Takeaways from Congress’ first Washington DC hearing on Capitol riot

"What went wrong looking into the security lapses. That happened before the Capitol riot last month with us to talk about the latest on these hearings on Capitol Hill is CNN, Washington correspondent Ryan Nobles. He joins us on Skype. So Ryan, these investigations are really just beginning. But have we learned anything so far? What the takeaways from day one. Yesterday's hearing was pretty explosive on many levels. Nick you heard from many of these officials from the various law enforcement agencies, some who have been forced out of their jobs. About what went wrong on that day. And what was perhaps the most shocking was that there was intelligence on the table that some of these agencies, the FBI and other agencies had taken in a lot of social media chatter from people that had said that they were specifically Coming to Washington with the goal of storming or causing chaos at the Capitol, and that information never made its way down to Capitol police sergeant in arms on other various law enforcement agencies, the Washington metro, much Politan Police department and they were never able to use that information to help prepare and as a result, they you know, the these leaders just were not prepared for the overwhelming crush of people that descended on the Capitol that day. On and you basically what lawmakers came to the conclusion that there needs to be a better flow of information to the folks that are gonna be making decisions about how to protect the capital in the future. There was some finger pointing that occurred yesterday, too, and that's getting a lot of attention. Yeah, That's right. You know, you had Capitol police saying something different What this Senate sergeant at arms, said Metropolitan Police seem to have a different perception is to have that information flow came down. And then one of the big things Joan that no one seemed to be able to agree on is when the National Guard was called in for reinforcement in and why it took so long for the National Guard to actually make it to the capital. To help protect the members of Congress and people that were at the Capitol. And then why the National Guard wasn't there even ahead of all of this s O. You know, this is just the beginning of this process. You know, this is one hearing, they said today or yesterday should say that there's gonna be another hearing that will involve the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security. And then, of course, Speaker Pelosi is in the process of drafting legislation that would form a 9 11 style commission to look into all of this. It's gonna be a long time before you know all the information comes out as to what exactly went wrong in January Sex. Okay,

"Breezy. Plenty of sunshine Tomorrow temperatures tomorrow, back in the sixties. I'm certainly inform meteorologists warn rickets right now. 69 degrees in Springfield, 68. Aspen Hill in 70 of DuPont Circle. 7 11 here, w t. O P. And it's the Super Bowl of politics. Former Vice President Joe Biden. And President Trump. We're debating tonight for the first time in what could be the most watched political debate ever. CNN Washington correspondent Ryan Nobles is in Cleveland this morning, and he's joining us live on Skype. Ryan, this is going to be like any debate. Unlike any debate ever, even the stage is going to be set a little differently for tonight. Yeah, That's right. I mean, just like everything happening right now, Joan, The Corona virus pandemic has just changed the way that this debate is going to be held. It's gonna be a very small audience. The audience is going to be socially distant. The two candidates are not going to shake hands when they come out. They're two podiums will be more than 6 ft. Apart in the moderator will be 6 ft. Apart from everyone as well on DSO, you know, in addition to the optics of how the Corona virus is impacting this, it's also of course, the biggest story. Impacting the United States, so you can bet it's one of the questions that comes up early and often throughout the course of the entire debate. So what are you two these candidates have to do to have a good night tonight? Well, you know, Bruce, we talked about this a lot. But, you know, so much of the the American public has already really made up their mind about this election. I wonder just how much even a debate can change that. But you know, debates are so much about expectations, setting And what is interesting is that the Trump campaign is actually set the bar very low for Joe Biden, which is not normally how these things work. You know, the president has gone around the country. Describing Vice President Joe Biden. This sleepy, Jolie suggested that the only way that he can perform well tonight is if he's on Performance enhancing drugs, which is obviously not the case s O. You know, for in many respects for the Biden campaign, they just need to get through it without any kind of huge major gaffe. The president is the one who I think you know, we've pulled showing him behind in a lot of the swing states and, of course behind nationally who needs to score kind of a knockout punch. So that's why I expect him to really go after Joe Biden in a big way. Expect the president to be on the attack tonight. And we will all be watching Ryan. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Ryan Nobles there in Cleveland, CNN Washington correspondent. Thanks. It is 7 14 now. Hi. It's Rita Kessler. Ladies. Biden's lead over Trump is the steadiest on record

"Day Day in in the the rear rear view view mirror. mirror. Now Now the the presidential presidential campaign campaign will will be be heating heating up up for for sure sure we we go go deeper deeper now. now. With With CNN, CNN, Washington Washington correspondent correspondent Ryan Ryan Nobles Nobles joining joining us us from from the the White White House House this morning on Skype. Ryan Poles have been fairly consistent over the past few months. Joe Biden holding about a 10 point lead over Donald Trump nationally. How's the Trump campaign hoping to close that captain? How's the Biden campaign, hoping to hold him off? Yeah, well, first things Bruce, the Trump campaign would refute public polling. They would tell you that the race is a lot closer than what the public polling is telling us much like we saw in 2016. But what you see from the Trump campaign right now is a coordinated effort. To try and really take advantage of the violence and unrest that we're seeing in some American cities As the result of these protests that took place because of shootings by police with unarmed African Americans and You know, the Trump campaign sees this as a wedge issue for them, particularly in some of these key swing states where they won four years ago where Republicans don't traditionally when that's in the upper Midwest places like Michigan and Wisconsin, and they're going to continue to beat that drum. On the other side of the coin. You see the Biden campaign slowly starting to actually get back to physical campaigning. Joe Biden travelling a lot more than he was during the summer because of the Corona virus pandemic and for the Biden campaign. It's just about not screwing things up. They feel like they've got a comfortable lead their head in the places they need to be ahead off. So it's really about the Trump campaign, putting the pressure on them and Biden trying to resist making a big mistake and interesting that potential Corona virus vaccine that so many people have been hoping for, has now become a point of contention in the campaign. It's kind of a weird thing, right, Bruce? I mean, everybody's been begging and hoping that Ah, vaccine would come sooner rather than later. But now that the Trump administration has seemed to indicate that they're going to attempt to push the vaccine, maybe even before Election Day that has Democrats raising questions as to whether or not they're doing it safely and you even saw you know, Vice President Biden and and Kamala Harris was running mate split on whether or not they would take a vaccine if it were rushed to market before the election. Certainly raising some questions, and the other part of this, too, is that it You know, there's a lot of the Trump base a lot of Trump supporters that are skeptical about vaccines in general. So the idea that they would be you know, anxious to take a vaccine like this that comes on the market so soon is really an interesting dynamic in this entire race, and you're headed to North Carolina tonight. That's right. The president, I got a very busy campaign schedule. He's gonna be in to swing states today is gonna spend the morning in Jupiter, Florida and then had to Winston Salem, North Carolina tonight. Later in the week, he'll be in Pennsylvania this weekend heading to the West Coast going to make a stop in Nevada. The president is in full campaign mode right now, and I could tell you I've covered about a half a dozen of these rallies. They're taking very few, if any. Corona virus precautions. Very few masks, People shoulder to shoulder. The president's basically put the pandemic in the rear view mirror and is focusing completely on, you know, firing his campaign up just like it was in March. All right, Ryan, thanks Appreciate the update, CNN, Washington correspondent Ryan Nobles joining us on Skype this morning.

Trump says Kenosha trip could increase 'enthusiasm' amid concerns it will stir tensions

"President Trump is off to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Today we got a preview from CBS News. White House correspondent Stephen Portnoy. President Trump says he doesn't believe his trip to Kenosha will increase. It also increased enthusiasm. And it could increase love and respect for our country. Mr. Trump, who says he'll meet with law enforcement, but not the family of Jacob Blake offered a defensive Kyle Riton house, the 17 year old accused of killing two men in Kenosha with a semiautomatic rifle. I guess he was in very big trouble he would have been, I probably would have been killed, but it's under its under investigation. Meantime, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden blames the president for rioting, saying he's stoking violence in our cities. CNN. Washington correspondent Ryan Nobles told us this morning that while Biden's response is a part of his campaign strategy, it also serves as a reminder of how the president has responded to the protests and the point that Joe Biden made yesterday's and all these problems are happening under Presidents Watch in, while President Trump is trying to create this dystopian gloom and doom picture of what could happen If Joe Biden were elected, Biden is reminding voters that President Trump is currently the president, and that's what's happening right now. So Biden tryingto make sure that he is clear that he's on the side of the social justice protesters. But he also agrees that the violence is a bridge too far and that there needs to be some sort of calm brought too many of these cities. Biden condemned the violence, saying rioting and looting is not protest Ng it's lawlessness.

"The coronavirus course but they're still a presidential campaign being waged we go deeper now with CNN Washington correspondent Ryan nobles joining us live on Skype right in the trump campaign has rolled out a new ad ahead of that fox news town hall Sunday night highlighting the president's handling of the pandemic yeah Bruce and I think it kind of a look back to what you were talking about before about how corona viruses dominating the headlines that it's become increasingly clear that the president's reelection hopes that in many ways our pin back to how do you respond to this virus in the public's perception of his handling of the virus and that's why you saw this first data big sweeping ad of that day details with his administration believes are the highlights of his response it even has a you know a democratic governors praising the work the president trump is done on the corona virus now I doesn't necessarily tell the whole story but campaign ads rarely do but I think it shows gives us some insight to exactly where the trip trump campaign is narrowing its focus right now it realizes that the public perception of the president's handling of this crisis is going to go a long way to determining whether or not Americans are going to vote for him in November what about Biden campaign anything going on there on the course defended himself against the terror read allegations Friday and over the weekend but what about the actual campaign yeah I mean that that's been a difficult situation for us former vice president Biden because he can't go anywhere he is basically spend all this time at his home doing interviews I'm from a studio that they have set up in his basement is your mentions and force I could be back some of these claims of sexual harassment from a former staffer you know where you see the Biden campaign finding some areas of discussions in the economy you know and and in particular vulnerable people that have been left behind behind because of this crisis you know the economy was president trump's biggest feather in his cap the fact that the economy has collapsed in many ways because of the corona virus I estimate the Biden campaign is hoping to use it and say that the president's management of this crisis is one of the reasons are that decides the situation is the way it is so you don't really have many ways to bridge this campaign is really just become a referendum on president trump's first term and what you see the Biden campaign doing is just getting out of the way a long Americans to make up that decision for themselves and like so many other things the campaign is so affected by the pandemic thank you Ryan appreciated very much CNN Washington correspondent Ryan nobles joining us live on Skype this morning seven thirteen.

"Prize for the democratic presidential hopefuls but before the primary Saturday nearly every candidate is on the debate stage tonight we go deeper now is CNN Washington correspondent Ryan nobles who joins us now from Charleston South Carolina and Ryan good morning to you last week it was Michael Bloomberg who took the incoming fire from the other candidates this time it's probably going to be Bernie Sanders Johnny it almost felt like it better be offended these democratic candidates have any hope of stopping Bernie Sanders and the momentum he has right now I don't think there's any doubt that Sanders has now established himself as the clear front runner in the democratic primary is winning the battle was convincing it was also impressive because it came from such a broad coalition of voters from different backgrounds a South Carolina of course a state that that is very diverse the democratic primary here is it up of the majority of African American voters this is an area where Sanders just on much better but it also represents a last stand for former vice president Joe Biden so if these democratic candidates who really trained all their fire on Michael Bloomberg last time around if they don't do something to try and stop Bernie Sanders momentum super Tuesday just a couple of days away like you may build a lead that is just insurmountable forgive these democratic candidates to break into right I mean that's the thing is not only the the lead up to South Carolina but the debate will be happening tonight with super Tuesday on everybody's mind yeah it's a such a great point a bruising and you see the candidates spend time not just in South Carolina this week but in a lot of the super Tuesday states my travel this week is going to be a bit now has gone up and down the east coast hitting all the super Tuesday states of course Virginia are one of those states on Tuesday that's kind of both of these democratic candidates really are making a pitch not just the voters in South Carolina but all the states that are going to vote on March third and you know there are some big prizes on March there you talk about California Texas Massachusetts and of course that we talked about purging itself you know Bernie Sanders is polling well in a lot of these states if he wins it you know especially safe just thank god for your taxes that may give him a delegate advantage it's going to be difficult for any of these Democrats can't it's a top also this is the last time that they're going to have the opportunity to make these distinctions on such a big stage so that's why you have to imagine that they're going to go after standards will be an interesting watch tonight thank you Ryan CNN Washington correspondent Ryan nobles seven fourteen now Hey it's Rita Kessler ladies.

"Donald Trump had the white house in their sights. To New Yorkers. Were actually quite complimentary of each other publicly Brian. Todd has the story of why they're falling out predates either either run for the presidency. Look he's a lightweight. The way they talk about each other now you'd think they've been enemies for life. I am not afraid of Donald Trump but back in New York back in the day a different dynamic and I have to say you have been a great American. You really have is. That was in October. Two thousand thirteen then. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Donald Trump lavish praise on each other after trump helped Bloomberg convert a trash dump in the Bronx into a high end golf. Course but if there's anybody that exchange this city it is donald trump really has an amazing thing and this is another part of it Donald. Thank you for your analysts. Say That partnership actually could have been the genesis of their falling out because in two thousand sixteen interview with Wolf. Blitzer trump took all the credit for the project. I took over got knocked up in one year and now it's a tremendous success. Michael asked me if I'd get involved in it. Luke thought that was an exaggeration. His former aides thought that was an exaggeration and sort of split between them. But before then Donald Trump and Michael Bloomberg appeared to get along or at least found each other useful trump back Bloomberg's effort to run for third term. As New York's mayor they golf together. Bloomberg appeared on trump's NBC show. The apprentice and their daughters appeared in an HBO documentary called born rich but analysts say in the real world of New York business and philanthropy in that world it was Bloomberg who was the star was trump who was the one who is always looking for acceptance and rarely getting it during all of his life. Donald Trump has longed for the approval of the New York establishment. Mike Bloomberg was the New York establishment. Now the two are being compared and contrasted under a microscope both switched political parties repeatedly and were unexpected winners in their biggest elections and both became billionaires although on the Forbes list of the wealthiest Americans at the end of last year Michael Bloomberg ranked eighth with fifty three point four billion dollars while trump two hundred seventy fifth with three point one billion. They both name their businesses after themselves. They're both very wealthy people but Bloomberg came from a more working class background. Donald Trump of course herod a lot of money from his father to run. Ryan his business going forward. How nasty and personal wilder battle becomes or I think in head to head battle Mike Bloomberg and Donald Trump will be nastier than anything we've seen in politics. Perhaps in one hundred years it'll these these are people who are not afraid to fight and they're not afraid to fight in a very personal way analysts say one reason. Donald Trump fears Michael Bloomberg that he realizes that Bloomberg has the resources millions of dollars that Bloomberg can spend on ads. Highly produced adds that he can use to keep attacking trump in the most personal of ways. Brian Todd CNN Washington. Just ahead. "Voice of reason in the bay area for forty three years now Ron Owens today. We're joined by David Drucker, David, of course, CNN Washington Examiner and Vanity Fair political analyst has a lot to put on a business card. But anyway, David with that in mind, let's talk about the obvious today is day thirty two of the shutdown. How long is this going to keep going on? While the issue. Inside feel political pressure. Change their position until that happens. Nobody's going to go. Every shutdown. That's heated this one long time. And it was about the issue as far it's just about not caving losing words matter of egos, really at this point, it seems that way. Yes. One hundred percent, correct. That's what always happens with every shutdown that ever happens. Turned into an ego. Contest. Resolving the issue at hand. Well, would you say there's no chance. There's just very little chance. Again, the political conditions change in both parties are compelled to compromise David a group of House Democrats are drafting a letter to speaker Pelosi, and they're asking her to agree to hold a vote on Trump's wall after the government's reopened. That's supposedly news, but didn't Lindsey Graham off of the same thing. And the president said now. A lot of Republicans and Democrats mostly Democrats said some key with all the said, let's reopen the government for a short period of time. Definitely create the space for negotiating ransom wall. Trump wants money for the president believes that that would be a cave in the president believes if he did that he would use miliver T needs to force Democrats to him the money for the wall specifics. So here we are here we are. But who at this point has the advantage of think at the moment. Democrats have the advantage. I think all the data and the polling shows because from has taken ownership of the shutdown because voters and never liked to shut down as a tactic to achieve policy. Even if they agree with that policy. He's the one behind the all. The Democrats need to be more willing to move off position and compromise with the president even if they believe that he should not have shut the government down to achieve his ends. But for now, I think Democrats. The upper hand if Mada doors. Let's talk for a moment if we can about the state of the union speech, which may or may not come a week from tomorrow. What's going to happen? If the government is not real. Pretty definitive and saying that it needed to be delayed until the. And if she were to move off in that position, you look the president to take advantage of it sort of dance all over third change of heart. Blame him if he did. So so I I think we're gonna end up with the president delivering some state of the union in some form in some other venues than the chamber of representatives. Well, one thing I heard was the Senate. But I mean, the Senate wasn't big enough to hold everybody isn't no. But Democrats probably wouldn't have had the state of the union is something that President Trump is really absolutely set on delivering because he loves being on prime time. And all of that is he going to be able to somehow be able to deliver the speech venue. That would in fact, please everybody or is it impossible. Neither way to please everybody. I also don't know exactly what he does the same sort of attention of the nation television network. Minute. You're not doing this in the house war way to save the union addresses are typically done all of a sudden it's much more of a. Now Louis just gave the president. Primetime. Weeks ago? Not really sure how this is treated the same. Then you also wonder if the president does speech, he's not a party. Congress with all the frills that go along with the state of the union address, all of the guests Michiel Matt hero all of the wondering if it's more of a rally speech is going to have to wait and see what the side. We're talking with David Drucker political analyst CNN Washington Examiner questioned the president gave his speech over the weekend. I happened to catch the whole stage and interesting it's the second one he's given in a week. And yet he hasn't given any before throughout his presidency, and it was a big disagreement as to whether the network should be covering it. Or not based on the fact that they didn't give Obama the same opportunity during his tenure is that just kind of died down as an issue or is there some substance. Well, look, I think there is a point. If you start to look the other way because they don't feel compelled to be political. President Obama early in his tenure. Speech in congress on healthcare is the second from the state of the union address that got a lot of suburbs. And it's on he was in his second term had asked what time to discuss I think within actually networks, basically just said, no he's done this before we don't need to do it again in the president's favor is it's early in his term. He haven't used up all the state. So the city we're not going to say, well, gee, we've been doing this for you for X number of years and the other hand it just happened a couple of weeks ago, and they don't have to get an airtime usually Oval Office addresses, any special addresses have to do with matters that are not political and the issue with the government and dispute over the government shutdown is almost entirely political. He was president. You don't agree with the president of the Democrats? You know, it's a political disagreement not a sort of above the fray matter of national security. There was an attack to the war going into battle something like that. So I I just don't think. Do it. Again. He gets cable news coverage unsure if he delivered some sort of speech, that's what they're in business to do. What do you get all the networks for one player? File question involves the TSA right now. The absence rate is over ten percent, would I haven't read is the possibility. I'm just trying to think this ad logically. If more and more people who are part of the TSA call in say, eventually nobody's going to be able to get screened at all. And would that bring transportation to a halt? Well, that's one of the things that could. Totally break. Nobody cares. The worst. Voters get really interested, and they want this thing to add insane as if we tax refund checks. A lot more saints aren't available. But so far the president. He's doing everything he can to soften the the shutdown and as long as TSA agents to go to work without getting paid. You're gonna have crisis are slew today, and it's tougher going through TSA, but still a under showing up for work. It wasn't mental sudden pressure builds and David Drucker, it's always a pleasure to talk with you. Thanks for giving us the time..

"So a quick review. The life of President Donald Trump twenty eighteen. In January a year into his presidency. President Trump tweeted something that offended someone early in the morning. MSNBC CNN all of the legacy mainstream media networks, the Washington Post and the New York Times reported that it could be the end for President Trump. They printed stories that they found out. They couldn't corroborate and later had to retract and when president called it fake news. See there he goes again, attacking though, the press in the first amendment freedom of the press that was January. Oh, yeah. And there was some Democrats calling for the impeachment of President Trump. Oh, and the Robert Mueller investigation launched into a second year. Still not coming up with any kind of collusion story with the Russians which was what that was all about. February President Trump tweeted something early in the morning did offended someone and all of the mainstream media networks, we all know who they are the MSNBC CNN Washington Post, New York Times ABC NBC CBS all printed or reported stories that weren't quite right. And they had to take many of them back on some Democrats called for impeachment of the president and Robert Mueller investigation. Languished on into another month March twentieth. "Never forget the visit made to Lockerbie where I saw the small wooden warehouse in which were stored the various effects of your loved ones some here in DC argue, maybe Muller is the only person who could conduct this investigation precisely because he is not overtly partisan. He does not try to grab. Headlines and he lets his work do the talking and so far it's saying plenty Tom foreman. CNN Washington, Tom. Thank you so much out front with me. Now, Harry's Zantac and former assistant US attorney for the southern district of New York and John dean Nixon White House counsel. Great to see you guys. John. It is somewhat remarkable. How little everyone has seen or heard from Muller in this day and age in Washington when this investigation eventually ends, do you think we're going to hear much for more anymore than we're hearing from him? Now, it's likely we'll hear from him. If his report is at all contested. And the congress calls on him to explain some of the material in the report, that's the most likely way. I don't think he will have a press conference. He is among the true workhorses rather than show horses of Washington. So I think he'll let the document speak for itself. But there are issues the congress may well want to get into. Adopt surprised one bit, Harry, if you look at twenty eighteen it wrapped up with indictments guilty pleas jail time for many people around Donald Trump. What are you looking or watching for in two thousand nineteen are there any home signals or they signals that you think would indicate where things are headed. Sure. I think we're seeing the cooperators get sentenced in terms of Cohen who tried to cooperate and Michael Flynn who did cooperate a sentencing delay. But it wasn't delayed forever. He'll be sentenced at some point in the first few months of twenty nine thousand nine hundred one would expect there have been open investigations believed into Roger stone, and maybe Jerome Corsi relating to actual connections between these folks were linked to the Trump campaign and who also have been connected to WikiLeaks. And so that I think will be an interesting subject, but it does seem based on some reporting on the fact that we're. Seeing these cases begin to end in terms of Flynn and Cohen and Manafort that even though this may not be the end, it may be at least the end of the beginning. And maybe the beginning of the end. So stay tuned to stay in tune. Time Lauren Dartmouth around the way, John one of the players in this Republic faces that is talking a lot and has been we're muehler hasn't is Rudy Giuliani for Donald Trump, and he has been all over the place lately. I mean, for example, on the question of will Trump answer any more questions for molar? Here's what Rudy Giuliani said two weeks ago. So when you say, good luck, no way. No winner view their joke over my dead body. Over my dead body yesterday. He told the Daily Beast, the talks are still open, but they're still open to it. And they're still talking about it also heading into twenty nine hundred what does Rudy Giuliani do for the president? How is he helping him? John. Very good question. He is his own theater in this whole episode. I think what he's doing. He's doing it pro Bono. He's not charging the president anything is he's getting some attention on himself and his relationship with the president which may help his business his security business that he pedals around the world. So I think that's what drive in Rudy. He doesn't appear to be well briefed on what is actually happening in any of these cases doesn't appear. Well informed by his the lawyers who are working for Trump. So I, you know, I think it's show, but not much tell Harry on the day that the Muller report drops assuming it is public. What are you looking for? I think we're still I sure the first thing that I'm looking for probably everyone is what is the evidence of the connection between the Trump campaign. Trump and his circle his family business associates and Russia are their financial. Size that were uncovered as a result of this investigation that help explain some of the conduct. We've seen Trump at the Helsinki summit with Putin are their answers to these mysteries. In the report..

"Person you shouldn't be working for CNN. Give it to. Rude person the way, you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible and the way you treat. Other people are horrible a section treat people that way. In in defense. I've traveled with them and watch them. He's a diligent reporter who bus big fan of yours. Either. So I understand Zander of MSNBC's. If I can you repeatedly, you are the best Mr President, you repeatedly over the course. Again, a Costa's up yelling again you when you report fake news. Now when you report fake news, which CNN does a lot. You are the enemy of the people. Go ahead when I was in the news business and I worked for CNN for seventeen years. You're asked would have been fired at that moment by my bosses back. Then Ed Turner, no relation to Ted Turner, executive vice president of CNN in charge of news would have fired you on the spot for that any president democrat Republican Ed Turner would have fired you and if the Washington bureau chief didn't agree with firing you he would have fired the Washington bureau chief to my bosses at CNN Bill headline the famous Bill headline my boss bureau, chief CNN Washington would have fired you for that my boss Frank sesno would have fired. You would have at least suspended for that is softer and river at least suspended for you. This man needs to be pulled off this beat. He is not a legitimate journalist. He's not a legitimate news. Reporter he is he is a political hatchet boy for the left a boot lick for the democrat party. And he is not he does not like this is why had to leave CNN and leave the news business. I could see which way the wind was blowing. And this is where they are. And he is not a reporter and CNN is not a news organization as long as they want to send him to the to the White House to pretend to be a reporter. Now, the White House put out a statement yesterday. Last night from Sarah Sanders. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, President Trump believes in a free pet oppress and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his administration. We will however never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. When the young woman probably nineteen twenty years old long brunette hair lean athletic college age intern. And it was her job to go to the press conference then pass the microphone from one reporter to another. The president is like you're done. The young woman went in to get the microphone Jim Acosta through a vicious psychotic karate chop with a machete and his hand. It didn't really it wasn't. It wasn't like that. But if you freeze framing at a certain point, you can see he does pull the Mike back clutches it tightly refusing to surrender the microphone uses as other hand and swings. The Mike any did make contact with her with his free hand, basically brushing her away as he kept talking because let's not forget who who Jim Mukasey says. And and who this young woman is. So Yohan says young woman just tried to do our job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. The White House said it is also completely disrespectful of the reporters. Colleagues. Not to allow them an opportunity to ask questions. President Trump has given the press more access than any president in history. I don't know how to measure that. But he's very very available hell of a lot more available than Obama, and they licked Obama every time they got close contrary to CNN's assertions. There is no greater demonstration of the president's support of a free press than that event held. He held today only they would attack the president for not being supportive of a free press in the midst of him taking sixty eight questions from thirty five reporters over the course of an hour and a half including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employees behaved as not only disgusting. This is the Sarah Huckabee Sanders thing it's an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women who work in this administration as a result of today's incident. The White House is suspending the hard pass. That's the White House credential to get in and out of the building of the reporter involved until further notice. That's what the White House put out last night. They suspended as passed. Then Jim Acosta went on Anderson Cooper's television show where they never showed the video. I saw a cost on there. I happen to turn at the end of the manderson pooper our, and they had Jim Acosta on to say, I was just asking a question. I all I all I wanted to do was ask a question. Add on the on the caravan that they were running before the. Midterms. You're a racist. And I were going back and forth there, and as you can see in this video this intern came up to me. Because they're not showing up. She is an attempted to take the micro front away from me give it to the next day at that point is that I was trying to hang onto the microphone. So I could continue to ask the president questions. How many do you put my hands on her SOB? And it's just unfortunate that the the White House is saying this truth professionals.
