Chaos in New York over rumor that vaccine available

"Let's hear about the vaccine rollout, which seems to be getting worse. Not better. Sorry to say Marla Diamond is live on that Marla tell us about the latest confusion when people try to get their shots. Uh, well, wait. It was here at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, one of the city's 24 7 vaccination sites. It's quiet this morning, but there was not the case last night when people flocked here, Dude was social media hopes. Saying that they were handing out vaccine indiscriminately to anyone who showed up. They had extra vaccine on hand just wasn't true. That brought out at Kelly from Sunset Park. He tells CBS too. He could not make a reservation online. I've been checking to try to get in this site for a couple of days, and I never even see this site. I know what exists. I clicked on it, and then There's never appointment. And some who showed up had pre existing conditions. They are eligible for the vaccine. Some were wheeled here in wheelchairs by relatives. They were turned away. This man who is on oxygen showed up to Manhattan's pop up site. It was also turned away. People will die because of this center.

Iran set to further reduce compliance with nuclear deal

"Right here. This weekend International watchdog agency informed the U. N Security Council that Iran is advancing its nuclear program and for more we're joined on the case. CBS RING Central News Line by CBS News Foreign Affairs analyst Pamela Falk. Level of thanks as always, for joining us to what degree does this move get in the way of the bite administration's efforts to restart the 2015 Iran nuclear deal? It will get in the way and nice to speak with you, Jeff and Patti that Iran is clearly turning up the heat and that came in the form off the U. N watchdog agency, The International Atomic Energy Agency, confirming two world powers, the U. N Security Council. Another Iranian breach of the nuclear deal. Now that is that they are beginning twists, install equipment for the production of uranium metal. So this is new. And it would complicate plans for the incoming Biden administration. Which has said all through the campaign, and since they won the election that they hope to steer Iran back into compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal in the U. S got out of and bring the U. S back on board and every time Iran is Upping the ante, it becomes more difficult. What does Iran want out of this? What would it take for them to engage again in talks? Well, they've been pretty clear, Patty. What they want is the money first show us the money. What they want is the sanctions lifted first, and then they'll get back to compliance. What they say is Look, we made a deal and it was four years in the making with us, Germany, France, Britain and China, Russia and the European Union as well as Iran and what they what the deal Woz Woz, they would stop the production of their nuclear weapons. Sections of their nuclear facilities, and the world would lift the economic sanctions that prohibit all sorts of things in Iran and hurt their economy. What happened was the Trump Administration got out in 2018. They said, OK, fine will still stick with it. But then restrictions that kept going in from the United States made it much harder for the other countries, especially Western Europe to trade with Iran. And so they said, Look, you broke the deal. We're getting out. Now that it's very complicated because they're also bad, say factors on other fronts. In other words, aiding groups Hezbollah and Hamas attack Israel there they just this week tested more missiles. And what did new U. N. Ambassador of Israel Gilad aired on? Um said today was that he's calling for the security counter soul to me urgently. To craft concrete action on all of these activities, so what's happening is as they start to move back from the deal. Other countries they're starting to say, including Israel. Maybe other things should be in the deal because ballistic missiles were never rented their aid to is to these seas of Milan groups in the region. We're not in it. No, put everything back on the table, and that would make it very difficult. So they bite administration's gonna have a very tall task. You've got Secretary of State nominee Uh, Anthony Blinken ready to go on this in a very good Iran team. Where they would like to undo what the a chief said, which was, it's actually gotten more dangerous for Israel and for the world in the last four years, meaning under the Trump administration.

Now a CBS is Nancy Cordes tells us A Senate trial is next leader, McConnell said. I have not made a final decision on how I will vote, and I intend to listen to the legal arguments when they are presented to the Senate. Those in favor say Aye. Those arguments will Likely sound a lot like what we heard in the house as members voted to impeach President Trump in the same chamber, where they cowered in fear one week ago. There must be consequences for last week's treason and sedition. All the Democrats voted to impeach plus 10 Republicans like Washington State stand new house There was a domestic Threat at the door of the capital, and he did nothing to stop it. Republican leader Kevin McCarthy agreed. The president was to blame but impeaching the president and C Such a short time frame would be a mistake. Others argued. Mr Trump didn't deserve the punishment. Is he a clear and present danger? And he clearly isn't but they were outnumbered. And now the resolution goes to the Senate for a trial that could start late next week.

"And services. So it's no surprise that cove nineteen has influenced new products being unveiled at the cbs. Show this week. We both them. Interesting products in the pipeline. Yeah there was a lot of fascinating stuff. They're focused on the pandemic. Obviously the masks were the most interesting thing to me For a couple of different reasons You had one smart mask called the air pop that tied to an app and it had a sensor on the mask that could monitor your breathing patterns but then also have a sense of what the irs around you And so the app would signal if you need. Change the filter Also just sit just keeps track of kind of your breathing. Data which i thought was a very fascinating. You also had this very interesting mask. Phone which is basically take a mask and then take wireless earbuds and put them together. And that's kind of sort of what this is so you wear the mask and then it has the earbuds attached. There's also a volume control on the mass kind of around where your chin would be. We can control the volume or he can play music And then lg had this really fascinating. Wearable air purifier. Which looks like a very just hardcore mass. It's a lot of half to it but it's basically an air purifier. That you wear on your face. That's interesting yeah. I remember seeing that one wilder mask. I saw Which is a prototype. You know prod convey concept right now is comes from gaming company razor which you know may initially made like gaming pc gaming peripherals and then controllers and now makes pc's and all this other stuff. They came up with a smart mask. That's called project hazel and it actually has. It is clear plastic so people could see. Your face has lights inside so light your face if it's dark outside so people can see with your smiling or frowning or whatever it has a has an amplifier so your voice can be heard so it gets rid of the muffling stuff and then it also has lights on the side that i think it has sixteen more than sixteen billion nope sixteen million different colors which covers about every color. I would know anyway. I don't think. I need a billion but it could be like green and red and all kinds of shades. You know because is very into customization and color on their products so it looks like this mask thing is going to be here to stay for a long time and companies are making. You know cooler masks and more intense masks for people who are going to want that the only thing i worry about the razor masochism. Am i going to have to sell drivers on this or do i. Are there other related. Or i have to have with this mask. I hope not. Maybe they'll have built-in wifi. And i'll just do it when you know.

It'll be like if i'm with someone. I don't know i feel like i have more of the romantic fantasies. Look i'll be thinking about kissing and then i'll think about usually it's oral sex so would you say man going down on me usually his people pleasing me. Yes my fantasies yeah. Would you say though that do you fantasize actually more when you do have a partner or when you don't have a partner i would say that when i have a partner and it's new i fence about got them in the beginning and i think i'm mostly in my life have gone through periods of fantasy. It depends on the day fancy and and just breath so i would say it doesn't fluctuate with partner but at different times in my life. We'd washing yes because i personally being an explorer of the space have noticed c._d.'s popping up in everything you can get it in lot autozone the fucking corner in my house the copy of its everywhere and i've even had some c._b._d.'s sponsorships and if i'm being honest i kinda don't really know what it is yeah. So can you explain to us what is c._b._d. What are the benefits of it. And how do you use in your products and then we can go through all all your staff sure yeah so after working in pharmaceutical advertising for as long as i did. I'm very hesitant to make claims about anything. That's a very good <hes> disclaim. This claim yeah just because you know there's still a lot of research <hes> that still needs to be done and most of it is anecdotal. There are some studies being done. <hes> there's still a long way to go in that space and that's why i feel very strongly that it's my responsibility to help to elevate and move the industry forward as a whole. This isn't about me and my products. This is about incredibly healing plant medicine that can help people in so many different ways and we were just starting to scratch the surface on that so c._b._d. Is something thing that i didn't really know much about a couple of years ago. So when i was in my early twenties i flipped my car three times. Oh yeah it was really crazy. I was almost killed and i they have a lot of neck and back problems because of that and you know every few months or so the same thing. I'd throw my neck out. I'd go to the doctor. They'd give me the percocet they'd give me the flexible that whole thing and i went to a new doctor at cedars and you know i was in excruciating pain barely move and she gave me me those prescriptions and she said i want you to stop at men and get some c._b._d. Oil on your way home because i think it'll really help them so i got some c._b._d. Oil it was like a combination asian of c._d. Of little bit of t._h._c. and it totally changed my life. I could move my neck in like ten minutes. After taking it. It was wonderful. I didn't even end up filling the prescriptions for for like the narcotics yeah. It was really unbelievable and i mean when i tell you i had excruciating pain. It was very very debilitating. <hes> so that's how i got into it and so the way that c._b._c. works is that everybody has an endo cannabinoid system in their body right yeah. Everybody knows that but it's you know c._d.'s in a lot of naturally occurring things like celebrities and breast milk. Actually yes so basically when you use c._b._d. Orally or topically interacts with your endo cannabinoid system which can help relieve pain. It can help with stress again. Don't wanna be making claims.

"What about the women who just want to be successful in the industry industry in their business. You know they're looking for men to and we don't know who i'm sorry. Go hit my back now. Just who who said that we we are upset about these groups that men are upset about these women no. I'm sorry you referred to the article that you ran and again. I spoke. I agree with you that this article was incorrect. I appreciate it but i still i mean i don't get c b or myself. I just wonder who said that you know l. Black men don't agree with these women. I mean i agree that if a woman. I only thing that i'm saying is if they're going to say they were c._b.'s point of educated black women. I feel like they deserved. I don't agree with that but at the same time. I think that if that is the case then people need to look at their demographics they need to look at what where are you meeting. These people where you meet in these men you know that that that you are doing what he made a good point. Allow these women. They messed with a bunch of you know almost i. I don't see i feel like i'm. I'm judging all win the by saying that but a lot of fun i i just wanna. I wanna take us back a few sentences because you said who said i didn't and that's a lot of communication between black women and black men. Come tom. You never said you never said you hurt me so because you never say and i've said this before this show. It's not that i agree. It's not the fact that we agree or disagree is the fact that i'd like to be hurt and recognize that that's all i'm saying about this article. This article is just saying can can you hear where black women are. Your women black. Women aren't like you know another planet. These are your women and your women are saying hey uneducated. I can't find love and i feel like the conversation with black man goes toward spock these bitches that they understand or or or they think because they have a degree they're better and i don't want that conversation to go there. I want to back and just really as a black man acknowledged. My women don't think and i care and that's something maybe you could work that. That's something that's a positive you can work toward instead of negativity saying that these these women don't get you understand what i'm saying like. I think there's another area we could look at it. Especially as the black man she's speaking of you all are great black men and i think the message could be construed to her and all women who are free with her. We have not forgotten about forgotten about you. We we hear you. We understand you what we're all in that like that and you can defend your plate but i think black women don't hear i hear you enough from there me and i think that's where the the line is drawn so again like i'm not sitting on the article i agree with the article. You're right but that's not fair to say but i also focused. Even in this conversation black middle validate their women. You ain't gotta tell me off right but you can say..

I had to go to the neighbor's house next door. I'll be back in a little bit. Mike why wait what were you going and so the siblings like hey maureen. How are you nice to meet you. Mike oh nice to meet you too like we want you to me. I want you to meet my spouse unlike your spouse and then this person comes on like hi i work space command also nice to meet hugh. I heard you have some footage. You have your laptop with you. Mike well <hes> yeah and i didn't know who space command was then to two and a half years ago at all so was not on my radar base command sure you want to see my pictures. I'll show you so. I'm like here's a picture. One picture to the video is this and who's just silence at first and all all of a sudden like this person's psych yup though suckers are real and he didn't this person did not seem surprised at all like i thought they would be like oh. Wow check that out. That's amazing you know. Could you describe those. It's almost like this person knew already about these things czar or of these things i it didn't seem to let rock their world. It's another day at the office. The only thing that they were very adamant about is like you will not speak about this. You will not talk about this and we want copies of. Y'all your footage asap smell this demand. Did you comply straightaway. No i did not because i wanted to find out who who they were more about. Whatever and so i started i dragged my feet <hes> through the remainder of <hes> because this is like a mid january so like by the end of january <hes> i still i i i dreaded out. I sent them the pictures but not the video near adamant about wanting the video. I thought about the video. The video isn't that great right. I mean the video has audio. That's important and shows all you know the movement against the wind being smooth and all that kind of stuff but objects are just this little fuzzy blobs and everything in the video because of the whole tracking problem so just i the time i didn't think of it as being that important but then at the same time the fact that they thought it was so extremely important <hes> sort of have made me wary of handing over the last thing that i had so i dragged my feet on it and then at the beginning of february after numerous <hes> you know my my friend reaching ching out to me and the sibling reaching out all these people reg- you've gotta handover. They want the video. They want like fine fine fine. Just you know just throw up my hands and i i sent the video and i sent the video in one night. The next the next day in the morning of the next day my friend called me up and said that that person's sibling had frantically called that person from trot not trying to reveal gender names or anything here and said basically that that person had overheard their spouse and something called f one eight are heading your way and i'm like what are f one eight. What are you talking doc. What are you f one eight by one eight something like what are one eight and they're like. I don't know but they're heading your way. Am i okay whatever i go f one eight are heading my way and <hes> so i told my mom i told my brother. I know what they're talking about f. One eight it just didn't i didn't make a connection and and then it was just all of a sudden like down the last of the paradigm shift sort of hit it just like a cold slap on the face because all of a sudden my mom's screaming <unk> our marin come in here a quick quick. "To talk about it and the truth is I'm learning just by sharing my truth. I've helped so many people that people come up to me all the time. Do I watched headstrong man. It was so inspiring and if you read the reviews we've got not one bad review but everyone I didn't expect this. The bugler people are telling me it's important. It's changed their lives and and after a couple of months now I'm starting to feel like you know it really is important because now I I WANNA do my part to address the concussion situation which isn't just sharing my stories and awareness also working on developing a line of C._B._D.'s that can protect the brain and <hes> be able to talk a lot more about that in the near future but that's one of my very important project said it's going on but I'm always willing to talk about my experiences. I mean nonfiction is easy. It's already happened in. What do you WanNa know? We'll let me ask you something. You've had a thirty thirty plus your wrestling career and I want to stay on the topic of concussions. You WanNa talk about your your broader careers well but compared. It feels like around the time you you would have gotten into the industry at that point. You Get your Bell Rung you show up and then you keep keep keep working and that that seems to have I don't know I don't know that it's changed but it seems like the awareness like you've mentioned around. concussions has changed and yet recently. We had an e w event where cody Rhodes took an unprotected shot to the head what what needs to be done within the wrestling industry and does this awareness that people talk about. Is it really changing things like what have you seen over your time. I believe yes <hes> the awareness is super important. I think that that is the the one thing that we can all do is be aware because <hes> the more aware we are <hes> the more people are talking about the more studying. We're going to be able to do the more we're going to be able to learn about it. <hes> I this. This may seem way but let's compare parrot marijuana prohibition years ago <hes> they said it's it's poisonous. It'll kill you. It's toxic. It'll make you violent evil for I mean that was back in the thirty seven so for all these years they just don't talk about it now recently as they're starting to legalize it and it's getting because it was illegal to even test marijuana you couldn't grow it to test it for years. I mean in nineteen ninety. There was a lawsuit against the institution of Medicine. That's been suing because you they don't let anyone study marijuana now. In the last few years we're learning all kinds of things that marijuana can do for people and I knew most of it anyway but now we're learning to separate the different components in the plan of the C._B._D.'s the C._B._N.'s. B._B._N.'s the C._B._G._B.'s from the T._H._c.. It's like it's all about awareness and you've got to keep the conversation going when we can do that with brain injuries and we can we can talk about it. We can learn more pretty soon. We can have have cures and they are showing certain lines of of the candidate dials are actually effective in regenerating brain tissue. That's already died off and I mean that's going to help with Alzheimer's..

"I don't think C._B._D.'s working for me again. That's where asking your therapist more questions about. How come we're amusing C._B._D.? And S._A._B.. Dec Bt of why are we using this approach. You know what made you choose this approach. What other approaches do people sometime in use to treat what I'm dealing with asking those kinds of questions <hes> and if you are doing your own research and you find something else that you think is interesting to you? Bring it to you therapist. If you're like oh I heard of this thing or I came across this article this kind of treatment <hes> or this technique and you know I'm really curious. If this is something that you've heard of or if you think it's something that would be helpful to me and opening the door for that conversation station <hes> because a huge part of counseling is you feeling empowered to make these decisions and to be included in your treatment <hes> <hes> it's it's so so so so so important <hes>. I hope that that those tips make sense <hes> another question with working with a therapist was at I I had a bad experience with a counselor. When I was younger any tips for going back so I actually I see this all the time where people have gone in the past they've seen a therapist and it was just terrible? They rather forced to go or the therapist did not get it at all <hes> mm-hmm and it can feel very <hes> daunting. Even if you hadn't experienced it priors you just go to one session and it felt like this person was super. Weird didn't connect at all and then it'd be like I don't I wanna go back to do this. This is just too much like I was super vulnerable and then this person didn't even get it. Why would I want to put myself back in that and this is where I like to compare it almost like making friends as an adult because while there are very very specific boundaries in counseling staten this still there is a layer of friendship where you know it's it's? It's this report that you build with a with this professional counselor player so it's like yeah you go out. You're making friends house an adult. It's really weird to do some people. You're like Oh. I loved doing this with them. But then we went into this other thing and they they were so weird and then you're like Dr Vibe or you know you make a friend and then they hurt you in the near like no that doesn't work but that doesn't mean that you don't ever go on to make any other friends ever again same thing with dating and go on a bad day. Does that mean you're that you don't go on any other dates ever again. You might take a little break. I fine but I would caution you to not let it deter you from ever. We're going back to see anyone ever again and in terms of actually how you go back I think you really have to remember here and remind yourself and maybe even talk through this with a friend where just because it didn't work out. One therapist doesn't mean it's not gonNa work out with the next one and that it's okay because not every counselor and client relationship is going to be a good match <hes> and it's unfortunate but sometimes it does take a few <hes> and again that goes back to what we talked about in the previous section of you know being dedicated to that and saying I want this help so I'm going going to be in control treatment. I'm going to make sure that I get that treatment and again it in terms of tips for going back. It really does also depend because people's experiences could be so specific <hes>. I'm really always chocolate coming coming up with good examples. I hope that these examples thus far have been helpful but tips..
