"Right now about whatever you think are the most important. Data series about our climate. Uh, it's not warming up like it was forecast to We have everyone every every several years. The Department of Energy collect Pretty much all the computer models, general circulation models for climate around the planet, and there Last that was done in 2013, and in that one, you could run them backwards to 1980. You could see that they predicted warming now would be about 4/10 of a degree Celsius per decade. They extremely over predicted warming. Except of the 102 model runs that were out there in this data set. There is one that got it right. And we I think we need a special prosecutor. You know why It's the Russian model, and the Russian model has less warming in it than all the others If the Russian models mimicking reality, while the other ones are are are not What's the responsible course and making a forecast? You follow the model that works. That's what happens every day with the daily weather forecasts. There are a lot of global weather forecasting models that are available to the forecaster, and they don't just take them and take all of them and average them up. And come with the forecast. No, they look at the one or ones that might be working in this particular weather situation. That's called best scientific practice. But what our government does and what the world's governments do and what world government does, which would be the U N I. P. C C. They take all the models. Which are obviously an error on average and the spread of all the models, and that's how they generate their forecast of climate. And their error bars. They don't Specifically emphasize the Russian model, because if they did, the issue would fall apart. It's too cool. Wow. New thing of models has come out. This is this is the really cool part the sixth generation of all these models and they're even warmer. In the last one. And the Russian model. The new version of it called I and M. C C M. 4.8. Is even cooler than it was before. And it gets it right. Mean that scientific practice you go with what works. Non scientific nonsense. You do what the UN and the US.

"Was huge. Definitely top 10, probably top five. At least I wouldn't think very, very big. I would imagine you. This is one of my favorites. I think her vocal on this. I could understand why one of mine too. You can really hear Karen's voice. It's just just the way it's produced. Just near perfect. Pretty amazing. All right, so let us focus on the job market this morning. Yeah, That's what the markets you're focusing on. Economists expect us strong report from the Labor Department just about seven minutes from now. They think it will show that about one million jobs were added last month, pushing the nation's unemployment rate down 2/10 of a percentage point to 5.8% little bit of debate as to whether blowout report would be really good or really bad for Wall Street. We're getting to that point, Maybe where Good news for Main Street is bad news for Wall Street will see you can never win, Can you? You know if the report is too strong, then they start worthy. Investors start to worry about what the Fed might do. Tightening monetary policy, of course. If it's not strong enough, and they worry that the economy is not recovering properly. All right, so let's talk about travel, and Expedia has some information. Yeah, Their quarterly results were stronger than expected, Expedia says People are traveling again. CEO Peter Kearns says the travel industry is in what he calls a study in contrasts, He says there's been a surge in domestic travel to beaches and outdoor destinations, He says vacation rentals are strong, but demand for international and business travel and conventional lodging is still challenged. He says Tourists are not very interested. Right now in visiting major cities. Oh, all right. So here's Here's a conundrum. So what if you own a movie theater? But there's really nothing to show AMC could write the book on that Ted there they re opened most of their 600 theaters. AMC Entertainment says sold about $150 Million worth of tickets over the last three months. By comparison in its best quarter, which was two years ago. A M sees revenue was 10 times higher than that, all right, And let's talk about cash discounts because that that sounds pretty good. We have some small businesses bringing back these discounts because they're fed up with the so called swipe fees they pay every time a customer uses a credit or debit card. A lot of customers switched from cash to plastic during the pandemic out of sanitary concerns, And that meant more fees that cut into profits. The consulting firm C. M S P, I says he's the small shops pay. Could be 2.8% in stores and they can top 3% on lines are significant. Wow, definitely all right product recall. This is important. It is 200,000 kids, smoke detectors and combination smoke carbon monoxide alarms of being recalled. They might fail to sound on alert in a fire. They recall this for seven models of kid a true sense alarms. They were sold nationwide by Wal Mart, Amazon, Home Depot and other retailers. From May of 2019 up through last September. And I'm gonna assume Jeff that you're all tatted up. I'm sure you have, you know, just inked. From head to toe. No, no. No tattoos, no piercings. But a lot of people did the change that over the during the course of the pandemic. Lot of tattoo parlors closed, But many of the ones that survived are doing a lot of business. This, according to USA Today, Ah, one tattoo shop owner says he thinks some people are deciding to get ink because they're just bored. One owner says he was getting so many requests at one point that he had to turn off his business phone. What Really? Wow. All right. Maybe it's time to open a tattoo shop Jeff Bellenger from Bloomberg. "Our job is to help the eyes to try to figure out And to help our clients determine which which way the market is going to go over the short term and the other and the other ravage that we hold very sacred. Is that the crowd when that extremes Is always wrong. So a Z great Warren Buffett said, be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful. Another's greedy And we know when people are being greedy. There's several there. Several waste that greed and fear can be measured. Um One way is to look at the put the call ratio another way is to look at investor sentiment. And both of those are at extremes right down there literally off the charts. How did he tell what investor sentiment is? Especially sentiment? There's there's a couple of service out there. One of them that we use is the American Association of Individual Investors, and they come out with Serbia every Thursday, and they asked their members. Where do you think the market's gonna be a few months into the future or the bullish Paris or Or neutral and right now, um they're bullishness is very high. Bearishness is low. And but more importantly, if you look at the put the cool ratio you have You have that record record low. There are tremendous amount of calls that are being purchased and very few puts so resists. Very interesting. Let's let's elaborate on that a little bit. Let's go back in history. If you look at the tech craze, right? Ultimately, there was a huge crash in the late nineties early two thousands in tech right before that occurred. Would you say investor sentiment was very bullish or bearish? Right before the bubble burst. It was euphoric. Historically high levels bullishness was off the charts. You would have stocks that would go up. 345 10 fold within days. There was just here. A man is going on kind of kind of like what's going on right now, with stocks like game stops and AMC. BlackBerry stock. They're going up 2345 fold in a matter of a couple of days, and that's not only not healthy, it's not normal. It's not healthy and it It shows that there is excessive greed in the market, and we'll talk about. Let's talk about those stocks in a second for getting back to the tack crash, so given What your methods are at that time. If you would have seen extreme euphoria you would have been in cash is shorting the market because that fair to say it's fair to say that when you see euphoria, it's best to be in cash until, um, until the market begins to enter a state of the clients. Because a lot of times euphoria can last a lot longer than most people think right and to give an example back in 1999 1 of the stocks that I was trading was a stock like Qualcomm. I had purchased that person's the stock at $27. I sold it a few days later at I believe 76 $78 something like that. So double or triple my money. Ah, few days after that, that it was trading at over $800 when you have a stock going for being a 25 26 $27 going up to $850. That's a mania. Now. Anybody, uh, that would of began to have shorted that when he hit 100 or 203 100 get So you have to be patient before shorting because it could last a lot longer than most people think that I can. And if you begin to short too early, you're going to get really hurt. So you mentioned Gamestop name seeing some other companies for Gamestop is a brick and mortar. Video games cellar, right breaking mortars kind of out right now, although there was a huge supply for video games this year during covert that during the lockdown, um but then, uh, a man named Ryan Cohen, who started Shui and a very successful e commerce company, started accumulating shares and now is on the board and he's an activist, and he wants to make the company more e commerce. So There's a group chat on a site called Reddit called Wall Street Bets, and A Lot of those people are saying This could be a really good investment. Now that Ryan Cohen's evolve and they're going to switch the e commerce and the stock went from the third. It was actually around five in August. Too, You know, in the thirties recently and then this month it ran up to, I think 145 $150 and then on Wednesday, the 27th in overnight trading it hit 3 60. Okay. And so the story remains to be seen how that's going to end. But there's been an enormous short squeeze. So there's other stocks that are acting like that as well. And I guess it's one of the signs of euphoria. That you mentioned obviously, How does that translate to? What were the work that you're doing right now? Um, because of the euphoria, you're not investing long right now. It's just just so everyone knows. We often account of Charles Schwab that Pete gives us the signals and we buy itself our clients based on Pete's recommendations, and since we started in September of 2019 It's up 40% Since that time versus 23 for the S and P 520 20. The strategy was up 19.14 versus 18 for the SNP, But the big difference is this account was never really down all year or as you if you bought the S and P 500, you had to endure huge decline, and then it came back and by the end of the year Had a nice year where with the peat strategy. We were in cash during that decline, and we actually were able to avoid it. And you know, we didn't make his much once the market was rebounding because we were more cautious, but We certainly had a decent year. Not not a great year for repeat standards, but you know, still slightly beating the S and P 500 where you didn't have to endure that big roller coaster now, if anyone is interested in learning about Pete Strategies, or, in fact, I know Pete offers a knee email to subscribers and some people pay $1000 a month for if anybody wants to receive that email, where Pete will give you his analysis and recommendation for three weeks at no cost. Text the word Spartan 2474747 text word Spartan 2474747. So, Pete Currently, you know, you are very cautious about the market talk about as of late January. What's making you be very cautious and what's making you potentially be bullish. What's keeping us cautious is there is there is a market time technique that is called the Elliot Wave. And there, Elliot Wave has five cycles that has 33 strong up upturned cycles to correct of waves. And, But the fifth way, which is the one that we've identified they were currently in is the most euphoric wave. And it is the wave where things get sylvian. Ridiculous, which they are now, just as you mentioned about James stock to, you know, think about we just said Stock one from $5. 2 300 or two over $350 in a very short period of time, Okay? And what I'm talking about a company that has found the cure for cancer but talking about a brick and mortar company That's gonna that's going to be transitioning supposedly To E comments so How? How much competition this game stop. Have lots. Ah, lots and lots. So this is that way? Five euphoria. It is very dangerous. There are a lot of people out there that are gonna get really hurt very, very soon. This guarantee, and we've seen this movie many, many times before. And they're always ends. Ugly is not this easy to make money where he's just throw money in companies that are that are just not viable or that are failing or that have very little to no profits. They're going from 5 to $350 within a very short period of time. Another one is a M. C. M. C went up within a couple of days. 5 600%. Was less time anybody wants for a movie? I don't know anybody. I again it. Did AMC just find the cure for cancer. No, it is its stock price is not warranted at these levels and the only reason why it is that these levels It's because you have the Robin Hood Day traders that think they're.

"Will of the people has been heard on the world of people has been heated. We've learned again. Democracies. Precious democracy is fragile. At this hour. My friends, democracy has prevailed. So I still get Texas say not my president. I get Texas say, boy love Lady Gaga and J. Lo singing at this thing, So it's all over the place. And does that surprise me? No, it's a Give or take a few percentage is a 50 50 Nation. Thanks for joining the show and listening today we obviously have live coverage for about an hour and 15 20 minutes of the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamila Harris. I should add Interesting moment I just witnessed as I was watching the monitors as the former vice president and his wife, The second lady and the current vice president and her second gentleman husband walked down the steps of the Capitol. I mean, interesting moment. Couldn't have two people more. Politically opposed in those two but still managed to pull together and walked on stuff together. This is kind of got a couple of phone calls, but I just want to read a couple of Texas. I got a ton of text that people are responding to my question. John. I do not like Joe Biden do not like comma Harris. My biggest one is who they will blame now that 45 is out of office. But as of January 20th is buying my president. Yes. Why? Because I'm American. I refused to act like a child. Like someone who claimed Trump wasn't there, President for the last four years, so I think vital. Be good President. No, don't want to see Biden fail. No, because I'm American. I don't want to see America feel I wish death upon by just because I don't like him. No again. I'm not like those who prayed for Trump's death for the last four years. Just because didn't like him. Why trust our government? Not a chance of fear of the next four years. I fear for our economy. I fear for small business owners. I fear for our health care. I fear for what's to come after these next four years. I hope and pray I'm wrong. One way to look at it. A couple quick tax will get to the phone lines as you burying Johnny on the line, Steve and then 262. I'm a die hard Republican by two. Like many Americans and feeling hopeful today. I wish nothing but the best for Joe Biden's presidency. Whoever I had my doubts as to how he's going to unite the party's for one, putting his $15 minimum wage bill into the covert relief package, Not a good start. In my opinion, A lot of people have said that Richard from Watertown. My vote was against Mr Trump, Not for Mr Biden. Interesting political choice. There was going to phone lines Berry calling from L Corn. Good morning barrier in the B. C. M. J. Good morning, Steve. I listen your show a lot, and I enjoy it. I like your middle of the road. Rational perspective. Appreciate them. I am a tooth. Yeah, I'm a two time Trump voter, and I'm fiscally conservative. I own a business I'm socially liberal on thinks I'm an American. I think Donald Trump had a lot of positive accomplishments. I'm happy that America benefited. I'm not a fan of career politicians at all, but I accept President Biden's victory. Um, I hope And I'm praying for him. I hope that he does well for America on by support him and I and I hope that we can come together in the country despite what we've seen. Do you think which I like to make sure I'd like to one more point. I would like to make a pitch to our legislative branch. Why? You have very little respect for way need to put Trump in the rear view mirror in the history books on impeachment. Continuing this is not going to do anything. They need to get to work for America. We need to get theater. We lose bury their lawsuit. Very. But the point is a good one. I think I was gonna ask you this question. Actually, I think the next three weeks are going to challenge us three weeks or beyond that, depending how long the impeachment trial takes. We will test that idea of unity. We will test that idea of sending our differences aside. And actually working together. I don't have A lot of optimism. That's gonna be the case. Here's the thing, though, and I said this before, when I was talking about this next few weeks. If what Mitch McConnell said yesterday. Is actually indicative of what other Republican senators are thinking. This could be over rather quickly, and it would be a So his call to the caller's point. Quick shutdown of any future political future for Donald Trump. And Unless you're really a fan of Donald Trump and want to see him running 2024 that actually my opinion would be a good thing for the Republican Party. Let's squeeze in Johnny here calling. Hey, Johnny. Yeah. Hey, Hey. Good morning, Steve. Hey, No. I listened to both speeches. Um, last night, the trumps, um, speech And then, um, uh, President Biden's speech, and I was impressed by both of them. It would be great, though, if you know the president's wrote their own speeches, but particularly key speeches like these, but I think I was impressed and You know, Um I just I wonder, though, um I don't think President Biden is frail and, um On and in ill health, as some have suggested some on the right of suggested he seems to have a lot of stamina..

"A week. It's not rocket science. It's my computer career dot e d u All right, 6 46 Brian comes is here and Vote today on a big development project. Yeah, we're talking northern part of over the Rhine. It's ah project that they've called Freeport Row. It's right at liberty and L'm. So if you look you know, two blocks north. There's Finley Market Two blocks south is Washington Park. And it's an area over the rhyme that hasn't seen the kind of development that we've seen back closer to town and a half from the new stadiums and you are right on the streetcar around. I mean, there's ah lot toe toe like developers say about this property. What they want to do now is they have expanded their plans for it, and initially, it was proposed is like 80 to 100 units building. Now it's up to 300 units that would be spread out through a couple of new buildings that would also incorporated a couple of the older buildings in the neighborhood that would be remodeled. And counsel today will take the vote yesterday. If if it's any indication, the Economic Development Committee of Council approved the project over the objections of a number of people in the neighborhood, including some of the community groups who are complaining because they think it it kills a lot of the affordable housing that's there in the neighborhood, and we'll drive more people out. Is it taking many buildings down? I thought they were incorporating them. But they said that I think there's like four existing buildings. That they're using, but they're not going to be used in the same way. Obviously mean rents are going to be anywhere from 1400 up to 2800 month. So that's the objection from the community Councils. It's $80 Million project, probably the biggest private development project ever. In that neighborhood and we've seen, you know tons of development already there a dollar figure attached to what's considered affordable. I'm sure there is, but I don't know. In fact, I'm back with pride here today because they guaranteed that 20 of these units would be subsidized. So whatever Whatever that subsidy would be, whether it's $800 or whatever. It makes the difference between paying the market rate for rent and the subsidized amount, But it could be interesting debate at City Hall. This is one project. That probably more than anything else. That's come up since all the council members were indicted. That could really swing on the people who have replaced. You know, Jeff, Pastor and mind and heart mpg Sittenfeld because you've got you know more conservative, more businessmen minded people who have been put on council We'll see how it goes. Somebody told me we sound nasty last night. Oh, right. OK, I know it was gonna come to that one day where you're just gonna be straight up called nasty. Why? You gotta be nasty because you're like a older guy. And you still, you know, appreciate the You know the beauty. You know the excitement you get from You know? I guess I am slipping into look crazy. A little creepy voice. Okay, let's get back on track. We have an action packed show tonight. Um and and it has just been thinking about this Two things hit me today when I literally said we have an action packed show tonight. Um, we're gonna have the second installment of our brand new legal segment with Tampa Attorney Moses DeWitt of just call mo dot com That's gonna be at 7 P.m. on Fridays. And immediately after we talked to Moe We do the mo better news, So I'm thinking. Why don't we just start calling Friday's Mo Friday Mm. And the only thing I would need to sandwich that with Is another a new most segment on Friday. Near the end of the show. Beer the week we're not doing that right now that time is it's still here and then we also We come right back at you. At eight o'clock. With Jr's crazy eight. And now I'm thinking Why isn't J r Krazy eight just eight stories? Mm. Yeah, like Bill is right in front of us. And then There's no time with Spike. But then that ain't right with Spike happens after that. So I don't know. I just felt I felt like that was Maybe some things that we could do to just kind of like hone in what we're doing, and then we have more Friday with which leads you into the weekend. And you wanna hear some more of MO It's the, um where you got the most way. Cat named Moshe. Oh, I was just like the mobile show No cat named MO show every Saturday from 4 to 6 right here. So it's almost like, you know, just kind of we make more Friday and then you know you just kind of slide in the Saturday Yeah. Just trying to brand a little bit more. You know, since we got all the money here we go. I felt I gotta admit some, uh more yarn about this. But About five Powerball tickets today, Um You know, I went hard. Well, I went hard on the lottery. Yesterday. I went hard on lottery. Now I have to take full disclosure. I did not set out to buy lottery tickets for myself. My dad hit me with It was like, you know, the lottery. You say it's up there, man. It's ah! What is it now? Mom? I know what's the current who would probably had about 650 Million and one and about 600. The other Tonight is the mega millions drawing. So get two tickets while you can. Okay, See, I didn't get no mega million's man. I got the Powerball. Yeah, I just got the Powerball. That's tomorrow. Okay, Well, what's the one tonight? The mega me? I don't know that. Yeah, Yeah. Yeah, you had after the show, Run out, Grab your mega millions. How much is that for me? What I mean, What do you get in price is the same thing you get. Do you get the the mega millions with the extra number? I forget what they call it, but I just go the extra number. And it's three bucks. You gotta be by $3 Take it. Okay. Okay. So right now, I do have, uh, five Powerball tickets, right? Right. Probably. Okay, So here's the thing My dad says, you know, statistically, you have no chance of winning. But for 640 million go get me five and I said all right on while when I went in there to get his five. I mean, I'm standing there. I might as well get five for myself as well. Then I put to the set. I mean, it's all gonna be the same. You know what I mean? Like, if he if he went to go in there and grab the ticket, right, Okay. I'm gonna put this out there. Case. Anybody listening? Always like, always liked you. Okay? Okay. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm I'm a buy you a new used truck. Okay, hold on. We gotta squelch this conversation right now. I'm the one that's been preaching the lottery to you since we met so first contained, you break off Need to come this way by my brother man. You know, I already got you all I got you, Spike. I got you and Mo I got you all right? And J r well, but but I got both of y'all after me and J. R C M a need I'm a need an assistant to travel the world with me so I can figure out what to do with my money. Yes. So J. R that pays where you know I can probably front you about 23 million, because, See, I need you to not be worried about money. All right, actually, so I could worry less. Nobody, but we're we're gonna hook you up. When we come back. You don't want the money I gave you before I leave. You want to get the money? I put you in a much better position going to play a couple of things. They're a couple of things. You don't put me on the same tier spiked A and b. I's my quote, J G went word my money, and I want it Now, when you get back, I want my money now, But listen, I'm okay. Me and you're gonna go pick up Careful. There ain't no, me and you, spike? No. Maybe this is why somebody gets shot when you count the money right there. Everything all right? You don't know leaving. Hey, no. But seriously, though, like a real conversation here, Um If I did win $640 million, I would. I would probably I would probably have. I would need a sedative. You know, like, I wouldn't even a quail Lucas. Like I would need something to keep me like low low energy. I mean, I'm in Tallahassee so I can I can run to the lot of office from here, right right where you are, And nobody even know you go like if I win, and all of a sudden I'm out of town for four days. And you know somebody in Florida wanted. Yeah, it looks suspicious. Let's suspect but you e could get there. And five e could get there in 10 minutes. Right now, I'd be knocking on the front door with the mask on Get me my money on And then when they bring me my money, I know they don't bring the money, but They bring me my money. If the lady don't have a mask on, I cuss a lot and then leave and then they'll probably know they're probably know I wanted When I go, I'll go rip the marching 100. I've never seen him going through my neighborhood playing, and that's the first thing that's the most Tallahassee thing You can do. How much money most do you know? Oh, you about that was about go ahead. You and ask the question, legitimately. How much money do you think? Would give you like you go. This is thank you. This is a This is a decent amount. Well, I was going to give you a figure that I thought I would be old. But if you want to go that no, no, I want to know a legit figure where we would both be in agreement. Like you say, This is a fair amount that if the world knew if the world knew that I want $640 million And they say you gave a cat named Mo X Amount all man, that's that's that's pretty good. Seeing as I have been preaching the advantages of playing the lottery gave you afraid you can't win. If you don't play kept the blood never heard. Let me write that down. You can't win. If you don't play, I would walk away with zero animus,.

"Gonna go switch gears. We got to talk about some of the market activity that we're already seeing this new year, including once again, an active market to take companies public. Amazing. Just a couple weeks in right, Tim the 2021 I po market, often runny. We cut up With Bloomberg News deals. Reporter crystals see to hear about the activity. We we really are saying the yet with very, very sizable on high profile IPO's just this week, we have seen at least six companies when public in New York on that includes Petco, and that includes a firm posh Mar. A lot of them are consumer facing companies. We have seen a bunch of technology companies went public. Laid in the quarter. But let it be consumer attack. 2021 is going to be a year of another record year, potentially for IPO's. We already have seen, you know, certain companies come out and say that they have either confidentially found or engaging advisors on listings, so not only that we are potentially going to Seymour directly saying given there now. Able to raise cos I would raise a proceeds from from these transactions. So all in all, it's gonna be a big year for E. C. M. For capital markets on bit's The best is one of the best start in the year. That was seen s Oh, yeah. Petco and Theodore options really help them in terms of growth, And it's not just a short term, um, actual term boost in revenue or in business that they're gonna see. People who adopt during the pandemic are going to have the pet for the next decade or so, And that really helped him and it's the same train that they see in the suburbs and in cities. Um so in terms of extension, um millennials, getting pets and covert definitely have been a driver. Echo a name that's going public for a second time and with a great ticker. We're talking about Petco Health and Wellness, which follows the pop prints of chewy, which went public last year and bark expected This year via SPAC. Let's not forget that Julie was a cover story at Bloomberg Business Week. I mean, it's all about everybody's pets. I do want to say, though, that the owner of the animal supply chain store Petco Man, they raised 864 million in that I po. Yeah, a lot right, and it returned the retailer to the public market 15 years after it was taken private. The company, which is changing its name to Petco Health and wellness Company, in conjunction with the listing sold 48 million shares for $18 each No. After the I P. A Petco will continue to be controlled by its current owners that includes CVC Capital Partners and Canada Pension Plan Investment board. They acquired Petco for 4.6 billion from TPG and Letter Green and 2016. A decade after those two firms took Peco private. It's one of those Harvard Business School's case, but it is I got to say yes, absolutely is. It also speaks to the cycle of this stuff, right public private, private public right, which we see a lot and in the process. Everybody's making a lot of money along the way we could. Up with Petco CEO Ron Coughlin and of that ticker, by the way, Let's get back to that. It's w 00 F wolf. Let me start with what hasn't changed. That hasn't changed is the mission of the company to really improve the lives of pets? Pet parent has always been in the hearts. Of the folks who work at Petco. But what's changed is we really retooled the business. Instead of being a big bag of dog food in a cart type company. We really become a complete partner for the health and wellness of a pet parrot, and we're really the only ones that can do that. Because we're the only ones who have a veterinary hospitals. Training, grooming that they online and the mass players don't have we have the highest and food with on Lee, retailers said. We're getting rid of artificial ingredients getting rid of shock collars. And then we have strong e commerce and our stores, which are now called pet care centers that Maura um or are working together. So here's an amazing fact for you 80% or e commerce orders are getting fulfilled. Who are pet care centers, which just gives us faster to the customer and lower costs versus competition, Right? You don't have to have these huge what massive distribution centers. We call that right? We call these micro distribution centers. Yes, and it really gives us a competitive edge. We talked about it as forward deployed inventory. Ron, I gotta say, I love dogs got my dog scout. She's quite the spoiled little critter. But what's interesting is that I've talked with the CEO of two. We follow this sector because it has really exploded. We have definitely seen it take off. Where's the most growth? Is it the healthcare side of it and the pet care centers? Is that it? Is it merchandise? What is it? So you're seeing explosive growth and services. So that's where we're putting a lot of effort. We're building out the fastest. That network build out in history really focused on The affordable vet care. 70% of pests don't get the care they need because of affordability. So we're rolling out 70 that hospitals a year, so that's a big growth area. And the other growth area is around digital. And that's where you know we were growing 20 to 30% before Cove it and we're growing 90% last quarter in our digital offering, So you're seeing that competitive it Competitive advantage Come through. Listen, we know the pandemic. I'm sure you've asked been asked this question A million times have forgive me. The pandemic led to people Adopting a lot of pets I know is I walked my dog over the last year. The streets were kind of littered with you could see the various, you know, pet retailer's e tailers boxes. Everybody was buying things for their pets argue at all concerned that as we all eventually get back to work that maybe that focus on our pets changes. Yeah, So, So first we have 3.3 million new pets in America today. Based upon what happened in covert and people needing a little more joy in their lives and those adoptions, and those need to be said they need to be groomed. They need to be trained and they're going to be vaccinated so that provide the lift the entire category in terms of change of behavior. The good news is more and more companies and plays or talking about working from home, so that should be good and more more employers are becoming dog friendly, so we don't anticipate and his history says There's not a lot of, you know returns if you will with live pets, so and if if you know where we actively try Tol, make sure that pets are put in homes. Peco Foundation Save 401,000 lives a year from euthanasia, and we're dedicated, trying eliminate euthanasia, so We're gonna be a catalyst for making sure that nothing bad happens. Excited, responsible pet ownership. That's the thing that I think you know, everybody needs to know about because that is going to help you in your cause there. Hey, brick and mortar. How important is that? Like I do you guys think about That you need to have to some extent, some saturation almost like a Starbucks where people if they're moving around, they need something for the pets that they see Pepco's everywhere. How important is that to the business story for you guys? You know, we're comfortable with our footprint will. What I will tell you is our brick and mortar pet care centers are absolutely sources of competitive vantage. You think about it right? They are the salons for pets. They're the hospital for pets and even the schools for peds s O R services make you know we get much more utilization than your traditional retailer..

And but the judge closed the case, saying he wasn't the father. Is that right? I went to court and told the judge that my attorney sold himself to the other party and that I would like to continue with the case by myself and the judge said. Let me read your case, and I'm gonna take it home because he heard the case. Okay. All right. So we have to make us a little quicker. You're taking a long time. They have short attorneys against me. So I went to the judge and I said to the judge, why would they hope it is like, Why would they have four attorneys against you to establish Edna proof? There's a daughter out there for guys been in a convalescent home for decades. What? Why is it so important with money? There was money. How much was how much he left a lot of count. $5700 in cash for attorneys, okay? All right. And then the attorneys And how did you get out? By the way? How did you How what relationship do you have with this child? Well, at the beginning. I thought he was my concept, All right, But he's not. So what relation? How did they let you go into court? Who are you? I don't know. But somebody who defend somebody's right you don't have you don't have. That's not you is that I went and I wrote, I wrote emotion. I brought everything I went to the California but also say I did all that about myself. Wow. And they let you in the court. Okay, So what was the joke? Okay, So what did the judge say? I made a mistake. The next time we have a motion the next time we had an appointment, I made a mistake. Why don't we just scared and I pull out? OK, So you went through the cake batter me for pulling out because the judge was gonna punish them All. Okay, So now let me throw a country s O. The judge dismissed the case. Is that correct? The judge. Just let them have the money and he was very angry at me for pulling out there than you did. The judge dismissed the case. Yes, they did. They did they did. The judge dismissed the case with prejudice or without prejudice. Bill. I don't know that that doesn't help me. None of that. None of this helps me, unfortunately, because none of it makes sense. Right where you actually can walk into court and your attorney gets bought off and joins the other side. And, uh, I mean, it's just it's It's impossible for that to happen and great story, But I have no idea where you're.

"An urban pie, then stay tuned for our reminder to put it in the oven. Sodas. Kickoff ready. Palermo's Pizza, Wisconsin's hometown pizza and proud partner of your Green Bay Packers. Where is your level of concern about this football game this afternoon, and I think you're concerned can lie in a couple of different areas. It could be playoff seeding. It could be injury related. It could be matchup related. There's a lot of different areas right Could see Packers fans just feeling the heebie jeebies about this game at 3 25, despite the fact that the Packers will be playing post season football, Let's go down to Rockford, Illinois, where the peaches grow lovely this time of year and talk to Tom Tom. You're on W C. M Chase opening drive. Yeah, I got two concerns. One is, uh, you remember Brian belong there used to be off. I don't know if you play the same position, but he was so injury prone. It was terrible. He's still playing on a team this year. Brian Malaga, Ryan Balog out of Iowa. Remember him? I remember Brian Blogger for sure issue charge right now. Yeah, He's a Los Angeles charger, but I think he was for quite some time. Bok Tower isn't It's on very unfortunate that happened if they play full, full steam in there Thursday. Practice you would think not know. And Tom like that. We appreciate the call Tom. And I think you know Matt before explain this in his availability late this week after the Bachtiar injury happen, that it was just a flukey thing, And sometimes that happens and it's unfortunate with knees, but, uh, you know, Matt before said it was nobody's fault. It was a non contact thing just kind of happened and terrible timing for the Green Bay Packers. Not just because you know you're calling up against the tremendous front seven with Khalil Mack and Akeem Hicks and Robert Quinn. And you know the list goes on and on and on today, But you know to have this happen and have to reshuffle your entire offensive line. Just ahead of the playoffs is not something that anybody wants to do. Let's take a look at some of these playoff seeding scenarios here. The easiest one for the Packers is very simple. Beat the Bears. You're the number one seed in the NFC. No questions. Asked. Now, if you somehow lose to the Chicago Bears, and we won't rule that out because the bears were playing for their playoff lives is well, let's just go through some hypotheticals. The Packers would still be the number one overall seed. If Seattle loses to San Francisco in Arizona this afternoon. Now, obviously, the Niners are playing those games in Phoenix because they've been outlawed from their own stadium. But San Francisco I mean, they're a team that's been banged up all year, but they've got George Piddle back now. That's a dangerous opponent for the Seattle Seahawks, not out of the room, a possibility that the Niners could knock off Seattle in week 17 here, the other situations that could happen for the green gold. If you lose and the Seahawks win, and the Saints won as well, this is the worst when the Packers drop all the way down to third, and that doesn't necessarily affect you as much in the first round because your first round opponents in the second or third, she would probably be the Rams without Jared Goff for the Bears again. But where you really run into trouble is in the second round, you may be forced with going to Seattle, which has been a house of horrors for the Packers. And then you know in the NFC championship game, going down to New Orleans to taking on Alvin Camaro and New Orleans offense that's really potent and then the defense that quite frankly, I think it's under talked about. It's one of the best defense is in the NFL that New Orleans has this year, so the road gets more difficult. Obviously, if you have to go on the road, The one other situation is that you know they could end up second if they lose. Seattle wins. And these saints lose to Carolina. That I believe is the least likely scenario today, So there's your run down for seating for the Packers. Could be one could be, too could be three. The easiest route. Just take care of business and told your field and you get a week off and you wait for your divisional round opponent at Lambeau Field that two weeks from today. Coming up next. The Bear's been playing a heck of a lot better since getting smoked at Lambeau Field Little over a month ago. What's been so.

"Looking for quick profits to find out more. I've been speaking to Keith Bear, a fellow at the Center for Alternative Finance at Cambridge University's business School. Think their number reasons, but probably the most significant one is the interest of institutional investors in Bitcoin as an investable assets at the moment, there are many examples of this and goes back. I think you're a two when some of the major exchanges like ice in the U. S. C. M E started providing facilities for trading Bitcoin futures more recently last year without institutions like PayPal Square hedge funds and others that are actually now taking significant interest in Bitcoin as message on this This new wave of money to some extent that is coming. There has that interest from institutional investors that are making a real difference. I think as far as the way that big corners tenacity is have perceived. Do you think this is something permanent or just fleeting Because of the extraordinary times we're in? I'm sure you heard the governor of the Bank of England. Cautioning about using Bitcoin, he said. It's hard to see the Bitcoin has what we tend to call intrinsic value. That's right. I mean, there isn't any, you know, asset, the banks Bitcoin in any sense, and it's largely driven by the price that people are prepared to pay for it. Of course, though, there is the way that they can works. There's inbuilt scarcity into the model itself. There are only ever going to be a maximum of 21 million Bitcoins available as simply because of the way that the work is being designed. But to answer your question, I think you need to remember because it's obviously a very volatile asset volatility has been pretty high over the last six months, for instance, and it also was Own. You know, significant changes associated with news coming in, from example from the way that is going to be regulated in certain jurisdictions, etcetera, so these can cause significant swings. But you know, there is a point of view. I think that institutional investors have been to some extent waiting on the sideline, and it's really over the last year or six months where you know, there's some of the announcement sentimental today we have could have happened. That really made a significant difference center arguably those now going to be in the market forever than withdrawing from the market, So who knows? It's obviously a highly volatile Alas, it I'm not one that I don't think anyone would want to speculate easily as to where the Valley maker doesn't matter of calling a digital gold is that speculative? Well, if you consider what Bitcoin was originally designed to do, you know, largely around payments more than anything else, because that means that making payments. It's not that efficient in the sense that that becomes the network is limited to around. Five or six transactions per second, as opposed to visas. The payments network, which handles thousands of transactions per second, because that's what it's designed to do so the real value of Bitcoin really Asa's, you say, is as a store of value. But arguably that store of value is a bit offended by the fact that the volatility can be so great as the mentor before, But does you right? You say it is often a line to gold If you like this an equivalent of additional version of gold in that respect, there was this the gold as the physical manifestation and as the value driven by the way that Physical element is you know how the price follows based on supply and demand, which Bitcoin is a virtual ass? It doesn't have that same physical manifestation, of course, Keith pair of Cambridge University's business school Listening to news hour on the BBC World Service. I'm leads to set well here in Britain, as in many countries, the race to vaccinate is honest. The number of covert nine cases continues to climb due in part to a new, highly infectious variant. British hospitals say they are overwhelmed so health officials have decided to give his many people as possible. Ah first dose of one of the two vaccines approved by regulators. That means delaying the second dose. The U. S is government's top infectious diseases expert, Dr Anthony Fauci says he does not agree. He says the United States will stick to giving people Two doses, the second of the Fizer buying tech vaccine around 21 days after the first the manufacturers of fact vaccine say it's crucial to achieve the maximum level of protection. Who is there a right and a wrong and does it depend on the vaccine? I've been speaking to Dr Chris Smith, a virologist at Cambridge University. See, agree with Anthony Fauci. One has to be dynamic about this on To protect the maximum number of people because that's the end of the day what we're trying to do, and it turns out if you crunch the numbers since the first does the vaccine does most of the heavy lifting And it's the second dose that sort of consolidates and cemented in place. It actually makes sense. In the first instance to go in to meet Andre trying, vaccinate the maximum number of people that you can in the first instance and then follow it up. Even if you have to bend the rules a bit with second dose later. And that translates into We think more life saved, but where's we're constantly being told, right from the beginning. We have to follow the science now. Fizer by on Tech says it should be. The second dose should come 21 days after the first Where is the Oxford University? AstraZeneca says that if you can, you can wait up to 12 weeks. So are they blending the two? Both of ride on guy can see. Both sides of this is different vaccines. They're different. That's a completely different vaccines. And we can't do an apples with apples comparison in that way, Unfortunately, because they work in different ways, they're they're completely different formulations that different virus vectors actually, and want one's genetic vaccine. One, sir, a disabled virus. But the point is this that the immune system does not work with the stopwatch. It doesn't say, Well, it's been three weeks now. So I can't respond to this because actually you you've waited too long. Way that this works, and I think people might be a bit confused. Just think. What if you need two doses? Is this like building a house where the first dose puts the walls up on the second day's puts the roof on? Do I? Therefore having incomplete response? If I only have one dose now have to wait with the rain pouring, and in the meantime, It doesn't work like that. When you have a vaccine. It builds a complete house. But the booster dose that you get later, effectively storm proofs and whether proofs and road tests that house so that it's.
