing from Rasmussen. What's your take on where the election numbers are going right now? Well, look, I just got back from both Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. Covering both of those big Senate races. New Hampshire is picking up Republican nominee tomorrow, Pennsylvania. It's the big match up between federman and Oz. I would keep a close eye on Pennsylvania. Oz is closing the gap. I mean, the numbers August always provide a whole lot of polls that are a little bit premature a little bit, not reflective of where the rates ultimately will be. And Oz is getting a lot of money from all the traditional Republican groups. I reported in axios today that the Chamber of Commerce is putting $3 million in to SLS to the Senate leadership fund to help Doctor Oz's campaign. Republicans are now actually pretty united in Pennsylvania and fetterman still is struggling. I'm not doing a whole lot of campaign events and not accepting a debate quite yet. Which is, I mean, it's taken a toll. I think on a campaign. So if Pennsylvania is one of those bellwether state, the way Pennsylvania goes, I think it's going to be very reflective of where this Senate majority goes. And I think that one's going to be a whole lot closer than people thought a few weeks ago. And I actually think Herschel's going to win in a walk. And this is you are talking not a poll. I do think he's going to win in a walk that people don't talk to pollsters in Georgia. They love Herschel. They've done them for 35, 40 years. He's a very nice guy. Wernicke and debate him in Savannah. We're not elsewhere. They're not going to have a debate. It's just going to be Republican Democrats straight up. And then Karl rove was on last week. He thinks Adam laxalt is the best bet to take a seat away. And then we have got, you know, we still got Arizona, which is mattress within a couple, and you got Maggie Hassan, who will win at bulldog is nominated, but she could face a very difficult uphill race if chuck Moore wins tomorrow, Josh. Yeah, I mean, that's the story in New Hampshire. Whoever Republicans nominate is going to dictate the trajectory of that race. I actually spent some time with this on bulldog who general he was doing a town hall. He's got a lot of these town halls in New Hampshire. We talked about a military man, he got a bark about his anger at what's going on in Washington, but his, you know, his view when you actually press him on some of his views. They're going to be fodder for Democrats to really capitalize on. One specific example. He doesn't think that we should be involved in Ukraine when I ask him. He said that in this town hall, I pressed him on it after this event he did, and he was adamant that we shouldn't be continuing any engagement until and in Ukraine and helping the Ukrainians until we have a better, more specific plan, he said. And that was given everything that's been going on in Ukraine over the last few days. So that's one example on an issue where if he's a nominee, I think he might not be ready for prime time. Oh, he will lose. He won't lose. I'm not going to spend a minute on that race and I cover New Hampshire. He will lose. If he is in that race, I cover it every day. Right. But that is a seat that would be thrown away because if you have a more mainstream Republican like chuck Morris, that's a toss up. That's a very competitive race. So that is what Republicans have been worried about all cycle. If not the environment as much as it is the candidate, Arizona, I still think masters has a lot of challenges in that purple state like that. New Hampshire, we just talked about. But I do think Pennsylvania is going to be looking a little bit more favorable for them Wisconsin is looking a lot better for Republicans. And so the path in Nevada, you mentioned Nevada..

That one was at home. It's their first away opening win since 1994. So the browns haven't been wanting us since 2004, and they haven't been wanting to know beginning away since 1994. I mean, Boston is the heartbeat, but let's consider this sort of like the what are appropriate internal organs to describe the Rhode Island audience as to the Patriots audience. If they're the heart, then the soul is in Rhode Island, because they just have always been the most annoying of all Boston sports fans. And I love you when socket and I appreciate 1380 a.m. 99.9 FM, W and RI having me on. But I should tell you that Mike's aware day if you're listening, that's good friend of mine from college days long away who was the New England pats fan back then. I do not like the Red Sox and I do not like the Patriots and I do not like the Celtics because they have always beaten the heck. Gary and this one, they were the Indians. Beat the Red Sox a couple of postseason series that were important. American League championship series as I recall. They have lost the Celtics and some amazing series like the 1976 semifinals in NBA at the garden, which my brother and I were at and were caught at by the plain dealer, mom and dad didn't know that that's how we were spending our beer money. "Run on wide receivers Yeah Hotcakes right Wide receivers in alignment Right Big old hand in hand 'cause they both have sweet feet Best feet on the football field Right Got to be a guy to get you a dancing bear and you got to get you a receiver that can get in and out of breaks Great hands offensive lineman gotta get your hand gotta have long arms gotta get your hands on a defensive end You gotta go up and get those 50 50 balls as a receiver Right They're parallels there My best friend in college was a receiver You know we speak the same language Any team I was on I love to receivers Right Jimmy Smith Andre Johnson rod Smith These are my guys And Green Bay decides it wasn't worth it I guess Yeah I don't get it man I really don't And that's the thing You could go back in the hot tub time machine and say well devonte Adams was a second round pick Jordy Nelson second rounder This guy this guy that guy back out First round Those are outliers And also you have to look at it where some of those guys don't hit the ground running Devonta Adams didn't hit the ground running as great of a receiver as he is And that's the thing when Aaron Rodgers has only a few more years of elite production left Do you have three ready to go Yeah He's not 29 and growing with a second or a third round receiver Like he's toward the end he's closer to the end than the middle portion of his career right now It's a different time for him He's pushing 40 now I don't get what they're doing man But I do get what this man is doing He is not only spreading kindness and joy and utter blissful satisfaction He is providing information I totally appreciate the approach and how could I say just sheer presence of this man He is a friend of America He is the one and only mister Steve de sager Thank you very much and good evening gentlemen and boy do we have a lot of football news tonight The NFL Draft is officially done the 7 rounds are in the books rounds four through 7 we're in Las Vegas today So the Georgia bulldogs had 15 players selected in this year's draft That is the most all time by any school through 7 rounds Among the round four selections today Houston Texans took a running back from Florida Damien pierce university of Cincinnati corner Kobe Bryant to the Seattle Seahawks Las Vegas took running back from Georgia's emir white chargers in the fourth round took running back from Texas a and M Isaiah spiller and then a kicker was taken in round four from LSU cade York to the Cleveland Browns browns made a trade with the LA rams rams reacquire defensive back Troy hill in a trade for a 5th rounder next year Cleveland just drafted a corner this weekend Among those oh by the way mister irrelevant the last pick of the last round today was Iowa state quarterback Brock purdy to San Francisco And now that the draft is over you see some lists of those who were not taken among the quarterbacks not selected Nevada's Carson strong Notre-Dame's Jack Cohn from Wisconsin as well NFL network reporting that the Chargers are signing quarterback from Illinois Brandon Peters and the Raiders are signing quarterback from Cal chase garbers Also Seattle is signing quarterback from Louisiana Levi Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens are signing Oregon quarterback Anthony Brown and two notable signings already for free agent running bags the jets getting North Carolina state's bam knight and the Giants getting running back from Oklahoma Jeremiah hill So a lot going on the NFL Draft is in the books And the USFL has two games on Fox TV The one is just ended with a late field goal Tampa Bay bandits 27 26 over the Houston gamblers a gambler's quarterback Clayton thorson from northwestern did have 240 yards passing two touchdowns one interception the late game New Orleans at Birmingham on Fox The NBA playoff second round starts tomorrow with Boston's game one at home against Milwaukee the Celtics Jalen Brown plans to play despite an injured hamstring Hall of Fame women's coach Vivian stringer retired after 50 years and over a thousand college victories her teams made four final four appearances The NHL's regular season ended for most teams last night There is one makeup game tomorrow Seattle at Winnipeg and then the Stanley Cup playoffs start on Monday night with four series openers the other four start on Tuesday night NASCAR's on FS1 Sunday from Dover 3 p.m. Eastern Time Chris bush or earned the poll Josh berry won today's Xfinity race John rom leads the Mexico open by two strokes after a third round 68 And in Major League Baseball the game on FS1 went to a rain delay at the White Sox so it is continuing on FS two right now White Sox four zero over the angels in the top of the 8th inning tonight's FS1 ball game has the best team in baseball The mets at 15 and 6 underway and scoreless in the second against the Philadelphia Phillies Metz pitched a combined no hitter last night among the finals today Arizona shut out the Cardinals to nothing in St. Louis cards with no runs two hits two errors ruining a great start for miles Mike list who pitched into the 8th inning with 7 strikeouts and no walks Blue Jays won again two one over Houston and the Cleveland guardians still getting used to the name were three to one winners at Oakland back to you Thanks Steve Brian know Andy from salon with you here on Fox Sports radio I was gonna make a joke that the Cardinals they're not the best team in baseball And as Steve pointed out they got shut out by the Diamondbacks today big man so that's Well he answered your own question Joke doesn't even land right now Does it land Does not land Steve was talking about NBA playoff injuries right Jalen Brown with the Celtics A little iffy with the injury How about Joel embiid Man that's crazy I want to talk about a series killer Wow so the story with Joel embiid Who has had a special season He's the first center since Shaq in 99 2000 to lead the league in scoring and beat had over 30 points per game during the regular season Well he's out indefinitely He's got a fractured orbital bone and a mild concussion He's got to sit out at least 5 days with those concussion symptoms There's no timetable for his return He got elbowed accidentally in the final four minutes They're just under four minutes to go in a closeout game against the raptors The sixers were leading by 29 points with under four minutes to go Siakam is driving to the bucket accidentally elbows embiid in the face He's out indefinitely now That's terrible coaching move Horrible Terrible coaching Like what would possess you with three minutes and 47 seconds left in the game Even at the 5 minute mark Yeah You're up by that much It's time to sit these guys down Got a long long long long way to go Long way to go It's time to sit them down Yeah Doc was like crazier things have happened in the NBA I don't know what he's thinking Absolutely it is very He had the thumb injury too If he's not available for the entirety of this series and they lose Doc Rivers will be fired Listen to this stat too Again sixers were up by 29 points with under four minutes to play So the stat is over the past 25 seasons including the playoffs Teams that had a 25 plus point lead in the final 5 minutes so at least up by 25 with 5 to play The sixers had a bigger lead by the way But for all the teams the last quarter century that had a 25 point lead with 5 minutes to go their record is 3000 969 and oh no Team has blown a lead that big with 5 minutes to play So it basically means there's no reason whatsoever to happen You don't have enough positions or time Yeah.
