What It Means To Unblock
"Hey, hey, hey, good morning to you. I have a an exciting week in store for us. Well, at least for me, I hope it is for you and that is regarding the tag line for virtual data that has been in the center of my heart for Seventeen years now unblock and fold unleash am going to get to that in a moment. But first i'm just telling you that I am not moved in to my six month rental yet. My husband and I are still sort of unbounded untethered we move in tomorrow actually and have been floating around northern Maine for the last week with us being that we are still in the middle of this covid-19 as people like to call it now. We wanted to stay away from the crowd and safe and Ed. As we moved around stay away from human beings as much as we could so we are landing tomorrow in our 6-month rental and I look forward to be having at least some of my stuff in one place. It has been it has been quite a ride, but the ride continues. So without further Ado, let me get to them what we are going to be talking about this week the tag line for Verge. Yoga came about in 2004 before I even opened good friend of mine. Johnny. Gillespie asked me well what your tagline Cara and I'm like, what do you mean tagline? I need a tagline. You said? Yeah, you need a tagline like oh crap. So I allowed the question as I often encourage you to do play with questions drop questions into your Consciousness because guess what you're extraordinarily intelligent and you will come up with them. Answer somehow someway you can just trust it. So I remember laying down and taking a short nap one day and after I had been mulling around what time the tag line forever giaga, and I opened my eyes from the nap and I set out loud unblock unfold and Leash what the heck and I started playing with it and I thought okay, you know what we'll start with this and we'll see how it evolves over time. Well, it has stuck at least for me and I'm going to explain to you off the course of this week what the meaning of Unblock unfold unleash means to me and has meant to thousands of students at virgi Olga. Unblock will just start with that today. It really is the basis of mental Fitness. And you know, I've been talking about mental Fitness and I am all mental Fitness. Now my fridge and mental Fitness is is really the three domains of body brain and biome and how to get to the root causes the root of our imbalances the root of our struggles the root of our aliveness and intelligence and I don't want to play up at the surface. There's enough surface-level self-help out there. What I hope to bring you everyday in 6 minutes or less is route route remedies route practices route protocol protocols. So unblock is this outer level of breaking patterns, which we spent a whole week on a few weeks ago go back and listen. And I and and those patterns are physical mental and emotional. We can unblock patterns through practice through inquiry through looking at through being curious about and I think that the easiest patterns to unblock are generally the physical ones if you think about a yoga practice, we are unblocking tension. We are unblocking tightness. We are discovering where we are where we are stuck physically my hips my hip flexor my back my neck. I'm talking personally here. So unblock is really about identifying and then starting to chip away at obstacles that hold our energy back. In in the in the root definition of yoga. It is about on releasing obstacles that impede Richie or Pro NE Chi energy from flowing through our lives. And so this unblocking is this first level and I gotta tell you we're never really finished with unblocking. I mean, we will always Circle back cuz we will always buy new levels of mental physical emotional tightness and tension that's ready to be released. So my question for you today is is what can you start unblocking? What is ready to start releasing or dissolving? What patterns would start with the physical? Look at your yoga practice. Look at your your your workouts. Where am I stuck? Where am I weak? And then we move into mental and emotional through our brain practices through the meditation practices the inquiry the Stillness the silence the Solitude off for today. We're going to just play with those those layers peeling away the layers where we are stuck where we are tight and tense home and that is how we start to unblock the energy that brilliant Prana G life force energy. Just so waiting to run through you and me through me.

Beauty Tips To Empower The Visually Impaired
"Fabulous guest and co-host is Chelsea win. She is a licensed cosmetologist an image consultant and she also is a very special kind of educator Chelsea Welcome to our show. Thank you. Thank you so much for having me Amber, sir, Thank you. To be honest today. It's a real honor to have you on because I'm going to let you explain the type of education that you provide. Well, thank you so much. Aside from being a cosmetology instructor where I work for a global company name Chi and I teach hair make I mean hair techniques and color techniques and Beauty School for students as well as for teachers and salon owners. I also teach non Visual and adaptive techniques for individuals who are blind wage. Julion pearre disabled on you know, makeup techniques grooming hygiene how to do their own Nails how to do their own hair so that they can prepare for job interviews and even more so more importantly it's about being independent self confident and always looking your best whether or not you can or cannot see yourself in the mirror. I have to say you be honest with everybody listening right now when I you know, a lot of the times I'll receive story pitches and ideas some of them come from you at home. And when this month when your name came across my desk, I was intrigued because admittedly, you know, I thought I don't know that many people who are visually impaired and you know, when I started this podcast, I really wanted this to be a place where people could come and get education and be empowered and and also be dead, Lightened about things that we might not know about whether it was products or procedures or or people in general and you know through talking to a learned that October which I feel like I'm not many people know his breast cancer breast cancer awareness month is is also visually impaired Awareness Month. Correct? Yes. It is the month where there is white cane safety day, which is nationally recognized day and it's about you know, recognizing individuals who are blind and visually impaired and really addressing their independence with by using the white cane which as you know is what they use to help with orientation and mobility and all the Independence that maybe a lot of people may not perceive that they have right so but yeah, it's a very empowering Day, I am so honored that you are here. I think that for again people listening. This is going to be inspiring and emotional when we started talking in our in our pre-owned chat. You've got some some such brilliant tips that whether you are visually impaired or fully sighted. I think that you are going to find incredibly useful and and I hope this podcast particularly gives you a little bit of inspiration and you know, and and that you leave it feeling a grateful for those of you who don't have to deal with visual impairment of how lucky we are. So I think you get into this field. How did you get into this specialty? It you know what I have to say. It was purely by accident. I really was very much like you and very much like most people in the world who may or may not most people haven't met a blind person in their lifetime. And so I was very unaware of the need even that this even existed that there were blind women who wanted to learn how to do their makeup nor did I even have the idea that that that was something that you know was a concern and so several years ago back in 2011. I started volunteering reading for the blind games on a radio show called sight into sound radio and I was volunteering, you know, just to read books read, you know magazines to to the song mind and then over that course a couple of months later. I went to an event that we were, you know, hosting or not hosting but there and I met a blind young lady. Here in Houston. She's also known as the MasterChef winner for 2012. Her name is Christine Hall. If you pull her up on the internet, you'll find all information about her. She is a blind woman here in Houston who won MasterChef 2012. Wow, and you know, she's like a celebrity in the blind community and I walked up to her cuz I was there on site into sounds behalf. And I said, hey, you know, I'm a hairstylist and a makeup artist. So if you ever need anything, I'll be more than happy to help you and just so you know get you ready for the cameras and get you ready on set and she said, you know Chelsea, there's so many makeup artist and and people like that that are usually on said that can do that for me home. But to be honest since I lost my vision I haven't been able to do my makeup for myself anymore. And I said, oh really and she said, yeah and I said, well she's like, so do you think you can teach How to put on my own makeup and I said, why don't know I've never taught a blind person to put on their own makeup before, you know, I teach you know, young ladies and their mom and later, you know women that come in at my school and all the time who have Vision, but I said, you know what? I don't know but let me give it a try and so so we set up an appointment in her kitchen. I came to house several times and cookies something good. Not yet. Okay. All right. All right. We got to get in there. She did open up a restaurant here in Houston called The Blind goat, so just woke up there, but she has her own restaurant and she she does cook but at that time, you know, we sat down in her kitchen and she she taught me what it is that a blind person needs. Like how to teach her I didn't even know how to teach her. So she was like, okay. Well, can you describe that a little bit better? Can you like what you know and then hear what does that bottle feel? Like, what does that feel? And so here I am in our kitchen learning how to teach a blind person with audio description. I didn't even know what the word meant at the time then it was how to give verbal instructions on how to describe color how to map your face with your fingers and feel like orientate or your body. Like where are my eyebrows where you know are my thoughts eyelids and things like that and then like using your hands as guides and using voice as you know instruction and so it was like and then learning how to identify the differences between this bottle versus that

Our Apollo and we are diving into the world of Energy Management Into Chico Congo energy gathering new. Just done some shaking. That has helped your system to rid itself of any stagnant energy and toxicity that was ready to go and so. I invite you now to just bring your hands into a crossed hand position over your love belly and if you're a woman it's your right hand on first and your left hand covers it. If you're a man oversee left on on first and right covers it. And I'd like you to really make your palms cover one another because we have very powerful energy centers on the center of our palms and they are energy gate. Portal's their their places of of Connection for us so when the back of one hand connect soon with the palm of the other is what you're doing here and both of those energy. Send his now in alignment just below your navel. And you're connecting with your Dante and energy cents. Now now this place It's got a really unique quality to it so with your hands there. You're guiding any extra energy to be gathering in here because this is like a reservoir. It's an a place in your system that you can build up the energy for using later. So after any she going movement we come into a still place of letting the system settle in any extra chee. Fresh vitality can land here in the Dante. An and with your mind on that place. Remember what you focus on grows. You imagine that underneath your hands there your connecting him with a little ball of vitality and you can imagine this is a ball of warmth or A little tail light or a golden sphere of energy and that this is being nourished up from the earth. Also bring some energy from the breath down into this space to adding that stream of nourishment in through the breath achieved the breath so we come into what we refer to as the Ngong or the internal energy work so well. Things are softening and releasing and relaxing. So as your body is softening in to the strength and power of your bones supporting you. A my sense is the the power of the planet when we let it resonates up into our bones and we notice how strong we are here. So feeling the strength of the earth reverberating up through the bones of your feet and your legs and your hips and your spine traveling down your arms up into your head and even the little bones in your is in imagining your bones receive in the energy the Earth it's lovely to invite an collar here a caller that represents strength and power to you and I can recommend gold. Fit your system right now so imagining your bones to have a Kala Anna power to them at your center. I'm when we bring our awareness to our bones light this it not only helps them to strengthen but it also encourages the bone marrow to produce the white blood cells and the red blood cells which are all part of our immune response and so we have this aspect of. Chico boosts immunity and fat. All going will help to do that. Because it's de-stressing you and it's the stress that is not healthy for us and can deplete the immune system again. Here right here and now you're doing yourself a whole bunch of good. Just standing there absorbing and recognizing the power that is innate in you only in your bones of now in your belly so I would like to complete with a circulation of the energy for us here on she time And we've been with the hands over the belly and focusing on receiving the energy from beneath you and through the air as well. We're creating a lake of chee in the in the reservoir and this lake of chee it fuels the extraordinary meridian line. Just the ones that go up the spine and down the front and center line so we always work with this lower Dante in principle. I because this is Your Foundation Energy Center and from there we can then encourage the Cheetah circulate. So let me find another chain and really. There's only one hsun. I can play for the great wheel of Chee. And that is Tim. Waiters Guy Torry Mantra. This is just stunning. It's just the best track to play with this and how is fantastic when I did? This live at mind body spirit last year but I won't get too distracted now But I'd love you to enjoy it so let me just go through what the movement is like so you peel off your hands from that centre line crossed position so that the palms face forwards in the hands are an arms a relaxed the sides but they said palms a facing forwards. You're still in your hip. Put the proposition. Or you're seated with your feet knees and hips in alignment and your spine is nice and long and we're going to circulate the Chee by moving the arms in large arcs so they going to lift up at the side of you as long as they possibly can be pass shoulder level palm still facing up all the way to the top for what is comfortable for you. Please don't strain your shoulders. A tour. They kind of round over atop the palms face down just above your head or just in front of your head at the top. And then they going to slide down the center line in front of you with the palms facing down the fingertips almost touching but not quite and they glide down all the way and this is a clearing action as well as a moving action and the idea is to clear any more debris that's ready to go so in the palms reached down to the bottom of the tour. So you imagine that cleansing act continuing down the legs down to defeat and down your long route to the center of the earth and then the palms turn forwards again. Come out to the side and you're ready to lift the arms again. So this is the in breath lifting arms the top and the out breath bringing down the center. So it's clearing but it's also activating your cheese. So let's do a few rounds of the great wheel of Che to Mr Tim. Liters guy treat mantra.

"And people will have different views about this? I don't spend too much time concern myself with what the eventual outcome is going to be. Because I I feel like they're all things I can do. And there are things I can just fantasize about is very clear to me sitting here passively. Awaiting some miracle doesn't feel to me appropriate way of doing things so I think all asks us to dig deep and locate those gifts that we have that she planted inside every human if prior to our being born to excavate the gift to develop it to bring it to its fullness and then with energy with courage with love basically share it and that sharing continues until the day that we take last breath and this joy in that you know. There's a wonder yeah and I can feel. This is US speaking that it took me to a place deep inside to that knowing And it's more than there is a joy and there is a connection of truce. I think the more more and this is something that came out on time of the six months. Nicolini speaks about this. When people have been cited bamboozled with manipulation and contrivance when the truth speaks yes you get it because you resonate with it recognize it. Yes that's right Clara If you've got any handy tips for people in this when they hear the fire on the news. The Corona virus happening at the moment and people might go into the whole. How can I manage myself? How can I still pull this panic and anxiety and fair because anything that you could suggest people here on time but I would say first of all first thing to understand? I've I've I feel is it would be entirely normal and indeed a sign of good mental health to find much of what is happening at the moment extremely painful. It shows you numb if you said to me many people though however if you succumb to be overwhelmed by the suffering and by the pain and and then an unable to see the beauty and the joy there are others of course who see the beauty and the joy and unable to open it is to see the suffering. I think we all time to walk with both joy and grief held cupped in our hands as we go so the tears will flow but the laughter must also flew in the end. It is finding a way of remaining in touch or getting in touch if that's the case with everything that is beautiful and wonderful and extraordinary both in human beings and in nature in general in life and at the same time committing ourselves in some way to making a difference and being able to behold it all now that does sound like an awful lot perhaps to do. But I would say it's committing to the journey in other words. Let's take our attention. I would say off is. They're going to be a happy ending to this story or or not but more to how do I bring myself to this moment. And this moment and this moment and this day and to all the ordinary and beautiful day to day things which fill our days in the end. I think it is really important that we develop our gifts and deploy them because that allows us to feel useful and helpful and will it be enough. No it won't be enough because it takes. You know all of us to be doing that but it is such a wonder. Isn't it to be standing there when your shoulder to shoulder with others? Who are doing something and the very fact that we're different. Isn't that fantastic different from each other? We're not all the same. And that's what we are in the end. We are that circle the circle of chiefs all of whom hold different parts of that circle. And we're incomplete without any one of those people and when we all stand together in that way anything becomes possible. So I'm not sure if that's the tip but it's a way of approaching these times that works for me so I will go out into some pretty hideous and awful places I will go into what are sometimes field to be hostile environments. I will go into places of ugliness but at this point in my life I also have managed to create the means where I live also in a beautiful part of the world so I can move from one to another. It's the art. I say. Oh how to live in the way ditch Redo play Brings his brings his or her music forward in other words. How do I manage to sing my song whilst breathing in and breathing out without while while the music continues? Does that make sense? Yes you got that image. Because in other words the alternative is take a deep breath. Make a noise and then collapsed exhausted while you pumped lungs up with another deep breath. Then you have another go. This'll rise and fall. Where's the DUPLEIX? Maintains is fantastic. So the rhythm and moves with the whole thing. It's an aspiration and it's a beautiful analogy. It really is because I was thinking of Kaji seized again in the whole twin treasurer Yin Yang of being. One thing. You keep the dance going but the plan has that smoothness. Yes of being with a In behind the scenes having to do what it takes to be able to produce that smoothness on that is that is a thing really brilliant. Wow thank you matt for sharing your time and your wisdom with us here. Thank you thank you. It's been an honor. I've really enjoyed for me for me. It was three years ago that we last spoke. Can you believe and while I you know I was on the train always traveling and I read it on the way back and I got over halfway through the whole train journey and it was just so wonderful to continue. Can you on the energy of having been in your presence and experience and then be out to read the book so thank you so much for that we meet W up she. I know she cheat time exactly. And so. I've just re-met Jason again. Mind Body Spirit in Birmingham and Yet how she connection was going strong there and it was a fantastic show. Wasn't it that that Sunday that we were there for felt really very sacred in a way that we were doing that kind of energy were on a Sunday to all those people and of course lobby some way to is there a track his deploy a little bit later. That was the soundtrack for what you were doing. An idol supplied the guide tree Manchurian and the IRAS presenting and I was really honored that you state eight and was there as part of the going the I was offering to. It was my first time on this stage. MBA overcrowded something years. And we ought your energy. Thank you thank you so much all through joint and then to meet your lovely wife Specialis I should well Beautiful exquisite energy going around and It was making me smile so much in your set it because you were talking about how cheese key and that is one of my mantras. 'cause it's so is so jason now you said can you explain a little bit more for listeners viewers why she is a very important she just give you a third creep creep introduction of people those people never may hurt about the term called seed so in Indian yogic system is called Brown but basically it's a life force so we'll talk about light boys. It's not only running jogging and we call. That is a holiday for a life force itself. You have happened. Shoot if you don't have to believe in you just touching it so to touching really to learn to get into the sequencing for example you go to Ocean holiday okay. All beach holidays. You feel fantastic. You'RE GONNA why if you stay until you can connect or somebody buys you get in touch with take our that nature POW Cheat and you've got plenty and you feel alive you got less you feel unsettled told you got less or you got trucked into your body and Ugo stress or when you got a sheet as I said you might have to become you will feel much much Betcha and also it is. Everybody can learn to get top in trump. And you don't have to be young. You ought to be all everybody. I mean it is the hold you here now but what you need to learn to get in touch with you do. It's the subtle. Isn't it the information and by your natural vitality is a subtle mechanics there and you say right when you go to the ocean or out in nature you just feel balanced and chief full manage. What is your response to your inner nature to out out tonight show but also to the energy that she that is there in this net present in the negative ions or something? Isn't that what it said. The cheese definitely can go through some of the Abi City Centre even shopping center. New Feel Bob you Actually losing vitality even okay. You excited you. Tired is strange okay. People don't understand why it feels so tired again so in my be getting decent mill. Because you this not connecting with a natural ala which is sustained or life we just call it she definitely dice of positive. Cheap healthy chee or healthy energy sake or getting stress. Basically they accumulates humanists or we could a sick cheat on some people simply they got book inches in their whole ecosystem system. I call them our bodies. It has not only body actually ecosystem basically go if allusion is body. The A whole people who've been on a planetary exist for beating years old you are it is Evil Lujan okay miracle and actually can learn how to tap into the wisdom within the field of energy. This energy is Hokey but when you in how into energy intelligent literally he speed up natural heating Immune system becomes stronger. And so you can get young girl so intelligence and fostering that within yourself learning how to do it so this is through Taichi and she going young and meditation. These are particularly the Energy Art Sunday. We've got rake. She is well and Shiatsus in the acupunctures or passive working with Radian lines. Sounds like we all like Agai- same vibration. Oh Okay I. They're not so the the Chee in Taichi is not the same was the cheese and she going or it's a different aspects of your like so for example it to sequence and then holding it will last and so when your energy channels are open and you start to notice the tingling on your fingertips as you continue practice just sitting here or standing there and then Bradley getting stronger and stronger so that is the foundation to cultivate the cheap because we only have face more time together so I just say look just holding it with less and then so you went today you found some cheap but but then to stalwart is quite fun. I'm later is more than that later. It is a key in Esha- that energy and the the movement coming from inside outside and then you start to get in touch with the adamant all be so we got a file because we've got water we've got the herb got the air so we combined and then you start to notice okay. We are part of the two nature you sound to dance and become our into the Taichi upon dateable basically become and becomes John and it becomes soft on we can become an power so this is a dense for blind so that is our extension from the cheadle it would hide cheap a movement off the cheap. Those within she can. There is movement to and as the movement's going they're very linked Taichi. I mean they're they're like brother and sister siblings aren't they. They're so deeply connected and one supports the other. Yeah but yet would you say that she goes more of healing As a on its own standalone healing system. They both can Helped heating process. But then just like you say the case of their broadened system I will use on Dacian as a treacherous I used a said art form it is. You know it's not identing is not only muscle entirely up up to you. What you do I for me is a dance leiper movement in life itself and then in my life it's his vast Up Their son down here we got the we are in between so and then surrounding will be able to solar system and the Milky Qa so we actually scientifically proven. There's no such thing as empty space now. We have faecal faith on the western Russian. Can we talk about the thought. mezuzah looked because they adopt because they just see it. So that's the result they say talk and then energy so they said okay only four percent if there's anything is called Meta only about focusing in the universe basically we've been our whole body is totally empty was really ms and we actually life but the cost model so the Taichi. If you like or cable I really love it. You actually not only dancing with the woman human done on that you can dance with rays of the sun which has been spectrum and different spectrum and vibration and the writer by aqueous. Take your whole hope. By Beijing is become the white light so now infamous Heidi recall movement in the light to weed amazing. Oh speaking my language Jason. This is just touching me deeply moving with the light beautiful and when going back to the elements since the air element so at the mind body. Spirit festival you had US feeling the air. We touching the air and I often refer to. The air is being being a place that we feel spacious. NECE that we're surrounded by air we breathe in that possibility spacious. This and then you're on the air is full. Yair is full elephant show for the chee feel it now all I love they search something you cannot see. It appears spacious and free but actually contains information. That's right it. Content information basically hold human existence is based on inflammation right down to the way the eight which is gene and that is all information. What have come out because the today signs we actually understand gene? DNA inside is surrounded by the south. which is a protein the protein it tastes actually receiving automation from the from us from the signal we send to to the to the south fifty trillions of them so in the Chee exercise we coming back into the cheese and and Byu super pill so good basically you'll see okay you'll let your whole body perceive I'm feel so good on the life and a signal? Dan was go in to to the south and to the south in to go into the DNA the DNA cut a signal open up and we actually have a new memory. So you reconsider. If you like we can actually if you it is true antiquity Krugman reversal.

It's not so there's a choice GonNa say how do you work in an NGO have Beautiful for those of you who you're listening this is how can you describe her instead of those colors beautiful. Yeah she's she's Royal Python says she's a mixture of gold in and dog Brown. So Barry's very beautiful. The Egyptians always world pythons and capers oil pipelines because there was so placid and very hotshot crews energy when I when I worked with them in in context of the ceremonies that we hold. We were Specific Chef Chris than than we work with the snakes Today I shocked because they've got very different energy. That's in jail. I noticed on your website which qualicon Delaney Dot com that This is an amazing orange will know how many different comments if you go through a color fruit shock crews there. Generally we work with the second shock for them 'cause they're muscle sexy inwardly and there's a lot flow there and a lot of movement which is really symbolic second the second shock and of course as we move in going into these ones very much hot chocolate because the very very still very calm very sensitive. They're good at getting people is that fair will FIFA inside the majority of my Sanchez row. Pythons but I do have a number of different stanks and there's some stay at Heinz. Thanks awesome awesome. Snakes were coming in in the environment designing what this thanks. I know already comfortable with it and some some snakes that just not so people friendly so they they just hang out with me and then of course when initiating when the when the tool so there's times and places is that that feel more happy to be sociable and that's the beauty of having a pew in the Sanctuary said that when we do a ceremony I know who's ready to be searchable who would like to come surname percent healing. 'cause they get feeling back you see. That's the idea. That's why I call it happening. A lot of people like referred to as thank Yoga which is pretty frustrating because is it gives the impression that way just angling saint surrounding Yoga Pisces. When actually it's really a meditative practice that we we do our yoga before we meet snakes and we meet this happens happens in this is sacred space? We don't to them because they're beautiful beings vibration and they feel the vibrations didn't have is as such he. Ah But they feel deal so we really connecting their wells three dementia. "When I was about sixteen. Or maybe even fifteen and I had what what I can only describe as a kind of nature experience in those teenage years here in Somerset and experiencing one spring just just the overwhelming power beauty transforming power of off. The natural world was just one of those kind of you know people have these experiences this ferry occasionally in life but it was transformative for me and I just understood stood at that point. The was nothing more important in my life than looking after life itself and everything else. I came from a political family but all of the political issues shrinking to relative insignificance. When you compare it with the I need to preserve and enhance the life support systems? We all depend upon so life itself became the mission and understood that that is politics as well that we have to change the politics and the way people worked together to govern themselves and that was the beginning of my journey. So I stood in the nineteen seventy-four toby general election. I stood as a candidate date for the Green Party or a predecessor of the Green Party at my school and I was a candidate in the school at action. Curiously enough occurs. Because you'll just hear mild schools just asked me to write about it in the old school magazine. I've just sent an article about that just now I was a very long time ago area. Yeah but that realization that behind everything is this care and respect for the environment. I I mean it is actually a no brainer and I and I was growing up in in the late seventies my I remember my dad. Stamping these save it. Notices over everywhere like always turn the lights off and on and that environmental awareness and it was like well of course. Why wouldn't you do that? Why would you waste this resource and and I thought that you know? By the time I was an adult this would be sorted out because it's so obvious and yet it hasn't it got worse and worse and worse and now we've got rivers full of plastic. It's like how do they ever. How ever allowed to happen and bodies full of plastic? We've all got micro-plastics and in our bodies but I would say one of them because you met you mentioned environment the environment because I always try to be careful with terms and the environment. I've never would never call call myself. An environmentalist and the reason is that the environment is your surroundings. It's everything outside of you and the one thing thing. That was really strong when I got involved in. This is what led to green. Politics was the understanding that we were part the web of life. We weren't separate from it. Yeah and that everything was connected and you do something to one part of this web and it will affect every other part of the web hip and Ecology is the study of the interconnections political ecology. Is when you put that into political practice so I would say I was a political medical oncologist and a green rather than an environmentalist. And it's quite important when you look at the politics of it because you can be so you can follow a socialist or a conservative or liberal philosophy and still be an environmentalist but you can't really be a green I'm a fool green and only an environmentalist because you understand the interconnectedness of everything. Thank thank you for that clarity. Really get that and in a way the fact we have two were asked to vote for one. Political party at the time is like well. How how from that perspective of us all working together? Is it even possible to think that we could have a multi faceted it policies political party or not even political party anymore but a way of running things is much more collaborative and unifying senate unifying so that everybody gets to be. I mean I don't know what I'm trying to say here. But it's a bit of a a utopian approach of the such a different range of people in the world here in the different varieties of people here who's to say that one size fits. It's all because it doesn't so the the several different ways to approach politics. I mean one is from the philosophical direction and there's another from a purely tactical duration you know tactical who shall vote for you know he's going to advance my beliefs it. Do I my planning for the long term or only concern with short-term voting does those kinds of factors but I think where I'm coming from at the moment is is the more philosophical one and from that point of view there is a spectrum which is far more important than the left right spectrum and that's the great green spectrum and where do you stand on life itself because this fall mole that socialist and conservative traditions have in common with each other Autho than they have in common with the political ecology tradition the green tradition. 'cause it starts from a fundamentally different place. And I think this this is what a Lotta people haven't yet grasped and when they do I think you will see in some areas. You already see a significant shift and the other main feature of green politics courses that it's not just about idea is it's not just an ideology it's about how we live How we think how we breathe? It's a philosophy of life and this was really laid out clearly by Teddy Goldsmith. WHO's the guy a who set up the first Green Party in this country and actually help find green parties around the world when he explained that it was a it was a philosophy the fief life and it's as important to consider our lifestyle and our personal habits behaviors and beliefs practices as it is to consider what governments do so it is a it's a holistic approach in the same way as it's a holistic belief system is also a a holistic strategy listrik approach to how you go back change and so you can't separate your own personal life from what you vote for? All what governments do everything is connected bringing it back to personal responsibility and just the feeling there that it's very linked into the philosophy of nature in Taoism. That was like the that's where all began intimately connected. Yes I think that the direst approach coach the way that goes move road where a wonderful book called the way And I think green politics is fundamentally about coming into alignment with the way. I think that is right at the heart of it. Living in alignment. And so you can see that for me either. The green politics flows naturally into running the earth. Spirit Center Because it's all all part of achieving growth both personally and politically. They're two sides of the same coin. You can't really separate them. Yeah quite and also brings about the personal responsibilities. That the choices that you have on a moment to moment basis brings back that potential of you can take care of yourself you can empower yourself but with your own choices. You don't have to look to somebody else to make the choices for you and with with the levels of stress that we've got at the moment in the world to the Western world. There's a lot of stress on the planet and in the people and I wonder if that is come from the fact that there than not empowered as people anymore. It's fundamental to agreeing political approach. Older political ecology starts with. It's not ecology ecological wisdom of understanding Then then the other principals on nonviolence decentralization Social Justice These are all likely important and giving people or people claiming for themselves responsibility to take decisions over their own lives or in collaboration INC with others That's fundamental because it changes our relationship with ourselves and I think we are disempowered and for us to find that sense of self worth of personal dignity Then we. I need to take that Paul to ourselves that might sound a bit anarchistic and I think it is and I mean anarchism. In Uh Anna kissed the properties tradition. You look back to read. Writers like Peter Kropotkin. People that not the you know the populist picture of anarchy you know which you would know by being an ex punk. Let's say one other thing that I find difficult. It's this notion of tactical voting because we're in the gentler nation. People talk about tactical voting important. That is but another word. For tactical voting is negative voting. You are not voting.

We do need to band together. Why don't we you know like extinction rebellion and many other collectives local National International? And me think at the moment the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Madrid is occurring. So let's see what happens from that but it is feeling looking much more hopeful that twenty twenty will be the pivots all year for shifting into ecological integrity that places this is people and the planet higher up in the equation along with the old Gold Prophet of course now since I've moved to Somerset. I've been meeting like planetary activists of all sorts and many like me joined up with the growing Bright Sky Community who have collaborative local national and international projects platforms of running and growing. That's such a good point because you know you've got little markings on your kettle haven't you and why. Why would you want to use more? And then she then you need. It's like when you put the water on to clean your teeth. You don't have to need on. You just need your teeth and have a little little sip of it. In fact you can have a little cup rather than have up Apparently again is like we're spending about seventy pounds a year a filling all chemicals or something ridiculous like that say you know in terms of the cost lost it's not effective and intense the combinations Boiling Kettle is energy intensive Only put in what you need so I just have a cut the capital now. So let's say in the bug it's still in the book she meant ready all done complete swatting but I am enjoying it. It's really good because it's just so it's backed up with so much science in fact it's like you know these ideas unsealed in there and you can look up the science on this and the research that Lacey's like I mean obviously I didn't deal with that science I'm Noah Swayne tips myself. I am more like the mouse case. But they're all these incredible scientists journalists out there who said information so ask like grateful to them because it was the foundation of the book quite. But that's good when people read it because then they can look at where that's coming from. They can research further other if they want. Anyway Dr Fee. You had to get that one in this somewhere. Let's go oh to attract. Let's go to a trap by a very special lady when talking about collaboration being the chain is that we need to see on the world and could could you introduce it for us and not collaboration that went on with you until I say yet. And Nutrition Anina energy based medicine fantastic and so is my absolute thrill to invite onto cheat time a woman who has been diving deeply into into the quantum key arena yes Sharon rose the director and producer of the film's Quantum Chee all about <music> out she is here to speak to us about how she got beckoned into this world of natural healing inning energy and the link it has to the other dimensions of our being Sharon is an author a dancer an producer of many films and she is a complete lover of life and such a joy to be around so as I said before I'm thrilled and I'm honored to introduce Sharon rose to you here on she time stay tuned ti-time in the quantum CI mistress. I'm going to say Sharon. Rose is with us to complete on us on the show and it's it's such a joy to be with you Clark. I'm so happy to be here your enthusiasm your beauty. Your grace is just so colorful. I could say exactly the same T._A.. Is a reflection going on here which I feel right on it to the so yeah I'm I came across you via the concent- CI movie and anybody out there. Who is she going practitioner or even touchy or rake thank you any sort of energy medicine is going to be interested in this and this is a film or a series of films documentaries? That Sharon has nothing lead crossing Hamedani is now well. It's been three three years in June since I began the process so it's <unk> in order to pay for my editors etcetera. I worked other jobs so it's been part time and now it's reached such a place where we're hoping that I'll be able to work fulltime because it's it's so important right now with the way the world is is these teachings are so powerful and they bring such peace and serenity that I feel the way things Ktar in the world. We really need these starting from very young. There's teaching that are so simple and so important we all really need to go into a new place where we reconnected with nature were reconnected with their essence. We are reconnected connected with each other and we listen to each other and we learn how to heal ourselves and from that place finding the essence of our cell then we can reach out through these wonderful practices of Tekong Tai Chi Meditation <unk> Energy and acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine Taoism and all these fantastic ancient teachings that have been alive life for so many centuries and are really here to help us the radiologist. You're speaking those words I can feel the wealth well the richness that is coming through. I think it must be your understanding but also what that energy that is just rolling through you because the clear channels that you are so thank you for that and Sharon his is calling in from crestone Colorado in fat. Hopefully you can see if you're watching this the mountains in the background very beautiful place. It was a place created by my friend Armstrong Strong to house the world's religions. It's an experiment. Can All these religions live together. Can we really learn how to have community and we do. This is an amazing place for that well. The mountains are fourteen thousand feet and I'm speaking to you from nine thousand feet eight. Wow so when you say bring you'll the religions together. What what do you mean how how is this manage? Their view just got lots of different peoples different tempos award what's going on. We have temples that really look like example we have I think six Tibetan temples fools all different lineages and they all look like they come from India or Tibet. We have a Hindu Lakshmi goddess of wealth my girl Temple <hes> and it looks and we're doing fire putsches. We have the Carmelites we have all kinds of Basuki's disease. We have so many think there's like thirty three different traditions we have the way of nature <hes> that is directed by John Milton News in quantum she he brings together the teachings of Taoism Tibetan Buddhism and nature all all this sounds fantastic on a move there. No I'll say about it just makes absolute sense to to to weave together the truth and to me Daichi is like a connecting force between everything and that is the truth it's running through all of these different traditions and then we've got something to learn from one another uh-huh and to bring into the wave of now you see this is how we're gonNA move forward as a more united society <hes> that's what I would love to see the way things are going now it. We need to hold the light we need to go beyond <hes> be disparity charity and the duality and that's why I love The Dallas teachings and Buddhist teaching. It's little path and what what I find that soap youthful is that these teachings are not only bringing you physical grace and fluid right. There's the actual self-healing aspects and then they're these comes the play of these practices called Inner Outta me in which you really learn how to work with your emotions and they're very very powerful because I feel that the mainstream media is doing their best these days and for quite quite a while to just stir the pot of chaos and confusion and we get lost in this kind of cultural general trance we made a film called twenty twelve the Odyssey we made it in two thousand six and it was looking forward to the year twenty anti twelve and I interviewed all of these researchers and I feel that what they were saying then things like like <hes> the the lie would become the truth. The world will be turned upside down. You know people wouldn't would be just angry with each other. There'd be all kinds of earth changes that those things are really happening now and that's why these teachings are so important -portant we're here in this precious human body so many forget their lost in the matrix world in the technology world and and they forget the importance of their body. This is our precious vehicle and so I've been around for many many years worse teachers from many traditions from Tibetan Buddhism Hinduism. I lived in India. I'm a disciple of one of the great dancers of north India idea. She was early Bollywood Star so I was immersed in the music and dance and culture and mythology Met through this process are the healthiest happiest that I encountered in any of these traditions. They are incredible role role models so inspiring for example one of my wonderful interviewees is masterly jumping master legion. Vang is now eighty years old. and you see quantum chee he does sees these movements like he's thirty and he's teaching all day. He was a former martial arts film star. He was head of the Beijing Wushu team he discovered and trained jet Ed Lee and then as he got older. The spiritual aspects came just into him and he and his beautiful daughter leaching Beijing teach what's called Shenyang Gong the Shunjing Meditation and that is the meditation and movement of unconditional love and isn't that what we all need right now but how do you get to the unconditional love love. It's a whole process chemical process of distilling yourself of releasing these patterns of negativity and fear ear that are being projected on us or that we have experienced from childhood as a healer myself. I'm trained in cranial sacred therapy be and in <hes> a system called the psychophysical methods of neuro sensory re education which is kind of a combination love a hypnosis training and the Eldon Kreis <hes> in which you're bringing your consciousness into the tissues and very subtle soft repetitive movements that bring your conscious particularly into the joints what I'm finding you go through my inspiration of of master Lee and of course Monta Chia add Roger Janka and Ken Cohen and <hes> Daisy Li on me all of these wonderful masters that I have been working with for three years now. It is a profound system that incorporates so many aspects of healing and not only that they they really give you the tools to heal yourself that is why I go into Chico in the first place because I was looking for something the I could take anywhere and do for myself at any time and is lobby to have massages ongoing have treatments. Don't get me wrong but being able to take care of oneself to such a deep level has been incredibly precious gift. The I gave myself didn't realize just how deep that was gonNA. Take me so really with you on that absolutely and that it is so wonderfully accessible for all. Will it really Turkey's next people say like how he didn't niche market she going. It's like he account. It's across the board children. Get it. They love during the five abandoned will frolics for instance and then you go all the way through the ages what it can gift you around healing your body organs as well as emotional conundrums that we find ourselves in and then into the vitality that you can access when you're older. It's just a phenomenal exercise. This discipline isn't it is I turned seventy. <hes> in January and I'm really really really now focused so much on practice. I do at least two hours a day now. Because I was working so hard on this project you know sitting sitting there with the editor and you know just logging in everything and on the computer on the computer and then I really started to <hes> forget about my body was so obsessed and then I said that's it and so I'm really as a dancer. I understand disciplines. Oh Life I've been doing all of these practices and the Gong has added such an extraordinary dimension. I was a yoga practitioner since the sixties and I love Yoga but somehow in its translation to the West. It's become like yoga per apps at it's lost. Its is deep deep spirituality. Although it's always there to be to be discovered by anyone that wants to go deep but I I think that she gong and these Arts Tai Chi and will shoo antiques and all of that a really the next wave in healing mind body integration to me you know we're starting what we call the CI revolution and reaching out out the world uh-huh and the such lovingly excitement about it when you talk about the troops in that she wants to help it wants to play.
