There is a Surge Of Coronavirus Deaths in Mexico

"New data reveal a surge of cova deaths in mexico. The country has officially confirmed more than two million cases. An almost one hundred eighty thousand deaths from the corona virus but mortality rates. Tell an even more grim tale over the past year deaths were fifty two percent higher than in previous years. According to the financial times that puts mexico's rate of excess deaths much higher than that of countries such as america and brazil assembled woman to stay lot yet earlier this month. Mexico's president andres manuel. Lopez obrador widely known as anglo said. We are living in a stellar moment. The kovic spike is far from the country's only problem poverty. Corruption and crime are all on the rise but polls indicate that two years into amyloid term. Most mexicans are willing to give him more time. Mexico's president is incredibly popular. Sir burke is our mexico bureau chief he wanted on slide in two thousand eighteen and he still has approval ratings that most other leaders would be extremely jealous off at sixty two percent as it stands and that's all in spite of what looks like a very good handling of most things most obviously at the moment the pandemic. What do you mean by that. Mexico is a terrible record for covert hospitals are full and oxygen tanks in short supply. It's done very few tests for covid. It hasn't provided very much financial support tool for people who are suffering or being asked to stay home not to work the vaccination which is one sort of bright spot potentially insofar as mexico has lined up enough vaccines to cover its population. But it's a very very slow start. That might be picking up now. But otherwise there talks of ten years to get to seventy five percent of the population being vaccinated. I'm currently this has been a problem again from the top. So i'm low has completely downplayed the importance of the pandemic. He has refused to wear a face mask apart from wants when he flew in an airplane to go to the united states and he got covid himself the stars of this year and he reappeared and everyone thought well. Maybe he'll have changed his mind after this. But he reiterated again that he wouldn't be wearing a face mask so in the face of that pandemic response on wires his popularity still so high so he had this amazing vision for mexico in eighteen. Which is why he won with a landslide. He said. I'm going to do a fourth transformation. These big bold plan to make the country fairer and more equitable ending corruption and crime. And making sure there was economic growth where the gains were fairly distributed so that poor people go rich. The reality is slightly different from the vision so far in the two and a bit years. He's been in power. He's been undoing. The reforms of previous presidents and dismantling that system throwing out the baby with the bath water you could say. And then his new initiatives mainly they seem to fail to solve the problems that they put two and then a of third element is that he's really concentrated power in the presidency and some people say that they get things done and other people think they're more evil intentions behind that well. Let's come back to the throwing the baby out with the bathwater part. What's he'd been doing. In terms of reform he abolished prosper. Which was a very sort of lauded conditional cash transfer program for the poor he also reversed education. Reform was much more meritocratic assessment of teachers. A big one at the moment is he's trying to reverse bit by bit and opening of the energy market. That happened in two thousand thirteen so it was open to private and foreign enterprises which make electricity cheaper and greener on current. Neither congress is debating a bill which would favor cfe which is state owned electricity provider. So they're actually go first into the grid. As opposed to the cheaper electric which is often green provided by private companies. This would obviously raise prices and deti energy but it could also breach the. Us mexico canada agreement. Which is the north american free trade pact to replace after another sort of big thing has been getting rid of or proposing get rid of a lot of the autonomous agencies such as the freedom of information agency all these ones keep checks on the government and what it's doing so well he's been tearing all that down. What's he been building up. Will you say his own initiatives. Don't do what they should. He's very dedicated to fiscal discipline. That's a good thing especially in a so-called left leaning president it's also become very counter productive during the pandemic. The imf is telling mexico to spend more so far it's only spent nine point seven percents of gdp on extra efforts during the pandemic and more needs to be done and some people think this is going to need to scarring that there's going to be permanent drop in output caused by loss of jobs and businesses so the recovery is going to be much much slower in mexico than elsewhere. He's also splashed out on bizarre old-economy projects such as pouring money. Pex the world's most indebted oil company. And then he's putting eight billion dollars into a refinery at the time when no other country is building refineries and it's not clear what economic return that will be from that and you mentioned the big transformative plan was in part about ending endemic corruption and crime. How's that been going. Well either jason. That was point. Four percent dip in murders last year and he proclaimed this dip as a very significant success. But that's after a rise the before and frankly during the pandemic you'd expect it to have dropped them. In in other countries across latin america that also suffer high levels of violence that has been the case he also rejected the previous government's tactic of killing and capturing crime kingpins because led to a splintering of gangs. And you might be worth rejecting that. But there's no alternative puts in place. So i think his vision is that you alleviate poverty and crime goes down. That might happen in the long term but it does nothing to sort out the short term problem the problem of the current chapel as opposed to the ones who are still only three years old on corruption. As you could say he's set a good example so has been good political rhetoric. The stiffer penalties on bribe-taking for bureaucrats. But he's unless strengthen the institutions to carry that ford again it's more rhetoric than actual institutional change or heft. The national anticorruption prosecutors overwhelmed with cases and one government agency suggests that the number of acts of corruption actually rose by nineteen percent between two thousand seventeen and two thousand nineteen. It is as you say not a big list of happy news here. I mean when will that's ring down to the electorate. I mean how long we'll mexicans continue to support him for his failures because he really has persuaded a lot of people that he's like them and cares about the he's very popular because of who he is and his message rather than necessarily what he does. The opposition is seen as corrupt on what came before him was horrifically corrupt. And so he's seen the best of a bad bunch by a loss of people. But you know here's a classic populace and a lot of elite azam Against him they see him as a mexican version of hugo chavez. Which i think is a little bit of an exaggeration. But there's this big divides on the mix of policy failure. I'm power grabbing is is worrying.

"To not just saying for those of you. That are listening. That are like oh. That's crazy dental opposite has happened. Yeah i want to ask you. This will be the final question. Because i am merely. We're we do this for hours. It you and. I've talked about the saturday with kovic shutting down the practice of shutting down. I know i've had calls where okay. There's something weird with my insurance and you know when they call me is typically bad practices checks outstanding claims all that kind of stuff but every now and then i find something that say you know. You need need offseason. There's something on here because now covid nineteen augustine closed. There's now time to look and there's now time for dentists to address the you know. This is always hit. Be funny but i never had time to look. Has this happened to you with with people calling. I been so busy this year. I have been really busy. And part of that is at the first part of the year when they were filling out the ppp and the idol loans. They actually had to look at their finances and so a lot of them had no clue how to look at their finances. And we're going. Okay so can you help me figure out my quickbooks. So that i can make sense out of it and now going forward and so. That was a lot of fun. Because i love doing that. Now you are the quickbooks clean people you should know. She's written like forty two more on my plate right now but anyways but then a lot of the phone calls then that initial couple of months it was. You know i've been looking at my finances and something's not right. I've been the busiest. I've been in years this year. Even with the shutdown then it's because they were shut down and they had an opportunity to look at their books. So i would just really like to encourage people to keep looking at their books what they were doing this year. Their numbers seem a little off. You know like bernie. Madoff was too good to be true. You know. that's one thing that came at. The numbers didn't match. He was his was too good to be true. And in another the expenses were unexplainable high and that was the collin street bakery. The expenses were just so high. They couldn't figure things out or in. In our dental practices the income is unexplainable lead. Low were producing a lot. But we don't seem to be depositing so in order to know with the numbers are off. They actually need to review the reports with somebody who could teach them how to review the reports. Yes i have that to our. Ask the expert.

"You think he took a lot of vacations. It sounds like he went places is typically we find things when when the person is not in the office i mean. Do you think this new girl had not been hired. Do you think it would have just kept on. Maybe but she was maybe he was overall accounts payable and so i think she was doing some things for that day and saw the register and that's what caught her eye they might have but they were also growing so it was during a time that they were going. But you know it's just the thing that always is intriguing to me is that they never think they're going to get caught. They're they're doing it they become so brazen and how they're doing it then when they caught. It's everybody else's fault yes. You know it's like are you kidding. I actually had one case where they tried to blame the dumbest. And if you knew the dentist it would just totally make you crack up. Because he was the nicest guy quiet gentle tenderhearted. Really think this through. I had the lecture the prosecuting attorney the district attorney just to get them to see straight 'cause they started believing the accused. The subjects lies. I it was interesting. That was Three times it took to be with our to set her straight shoes. She was a little different dealing with some of these district. Attorney's is always been really interesting. Did they see this. Sort of a victimless crime. Are they excited to get a case like this. What do they think. well it. depends i tell you. The the excitement level on them depends on how much they understand. And so i tried to write the reports in such a way that the district attorney can pick it up and understand exactly how a dental practice works. I start from the very beginning in my reports in detail out how this works how it's operational and i work with the district attorneys to try and help them understand. If there's some problems. I you know i keep in contact with them. I try to help the done The dentists themselves right there victim statement.

"One hundred hours community service. Yeah but honestly kate new zak. Yeah she got off so light you know the other thing is our marriage dissolved five weeks after sandy was fired and ultimately they were divorced. And so you know that's another that's another something that that took a bite and ultimately here's the real thing four years. After he was sentenced he died in fort. Oh he's dead. Yeah march two thousand nineteen. I wonder if they were on their way to divorce anyways but once they started making money she's like i'm not getting off. This grey train knows right but yes she got super super easy for that especially the lifestyle she she had so there was probably ordering of restitution and yeah. The estate sell everything that was sold. They recovered so much and then everything that they sold in. The estate sale went to the bakery in. So they're never going to recover what they lost but at least they got back some. Yeah it was interesting so in an another article By berry slater the fort worth star-telegram. Hayden crawford was the marketing chief of time and he said sandy was a good friend. A trusted associate. We were operating one hundred seventeen year old business much like it had always been run see. I caught that part to it. Goes without saying we've learned. Our lesson have made the necessary changes to safeguard us from this kind of thing in the future but when this was going down our suspicions fell on everything except our own people. We are obviously far better at making quality fruitcake than spotting a thief. And i understand that comment. I hope they don't feel too down on themselves about this in you surround yourself with people you trust. It's natural to not look at them. Oh yeah raised eyebrow but at the same time this is not how normal corporate business a well run or business operates. You do need to take a look at everything. That's why you have audits checks and checks and balances. yeah absolutely. Let's go back a little bit because you were saying. There's the greed but there's a there's a evolution right. there's an evolution from tests always involve so my one point one million dollar case evolved from cash actually evolved from patting or payroll to cash to insurance checks. But with every time that there's a change in how it's being stolen they'll wait and so in if they don't wait very long than that always tells me that they'd probably stolen before room. And i've had that in my cases were they not waited very long. They stole pretty quickly after they started working. Which is always a big heads up. But you know it's just interesting and disheartening. Of course when you say that they started right away do you think it's because they're confident in their abilities or they limited amount of time and they need to get in get out. I think they're confident in their abilities. Okay i think. I think they stole from a prior practice. And they didn't get caught there or they got caught and they were not prosecuted. Which happens a lot that actually surprise me a lot you know..

"The bank. And i look at their systems and procedures to see what they need to tighten up on problems that i see that they have that they may or may not have been aware of. And so let me tell you how they got halston. Sandy got found out. Because i think this is really interesting. They had so essentially she was kind of new looking in right and she was in the accounting department and she found the check made out to capital one but she knew the bakery didn't have an account with capital one in so she's like sandy left for the afternoon and within a few short hours. This is all it took. This is the point in a few short our. She found eleven discrepancies that total. Four hundred thousand mazing just a short period of time. I looked her up because i was so impressed. By the way she used to be a bank teller here at my bank in arlington. I was like yeah homegirl. You go in only that. She got her accounting degree from. Ut arlington right down the street. Nice and now. She's the controller at college street bakery. I'd hire absolutely. I hope they gave her a bonus even though they've lost a lot of money hope they gave her a bonus for that. Because holy cow. No go on with your story. Because i want to hear how it all went down to the other side. Note that i'd say is what what was interesting is the next day so she found it that afternoon. The next day. Scott and bob and some of the executives at collins street bakery confronted him gave him time to go home and he grabbed grocery bags. Two toss watches jewelry gold bars. And he drove to austin where he stored the bags in his daughter safe before flying out santa fe and he was there for three weeks so it was a month later before the f. b. i. Removed valuable items untold. The cars he tried to get rid of some of the things around the austin area but they were discovered. That's when you read that about the gold bars gold bars. Let's talk about these gold bars. No kidding so you get. The furs had their their bathroom or their kitchen remodel. I heard. I read this and that oh yeah marble this and that and all that kind of stuff so he was like living a good life but gold. Bars is a next level thing. It's a proper thing isn't it. yes the wuzzy prepping. I don't know. I don't know if our firs the smart thing to buy when you're prepping and that's something to think about. I mean it's warm but still. I'm just saying bowl. Bars is something totally different. First of all. I don't even know where to go. The buy a gold bar. I'll be straight up on us. He's only to only i know to buy. Gold is is off of the ads on the news where they tell me to invest in gold coins..

"But i pulled up the horse hair match and you know i have to tell you. We use genuine horse tail hair and our beds. I'm reading this off of off of a website. It's purely natural extremely durable product. It's i washed in boiling water and then rinsed and thoroughly before being spun and disinfected and then heated and then blah blah blah and the result is a completely clean and springy natural material to process horsehair stored before being separated for us when we untangle the long strands. The horsehair is beautifully crinkled and has increased in volume many times over and there are different types of horse hair so i did not even know this was a thing but apparently there is a worse here industry today we learned that just does not even sound. Good to me i would. I would rather eat fruit cake with raisins. how dare you all good. They were living very comfortably as we can see. Sometimes they spent more money than the owner of collin street bakery. I mean that's what's weird. I mean sometimes he would out donate money to a cause. I think just to show up. Bob now that has to be towards the end. Well oh yeah. He got where he really wasn't even paranoid about being found out he was perfectly at ease and his found. Well he gotten away with it for so long. And so let me go back to that first year though because i want to tie this in to dentistry and how this the fact that we need to pay attention to things around us and you say this a lot of classes one time is not going to tell the story but you gotta look for things like that. And if i'm trying to steal from you susan. I'm going to do it once. And then just wait a little bit to see if i get us tickets. You know. that's that's the nassar when you do something wrong so it does start out like that and if you headed in the beginning. Don't you think that discourages sixteen million dollars worth of theft later. Yeah in fact when the owner started wondering why the bakery wasn't making more money they audited payroll but they didn't find anything and they did that for several years. It just wasn't one time because they were still losing money and they only thought about you know they've just were trying to find out where it was remember. During those years the economy took a hit and so everybody seemed to blame the economy for a short period of time during all of this but they added the payroll. They didn't find anything. And sandy tined his checks so that when the expenses would be normally more high so they wouldn't show up in any of.

Yeah yeah he spent eleven million dollars on a black american express card alone. Approximately net ninety eight thousand dollars a month. And you know. I said about neiman's. He spent one point two million dollars at neiman's in dallas where the had nicknames for their personal shopper had nicknames is he was fruitcake and she was cupcake cup cake. Yeah they have personal shoppers. They bought a forty thousand dollar mattress. Oh horsehair i read that. I've never even heard of that. Had you heard of that. I was going to say is a texas thing and when i read that i gotta ask susan what this crazy thing is. What is a horse. Here may never heard of it before. I'm thinking horse here. "These employees that steal their they. Embezzle the funds see what everybody else top is making in believe they should be making that same amount and they rationalize it by saying things like that. I worked so hard the about just took out of my mouth. He was working really hard long hours. So why should he not be paid as much as the executive after all he wanted. Nice expensive things too. So yeah and he started by taking money from the petty cash. How many times we heard that. Yeah absolutely. I hear that a lot and in fact there are definitely dennis out there who don't even keep petty cash or take cash anymore because they've been burned so yeah i hear it so when no one asked about the missing money. Guess what he moved on. He deepened his pockets a lot. More quickly with fraudulent checks. Let me tell you. Hey did that. He would create a check for personal payment like he had a capital one card in so he would create a capital one payment in the accounting software and then he would print it and then he would void it in the software is if he destroyed the check right interesting but then he would mail that check to his capital one credit card so it would be paid but then he would create in the accounting software another payment for the same amount to a valid vendor using the check number of the voided check that was sent but he never mailed that check and so when it hit the bank. It looked like it was that check that hit the bank. Maybe like paying for goods that they didn't really order but because it was a vendor that they would recognize the name they wouldn't question it right so like the a forty forty thousand dollar check going to capital. One then became a forty thousand dollar check. Go into the navarro pecan company. Where they buy their cons. I know that. Because i live in a pecan orchard. We used to sell pecans to the never. Never oh Navarro navarro got good him. Say it right navarro. Never oh i don't know where they came from but navarro does does by collins anyways. according to court documents it began in december. Two thousand and four. Get out of this and over eight years. He wrote eight hundred. Eighty eight checks that total sixteen point six million dollars. Say that again..

"To lucky recipient relatives was collin street bakery fruitcake It was amazing. Now i'll tell you. I'm not not as much of a fan of the fruitcakes because they have raisins and i ever really really really really don't like raisins okay. I'm getting hungry now. So where is the collins is this bakery located. You're going to be horrible. i it's in corsicana texas. It started in eighteen ninety six and but has been owned by the mcnutt family since nineteen forty six and the embezzlement just wrought corsicana. Now tell you something a little kinda. Have a little bit of connection. Because i went to nevada college My first year out of high school and the guy that did the Embezzlement went to college so it could have been there at the same time. Don't know you. I'll tell you about another a little connection kind of towards the end but this the story has fascinated me since it's come out in fact. Did you know that there's a movie. The pink films now will ferrell is playing the lead of sandy jenkins and so i could see that and i will put a link in the show notes to the article that susan had sent me to kind of do the pre game i can see well thorough laying this. Oh yeah oh. And i can't remember who's gonna pay his wife it'll come to me. Look it up on talk. sandy johnson. Jenkins is the one that he started working as a payroll specialist and they need advanced to corporate controller in he worked there from february nineteen ninety eight through june twenty first two thousand and thirteen so he was there fifteen years long employed. Yeah and he didn't start stealing when he started working there. When he started working his salary was about twenty five thousand and when he became controller his annual salary was about fifty thousand so interestingly enough considering our prerecorded conversation by all accounts he was an extreme introvert who cared deeply about what others thought about him and his status in the world..

Computer Crime Law Scrutinized at Supreme Court

"Finally today there was an interesting tech related case that was argued before the. Us supreme court yesterday it involves a nineteen eighty-six computer crime law that has been used ever since to prosecute hackers and internet activist than the like people have been arguing strenuously that the law is outdated and indeed as justice gorsuch said in yesterday's court hearing the us government's interpretation of the law risks quote making a federal criminal of us all and quote. And yes if you're wondering this is indeed the so called. Aaron swartz law quoting politico. The supreme court on monday indicated serious reservations about the ambiguity and scope of the nation's only major cybercrime law hinting. It may narrow the law's applicability to avoid criminalising acts such as checking social media at work during arguments in a case involving a georgia police officer convicted of violating the nineteen eighty-six computer fraud and abuse act by accessing a license plate database. The justices pushed a justice department. Lawyer to explain how a ruling in the government's favour wouldn't open the door to prosecutions of innocuous behavior those could include browsing instagram on computer or performing public-spirited security research to test a system for vulnerabilities as the first see. Faa challenge to reach the high court. The van buren case generated amicus briefs from a wide range of technology privacy and cyber security experts. Most of them on van buren side a group of cybersecurity. Experts described the faa a sword hanging over the head of researchers who probe computers for weaknesses with the goal of helping their owners fix the flaws. The most controversial ever see faa case never reached a verdict. In two thousand eleven federal prosecutors indicted the prominent internet freedom activists aaron sorts on hacking charges for downloading millions of journal articles using a subscription provided by mit swertz. Then twenty four face thirty five years in prison. He by suicide in january twenty thirteen while awaiting trial. The justices sounded alarm. Monday about the broader reading of the cfe. A justice neal gorsuch suggested that the van buren case was the latest example of the government. Trying to broaden the scope of criminal laws incontestable ways several justices expressed uncertainty about the definitions of key terms in the law such as authorization and they spent a significant amount of time asking both lawyers about the meaning of the word so in one part of the statute quote. What is this statute talking about. When it speaks of information in the computer justice samuel alito asked finding in at one point. All information that somebody obtains on the web is in the computer in a sense. I have a feeling. That's not what congress was thinking about when adopted this law. I don't really understand the potential scope of the statute without having an idea about exactly what all those terms mean li added. The justices also sought more clarity about the consequences. That fisher argued would result from abroad. Reading of the faa alina. Ask fisher to explain how the would criminalize one of his example scenarios. Wait on dating website. Fisher responded that by receiving interested messages from potential romantic partners based on falsified. Wait the user would be obtaining information from a computer in violation of the websites terms of service and also thus these cf a similarly fisher told justice elena kagan checking instagram at work constituted obtaining words and pictures from ones instagram feed and if a company prohibited social media browsing on computers obtaining that information would also violate the cf a bike contravening the employers policy and quote

"To save up to one million from CFE which is around two thousand US dollars my parents do not always have the means to support me which is why I learned to be resourceful at a very young age they do not understand why I was so driven to become a writer I don't when my mom came across me writing she was sit down with me on C. you want is your writing no my want to marry you trying to be like your mates I understood why my parents filled out we they were concerned because writing is an unusual path to follow especially for a woman in my cultural regardless I I knew what I wanted and I wanted to be a writer I am the sort of person who believes that hard work and determination can get you anywhere in life when I had saved up enough money the first thing I did was to rush to a printing house with a lot of excitement the manager of the printing house give me these dolls leukocyte she wrote a novel what's it about I said it's a coming of age story exploring the life of a young girl not all the west African boarding school he said while I would love to work with you but you see company law does not allow me to enter into a contract we do one without a meal with these entities I was confused I said I'm not I am I said I wrote the book I don't have the money to pay for the cost of printing so what are you talking about first of all there are no laws in Calhoun that prohibit women from visiting themselves the assets in the new rules that state that one needs email representatives in order to sign the contract but this guy was adamant that he said I am sorry this is just the way that things I don't need to be doing business clearly the hobby own special set of rules it was not enough that I had written the book and see if the money I needed a mon to sign my contract for me we argued for awhile I did I got angry and I left and I kept saying to myself that if you know what we want to work with me that I was going to find another printing house that was willing to having someone else's name on a contract that was supposed to be about my hard work would have taken away my sense of accomplishment so I pushed on but two months for printing houses on four rejections Leica I started to doubt myself I started to wonder if hard work and determination was actually what he took to get anyone ahead in life and I felt as if I was I had overestimated myself and then one day I confided in a friend of mine I said to him this whole thing is giving me a headache maybe bringing the mon to sign the contract will be easier for me he said before you give up I know these are the options you house that I want you to try the place he was suggesting was very far and I was reluctant to go on I do not think that I had the stamina to withstand another new but I decided to give it one last try I had to take a six audibles right from the northwest region to the central region of Cameroon no that's fine these please I arrived in the morning it had rained and the road was wet and slippery as I walked up to the building where the printing house was when I when I knocked I heard someone say come in I pushed the door open I'm sitting behind the desk was a woman I had gone there expecting to find Iman when I was taken by surprise when I saw that the proprietor told the police was a woman how he's looked more like our living room the place smells like food under three little children playing with toys on the floor she was yelling on trying to feed them I immediately started thinking to myself what she's a woman maybe she'll help me but my idea of how the world works hi chief deadly with other also stop myself from hoping to March in case she said no when I sat down just wants it to me welcome my daughter what can I do for you I said I wrote a novel and I want to print she looked at me and said he wrote a whole novel by yourself but you're so young I would love to work with you but in order for that to happen you know that you need a month to under the contract for you right and then she went on to tell me that her husband had just passed the we that is the reason why she was in charge of the business also how soon was my choice to take over I was in tears when I said to this woman I said look you are a woman like me you of all people should understand why I'm reluctant to have someone else speak for me this is my dream and I want my name on my contract I had hoped to appeal to our emotionally but she still ended up seeing no so I stood up and I walked to the door I don't remember a time in my life when I felt more defeated seriously considering giving up for writing rising vocal I was tired of choosing agenda clearly wasn't going to happen for me and then this one said zavier comeback I came back and I sat across from her she give me these intense look unsaid how you remind me so much of my daughter she saw stop on and then she said we have never signed a contract with the woman before but I will make an exception for you it took me awhile to digest how meaning and when I did I was filled with all these emotions that made me smile and cry at the same time could not believe that it was finally happening I honestly cannot remember anything you want said after that my hands were shaking when she reached into a drawer and brought out the printing contract for me to fill out and sign I know that my story does not compare to signing a book deal with the known publisher well for someone like me considering where I grew up signing that printing contract was the first big step for me W. one's decision to go against company rules just to give me a chance when no one else will told me never to give up her actions don't meet that in addition to hard work and determination that we all need a hand every now and then my parents still don't get the most recently the stumbled across positive reviews of my novel and they seem to sprout this was six years ago on W. one zone runs a printing house now and I am happy to see that he now works with male and female writers under the rules and traditions are changing slowly but surely more women writers have the chance thank you.
