Now The Rain diminishes tomorrow in the afternoon to showers. It's going to be a chilly Monday, only upper 40s for the high. Then as the storm system cranks up off the coast and intensifies the winds will really whip up for Tuesday. Temperatures Tuesday in the upper 40s, winds will be northwest 20 to 30 miles an hour with gusts of 40 plus, so wind chills will be in the 20s and 30s a very nasty day on Tuesday with those winds despite sunshine. In Maryland, we still have the issues on the Clara Barton Parkway and no clarity to go along with it, I'm sad to say, in boundaries, had been, I believe, diverted at the ramp for cabin John that would take you up to Macarthur boulevard to work your way around the crash activity. I believe we have some outbound traffic getting through at least according to some of the map data. Of course, there's not a camera anywhere near this place. But again, inbound Clara Barton Parkway believed diverting at the ranford cabin John near Macarthur boulevard. And the rest of the Maryland roadways fairly good. We did have the crash activity fits the eastbound before bay Dale drive on the right side, unclear what if anything remains there. New one being talked about is going to be in the prince George's county. It's going to be northbound one 97, just as you leave the Baltimore Washington Parkway near Muir Kirk road with caution for the reported crash on the bay bridge. We still have wind restrictions in effect, no high profile vehicles till the wind simmer down. The emergency work zone near brook mod is clear and the medical emergency at the union arch bridge is clear. Police are still on both shoulders on both sides of the bridge, but the one lane bridge is open. The cabin John Parkway below the aqueduct bridge is only open to outbound traffic heading to the beltway from the Clara Barton Parkway, the ramps to the cabin John Parkway at four 95, still blocked On the beltway in Maryland and Virginia, rush hour wears on in a few spots like the interloop at a McLean across the American legion bridge. And from Connecticut avenue, eastbound through Silver Spring, there's a minor crash on the outer loop after kennel worth avenue. That was quickly moved out of the way. Two 70 northbound still heavy and spots through Rockville and Gaithersburg, Baltimore, Washington park, with some congestion near the beltway, but not a big deal. 50 between the beltway and the bay bridge, no delays, road spray. Otherwise in Virginia, routine volume delays in the beltway 66 and 95 south toward the aka Kwan rode one, southbound, near south lord and park should be open now. Police activity clearing Maryland volume delays two 70 north bound through much of Montgomery county and up and down the Baltimore Washington Parkway. Italy above the beltway near route four Pennsylvania avenue some tree branches along the far right side. Those drivers aren't able to get from the Clara Barton onto the cabin John Parkway at her squeezing instead onto the Macarthur boulevard access road near cabin John nearby. The workaround is leading to congestion on other routes like Massachusetts avenue Goldsboro road and river road near the beltway. And in addition to this police activity, there is also a separate unrelated closure of Macarthur boulevard between while haunting wrote and Maryland avenue for emergency utility work. On the beltway, interloop slow through Montgomery county, just volume delays, and better in prince George's county still slow in a lot of places between college park and Andrews, the crash on the Italy, to read a drive, is now back on the left shoulder. And brandywine caller finding one broken down northbound on three O one before the branch avenue split in the center. Now in the district, it is very slow going northbound on D.C. two 95 from the southeast Southwest freeway into northeast, the car fire extinguished near Ben Rhode, but the right side remains blocked. Heaviest stretches through Montgomery county are on the outer loop from the two 70 spurs at the cabin John Parkway, then the pace gets a little better toward the legion bridge, antelope slows from route three 55 to Connecticut avenue, and the outer loop through Silver Spring slows, and with some slowdowns on both loops, off and on through press George's county, landover, the heaviest stretch there, is between two O two and two 14. Heavy stretch on the Virginia side is still the in loop heavy and steady at times through Tyson's toward maclean and the legion bridge, and that's what's causing the slowdowns northbound on the GW Parkway from turkey run to the beltway. And the outer loop is slow through Alexandria, below speed toward the Wilson bridge. I two 70 look for some slowdowns headed north between routes to one 21 and one O 9. I 95 north slows with slowdowns in stretches north from the ICC toward route 32 we had one broken down that could be on the right shoulder by now. So on the southbound side from route 100 toward route 32, BW Parkway, we had a crash last hour in four ten that was moved to the right side, laser still heavy into Riverdale and still very slow on the southbound side of the BW Parkway through fort me. Route 50 still very quiet at the moment. Good both ways across the bay bridge three lanes west two lengths east across the bay. Over to Virginia 66 most of your volume is headed west through Citadel after route 28, three 95 just volume along the southbound side between The Pentagon and king street, I 95 just following south through lordon, woodbridge through garrisonville, and not that bad on the northbound side with volume through spotsylvania and Fredericksburg. There have been some earlier activity not seen in the camera anymore, but it was safely on the right shoulder. You'll find eastbound Washington boulevard had been blocked at third street north. There was an overnight crash utility crews are dealing with the down pole and wires. One V dot truck was on the left shoulder 95 northbound, down your 6 ten garrisonville road literally, just watch them drive away. No other delay on 95, headed in the northbound direction out of woodbridge into Springfield, going north on to three 95 all the way to the 14th should find nothing in your way. Trouble out of hillsborough, westbound on route 9, your Harper's ferry road would have a broken down vehicle. Marilyn bell weighs fine, little heavy, again, river road, riding on the outer loop, into Virginia, but otherwise through Montgomery and prince George's counties, no late slowdowns. You will find we'd had trouble in the district, suitland Parkway out in your naylor road and reported crash. Both incidents on the freeway going north in the third street tunnel and the eastbound approach approaching the ram to go into the third street tunnel have now cleared and our delays have eased back. You'll find the investigation ongoing, north capital street is blocked southbound between H and G streets. Westbound 66 near nearly street that right lane is blocked for the work zone and 95 southbound near one 23 we had the left lane block for a broken down vehicle northbound I 95 off and on the brakes in separate stretches between triangle and the fairfax county parkways continued toward the Springfield interchange and no problems when I three 95 except the volume going up to and across the 14th street bridge. If you're in the district, Wisconsin avenue southbound, south of woodley road, has a single lane getting you by the crane work there also keep in mind Georgia avenue partially going to be closed right now between Florida avenue and Columbia road for Howard University homecoming the parade starts at some point in time this morning to keep that in mind. I do not want to understate how bad the traffic is in this part of the region on the interstate system right now. It is really, really bad. And you don't want to commit northbound to four 95 or two 70 right now. You're going to regret it. In addition to the police activity, there is a closure of river road between little falls Parkway and brookside drive for the investigation into a cyclist that was struck. Northbound George Washington Parkway backed up to one 23 Georgetown pike backed up on both sides of the beltway one 23 south much lower than usual through mcclain. Northbound Baltimore Washington Parkway after one 98, one broken down on the left. Heavy on the eastern side of the beltway through prince George's county, you can manage the volume delays if you consider what folks are going through right now on the ITER loop in Montgomery county. In western fairfax county on I 66, westbound traffic is heavy through centerville broken down trash truck near 29, stalled in the right center lane. In the district from I two 95 south, there's no access to suitland Parkway suitland Parkway is closed between south capitol street and firth Sterling avenue for emergency utility work. Meanwhile, on the outer loop, after I 66, they're towing a less serious crash out of the left lane, but it's still blocked on the outer loop. And the ramp from 66 east to go south in the outer loop, the crash has just cleared the right lane is open along with the left ramp lane. "The outer loop, Maryland side from after old Georgetown road to at least the cabin John Parkway, and we believe that's the sun glare related.
